Getting back to normal

I got up to take the first supplement, then went back to bed to cuddle with Chris. Later we washed up. I listened to an interview with Christine S. She talked about the danger to our bodies of aluminum in our environment, food, vaccines, dental fillings etc. She recommended mineral water with silicon like Figi or Volvic: 1 liter/day. Also cilantro, and ionic foot baths.
The maid knocked on the door and said she needed to clean the room, so I quickly ate breakfast and we packed up and moved our stuff to the car. Because of the pain in my right arm, Chris opened the car door for me whenever I had to enter or exit the car.
We hit the road about 11EST. We listened to a book on CD which had lots of short murder mysteries in it. I took my mid-afternoon supplement two hours later. We made one stop at a rest area. Surprisingly, there were no signs mentioning masks.
When we got back to the Arsenal, I could not find my ID, but I had my driver's license and that was enough (with Chris' card). We unloaded the car in the driveway. I unpacked the food boxes and my suitcase. Chris sent an e-mail to his mom that we arrived safely. I texted thanks to our neighbors for watering the plants. The plants looked really good.
Then we went to Publix for groceries. When we got back, we put those away. I washed all the cans and packets. I got the mail, which included several books, and sesame seeds. Then I went for a walk.
When I got back, Chris said the neighbors brought over a package. It was a large package of cacao nibs. It probably arrived the day we left. I started listening to an interview with virologist Mikovits. At some point, I looked out back and saw that the grass was pretty high, so I paused the video and mowed half of the lawn. I had to move the deck up so the motor wouldn't work too hard. Afterward, I plugged in the battery to recharge.
Chris put colored peppers in the oven with bacon and onions. I had a bite of that. I also ate a can of soup and two eggs. I finished the interview. I read e-mail until Chris was ready to watch TV. We watched two episodes of Legends. Then we put clean sheets on the bed. Chris read and retired. I stayed up to post to my blog and do some stretches.

All good things come to an end

I got up at 9. I took the first supplement and said hello to Cecily who was doing puzzles on her tablet. I read e-mail and listened to a talk by Peter Schiff, economist. I paused it to make breakfast. Then I washed up and got dressed. We packed and loaded the car. Chris did most of it because my right arm was hurting from sleeping on my back with my arm outstretched to Chris. He helped me choose some books from the shelf in the bedroom. There was a set of 5 stories from James Fenimore Cooper.
Around noon, we hugged everyone good bye and got on the road. I iced my arm. We talked about Peter Schiff's advice for maybe an hour, then we finished our book on CD. We started the next one, and stopped at a rest area. For some reason the signs reminded people to wash their hands, but said nothing about wearing a mask.
Around 5 we pulled into Bristol. We (mostly Chris) moved our luggage to the hotel room. They did not upgrade us this time. Sigh. Then we went to the sushi place where I ordered a sushi roll. It was take-out only, so we waited to pick it up. Then we went to 5 Guys where Chris got burgers and fries.
Back at the hotel, we ate our respective suppers in front of our laptops. I finished the Peter Schiff interview (see below). I listened to one by Dr. Buttar, and checked out his site. I started answering questions on his AHEAD MAP survey. I paused it to watch two episodes of Legends of Tomorrow with Chris. Then I finished the questionnaire, and read the newest e-mail. Then I posted to my blog and we went to bed.

“A vaccine is not going to solve the economic crisis created by shutting down businesses and going off the gold standard. Printing money will cause inflation. We had a bubble economy before CoVid (a very large pin) came along and nothing is going to put the air back in the bubble. The govt isn't sitting on a bunch of money that it only doles out in the event of an emergency. The gov't doesn't support the people, the people support the govt. The govt only has what it takes from the people. The US is spending twice what it gets from the people: deficit spending. We'd better be nice to China because we owe them a lot. Puerto Rico is a tax haven for Americans so many moved there to save money. Invest in gold and foreign stocks and currencies.”

Kimchi for two

I did not hear my alarm go off, but Michele came back to ask about it. Chris got up and turned all my phone alarms off. When I got up later, I checked my phone and saw he'd done it. I read e-mail for awhile in a chair by the TV, then washed up and got dressed. I read some more, then did some yoga stretches because my back hurt.
I listened to an interview with Charles Kirk. I asked Michele to move my laptop to the kitchen table so I could sit and type on my laptop more comfortably. I finished the video, then made and ate breakfast, plus half a banana, seed crackers, and an orange. I talked to Al who was having his lunch at the time.
I started another newsy video. I took a break to walk up and down Angard for fresh air and sunshine. I resumed watching and learning. When I heard Al was going to Food Lion, I got my shoes and went with him. He put on gloves when he got there. I just tucked my hands into my armpits. We looked for raspberry sorbet, but did not find it. I indicated a dark chocolate bar and Al picked it up for me. We checked out and went to the car. He took off the gloves before opening his car door. We got in and he drove home.
I finished that video and started another one. Mostly viral political stuff. Cecily said I should ask Al to buy me some kimchi at the corner store, So I said I'd go and I picked up my purse. I asked if anyone wanted to walk along, and Michele said she wanted kimchi too but didn't have time. So I walked down there and bought two containers, and walked back. Cecily said they should go in the fridge downstairs, and that she would remember when we packed to leave. Faye called with a question about the laptop I left for her.
Cecily cooked fish and squash for supper and Michele made salad. We ate together and had a nice chat. Then Cecily brought out the cake from yesterday and Michele got the ice cream. I cut the cake and handed out the plates. Cecily put the scoops on. I ate two squares of my dark chocolate bar. Then we cleared the table, put the food away, and loaded the dishwasher.
I finished the video on Garbage Science (refuting the study in the Lancet that said HCQ was dangerous.)
Cecily went to bed. I sat in her chair and talked to Al, Chris and Michele. We traded funny stories as the food channel played. Finally Al went to bed. I sat down to type up my blog and then got ready for bed, leaving Chris and Michele to talk about gaming modules.

A tale of two parties

I woke up early but stayed in 'bed' until the alarm rang. I took the first supplement and went back to bed. It was almost 8:30 when I heard someone talking to Patrick. I thought it was Dad, but it was Theresa, Dad's caregiver. She and I had quite a conversation. I gave her Faye's number.
I washed up and got dressed while Chris started laundry. I packed my suitcase and such. I worked on the instrument mask for Dad, doing all the sewing by hand. Theresa watched Dad get ready and do his dentures. When the mask was fixed, I made breakfast. After eating a banana, I turned my attention to hemming the three pairs of pants on the sewing machine. Chris was itching to go, so I had not time to obsess and perfect the process. Theresa took Dad for a walk, and then he rested while she made his lunch.
I said good bye to Dad and Theresa and Patrick. That took a long time. I packed up my laptop, and put the utility room rug back in place. Thanks to Faye's fan, it was dry, I put my freshly washed laundry in my suitcase and packed my pillow. I helped Chris carry our stuff to the car. It began to rain again as we left.
We got to the Damours by 4pm, maybe earlier. We talked. Michele gave me her story to read while she went with Chris to put gas in his car. I read Michele's story after Cecily left to attend to supper. I listened to an interview about blue light and health. I paused it when Michele told me supper was ready.
For supper we had a rotisserie chicken, plus brussel sprouts, carrots, and wild rice. After supper, we had a cake that Michele made. Cecily had two colors of candles, pink for Michele and blue for Chris. They blew out their candles. She asked Michele to cut the cake, but I suggested it should be cut by a disinterested third party. I cut the cake while Cecily dished out ice cream. Then Michele and Chris opened their cards and read them aloud. They had three each.
When the table was cleared, I snuck off to my food box and ate seed crackers and a sweet pepper. Then I resumed the interview about blue light and health. I read e-mail when the interview was over, then listened to my congressman talk about Covid in Alabama. The health inspector guy said half of the almost 600 deaths in Alabama occurred in nursing homes. I took the last of the supplements for today. Then I got ready for bed.

