I went to bed, hoping to fall asleep faster, but not sure I did. I woke up once and could not go back to sleep. I didn't get up when the alarm rang. I got up when I thought I heard water dripping. I couldn't put weight on my left foot at first. But when I could, I hobbled out to check. No water anywhere.
I did the usual morning stuff. I rolled my foot over the massage ball, and stretched it. I listened to another vitamin talk, but this one was more about juicing. I tested my fasting blood sugar at 95. I went out front to water my plants. The aphids had spread to the petunias. I made up some soap spray with neem oil in it and sprayed everything. Then I texted my neighbor to warn her. She texted back that the aphids were in the nieghborhood before the mums arrived.
I made and ate breakfast while reading e-mail. Then I got dressed. I put my regular machine in the carrying case and packed the horse quilt project.
When I got to quilting, attendance was low. I set up in the back and got to work with the horses. I listened to the general chitchat. Bertha came by to give Alice her phone. Then MaryAnn got a call from Roberta who fell. So she and Alice went off to get her and take her to the emergency room. I talked to Laurie and Bertha and Carolyn. I finished the horse top and started adding ending triangles to the stack-n-whack. That did not go well.
At 3 I packed up to go home. I was feeling tired and lightheaded. I stopped at the post office to pick up the mail. Nothing much to report. Then I went home and tested my blood sugar. I would have said it was low, but it was 114. I ate some seed crackers with avocado dip and a fat bomb .I listened to podcasts, then I texted Stacey to see if she would like to go walking.
I took a bag and clippers and walked to her house. She put on shoes and got a bag herself. Then we walked down by the youth center to collect sumac cones and pine cones. She held the trees down while I cut the cones off. We walked back to our circle, then went around three times, talking all the way. She went home for supper. I went home to check e-mail.
I called Dad, but he didn't answer. I watched Royal Pains. With only three minutes left to go, Chris skyped me. We talked for awhile, though nothing new. We still don't know what his parents are doing for Thanksgiving. I am worried that Michele will get a more local offer.
After the call, I finished the show, then took my evening supplements. I did my evening exercises and rolled my foot and calves. Then I posted to my blog and prepared for bed.

Tea and lamb
Last night I listened to a talk on nutrition for depression and anxiety. Then I put on headphones and listened to Holosync while lying on the couch. After it was over, I went to bed, knowing it was close to midnight, and it still took me a while to fall asleep.
I woke up before the alarm went off. My foot hurt too much to walk on it, but I kept trying to take a step until I was able to put some weight on it. I hobbled around the house doing the usual morning stuff. My blood sugar tested at 94. I read e-mail. I noticed cradle cap again, so I mixed baking soda and coconut oil and applied it to the scalp around my ear. Then I swished and took a shower. I got dressed and gathered the stuff I was taking with me. I jotted some notes for my blog.
I went to church and parked in the back so I wouldn't have so far to walk. I warmed up with the choir then sat in my pew. Don came in and I gave him an envelop for his offering. Then the choir got up to sing. We did well, and sat down while our director had to scoot out to attend something else. The pastor started the service. Susan made the announcements. Elaine and Caleb and Stacey and Doc sang well at their respective times. I helped Don walk up for communion. After the service, he got his walker and went out while I talked to Barbara and Tim.
Then I went to Publix. I noticed a pain in my left side when I got out of the car after parking. My foot still hurt but I forgot about it while shopping. I got all the things on my list and checked out. When I got home, I put the food away, and changed clothes. I made breakfast and the things that go with it. I listened to interviews while lying on the couch, but did not fall asleep. Then I went outside to read in the sun. When I came in, it was almost time to go. I filtered the sumac tea, and jotted notes from my blog.
I took the tea and the lamb heart over to Stacey's house. Her husband loves to cook. When he heard I liked pickled eggs, he pulled some from the fridge. I only wanted one but he gave me both of them. They were quite spicy. Then he showed me how to prepare the heart. He grilled it and salmon and veggies on their grill. Stacey and I ate and talked, but he mostly watched football from the doorway and added to the conversation here and there. Neither one of them wanted to try the lamb, but it was really good! He said anytime I want something cooked, to call or text him.
After eating an excellent meal, Stacey and I walked around the neighborhood. I showed her where the sumac grows and picked a cone. We stopped to talk to her Korean neighbor. Then we went to my house to drop off the sumac and to look at the aphids. We then walked around the circle and went back to her house.
Her husband was still watching football. She showed me around her house (since it was a different layout than mine) Then we sat and talked about God and judgement and stuff. At 10 I went home. I called Chris on skype and we talked about our day. Then I took my bedtime supplements and turned the AC down. I wrote up my blog post, leaving the livingroom light off. I suspect it is not an incandescent bulb, and may be interfering with my sleep.
* These are the flowers that might have been ground zero for the aphids. *

Sumac tea
I went to bed last night with the grounding cord stuck to my left foot. The stickers are quick and painless to remove from my feet, but slow and painful to remove from an arm. I also had the Qi Shield at the head of the bed, and my phone on the other side. I did not fall asleep as soon as I had hoped, and I did wake once during the night. The alarm woke me at 7:30 and I went back to sleep for one more cycle.
I got up around 8:30. I put laundry in the washer. I took the lamb heart out of the freezer to thaw. I went out to water the plants and found the tomatoes had aphids. I had some essential oil bug spray left and sprayed the plants with that. Then I sprayed a piece of yellow paper with basting spray and left it by the tomato, weighed down so it wouldn't blow away. It should attract aphids and keep them stuck.
I sewed strips to horse heads and made a panel. I soaked some sumac berries in a pitcher for tomorrow. I made the pre-breakfast mixes while listening to interviews. Before making breakfast, I tested my blood sugar at 92. I made up more spice mix, then assembled breakfast. I listened as I ate.
After breakfast, I sat out in the back yard, soaking up sun and reading the book Elaine gave me. The sun was so bright that it was hard to read. When I came in, I tested my blood sugar again and it was 103. I ate some seed crackers with the cauliflower dip, then ate a can of soup. I read e-mail for a bit. I took a salivary sample and packaged it for delivery to the testing company. I looked up Fedex boxes to find the nearest one.
I came across a recipe for cauliflower crackers and copied it to an e-mail to send to myself. But it was a lot of work because of all the ads that had to be deleted. Then I printed Vanco reports for next week. I ate a bag of blueberries that were getting freezer burn.
I took a walk, going the long way up the hill. A little dog came out of a house and ran after me although the owners were calling its name. I stopped and held out my hand. The dog sniffed it and then didn't want to go home. I resumed walking. I decided to come back another way so I went out by the busy road and got home about dark. I found a message from Stacey. I figured she was going to invite me over. One of the mums didn't look good, so I put it in a pot to soak. I gave the other plants more water.
I called Chris on skype. He got an invitation to an ox-tail and egg party, so we didn't talk long. Then I went to Stacey's house. We talked in her dining room, then sat outside and talked until after 9:30. She walked me half way home and watched me cover the last part. When I got in the house, I got dressed for bed, turned down the AC, and took my evening vitamins. I laid out more blocks for horse quilt while listening to a talk on depression. I paused it to write my blog post and listen to classical music. I decided to listen to brain wave entrainment before going to bed.
* Just horsing around with someone's leftovers. *

