He lost his head

Monday

I got up at 7:30, having battled RLS again. I went through most of my morning routine.

I ate lots of yogurts, taking samples and then emptying the jars which I washed and put in the oven to sterilize. I planted 2 sprouted cabbage heels. I looked all over for leftover headbands from a previous Easter project with no luck.

I changed clothes and went to ACS for the volunteer luncheon. Chris and Michele came. Several volunteers were missing. Miss Emily said nice things and passed out goodies to each of us. We also got a certificate and a picture was taken. After the luncheon, I went to the library to check out a book. I stopped at the post office on the way home and picked up a large box of teas.

I brought in the milk and eggs. I pasteurized the milk and put it in jars. I added the yougurt samples and left them in the dehydrator to ferment. I laid in the sun and read from the book.

I unwrapped the gopher that was in a trap. I released the body. It was a nice specimen. I cut off his head and threw the body where the birds could get it. I put the head in bleach water to clean the skull.

I picked hymns for Sunday and put away previous selections. I went to the library to make copies. I taped the music pages together.

I redressed and went to band. We played through the hymns for Sunday and the songs for Talent Night. Chaplain does really good imitations. He asked for a CD player. When I got home, I put the CD player where Chris would take it to work for the chaplain. I ate mushrooms and ham soup.

I went mowing down the street and across my front lawn. I checked the ferments, took some out of the dehydrator and put others in. I worked on my blog. I made tea, then we watched Criminal Minds. I looked up actors, then looked for refill supplements. Finally I went to bed.

Dinner with the Germans

Sunday

I got up after 8, thinking it was later, but having slept well. I went through my morning routine. Chris gave me a massage. He took his shower while I had a steam session. Then I showered. I ate fiber gel, used the red light for 15 minutes. I read articles online, then laid in the sun. I forgot to make up supplements for the week. I made and ate breakfast without them, then got dressed for church. I took the cheese squares with me.

The service started with praise songs, a prayer for the offering, two scripture readings, and the sermon. Then the band played two hymns. Afterward, people stood around and chatted. A few people ate cheese squares, but there were still some to take home. Jenni and I agreed to walk at 3.

I went home. I read online even though I should have been parsing supplements. I changed clothes and ate several kinds of yogurt. I met Jenni at the school and we walked almost a mile. Then I went home.

Again, I read online. I started playing Solitaire, hoping to get to the next victory image. At 5:30, Chris was ready to go, but we determined that the dinner started at 6. I changed clothes again. I took pear leaves from the dehydrator and put them in a baggie. I started parsing supplements.

At 6 we went to the LDS church off post. They were having a Mexican dinner for the German army and people from Dugway attended. We sat with Jenni. Michelle put on the party so she opened it, then let a man speak to the army in German. His wife said the prayer. Michelle invited the Germans to go first in line, since in their country the soldiers eat last. Eventually civilians got in line. Our plates were filled with food as we went down the line. Then we sat to eat and talk. Chris went over to another table to chat with them. Other people came to my table to chat with me. Eventually people started leaving. Chris introduced me to a few people and then we left.

When we got home, I took some charcoal capsules. I finished the supplements. We made the bed with clean sheets and put away the laundry. I worked on my blog and made tea. We watched an episode of Criminal Minds. I did a deep dive on something, then went to bed.

The gopher has landed

Saturday

I got up at 9 after having a bad session of RLS during the night. I tried lots of things – was it the vit C that finally worked? Chris was still at church. I puttered around doing the every morning stuff. I used the red light for 15 minutes and found there was only a page or two left in the book I was reading.

I went to the 3D class. It was much smaller than last week. Afterward, I checked out a book. I went home and made fiber gel. I read outside. I made and ate breakfast.

I went to chapel for sewing class. No one came and the book turned out to be one I have read recently. So I pulled weeds from the church flowerbeds. Wendy came by to help with sewing, but we talked and then she went home. Before 4, I gave up and went home.