Dry and dry again

When I got up this morning, I wished Chris a happy birthday. I checked on Dad and he seemed to be dressed, just buckling his belt. So I left him alone and started my morning. But when I checked again, he was still in the same spot. I noticed he was wearing his pajama shirt all tucked in like a regular shirt. He had socks on but not shoes. So I helped him with the shoes. Then he went to the kitchen to do his dentures and make himself breakfast. I gave him a fat bomb and asked him questions.
Dad told me about his band mates in high school so I looked them up, and played their theme song, Stardust. Two were deceased, and one was on Facebook but hasn't posted in two years. The kitchen light blazed and burned out. Patrick took it apart and said the round fluorescent bulbs were bad, and maybe the ballast too. Dad shaved for awhile and then I took over. Then we went for a walk because it looked like rain.
He napped and I called William. Michele came over while I was talking to William. I got Dad to tell her some stories from his childhood. Chris took Patrick to the home improvement store for light bulbs. I gave Dad an egg and casserole for lunch. I scrubbed dirt and backing which had adhered to the floor in the utility room. Patrick and I moved the freezer and he vacuumed behind it. I did more scrubbing off and on for the rest of the day. I also used up all the coconut oil to make fat bombs.
Faye came over with a box fan. We set it in the utility room. We talked about a wide variety of subjects. We discussed Faye's hairdresser, who is now working from her home. Chris heated up chicken and cooked brussel sprouts. Dad wanted to talk about the pain in his back. We could not find a heating pad. Faye decided to buy some lidocaine patches at the drug store tomorrow. I ate supper and then Dad sat down and had some chicken too.
Before Faye left, I showed her how to use my old laptop. She talked to Dad, then wished Chris a happy birthday and left.
I brought in some of the utility room stuff that was out on the porch. I arranged the rug so that Faye's fan would dry it over night. I put all the towels in the washing machine.
I monitored Dad while he took his evening medicine and washed his dentures. He went to the bedroom and I helped him get ready for bed. This time he got in bed the right way. Then I wished him good night and shut the door. I sat at my laptop trying to think of all the things I did today. I played a few games of Solitaire waiting for more memories to arrive. Patrick talked to me about this, that and the other. I put the towels in the dryer and shut the door. Then I finished my blog post and went to bed.
* Virginia is opening up a little. I guess there will be more signs like this one. *

Defrosting

Patrick got up at 5am and ran around the house doing something which included taking the garbage out to the curb. I was not happy to be awake so early. I did go back to sleep for a little while. Then, thinking Dad's caregiver was coming, I got up with my alarm and started my usual day. I wanted to watch the caregiver get Dad out of bed, dressed, and ready for breakfast. But no one came. So around 9, I went back to check on him. He was awake and sitting on the side of the bed, wet. He had not taken his synthroid yet. So I gave him that, we struggled to get him into the bathroom. I stripped the sheets and washed them. I wiped his plastic sheet and tossed the chuck. I gave him a cloth to wipe with and something clean to wear. Getting him dressed was difficult and time consuming. He was having trouble following directions and kept getting distracted. Eventually he did get to the kitchen and fix breakfast.
In the midst of this, as a recurring theme throughout the day, I monitored the melting of the ice in the freezer. The floor around it was soaked. I couldn't mop because of all the stuff and the rugs. I put towels down where I could. Later I put them inside the bottom of the freezer and periodically took them out to wring as dry as possible. At times I chipped at the ice and carried the pieces outside.
Another theme during the day was the pouring of oil into a mold to create fat bombs. I left them in the fridge to harden, then popped them out and poured the next batch, 12 at a time.
After breakfast, Dad and I went for a physical walk. Mentally we went down memory lane. I asked him a lot of questions about his childhood. It was very interesting. After the walk, he sat in his chair and took a nap. I sat down to read e-mail, but soon Kevin arrived. I talked with him a little and returned to my laptop. Later, when Kevin said he wasn't feeling well, I took Dad for another walk. When we got back, Kevin ran the vacuum. Dad moved stuff out of Kevin's way. When Kevin was about to leave, I wrote him a check. I realized later that the plants did not get watered.
So then I worked with Dad on getting him to sit at the table and eat. Whereas his mind was really good earlier, now it had regressed. He was not happy about defrosting the freezer. He wanted to know what Patrick and I were doing about the water. Patrick moved the rugs and heavy tool boxes and mopped, but the water was still coming out. Dad finally ate. I gave him a piece of Kevin's chicken, but it looked too red inside for me. I worried about giving it to Dad, but I expect he eats it all the time. I ate leftovers and some seed crackers from my food box.
I suggested another walk, but he wanted to go to bed. But that was a long involved process that I was not familiar with. Exact order matters to him and he wasn't certain of it either. I had to call Faye to find out. I put up his legs and read to him. And he fell asleep. So I woke him up to go to bed. It was early when we started, but late when we finished. He insisted on crawling into bed on his shoulder blades from the bottom of the bed. It was slow because he wasn't rocking side to side.
When he was in an agreeable position, I wished him good night and retired to my laptop. But then I remembered the freezer water and the fat bombs and took another whack at each one. I typed up my blog and got ready for bed.

Taking care of Dad

The three of us stayed up way too late talking. Finally I went to bed and the party broke up. I laid in bed trying to sleep but the noise in my head was so loud. I put a special cloth over the head of the bed to block the router but I guess it didn't work.
I woke early and tried to go back to sleep. I got up when my alarm went off. I took the first supplement, then brushed and swished. Chris got up and we saved water showering together. Then I got dressed. My back hurt so I did some stretches. Then I looked at e-mail, but then caught sight of the time. I packed up quickly and started taking stuff out to the car. Chris joined in. Cecily reminded me to take the kimchi. Then she saw us off.
It was almost 9 when we left, so we arrived at 9:20. As Chris carried stuff in from the car, I went looking for Dad. He was lying crosswise on his bed, with a shirt on that was improperly buttoned. I tried to start the process of him getting dressed and such, but he kept getting distracted. So I left and started my supplement routine and talked to William. When I went back, he was dressed. We discussed socks, and I found a pair of compression socks. I had to help him get them on. He said Faye wanted him and I to both wear masks. I tried to convince him that he should wait until after breakfast, but he wanted it right away. So I followed him as he rollated into the den. Patrick helped him get his mask on. Then Dad went into the kitchen to do his dentures and asked Patrick to take his mask off. I left them to it and went back to the dining room to finish getting my breakfast ready. When I finished, Dad was standing at the sink eating his breakfast. He asked me for the worst banana, so I gave him the one in my food box. He sat at the table to eat it and I sat on the other end. As he ate, I asked him questions about a house we lived in a long time ago. Some things he remembered, and some he didn't. But he said he enjoyed the trip down memory lane.
He sat in his blue chair and went to sleep. I tried to read e-mail, but Patrick was torn between talking to me and going to get lunch. After he left, I went out back to read from the encyclopedia, but that didn't last long. I walked around the yard, noting all the blackberry bushes. I dug in the dirt with my hands in several places to get soil-based organisms. Then I noticed a van in the driveway. I went inside expecting to see Faye, but she wasn't there so I went out front and checked out the van. It was hers. I went back inside and Chris said she had been in but went out back to find me. So I headed back and she found me. We sat in the living room and talked for awhile. Then we started cleaning out the deep freeze. We were not sure what was worth keeping as we chipped it from the layers of frost. I wrote a list for Chris and Faye moved her van so he could go shopping for supper.
Dad woke up and wanted to go for a walk. So Faye and I both went with him. It took him a few laps around the inside of the house to get started. Then we went outside and down the street. I asked him questions about his childhood. On the way back from the near end of the street, he got tired so I brought out the rollator with the seat and Faye pushed him back to the house. Faye got him seated in the blue chair with his legs up, but then he wanted to use the bathroom. I told Faye I would handle it and she went home. I made sure Dad got to the bathroom, then left to give him privacy. I ate some blueberries that Faye found in the freezer and jotted some notes for my blog then went back to check on him. He was walking out with his rollator. I made sure he was seated and gave him some blueberries. Then he dozed off. So I jotted more notes for my blog. I pulled some tubs of 8 year old CoolWhip from the freezer and threw it out. I also found a friendship cake. We'd already thrown out the starter. I turned off the freezer to let it thaw so I could pull more stuff out.
Chris let me know when he finished making supper, which consisted of hamburgers and small potatoes. I stopped whatever I was doing on my laptop and joined him in the kitchen. Dad was sleeping so soundly that I didn't have the heart to wake him. I filled a plate for myself and ate it while reading articles. Later, when the food was cooling off, I woke Dad for supper. I helped him to the table, which took a long time because he had a spasmimg muscle in his back. So I let him be and he figured it out. He asked for a piece of bread, then finished everything on his plate by the time I came back. He got up and went to the bathroom. I washed all the dishes, especially the really greasy ones which required several washings. There wer food containers from the deep freeze and I emptied them in the garden. Then I checked on Dad. He was in the bedroom wanting to turn in early. I indicated his pajamas, but he seemed confused because there were not three pieces to the set. I pulled out another set and left him to dress himself. After an hour of reading e-mail, I checked and he hadn't moved. Indeed, he seemed to be sleeping while sitting on the end of the bed. I gave up all notions of him doing for himself, and I took his clothes off and put his pajamas on. Getting him into bed straight was another long affair. Finally I had to call Chris to get him parallel to the edge. Then I wished him a good night and made my exit.
I posted to my blog while listening to an audio of a virologist talking about Covid-19. Faye messaged me about tomorrow. Then I got ready for bed.
* now that's freezer burn! *

And we arrive...

