The accident

Friday - I followed the usual morning routine. At noon I made breakfast and ate it while looking at e-mail. Finally we packed the cooler and went to Tooele. First we shopped at Luckey's, then the market stand, then Melanie's. Thats when I discovered that I had forgotten my ID, again. Chris went in with me to pay since I did not have my credit card either, but I paid with cash since I like the concept of Cash Friday - a way to fight back against the push to get rid of cash completely. All they had that I wanted was curry coconut milk so it didn't take much. Then we went to Macey's for the last of the groceries.

Driving back, we saw a car pull out of a parking lot ahead of us and hit a man on a bike. Chris pulled over and got out. Two ladies had arrived to see if the man was ok. Chris called 911 and waited until the police and an ambulance had arrived. The man was walking around perfectly fine. But as Chris returned to the car, I could see the paramedic wiping blood from the victim's elbow. Chris said both parties were at fault: the driver for not looking and the cyclist for going the wrong way.

We returned to base without incident. Chris gave the guard my info, but he just looked uncomfortable and waved us through. We went to the post office. I asked Chris to go in so he could talk to the lady at the desk. He came back with a package and the contents of an envelop. He had used the envelop for scratch paper to help the lady get the job she wanted.

Then we went home and put away the food. We were running out of fridge space, so I took the remaining veggies from last week and made a salad. After eating, I got out the mower and put the battery inside. It worked pretty well, if not as long as I was hoping. When the battery was discharged, I plugged it up again and put the mower away. I found my ID, in another purse, and put it back where it belongs.

I read e-mail for some time, hoping Jenni would announce water aerobics. But when that didn't happen, I finally walked to the garden. There were rain drops, but it didn't actually rain. I watered the plants at the end, and weeded. I moved a snake and scooped up another one to bring home. There were more raindrops on the way home, and I was surprised to see the front and back patios completely wet.

I made tea and we watched two more episodes of Blindspot. Then he went to bed and I stayed up too late reading articles and ordering things I kept not getting around to. Then I posted to my blog and went to bed.

The big box

I got up soon after Reveille to see the sprinkler in action. I took a pic of what got wet and what didn't. Then I went back to bed.

I got up after the alarm. I drank water, brushed my teeth, and got dressed. I made lemon water, watered the plants, and read a book outside. Inside, I read about vinegar water and added some vinegar to my lemon juice. I did feel more energetic after that. I fed the plants at home. I tied a bag around the heads of bolted lettuce to collect seeds.

Chris came home and put fish in the oven. Then he went back to work to have one final lunch with his boss. I listened to an interview with Dr. Breggin while I made breakfast. Then I ate while listening to The Highwire. Fauci said the level of delta in the noses of vaccinated people is same as in unvaccinated people. Even vaccinated people will be asked to wear masks. They are not protected from the delta variant, but those recovering from infection now have widespread immunity.

I laid out in the sun, then walked to the post office. There was a big box for me. I chatted with the clerk. Then I went home and came back with my car. I took box home, and opened it. I had remembered the 6x vinegar and the battery charger, but forgot I had ordered snakes. (I should have been sitting down when I opened the box. )

I read comments on The Highware, and heard rain. I thought a wet day in Utah is like a cold day in hell, but apparently it is not quite so rare after all. Chris came home long enough to take the fish out of the oven. Then he went to Mass. I ate some fish and sprouts for supper. I walked to the garden to place the 4 snakes. I also watered the plants and fed them from the bucket. It started to sprinkle, so I walked home.

Chris was back with pizza. I took Brian's power supply back to him and thanked him for fixing the sprinkler. Then I opened a box of papers, expecting to find a bill, but there wasn't one. I sat down to jot some notes for my blog before watched TV. We watched two episodes of Blindspot, then Chris went to bed and I stayed up late writing my blog and reading articles.

Blindspot

I got up a little late. I did all the usual morning things, then put on music and coffee for meditation morning. At noon I laid out in the sun for a bit. Then I commenced with cleaning the bathrooms and kitchen. I also mopped the floor and vaccuumed the den. By then it was midafternoon. I sat down to read e-mail. I also noted some new tapping phrases for further investigation.

Since Chris did not come home for lunch, I walked to post office to get the mail, and then to the library. I checked out the first season of several series to see if we liked them. I stayed to talk to my next door neighbor who is acting librarian until the new head librarian arrives.

It was almost 5:30 when I walked home. But Chris was still at work when I got there. I noted the darkness to the south and thunder and lightning in the distance. I checked e-mail, listening to dialog about current events. I ordered outdoor fabric to recover the cushion on the new lounger. I needed every bit of 2 yards so I tried to order 3 yards, but Joanns would only let me order in multiples of 2 and I wasn't willing to order 4 yards.

Chris came home late and made himself a burritto. I made tea at 8 and we sat down to watch two episodes of Blindspot. I thought it was violent, but an interesting concept. Then he went to bed and I stayed up to blog (and read more e-mail).

Ah, more rain!

I heard Chris moving around. I did not hear the sprinkler slapping against the windows. Hopefully that is over now. I stayed in bed until 8. Then I got up, brushed my teeth and read outside for half an hour, finishing the book. I made lemon water, and watered the plants. I practiced my trombone and picked out some music to take along. I looked high and low for a folding music stand but could not find one.

I checked e-mail and listened to the Corbett report. He interviewed Catherine Austin Fitts talking about Cash Friday. It is a reaction to the central bankers trying to replace cash with digital currency which they can control.

I went to the library and checked out the sequel to the book I just finished, thus giving the author one more chance to impress me. I spoke with Melissa for a bit, then came home. I made breakfast and ate it while listening to an interview with Derreck Broze about a new company that creates organisms, and is getting some powerful backers. Chris came home briefly around 1:40 to bring me the music he printed off. At 2, I went to Saronna's house. She plays string base. We practiced scales and played through the duet of Swing Low Sweet Chariot a number of times. She seemed to have a ball. But her boys didn't seem to like it.

I went to the garden and fertilized the plants. I gave extra water to the ones at the end. I also reprogrammed the timer to water for longer. I found a few gopher holes, too. When I got home, I read e-mail, and made a salad. I had seed crackers for protein.

Chris came home. I read a little more e-mail, then went to the school to meet Jenni. We walked and talked around the school block. Then she invited me inside her house. She gave me some cinnamon pickles (more like candied). She also gave me a small jar of homemade salsa. Then I walked home and noticed my hips were a little sore, probably from standing to play trombone.