Chris was making ham soup. I read some e-mail, then laid in the recliner and actually took a nap. When I got up, I read more e-mail. Then I got a bowl of soup and somehow it tipped into my lap. I had to run to the bathroom to get the hot pants off. Chris started cleaning it up. I put on clean pants and finished cleaning. He made me another bowl of soup and I ate it outside.

Just then, John and Michelle arrived. Chris fed them soup as well. I joined them in conversation. Then just before 7, I went to the chapel to open it for Project Night. I set up machines and cutting boards and an iron. Jenni came and claimed one machine. John and Michele came with their own projects. Then the Clarks came with their four children to make the shopping totes. Wendy came to help. Cedric and Casey also came with their own projects. Wendy and I cut fabric for the totes. We had the children do the straps first, then the inner bag and the outer bag. Only Moira finished. Other people left early. Jenni helped me clean up. It was after 9 till I got home.

I saw Casey had dropped off a dead gopher, still in the trap. I wrapped it in a plastic bag and left it on the porch so no animal would run off with it in the middle of the night.

I made tea. We watched Criminal Minds. I posted to my blog with an ice pack under my elbow. Then I went to bed.

Apple sprouts have been delivered

Friday

I got up after hearing my first alarm. I got ready for the day. I did a red light treatment on my chest while I read a book. I finished taking the basting out of the pants and ironed them.

I went to open the chapel for Math Morning. Casey came. The adults talked while the children pretended to work on their math. Randy said a big steam train called Big Boy was on display in Ogden tomorrow.

Afterward, I went home to get the pants, then to the gym to deliver them and get paid. I delivered yogurt to Saronna and got invited in. We talked. Randy made eggs for everyone. Suddenly I remembered the apple sprouts. I went home to get them and gave them to Randy to plant. We chatted some more.

I went home, ate fiber gel and made breakfast mix. I read outside, then made and ate breakfast. I added to the grocery list and we went to the commissary and the shopette. We took our purchases home and decided there wasn't much reason to go to Tooele. Then Melanie's called and left a message about getting in some chamomile tea.

I read e-mail. I took the stirmate apart, checked battery, and tried a new battery, to no avail. I ordered another refurbished one. I threw away the old one.

I looked up questions online. William called. Chris left for a party so I stayed to finish my call. I ate supper. I rearranged eggs in jars of beet juice, then peeled more eggs. I listened to a few more audios. I refilled the nut containers.

I went to the clinic to pick pear leaves. Most of the suckers were gone so I wondered if someone had cut them already. I washed the leaves, laid them out on racks and put them in the dehydrator.

I looked for EM fertilizer. It was confusing. I posted to my blog. I poured tea and put some yogurt in a small container. I took yogurt and tea to Casey's house. I had notes for The Lighthouse, but they didn't seem to work. I tried playing Indiana Jones and the something Machine. But it kept crashing. So I went back to The Lighthouse, looking for the amulet. About 11, Michelle came back from the party Chris went to. We chatted for awhile, then I went home. Chris was asleep so I got ready and joined him.

From Corporal to Sargeant

Thursday

I got up at 7:30 having slept remarkably well, best sleep in a long time. I queued up the hearing with RFK Jr and the Ways and Means Committee. While listening, I did the usual first morning stuff. Then I packed yogurt and small cups in the bag with my Bible.

I went to the chapel for Bible Study. Only Diane showed up and her husband said Popken was getting promoted today at 9:30. So she made a sign canceling Bible Study and I taped it to the door. I went home to put the yogurt back. I watered the plants and got a warmer coat.

I went to the auditorium for Popken's promotion ceremony. Chris wasn't there because he was attending the Council of Indian Nations. I stayed to talk to now-Sgt Popken and Diane and her husband.

Then I went to the chapel. I pulled out fabric for tote bags. I cut out the pieces I needed. I cleaned up a little. I put a garbage bag in the kitchen garbage can. I took the pieces home to sew.