I got up after first alarm to take charcoal and a binder. I got up after second alarm to get dressed and read latest e-mail. I turned on my phone to check for messages or missed calls. I took more supplements, and listened to Ron Paul. I remembered Sayer Ji talking about how the army spent 660 million dollars on temp hospitals and most were never used. Perhaps they could house the homeless?
I watched our church video, then one on relaxing the vagus nerve. I ate breakfast and packed up the food boxes. Chris ate his leftovers from last night. He made several trips to the car with luggage. Then we got on the road.
We listened to the book on CD while driving to Richmond. We stopped once at a rest stop. We arrived around 4. Michele was there. Cecily gave me the talk about separate washcloths and towels for Chris and I plus separate washbowls, though we will share the same toilet. Anyway, we visited a little bit, then I went for a walk up and down the side street 5 times. Then I got my purse and walked to the gas station to buy kimchi. I took my mask, but not everyone in there wore one. I came back with a small package of the oldest kimchi they had. Cecily let me put it in her fridge. The five of us visited until it was time for supper. Cecily and Michele worked in the kitchen while Chris and Al cooked steaks on the grill. I returned a message on my phone. Then Faye called and we conversed.
The five of us sat down to supper. We had more conversation. Chris had at least 3 glasses of wine. At one point Cecily decided she'd rather be in the den, so we all moved there. We talked together and then she went to bed. We talked with Al until he went to bed. Then the three of us stayed up talking. Chris had more glasses of wine and started tipsy-posting on Facebook. Michele had to correct his grammar. I got out my laptop and typed up my blog. Then we should have gone to bed.

Traveling

Since I stayed up so late last night finishing a video, I slept in this morning. So when I got up, time was short. I left out some of the supplement schedule having accepted that things just aren't going to be possible while we are away. I ran around the house packing and reorganizing things. I could not find a copy of my packing list, so I had to print out another one. I kept thinking of things to add to my suitcase based on things I anticipate doing in Virginia. (Sometimes I am not very good at anticipating.) I made and ate breakfast then rinsed the dishes. I threw out the peony and the turmeric chunks. I wrote down supplements that will be in short supply when I get back from Va.
It rained most of the morning, but had stopped when we packed the car. I moved the two large bags of fabric that Kerry dropped off, into the hall. Then we headed out.
We stopped to gas up. Gas was only $1.50. Then we got on the road. We got into a heated discussion, but finally it blew over. Then we started a book on CD. It wasn't as good as some and the story unfolded slowly. But the weather was good, traffic was light, and we made good time. We did not eat on the trip, but did stop once at a rest stop. When we got to Bristol, we checked into the hotel and they upgraded our room to a suite!
We went across the street to a Mexican restaurant. They seated us at a table outdoors. (No one was seated inside). I saw a couple eating in their car after the waiter brought their food. Other people came and got take-out boxes. Chris and I ate at a table, then he had part of his boxed up and we went back to the hotel.
We carried the last of our luggage up to our room. Chris got on his laptop and I got on mine to check e-mail and listen to an interview. I paused it when Chris cued up Legends of Tomorrow. It seemed early but it was because we had changed time zones. So we laid on the bed and watched. It was during the second episode that Chris' alarm went off. He switched over to his game and killed a bunch of somethings. Then we continued the show. When the third episode started, I left the bed and went back to my laptop to watch two videos before bed. I drank a cup of magnesium water. The first video was an interview with a sheriff that sued the gov't over the Brady bill. That man certainly knew the Constitution and Bill of Rights. He said we had a duty to depose those legislators who make laws to take away our rights. He quoted Justice Scalia a lot. Chris went to bed so I pulled my suitcase into the sitting room and brushed my teeth. Then I watched an interview with Brad Yates with tapping. I wrote my blog post while listening. Then it was time for bed, in both time zones.

Preparing and packing

I got up at 7. I thought stretching my back last night would help me sleep, and it may have. But when I got up, my back was feeling sore and uncomfortable. So after brushing and while swishing, I did some stretches and then sat in a lounger with a heating pad while listening to talks.
Today the rabbit hole took me to the World Economic Forum. On their website there is a circle chart with clickable links. The speaker on the video said there were 200 layers to the links. Aging and 5G and anything else you can think of is in there. And this is all under the heading of CoVId19. Looking at what he presented, it was obvious to me that this information organization system could not have been created in a few months. It certainly lends credence to the theory that this was all planned before the outbreak occurred.
That video mentioned Agenda 21 like it was a bad word. So I looked it up. It was a document too long to read and full of big words strung together, but it seemed to promote sustainability. So I looked for commentary. Some are afraid it would end the middle class, saying our use of gas and electricity are unsustainable so these things have to raise in price to where we don't use them much. Sustainability sounded like a bad word to them. What if the gov'ts promoted the development of solar energy? Wouldn't that make the middle class lifestyle sustainable and affordable for a lot more people?
Chris did laundry so we could pack. I helped fold it, then started making breakfast. I made three, in fact, and packed a box and filled small containers with measured amounts of what I will need next week.
I put kid-friendly fabric on the porch. Kerry came by to pick it up and drop off fabric that the modern quilt guild did not want. I didn't go through it all, but it seemed to be not great stuff. Tina came by with 2 dozen eggs. I didn't have the right cash so I paid her with a check. I boiled 11 eggs on the stove and started to parse out supplements for the week. Chris told me the sun had come out, so I dropped everything and went outside to read for awhile.
When I came in, I put on shoes and went to the post office, hoping for a package. There was one squeezed into the postal box. I know I ordered cacao nibs, but it couldn't have fit into such a small space. It was a bag of supplements.
I kept reading, and watched two videos. I tried to post one on Facebook, but Facebook refused, saying it violated their community standards. I looked up the Rockefellers. I wished I could go to a library for an actual book which couldn't be censored at whim. I wondered if they got into philanthropy to upgrade their public image like Bill Gates did.
I had tuna and soup for supper, then went for a walk and collected wild strawberries. When I got home, I finished parsing supplements and put them in the box. I put blueberries with a square of chocolate and coconut flakes in a dish. I looked up Midlothian weather and packed my suitcase, then ate the blueberries. I started watching Dr. Buttar pose questions to a panel of 100+ doctors to see if they agree with his views on Covid and vaccines and such. I paused it so Chris and I could watch two episodes of Legends of Tomorrow. Then he took a book and retired. I stayed up to watch more of the video and post to my blog. 100% of the panel voted that people should go back to work and living life.
* My peony bud finally unfurled, but now it is dropping its petals. *

Inversion

I got up before 7, just cause I was awake and thinking about Facebook blocking my posts. Chris was already working. I asked him if he could access my Facebook page. When he did, he didn't see anything after April 19th. So he checked my security settings and saw they had been changed from Public to only two people. He changed it back for me, saying it made more sense to him that I had done it inadvertently than that Facebook had done it. I didn't see how I could have since security settings are not easy to find. So then I went back and 'liked' things that I posted recently, hoping people will see them now.
I brushed and swished. I used the inversion table for a few minutes. It felt like being on the chiropractor's table. I watched Teeter videos on how to do stretches and how to adjust the table. There was no way to adjust the table to my center of gravity, except by reducing the leg length, which means the body part is in the wrong place for me. However, there is a lower back support piece that I put on which makes it more comfortable. I went back and forth between the laptop and the table, each time it was better. At the end, I could almost fall asleep in a slightly downward position. However, if I raised my arms to stretch, boom!
I watched a number of videos, mostly interviews. When I could play them out loud, I quilted. Otherwise, I had to sit in front of the laptop and listen. It was after noon by the time I made and ate breakfast, trying to get through another one. Looking through all the videos I haven't seen yet, I noticed that the ones from April seemed so outdated. That made me wonder which of the current ones will seem outdated next month. I watched part of one with Del Bigtree live, but it took too long. So I ended it and put on my walking shoes. I went around the soccer field and down the old road. I saw a bush full of green blackberries.
When I got back from walking, I went to the post office and got a mailer. There was mail, but nothing special. When I got back, I caught up on the daily meditations. I tapped with several videos and an interview. I had a salad for supper, and some strawberries. I got a text from Mary who got the two masks I made already. I cleared out some more e-mail and got the unread ones below 200. Sigh.
Then I quilted in off white and then in turquoise. When Chris was ready, we watched two episodes of Legends of Tomorrow. Then Chris went to bed and I blogged. Now to decompress on the inversion table...

