We woke up at 8 and rushed through the shower to get to the breakfast room and eat before it closed at 9. Then we read e-mail for a bit before packing up and getting on the road. We finished the book on CD and started the next one before we arrived in Richmond about 2. We unpacked the car. Cecily and Alfred were at the grocery store. Apparently they did not know we were coming this weekend. They came home with a rotisserie chicken for supper. We sat in the den and talked for hours. Then Cecily made supper and we ate, chatting even more. Finally Cecily went to bed around 9. Al retired before 11 and Chris and I after. One of the audios I listened to yesterday was with the creator of the MacGyver series. He said he had to be really creative in really short periods of time to write the episodes. So he would instruct his subconscious to work on a question or problem which he was very specific about. Then he would turn his attention to something else, like woodworking. After an hour or so, he returned to the question and his subconscious would have an answer for him. Cool, huh? I hope it works with crocheting as well. * Quilt at Paducah *