Making the rounds
I don't know how long it took me to fall asleep last night. But I do know that I went back to sleep pretty quickly after getting up once during the night. I slept well and woke up before my alarm went off. I stayed in bed until it rang, then got up, feeling pretty good.
I structured a pitcher of water for drinking. Listening to an interview, I collected the dried leaves from a stevia plant that Jennifer gave me. I listened to several interviews from the sexuality summit. I learned that aldosterone can help reverse hearing loss, and stomach acid declines with age. Acid blockers do not help with that. I used my tuning fork to move some energy.
After eating breakfast, I got dressed and went to the post office. I picked up two packages. Then I went to the bank to deposit a check and get massage money. Then I went to the next shopping center. I walked into the pet shop to look at fountains. Then, because the shops were there, I walked into the CBD shop, the nutrition shop, and the dollar store. The CBD guy said its the THC in the CBD that helps you sleep. (Mine is called CBDSleep and is THC-free) I picked up a few things there and returned to my car.
Then I went to the Jones Valley shopping center. I looked in the pet shop there, and then in Target. I looked at crock pots and slow cookers, and bought a cooking thermometer. On the way home, I stopped at Fresh Market. I wanted to know if they had organic rotisserie chicken. Well, they have rotisserie chicken and they have organic chicken, but no overlap.
The last stop was the library, where I returned everything I had checked out and I quickly selected a new book to read. Then I went home. For supper, I chopped up the last piece of liver and mixed it with a spicy sauce. I also made a salad, and sliced some beer cheese. I listened to interviews as I ate.
I went for a walk and ended up at the picnic table beyond the softball fields. I sat down and read until the darkness threatened. Then I walked home. I watered my plants in the blackness. I opened the package of supplements and put them away. Then I unwrapped the Qi Shield, read the instructions, and set it on the coffee table. I did some stretches as I watched Now You See Me 2 courtesy of Netflix. It was strangely familiar. Afterward, I wrote my blog post, and looked up one of the actors. Then I got ready for bed.
* I didn't take any pics today so here is one of Beverly's quilt top from Tuesday. *

Committing to yogurt
I listened to classical music last night, and then slept with the grounding patch on. It still took awhile to fall asleep and I was already tired. I woke up once during the night, but I don't think I got up. Then I woke with my alarm at 7:30 and felt pretty good.
I performed my morning ablutions. I searched for 'unhandled exception' on the internet. I did not find a specific answer as to what causes it. I structured water and drank it. I did a clearing for reaction to quilt basting spray. I looked up how to make magnesium water, and added carbonated water to my grocery list.
I put a thermometer in the oven with oven light on to see if it would warm it to 100 degrees. I listened to a podcast on hormonal health while I sewed some red white and blue blocks. Then I checked the oven temp and it was only 85. I listened to a good talk on vitamin C.
I had my pre-breakfast mixes and supplements, then made breakfast. I ate it while reading e-mail. Then I got dressed. I exchanged the Huskevarna for the Singer featherweight in my sewing case and went to quilting.
There were only three ladies there because the others had just left. That, and it was retreat week. I set up the featherweight and laid out my rows of stack-n-whack. While talking to Pat and Leanne I sewed the rows together. I was not entirely happy with the featherweight because at times the handwheel would not move until I gave it a push with my hand. I made a mental note to tell Rhonda about it next week.
It was after three when I packed up and drove home. I checked the mail and found a DVD from Netflix. I ate the last of the fish, and some cheese. I noticed my heart racing and my blood sugar went up. Weird. Can't blame it on caffeine today. I decided to go for a walk, but ended up just watering the plants and putting yard waste out at the curb.
My tapping buddy called at 7. We tapped for her issues and both ended up relaxed and sleepy. Then I called Chris on Skype. After that call, I put on classical music and researched yogurt makers and ordered one, then ordered the specific strain of L. Reuteri that makes the anti-aging yogurt. I turned the AC down and took evening supplements. I wrote to my blog and went to bed.
* This is Pat's machine. I liked the hanging pockets. *

Mums the word
Last night I laid on the couch and listened to a CD of the book. It was not that interesting, but I was still awake when it was over. I moved to the bed and eventually fell asleep. The alarm woke me at 7:30 but I did not get up right away.
As I got my morning started, I listened to an interview on hair loss. The doctor recommended a laser light cap called Capillus. He said finasteride (propecia) also works but is associated with suicidal thoughts and depression.
I did my exercises, dry-brushed, and made coffee. I did a lot of tapping and meditation. It went really well today. Then I cleaned the bathrooms and kitchen. I threw the coffee grounds out in the backyard and watered the plants in the front yard.
I started feeling odd so I took my blood sugar – it was 105. My heart was beating pretty fast. I could only assume it had something to do with caffeine, though it hasn't done that before. I took a shower and laid down. Later I got up and checked my messages. Stacey texted that she was ready any time. So I texted I'd be ready in 5 minutes.
I put on my shoes, got my bag and walked to her house, stopping at the bank of post boxes to see if we had mail. We did, but I left it for later. Stacey was ready for me and we got in her car and went to Lowes. I looked for something colorful and hanging, while she wanted a spray bottle. I looked at every mum in the place and finally chose two yellow ones that were not in full bloom yet. They were not in hanging pots but I had plant hangers at home. I also got some smaller ones for the little pots of petunias that don't look so good. I used the card Faye gave me to pay for them, so they were essentially free. Thanks, Faye.
We were having such a good time talking on the way home that she missed a few turns and we ended up coming in Gate 9. The traffic there was heavy. It was 4:30 when she dropped me off. I pulled my flowers from her trunk and she went home. I got the mail from the box and found a package of grounding electrodes. I put hangers on the two larger mums and hung them on shepherds hooks. The hooks were not in the right place, but the ground was too hard and dry to move them. I put the smaller ones on an over-turned bucket and watered them.
I went through my e-mail again. I put on some audio and sewed some strips together. I drank water infused with moringa. (Elaine liked it so much she plans to buy some from the Korean doctors. ) I ate some fat bombs.
At 6:30 I got my choir folder and tablet and walked over to Stacey's house. I ran into Julia who was walking her dog. We chatted for a few minutes and then I knocked on Stacey's door. Eric answered and we talked about cooking lamb heart. Stacey came out and we got in her car. She drove us to the church, talking all the way.
We went into the sanctuary and dropped off old music and picked up new music. Cecelia invited me to sit by her. Jennifer gave me a bag with some of her stevia plants, plus maca and a supplement that she didn't want. Then the choir did warm-up exercises and practiced a bunch of songs. Because Cecelia was singing in my ear, I did not need the tablet.
After practice, Stacey hung around to talk to Jen and Doc about singing on Sunday during communion. Then we went home and I showed her the path I take to see the lights of Huntsville from the top of a hill. We talked all the way home. She dropped me off at my house and we agreed to supper on Sunday afternoon.
I took my evening supplements and opened a package of grounding electrodes. I checked a few outlets to make sure they were grounded. I was about to place an order with Swansons when Chris called. But we were both tired, so we did not talk long. Then I wrote up my blog post, listening to classical music and looking forward to sleeping in a grounded state.