Something to flip over - literally

I got up about 6:45. I heated water and made coffee. I brushed and swished and listened to a QnA with epidemiologist professor Knut Wittkowski. He said only herd immunity will stop a virus. Herd immunity will prevent a second wave. Social distancing and closing schools is slowing down our getting herd immunity and will cause the second wave. We should not believe that we are more intelligent than mother nature who so far has made sure we are a good match for the diseases that we happen to see every year.
I listened to a string of interviews and audios while tapping and cleaning. I chose the ones Chris would most not want to hear. Then I made breakfast and ate it outside in the sun, reading my book. Afterward, I took a shower and sprayed vinegar on the mold/mildew around the tub and on the shower curtain. I put on my facemask and emptied the dust and dirt from the vacuum. I looked at Back To The Future memes on Pinterest and posted one on Facebook. I don't think anyone will see it though because Facebook seems to be blocking me. I looked into herd immunity vs carriers but didn't find any info.
I finished the two black and white face masks while listening to a presentation. Chris came home from work while I was sewing. I paused the audio to go to the post office, but then Chris said he'd been there already and there was no mail. I made two batches of seed crackers and started thinking through how to pack supplements over vacation.
Gabrielle called and said she wanted to bring the inversion table over. I had told her to keep it for a while to see if anyone else was interested and would pay more, but she wanted it gone. I agreed to meet her in the parking lot later. I ate a packet of tuna, and nuts and a can of soup for supper. Our neighbor came over with a bowl of fresh strawberries. They were really good! Then Gabrielle called to say she was on her way. I washed up after supper and got in my car. I met Gabrielle and her husband in the commissary parking lot. They followed me to my house and unloaded an inversion table. I gave her cash. They got it into the garage and set it up by the water heater. Then she tried to show me how to use it, but it wouldn't go. After much fiddling, we got it straight and set for my size. The three of us chatted a while longer, and then they went home.
I watched a video of a Facebook insider talking about how Facebook tracks pages and gives them demerits based on spreading 'misinformation'. I guess I finally racked up too many demerits. There were other articles on the subject of censorship. When Chris was ready, I made my magnesium drink. We watched two episodes of Legends of Tomorrow. Chris went to bed and I stayed up to put the finishing touches on my day.

Changing lanes

I got up at 7:30 and started my supplement routine. I brushed and swished. I listened to an interview with a lady doctor. She said HCQ has to be given early in the progression to be most effective, but FDA and governors are telling doctors that they are not allowed to prescribe it. Only hospitalized patients can have it. Chance of death from heart arrhythmia due to HCQ is roughly 1 in a million according to FDA's data on prescriptions.
I made and ate breakfast early, and took a shower. I rounded up everything I needed for the day and put two masks in an envelope. Then I went to Ruth's for a massage.
Gabrielle was not there yet, so the owner asked me to wait outside since they had a limit of 10 people in the store. There was no chair so I leaned against a post until Gabby showed up. Then we went in together. I used the restroom while she put new sheets on the massage table. When I got to the little room, we talked about this Covid business and shared all the new stuff we'd come across. Finally we started the massage. But the conversation did not change, so it wasn't such a relaxing time. Afterward, we met in her office. I noticed she had an inversion table in her office. She wanted to get rid of it so we discussed it a bit. It would not fit in my car.
From there, I went to the church. Linda was just leaving. We had a nice chat. She wonders if we are really being told the truth about the virus. After she left, I got the checks from the safe and recorded them in the computer. However, I could not get the reports to print out. I followed all the cables, and found nothing wrong. So I took pics of the report screens. Then I packed up. I set an alarm on my phone for 3:30. I went to see Bertha, who lives near the church. We had a nice visit and she held up her newest project for me to photograph. After an hour of chatting, my alarm went off. We said goodbye and I drove to the bank to deposit the checks. I had to wait at the third drive-thru window. After a while, I realized that the person ahead of me had multiple transactions. So I moved my car to the second lane. But he had multiple transactions too. So when the first lane opened up, I drove into it. The clerk processed my deposit quickly, and I was on my way to base.
I got to the post office by the skin of my teeth. I had a package to pick up and an envelop to mail. It was after 4:30 when I left and went home. I took the midafternoon supplements. I looked up the inversion table on Amazon and read the reviews. They were good. Then I read e-mail and did some tapping until the timer rang. I ate a package of tuna, then made a salad. As I ate the salad at my laptop, I suddenly realized the RCMQG Zoom meeting started 20 minutes ago. I found the link in my e-mail and logged in. The meeting was already in progress, but they hadn't done show-n-tell yet. When they got to it, there was no pic of the project I had sent in. They had a color challenge and a pin cushion challenge, but I hadn't done either one. After the meeting, there was a scavenger hunt. Those of us on the call were divided into four groups. We were told what to find and had to grab it and show it on the screen. I wasn't quite certain if they were looking for speed, or number of items. Anyway, some of the stuff I knew I had but could not find. As ladies left the call, I held up the quilt I made from Glenn's pieces so she could see it.
After the Zoom meeting, I started listening to an interview with Virologist Dolores Cahilll who thinks this virus should be downgraded from a level 4 to a level one because C, D, zinc and HCQ are so successful at preventing and treating the infection. She also said coronoviruses are not transmitted through the air so wearing a face mask doesn't help.
I paused it to watch Legends of Tomorrow with Chris. We saw two episodes. I texted with Jennifer, telling her that we would be seeing my dad next week. Chris spent time with his laptop while I wrote up my blog post and got ready for bed.

The things I find in my sewing room

I got up at 8:28 when the alarm went off. I did not realize it was so late. I read the paper on the vaccine experiment in Kansas in 1918. I got dressed and signed into Zoom for the quilter's meeting. I had headphones on because Chris was on a telecon. I thought the ladies were ignoring me, but it turned out that the headphones were blocking audio projection. I took them off and could be heard, but had to be quiet because it was Chris' turn to speak. I put on a different set of headphones and did not have that problem.

Chris went to get his hair cut. I parsed out supplements for two weeks and sewed while listening to Sayer Ji. I paused it and put on my bathing suit and read outside in the sun. Chris brought back packages from the post office, but not the supplements I was hoping for. I made and ate breakfast, I listened to the rest of Sayer Ji's interview: Just like there is a downside to killing off all our bacteria, there is a downside to killing off all of the viruses in our bodies. The vaccine Gates is funding promises to change your DNA so that your body produces the vaccine. This DNA change will be passed on to future generations. I don't trust Gates with my computer, certainly not with my DNA. Sayer recommended eating nothing but organic apples for a day to reset the gut.