When I got home, I made tea and we watched two episodes of Warehouse 13. Chris consented to rubbing my feet which was lovely. I used my massage ball to get a kink out of my shoulder. Then I brushed my teeth and sat down to write my blog post. As usual, I got caught up in reading articles until way late.

Charging didn't work

I got up about 7:45, made lemon water. I read outside for half an hour. It was cooler than it has been for awhile. I read e-mail for hours. At noon I made and ate breakfast. Chris came home for lunch with lightweight box. I laid outside in the sun on the new lounger. The black metal armrests got quite hot.

I looked up DIY flowbee ideas, and took pics of what I found. I cleared old unread messages, moving some to separate files. I did some tapping.

I put the battery in the mower and tried to use it, but the power was way down. I sent a message to Brian. He said he would come over with a battery tester. I practiced my trombone until he got there. He tested the battery, and it had 23 volts. He used it in the mower and tested it again. It was down to 22 volts. He also adjusted the sprinker that wakes me up in the morning and douses everything on the back porch.

It started to rain so he went home and I plugged the battery in and put up my car windows. For supper, I had corn and egg salad and a green salad. While I was eating, Chris came home from work. He called his family while he fixed his burritto.

I looked through trombone music for something suitable as a duet. I scanned some lines of a score into the desktop computer and tried to piece them together and print them out. But the staff lines were spotty. I made a file and sent it to Chris.

I read a little more e-mail, then made tea and we watched two episodes of Warehouse 13 on a DVD. Afterward, I got ready for bed, then sat down to compose my blog.

Look who came for dinner

I stayed in bed late, getting up around 9. I read outside for half an hour. I watered the plants. I washed up and got dressed, then read e-mail until it was time to go to church. There were about 5 of us when the service started. The sermon was about “Thou shalt not steal”. When it was over, there were over 10 people there. I talked to Diane and Eileen afterward. Then we went home.

We changed clothes. I made breakfast while Chris made lunch. He gamed with the voices. I watched an embroidery video, then tried to split the word Huntsville into two parts with registration marks. I downloaded them to a card, and checked it out on my machine. I went back and changed the color of the registration marks, then downloaded them again.

I made and ate supper. I got a power supply from Brian and hooked up my mower battery. I set my phone alarm for 4 hours later. I went to garden to water plants and bury dog droppings in gopher holes. I saw Jenni walking so I finished up and hurried after her. She did not hear me. I caught up with her at her house and we talked for awhile, then I walked home. I dug up two holes and set a trap. I saw an antelope in my front yard so I took a pic.

I watched a list of short videos on smart cities. I made tea and watched three episodes of The Bureau of Magical Things. I read more articles, then went to bed.

The end of yam

I stayed in bed late, then got up and read outside for an hour and a half sitting in the back yard. I didn't mean to. I puttered around the kitchen, and made seed crackers. Chris gave me a coconut oil massage. Afterward, I took a shower and got dressed. We went out back where I laid on the lounger so Chris could take a splinter out of my foot. I watered plants, and husked the corn. I took the husks out to the compost.

I made breakfast, and William called so I ate as I spoke to him. Then Kurt called. I puttered outside. I put all remaining yam and sweet potato sprouts in a jar to take to Jenni's house. I threw out the parent yam which was shriveled up. I also packed dog poo and a gallon of aged urine in my car. I went to Jenni's house. We talked and she offered me the patio lounge chair that she got from another resident. When her husband got back, he put it in the van and brought it to my house. I gave her the sprouts and a seed cracker and some cacao nibs. I wheeled the iron lounger to the back patio, then went to the garden. I watered the plants and did some weeding. I also dug up a couple of gopher mounds and left them something they won't like. I added some horse dung to that five-gallon bucket.

I went home, and fixed supper. I read e-mail, then mowed until mower slowed down. I read about a mom who discovered that the school library books were inspiring her daughter to be rude and disrespectful. She started pre-reading the books and only let her daughter read ones of good moral values. Now her daughter helps her mother find good books and publishes a list for other parents.

Chris got the desktop computer working. We had to fiddle around with it to get it to recognize the embroidery dongle. Finally PE-Design was up and running. But it was almost 9, so I made tea and we watched 4 episodes of The Bureau of Magical Things. Then I posted to my blog, read a few more e-mails, and went to bed.

Slip sliding away

I woke up early, dozed in and out, then got up late. I made lemon water, and watered the plants. I read outside for half an hour. I sandwiched cardboard circles in plastic and sewed around the edges to make new lids. I fiddled with the embroidery machine to try fonts and see how large it will embroider “Huntsville”. Sadly, it will not go to 8.5 inches. So I turned to the desk top to digitize what I needed. But I could not get it to boot up properly. It kept asking me questions and I guess I chose poorly. I played my trombone for ten minutes or so.

I listened to an interview posted on American Thought Leaders, said we need to have a discussion of whether CDC or FDA has been captured, but such discussions are censored as misinformation. Lack of such discussions lead to conspiracy theories because the imagination runs wild. There is enough evidence of policies aligning more with pharmaceutical interests than with public health interests that we should be concerned.

I made and ate breakfast. I read e-mail until Chris came home. He had to go to the office to finish a report and participate in an interview for a job in Maryland. When he got back, we packed the car and went to Tooele. We shopped at Luckeys, the farm stand, Melanies, Macey's and even looked in Harbor Freight for rubber snakes. Nope. I had ordered some from Amazon but I think they are delaying shipments to entice people to enroll in Amazon Prime.

After we put the food away, I went to the garden. I gave extra water to the plants at the end of the line. I also pulled weeds for close to an hour. I got home at 6. Chris had cooked me pork and mushrooms. I made a salad to go with it. Then I washed up and went to the swimming pool, arriving about 7:30. I tried the kid's slide. Jenni thought I was brave. Then we did water exercises until they turned off the music and the water which runs down the slide.

I went home, made tea and finished watching a video. We watched two episodes of Kim's Convenience at Michele's recommendation. It was so-so. Then we watched two episodes of The Bureau of Magical Things. That was better. Chris went to bed while I tried to catch up on e-mail, then went to bed myself.

Just what we need

My headphones stopped, again. I fell asleep but kept waking up in the night. I got up around 8, washed up and got dressed. I read outside, then watered the plants, and made lemon water. I glued cardboard circles together to make new tops for the 5-gallon buckets. William called so I talked to him.

Chris called and said AAFES was having a celebration and Jenni was there asking for me. I put on my shoes and drove over to the shoppette. I parked across the street. MWR and AAFES had booths set up outside. It was hot. I sat with Jenni while she ate a free hotdog. I talked to the new colonel and his wife. I sat with Jenni for awhile again then met with the CSM to give her the embroidered names. Jenni and I talked again, and then we left. I drove home.