Last market day
Because I skipped the brain wave entrainment last night, I had nothing against which to judge how long it took me to fall asleep. But it was better than the night before. I got up once during the night. My leg muscles were on the verge of cramping so I took some magnesium. I was awake when my alarm went off at 6:30. I got up, looked at the daylight outside, and went back to bed. I thought about going for a walk, but the burning in my foot won out. I tried to sleep, but got up just before the 7:30 alarm went off.
I did the usual things. I rinsed the stones that came in the mail yesterday. I watered the plants with the rinse water. There were large mowers out going over the lawn. Yesterday a man had trimmed all the bushes and then used a blower to remove all the clippings from the flowerbeds. It also removed most of the mulch. That left the yard full of trimmings and mulch.
I took some protein powder and ate some fat bombs. I checked e-mail and listened to the rest of the book CD. I read an article saying supplemental iodine damages the thyroid. I was skeptical.
I got dressed and put my regular machine in my trunk. I drove to quilting where they were making stockings for the veteran home. I set up my machine to sew, but then Beverly came and she needed to spray baste a quilt that is due in November. So I helped her with that, though all we got done was batting to backing because she had to leave early. Then I made a stocking and added it to the pile.
The ladies were getting ready for lunch, but I left. My plan was to buy kimbap and measure my blood sugar before and after. I didn't count on the kimbap lady being on vacation. No kimbap this week :(
I went home and made breakfast. I listened to an interview from the Sexual Vitality Summit. The dotor was talking about health and recommended making an anti-aging yogurt which seemed to reverse all the signs of aging. I considered it for some time.
I went to church. The money was counted so all I had to do was enter the numbers in the computer. However, since I had not had the online numbers since Sept 1, I had to go back and find them and enter them today. I printed the reports. I saw Elaine's message and let her know I was finished. She came over to the church. We met in the back room and did clearings together. We also talked about the anti-aging yogurt, and CBD oil. She lent me a book to read on relationships with narcissists. I wasn't really interested, but she really liked it and the author was her friend, so I agreed to give it a try.
Then I went to the bank to deposit the funds. Afterward I circled back to the farmer's market. I bought lettuce and tomatoes. I stopped at the goat cheese booth. He was out of the flavor I wanted so I chose two other kinds. I noticed the meat lady wasn't there and he said she hurt her back and was going for an MRI. Heading back to the car, I passed another meat stand where they advertised chicken gizzards. I couldn't pass that up, but I had to dive into my massage fund to do it. Today was the last day of the market for this year so I splurged.
I went directly home so I could put the meat in the freezer and the lettuce and cheese in the fridge. I ate some fish and an apple for supper. I read e-mail for a bit, then went for a walk. I stopped at the picnic table and read from the book Elaine gave me. It was not a text book, but a novel about being in a relationship with a narcissist. I read until the light got dim. Then I walked home. I watered the plants, kind of in the dark. I came in and put on blue-blocking glasses.
I watched an interview from the Sexual Vitality Summit. Chris called so I paused it. We talked about nothing in particular. Then he hung up to apply for more jobs. I finished it and watched another one. Then I wrote to my blog while considering what would be more relaxing before bed: listening to brain wave entrainment, or to a book on CD.
* This is the quilt top I worked on yesterday. Do you think it needs more color? *
My first fish
I have been taking higher and higher doses of CBD oil in order to fall asleep, but it hasn't worked. I listened to brain wave entrainment through high quality headphones while laying on the couch. That should have put me to sleep, but it didn't. I went to bed early and laid awake for hours. I fell asleep for awhile, but woke in the middle of the night and couldn't go back to sleep. I kept waiting for the 6:27 alarm to go off. Finally I got up and got dressed. It was 6:15. I was going to walk to the picnic table, but my foot was hurting so I just watered the flowers out front, then sat on the porch and read a book for an hour or more, finishing it.
I looked at table top fountains on the internet. I wanted something that I could drink from and discovered there are food grade fountains made for pets. They were not exactly stylish, but functional.
I made and ate breakfast at 11 or so. I changed my clothes and put both my regular machine and the Singer featherweight in my trunk, and went to quilting. When I got there, I had to carry the featherweight under one arm and drag the sewing cart with the other. Dinah was the one who is most interested in old machines and she wasn't there. So I set up my regular machine and worked on the stack-n-whack project while I listened to or participated in discussions.
I got all the 'blocks' sewn into rows and decided that was enough, since I needed time to get to the post office. I said goodbye to the two ladies who were left and went to check our postal box. There was one piece of mail asking for a donation. Sigh. I went home. There was nothing in our home box either.
I took the fish out of the fridge. I read the recipe card, which included several ways to cook the fish. It was already in an oven-proof tray, so I turned on the stove, and put strips of butter on the fish, as well as fresh-squeezed lemon. Then I baked it while I listened to the book on CD. William called, which helped to pass time. Then he hung up and the timer rang, so I checked the fish. I wasn't sure if it was done, so I turned the oven off and left it in. I made a salad and ate that, then pulled the fish out and ate some. It was ok. I added more butter and salt and spices. It still wasn't tender and juicy, but it was my first fish. I don't remember ever cooking fish before. After all, what are husbands for?
I cleaned up scraps on my cutting table by them together to make blocks. I pressed them, then checked e-mail again. I was still listening to the book on CD when Stacey came over to get some denim scraps. She remarked on the pumpkin doorhanging that I put up yesterday. She also borrowed the weedeater as well. She invited me to come over later when her husband was watching the game.
I called Chris on skype and was able to catch him coming in the door. We talked briefly. I started jotting notes for my blog. The doorbell rang and UPS left two packages. One of them was the balls I had been waiting for, which were to go in a fountain. I rinsed them off and left them soaking in water.
I went over to Stacey's house. She put on her walking shoes and we walked twice around the circle. We ran into Julia walking her dog and we stopped to chat. Then we completed our walk and went inside. Stacey's husband was watching football, so we took our beverages to the back patio and had a nice chat – for hours. The bugs didn't bother us and it was a quiet night.
When we realized it was 10pm, we went inside, and out the front door. She showed me the outdoor fountain she bought on a yard sale. It made a nice tinkling sound. We chatted a bit and she gave me back my weedwhacker. She watched me walk home, and I made it safely. I checked my phone. I took my evening supplements. Then I wrote my blog post, and got ready for bed.

The many effects of light
I was lying in bed awake for more than an hour. My mp3 headphones weren't doing what I expected and I wondered if I needed more powerful headphones. I did not feel like getting up at 7:30 when the alarm rang. But I didn't stay in bed too long because I had to leave for church at 9.
I showered, and read e-mail while my hair dried. Then I got dressed. I had some protein powder, then 2 fat bombs. I practiced my choir music at the piano. I combed my hair and grabbed the grocery list and bags to be recycled. I headed to church.
Somehow I got there a little early. Stacey asked if she could have a strip of denim to fix a pair of jeans and I told her to come over any time. I got compliments on hair and dress. I had made the dress, but no one asked so probably meant I did a good job. I warmed up with the choir, realizing that I practiced the wrong piece. Cecelia was there to help me.
Don came in and sat by me before church started. I asked him about the sports he had reported on before he retired. Then the pastor started the service. After the service, I made sure Don got out to the hallway. But the pastor was not there to shake hands, etc. I talked to several people about the changes with Vanco. Ron gave me a hard time, but its ok because I can see how much he enjoys it.
I went to Publix. I stopped at the seafood counter to buy fish. I asked lots of questions. The man gave me a recipe card and put the fish in a special tray that goes right in the oven. It sounded so simple. He might have thought I was a secret shopper. If I was, I would have given him full marks.
I picked up the rest of the food I needed and checked out. When I got home, I put food away, changed my clothes, and washed the cans. Then I chopped up some liver and mixed it with a new spicy spread that I bought in the produce section. I went through my e-mail and listened to the next episode of Love as Medicine.
I laid down for awhile. Then I started a long podcast on the many effects of different kinds of light. While it played, I did some sewing and then made my usual breakfast. I did not get any stomach upset like yesterday so I don't know what caused it. The speaker touted the many benefits of sunlight, especially at dawn and sunset. So I considered getting up early tomorrow just to see.
I trimmed grass along the back of the house. Then I watered the plants out front. Stacey never came over. Sunset was close so I went for walk. I got back in half an hour and saw that Chris had called. So I called Chris back. We talked for a bit but there wasn't much to say and he was invited to a low country boil. So we wrapped up the call in a short time.
I set alarm for 6:27, which was an optimistic gesture. I moved the air purifier to bedroom. I watched Royal Pains, and used massage ball and roller. Then I took my evening supplements, and put away the laundry. I sketched out my day and wrote this blog post. It is 9pm and I am almost ready for bed.

Morning and evening sun
I had a longer than usual time falling asleep last night. In fact, when I had to get up to use the bathroom, I hadn't been asleep yet. But then I slept until 8:30.
I wanted some early morning sun (too late), so I put on my bathing suit and sat out in the back yard and read a book. It was nice. I forced myself to close the book before I finished it. I went out front to water the flowers. Then I tested my blood sugar and got 69.
I brushed and swished. I checked on my fat bombs but they had not hardened. Sigh. I drank two of them. The remainder of the fat bomb mixture was in a measuring cup in the fridge and it got hard. Sigh.
My foot started hurting again. I put on the wedge shoes and sat in the rolling chair. I collected the laundry and split it into two loads. Then I made and ate breakfast.
After breakfast, I looked through fabric scraps for something to go with a rudimentary project. I put on an interview and printed Vanco pages for Tuesday. I checked my blood sugar an hour after breakfast and it was 81. I worked on the stack-n-whack 'blocks', replaced the taupe color with more colorful triangles. I looked up pics of stack-n-whack arrangements to plan ahead.
Then I was not feeling well, so I laid down and listened to the book on CD. At 4pm, I checked my blood sugar again and it was 90. I finished listening to the CD. Then I had liver for supper and a can of vegetable soup instead of a salad.
Chris called me on Skype. It was early, but tomorrow's Mass had been rescheduled for tonight. After the call, I walked around the neighborhood experiencing sunset. I hope it raised my melatonin. I ate some cheese and took the supplements that I had forgotten earlier. I listened to the next CD while folding the laundry. I also watched a short audio. Then I watched Royal Pains. I took my evening supplements, then watched Frasier.
Then I typed up my blog post. I dressed the bed. I turned down the AC, and answered a message on my phone before putting it in airplane mode. I used the massage ball on my shoulders and back. I rubbed my feet. Then I went to bed.
* I have this plant in my garden. I think the Korean doctors gave it to me saying it is edible. But I am just not certain this is the same one. *