I finished mowing the yard. I stopped multiple times to clear the grass clippings and place them in low spots around the yard. One such low spot turned out to be a tunnel. It is now blocked. When I came in, I selected some fabrics from my sewing room, then went for a walk. It was barely spitting when I left the house, but ¾ of the way around, the rain came in earnest. I sheltered under a tree, waiting for the rain to let up, but it didn't. And the tree wasn't keeping me entirely dry, so finally I ran into the rain and got home as quickly as I could.
I listened to an interview. I called Dad, and talked to him and to Faye. Then I had supper, consisting of heart, and a large salad. I put on a tapping video and made two masks while it played. I started another two, this time in black and white. I stopped when Chris left his laptop. We watched Legends of something. Chris went to bed and I stayed up to blog and check a few last links.
* I found this in my sewing room as I was looking for specific fabric. *

My singing debut

I stayed up way too late last night watching an interview that Chris would label conspiracy theory. I got up at 7:45, the hot flashes were particularly bad. I turned on my laptop. Somehow my blog document was doing the automatic numbering thing again and I had to look up (again) how to turn it off. I re-saved it hoping the changes would stick this time.
I watched our church service on Youtube which I helped film last week. After listening to myself sing on the video, I feel like sending an apology to every one in the church.
I watched a video of a 100 y/o woman talking about what it was like for her family during the Spanish flu. I was surprised to learn that the first wave started in Fort Riley, Kansas. She said her mother insisted that the family take ½ tsp of baking soda in a glass of water each morning, and that her family did not get sick, so they made food and delivered it to their ill neighbors.
Chris took a shower while I started watching an interview with Judy Mikovits. I had headphones on so he wouldn't hear it. But when he sat on the couch to put on his shoes, he saw her on my screen and it sparked an emotional response. To be fair, he did calm down and we had a long discussion where we both explained our points of view, but neither of us changed our beliefs.
At 11:30, I made and ate breakfast. It was raining so I did not read outside. Instead, we went to Publix for the usual groceries. I ate half of a banana after putting the food away. I listened to an interview on economic hit men, by a former chief economist. I went on to read other articles. Chris called his mother to talk about food if we go visit them. I talked to Faye, then went for a walk since the rain had stopped. I watched videos on the benefits of HCQ and the unusual restrictions suddenly placed upon a medicine that has been in use for a long time. I posted one to my Facebook page, but I think Facebook is no longer showing my posts.
I ate a few pieces of pork heart and a can of soup for supper. I looked into how to do an audit for a club. I listened to part of a podcast on dental health. I listened to British mathematician Andrew Mather using the WHO's numbers, show that the rise in cases of the virus was never exponential, even though various sources claimed it was, in order to get the public to accept lockdown.
At 8, I made up practitioner supplements for the week. Then I prepared my magnesium drink. Chris called up a movie on Netflix called Agatha and the Truth of Murder. It was actually pretty good. Then he went to bed and I stayed up to write my blog post. I also read that Rockefeller Institute for Medical Research conducted antimenningitis vaccine experiments on servicemen at Fort Riley between January and June of 1918. These men who were having reactions to the vaccine, were sent to Europe to fight in the war.

Faye's birthday

I got up before 8. After brushing and swishing, I took a shower and then quilted. At 9 we signed into Zoom for a Damour family get-together. Afterward, I went to the garage to sort out empty boxes and paper and bubblewrap. I loaded it in my car, then drove to the Korean clinic. They were packing up and much was gone. She said they had a yard sale yesterday and sold most of their plants and other stuff. They had found a house in western Alabama with a natural spring and decided to retire there. She said the phone and internet at the clinic had been cut off already.
When I got home, I read articles and watched an interview with Dr. Zach Bush. He said the virus is not alive, but brings a cyanide hitchhiker so the symptoms of the virus are cyanotic. Chris asked me to make bread, so I put the ingredients in the breadmaker. I tried to make a donation to Faye's birthday charity, but it didn't go through. Then I made and ate breakfast. I read outside for 45 minutes or so in my bathing suit.
I put on a nice outfit and earrings. I went to church to practice with Jennifer. Then the men showed up and we chatted for a bit, then recorded the service. We did not have a sermon because that is going to be mailed in by a previous intern. Jennifer brought me the remains of a bag of apple chips. I stayed to listen to the discussion of how to have church when we reopen on May 31st. We are not supposed to sing because that spreads the virus. Nor say the Lord's Prayer together, etc. I suppose laughing is right out, as well. And everyone has to wear a mask. Sounds like quaker's meeting to me.
On the way home, I stopped at the post office, but there was no mail. I guess junk mail is on lockdown as well. When I got home, I checked the mail. Chris had roasted a pork heart in bacon fat for me. It was tough like jerky but sooooo good. I also ate a can of soup. I watched an interview with Dr. Judy Mikovits. She answered a lot of questions about what really happened. The details are in her book, Plague of Corruption. I saw an article that said Gates didn't vaccinate his kids. Another article quoted him as saying his kids are fully vaccinated. So who knows? But I think if he develops a vaccine that he wants the whole world to get, he and his family should get the first shots on live TV. And those doses should be chosen at random from the first billion that he produces.
I mowed the lawn until the battery needed charging. I hefted it inside and plugged it in. I put blueberries, chocolate, walnuts and coconut flakes in a bowl and called it dessert. Then I did more quilting, this time in purple. I started another interview, then paused it to watch “About Time” on Netflix. We looked up the lead actress because she looked familiar. Then Chris went to bed and I stayed up to do the usual pre-bedtime things.
* Blooming blackberries *

Finally, it blooms!

I got up at 8:30. I took the first supplement, then melted what was left of the coconut oil/baking soda mixture. I rubbed that liberally into and around the itchy spot on my head. Then I brushed, and swished while I worked on the quilt. I did red patches and pink ones.
I read e-mail and watched a video of a Back-To-the-Future cast meeting on Zoom. I ordered some books and a headphone cord from Amazon. I made and ate breakfast while listening to a podcast. Then I sat outside and read. I came in to wipe all the sweat off. I read some more e-mails. Then I put on shoes and went to the post office. I came home with two packages; one of nuts and one of citrus drops. I put on long pants and went for a walk. I did not sweat as much as I had hoped. I visited the peony bush and picked a blossom. I checked out the blackberries, which have finished blooming.
When I got back, I put my peony blossom in water. I watered my plants in pots. I read e-mail for about an hour, then stopped to have supper. I had a can of soup and a handful of nuts. I watched a tapping video. I quilted the yellow patches on the quilt, then started on the blue ones. Using matching thread on top and in the bobbin is creating a colorful back.
When Chris was ready to watch TV, I put some magnesium in water. I washed my dishes, and sat by Chris. He pulled up a movie called Jupiter Ascending. It had a lot of flashy special effects and battle scenes. I didn't care for that part, but the story line was ok.
Afterward, I had Chris check me for ticks. Then he went to bed and I stayed up to blog, hoping Blogger cooperates.

Shungite

I got up before 8. I was in the kitchen by the time Chris started his telecon. After taking the first supplement and brushing my teeth, I mended a bra and worked on the masks. I heard Chris exclaim as he got dropped from the call. After I made an hour of progress o the masks, I checked e-mail. I read articles while listening to interviews. So much content to consume.
Around 11:30 I started making breakfast. Then I read outside for an hour. It was hard to put the book down. I worried about getting burnt, so I went inside. I listened to another interview and finished the masks. Then I started on the scrap quilt. I decided to quilt inside each shape with matching thread. Surely that should minimize wrinkles on the back. I did all the white pieces.
Around 4 I took my midafternoon supplements. Then I walked once around the circle, and brought in the mail. I would have walked further, but decided to take it easy on my foot for one more day. It hardly hurts. I pulled a new watch battery from the fridge and Chris put it in my watch. Then I read e-mail until supper time.
I ate the last of the heart stew for supper. I also made my usual salad. I had a bowl of blueberries with a square of chocolate, a handful of pecans and some shredded coconut. Then I quilted more sections in black while listening to an interview on shungite. That reminded me that my shungite bracelet is still missing.
I stopped to make a magnesium drink when Chris moved to the couch. Then we watched the last episode of Inspector Lynley. I checked out some other things someone suggested to watch, but Netflix wasn't streaming any of them. So who knows what we'll watch tomorrow. Chris went to bed and I stayed up to blog and use my massage ball. Blogging took longer than necessary due to an error that I had to look up to get around.

