First appt at the swap shop

Wednesday I got up at 7:30. I drank water, brushed and swished. I got out the coffee maker, made coffee, and did special exercises. I read for half an hour by the Happylight, then filled the next hours with meditation and detox.

I went to the garden to pull the sheets off the plants so they could get some sun. I came back and cleaned the kitchen and bathrooms. I mopped the floors and did some vacuuming. I watered the plants and set the gopher traps. I walked around the block to pick up dog dukey. I walked to the post office to check the mail. I jotted notes for my blog while the router initialized.

At 3 I went to the Swap shop to meet a family who wanted to get toys for their kids. Very energetic kids. While they looked, I cleaned sticky stuff off the glass door with acetone, but it took a lot of elbow grease. Sgt King came with a load of winter coats someone wanted donated. The lady helped me go through the coats looking for rips and stains. She carried a bunch out to the dumpster. I took some home to mend and wash. I mended the lining of one coat, and threw the coats and my handbag in the washer to get the dog hair off. I mended colonel's hat and put it on Chris' desk.

I checked the traps one last time, then went to the garden to pick like it was the last time. I covered the plants back up with the sheets. Diane and I went walking around the block. It was cold and a little windy. I figured Chris was at the campfire in the RV park, but it was too cold for that in my opinion. I went home, and moved some plants closer to the house. I listened to interviews until Chris came home from the campfire. Then I made tea and we watched one episode of Person of Interest. I posted to my blog and read for 15 minutes, then went to bed with headphones. I woke up in the middle of the night with the headphones still on and I took them off.

Celebrating their contributions

Tuesday I got up late. I read outside in my bare feet. I watered the outdoor plants. As I was looking out the back window, I spied a new gopher mound. Then I realized there was a smaller one beside it, in progress! Needless to say, I went out and dealt with both. I found some in the front as well. I set traps and buried dog droppings to deter them.

I turned on my phone and the router. I read e-mail while sipping lemon water. My music buddy canceled our playdate due to a favor she was doing for a new family. Chris came to pick me up for the going-away luncheon. I quickly redressed and put on shoes. On the way we stopped at the post office to drop off some checks.

Not many people were there when we arrived at the ACS building. Tables and chairs were set up outside, even though it was a little windy. I talked to Rebecca, who is retiring at the end of this week. I spoked to others as well and then got in line. We had barbeque, potato salad and baked beans. I ate outside with Johnnie and asked her to water my plants at home while we are gone. Chris came and ate too. Rusty came by with brisket and then with marshmallow salad. After a while, there was an awards ceremony which Chris presided over, for both Rusty and Rebecca. I talked to Rusty and then Chris dropped me off at the post office. I mailed a manilla packet with estate papers, then walked home.

I deleted e-mail and listened to various people talk about mandates and such. I canceled the Vanco account as requested. I listened to a presentation about Sweden's covid response compared to the rest of the world. Injections are not being given properly. Some are inadvertantly intravenous instead of intramuscular.

I read more articles, looked into making HOCL. I also looked into fermenting tomatoes. I made a brine, and covered tomatoes, zucchini and garlic in a jar. I added a probiotic, then put it in the pantry to ferment.

I went to the garden with extra sheets and large rocks. I picked a few cherry tomatoes and covered the plants. I saw Jenni there, but she left pretty quickly so I don't think she saw me. I came home, put more rocks in the car, and put supper in the oven, When it came out, I started eating, but then the doorbell rang. It was Jenni, bringing me a prayer list from IHOP, International House of Prayer.

After she left, I ate supper. I listened to two women talk to Dr. Gold. I made tea. About 9 Chris came home from something at the capitol building in SLC. He changed clothes and asked me to dig a spine out of his big toe with a needle. Then we watched one episode of Person of Interest. When Taps played, I played along. I posted to my blog and read for half an hour with headphones on, then went to bed.

More for my mending pile

Monday: I got up at 7:45. I took charcoal capsules and brushed my teeth. I read by the Happylight. I emptied the dishwasher and paired up the jars with their lids. I turned on the router and checked e-mail. Dr. Scott Atlas said recovered immunity lasts longer than immunity from the shot. Kids should not be vaccinated to protect adults. Varients are more infectious but less deadly. The number of dead divided by # of cases is lower than last year. Waning antibodies does not necessarily mean lowered immunity. Vaccines do offer some protection against infection and deaths in adults, but this has not been shown for kids. 'waning protection' should not be evaluated based on antibody count. Children do not significantly spread disease, according to studies all over the world. He is not in favor of doing clinical trials on the under 5 group. The scientific process is all about debate. Lockdowns created a health care crisis. Minorities represent a greater proportion of essential workers, so more likely to be naturally immune, did not have the luxury of working at home, therefore mandates are racist. The vaccinated should be protected whether or not the next person is not. If you are vaccinated, you are protected. 94% of high risk people have been vaccinated. Shocked that some doctors suggest denying health care to unvaccinated people.

I watered the plants and some gopher holes, too. I found a gopher caught in one of the traps. I tried to free it without touching it, but that was not possible. At least it was dead. I made breakfast. Chris came home for lunch while I was eating. I watched a video on nurses killing people in Nazi Germany, convinced they were doing a good thing and putting people out of their misery. I checked e-mail and listened to interviews on corona topics. I did some tapping for not wanting to look at paperwork, then made copies of the document Faye send and wrote checks. I got everything ready to mail.

Chris came home from commissary with two bottles of wine and went to see the Colonel to drop them off for Thursday night. He came back with the colonel's hat which needed mending.

I went to the garden. I picked my tomatoes and some of Rusty's because he had pulled out all his plants so green tomatoes were lying all over the ground. Jenni showed up and we went walking. She gave a bag back to the Lands and had some snacks in it. Then we walked around and back to the garden. She went home and I watered the squash, then went home.

I read e-mail and listened to some stuff. Then I made tea and we watched Person of Interest. At 10 aftr 10, I realized Taps had not played. So I picked up my trombone and started playing. Then the loud speaker system played along with me. I posted to my blog and watched an interview with Larry Elder. Then I read for awhile and went to bed.

* Chris got an award for solving some big problem. I think they gave it to him on Thursday. *

No gaming with the voices

Sunday: We got up at 8:30. I brushed, then checked e-mail and resumed a video from yesterday. I washed breakfast dishes from yesterday. I cleaned up the countertops and made lemon water. Then I washed up and got dressed for church.

We arrived at the chapel and put on masks. I ran to the restroom, then sat in my seat as the countdown proceeded to 0. The chaplain started the service, streamed to Facebook. We sang songs, had a sermon, and sang one last song. Afterward, we chatted with people walking out of the church.

I changed clothes and made breakfast. I thought Chris was going to game with the voices, but two were missing so they canceled for today. I checked e-mail and listened to interviews. Low doses of purified nictotine reverses alzheimers. Dr. Seneff said mRNA in shots have more ability to produce spike protein than the wild virus does. The affected cell sees it as a human protein so it doesn't shut production down. The spike protein is the most toxic part of the virus. The shots are very successful at getting the body to produce antibodies. But the body is desperate to get rid of spike proteins. They end up all over the body, esp spleen and ovaries. Vaccine-induced antibodies are super high at the beginning (10x), but reduce greatly over a few months. The FDA approved a version of the shot that isn't out yet.

I called Michele because she didn't game today. She was having back pain. I dug up some gopher mounds, then watered lawn and stuff. I added the leftover vermicompost to the flower bed and compost pile. I turned that over to mix. I put ground beef in the toaster oven and made a salad. William called while I was eating supper. He talked about moving furniture around in Dad's house.