I made breakfast and ate it while watching The Highwire. They played a clip of Rand Paul giving Fauci a hard time. Dr, McCullough talked about the vaccine and immunity to variants. Afterward, I read e-mail for hours. I saw Kurt had called, so I called him back. William called again while I was talking to Kurt. So I called him back.

Then I had 10 minutes until I was supposed to meet with Nell. I took a break to go outside and water zone 1. But then I noticed a snake lined up under the fence. I tried to take a pic but it slithered away. Nell sent me a Zoom link and I got online to meet with her. We tapped together for over an hour for grief and sadness.

After the call ended, I made a salad for supper, adding in some dandelion from the front yard. I showed Chris the pic of the snake and he said it was a gopher snake. Then I made tea and we watched two episodes of Quantum Leap. I posted to my blog and read e-mail before going to bed.

Embroidery is neither simple nor easy

I read outside for half an hour, not thrilled with the story, or caring about the characters. I made coffee and did the special lymph-moving exercises. I turned on the coffee morning music and did meditation and tapping. I watered the plants, then started cleaning. Chris did not come home for lunch.

I got out my trombone and practiced for next week. But it made me think of my dad and I cried. I turned my attention to the names that the CSM asked me to embroider for her. I dug out my embroidery machine and the hoops and stabilizer. Chris came home briefly to deliver the mail. I told him there were so many choices to make about the embroidery and he suggested I defer them to the CSM. But she said anything was fine. I chose dark blue fabric and audioned some colors to go with it. When I started stitching, the fabric distorted, so I had to rip that out and start over. I re-did the stabilizer and starched the fabric. I did a stabilizng block stitch, not realizing that the bobbin thread did not deploy appropriately. I stitched out both names and they looked good. But when I freed them from the hoop, the fabric distorted again. I ironed them as best I could, but could not get them entirely flat. Then I removed the block stitches and the jump stitches. It took longer than I thought.

I checked e-mail, and heard rain. It didn't rain like this last summer. I listened to podcasts. I dug up possible gopher mound in back yard and set a trap. I fertilized the plants. I cut four cardboard circles. Chris came home and made himself supper. I skipped water aerobics because it was too cold (at 80 degrees). I didn't go to the garden either.

I made tea and we watched two episodes of Quantum Leap. I wrote my blog post, then took pics of the replay of the change-of-command ceremony on Facebook to have something to go with the blog post. I listened to one more podcast, then went to bed.

Change of Command

The headphones worked fine, and I fell asleep. I woke up hearing Chris' phone ring in the middle of the night. Someone was reporting a power outage. He stayed up after that and I went back to sleep. I woke up at 7:30. I did the usual things. I grabbed a bandaid for my cut finger. But it turned out to be a butterfly bandaid so I had to find a piece of cotton to cover the wound.

I read outside for 15 minutes, then washed up and got dressed. I was watering plants when Chris came home to get me at 8:30. He drove me to his office. He introduced me to a bunch of people and I tried to make appropriate small talk. Then we went to the parade field to find our seats. Again, more handshaking and introductions. Even though I said each person's name after the introduction, after a short conversation, the name was gone.

Finally we sat and the program began. The Utah National Guard band played. Important people were introduced and gave speeches. The colorguard came forward and the local flag was passed around symbolizing the change of command. More speeches, then singing of Army songs. For some reason, I got weepy.

When it was over, Chris introduced me to more people, of all kinds of agencies that I never heard of. Then we walked to the community club where there was a reception for the new colonel. We stood in line to greet him and his family. Then we got snacks and made small talk.

Finally, we walked back to Chris' office building. He showed me some room that was recently fixed up like a museum to the tenants on post. He tried to explain what all the different commands do. Then we went home. I changed clothes and made breakfast. Chris made lunch and went back to work.

I read e-mail for some time. I also got the bread machine going. I read a really long article by Dr. Seneff about the ways mRNA vaccines could be harmful but that we haven't tested for. I went to the post office for mail. None. I checked the bread machine and discovered there was not enough liquid so I added some and restarted it. I wrote a check to Kurt and dropped it off at the post office on my way to the library. The library was open and I gave the book to Melissa and we talked for some time. I chose a book by Stuart Woods because they had so many of them.

Finally I left, and went home. Chris was already there. He was talking to Michele and handed me the phone. So I talked to her for some time. Then I had to go to the garden. I took two gallons of water. When I got there, I used most of it on the plants near the end of the hose. I also dug up the gopher trap which it had covered in dirt.

Jenni came by and we went walking. We stopped at her house to get some garden plants and drove to the garden. She gave me a zucchini and invited me to pick some of her lettuce, spinach and beet greens. We talked for awhile and then I got in my car and went home. I made a salad and ate while watching Quantum Leap. After the second episode, we went to bed. I got up later to finish my blog post. I read that the Red Cross needs blood donors, but those vaccinated cannot give plasma. I heard rain, so I put on a raincoat and ran outside to put up my car windows. Then I went to bed.

* First pic: handing the flag around to show the command is changing. Second pic: the old and new commanders meet as we all clap. You can see the big white cotton ball on my finger. *

Door-to-door vaccine salesmen?

Monday - the headphone battery still low even though it was on the charger all day yesterday. I put it back on, but used a different cord. Then I laid in bed until I fell asleep. I woke up about 7:30. I tried to make lemon water but the first lemon was bad. So I got another one and it was bad, too. I hurt my back getting it out of the fridge so I quit. I sat with my heating pad and read probate instructions.

Later I watered plants, washed dishes, cut up food waste, and read outside. I dug up my gopher trap, and stuck a lollipop in the hole. I also transplanted seedlings to bigger pots and some into the ground. Then I put cash in an envelope, wrote a name on it, put on my shoes, and drove to the shoppette. I handed the envelop to one of the ladies behind the counter, hoping I looked anonymous. Then I went to the library. Sadly, it was closed so I chose a book from the free shelf in the hallway. There was a sign recommending the use of the book drop-off box, but I couldn't find it.

I went home, and started making breakfast. Chris came home for lunch. I checked e-mail. I read an article about Biden wanting to send people knocking on doors to encourage vaccination. This is already happening in NC. But in the comments section there were some interesting questions:

How safe are vaccines traveling door-to-door in heat of summer?

What are the credentials of the people giving that shot?

Are they prepared to handle anaphylactic shock?

If a kid answers the door, will they jab them without getting parental consent?

How do we know if they are really who they say they are?

Why are we jabbing healthy citizens while allowing unhealthy illegal immigrants to cross our borders?