Going out of business

I woke up before Chris' alarm went off. I went back to sleep after he took his shower. I woke later, but dozed off and on, having a different dream each time. I don't remember any of them. I got up about 8. I started the supplement schedule. I rinsed the sprouts. I washed dishes in the sink.
I bumped a jar off the countertop and it exploded into shards all over the kitchen floor and into the diningroom. My feet were bare, so I could not leave the kitchen. I got a paper towel and wiped the glass pieces out of the way so I could get to the broom. Then I swept the area, then used the dust mop, and finally got out the vacuum cleaner to make sure I got all the pieces.
I made coffee and exercised. I listened to Oprah and Deepak talk about hope and gratitude. I tapped and meditated. Then I cleaned both bathrooms and the kitchen. I showered. I got dressed informally and made breakfast. I ate it outside, then put on nicer clothes.
I went to Korean clinic, knowing he needed me to sort out why the taxes he paid are not showing up on his account. But he also had me make phone calls to cancel his business phone, and internet, and swipe machine, etc. as of next Wednesday. I also wrote an e-mail to his landlord to end the lease. Their business is shut down by order of the governor. They have a conditional contract on their house and want to move to California.
He wanted to give me a foot bath, but I asked her to treat the corn on my foot since my own efforts didn't work. She put me in a cubicle next to another lady that came in (for acupuncture?) and told me not to make noise. She burned off the corn on my heel, and pulled out a hard center. She said something about a virus. I did my best not to make noise, but I did flinch. Although I have been telling myself I want to catch the virus now and get natural immunity to it, when I heard the lady in the next cubicle coughing, I put on my mask. I had to wonder how 'closed' their business was. Before I left, he gave me a LARGE box of onion juice. She hugged me because this might be the last time I see them before they leave. I kinda think he'll have reason to call me in next week.
When I got home, I did not go for a walk. She told me to refrain from walking and not to eat meat for a week. I found an e-mail from Dr. Lee about the taxes already. I called him, then wrote a response to the tax lady. I jotted notes for my blog. I deleted a bunch of e-mail, then read articles.
I made egg salad for supper, and a green salad. I talked to Faye and Dad. She is tired and he is well. I read a few more articles, then started listening to an interview. I paused it when Chris sat on the couch. I made a vit C drink and took a packet of lypomagthreonate. We watched a whole episode. Then Chris went to bed. I stayed up to blog, rinse the sprouts, and get ready for bed.
* I didn't take any pics today, but here is one from my walk on Sunday. *

My first telecon

It was almost 9 when I got up. I started my supplement regimen. I brushed and swished. I worked on the masks, then got the idea to make a special one for Don. He used to report on sports, so I fished out some baseball fabric and made two pleated masks. Dr. Lee called. He wanted me to come in tomorrow morning, but I said no, so he agreed to the usual time. I wrote a card for Don, and put a mask in it. I checked more e-mail, then made and ate breakfast. There was no sun to sit in.
I took the card to the post office. There was no mail to pick up. I came home, and listened to an interview with a Dr from Sweden, where they did not lockdown like we did here. His opinion was that high-risk people are going to die; either now, or when the lock down lifts, so better to safeguard those people and let the rest go back to work. I soaked a cottonball in vit C and placed it above my tooth like a wad of tobacco. And then it was time to leave for church.
I stopped at a store for distilled water and books. Then I went to the church. I dropped off stuff for the food pantry, picked up a bag of apple chips that Jennifer left me, then entered the offering info. After printing the reports, I called Tim about a note that Mary left. Then I called Bertha to see if she wanted some company. She did, so I went to Bertha's house. She gave me a glass of water and I took my midafternoon suppplements. We chatted and she showed me a quilt she was working on. I checked my watch and realized it had stopped hours ago. We chatted a little longer, then I ran to the bank to deposit the offering by 5. I asked if the other branch is going to open again, but she said not soon.
When I came home, I saw a message from Sherry. So I gave her a call, then set out to walk to her house with the book I just finished. When I got there, I gave her the book and we had a nice conversation. Then I walked home. I started supper with a bowl of heart stew. I made a salad and dialed into the stewardship telecon. I finished the salad while listeing, and making one comment when asked. Afterward, I read e-mail until Chris was ready. Then I swallowed a dose of magnesium, made vit C water, and watched Inspector Lynley lose his wife to a gunshot wound. After the show, Chris made his sandwich and went to bed. I stayed up to blog and check e-mail one more time.

The empty Zoom room

I got up at 8. I took the first supplement, then brushed and swished. To use up some scraps lying on my table, I cut out pieces for 8 masks. At 10 I sat down for Zoom meeting with the Monday quilters. I read e-mail while waiting for it to start, but then got a notice of our leader not able to get into Zoom. Chris had a meeting at the same time, but it didn't last long.

I used the solution from yesterday to do another nasal rinse. It seemed to help with the tooth pain. I read articles until breakfast time. I made breakfast, and took it outside. I put a footstool under my ripped reclining lawn chair so I could sit on it. I ate breakfast there and read a book by Linus Pauling. He pointed out studies on Vitamin C where the data showed a benefit, but the authors concluded that it did not. Anyone who only read the conclusion, would not know there was a >10% benefit.
When I came in, I read an article from Chris that set out to debunk Mikovits. At least one citation did not exactly say what the author used it to claim. I ate half a banana coated in cinnamon. I watched some tapping videos and also a video link from our choir director showing a choir singing the Hallelujah chorus from home.

At 3:30, I stopped to fuel up, then went to the post office, and brought home the mail but no packages. I texted two people, then went for a walk. Although it was sunny out, the wind was cool. I picked wild strawberries for later. When I got home, I continued reading e-mail. Then I had a bowl of heart stew for supper and made a large salad. After supper, I played an interview with Mikovits. First I listened with headphones, but then Chris assured me that he couldn't hear it because of the dishwasher, so I unplugged the headphones and listened while sewing masks.

I stopped sewing when he sat on the couch. I made my usual drink and we watched Inspector Lynley. Then I sat by my laptop to compose my thoughts about today. He finished up something on his laptop and went to bed. I stayed up to soak sprouts and get ready for bed.
* I am going to miss all this greenery when we move to Utah. *

Mother's Day

We got up at 8:30. There was a Mother's Day card from Chris on my laptop. I brushed and swished as I checked e-mail. I watched our church service. Then I went to take a shower. The hygrometer in the bathroom read 50. I turned on the exhaust fan and proceeded with my shower. Soon Chris got in, saying he didn't realize I was in there. After he finished and got out, I did 5 rounds of hot and cold rinse, then got out. I forgot to read the hygrometer at that point. I turned on the box fan and pinned up the shower curtain to dry. I got dressed and put the charcoal packs out to recharge in the sun.
Michele called. She said she made me pancakes for breakfast, then ate them because I wasn't there. We had a lovely chat for some time. After the call, Chris and I went to Publix for groceries. When we got back, I washed stuff and Chris put it away.
Then I made and ate breakfast. I put on my bathing suit and sat outside in the sun. I finished my book, so I came inside. I put on pants and went for a walk to see the peonies. They were not quite blooming yet. When I got home, I turned off the box fan. The humidity was 54. I watched the last episode of Interconnected. I took my afternoon supplements, and put out more for the week. I checked e-mail. I watched the Bulletproof sinus rinse video and had to try it. I mixed up a bowl of treated water, but it did not work for me because the stuff did not come out of my mouth. Maybe I wasn't inhaling enough liquid. I tried it using a eyedropper and tilted my head back, putting drops of it in my nose. That worked much better. I brought in the charcoal packs, and the humidity was then down to 50.
I watched a video on the current situation and how there were clues in the last 5 years that some people knew it was coming. I texted with Kurt about mainstream news vs the videos I watch. Then I took a break from the computer. I sewed a backing for the quilt top. I looked all over this place and in the garage several times, hoping to find my quilt frame. I wanted to use it to hold the backing taut while I sandwiched it. But I did not find the frame. So, I spread the backing on the floor, spread batting over it and the quilt top. I pinned the top down, then turned the whole thing over and repinned it, smoothing out the backing a little more. That method is not quick or accurate, but it was all I could do in this small space.
Chris came in to watch TV but the quilt was in his way, so he started folding laundry. When I finished, I helped him and we put our own away. Then I made magnesium water and we sat down to watch Inspector Lynley solve a mystery. Afterward, I posted to my blog and got ready for bed.
* I figure this bud will be in full bloom next week. *