I ate fiber gel. It was too windy and cold to read outside, so I read inside. I sewed the first seam on the outer fabric and the lining. Then I made breakfast and watched The Highwire. I read some more from the book with an ice pack under my arm. I finished the bags and took pics to post with the class announcement. I posted for class and for Math Morning.

I basted the hems in the pants from last night. I hand-stitched the hems while listening to a podcast. I heated supper in the toaster oven. I started taking the basting out when Chris came home with a pizza. I continued listening to the very long podcast. I made tea and we watched Criminal Minds. I read more e-mail, resting my arm on an ice pack, then went to bed.

Hemming sounds so easy

Wednesday

I got up at 7:30, not having slept well. I prepared for coffee morning. After meditating and tapping, I cleaned kitchens and bathrooms. I washed dishes. I read outside in the sun. I checked e-mail. I had a steam session. I took a shower and laid down.

I got up, dressed and made egg salad. I gathered up dried leaves from the dehydrator and put them in a baggie. I checked e-mail, then took the mended comforter to Popken. I listened to his side of the story.

I went to the gym to pick up a pair of unhemmed pants. I stopped at the post office, then went home. I realized I didn't have the room to lay the pants out. I looked up hemming, and making a tote bag. I raked and mowed.

I read e-mail, then laid out the pants. I measured, marked, cut, then folded up the hem and basted. But the legs were not the same length. I removed the basting, measured again and again. It kept kept changing. I gave up and watched Call the Midwife, then went to bed.

Probiotic gummy yogurt?

Tuesday

I got up before 7:30, having slept well. I exercised, etc. I put leaves from the dehydrator in a baggie. I got a text about donating to the swap shop. I drove to the post office to unlock the swap shop. I found some probiotic gummies in my purse so I put them in milk to see if they will make yogurt. I rolled up plastic bags and stuffed them in containers to cut down on the bulk. I cut down lots of boxes.

I had a steam session and took a shower. I ate fiber gel, then read outside. I made lunch, ate, then walked to the post office to lock the swap shop and pick up the mail.

I listened to something that made me sleepy.  Before I fell asleep, I went to the library for copies and stayed to chat. I went by the gym to sign up the band for Talent Night. I cut some suckers from the crab apple tree at the front entrance. I brought them home and cut the leaves off. I washed the leaves and put them in the dehydrator.

I mowed in the back yard. I saw Chris was home from work. I raked and mowed in the side yard. I came in and he told me he has an interview on Friday for a job in Chicago. News to me.

I ate some leftovers. I checked e-mail. I listened to an interview Faye sent. I worked on my blog. I made tea. We watched an episode of Criminal Minds and I watched some Call the Midwife before going to bed.

picking fruit tree leaves

Monday

I got up at 8. I brushed, etc. I processed the milk just delivered. I put sauerkraut in some of it to see if it would ferment. I washed jars and put them in the oven to sterilize. I made cheese with the second half of the milk. I washed, soaked and dried three packages of strawberries and threw them in the freezer.

I ate fiber gel, then read outside. I made and ate breakfast. I walked to the post office, where I picked up a package of shaped metal rods. I opened the package and put each one where it could help a plant.

I looked for leaves of fruit trees online. I found 8 kinds at one site and ordered them. I had to order blueberry leaves from a separate site. I listened to interviews online while I mended the comforter that Popken dropped off.

I went to pick pear, apple and peach leaves. I washed the leaves, then put them in the dehydrator. I jammed the leafless stems in a planter. I picked hymns for the band for Sunday. I jotted notes, then ate ham.

I went to the chapel for band. When I realized I had left my music in the driveway, I went back for it. We played through the hymns and then songs for Talent Night. I put a stick in the rod pocket of the Communion quilt.

I came home and mowed the lawn for 45 minutes. I worked on my blog. I watched a video on turning aspirin to dinitro-something. Lots of work. But I wish I could do the first part where he distills two bottles of aspirin into pure salicylate.