I left early for the garden, but ran into Rusty and his wife taking a walk. He talked to me for 10 minutes. He said I could have green tomatoes left in his garden. So I got to the garden a minute late. Diane and Jenni were waiting for me. We went walking and talking. We compared vaccine stories we had experienced or heard about. They shared clues that certain children were hungry. Jenni gave me tomatoes that someone gave her. I went home and told Chris that certain kids might be hungry. I made tea and took off my walking shoes and jotted notes. Then I made tea and we watched Person of Interest. Then I posted to my blog, read a book for half an hour, then went to bed.

A shortage of distilled water?

Saturday: We slept in late. Chris turned on the router so I started reading e-mail. Then I watched videos while piecing puzzles. Midmorning, somebody called which interrupted me. Then I asked Chris for a coconut oil massage. Afterward, he showered while I started breakfast, then I showered and dressed.

I ate breakfast while checking Facebook. A lady from post messaged me asking for a wreath class. I stopped by Johnnie's house for just a few minutes to drop off some cherry tomatoes and the black ties that Chris borrowed. (I can't believe he doesn't have one of his own). Then Chris packed the cooler and we headed to Tooele.

I fell asleep on the way to Tooele, but woke up before we got there. I had to ask Chris what happened in the story on CD while I was out. Then we shopped at Luckeys. They did not have distilled water. We went to the farm stand and I got some beets. Then I went to Melanie's, and finally Cal Ranch for pruners. Our last stop was Maceys' and they did not have distilled water either. We headed back to base.

Chris stopped at the commissary, but again, no distilled water. He also stopped at the post office. I found two packages waiting. I thought one was from Faye, but it had a different name on it. We went home, and put food away. I cut up the watermelon from last week and put most of the pieces in a plastic tub. I ate the rest and sliced up the rind for the compost pile. I made a salad, and listened to an interview with a Marine officer. He says the vaccine is mandated, but Comirnaty (the approved vaccine) will not be available until 2023 so the mandate is illegal. Religious exemptions are being denied. Mandate is illegal, immoral and unconstitutional. He is part of a group pursuing legal action.

I drove to the garden a few minutes early, but Diane was already there. Jenni wasn't, so I picked ripening tomatoes and gave the bag to Diane. Then the two of us went walking, chatting as we went. We passed Jenni's house, but she didn't come out. So when we got back to the garden, Diane went home. I stayed to fertilize the plants, then drove home. I watered the plants in the flowerbed, then went inside. I listened to Stew Peters interview, then made tea and watched Person of Interest with Chris. I looked at Biden memes way too long, then posted to my blog. I read a book and went to bed.

So many books, so little time

Friday: I got up around 8, having slept fairly well. I brushed and swished. I checked e-mail. I made seed crackers. Michele called to ask about the mileage on the Oldsmobile. I called William and then Kurt, then reported back to Michele. I went to the garden to remove the sheets from the tomato and squash plants. Chris left to get his car and go to the funeral for Curt.

I laid out in the sun to take my vitamins and sip bone broth. I ate breakfast while reading e-mail. I put on my suit and tried laying outside again, but the bugs drove me in. I posted to my blog for Wednesday. At 2 I entered a zoom call with Vicki. The call lasted 45 minutes, and there was nothing we couldn't have said in a quick e-mail.

I called Johnnie to see if it was a good time to come over. She said yes, so I put on shoes and grabbed my ahjima cart. When I got there, she was standing outside to shoo away the birds which had built a nest over her door. She guided me to her diningroom table which was covered in stacks of quilt books which she was downsizing. She said Jenni had already been there and taken 100 books. Then Johnnie sat and stitched hexagons as I looked through the books. William and Kurt each called once.

Around 6:30 I finished choosing books (no more than 50) and loaded them in my rolly cart. I thanked her and walked home. Chris was home already. I ate some leftovers from the fridge, then put on walking shoes and went to the garden. Diane had just gotten there. So she and I walked around the block. As we passed Jenni's house, she came out to walk. We walked back to the garden. Diane went home. I got a jacket out of my car and walked around the block again with Jenni. She went home and I put some fertilizer in the milk jugs at the garden. Then I went home, too.

I got back about 8. I made tea and put away the seed crackers. Then we watched the last episode of Dr. Blake and the first one of the next season of Person of Interest. Afterwared, I listened to the rest of an interview with Dr. Peter Mccullough. Then I jotted some notes for today and wrote up yesterdays events.

Dugway Fest

Thursday: I got up about 8. I made lemon water and drank it at intervals. I turned on the router and checked e-mail. I read that 20% of people who are vaccinated and then get covid, will end up with long-haul covid. Around 11 I went to the garden to remove the sheets and pick ripening cherry tomatoes. I also watered, even though the water should have run recently.

Chris came home for lunch while I was making breakfast. I watched The Highwire: he interviewed firefighters in NY who don't want to be fired for not getting the shot. There was no working from home for them in 2020, but now they will lose their jobs if they don't get vaccinated. A few years ago, Peter Daszak applied to DARPA for funding research into infecting bats with coronavirus, but DARPA turned him down because the proposal did not include a risk mitigation plan for GoF research. Cancer doctors are seeing their patients come out of remission after getting jabbed. Mrna is downregulating TLRs (toll-like recpetors) which keep latent viruses under control. Some people are getting shingles after the shot.

I whipped up a batch of cheese sticks. I was reading e-mail when William called. As I was talking to him, Jenni texted me from Dugway Fest. I replied that I was waiting for Chris. But then I got a text from Chris, also at Dugway fest as one of the Iron Chef judges. So I drove over there, sporting a bad attitude because I could have been there earlier had I known he was going without me.

Since he was busy, I talked to other people, like Johnnie who invited me over to look through her quilt books tomorrow. I also sat with Jenni and Heather for a bit, then moved to Saronna's table. Chris brought me small portions of the food he was judging. My bad attitude dissipated. After the judging, Chris announced the results and CSM handed out prizes. Then Chris and I got in my car and went up the hill to the Colonel's house.

At the commander's house, he was serving pizza and salad. I got one slice of the vegetarian pizza. I sat at the table beside Eileen and we chatted. But then she leftt and I just listened to important men talk for over an hour. The colonel said that Dugway is the future of the army. I wasn't sure what that meant, but being secluded in the desert 100 miles from the nearest town is not a future I would wish on others. When we said our goodbyes and got to my car, Chris found a bag of dog poo that Eileen graciously left for me. He put it in the trunk and we went home.

We watched one episode of Dr. Blake and I dozed off. Then we went to bed, and no blogposting happened.

The campfire

Wednesday: I got up about 8, never hearing the alarm go off. I brushed and swished and took charcoal capsules. The test of the emergency warning system came early for some reason. Usually it is at 4. I turned on the CD player, and performed special exercises. Kurt started texting me about the car. I performed my special exercises, then meditated for an hour or so. I cleaned the bathrooms and kitchen. Finally I took a shower, and got dressed. I watered the plants, then read e-mail: Children have a very low expression of the ACE2 receptor. Along with previous exposure to corona viruses, they are effectively immune. Do not vaccinate them.

I walked to the post office to get the mail and put up the new Swap Shop sign. I got back before Retreat played and I was able to play with it. After Chris came home, I remembered to go to the library. When I got there, lots of cars were in the parking lot. I speculated that the PTSO was meeting in the ACS room. So I tiptoed past it to the library. But in fact, they were at the back of the library. I went to the DVD room to get the next season. Melissa found me there and struck up a conversation. I also got a book, checked it out, then snuck out of the library before anyone could invite me to the meeting.

Later, I walked to garden. Jenni arrived just as I did, coming from the PTSO meeting which broke up when the library closed at 7. We walked around the block. Then I picked ripening tomatoes and replaced the sheets over them.