Recording the service

I woke up in the middle of the night, wired, and I didn't know why. I had a hard time going back to sleep. I got up at 8 to use the bathroom and turned on the router, thinking Chris was right behind me, but he went back to bed. So I laid down again and we didn't get up until after 8:30.
I started the supplement regimen, with extra magnesium. The wifi around here has doubled and I don't know if we are getting signals from further away, or if people nearby have more than one signal. Magnesium is supposed to help with that. I wrote my blog post for yesterday and uploaded it. I read an article about homeless people: many shelters are closing, soup kitchens run out of food, nobody in the streets to panhandle from. And their opportunity for sanitation is growing worse.
I sat in the sun outside and read for awhile. It was not as warm as it looked. I made and ate breakfast. I sanitized six masks and out them in a bag.
Jennifer sent me a message saying she was going to arrive 30 minutes early to practice. So I washed up, and dressed up in a dark blue outfit. I drove to church. She was there with her daughter. We practiced the music together and then with the pianist when she arrived. I gave the pianist 6 masks and she put money in my purse. At 3, some men came in to videotape the service in parts. The sermon will be e-mailed in from a former intern. We ladies sang and Charlie did the readings and the prayer. Lars talked about having live church services again in June. Afterward, I put a check in the safe. I put some of my extra masks in the box outside.
I went home, intending to stop at the gas station, but I forgot. Chris was not home. I called Dad, and when he didn't answer, I called Faye. She said to call back in 10 minutes. I puttered around a bit and Chris came back. I called Faye and we had a nice chat. Then I went for a walk, but got chilly so I cut it short.
I stood in the sunshine at the back door. Chris roasted brussel sprouts in the oven. I made egg salad and a vegetable salad. I ate those while reading e-mail and listening to something.
I dissolved a tbl of magnesium in a cup of water, and made another cup with vitamin C. We sat on the couch to watch Inspector Lynley help solve a case and then get cleared of the charges against him. Chris had washed the sheets, so we dressed the bed. He retired and I stayed up to blog.
* This is one of the masks I put in the bin at church. *

Here comes the sun

I stayed up late watching some funny videos on YouTube. Then I went to bed, slept pretty well, and got up at 8. It was a dreary day. I guess the sun on lock-down. I brushed and swished, then made two pleated music masks. I turned on my laptop and checked e-mail.
I listened to a tapping audio. I looked up how to turn off auto-numbering because it is so aggravating when I am taking notes. While listening to a summit episode, I cut gray strips for borders. I chose another gray fabric to use as well. But it must have been double-wide. I had to fold it multiple times to cut it, so I pulled a thread aaaaaaaaaall the way across to make sure I got a straight fold and cut. I pieced it together with the lighter gray and made four borders.
I made and ate breakfast, listening to the next summit. I submitted orders to Amazon and Swansons for supplements and health foods. I hardboiled a dozen eggs and left them to cool.
I asked Chris if the June 30th stop-move-order might be extended. He said he didn't know, but other options include him doing that job from here, him moving now and me moving later, or getting an exception to policy for us both to move sooner. I watched the Corbett report on Bill Gate's plan to vaccinate the world. I wouldn't trust Bill Gates with my computer, certainly not with any fast-tracked vaccine his company comes up with. How many times has he released software that didn't have the bugs worked out yet? I also read about a study of vit D level and severity of Covid infection. Gotta get some sun next time it's available.
I finished sewing the borders on the quilt top and took a pic. It kinda looks ok after all. I wanted to channel quilt it, but that would accentuate all the lines that aren't quite straight.
I went to the post office and picked up a package. Still no junk mail. When I got back, I went for a walk, even though it seemed on the verge of rain. I could see a sliver of blue sky off in the distance. I walked around the circle, concentrating on that blue sky and by the time I finished, the sun was shining on the neighborhood. I made salad for supper, plus some egg salad for protein.
I listened to talks and read articles until Chris was ready. We watched Inspector Lynley solve a case and get arrested. I drank my magnesium water, swallowed a packet of lypomagthreonate and had a capsule of melatonin. I felt so sleepy that we both went to bed afterward.
* So, any ideas what kind of quilting would enhance this design? *

People get so emotional!

I had a hard time waking up. Probably due to the packet of magthreonate. I finally arose at 8:30. Chris was on a call. I took the first supplement and brushed my teeth. I finished the masks I started yesterday. One was cut too close to the edge so I had to open it up and re-do the seam.
Then I turned on my laptop. I checked e-mail while I listened to the Live Longer Feel Better summit. I took my supplements on the schedule. I cut pieces for 4 more masks. One had lines of music so I tried to cut it so the lines matched up.
At 11:30 I made breakfast and ate it while listening to the Interconnected summit. Then I ate half a banana while sitting on the lawn chair which was resting on the ground now that the fabric tore all the way. I read on my back, and then on my stomach, to give my legs an equal tan. Although the book was interesting, I came in when the backs of my legs felt hot. I resumed the summit, and ate some seed crackers with bacon fat mayo.
I finished two of the masks, for a grand total of 106. I went for a long walk, picking some wild strawberries and plaintain leaves along the way. When I got back, I called Cecelia and we had a nice long chat.
After the call, I drove to the post office, but there was nothing to pick up. I checked house mail and found one letter for Chris. I tried to call Don at his new nursing home, but there was no answer. I picked out a card to send instead. Before I could compose a message, my phone dinged. Tina was letting me know she was headed to Joanns. I drove over there and parked. I stood outside my car, and soon she drove up. I bought two dozen eggs from her and we had only a brief conversation because she had other customers there. I went home the other way, Gate 8.
I started making supper and called Faye. We talked for over an hour. I talked to Dad as well and was please to hear that his conversation skills had improved.
I read about Covid deaths in nursing homes, and how some states have granted the homes immunity from lawsuits. I am not sure that will make them safer places to be. I am so glad my dad is not in a nursing home. I made a salad using store bought greens and the hydroponic lettuce. The hydroponic lettuce is not doing so well. I wonder if I need to change the water?
I got caught up in reading all the comments on the article. People get so emotional! When Chris turned on the TV, I made my magnesium drink and took a packet of lypomagthreonate. I meant to take it earlier but supper ran late so I missed the opportunity. We watched Inspector Lynley solve another case, but this time the bad guys did not go to jail. He could not prove they did it.
Chris went to bed and I stayed up to blog.

Too much information

I put my laptop to sleep last night but it came back on, so I turned it off before going to bed. In the morning, after getting the coffee started and putting fabric in the washer, I sat down at my laptop and saw that it was only sleeping. I didn't think it could be reactivated remotely when it was turned off.

I put some clothes and the fabric Cherry gave me, in the washing machine. I watered the plants while swishing the second time. I did my exercises and drybrushing. I moved the fabric to the dryer, and turned on the wifi. I made coffee. Although I did tap, I did not meditate because I was trying to catch up on all the interviews I wanted to listen to.
Afterward, I started cleaning, and vacuuming. I took a shower, and got dressed. I turned on a box fan to dry out the bathroom. I washed dishes and the kitchen counter tops. I ran the breadmaker for Chris, who left the sugar where I could reach it. I ironed the fabric while continuing to listen to interviews from the various summits.
I wanted to read outside in the sun, but it was a little too cool and windy. So I sat just inside the open door and read my book. Then I got hungry and made breakfast.

I texted with Stacey. Chris called me to get numbers from his passport. He said he'd be late, so I went to post office and picked up a package. There was no junk mail. When I got back, I nailed boards along the bottom of the fence and fixed an upside-down board. It was harder than it sounds because the nails kept bending when I hit them.

I listened to more interviews and wrote notes about SIBO on a piece of paper. I haven't try a nasal rinse, which came recommended. I cut out male mask pieces and started sewing. I paused to make supper. As I ate, I listened to an interview about retroviruses. In animal tissues that vaccines are grown on, sometimes they survive in the vaccine. They can open the host genetic code and get in. Because the genetic code is opened, other animal DNA can get in as well, and this has not been studied to see how big a problem it might be.

I paused the interview and we watched Inspector Lynley solve another case. Chris went to bed and I stayed up to answer all the e-mails Kurt sent me, and to blog.
* I didn't take any pics today so here is one of a sweet potato trying to root. *

Zip ties for the win!