I made tea, and we watched TV. I took the leaves out of the dehydrator and put them in labeled bags. I put new leaves in the dehydrator along with some jars of yogurt-to-be. I watched some Call the Midwife and went to bed

Voter information becomes public

Sunday

I got up at 8, did some Sudoku and brushed my teeth. I rinsed the sprouts and stirred the vinegar and watered the plants. I checked e-mail and looked for fruit tree leaves online.

I made cheese squares, then Chris gave me a massage. I ate fiber gel, read e-mail, then made and ate breakfast. I got dressed for church.

I took cheese squares to the chapel and left them in the back. I put the hymn music on the stand. Jenni sat with me. We sang praise songs, then later I read the scripture readings. Chaplain gave the sermon. We played the hymns, then he gave the blessing.

I thought we were done so I was talking to people when he started gathering us into a circle for Communion which he had forgotten to do. So we had Communion. Then we chatted among ourselves. When I headed to the back to get the cheese squares, Anca came over quickly to get a few and then Bryce came over. He looked at me, then at the cheese squares, then at me again. I got the message. I put the cover on and handed him the container.

I called Michelle to come to the sauna. I called Steve to turn it on. I went home to change and check e-mail. I went to the gym and met Michelle there. We went into the locker room and Jenni showed up. We went in the sauna and chatted for over an hour. We were all upset about the letters we got saying that our voting info and addresses would become public information as of sometime in May. Then we got out and I rinsed off and redressed. We walked outside to our cars and I saw the crabapple tree had suckers. So I stripped some leaves off of one and drove home.

I washed the leaves and put them in the dehydrator. Chris had supper waiting for me. I filled a bowl and signed into the game. We chatted first then Chris read the particulars of the situation and we found ourselves in a most wonderful castle with drinks, food, massages, etc. Of course, while we were having dinner with the host, he got a message that someone he owed a favor to required proof of our demise. So we played that out for the rest of the game.

After the game, it was raining, so I looked for my keys to put my windows up, but they were not down as I thought. I unpacked my sauna bag. I worked on my blog while Chris helped Michele answer questions on her taxes. Then I made tea and we watched Criminal Minds. I went back to looking for fruit leaves and finally went to bed.

First 3-D printing class

Saturday

I got up at 7:30. I got ready for the day. Chris took a shower and went to Mass. I parsed supplements for the next week. I steamed in the sauna, then took a shower and got dressed.

Soon it was time to go to the ACS building for the 3-D printing class. The librarian explained that they got a grant to buy the 3-D printer and it stipulated that classes must be given and taken in order for people to use it. Although 17 people signed up for the class, only 10 showed up. We learned about the kinds of filaments, safety issues, and copyright concerns. Then she asked what people wanted to make and most wanted to make DnD or other characters.

After class, I went home, stopping at the post office. I ate fiber gel and read outside. It was windy and the sun kept going behind clouds. Then I came in to make and eat breakfast. Later I put some dust cloths in a bucket and went to Tina's house. She told me stories of old Dugway while I dusted shelves of DVD's. Then she showed me some quilt projects she had from before the accident.

When I got home, Chris told me that Michele and John were not coming over. I ate fiber gel, put ham and sauerkraut in the toaster oven and read e-mail. Later I ate supper. Michele came over to chat, saying John was asleep.

When it was nearly 7, I threw some projects in a bag and headed to the chapel. I unlocked the doors and put my stuff inside. I stood outside enjoying the last of the sun. Wilhelm arrived first and said his sisters weren't far away. John and Michele arrived. Then Saronna. So we went into the sanctuary to have rhythm class. But the music folder wasn't there. Accordingly, I got out the level two band books. We tried playing from them on drum sticks. Then I had them play sticks while I played Chopsticks on the piano. But some didn't get the rhythm. So I turned it into a dance. Some got it and some didn't, but Saronna appreciated the variety. Then her kids went home and we chatted about nasal surgery. John and Michele left.