I went to the garden to fertilize the plants. Chris came home from work. He had a splinter so I dug at his big toe with a needle. Then I didn't see anything else, but he thought there was some left. We went to the community club. I cut my finger on his car door handle getting out of the car. I wrapped my finger in a napkin. He introduced me to several people. He ordered food and I sat and watched him eat. Then I reminded him of water aerobics at 7:30. So we left. I changed into my suit and did not have time to eat. I drove to the gym. Jenni and two others were already in the water. I joined in. We did exercises but mostly talked. Then we were shooed out of the pool at 8. I dried off and went home.

I made a salad, and we watched Quantum Leap. I set out a dress for tomorrow, then read some e-mail. I wrote my blog post for yesterday, then got ready for bed.

Quick, Dorothy, grab Toto!

Sunday - I wore my sleep mask, and used the headphones, but the battery died before the music was done. I could not find my towel. After I fell asleep, I dreamed that I let someone give me the shot and I couldn't figure why I had done that.

In the morning, we got up around 8. I watered the plants and read outside, I read e-mail and listened to a podcast by Dr Mccullough: he said the proper safety measures for vaccine rollout have not been put in place by the CDC and FDA. The vaccine program should be stopped, or at the very least, no one under 30 should be vaccinated.

I washed up and got dressed for church. Then we went to the chapel. Only the assistant was there. A few people came at the last minute. The chaplain was out of town so Chris gave the opening prayer. I took a pic. Then music and lyrics were provided by the internet. Chris sang along. Then we watched a recording of the chaplain giving his sermon. Another song played and church was over. We stood around talking for awhile, then went home.

We changed clothes. Chris fixed his lunch and I fixed my breakfast. He sat down to game with the voices, but too many voices were missing so the game was called off. I ate breakfast and read e-mail. One speaker talked about agency malfeasance, how helpful early treatment is but FDA would not fund studies of early treatments.

Chris cooked the corn I bought at the farm stand. I ate two cobs even though I wanted all four. I went outside to dig up a gopher mound. I decided to use the trap from a previous mound. But when attempting to move the trap, I realized there was a live one caught in it. Chris dispatched it for me. I moved the trap to another mound on the other side of the house.

A freak storm blew in suddenly. I ran inside. Everything was dark and stormy. Soon it was over, but branches were down all over post. I made and ate a salad. The Damours called, so we talked. I walked to the garden and watered the plants at the end of the line (soaker hose). Then I walked back, going around the corner so that I ran into Jenni who was walking around the school block. We walked it together and then some, chatting all the way. Finally I was back where I started so I headed home. I was passing Kristen's house as she came home, so I stopped to talk to her. We talked so long that her husband came out. Then the three of us chatted for some time. Finally we all went home.

It was almost 9 and Chris was wondering where I was. I made tea and we watched one episode of Quantum Leap. Then we talked about a lady on post who needs help with her rent. Chris went to bed and I stayed up to blog.

* Chris is making opening remarks for the service this morning. *

Sewing Day

Saturday - I got up at 7:30, and drank baking soda water. I made lemon water, and drank it roughly every half hour. I washed the dishes in the sink. I put the cold eggs from yesterday in the steamer for 20 minutes. Then I put them in ice water. When I peeled them, it was not easy, but better than yesterday. I put them in with the red beets. Then I watered the plants in zones 2 through 5. Zones 1 and 4 are mostly seedlings. It is probably too late for them to mature before first frost.

I read outside for half an hour. Then Chris gave me a massage. I pulled fabrics for the project. I took a shower, then made breakfast. I watered zone 1, then ate breakfast, and checked e-mail. I put together materials and tools for the project.

Chris put the machines in the car, and we went to the chapel. He helped me set them up, then he went to the commissary. I threaded the machines and laid out materials. The CSM came, then the lady with two girls, and Jenni, then Diane. Three of them made the project and the others had their own project. The girls called theirs slices of pizza. I met the lady's new son, Jedidiah. CSM asked me to embroider names for quilts that she's making. Saronna and I talked about playing music together.

Jenni helped me pack up. I went home, stopping at the post office for mail. I read some e-mail, then dealt with the new gopher mound and set a trap. Chris cooked ground pork for supper, and I made a salad. I listened to a podcast on dowsing for animals. I took out one container of food waste to the compost pile, then the sprinklers came on before I could bring out the second container. I made tea and we watched one episode of Quantum Leap. I fell asleep on the couch. But I woke up in time to help Chris make the bed with clean sheets. I stayed up to post to my blog.

Bad peelings

I woke up before the sprinkers hit. I wrapped my small towel across my eyes and dozed off. Chris was already up. When I heard my alarm ring in the other room, I got up. He took a shower and went to work for some morning meeting.

I made lemon water, watered the plants, then went outside to read a book. There was exactly enough story left for the half hour. But the library is probably closed until Monday so I can't return it and get another one.

I made up two weeks worth of supplements, and ordered more. I walked to the post office to pick up a Swansons order. I made and ate breakfast. Then we packed the cooler and went to Tooele. We started at Luckeys, then went to the farm stand, where I bought corn and cherries. I got garbanzo beans at Melanies. Then we went to Macey's, followed by the $store where I looked for rubber snakes. No luck.

We went home and put the food away. I did some mowing, but didn't push the mower too hard. I hardboiled eggs, then discovered that fresh eggs peel badly. While I was checking for advice, a windstorm blew through. I listened to the day 10 sleep challenge.

When the wind died down, I went to the garden to set a trap and add dog droppings. I also weeded. When I got back, I went to give Brian the $5 I owed for the battery. He wanted to know which charger I ordered and he looked it up to see if it was the right one.

Chris steamed red beets. I boiled them, and made pickling mix. I tried to peel an egg from the fridge, but the egg still stuck to the shell. I threw the ratty thing in the pickling juice and left the rest in the fridge. I made tea and we watched two episodes of quantum leap. I looked up how to boil and peel fresh eggs, then went to bed.

Finding the right project

I got up about 7:30. I looked in my sample box for baby projects. I made lemon water, and watered plants in zones 2 thru 5. Zone 1 gets watered by the morning sprinkler so I water it later in the day. I read my book for half an hour outside. I turned on the router, and got dressed.

I read e-mail. I listened to day 9 of sleep challenge. I watched a video on DNA/RNA, how to sequence a viral genome (and how sarscov2 was pieced together from genetic material found in the lungs of one person). I checked the sewing album on my Facebook page, and pages on Pinterest. I downloaded some pics of baby projects.

I made breakfast and ate it while watching The Highwire. Del interviewed a WHO whistleblower who said GAVI (founded by Gates) has inappropriate influence over the WHO.