Fun with testing
I took more CBD last night, as I have been doing for the past three nights. I laid on the couch while listening to a CD of a book. I got sleepy so I paused it and went to bed. But it still took an hour or more to fall asleep. I got up once during the night, then slept in, getting up at 8:30.
I brushed and swished. I finished the CD from last night, then put on an episode of some summit. I watched videos on structuring water. Then I ordered ceramic balls, which were cheaper than getting the whole unit. I also looked at videos of perpetual motion fountains, but it turns out they were not.
I tested my blood sugar, which was 62. I took some protein powder and 25 minutes later tested my blood sugar again. It was 68. I put a sticker on my laptop and one on my phone. They are supposed to be protective. I made up a batch of mouthwash. And I watched a video on how to make a fountain with a faucet poised in mid-air. Soldering was involved so I decided not to do it.
I flushed all my meridians. I did not feel a big difference. I put on my bathing suit and read a book in the back yard. I got engrossed in the book and was out longer than I intended. I came in, washed up and got dressed again.
Checking e-mail, I saw my brother's post on Facebook, and realized I had missed his birthday. I wrote a check, and went to the post office. I picked up the mail and came home. Then I went for a walk, taking my phone so I could check wi-fi along the way. I found one spot that was empty, but even the ball fields had wi-fi.
When I home, I opened the package. I checked my blood sugar again. It was 58 and I was hungry. I made some ginger tea and pre-breakfast mix. I waited until 5:30 so my fasting time would be a full 72 hours. Then I drank the tea and ate the mix. I followed that with seed crackers and avocado dip. Then I ate the last of the chicken, and two tomatoes. William called to tell me about the renovations at his house.
I listened to podcasts, and then checked my blood sugar again. It was 84. I finished a podcast. I found a sashing that was sewn wrong on the fandango quilt. I fixed it by hand, then checked for other areas, and for hanging threads. I found a spot on the front that needed resewing also. But then it was fine (I hope).
I watched an episode of Royal Pains, then called Chris, but he didn't answer. I wrote up my blog post and called my dad. During the conversation he mentioned that he got lost while walking in the neighborhood, and this has happened before.
I started watching Frasier. Chris called. He had been at the Friday whiskey tasting event. When the others left to play trivia, he came back to his quarters to call me. He was tipsy and talkative. After the call, I finished Frasier and got ready for bed.

The newest (and oldest) addition to my collection
Last night I mixed some epsom salts in a bowl of water and sat in the kitchen soaking my foot while l listened to part of a book on CD. I paused it in the middle, and went to bed. It took a while to fall asleep, and I woke once during the night. I got up and ran into the door jamb trying to get to the bathroom, turning my thumbnail inside out. Ouch!
I went back to sleep, eventually. The alarm woke me at 7:30 but I think I dozed off. It was after 8 when I got up. There was no pain in my heel, but I put on the wedge shoes anyway. I did not use the rolling chair. I drank water, brushed and swished, and did a clearing for some meds I haven't taken since April, but am probably getting through the water supply.
I perused my e-mail. I listened to some podcasts. I put out two weeks of supplements. It was difficult because there were dosages left from last week since I don't always remember to take them. So I had to figure out what those leftovers were. I did as much as I could, but didn't have time to finish.
I got dressed and went to quilting. I took a handsewing project and my new glucose meter. There were not many ladies there. Christy was showing off her beautiful purple quilt. Both sides were pieced so it was hard to tell the front from the back. I brought a bag of quilt blocks from the modern guild and asked if anyone would like to use them. Several ladies looked at them, and then Pat took them. I asked her if she could show me how to use the glucose meter. She tried, but it was not the kind she was used to. So Rhonda came over and showed me how it worked. (She's a nurse.) She offered to do the test for me and I accepted. My blood tested at 78, which is pretty good for not having eaten since Tuesday. (Not eating is surprisingly easy.)
Then Rhonda asked if I still wanted the Singer Featherweight. Why yes, yes I do! She brought out one that she had cleaned and serviced. It had attachments and the case. It was in very good condition. She showed me how to wind the bobbin and load it in the machine. She talked about oil vs grease. I wrote her a check and it was mine. She said I should name it. My first thought was Anemone, but later I decided that was too modern for a machine from the '50's. Maybe Ruth?
I went home and checked the mail. Not much there. I put on my sneakers and walked around the circle, hesitant in case my foot started to hurt again. It did at one point and I slowed down. No more pain. When I got home, I finished the supplements and watered my flowers.
At 7 my tapping buddy called. We talked about our week, then we tapped for my eating issues. Chris called while I was talking to her because he forgot that this is tapping night. After the call, I called him back. We talked, but not for long because he was tired.
I listened to another podcast. While it played, I brushed my teeth and used the foam roller and massage ball on my back and legs. I also did some of my back exercises. I took my evening supplements and put on Wholetones while I wrote my blog post. Then I got ready for bed.
* Any ideas what to name her? *

Achilles heel strikes again
It took at least an hour to fall asleep last night. I think I woke up once during the night, and then again early this morning. I started thinking 'what if...' statements and that about put me back to sleep.
I got up a little late. I prepared for a detox and fasting day. I listened to an episode of Love As Medicine summit. Dr. Lee called to tell me not to come today. He left a message that I could hardly decipher. But I did make out that he will call me next week.
I did my exercises while babying my left foot. There was a burning sensation at the back of my heel. It seemed familiar. I have been stretching my feet and calves a little more lately but was unable to avoid this somehow. I put on meditation music and tapped for close to an hour. I focused on not feeling well after I eat. Then I cleaned the kitchen and bathrooms, and read through my e-mail.
I got an e-mail saying my order of CBD oil had been delivered to my mailbox. So I put on wedge shoes and walked out to get it. When I opened the box, the bottle was pretty warm already. I am glad they sent an e-mail because otherwise I wouldn't have checked until later, and it might have spoiled in the heat.
I laid out in the sun. I looked in the shed for the box of grounding patches. I took a shower and got dressed. I finished the binding of the fandango quilt. Then I put on my regular shoes and went to the post office. I picked up mail and a Swansons package.
My foot wasn't getting any better so I decided to stay off of it. I used the rolling chair to get around the house. I sent Jennifer a text to say I wasn't coming to choir practice. I looked for epsom salts but could only find a little bit. I must have used up the big bag and forgot to get more. I called Stacey to see if she had any Epsom salts. She didn't, but said she would get me some.
I skipped choir practice. I searched the internet for suggestions for treating achilles tendonitis. I tried the laser, the tuning fork, the foam roller, and magnesium oil. I soaked my foot in salt water while listening to a book on CD. Then I laid down and may have dozed off a few times. When it was over, I started another CD and went through some bags I got last night. Then I sat at my laptop. I was in the middle of ordering something when I heard a knock at my door. I sat on the wheeled chair to roll to the door. It was Stacey with a bag of Epsom salts! We chatted for some time, and then Chris skyped me so she left. I talked to Chris for a bit and we agreed to talk again tomorrow night.
I took my evening supplements. I wanted to watch Royal Pains, but it was too late. I ordered grounding patches. I wrote my blog post and thought about doing an Epsom salt bath before going to bed.