I got up late, probably a reaction to the mag threonate. Chris was on a call. I brushed and swished, and all the usual. There were lots of articles to read and audios to listen to. I worked my way through articles and supplements until I came to breakfast. I wanted to eat it outside, but the sky was overcast and promising rain.
After breakfast, I asked Chris to put a box of quilting library books in my car. I went to the post office to pick up the package from yesterday. Then I went to the Burger King parking lot to give the books to Carol, who is the librarian of the RCMQG. She and I talked for a bit, then she had to run. I went to the church.
I saw cars in front of the church so I walked to the sanctuary to see who was there. I talked to Jennifer and Cherry, who had just finished picking hymns for Sunday. I asked Jennifer if I could make her a music mask. I held out mine as an example and she took it and liked it. I was taken off guard, but knew I wasn't sick when I wore it so she should be ok. Cherry gave me some fabric that she had bought to make masks and I agreed to make her four. I get to keep the leftover fabric so I didn't charge her). They left and I completed my task of entering info into the computer and printing reports. I took the offering and drove to the bank to make the deposit. I asked for extra deposit tickets and they gave me a lot!
When I got home, I realized I had missed a phone call. So I called back Leanne. We talked for a long time. I quietly did some sewing on the quilt top, and then laid it on the floor to try to square it up. The best I can say about it was that it was a quadrilateral. I sewed a long strip on the bottom and trimmed it diagonally, which helped. What it really needs now is even borders to help hold its shape.
The sun came out, so we hung up: she went to walk her dog and I went to take my own walk. I followed a different path from yesterday so I could check out other people's fences. I saw downed trees and some flattened fences. Two doors down, they lost the entire back fence wall.
When I got back, I ate some ground beef for supper. I also had frozen blueberries and a square of chocolate. Our fence was ripped off by the wind, if you can imagine that. So first I hammered tight what was still loosely in place. Then I tried to lift the fallen part but it was too heavy. Chris came out and picked it up. He hammered it back in place but there wasn't enough to properly hold on to. Plus, the nails were rusty and bent. So I brought out some long zip ties and we tied the fallen part to the posts which were still there. I think it will last till we leave, but he doesn't.
I listened to a interview while checking e-mail and playing solitaire. When Chris was ready, I paused the audio to make a magnesium drink and have a packet of lipo magthreonate. After the show, Chris made his lunch and went to bed. I stayed up to blog. There were only two things on today's list and I didn't do either of them.

The list works

I heard Chris get up and went back to sleep. I woke up later, and noticed something in my hair. So I got out of bed and asked Chris if I had ticks. He checked me and only found a clump of dead skin cells. I washed up and got dressed. I rinsed the current batch of sprouts. I went around the house writing a list of things I should do today, knowing that as soon as I turn on my laptop all such thoughts will disappear.

Chris took a shower and went to work to print some stuff. I printed papers for counting money tomorrow. I folded the laundry, and put mine away. I played an episode of Interconnected, which is about connections to the gut. I paused it to Zoom with the quilting ladies for 40 minutes. I resumed the video on the desktop so I could hear it while parsing supplements in the kitchen. He said the higher the use of antibiotics in a state, the greater the rate of cancer per capita.

Before I finished with the supplements, Chris came home and jumped on a call, so I paused the audio. When I finished, I listened to something through headphones at my laptop. Chris finished his telecon and went on foot to pay the rent. I resumed the audio playing on the desktop and proceeded to make breakfast. Chris came home while I ate breakfast in front of my laptop.

I called the doctor's office to make sure they were there. Then I drove to the chiropractor to deliver the masks. On the way back, I stopped at the post office, but the front desk guys were out to lunch so I did not get to pick up a package. When I got home, I tried to go for a walk, but it started sprinkling. I listened to something without headphones while I washed strawberries and froze them, washed dishes, and refilled things.
The sprinkling had stopped, so I went for a walk. I investigated the peonies, which are still in the bud stage. I checked out other people's fences along the way. At one house, men were demolishing a fence and loading the wood on a truck. I wanted to shout “Hey look, Elvis!” and then grab some of the wood and run home. I got back in time to go to the post office again, but forgot. I re-ordered supplements from Swanson. I put ozone cream on a q-tip and placed it on my tooth. I checked the mail, and found an Amazon box by the front door. I opened the box, and put stuff inside where each thing might belong.

I made a salad using some hydroponic lettuce and some store-bought greens. I ate it at my laptop along with some ground beef. My tooth hurt again so I put silver on a q-tip and covered it in ascorbic acid. I held it on my tooth while I put on an interview of Dr. Levy and his virus prevention protocol. While it played, I sewed scraps together to add to the top previously shown. I stopped when Chris sat down and queued up the next episode of Inspector Lynley. I swallowed a packet of liposomal magnesium threonate and sipped my magnesium drink while we watched the show. Afterward, Chris went to bed and I put on my new blue-blocking glasses, which are easier to read through than the old ones. I stayed up to blog and soak my sprouts. Everything on my list is checked off except fixing the fence.

Down by the river

My back hurt when I went to bed last night and I was afraid I might not be able to get up this morning. But, though we stayed in bed late, I was able to get up. I put oil on the itchy spot and sat at my laptop to watch our worship service. I had to cover the links on the right so as not to get distracted. At the end, Stacey and Eric said goodbye to the church and it made me sad. Then I took a shower and got dressed. I watched part of a video on a pleated mask with different style of ties. I decided it wasn't worth the extra time to make the ties. Then I went on to another video.

Michele called me. She wanted to know how to clean her garbage disposal. We talked for close to an hour (although not just about the disposal). Then Chris and I went to Publix for groceries. Most people were wearing masks. I am seeing a lot more handmade ones now. On the way home, Chris wanted to stop at a Mexican place that only does take-out. So we did. He walked to the window to order and I sat in the car. I watched a man sitting on the curb with coconuts ranged beside him. Eventually I walked over to see what was up. He was selling them for $4 to $6 depending on size. I bought a small one. He chopped at one end with a machete. Chris was already in the car with our food, so I joined him and we went home.
We carried the groceries in. I washed the cans and packages. I opened a small hole on top of the coconut and put in a straw. Sipping the water out was not easy because there was no way for air to get in so water could come out. When the water was out, I chipped away at the meat inside while listening to the QnA for Truth about Vaccines. It was a tough job and I came close to regretting my purchase. I also ate the tongue burrito that Chris bought for me. I left most of the wrap behind and Chris finished it off.
I put on my bathing suit, and sat outside and read in the sun - until the chair fabric ripped under me. I continued reading but on the ground. I wondered if I should get a new lawn chair or try to put new fabric over the frame. When I had enough sun, I came in and changed. I listened to something else and did some sewing. I put a Dr Scholls corn cushion on my heel. I hope it really works, otherwise I have to let the Korean doctor burn the corn off.
Chris drove us down to the Tennessee river that flows by the arsenal. NASA floats in big pieces of rockets for testing. But we didn't see any of that. We walked around, looking at the boats on the water, and people sitting at picnic tables enjoying the weather. We came across a turtle in the middle of the road. Chris picked it up and carried it to the nearest boat dock. He placed it in the water and it sank. I was disappointed because Chris said we could watch it swim away. We walked a little further, then returned to the car. On the way back, I asked what the pink flowers were beside the road. Chris stopped and picked one for me. But neither of us knew what it was.
The wind picked up a great deal as we drove home. There was only a tiny bit of precipitation. When we pulled up, we saw our plants were overturned. I brought the hydroponic lettuce in. I noticed that a section of our fence fell down. Chris helped me put it back up, but it did not stay there.
I parsed out practitioner supplements for the week. Chris cooked ground beef from the freezer. Our neighbor texted that fences fell all over the neighborhood. I investigated Black Mirror, and Idiocracy in case they were something we might enjoy watching. But one had disturbing story lines and the other wasn't available. I ate some of the beef Chris cooked. He made it spicy. I also had a few leaves of lettuce. Chris called his parents to assure them that we were ok. I listened to a monologue on Bill Gates. It was not favorable. I paused it so we could sit together and watch The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency. It was the second episode on the same disc. And it was quite good. We'll have to order more for next month.
Chris went to bed and I sat down to write my blog and finish the monologue. I had a headache and the left side of my jaw hurt, too.
* The storm didn't last long - just long enough to give Housing a reason to tear down the fences. *