I did more searching for easy baby projects. I listened to videos while piecing puzzles. I searched for and ordered a new battery charger for the lawn mower, plus other stuff on the list. I chose a stuffed sailboat. I sewed a sample and took a pic and posted it to the Dugway Facebook group as the Saturday project.

I went to the garden and fed the plants. I noticed a gopher mound. When I got home, I ate the last of the turkey soup and then made a salad. I also made tea and we watched two episodes of Quantum Leap. Then I listened to a comedy/activist video and pieced puzzles. Finally I paused it and posted to my blog so I could go to bed.

First Water Aerobics class

I got up at 7:30. I turned off the AC system because it is probably wireless. I read a book for half an hour. I started coffee morning, then remembered the plants, so I stopped to water them. When meditation was over, I started cleaning the bathrooms and kitchen. Chris came home for a quick lunch. I finished cleaning and did some vacuuming that didn't get done last week. Then I turned the AC back on.

I showered, and read e-mail for too long. I tried to watch Polly and Mary, but only last weeks show was posted. I went out to mow. Brian and Johnnie were out for a walk and came over. He said my charger might be burnt out. So I mowed a little more, then put the mower away and brought the battery in. I plugged it into the charger, and no lights came on. So I added 'charger' to my shopping list.

I listened to a podcast by a Canadian pastor entreating people to stand up to the evil going on in the world. Chris came home from work, said the phone service was working again.

I changed into my bathing suit and put clothes over it. I went to the pool. I did not see any place to pay, and I was hoping to get change. Jenni was in the deep end with another guy. So I took off the clothes covering my suit and got in the water. The water wasn't cold, but with the wind blowing, I got a little chilled. She showed us what exercises to do and I did what she did as best I could. She and the other guy were taller so they could reach the bottom in places where I could not. At the end we swam around a bit, then got out. I dried off and mentioned that I hadn't paid the $4 entrance fee. The pool guy said it was ok as long as I was only there for water aerobics.

When I got home, I changed clothes and made tea. We watched two episodes of Quantum Leap. I brushed my teeth and wrote my blog post. I tried to catch up on e-mail before going to bed.

No phone service

I got to bed very late, so when morning came, I pulled the towel over my eyes and went back to sleep. I got up at 8:30. I drank water with baking soda in it. Then I made the lemon solution. I brushed my teeth and washed some of the dishes in the sink. Then I read outside for a little more than half an hour. I came in for another drink, and soaped up the big black pot in the sink. I turned on the router and started reading e-mail.

Around 11:30, I walked down to Housing. The ladies there were very attentive. Suzi gave me a scraper and would not let me pay for it. So I asked for a comment sheet so I could leave a positive review. When I got home, there was a dozen eggs at my doorstep. CJ had stopped by to deliver them and I wasn't here to pay her. I sent her an e-mail and she said Chris could pay her since she sees him at work.

I made breakfast, then remembered to water the plants. I have them in 5 places and I hit all 5 zones. I ate breakfast while reading e-mail. I placed both traps near each other, hoping the gopher would hit one. I baited the traps with peanut butter. Then I mowed until I felt raindrops. I put away the mower and came inside. (It never rained). I read e-mail and watched a video. Then the doorbell rang and it was Jenni. She came over because the phones are out. We talked for hours, and she invited me to water aerobics, which she is just starting this week at the pool.

I checked the traps: the ants found one, the other was full of dirt. I washed my hands and ate some things from the fridge to use them up. I made a big salad. Then Chris came home from work. Finally I made tea, and we watched two episodes of Quantum Leap. Chris went to bed, but I listened to podcasts, then posted to my blog and went to bed.

Farewell luncheon

I woke up early, when the sprinklers came on. But I could only see one, in the backyard. I watered plants, then read for half an hour. I turned on the router and started reading e-mail.

Chris came home about 11:30. I put on nicer clothes. We went to the community club for a farewell dinner for the colonel. Chris introduced me to a bunch of people. Lunches were delivered in plastic to-go boxes. We sat with Johnnie and Brian and others. We started eating. After much conversation, a lady came around to pick up trash. Then the program began. Lots of people came up to say a few words and hand the colonel a memento. They said really nice things. You'd have thought he had been here for 20 years, not just 2. It lasted about an hour and a half, including two videos. Afterward, Chris introduced me to the lawyer and to the videographer.

Chris brought me home and went back to work. I jotted notes for my blog. I started deleting e-mail by sender since unread e-mails were almost to 1000. I worked outside with gopher traps, but the darned creature kept covering them with dirt. I listened to the last interviews from the dental summit. Chris came home, and said lawyer told him Army had nothing to do with the people on the cleaning list. It was purely a contract between the occupant and whoever agrees to do the cleaning.

I made and ate breakfast for supper. I went to the garden with three gallons of water. I discovered the water was back on. Yea! When I got home, I unburied the gopher traps, then made tea.

We watched two episodes of Quantum Leap. I brushed my teeth. I swished while listening to a lawyer recount the illegal patents filed by CDC and pharmaceutical companies, and the timeline showing patents were filed for treatments before the disease was identified. 73 patents were filed before 2019 on attributes of this supposedly unique virus. Ace2 receptor had dozens of patents filed before 2020.

Still no water

We got up about 8:30. I read outside for half an hour. Then I watered the plants, and checked e-mail. When I finished the Sunday supplement routine, I washed up and got ready for church.

We got to the chapel with time to talk. We sang songs at the beginning of the service. The chaplain talked about murder ( as in thou shalt not) and anger. He seemed to be against feeling angry. After the service, I talked to Diane and Eileen. Then we went home and changed clothes. I made breakfast while Chris made lunch and started gaming with the voices, including Michele's. Johnnie called to say Brian had my mower battery ready. I searched all around for my wallet, then went over after breakfast. Brian had the new battery packs (which he had ordered from Amazon) and the old ones. I paid him but did not have exact change. He sent his son to carry the old one home for me. I put the new one in the mower and started it up. Adam went home to tell his father that it worked.

I picked and ate my first tomato. I listened to talks from the dental summit. I got sleepy and took a nap. I didn't sleep much. I mowed the back yard, which really needed it. Then I went to the garden to feed and water the plants. The water pipes were still not active, and no sprinklers were on. Perhaps I missed them.

When I got home, I made a salad and ate it while listening to interviews from the dental summit. I looked up accordion music markings. I made tea and we watched two episodes of Warehouse 13. I brushed my teeth, got ready for bed, then sat down to write my blog.