Seek and ye shall find ... other stuff
It took me a long time to fall asleep last night. I did get up once, and then woke early. I tried to go back to sleep, but got up when the alarm went off.
I could smell the liver and chicken all over the house. I had left the crock pot running on low. I turned it off and put the liver and chicken and broth in jars in the fridge. I ate a fat bomb.
I got dressed and went for a walk. I stopped at the picnic table to read a book. At 11 I put the book down and went home. I made and ate breakfast. I searched for a small white box that I remembered having in Korean. I looked through boxes in the garage. I found a salt lamp, which I put in the living room, and I found the big red light bulb, which I can't remember why I wanted it. I also found small desk items thrown loosely into a big box, so I repackaged them. I brought some stuff into the house.
I washed up, put on fresh clothes, and went to church. I put the offering data in the contribution program. But there were no reports for online giving. I called the company but they would not talk to me because Art's name was on the account. I told them that he passed away, but they said I had to fill out some form, and then wait for it to process. I printed out the reports and made a note to the treasurer that there were no online giving reports.
Elaine was busy, so I went straight to the bank to make the deposits. Then I went to the farmer's market. I got some lamb heart, and ox-tail. She threw in buttermilk for free. From other booths I bought tomatoes and goat cheese. He said next week is the last week for the market for this year.
I went home and put the food away. I checked mail, but there was nothing. I watered the plants. I ate liver and chicken and read e-mail. I found the online form and filled it out, to put my name on the online giving reports as main contact.
Then I went to modern quilt guild meeting. I was a few minutes early and Kelci was doing a talk on Instagram. Jen talked to me about the challenge quilt. Then the meeting started. We had show-n-tell. I turned in two tops for charity and showed off the quilt-as-you-go. A lady did a presentation on t-shirt quilts. After the meeting several people brought me stuff for dog beds. Linda, our church secretary was there. She told me a new e-mail account was added and wondered if anyone told me that the online giving reports were going there? Headslap.
When I got home, I tried to call Dad, but my phone wouldn't connect and had no bars. It said emergency calls only. I called Chris on Skype. He called Consumer Cellular on his phone. The lady had me turn off my phone while she made some adjustments. When I turned it back on, I could not connect to the test number she gave me, but I was able to call Dad's answering machine.
After the skype call, I watched an episode of Royal Pains. It seemed like a season ender, but I found out it was the first episode of a new season. I typed up my blog, took supplements, and got ready for bed.

Unexpected massage
I got to bed earlier than usual last night. I did not fall asleep any sooner, but I did sleep well all night. I woke up before 7. I watered my plants. I put on a Ben Greenfield podcast and puttered around the house. I washed dishes and the new crock pot. I put liver in, plus some sliced garlic and the chicken carcass and the leftover onions and juice from the leg quarters. I set it on 'high' to cook, hoping this crock pot actually works.
I mixed up a batch of seed crackers and put them in the oven. I did a clearing for something, but then there was a knock at the door. My neighbor wanted me to come over and see if I smelled what she smelled. I waited a minute for the seed crackers to finish baking, then I went next door. I did smell something like a cleaner. But she said she hadn't cleaned anything and thought it was coming from the AC. We talked for some time, about that and the fact that low spots are appearing in our backyards. I said I'd have to do a search for sink holes in Huntsville. The scent dissipated. I went home.
I made and ate breakfast. I paused whatever I was listening to, and got ready for quilting. I got a text from my massage lady that she had an opening at 4. Then I put my machine in the car and headed out. When I got there, the ladies were finishing lunch. It was a smaller group than usual. I set up in the back. First I worked on the shuttle blocks. They were easy to do while visiting with the ladies. Then I worked on trimming the stack-n-whack blocks. Several were inexplicably too small, but I laid the rest out on the table to get a feel for the quilt. Colorful!
At three I packed up. I went to the post office and collected the mail there, but no packages. Then I went home. I drank some water and filled a water bottle. I picked up the little box of glass vials. I checked on the liver. Then I drove to Ruth's Nutrition for a massage. I got there at 4 and Gabriele was in her office. I showed her the vials and tested her on a bunch of them. I convinced her to keep one to work with. I showed her the EMF stickers that came in the mail. We talked for some time, then got on with the massage. We talked more during the massage, but it went well. Afterward, when I took out money to pay her, she gave me a discount. Then I went home.
I had liver for supper, with a little of the spicy cauliflower dip. I also had some chicken and some seed crackers with avocado dip. I opened a coconut and drained out the water. I ate some of the meat with cinnamon on it, but some of it was going bad, so I threw the rest away. Then I opened the other coconut. I drained out the water and scraped out the jelly inside. I put a probiotic capsule in the coconut water to ferment it.
I was looking at things on the internet when Chris called me on Skype. While we were talking, Michele called in. She wanted to tell us that she got pre-qualified for a loan and was looking for a house or condo in Manassas. We talked about that and pets that she could possibly get.
When the call was over, I took my evening supplements. I watched an episode of Frasier. I looked for a particular box but did not find it. I sat down to write my blog post.

Prioritizing sleep
The AC cooled the house down to 69 degrees, but I don't think I slept any better. I woke up during the night and had trouble going back to sleep. However, not long after, daylight started coming in above the curtain. Finally I got up to start the day and then my alarm went off.
I did the usual morning stuff, plus showered and dressed for church. I grabbed my shopping list and choir folder and went to church. Ron was handing out bulletins and he started picking on me. He said he did it because my husband was out of town and I might not get picked on enough. Ha. People complained about the heat, but I said we get the sauna experience for free.
Then we lined up for choir practice. Afterward, I sat in my pew, waiting for Don (who did not show up). Stacey asked me to make sure her stove was off when I went home. I texted myself a reminder. After the service, I spoke to Cecelia, who I haven't seen in a month and was afraid she wasn't coming any more.
Then I went to Publix. I got the few things on the list plus a few more that should have been on the list. I took my food home and put it on the counter. I saw a blue truck in front of Stacey's house. I wondered if someone was there. So I went over, thinking I would just ask them if their stove was running. But no one answered. So I went in and checked the stove. It was cold. I went home and texted her the good news.
I put my perishables away and made breakfast. I ate it at my laptop, checking e-mail and listening to today's interviews.
interviews, I laid out in the sun, seeing if the reclining lawn chair was comfortable enough to sleep in. Not really. So I went inside for a nap. I am not sure if I dozed off or not.
I mowed the lawn. Then I was so hot that I took off my shirt. I listened to another interview. Then Chris called on Skype. He was early, but headed for an evening cookout. I finished the interview after the call. It was about the wonders of molecular hydrogen.
Around 6 I took a break for supper. I sliced up garlic in a pan of ghee. Then I washed some mushrooms and threw them in. I got out the carcass of chicken and pulled most of the white meat off and threw it in with the mushrooms. I sprinkled spices on top of it and kept stirring. When it was done, I put some in a bowl and cut up one of the tomatoes I picked recently. That was supper, followed by some pecans.
I listened to an interview on time-restricted feeding. He said mice thrived on a 6-hour eating window even though they were given a bad diet. I read about molecular hydrogen and how it gives you energy. I had been taking it at bedtime, and decided to take it earlier today. I ordered more, and some full spectrum CBD oil recommended by Ben Greenfield.
I did clearings for physical issues. I wrote my blog post. I got ready for bed. I didn't bother turning the AC down. I did a little tapping for not getting to watch TV. I hoped that if I fell asleep before 11, I could sleep through the 11pm-1am time that is so wakeful for me.