I walked to the campsite where Chris was sitting with the group that invited us. The lady whose lot it was had everyone stand up and introduce themselves. Thankfully there was not a quiz afterward. I sat and watched the fire, listening to people talk, often about work. Chris was checking messages, which was a little distracting. But one of the group explained to me that Chris' job was like being hit by 200 things every hour and trying to keep it all running smoothly.

We went home in Chris' car. I put the tomatoes on the window sill. Chris went back for my coat, which I hadn't realized. Chris had brought there. I made tea and we watched one episode of Dr. Blake. I brushed teeth and checked e-mail. I wrote notes for today's post. I watched a video, the paused to post for yesterday.

No potatoes after all that work

Tuesday: I got up around 8, having slept pretty well. The house was cold, so I turned on the heat. I took 5 capsules of charcoal, then read beside the Happylight. I turned on the router. I listened to James Corbett as I researched how to ferment turmeric. I made breakfast. Chris came home with a printed swap shop flyer for me. I ate and read e-mail, I dug up gopher mound and used up the last of the dog poo. I pounded up charcoal and put it in a bucket to soak.

I went to the garden to dig up sweet potatoes, but there were no potatoes under the ground. I trimmed off frozen parts of tomato plants. I went home for sheets and covered the tomato patch and the squash plants. I wished I had done it two nights ago.

At 4:30 I walked to the swap shop to put up a new flyer. But the old flyer was taped to the inside of the glass door and I hadn't the key to open it. So I walked home again, and put the key in the bag with the new flyer. Then I sat at my laptop and searched for the Zoom link for the quilt guild meeting. When I found it, the password did not work and I had to search messages to find the new one. But finally I was in. A woman from Canada who sounded Australian talked about a mini block swap. Then we had our regular business meeting and show-n-tell. Afterward, I chatted with two ladies and then the session was over.

Chris had come home and cooked ground beef and rice. I put some in a bowl with cheese. I started watching a video on stress when Jenni texted me that she was at the garden. So I threw on my shoes and drove over there. Diane walked up as I arrived. We walked around the block, talking as usual. Then I walked Diane to her street. I had intended to walk down to the pear and apple trees, but it was getting dark so I walked back to my car and drove there. I chose one apple and one pear. They were quite small. Then I went home.

I read e-mail for a bit, then made tea. We watched two episodes of Dr. Blake Mysteries. Then I brushed my teeth and wrote my blog post. I read from a book while listening to the mp3 headphones, then went to bed.

The cold takes its toll

Monday: I got up at 7:30. It was too cold to read outside. I drank water and took a handful of activated charcoal. I mended three socks. Chris had also left a pair of pants in my sewing room, but I could find nothing wrong with them. I wrote a check, and made a flyer for the swap shop. I turned on the router and made lemon water. I read e-mail and articles. I read about adding ammonia to wood chips to help them break down, but could not determine what percent solution to make.

Chris came home for lunch. He brought me a small package. I opened it to find a piece of the old Reber cemetery wall and a thumb drive. Sadly the drive was empty. I ate breakfast, then read articles, etc.

I took a midafternoon break to walk to the library to return some materials, and drop off an envelope at the post office. When I got back, there was more to read and watch. By 5:30, Chris had not come home. I fixed some supper for me. Then I scooped out charcoal from a bucket it was soaking in on the back porch. I put the bucket in my car, along with a rake. Chris came home right then. He could find nothing wrong with the pants either.

I arrived at the garden early. It was disheartening to see the toll the cold night had taken on all but the mint. I tried to rake aside the woodchips, but the weedy vines were in the way. I had to pull them out in an area, then rake away the wood chips. I poured on the biochar, and covered it up. I started collecting cherry tomatoes that were starting to turn. Jenni arrived on foot. I finished up while she checked her garden. Then we went for our usual walk. We stopped to talk to a man walking his dog. When we got to her house, she went in. I continued on to my car. It was windy so I just drove home.

I made tea and left it in the livingroom. I read e-mail until Chris was ready, then we watched two episodes of Dr. Blake Mysteries. I brushed my teeth and sat down to write my blog. I checked the latest e-mail after that, then read for a bit while wearing the headphones. Then I went to bed.

The sewing machine - so fleeting

I heard my alarm go off at 7:30, but ignored it. I got up later, surprised that Chris stayed in bed. I read outside for half an hour and he was up when I came in. I read e-mail until time to get ready for church. I washed up and got dressed. I watered the plants outside. Then Chris drove us to the chapel.

The chaplain was out of town, but he left a recording of his sermon. The assistant made opening remarks, the guitar player played three hymns, we watched the recording, then sang one more hymn. After the service, Johnnie told me she was downsizing and to come over some time to go through the quilt books that she was going to donate to the Tooele guild. After some discussion, Chris came over to signal it was time to leave (as everyone else had left). So we drove home while Johnnie walked home.

I changed clothes, then made and ate breakfast. I started a loaf of bread on the dough setting. I read e-mail until 1:45. I watered more plants, then went to see a lady who was selling her sewing machine. She lives near Diane who wants a sewing machine. The lady explained to me that it worked fine until she took it to SLC to get cleaned. After that, it was not good. I had my kit, so I pulled out thread and fabric and tried to sew. The handwheel got stuck, but that was solved by moving the bobbin winder. Still, there were tight spots and tension was spotty, and it sounded squeeky. I took the bobbin area apart but saw nothing. The screws in the needle plate were so tight I could not remove them. There was no way to take the top off. After much consideration, I offered her $20 and she took it.

I texted Diane that it wasn't quite right and I had paid $20. She texted back that she would pay that. I asked for time to play with it. I brought the machine home and looked it up online. One video showed a man loosening a hex set screw. Lots of people commented that that solved their problem. I took the bottom off to expose the hex screw, but did not want to chase down my hex wrenches. Also, changing the needle helped a lot with tension problems. So I put a spool of thread on it, sewed a nice line on scrap fabric, and left it under the needle. Then I packed it back in its case.

I read e-mail and watched some videos of evidence presented to the FDA committee on covid injury numbers vs vaccine injury numbers. For every life saved by the vaccines, 2 or more are taken. One man spoke about how there were no covid deaths at the nursing home he works at, but after vaccination, there were lots of cases, deterioration and death. I spent some time figuring out how the vaccination rate of 90 year olds could go down in Israel; how many vaccinated people must have died for the unvaxxed rate to go from 5.6% to 17.1%.

I realized the bread machine had stopped. The dough had risen quite a bit. I added nuts, cinnamon and raisins, then started it on the loaf setting. I considered going outside. Chris came back from the office. Because of the wind and chill, he wanted to close the windows and turn the HVAC system on. (It has been off for a month or more). He also brought in the potato plants because the low will be 38. Brrr!

After supper, I drove to the garden. Diane and Jenni and I arrived at the same time. We walked around the block, conversing. Then Jenni went home. Diane and I picked pumpkins from the previous commander's patch. She carried them to my car. I drove to her house. She took one pumpkin and the sewing machine. I went home and got Chris to get the pumpkin from from the car. I made tea and sent Jenni a pic of a dresden plate quilt. Then we watched the remaining three episodes of Person of Interest. I posted to my blog then read with the mp3 headphones on. I think I fell asleep pretty quickly after that.

* How many people actually read what they signed when they got the shot? *

One of the many duties of the garrison manager

I made lemon water, then checked e-mail. Chris gave me a coconut oil massage. While he took his shower, I made a pattern from my apron and threw it in the wash. Then I took a shower, and got dressed.