Another one bites the dust

I got up at 8:30, feeling fine in spite of having gone to bed late. I made lemon water but the lemon skin was so thick that I did not get much juice out of the pulp. I read outside for half an hour, then read e-mail inside. Around 11, Chris gave me a coconut oil massage. Afterward we talked for a bit. He showered while I made seed crackers. Then I showered while he put turkey and the seed crackers in the oven. After my shower, I made and ate breakfast. I laid out in the sun for awhile.

I moved the trap, then dug up other gopher mounds. I watered grass, and planted some seedlings in the flowerbed. I checked a trap and caught a gopher. I called to Chris, who took it away.

When I came in, I saw that Chris had deboned the turkey and left the bones for me. I picked them clean as I listened to interviews. Chris made supper with the leftover turkey meat and a can of coconut milk curry. After supper I went to the garden with three gallons of water. The water was not back on, but there were new fittings on the broken pipes. I tried to water parts of Rusty's garden but the ground was too hard and dry to soak up the water. I stopped at the post office and picked up a package and a DVD from Netflix. When I got home, I gave the DVD to Chris.

I watered the grass where it needed encouragement on the other side of the house. I made tea and took the food waste out to the compost pile. Then we watched two episodes of Warehouse 13. I fell asleep on the couch, and woke up to post to blog. Then we dressed the bed with clean sheets. I worked on the post for today, then went to bed.

For want of a screw

Chris got up early and went to work as usual, even though he usually doesn't have to work on Fridays. I got up near 8, made lemon water and watered the plants. I read outside until 8:30, then came inside to drink water and read until 9. Then I turned on the router and looked at e-mail. I called the Damours to tell them about William.

I listened to interviews from the dental summit, then Chris came home from work. I finished the puzzle I was piecing and got ready to go shopping.

We drove to Tooele, listening to the book on CD. I fell asleep for a short while. We stopped at the bank to deposit some checks. Then we shopped at Luckey's. Chris stayed in the car at Melanie's while I went in and picked up a few things. Then we went to Macey's. I took out my glasses to read the ingredients on a pack of cheese. The screw had fallen out. Chris tried to put it back in and it fell on the floor. We could not find it. So Chris bought a glasses repair pack. But as we took our groceries to the car, he spotted an optician place. So we went in and the lady behind the counter put the lens back in and replaced the screw so the glasses were fully restored.

Faye called on our way home. The call dropped as we went through the mountains. I called her back on the other side. Chris stopped at the post office for packages, then we went home. I hung up with Faye and brought in stuff from the car. I read articles and listened to interviews on my laptop. Chris cooked asparagus. I ate supper.

I took two gallons of water to the garden and watered my plants. It might not be enough. When I got home, I dug up a mound and put in dog droppings. Then I made tea, and we watched two episodes of Quantum Leap. Chris went to bed and I stayed up way too late reading.

No new mounds

I got up a little after 7:30, not having heard the alarm. I squeezed a lemon, then took a shower and wiped down the bathtub. I brushed and swished. I knocked down the bird's mud from the door way. I checked the gopher trap. Unsprung, but no new mounds. Maybe it was the dog droppings I put in a nearby hole yesterday. I watered all the plants and took out the food waste. I got a msg from cc company asking if we made certain charges. I called Chris and the company. He disputed the charge by Holiday Inn Express.

I made breakfast, and started listening to The Highwire. They were talking all about Fouci and his sordid past. Chris came home for lunch, then went back to work. Rusty came by and gave me cash for helping to clean the house on the hill. I finishsed watching, and checked e-mail. William called to say he was home from the hospital. I got the chocolate off the strap to my computer case by soaking it in cold soapy water and hanging it out to dry. I soaked my foot in epsom salt water. I needled my toe but nothing came out. But it didn't hurt any more so maybe something did come out.

I went to the garden with some seedlings. Another sprinkler was going and prevented me from digging a hole. I noticed that the sprinklers were attached to long hoses from some of the first gardens. There was a big hole with a broken pipe dripping water. I concluded that the drip systems were not working and someone had installed these sprinklers to address the problem.

I went home and called Chris. Then I filled some gallon jugs and went back to water my plants. I dug some holes and planted some seedlings. A man came over from his garden and told me all about what happened and that it should be fixed this weekend. He told me a lot of other things, too, which made me think he didn't know who I was married to. I did not enlighten him.

I watered my plants and went home. Chris had cooked me mushrooms. We chatted for a long time. Then I made my evening drink and we watched two episodes of Quantum Leap. I got ready for bed.

The water is out

I got up just before the alarm went off, not sure what protocol to follow. I drank some baking soda water. I made coffee and exercised, etc, with watering plants thrown in. I had to rush meditation morning a little, then cleaned the bathrooms and kitchen.

I stopped early to go up to the house where Rusty said the insection team would be early. But no one was there. So I went down to the last turnoff and parked. I watched the road as I wiped down my dashboard with the wet cloth I brought to wipe up anything the inspection team found. When a black truck passed me, I drove back to the house and parked. It was the inspection team. I waited until Kristen arrived and went in with her. The inspection team took pics of everything. I mentioned some things that needed to be repaired. Then I talked with Kristen until the team decided everything was ok. Inspection lady told us about all the break-ins in her house and now that her neighbors moved, the break-ins stopped. Kristen signed papers and we left. She had to go to Housing to turn in the key.

I went home. I jotted notes for my blog. Faye was on Facebook so we texted back and forth. They took her swollen node out and sent it to a lab. Then the doorbell rang. CJ brought me a dozen eggs. They were $2 and I did not have change so she put it on my tab. I'll have to get some ones. Happily, some are duck eggs!

Chris sent me a weather report with excessive heat warnings with temps of 107. I vacuumed, then watched a presentation on tapping. There were also some interviews. I watched a movie called America Rewritten. I listened to Polly and Mary talk about current events.

Chris came home from work and fixed himself a turkey burritto. I talked to him, watching him prepare food, the decided I needed to leave since I don't eat on Wednesday. I went outside to move the gopher trap. I planted a tomato and a cabbage that Chris started from store-bought, into the flowerbed. I took the last two eggs from the store and went to the garden. Because the garden next to mine had a wide sprinkler on, I had to dig the holes while dodging the spray of water. I planted a melon of some kind and two cucumber seedlings. I fed all the plants from the 5 gallon bucket, but when I went to refill the jug, there was no water. Grrr.

When I got home, I made a cup of Nighty Night tea. We watched two episodes of Quantum Leap. I posted to my blog, read another article or two, and completed the bedtime ritual. I slept well and did not need the headphones.