Headed home
It took me more than an hour to get to sleep last night, but I was not in any pain, so I cannot explain it. Sigh. I got up only once during the night. When I got up in the morning, I turned stuff on, and looked for the video I started last night, but it got replaced by the next day's episode. I started laundry. I joined the binding edges on the red quilt. I made breakfast early and ate it, then got dressed. I found some leftover sushi fabric and packed it in my bag. Then I went to quilting.
When I got there, the ladies were already underway. I took a pic of a Halloween quilt that she was binding. Then I got started at my machine. I had some triangles cut so I sewed a few on, then decided I needed more variety. So I cut a bunch of other colors and shades. Then I started sewing again, coordinating the triangles with the hexagons. Tina called for lunch. We lined up and got some food. I found salad, cheese and my crackers. I had brought more tea for the day, and there was some left from yesterday. I talked to the other lady who was sewing at my table. There were a lot less people today.
I sewed until all the hexagons had two opposite triangles. I had found some leftover pinned fabric in six layers and was able to cut two more hexagons. I rifled through the ones I had to see if any colors were underrepresented. But they were about even so I just sewed what looked the best to me. Everyone was packing up their personal stuff and the group stuff. So I packed up mine as well, and the ironing board. Heavy lifting is not my thing, so I bid the few who were left farewell, and headed home.
On a lark, I stopped by a small thrift shop and found it closed, so then I went to the Humane Society thrift shop. I did not see any crock pots there, but I found a piece of felt. As I was paying for it, I mentioned it to the clerk and she went to the back and found a small one. It was smaller than what Chris will want, but just right for one person. So I bought it and headed home.
On the way, I stopped at the library and found another book to read. I had to look in the young adult section to find something without violence and bad words. I checked out, then headed home.
Reaching home, I brought all my sewing stuff and crock pot inside. I checked the mail: none. I ate chicken while finishing an interview from earlier. Then I packed the book in a shoulder bag, and went for a walk. I walked for about 20 minutes and stopped at the picnic table to read and ground myself. It was a pleasant way to spend an hour. As it started to get dark, I headed home.
I tried calling Chris but he didn't answer. I drank some tea. I listened to more interviews while I went through the day's e-mail. I folded laundry and put it away. I put deeper music on my mp3 healphones. I wrote my blog post and then watched Royal Pains. Chris interrupted on Skype. We did not talk long because he was tired and wanted to go to bed. He told me about his day and I told him about mine. Then he hung up and I finished the show. Afterward I took my usual evening supplements and a few others. I also turned the AC down to 69.
I watched one episode of Frasier while doing some stretches and using the massage ball on my stomach. I finished my blog post and got ready for bed.

Blanket Daze was sew-sew
When I laid down in bed last night, my lower back hurt. You would think the morning's chiropractic visit would have taken care of it. It took me over an hour to fall asleep.
I shut off my phone when the alarm sounded. I dallied a little bit, then got up. I adjusted the AC and turned the electricity back on. I moved the air purifier out to the livingroom. I played videos from the summits while I puttered around the house, getting ready for quilting. I had some fabric to gather up so I could donate it. At 10 I prepared the bone broth, and collagen, then made and ate breakfast. I filled a few water bottles and put moringa tea bags in them. I got dressed and moved my stuff to the car.
I drove to Blanket Daze, a two-day event to make quilts for Linus. I timed the trip on the way in so I would know when I had to leave to get to the post office. But the lights were timed to catch at every corner on the way in. I parked in the lot and rolled my machine to the church across the street. I put my seed crackers on the counter in front of the kitchen. There was a huge pile of quilts on a table and underneath it. These had been made since the last Blanket Daze and were now dropped off. I wished I hadn't forgotten my camera! Also, the crowd of ladies was the biggest I had ever seen there. Tina indicated a table where I could set up. Three people had occupied it earlier, but had left. Gee whiz, it's not yet noon!
I set up, but spent some time talking to the ladies I knew from Renegades. Then I got out the stack-n-whack blocks of sushi. It was easy to chain-piece the little stacks of six wedges together. At noon, Tina announced lunch. I was still digesting breakfast, but I got a plate and took a little bit of salad and tuna and cheese and pineapple. After eating, I resumed sewing (and chatting). Tina brought around slips of paper for people to write their names for a drawing. In fact, she had thirteen prizes to hand out. I got a kit for a project I didn't want, but the fabric was nice. Ladies started leaving, most of them not coming back tomorrow so they took their machines with them. I kept sewing until all the wedges were made into hexagons. Then I went 'shopping' through all the donated fabric looking for semi-solid fabrics to go with the colors in the fabric. I ironed the pieces that I found and cut equilateral triangles from a bunch of colors. When there were only four of us left (and it was nearing 4) I gathered my project into a small space around my machine and bid the 3 other people goodbye.
I drove directly to the post office and picked up the mail. There were no packages, so I could have done it later. I went home and listened to some audios while I ate pieces of the rotisserie chicken. Then I brought one of my mowing shoes inside. Half of the bottom was missing. I removed the paper from a very long twist tie. I made holes in the show and threaded the wire in and out to ground it. Then I put my mowing shoes on and mowed half of the lawn, before plugging in the battery to recharge. I sat outside and read until it got too dark.
I had some sauerkraut, then I looked for Chris on skype. I started an episode of Royal Pains. I paused it when Chris called. We did not talk long because he had just come from the Friday attitude adjustment gathering and was going to the pool party with bubbles. He wanted to know if he should call me after the party, but when I said he could but he didn't have to, he took the out. I finished my show and took some evening supplements, turned down the AC and put the air purifier in the bedroom. Then I watched an episode of Frasier, and wrote my blog post while listening to Wholetones. I finished a video on Keto weightloss and went to bed.

Where's the static when you need it?
I decided to read last night and it lasted too long. I am not sure how long it took to fall asleep. Judging by the half hour pieces playing on my mp3 headphones, it was more than half an hour. I think I slept well, and I woke up a little before the alarm went off.
I bustled around the house getting ready for the day. I listened to episode 9 of Natural Medicine summit. I got dressed and went to see the chiropractor. First they strapped me to a table to stretch my spine and put electrodes on my back. The electrodes felt kind of good, but I was still stiff when it was time to get off the table. I was put in exam room 3. When the doctor came in, I gave him a jar with some dried poke berries in it. He did some adjustments on my neck and spine. I went to the front desk and the lady said I still had a credit from before. I asked how much it would be if I didn't have a credit and she said $3.41. I guess my credit will last for a long time. She made me an appointment for next month.
I went home, and made breakfast. After fasting all day yesterday, it really was a break fast. Then I cut red strips and went to quilting. I set up by Marjorie, where I would have some room to spread out. She explained how she does binding, and even had a sample made up. I sewed the longest binding strips together and finger pressed it in half. Then I started sewing it on. Marjorie and Charlotte looked on and gave advice.
There were two featherweights in the corner of the room which I heard Rhonda had just bought from Angela (who runs an estate sale service.) I indicated that I would like to buy one and she agreed to sell me one for $400 after she checked it out and lubed it. I was pleased.
On the way home, I stopped at Whole Foods for an organic rotisseried chicken. Lucky for me, there was one left. It smelled so good on the way home. I ate some of the chicken, which could have been juicier but was better than the last rotisseried chicken that I bought.
I made seed crackers. While they baked, I looked up separating salt from plastic to get microplastics out of my sea salt. I found nothing. I thought static electricity might work, but I was unable to generate any.
When the seed crackers were done, I watered the flowers, then went for a walk. I stopped to read and finished the book, then walked home. I was a little tired so I laid down for a nap. It was 6:30 when I got up. I made a salad and was still eating it when Nell called. We talked for half an hour before we got down to tapping business. About 8:30 we finished up. I called Chris on skype, but he didn't answer. I did a clearing for the pendant. Then I remembered that Chris had texted me that the power was off where he was. So I called Chris' phone. Still no answer so I left a voice message and a text.
Having done all I could to contact him, I watched an episode of Royal Pains and massaged my calves and one kidney meridian point. Afterward, I saw skype texts from Chris, so I called him. It got him out of bed to answer. We talked briefly. He thought I shouldn't worry about microplastics in my sea salt.
Then I sat down to write my blog post before going to bed.