While I made breakfast, I listened to a presentation by Dr. Peter McCullough talking about the pandemic and how early treatment is discouraged, any kind of treatment was disparaged in favor of vaccines. Spike proteins have been found in the body 9 months after injection. There are no independent safety committies. The spike protein itself is deadly, as designed in the Wuhan gain-of-function lab. The injections are different and our agencies should be telling us which ones are safest and most effective for each age group. Moderna has 3x the dose of Pfizer. Mother Nature is mutating the virus to be less injurious although more infectious. Delta is mutating rapidly to avoid the antibodies from the vaccines. 80% of monoclonal antibody doses are going unused because few people know about them. Covid is easy to treat early, but far more difficult in the hospital.

Chris put two sewing machines in my car and after breakfast, we went to the chapel to set up for class. Diane arrived before I finished setting up. I got her started and the family with 4 kids arrived. The dad came as well, working on lining a cloak for his wife. The girls did not do great with cutting and sewing their straps, so I went behind them and evened things up a bit, spending lots of time with the seam ripper. Jenni and Diane worked with minimal supervision, tying up the sewing machines. So the girls did not finish by 4. They packed up and went home. Jenni helped me tidy up and pack up. We left together, about 4:30.

When I got home, Chris took the machines out of my trunk. I dug up a gopher hole, but could not find the tunnel to lay a trap. I finished listening to the presentation from earlier. Someone on the Dugway facebook page was selling a sewing machine. So I made an appt to go see it, thinking we could use another machine for class.

I started making up supplement doses for the next two weeks. I paused at 7 to go to the garden where I met Jenni and Diane. We went for our usual walk. But we stopped when we found a snake in the road. I called Chris who came over and relocated it. Then we finished our walk. I fertilized my garden and drove home.

I cut up a cucumber and made a salad. I ate it while looking at e-mail. I finished parsing out supplements, then made tea. We watched two episodes, then dressed the bed with clean sheets. I posted to my blog, read a few pages, and retired for the night.

The haircut

Friday:I got up about 8:30, hearing Chris talk to someone about a man who died unexpectedly on post last night. I made a quart of lemon water. Chris went to the office. I read e-mail all morning while drinking the quart of lemon water. Then I watered the plants. At 11 I drove to the swap shop. I picked up the mail. I did not see Diane so I went home. I found my phone and it had messages from her. I called her and we figured out what happened.

I made and ate breakfast. Chris came home, ate pizza and packed the cooler. We headed for Tooele. I called Great Clips to get on the waiting list, but the lady said I had to check in online. I figured she didn't know how. So when we got to Tooele, I called again, but got the same answer. We shopped at Luckey's, then went to the farmer's market where I got a watermelon. Then, while I went to Melanie's, Chris used his phone to get on the Great Clips website and enter my name. When we got to Macey's, I got a text about a 15 minute wait time. We shopped, then I walked over to the salon and waited for my turn. I asked the man about the no-call policy and he said it came from corporate headquarters. I made a note to let them know how I felt about it. Then the lady called me back and cut my hair. I paid and found Chris in the parking lot. We headed back to Dugway, listening to our new book on CD.

After supper, I walked to the garden, where I met Jenni. We walked around the block. Then I got some cucumbers and salad greens from her garden, and cherry tomatoes from mine. She gave me a ride home. I found Chris had cooked mushrooms for me, so I ate some and put the rest away. Then I listened to something online. I made tea and we watched two episodes of Person of Interest.

I brushed my teeth and posted to my blog, then read and went to bed.

Car wash

I woke up to the sound of Reveille. Then I heard Chris take a shower and go to work. I got up at 7:30. I read outside for half an hour. It was a new book because I finished the old book last night, making it a very late night. I cut up the last avocado so it could soften enough to eat later. I listened to an interview: Kidney foods: parsely, cilantro, watermelon.

I took a break to water the plants outside. I ate the avocado, then made breakfast. Chris came home for lunch with a pizza. But he didn't stay long. I watched The Highwire: studies show natural immunity lasts longer than vaccine-induced immunity. Not enough hospital beds due to lack of staff to care for them. Considering the increased risk of myocarditis after second dose, what will a third dose bring? Hospitalist PA said patients on full blood thinners still got blood clots after vaccination. There are reports of pneumonia in the summer, and of elderly passing out the night after vaccination. Few of her colleagues know about VAERS or how to report incidents.

Faye called to talk about her appointment with the commissioner. I started listening to This Week with Polly and Mary. Then I paused it to go to the car wash. I got there at 4 and waited in line to get my car washed. I gave them $20. The kids descended on my car like ants on sugar, covering it with soap and water. Actually, the kids did a reasonable job. I parked the clean car in the lot nearby, then came back to help. But the kids did not do such a great job on other vehicles. I helped when I could, but there were too many kids. Diane showed up at 5. I stayed to talk to her and we made plans to meet at the swap shop tomorrow.

At six, we finished up the cars and went home. I ate leftover for supper and listened to an interview. Then I went to the garden to water and meet Jenni. We walked around the block and back to the garden. I went home, and finished the interview: a funeral director in the UK said 2020 was quieter than 2019, but the death rate went up after vaccination started. Vaccine damage is being labeled as the delta variant.

I researched and ordered a nebulizer, but not from Amazon. I posted about the apron class to two Dugway Facebook pages. I listened to episode 12 of Covid Secrets: ingredients in the EUA vaccines has been changing. Manufacturers can do that under EUA, but once it is approved, then the formulation must remain constant. Moderna had two patented ingredients in December, but now they have 7. CDC is warning hospitals of a polio-like disease outbreak in children between now and November.

It got late. Chris came home and soon went to bed. He was late due to a meeting in Tooele, then visiting the family of an employee that died on his way home from work, apparently from a heart attack. I read a few pages, then went to bed myself.

Fruit trees

I woke up from a strange dream where I threw soup at a Korean shop because they gave me a cup of dried noodles, which was not what I ordered. But the dried noodles were wet when they landed. There were lots of parts that didn't make sense in the light of morning.

I made coffee, exercised and had meditation morning. I tapped on Dad issues. I watered the plants. I cleaned the bathrooms and kitchen, then vaccuumed. Chris came home for a late lunch, then plumber came. He put a new handle on the toilet. It wasn't broken per se, but the rod kept falling off.

I went to see Rusty to talk about VMIS. I filled out a volunteer form while he went somewhere, then waited half an hour for him to come back. I went from there to the library to get the next season of Dr. Blake. I drove home and had supper.

I met Diane at the garden. I had to walk/run to get there by 7. We walked down by the apple tree and pear tree to check them out. We got a few pieces of small fruit. The trees needed watering. Then we went down a u-shaped trail where houses used to be, then up around the edge of the village and back to the garden. She took pics while I watered my garden. Then we agreed to meet at the carwash tomorrow.

I walked home, avoiding 5th avenue because there seemed to be something going on. When I got home, everything was dark. I called Chris and found he was at the thing going on because someone invited him. (So I should have walked that way. ) I made tea and jotted notes for my blog while waiting for him to come home. He brought me a piece of pie that they sent home with him.

We chatted a bit, then settled down to watch Person of Interest. Then Faye called, so she and I discussed estate matters. Then Chris and I went back to watching TV. But there was no time for a second episode. Chris gave me a sock with a hole in it. I ran it through my sewing machine to close it up and he said that was ok. Then I wrote up my blog post, before finishing my book, then went to sleep.

Town Hall

I got up at 8:20, having slept pretty well. I made lemon water, and put the seed crackers away (they were still in the oven). it was cool outside so I put off watering the plants until later. I had soaked a stained cloth overnight. I rinsed it out and soaked it again. I read online about using 30% vinegar. I checked e-mail and watched a presentation on breathwork.

I watered the plants, I sunbathed, then started breakfast. Chris came home from work. He needed a new rubber gripper for his mask so I got one out of the mask bag.