Mow mow mow the lawn

I woke up early, but pulled a towel over my eyes and fell asleep again after Chris went to work. I barely heard the alarm go off at 7:30. I wondered if I could get up after working so hard yesterday, so I got up and was a little surprised. I started the lemon protocol. I read outside for half an hour. I checked the gopher trap, which was empty, then moved it.

I got a text from Johnnie asking if we would like to borrow their mower to finish the lawn. So I went over and Brian showed me how to use it. We also investigated using 30% vinegar vs steel wool for cleaning calcium off of windows.

I pushed the mower home and did the rest of the side yard, stopping to pick up stones and flatten gopher mounds. I parked it in the driveway. I went inside and read e-mail. There was a water quality report showing arsenic in the water here on post. That was interesting because my blood test came back positive for arsenic. Chris came home for lunch. He used the rolls for bread, while I started another loaf in the bread machine. He put the self-help mower in my trunk and went back to work. I watched an interview on root canals. Karen e-mailed about William being in the hospital. I passed it on to Kurt. Karen called me and we had a nice chat. I called William through the hospital, but there was no answer. I called his cell phone and talked to him for a little bit.

I drove to Self-Help and returned the lawn mower. I talked to the lady at Housing about getting in the cleaners list and she said I had to call the director. She gave me his number. I went home and listened to another dental interview. Then I called the director. He told me to leave my name and number with Housing so he can call me when he finds out how. Sigh.

I pushed Brian's mower back to his house. I made a salad and ate supper. Chris came home. I told him about the Housing response. I went to the house on the hill at 6:15. I swept and mopped floors, stopping to scrub black marks here and there. Finally there was only a little mopping left, and I was feeling nauseous, so I left Kristen to finish up. I got home just before 9. I made my tea. I got a call from Andi, who raises chickens and sells eggs. We talked about meeting on Friday. Then Chris and I watched one episode of Quantum Leap. He went to bed and I stayed up to catch up on e-mail.

More cleaning - ugh.

We got up late since it was a holiday. I watered the plants and made lemon water. But I did not get to drink it all. After calling Rusty, I went up to the house at 10:30.

He wasn't there yet so I swept the front porch and started cleaning the door. He and his wife arrived with their adopted son. He checked out the bathroom I had cleaned and decided to scrub a little more on the shower surround, getting the floor all dirty again. He said something about the blinds and left. I cleaned the shower unit again. Then he showed me how he cleans the blinds, and I did each bedroom before vaccuuming them. I climbed up on the counters and wiped the kitchen cabinets. I also did the blinds over the sink, which were grimy.

They left, taking a break for lunch. I finished the bedrooms and scrubbed the toilet in the half bath and eliminated some streaks on the mirror. When I was finished, I locked the door and went home. Chris was mowing the lawn. I had a bite to eat. I moved the gopher trap. William called. I talked to him and then to Faye. She is having her biopsy tomorrow and is supposed to bathe with special soap today and tomorrow. I tried soaking a paper towel in white vinegar, then plastering it to the back window for 10 minutes or so. When I removed it and scrubbed, it made no difference to the hard water spots. I rested and read e-mail. Chris did not finish the lawn because the mower ran out of gas. He told me that my electric mower had a bad battery cell and Brian was working on it.

I went back to cleaning the big house around 4:30. I finished sweeping the garage and came home around 7:30. I picked some lettuce and made a salad. I ate it while watching an interview on root canals and non-metal implants. I made my evening drink and we watched two episodes of Quantum Leap. I wrote my blog post for yesterday from the notes I left myself. Then I went to bed.

Ain't got no sole

We got up late. I watered the plants. I read my book outside for 30 minutes, then inside because it was so good I could not put it down. But when I, heard Chris shaving, I closed it, washed up and got dressed for church. I waited for Chris then went to the chapel. We got there just in time to say a few words and sit. As usual, we sang three songs. I actually knew two of them. I listened to the sermon which had a lot of emotional triggers: honoring father and mother. We had communion at the end. Then after the service, there was fellowship among the 10 of us that were there.

Chris and I went home and changed clothes. I made breakfast, and listened to interviews. Chris made topping for brownies using coconut cream. It was white until he put in vanilla. After covering the brownie, he added raspberries and blueberries for a red, white and blue effect. I watered the outside plants again, and fixed up yesterday's blog post for tonight. I planted some peppers in the flowerbed and covered them with netting because something ate all the leaves of the beets seedlings from yesterday.

I put on white shoes to go with my red shirt and blue shorts. We brought rolls and the dessert over to Johnnie's house. Brian had chicken and ribs on the grill and smoker. Johnnie nuked the corn, and heated the rolls in the oven. Then we sat outside and ate at their picnic table. It was lovely.

At least until we finished the meat and corn and beans and rolls and potato salad. Then a wind/sand storm blew in and we had to pack up all the food and bring it inside. As we talked, it also rained briefly. We had dessert, and Brain showed off their Roomba. The sole of my left shoe fell off. We said goodbye and took the dessert and rolls home. Along the way, I found my right sole which I hadn't known was missing. So I texted Johnnie to let her know.

We put the food away. I watered compost pile, and read e-mail. Then I heated water to make tea. We watched two episodes of Quantum Leap. Then we got ready for bed.

Baking rolls and brownies

I had a little trouble falling asleep last night, but no hot flashes, so maybe the acupuncture helped. We stayed in bed late. I got up to make lemon water after 8:30. Then I watered all the plants. I had no inclination to go cleaning again. I prepared yesterdays post and jotted notes for today. I called Jamie and told her I wasn't coming to clean. Johnnie invited us over for the 4th. We offered to bring rolls and dessert. I read a book outside, then Chris gave me a coconut oil massage. I showered and finished the lemon protocol while reading e-mail.

I made breakfast, I made a pattern for the project. I watched some cleaning videos and learned how to make vinegar gel. I watched an interview, then packed up. Chris put the machines in my trunk and rode with me to the chapel. Johnnie and Diane came. Eileen dropped by to say hello and bring me some doggie droppings. Diane made the project while we all chatted. Afterward, we packed up. Johnnie helped me put machines in the car. Then I drove home.

I ate half a banana and an orange. I repotted some seedlings to larger containers. I moved the gopher trap. We went to the commissary to get raspberries and blueberries for the brownies. I put ingredients in the bread machine to make dough. Chris whipped up brownie batter and put it in the oven. I went to the garden to plant peppers, but it took longer than I thought because I kept forgetting things. I went back to check on the brownies, then returned to the garden to finish planting peppers. It was depressing to see how big everyone elses plants are and how small mine are.