Coffee morning and evening
It took more than an hour to fall asleep last night. I got up once, then slept through. I stayed in bed late waiting for the alarm to ring, but it had already rung. Either I slept through it or I turned it off and went back to sleep.
I turned up the AC and on the electricity. Dr. Lee called to say he did not need me today. I turned on the router, and called up episode 8 of the Natural Medicine summit. I made coffee and puttered around the kitchen, putting things away. I cleaned out a purse and shook out the crumbs. I exercised, then put on some meditation music for tapping and reflection.
Afterward, I cleaned the kitchen and bathrooms. I replaced the shower filter, which was difficult. I used a hammer to loosen it, then screwed on the new one. But I couldn't get it tight enough not to leak. Still, plenty of water came out the shower nozzle. Then I vacuumed the bedroom. It was tough because the height setting was stuck on low.
I decided to go for a walk and read at the picnic table. But halfway to the first corner, I noticed my legs were weak and tired, probably from the vacuum and standing on the side of the tub. I went home again and sat out in the back yard. I read until rain threatened me. Then I went in and laid on the couch to read.
At 4, I went to the post office. There were two packages for me and lots of flyers from Viking Cruises. Sigh. I put the boxes in my car and went by the gas station on the way home. One box was full of coffee. Some were raw beans for Jennifer's husband. I put them in my purse. The other box was from Swansons. I unpacked it and combined each one with the nearly empty bottle of the same thing. I threw out the coffee grounds from this morning and watered the plants. I texted Stacey to see if I could get a ride to choir, but she was going early and I wasn't ready. I took a shower, and put on vitamin patches. I had a bit of a headache so I drank lots of water whenever I remembered to. I fiddled with my tablet to make sure it was ready for choir practice. I placed a Swansons order for the stuff I forgot to get. I called Dad and left a message.
At 6:30 I went to choir practice. I gave Jennifer the bags of unroasted coffee beans. She was very excited to get them, on behalf of her husband who takes great pride in roasting his own coffee beans. Several people were absent due to illness. Someone said norovirus was on the upswing at the local college. Choir practice got started late because of a ladies' meeting beforehand. I used my tablet on one song to get pitches. I probably should have used it more, but the app has problems.
Afterward, I went home. I took evening supplements, and turned the AC down. I watched one episode of Royal Pains. I paused near the end to answer Chris' call. I told him how happy Jennifer was with the coffee. He said he hoped it was still good since it had sat for a month. After the call, I finished the show and watched one of Frasier. Then I took an Essiac softgel and a new one called CBDsleep. I wrote up my blog post, stopping now and then to check e-mail (or procrastinate). I listened to Wholetones until I was ready for bed.

Stack-n-whack sushi
I got up soon after the alarm went off. I think I slept well. I puttered around doing the usual morning things and tracing my meridians. (I am not sure whether it is helping or not). I checked e-mail quickly and listened to part of episode 7. Then I got dressed and went to quilting.
I brought two bags of stuff for dog beds. Anita was working with Thelma to work out how best to assemble Christmas stockings. They had directions, but it wasn't clear. There were a bunch of machines set up and people ready to work. When Anita did a demo, we all got involved. Most of us sewed, but some people did most of the pressing. I did a handful of stockings. Beverly came and worked at another table. They were doing ornaments. At 11 food was brought out and placed on a table as a buffet. While the ladies ate, I packed up and went home.
I mixed up protein powder in water, and colostrum with MCT oil. I made ginger tea to mix with collagen powder. Then I made breakfast. Stacey texted to see if I could deliver some money for her. I finished episode 7 and started another summit. At 2 I went to Stacey's house to get the money and we talked about taking a walk later.
I went to the church to count money, the sheet was not filled out so I had to record all the checks on paper and stamp them and prepare the deposit tickets. Then I started recording on the computer. Jennifer came by to get a dozen eggs. I gave her the money that Stacey gave me. Elaine came by, too. The three of us talked for a bit, but then Jennifer had to run. Since I wasn't done with the money, Elaine and I did our clearings in the office. Then she left, and I printed reports. Finally I checked into the $300 missing from the accounts total. It was easily resolved and I printed out a corrected version. But there were numbers on the sheet that were unaccounted for on the computer and it made me think I had lost almost $2000.
It was raining hard as I drove to the bank. I was upset at the thought of missing money. I deposited the funds and told the cashier that I thought I lost the money. We conferred and it occurred to me that the funds were listed twice: once as the way they came in, and once as the way they were to be recorded. I was so relieved.
It was raining even harder as I drove home. Going was slow and I was tempted to pull into a parking lot and wait it out. But finally I got home. I set a message to the treasurer. I made a salad and ate it in at the laptop, listening to something from the Sound Healing summit. Then I worked on stack-n-whack blocks. Someone else had done all the stacking and whacking, then gave up, I guess. So it was simple for me to sew the sets of six wedges together. Someone called it sushi fabric because of the print.
It seemed to have stopped raining, so I went for a walk around the circle. There was a little bit of rain. I did some more sewing when I got back. I started the Netflix movie. I paused it to talk to Chris (who found out today that he did not get the job here at the arsenal), then finished the movie. I put the movie in the Netflix envelop and put it in the mail. Then I gathered all the trash and put it out for tomorrow. I wrote my blog post while listening to Wholetones. But I will be playing Holosync on my mp3 headphones when I go to bed.

3rd sewing day in a row
I was up late making sure my bladder was empty, then I went to bed. I think I fell asleep in an hour. I slept all night and woke a little before my alarm went off. I still wanted to stay in bed. I got up to turn the AC up, and the electricity on. I brushed and swished. I watered the flowers. I traced meridians, and puttered around the house while listening to the latest episode of the natural medicine summit. I made the morning concoctions so I could stave them off a little longer. At 11 I ate them, then made breakfast. I gathered up bags of scraps from the modern guild and went to quilting.
The ladies were still eating when I got there, but they finished by the time I set up my machine. I got to chat with lots of ladies while I made a 25 patch for the next charity quilt. I also rearranged some squares in the errant patchwork, and then cut lots of pieces for new shuttle blocks. I stayed later than I intended, but had to run at 4 to get to the post office. So I left Lauri and Maryanne to pack up (when they were ready).
I seemed to hit long lights on the way to the post office. I could see the colorful beginnings of the Octoberfest setup in the field across the street. I dashed inside the building to check our box. It was empty. Sigh.
When I got home, I had coconut cream for lunch and a tomato. Then I went for a walk. On the return journey, I stopped at the old picnic table. I pushed a metal chopstick in the ground and curled my toes around it as a grounding pole. Then I read for an hour or so. I noticed the light waning, so I went home. Before going in, I checked the house mail. There was a package and letters. One was a bill so I e-mailed the particulars to Chris.
I started listening to an audio from the Sound Healing summit while eating a salad. Then Chris called me on Skype. We talked for a while, and I asked him to sing to me. While he called up some music to sing to, I turned down the AC and moved the air purifier into the bedroom. Then he started the music and sang. But for some reason Skype edited out all of it. It was like watching a mime. When the song finished, I asked him to sing acapella and then his voice came through.
While the audio finished, I worked on the errant patchwork that I picked up on Saturday. I kept at it until it was in one piece. It was frustrating because someone had pressed all the seams open which made it harder to rip apart and piece back together.
When that was done, I watched one episode of Royal Pains, then sat down to write to my blog while Wholetones played in the background. I took a break to rearrange more squares to see if I had enough to complete another block. Then I finished my blog post and got ready for bed.

Sewing Sunday
Last night I fell asleep in an hour but woke up later, several times. Finally the alarm went off. I did some tapping because I did not want to get up. I could have stayed in bed longer if I didn't have to go early for choir warm-up. When I did get up, I brushed, swished and showered. I got dressed and put on the next episode of the summit. I was not able to finish it before I had to leave for church.
I arrived a little early since it only took 15 minutes to get there instead of the 20 that I planned. I talked to the pastor until it was time to line up. We sang through the song and then I went out to get a bulletin. I gave it to Jim and went to get another. I sat in my pew and waited for Don, but he never came.
Before the service started, we had a speaker from The Vine who told us about what they do and thanked us for supporting them. Then we had the service, which had more liturgical elements than during the summer. As I took my seat after communion, I thought that the wafer and wine might spike my blood sugar. It occurred to me that cinnamon would help. I nearly laughed out loud as I imagined going to the rail with a small plate upon which I would place the dipped wafer and sprinkle it with cinnamon before ingesting it. In fact, a little butter would help the cinnamon stick. I had to concentrate on something else.
After church there was a meeting to describe the results of the recent survey. It was slow and there was a lot that seemed unnecessary. Maybe it was because I was anxious to get to Renegades. I scooted out at 11:50 to get past the large church on Bailey Cove where the police stop traffic to let the parishioners out. I stopped at Publix and got a bag of groceries before going home.
At home, I changed my clothes, and ate the last piece of tasteless chicken (because it was quicker than making breakfast.) My trunk was already loaded and I went to quilting. I brought in 5 quilt tops and one backing. Lynette asked me to make a backing for the other four. It is standard policy so I was not surprised. I made two backings and one binding. Laura made the other two backings for me. I bought two dozen eggs from Tina. One was for Jennifer.
Then it was time to pack up. While the other ladies put up tables, chairs and tubs of fabric, I swept the room, which is fairly large and takes some time. I finished about the time they did, which was what I had in mind.
When I got home, I started making breakfast. Chris interrupted on Skype. I talked to him for several minutes and we talked about our day. When he hung up, I finished making breakfast and I ate it while finishing the episode of the summit. Then I went for the weekend walk. I actually went a little farther than usual, hoping not to get caught in darkness on the way back. But there was plenty of light to see a live armadillo digging in someone's lawn. I slowly approached it to get a better look. I wished I had my camera with me.
When I got back, I watered my plants, then called Chris to tell him what I saw, but he didn't answer. I went through some e-mail, then watched Royal Pains. I turned down the AC and turned on the air purifier. Then I watched Frasier. I did exercises and rolled a few muscles as I watched. I went through some bags of patches, and found some that will go with the new project from yesterday. After the episode of Frasier ended, I found myself fitting new pieces into the missing spaces when I should have been writing to my blog and going to bed. I finally tore myself away and did my writing and got ready for bed.