I ate breakfast and listened to videos as I pieced puzzles. I found a message from the plumber asking to set up an appointment. So I called them and did that. Then I realized it was after 1:30. So I threw on some shoes, packed up my trombone and flew over to Saronna's house. She had concluded that I wasn't coming. But then she picked up and made room for us to play. We played a little, the baby got hungry so she had to feed him, then we talked and played some more. Finally I packed up and went home when the kids got out of school.

I had a bite to eat and listened to a report on the changing definitions of vaccines and immunity. I read e-mail articles for awhile. Then around 5, I went out to pick up sticks and put them on a pile on the empty lot next door. Chris came home while I was outside and told me that the townhall seating was bleachers, and did I still want to go? Well, in that case, no. Later I called Jenni and she told me to come and sit in a lawn chair. But Chris said no because the chairs there were not politically correct. Anyway, he had to rush off. I told Jenni to call me after it was over if she wanted to walk.

I had a bite to eat and read e-mail until after 7:30. Then I went to the garden to fertilize the plants and pick cherry tomatoes. I figured that Jenni was not going to call. Not long after I got back, Chris came home. He said it went well, but long. We talked for a bit. We checked the washing machine because it smelled weird. I sprayed some cleaner with bleach into the hose.

Then I made tea and we watched two episodes of Person of Interest. I went back to my e-mail, then posted to my blog, read a book, and went to bed.

Green light for the swap shop

Monday:

It was a long night. After getting up to pee, the RLS symptoms came on. I drank some water with magnesium and for some reason, that made it worse. I got up after 8:30, never hearing the alarm. I made lemon water, I watered the grass and plants, I emptied and crushed the milk jug that was leaking water.

I put bleach in the washer to clean the tub. Later there was still liquid in the holder. I sopped it out, and put in vinegar in holder as well as in the tub. I put on my oldest suit and went sunbathing on the back porch. Then I changed back into regular clothes and made breakfast. Chris came home for lunch and told me the Swap Shop was a go, without restrictions.

I read e-mail: In an article published several years ago, Dr. Fauci revealed that he takes 1000mg of vitamin C every day for his immune system. 200mg vit C given to elderly in the hospital for pnemonia prevents death by 80%. Chinese used vit C for covid patients, but that info was deleted soon after being published. Niacin and vit C repair DNA damage, and was used in Fukushima.

CJ brought me four dozen eggs. I paid her, then took two dozen to Diane. We chatted briefly, then I went home. I looked online at nebulizers. I did not know how to pick a good one. I raked up sticks in the side yard and left them in two piles. Five o'clock came and went, but Retreat did not play. I checked the gopher traps, then went inside. I had a bite to eat. Chris came home from work late. He asked if I meant to leave the eggs out. I did not have a place to put them, so I used the last three eggs of a previous box to make seed crackers. Then there was room in the fridge for the new eggs.

I put on walking shoes, then jumped in the car and drove to the garden. I watered the plants and added fertilizer for tomorrow. Jenni came by and we walked around the block, stopping to talk to a lady with two dogs. Jenni and I discussed opening the Swap Shop, then I walked back to my car and went home. The seed crackers were done so I turned off the oven. I made tea and we watched two shows. Then I sat down to write my blog post, and read a book, then go to bed.

* How come he's not saying anything about vitamin C now? *

Sunday

I got up about 9. My back hurt from sitting on the bleachers last night. I made lemon water and fertilized the outdoor plants. I read e-mail for awhile, then Chris gave me a coconut oil massage. He took his shower first, and then I took mine. After I got dressed, we went to the chapel.

The sermon was about David and Jonathan. After the service, Diane gave me money for the eggs I ordered. We talked for awhile, then headed home. Chris stopped at the gas station to put air in his tires. When we got home, I made and ate breakfast. Chris did not game with the voices.

I listened to interviews. I took a break to put pickled eggs in a smaller container. I added hardboiled eggs from yesterday to the juice. I cut up a pineapple and put the top in water. I dug up gopher mounds and set the traps.

After more listening, I took another break to water the side yard. Then I came in for supper, and ate the last piece of cheese stick. Then I went to garden to fix the hose. Before I could turn it on, Diane arrived, then Jenni. So we walked around the block, talking. When we got back, we picked from Jenni's garden. She got a lot of tomatoes. I went back to water mine. The hose patch seemed to be holding. There was nothing to pick.

I came home, made tea, and we watched two episodes of Person of Interest. I fell asleep on the couch. I got up to brush my teeth and sit at my laptop to post to my blog and read a few more e-mails.

9/11 Memorial

I got up about 8 hearing rain and wanting to check my car windows. I made lemon water. I checked e-mail and read articles. When I was about ready to make breakfast, Chris wanted to have a discussion. It went on for some time. But after that, I was able to have my meal.

But it put me off schedule. Chris wanted to leave at 4:30 for the 9/11 memorial in Grantsville. There would be no time for supper, so he asked if the chaplain and his wife would take me along when they left at 6:30. That worked much better for me.

I listened to several interviews and mowed here and there as needed. went to garden to fertilize. I saw a large hole in the soaker hose. Digging where the gophers had been, there were no potatoes. I went home, threw some plastic and tape in my car, then took a quick shower. I got dressed and had a bite for supper. Then I listened to Dr. Levy talk about vitamin C.

I locked the front door. I watered the outside plants. I sat down on a small bench, but not for long. They came in their truck and I got into the back seat of the crew cab. Eileen had her phone on GPS and we chatted as he drove, following her instructions. At first we were headed to SLC, but then turned off the main road and went through small neighborhoods and farms, finally arriving at Deseret Peak. But we couldn't find Chris. Turns out he was at the other end, where the speedway was. We parked and walked to the grandstand where we ran into Chris. The chaplain went toward the bandstand where the event would take place.

We sat with Eileen in the stands and waited for the show to begin. It started late because lighting was an afterthought. Once a brace of lights was in place, the memorial began. Men spoke, the chaplain prayed, there was singing and bagpipe playing. When the sheriff, mayor, and both commanders were done speaking, the fireworks began. Music was played alongside. Eileen left to join her husband and they went home. We stayed until the fireworks and music were over, then found our way to the parking lot to Chris' car.

We drove home through Tooele, playing the book on CD. I tried to sleep but the twists and turns of the road made it impossible. Back on base, we stopped at the post office and picked up two packages. One was a pendant and the other was supplements from Swansons. Then I sat at my laptop to blog. Later, I read a few pages, then retired for the night.

Chatting with Myra

I got up about 9. I made lemon water, and watered all the plants and some of the grass. I listened to Polly and Mary: Officials at FDA are resigning because Biden is pushing booster shots that they have not approved. Pfizer is starting production of 2x/day pills to be taken (along with the vaccine) at the first sign of infection, even though the drug is still investigational. They are expecting the pills to be mandated. Tony Blair as part of Global Heath Security System is pushing an international vaccine certification system to replace domestic ones. Australia is testing an app that texts returning travelers at random times and gives them 15 minutes to take a pic of their face in the place where they are supposed to be quarentining. California judge dismissed jurors who were not vaccinated. Walkout Week starts next week to protest unnecessarily restrictive mandates in schools. Some US hotels are requiring proof of vaccination for staff and guests. Two military members filed a lawsuit against DOD, FDA, and HHS on behalf of 220,000 active service who are being forced to get vaccinated despite having recovered from covid. Using remdedsivir, dexamethazone, and vancomycin leads to kidney failure. Do not let hospital give palliative care if you want your loved one to live. Morphine interferes with heart and lung function. Get your loved one out of the hospital if they are treating in a manner you (or loved one) don't want. FEMA has billion dollars set aside for covid burials, but few people apply for Covid-19 Funeral Assistance. Flu shots can cause acute flaccid myelitis in children. Patient advocate told how to fight for loved one in the hospital, detailing chain of command during the day, at night, and on weekends. Patient has a right to visitors, or turn the doctor in to the medical board for abuse. Nurse says in her hospital, they have no test for the delta variant. Those patients look more like vaccine injured than covid.