I divided the dough into rolls and left them to rise. I made and ate a salad, then put the rolls in the oven. We watched two episodes of Warehouse 13 and some bonus stuff on the DVD, stopping now and then to check on the rolls, then take them out and melt butter over them. Chris cut one in half to check doneness. After the shows, I wrote my blog. It was midnight by the time we got to bed.

Needled

I woke up tired so I stayed in bed until almost 9. I got a text that Rusty was cleaning at 9:30. So I watered the plants, got dressed and watched a few cleaning videos for shower surrounds. I made some Dawn/vinegar mix and put it in the bucket. Then I drove over to the house.

I worked on the shower in the master bathroom, again. Still didn't get the hard water spots off. Rusty and Jaime and I talked for some time. I worked until 11. the chemical smell was pretty strong. Then I told Rusty I had to leave. He talked to me for awhile, then I rushed out and went home. I made breakfast and ate it. I started packing the cooler. Chris forgot that I had an appointment at 1. So for a few minutes I thought I would have to drive myself. But he got dressed and we left. We talked most of the way instead of listening to the book on CD.

Chris dropped me off at Melanies. I looked around and made a mental shopping list until the previous person left. Then I went into Lori's office. I gave her my supplement sheet and we talked for awhile. Finally she stuck me full of needles and left the room for 20 minutes. I heard Chris come in the use the bathroom. He must have finished shopping. Afterward, she did not charge me, but said I could book another appointment if I slept better tonight. I bought some stuff I had seen earler, then went outside to meet Chris. He did not have the kombucha, not knowing which flavor I wanted. He said he had called me, but my phone had no record of missed calls. Anyway, we went to Luckey's for kombucha, then went home.

We stopped at the post office, and picked up a DVD from Netflix. We went home, and put food away. I had Chris take a splinter out of my big toe. I washed it and put colloidal silver on it. I called Jaime. She was at the house cleaning. I looked in the garage for a scraper, but didn't find one. I drove to the house to help her. Jaime had some paint scrapers. That seemed to work on the white fiberglass surround. I wanted to try vinegar, but realized at the last moment that I had grabbed the amonia instead. We talked for a long time, exchanging life histories. She left and I finished the bathroom, concluding that it was as good as it was going to get. I wiped some window sills in the bedroom, then went home.

It was too late to eat. I made my evening drink and checked e-mail until Chris was ready to watch. We saw two episodes of Warehouse 13. Then I wrote my blog post, tried to catch up on e-mail, and went to bed, hoping to sleep.

Fireworks!

I watered the plants, and read a book outside. I fixed up the supplement spreadsheet, filling in empty spaces. I had trouble getting the old desktop to boot, so I sent the file to Chris. I read e-mail, then posted an announcement for class. I made green mix, and took roots from the freezer. I made tea and breakfast.

Chris came home with copies of the file and the new gopher trap. I watched the Highwire. They talked about Fukushima. Then I picked up tumbleweeds and put them in a garbage bag. I looked at gopher trap videos, and cleaned up a mound, then set the trap. I cleaned up another mound and heard the trap snap shut. I looked over to see it moving back and forth. I pulled the trap out and a live, pissed off gopher was attached by one leg. I wasn't sure what to do. Jesus said let he who is without sin cast the first stone. Well, that person never showed up, so I rocked the critter to sleep so it wouldn't suffer any more. I sat on the back porch and crushed the tumbleweeds. A brigade of firetrucks paraded around base, with the commander waving from the front vehicle.

Chris came home from work. We changed clothes and walked to the gym. Outside there were activities. I talked to the fire chief. Then we went around back and sat at a table. We talked to a few other people. Johnnie and Brian came for awhile. Mostly I sat while Chris talked to the Germans or stood in line to get a burger. A band called Article 15 played. Then they took a break. Some kids danced. There was a hotdog eating contest, and a halopeno eating contest. And a pinata for the younger kids. Chris brought me to see Mindy who is in charge of the community garden this year. She is using rubber snakes to keep gophers out. Petra told me that misfits.com sends out produce every week. I met Mike A and he challenged me to a game of chess. We had to wait for the other players to finish. Then we had a nice game, but he was a more experienced player so he won. A group of soldiers from Germany were here to practice preventing chemical and biological warfare. I am not certain what that entails, but if they told me, they'd probably have to kill me. Anyway, Chris introduced me to two of them and I did my best to make conversation.

I was hungry and it was after nine, so we walked home and I got something to eat. I was exhausted. Then we drove to the parade field just in time for the fireworks. They were excellent! And just overhead, so that I wanted to lie in the grass and watch. But I didn't. After they were over, the garrison manager came over to say hi. We talked a bit, then he and Chris went to the firetruck with the bucket in the air to scan for sparks. But none were found and the bucket came down. When Chris came back to the car, we went home. I stayed up long enough to write down what happened today and post for yesterday.

Where's the beef? Here

I woke up with my headphones still on. I stayed in bed until almost 8. I expected to be sore, but was not. I brushed my teeth and watered plants. I washed dishes and got the coffee started. I sat outside with my feet in the grass and read for half an hour. It was nice to get lost in a book. I prepared for meditation morning. I saw gopher mounds and could not resist flattening them. I read the instruction on the gopher bait I scored last night (left behind by the person who moved out). It sounded so toxic I was afraid to use it. I moved the trap.

I started the CD lineup and drybrushed and exercised. The tears began to flow when I saw a pic of Dad playing his accordion. I continued on with meditation and tapping. There were more tears to come.

Finally it was time to clean and my mind stayed on that. Chris came home for lunch. No mail for me. He made a gallon of tea. I finished cleaning the bathrooms. I vaccuumed the air purifier filters, and started on the kitchen. Chris went back to work. I finished the kitchen and looked at the current e-mail, still up from last night. I used my lemon spray on the back windows and let it sit for awhile. Of course it dried too quickly. When I wiped it off, it left spots on the lower sill.

I showered and the doorbell rang. The lady selling ground beef delivered a bag of 25 one pound packages. She owns a farm and is selling off the beef because the price of hay is skyrocketing. We talked for a bit and she mentioned that she sells eggs too. And some of them are duck eggs. Yea!

I looked on my computer and online for sewing projects for this Saturday. Nothing seemed quite right. I took a pic of the dog bandana, and a potholder. I couldn't decide if the dog bandana should have the tick formula on it. I fed my home plants from the five gallon bucket. I listened to This week with Polly and Mary. William called. Chris came home from work.

I went to the garden and fed the plants from the five gallon bucket. I also pulled some weeds. When I got back, I made my evening drink and we watched two episodes of Quantum Leap. Then I posed to my blog and read more e-mail before going to bed.