Charity Sort Day
I fell asleep in about an hour last night, which is an improvement. I woke with the alarm, but still stayed in bed a little longer. I got dressed and spent the morning listening to the next episode of the summit while I did little things around the house. I did two loads of laundry, the sound of which interfered with the interviews. I put more intense BWE on my mp3 player. I watered the plants. I listened to an interview about grounding (earthing) while I made and ate breakfast, then washed all the dirty dishes. I packed a few projects and a bottle of water. I headed out to quilt, stopping for coconuts at an Asian store.
When I got to the library where the sewing day is held, I brought in my machine and discovered no one was sewing. It was charity sew day. They were sorting through piles of donated fabric and scraps and making piles of coordinated fabrics that might be good together in a quilt. I misunderstood and took a bunch of fabrics and laid them out on a table. They remarked on it like a great work of art. Kelsi took a pic and I put all the pieces in a baggie which was given a number. Apparently I didn't need to actually arrange anything. We made up kits for people to take and do any arrangement they want. Amanda gave me fabric to share with anyone who is making quilts for nursing homes, and for Linus. Kelsi gave me scraps for dog beds. When most things had been kitted, I worked on someone's unfinished (or leftover) project until 4:45. Then the library announced it was closing. So we packed up and left.
I went home. There was no mail, but there were two packages waiting on my doorstep. I moved them and my stuff inside. I ate a piece of chicken. I put mustard on it to add taste. I opened one packaged to find a pendent that is supposed to have helpful properties. Whether it does or not, it has a 30 day guarantee. I watched some videos about it, then put it on.
I put a book and glasses in a bag and went for a walk. I went to the picnic table near the woods. I took off my shoes and placed my feet on the concrete under the table, then read for half an hour or so. I put on some IcyHot to keep the bugs away, but the ants didn't care. They crawled over my feet and invaded my shoes. It started to get dark so I packed up and went home.
When I got in, I saw Chris had called so I called him back. We talked for a little bit, but he was tired so we kept it short. Then I pulled up the e-mail from the library saying my book was due soon. I jumped through some hoops to renew it online. Then I made a salad and ate it while watching Royal Pains. Then I dressed the bed and put some of the laundry away. I turned down the AC and put the air purifier in the bedroom. Then I watched Frasier.
I hummed along to John Denver songs as I wrote my blog post and got ready for bed.

Relaxing and reading
It took probably 3 hours for me to fall asleep last night even though I did almost everything on the sleep list. I wondered if it was due to tracing my meridians, which should be a morning activity. So I slept in and got up late. I decided that 7:30 is not a good wake-up time because it almost always falls during a sleep cycle. But I can't think of a better one.
While getting dressed, I pulled out a pair of pants that would make a good pair of shorts. So I put on the next episode of the current summit and listened while I cut off the pants and hemmed them into shorts. It took a lot longer than I expected and the result was not as good as I had hoped. I also sewed one last row onto my quilt top.
I also had trouble with the desktop computer. Firefox kept crashing so I had to turn to Edge (or is it Explorer) instead. I used the laptop turned up to full volume until I could get the alternate browser working.
I took supplements on an every half hour schedule. I traced my meridians. I called Dad multiple times and concluded that his phone was off the hook. I called his cell phone and there was no answer. After a bit, I called it again and this time Patrick answered. He hung up the kitchen phone and I called back on that so Dad's cell phone could recharge.
I found water all over the countertop to the right of the sink. I was surprised to see it was coming from the Berkey on the left side. I had left the petcock open and the pitcher underneath got shoved over a bit. I cleaned it up. I laid out in the sun for awhile and almost fell asleep.
I started breakfast late because Dr. Berg says in his video to confine eating to a 6 hour window in order to resolve insulin resistance. The list of symptoms sounded pretty familiar to me.
In the afternoon, I went to the post office to mail a package and pick up mail. When I got home, I watered the plants, and got the house mail. Then I went for a walk, taking a book with me. On the way back, I stopped at the picnic table and read for some time. I did not have my watch with me, but stopped when I noticed it was getting dark. It was dark by the time I walked home. I felt more relaxed than usual.
I made a salad for supper and cleared some e-mail as I ate. I watched Royal Pains, then called Chris but he didn't answer. I watched Frasier, then called Chris again. This time he answered, having just come home from work. However, they had stopped working hours ago and were engaged in 'team building' which involved beer. Chris is usually a man of few words, but tonight he was downright loquacious. He finally hung up about 10:45. I wrote to my blog and got ready for bed.
* I think this is the final version - unless I think of another row to add. *

Not the queen of chicken
I fell asleep in a more reasonable time listening to the latest Holosync. I woke up once, then slept until my alarm went off. I got up, turned electricity on and thermostat up. I brushed, swished, and took supplements at intervals. I did a clearing for astaxanthin and lutein. I put on the next episode of Natural Medicine Secrets on the desktop. I made pieced strips and sewed them to one of the quilt tops. The desktop developed problems so I switched to the laptop for listening. By the time I got the desktop sorted out, the episode was done playing.
I made and ate breakfast. I looked up new selections for our Netflix queue which was almost empty. Then I grabbed the fandango quilt and went to see the Thursday group.
It was their potluck day, but I arrived late, on purpose. I threw money in the basket for their donation to the church that supplies the room and electricity. I worked on binding and talked to Marjory. After she left, Pat told me about her dog.
Around 2 we packed up. I went to Whole Foods to buy an organic rotisserie chicken. But they were out of the organic ones. So, I bought two packages of organic thighs. When I got home, I was going to call Kevin to ask him how to cook the chicken but forgot the number. So I called Cecily but Al answered. I talked to him for awhile, then asked Cecily and she told me how to bake the chicken.
I preheated the stove and got out a casserole dish. I put in leftover juice and onions from the beef heart. I tried to rub the chicken with butter, but it wouldn't stick. I patted them dry and tried again, but still no luck. So I spooned ghee onto both sides of each piece and laid them in the dish. Then I sprinkled Italian spices over them and put them in the oven. I think I contaminated everything. I ate cheeses while it cooked. I watched a live video presentation on a device which protects from the effects of radiation. After 50 minutes I declared the chicken done and ate one leg. It was essentially tasteless. Sigh.
I went for a walk, taking a book. I sat at an old picnic table in a spot that I had already checked for wi-fi. I read for an hour and used a broken fly swatter handle as a grounding cord. At 7 I walked home. I passed Julia so I stopped to talk to her. When I got home, I checked the mail and found a package of supplements. I ate some nuts and sauerkraut, and took supper supplements.
I watched a video on tracing all the meridians. Chris called on Skype and we had a little chat but nothing new. Afterward, I looked for the little needle-punch critter that Becca started me on at the beach last year. I couldn't find it. But in case it turns up later, I chose a length of wool to finish it and put the rest in a box for Becca. I wrapped it in brown paper to hide the previous labels and I addressed it.
I watched one episode of Royal Pains. I started doing things on my new sleep list. I wrote up my blog post. Then I got ready for bed, hoping for another good night.