I drove to the garden and picked orange tomatoes. I stopped at the post office to check the mail and ask about a package. When I got home, I made breakfast. Afterward, I made a shopping list. Chris packed the cooler and we headed to Tooele. On the way, Myra called. It was good to hear from her, but the phone lost connection in the mountain pass. I called her back on the other side.

We shopped at Luckey's, then the farm stand. I got tomatoes but the young clerk did not know if the peaches had been sprayed. Chris took me to Melanies, then Macey's. We listened to the new book on CD o n the way home. Chris stopped at the shoppette for beer. I called Faye from parking lot, and talked to her through unloading groceries and checking online. Chris made fish for me for supper. After eating, I put some cheese stick in Jenni's jar. Then I drove to her house and we went walking. I gave her jar back. We got rained on for all of 10 seconds. When I got home, I tried to mow but the grass was wet. I listened to another interview, then made a salad from tomatoes and sprouts. I heated tea, and we watched TV. Later I read e-mail before posting to my blog. Then I read a book for a bit, then turned in even though Chris was still up.

It passed inspection

I got up about 8. I made lemon water, and watered the plants. I picked sprouts from the compost and the flowerbed. I washed them and left them to soak. I put a pad on the Swiffer (left at the vacant house) and used it with water instead of the solution it came with. That worked ok. Still not sure I want to keep it. I put lemon juice on the remaining kimchi stain. I looked up acetone to find out why they had so much of it and left it behind. A video explained that you can up your gas mileage with it.

Bonus video: It is not possible to make a safe vaccine. They can't eliminate retroviruses from the cells used to grow the vaccine. Cysteine, ALA and milk thistle extract can be used to reduce inflammation response. Substitute high-dose bromelain for ivermectin. Proteolytic enzymes are helpful with viruses. Heat breaks down proteins in viruses. That's what fever does. Also acids help, like ascorbic acid and hydrochloric acid and citric acid.

I filled a small spray bottle with hydrogen peroxide. I put two cloths in my fanny pack and went over to the vacant house. Jamie met me there. I swept out the trash can. I looked through the house for any last spots. We found a spot in the garage. I sprayed it and wiped. Finally the inspection people showed up. They were fine with everything except the fridge, which the resident had cleaned. I used the other cloth to wipe it out. Then it passed. They signed the papers and I signed the papers and they left. I thanked Jamie and went to Housing to turn in the key. Housing did not ask me to sign any papers.

When I got home, I put on my suit and sunbathed for 10 minutes. I listened to some interviews: Ivermectin won Nobel Prize for treating parasites and malaria in people. Dr Robert Young found graphene oxide in all 4 covid innoculations and in flu vaccines. Pfizer had the most. I called Base Ops to fix the toilet. They called back to say the plumber would come next week. I went to the ACS center for Jenni's craft night. Melissa was just coming out of the library. She stopped to speak to me. She told me that Chris came by earlier and asked about a book on tape. So, I went in and picked one out. I guess he is tired of the one we have been listening to over and over since we left Huntsville.

I went into the ACS room and Jenni was not there, but the tables were set up. I could hear her talking to Rusty so I went back there. She came back with me to the tables and opened a card-making kit that had been donated. She laid the materials out while I read the instructions. She went home to get some markers. I realized that the rubber stamps and ink pads were not there. After she got back, Rusty came in to ask me to create an account with VMIS. Then the conversation went in other directions. About 7:30 we all went home.

Actually, I went by the garden first, to water and to check. Another sweet potato plant had been violated by the gophers. Grrr! I went home and told Chris. I ate the last corn cob. Rusty came over with two extra chicken sliders that he and his wife were making in anticipation of his going-away party. I ate one and Chris, having just eaten pizza, put his in the fridge. Then I made tea and watched more of The Highwire. Then Chris and I watched two episodes of Person of Interest. I played some music that Saronna lent me and realized it was not the song I thought it was. I brushed my teeth and finished The Highwire. Then I jotted notes for today's blog and finished up yesterday's blog.

One down

I got up around 7:30, but did not hear the alarm. I found my phone in my car, which explains that. It was 50 degrees outside, so I did not go out to water the plants. I could see that the morning sprinklers had been on. I cleared some space on the countertop. While putting a jar away, I stepped on a goat's head thorn and dropped the jar. Amazingly, it bounced on the tile floor but did not break.

I turned on the CD lineup, made coffee and did lymph-moving exercises. After meditation morning, I put the oven racks in the tub with dryer sheets and ammonia, covered in hot water. I cleaned the bathrooms and kitchen, spraying some areas to soak. Chris came home from work, ate his sandwich, then called his dad to wish him a happy birthday. I finished cleaning the kitchen. I sprayed the sink, and cleaned up other sprayed areas (like kimchi stains). I got the grunge off the master bathroom sink with a scraper. I don't know what it was and I couldn't see it, but I could feel it on the surface. I scrubbed the oven racks. Still not shiny, so I soaked them again.

I took a shower, then put the bathroom rugs in the washer. I read the list of things that the inspection team will check for. It included washing the outdoor trash cans, which were currently full. I called Jamie and she assured me it would be picked up tomorrow and the inspection team would not care if they weren't washed out. I watered the plants and some bare spots in the lawn. I walked to the garden, fertilized it, and came back. One sweet potato looks bad, maybe victim of a gopher attack.

I watched Episode 10 of Covid Secrets, all about what jabbed people can do to get their health back. There were bonus interviews which I tried to watch as much as time allowed. Chris told me he bought shredded cheese for making cheese sticks. So I whipped up a batch using all the cheese he bought (parmesan, mozzerella and cheddar). I could not find the recipe so I made it from memory. It was three batches worth. It was better than last time. I had to ask Chris to put it away before I ate it all. Then I made tea, and we watched two episodes. I brushed my teeth. I finished an audio and puzzles. Then I wrote a blog post. I read from a book and went to bed.

Busy day

I got up around 7:15. I brushed and swished and watered the plants. I washed up and got dressed. I went over to the vacant house to continue cleaning. Jamie brought over her clean burner bowls, but the large ones did not fit. I scrubbed the old ones with Soft Scrub and then with brillo pads. She swept out the garage and worked in the utility room. She had to go 10:30. I scrubbed more, always finding another spot or dog hair on the floor. Basically we did the floors and the sink and the utility room.

It was almost noon when I left, taking everything left with me. I left her burner bowls on her front porch . I went home and made breakfast. Chris came home from work for lunch. After eating, I packed my trombone and went to a playdate with Saronna. I held her baby while she cleaned up. Then she put him in the swing while we played. We paused when Faye called. Then we finished our playdate before school let out.

When I got home, two men were examining the sprinkler system, looking for leaks. After they left, I watched an interview with Dr's Stephanie Seneff and Judy M. They have some serious concerns about the jabs and how they work. Later, I went to Housing to make appt for inspection, then went to Jamie's house to pay her. I gave her half. Then I went to library to get DVD and a book.

Then I went to the Swap Shop to meet Jenni, but she called after I got there and said she wasn't coming. I took in the chair from the vacant house, and some floor lamps that someone left outside the SS door. I went to my trunk for other stuff, but it was dirty so I took it home to clean. I washed the stuff, and ate supper. I checked the numbers that Faye sent me.

Jenni texted that she was ready. So I went over there and we walked around the block. Then we went to the Swap Shop. She picked out some tops. From there, I went home for the thumb drive that was found at the vacant house. I delivered it to a friend of the former residents. Then I went to the garden to give extra water and some ferment to the plants.

When I got hoe, I ate a corn cob, and made tea. We watched two episodes of Person of Interest. Afterward, I brushed and swished, and listened to episode 9 of Covid Secrets: vaccines are very lucrative for pediatricians. They get remunerated (from the govt?) beyond what parents pay. I posted to my blog for yesterday, read a few pages, then went to bed.

Last day of pool :(

I got up around 8. I watered plants, then went to the vacant house to clean with Jamie. After 3.5 hours, I came home and made breakfast. I put together a Swansons order taking advantage of holiday prices. After two hours, I went back to the vacant house and cleaning for 3 more hours of cleaning.

When I got home, I had a bite to eat and put on two bathing suits: the bright one that doesn't cover the sides, and a purple one whose elastic is failing. I went to the garden for a few minutes, then to the pool, arriving about 6. Heather, Jenni and Jamie were there. Since it was the last day, we stayed as long as possible, watching the lifeguards pack up all the chairs and anything not bolted down. We each went down the watered slide and jumped off the diving board (except for Jenni). We came up with ideas for keeping the pool open or sneaking in on warm days.

At 8 the pool closed and we got out and toweled off. Wearing two suits, I was not as cold as the others. I went home and changed clothes. I had some supper then made tea. We watched 4 episodes of Bureau of Magical Things. I brushed my teeth, and swished while deleting e-mail. I could not find an e-mail with the link to episode 8. I listened to an interview with Dr Malone: these vaccines are not potent enough to create herd immunity, so they should be reserved for the elderly and compromised.

Then I posted to my blog and read a book for awhile to help me sleep.

Found my watch

I slept well, but still didn't want to get up in the morning. We got up at quarter to nine. I went outside to water plants and such. Then I read for a bit, not sure how long because I left my watch at the pool. Chris gave me a massage and we each took a shower. I got dressed for church, made spice mix, then read e-mail until time to go.

We drove to the chapel. As we entered, we picked up communion packets (a wafer and tiny bit of juice). The high school band director played his guitar for the songs. The chaplain gave the sermon on David and Goliath. After the service, we talked to the other people there. I walked out with Eileen.

Then we went to the gym. I asked the man at the desk if we could go to the pool area to look for my watch. He said yes, and gave me a towel to hold the door open. I didn't understand at first. But he and Chris walked through the men's locker room so I walked through the women's locker room and there was a door to the pool area. I placed the towel so the door could not shut. I looked through the grass near the lounge chairs. But Chris spotted it first. Successful, we each went back through the locker rooms and thanked the man and returned the towel.

When we got home, I changed clothes and made breakfast. I read e-mail and listened to some interviews. I got a bag of frozen blueberries and they disappeared mysteriously. At 4, I put the rest away, and went outside to dig gopher mounds. I set both traps and buried some dog droppings.

At 4:45, I went to the garden. I watered the plants from the five gallon bucket. I walked toward Jenni's house and met her coming my way. We walked around the block together. Then I walked back to the garden. Jenni said I could pick her bok choi and spinach so I got some and drove to the vacant house to spray the stove hood for tomorrow. Then I went home.

Chris had cooked corn, so I ate one cob. I also had some protein from the fridge. I finished an interview and watched the next episode of Covid Secrets. I posted class pics to the Dugway 24/7 page. Then I made tea and we watched 3 or four episodes of Bureau of Magical Things. Afterward, we made the bed and I posted to my blog.

Jenni did her own thing on Saturday

A long and tiring day

I got up at 8, thinking it was later. It had been a long night with little sleeping. I brushed and swished. I went outside to water the plants, but it seemed too cold. I pulled fabric, thread, and ribbon for the class later. Then I took my cleaning supplies and went to the vacant house. I saw that Jamie did a nice job with the back yard. I started cleaning the blinds in a bedroom upstairs. Then she arrived. She worked downstairs for awhile. I went home to get my vaccuum. I swept the floors to get rid of dog hair. I sprayed some Easy-Off on the oven racks and burner bowls. Then I washed the walls and baseboards, and doors and closets upstairs. Jamie scrubbed the tub and sink upstairs. I used the Swiffer to get the floors clean. It was almost noon. I swept downstairs, then left.

I went home and made breakfast. I ate it while reading e-mail. Then I got the last of my sewing stuff together. Chris put the sewing machines in my trunk and rode with me to the chapel. He set up the machines in the fellowship hall and walked home.

I set up the project materials and three samples. No one arrived, so I sent out some texts. I laid down until Saronna arrived with 3 of her kids. I got them to pick fabric, which I cut for them. Jenni and Johnnie came, as well as Heather and her daughter. I had laid out three hanging pockets and those two decided to make the most complicated one. Heather is quite accomplished and figured it out on her own. I helped the others with the simplist one, and Jenni made a hot pad.

By the time everyone finished sewing and talking, it was 4:30. Heather and Jenni and I agreed to meet at the pool at 5. I went home and took a nap because I was so tired. I woke up at 5. I put on my suit and went to the pool. Jenni wasn't there so I talked to Heather and Jamie until she arrived. Then we all got in the pool, but only Jenni and I did water aerobics. Soon there were lots of kids in the pool. We stayed in over an hour. The sun was hot and I started to worry about burning. So I pulled myself out of the water and dried off. Then I realized how tired I was. When I got to the car, I realized I had left my watch by the pool chair. But I didn't have the energy to go get it.

When I got home, I undressed and laid on the bed. Chris folded the laundry, then dressed me. I went to the kichen to get some food, then watched episode 6. There is no one drug to treat covid, it takes a multidrug approach. Typically there is plenty of time to treat, but early treatment is best. 259 supportive trials on hydroxychloroquine. It is more effective in outpatient treatment than in the hospital setting. C19study.com has all the trials. Safety science was never done on masks.

When it was over, I read other things until Chris' movie was over. Then I made tea and we watched the last two episodes of Dr Blake. I got ready for bed and wrote my blog post. I did some more reading both online and offline, then went to bed.

The price was right

I got up after 8, I made lemon water. I watered all the outside plants. I finished my book. I put on an audio and made up two weeks worth of supplements. I made seed crackers and resupplied the mixes. Chris went to work. I listened to This Week with Mary and Polly: clinical trials will not be required for booster shots. As of Sept 20th, U.S. will have purchased 1 billion doses of mRNA booster shots, far more than one per American. A physician resigned from a clinic that refuses to see unvaccinated patients.

We readied the cooler and went to Tooele. We had forgotten the list, so I tried to recreate it on the way. After shopping at the usual places for food, I went to Rue 21 to look at bathing suits. (Chris suggested I just replace the elastic in the suits I already have.) There wasn't much of a selection and the dressing rooms were closed. I chose the one that seemed least objectionable. When I paid, it was less than $10.

When we got home, we put the food away. I put on the new suit. It fit, but barely. I met Jamie at the vacant house and let her look around. She decided to start cleaning so I left the house open. I went to the pool, arriving just before 5:30. Jenni arrived at the same time. We swam and talked for over an hour since there was no way to tell time.

I went home and changed clothes. I went to the garden to give the plants a drink. When I got home, I watched episode 5 of Covid Secrets: No way should pregnant women take the vaccines. Those safety studies have not been done. Consent form says women should not be pregnant. Treatments are much less risky. There is a 400% increase in miscarriage in the first trimester. Vaccine studies are done badly, using other vaccines as placebo, only looking for side effects for a few days, not studying the combination of vaccines as given in the schedule.

Chris was involved in a request for support from the base. Since the answer was no, you'd think that would be the end of it. But apparently it was no, plus discussion of next time. Finally I made tea and we watched The Last Dragon from Netflix. It got interrupted several times by calls from the commander. We finished it about 11. I think it was a spoof on kung fu movies. I looked up some characters, then posted to my blog.

The first call

I got up before 8. I brushed my teeth and went outside to read for a bit. Then I checked the gopher traps and watered the outdoor plants. I lit the end of a wooden skewer and poked holes in the cap of a milk jug. I used it to sprinkle water where I planted collard seeds. I sifted through the carrot tops, tying them in bunches and hanging them on the fence to dry.

I turned on the router and checked e-mail. I read about a lady who owns three rental houses. But since none of them are paying rent, she is now homeless. Corbett talked about an article saying Switzerland intelligence warns of terror attacks on vaccine sites. Buried in the article is the claim that they have no tangible indications of planned attacks.

About 11:30, I got a call from a lady who wanted a quote for cleaning her house because they were moving out. I went over and found her husband packing the car and trailer. She showed me around and I quoted her $300. We had to go to Housing to get the contract and make an appt for 1. I went home and made and ate breakfast. I talked to Rusty. I drove back to her house. The housing people were there. We walked around together, and they told me why they hadn't approved the house as clean. We signed a cleaning contract. Then we all went back to Housing. The lady gave me $400. Her husband turned in the keys and Housing signed out one to me. I thanked the woman and wished her a good trip.

When I got home, I started listening to The Highwire. William called. I talked to him for awhile. Afterward I called Diane to ask her to help me clean, but she wasn't feeling well after her first vaccination. So I called Jamie. She was happy to help and we set a time on Saturday. I went back to The Highwire. Then Jenni called. She was canning beets. We decided to walk at 5.

I went back to The Highwire. It started raining little pellets and water. I forgot that my car windows were down. By 5, the storm was over. I went out to my car with a towel to cover the wet seat. I drove over to Jenni's house, but she wasn't there. I went home. I tried to listen to The Highwire but for some reason there was no sound. Refreshing did not help, nor did using another browser. Chris came home from work to say he was going to Mass. I looked online for project ideas for Saturday.

Jenni walked over with a sample project. We talked in my livingroom until Chris came home with pizza. I gave her my puzzlekeeper. She gave me some of the beets she canned. I drove her home, and came back. I soaked up some of the water in my car. I listened to episode 4 of Covid Secrets. Breastfeeding mother took the vaccine and her baby developed clotting and died. Doctor saw her older patients who got flu vaccines decrease in mental acuity. Covid risks have been overemphasized and treatments are underemphasized.

I made tea and we watched two episodes of Dr. Blake. I stopped at 10 to play Taps with the loud speaker system. That inspired a conversation, and then we finished the second episode. I finished episode 4, and then posted to my blog and went to bed.

New air filters

I got up before 8. I brushed and swished. I watered the outdoor plants. The beet leaves were laid out on the back porch. I put them in the oven and heated it for a minute for dessication purposes. I dug up some gopher mounds and reset the traps. Later, I had to dig them out again because the gophers cover them with dirt. But this time I had trouble pulled the trap out. When it finally came free, there were entrails stuck on it. I left it for Chris.

I made coffee and did the special exercises. My back was not 100% back to normal, but close enough. I washed dishes, then did my meditations. I heated the oven again, but this time forgot to turn it off after a minute. When I noticed something burning, I had to open all the windows and change the filter on the Air Doctor.

Chris came home for lunch and cleaned out the trap for me. I put a new nose piece in his facemask. He brought me a package from the post office. I started a loaf of bread on the dough setting, and later on the regular setting. When I finished with the kitchen, I got on my laptop to see when the air filters were changed last. There was no record in my blog of them having been changed since we moved here. So I changed them both.

I vaccuumed the living room and hallway and master bedroom. I used the hose in the bathroom. But the beater bar was still running and got caught in the throw rug which stretched the belt. I took a shower while the Hoover cooled down. I read e-mail then checked the other trap. There was a gopher in it. I left it in the hole. I found another mound to set the traps in or near. I called Keith Cook and had a nice chat with the two of them who were on a trip out west.

Jenni called to ask if I could meet her at the pool at 5 instead of 7:30. I placed a Swansons order, then put on my bathing suit and took a timer with me. She and I got there at the same time. I put down my stuff and set the timer for 30 minutes. Usually we just stay until the lifeguards close the pool. She and I exercised for awhile, then Heather arrived. We exercised and swam, but mostly talked. When I checked, the timer hadn't started and it was 6pm. I toweled off and went home.

I changed into regular clothes and went to the garden. I mixed fertilizer into the water in the 5 gallon bucket. I poured that on my plants. I noted that the tomatoes are turning orange, and the biggest pepper plant has two tiny peppers on it. After pulling weeds, I went home.

I started listening to episode 3 of Covid Secrets. Then I paused it to make tea. We watched two episodes of Dr. Blake Mysteries. When Taps played at 10, I picked up my trombone and played along. After TV, I finished episode 3, and posted to my blog. I read a few pages of a book and went to bed.

Fermentation

I got up about 8, thinking it was earlier and Chris hadn't gone to work yet. When I came in the kitchen, the jar of zucchini kimchi that I started last night, was fermented and pushing the liquid out of the jar. Chris had put a bowl under it to catch the liquid. Since there wasn't room in the fridge, I left it on the counter. I brushed and swished, then got dressed and read outside. Then I watered the outdoor plants and reset the gopher traps in the back yard.

I read e-mail until breakfast time. I made breakfast as Chris came home for lunch. I told him about the water on the sidewalk near a sprinkler. I was reading e-mail when Saronna texted me that her daughter came home sick from school so our playdate was canceled. Very sad. I listened to military people talk about Afghanistan, saying it was the worst possible outcome and why did the military leaders not stand up against such a bad plan.

I readied some checks to go in the mail. I walked to the library, dropping the envelopes at the post office along the way. I turned in a book and DVD set. I talked to Melissa and she introduced me to the new librarian. I checked out a book and walked home.

I read e-mail, then had something for supper. I went to the garden to give extra water to some plants. I saw Jenni walking and went to join her. We walked around the block and had a nice chat in front of her house. Then I walked back to my car and drove home.

I made tea and we watched two episodes of Dr Blake Mysteries. I stayed up to watch episode two of Covid Secrets. At midnight, I paused it to resume in the morning. I read from a book, then did a little yoga and went to bed.

Processing greens

I read outside for awhile, then checked the traps. I dug up one mound, and watered the outdoor plants. I harvested some of the compost pile, and added it to the tomato plant. I found a cluster of sprouts growing so I picked some. I put Jenni's carrot greens in water to rehydrate.

I turned on the router and checked e-mail. A respiratory therapist said hospitals are full from lack of staff. But staff are threatened with firing if they don't get the jab and pass the jabs out to others.

I looked up several kinds of sprouts. Not sure what kind I had, but all the possibilities were edible so I ate them. I got some big jars and cut up all the kimchied nappa cabbages. It made three jars worth and I had trouble getting them into the fridge. I also grated up a big zucchini. I put some of it in the jar of pickle juice, and the rest in another jar. I topped that one off with kimchi to start a ferment.

I listened to a talk about the current vaccines. Michele called Chris. I checked the traps. I dug one out and reset it. I went to the garden to spread manure and compost. I watered the plants, pulled weeds, and came home. I changed into my bathing suit. I jotted notes for my blog, then went to the pool. I exercised with Jenni and Heather. Afterward, we toweled off and went to the parking lot. Heather gave me two bags of greens which Jenni had given her.

After some chatting, I went home and changed clothes. I laid the beet leaves and chard leaves out on the cot to dry. Then I made tea and we watched two episodes of the Dr Blake Mysteries. I brushed my teeth and listened to the first episode of Vaccine Secrets: Covid Crises. I posted to my blog and went to bed. Spike is the part of Sarscov2 that causes covid. We don't know if the body ever stops producing the spike protein. At midnight, the internet shut down so I went to bed.