I went back to the hall and it was just Casey and Cedric. Casey was tired so they packed up and we all left. I was home by 8:3 and ate more yogurt. I had to wrestle with Task Manager to get Open Office to work again in order to work on my blog. Then I typed up yesterday and today.

I made tea and we watched an episode of Criminal Minds. Afterward, Kurt texted with me and I looked up tea leaves from fruit trees until almost midnight. Then I went to bed.

No notes for Game Night

Friday

I got up about 7:30. I stirred and rinsed and exercised, etc. I pulled up the recipe and proofed the yeast, then mixed in the rest of the ingredients. I went to Math Morning. The kids came with math, but getting them to actually concentrate on it was like pulling teeth. I've decided that I won't do it next year.

When I got home, I changed my shoes. I set the machine to mix the dough again. Then I went to garden clean up. I worked for over an hour. Michele happened to walk by so we chatted. Jenni as well. Then Mrs. Pace came by with her son. They helped me rip the chicken wire box out and she took it for her garden.

When I got home, I ate fiber gel and formed rolls from the dough. I put them in a warm oven to rise. I read outside for awhile. I came in to make breakfast. I baked the rolls while eating.

We went to the commissary for groceries. We took them home, then went to Tooele for things the commissary didn't have. I had a consult at Melanies and bought some Moon Drops that are supposed to help me sleep. I went to Macey's for organic apples. We went back to the base.

I ate fiber gel, read e-mail, then ate ham and potato. I listened to interviews. I threw the ingredients for beer bread into the bread machine. I walked to the post office for mail, walked home with supplements. I ate several yogurts. I formed rolls and put them in a warm oven to rise, then worked on my blog. I took notes for the game tonight.

I took some kimchi yogurt to Game Night for Casey. Michelle was at the prom with Isadora. I forgot my phone so I didn't have any notes. Things did not go well in the game. I got stuck and went to other versions of the game and tried to remember how to do those situations. At 10:55, I thanked Casey and went home. I checked two things to see what I missed. Then I went to bed.

Finally I get a nap

Thursday

I got up by 7:30. I watered the plants and exercised. I checked a ferment from last night. It had already separated. I took yogurt and went to open the chapel for Bible Study. Two ladies were waiting in their car. So we all went in together.

The three of us chatted then Tara arrived. We read from Ecclesiastes and discussed that chapter and more. I passed out yogurt to those who wanted it. We locked up and left at 11.

I went home and ate yogurt. I read e-mail, then ate fiber gel. I laid outside and read for over half an hour. I came in to make breakfast and listen to The Highwire. I ran the numbers for cleaning hours and payment. I went to the inspection for 211 and the occupant paid me.

I went by Saronna's house, but she wasn't home. When I got home, I made up more pay envelopes. I taped the rubber back onto the wheels of the metal lounge chair and rolled it toward the privacy wall.

I put on a video on VPNs. When I realized it was making me sleepy, I moved to the recliner and took a nap. Yay! After I woke up, Bryce called needing kitchen stuff, so I said I would leave the swap shop open. I took the key and walked to the post office to unlock both rooms. I checked the kitchen supplies and there seemed to be what he needed. I also check for shoes and cotton pants for me, but didn't find anything. I walked home and arrived just as Chris did. He was carrying a pizza. I talked to him about our excess kitchen stuff.

I ate fiber gel. I posted to my blog. I heated leftovers for supper. I read through a bunch of e-mail. We discussed issues of the day. I ran to lock up the swap shop. I got there just as the police were leaving. But they hadn't locked the doors. Odd.

I made tea. We watched an episode of Criminal Minds. I watched the rest of an episode of Call the Midwife and started another. At 11, I shut it down and went to bed, but had a hard time falling asleep.  Was it the nap?

A typical Wednesday

Wednesday

I got up at 7:30. I prepared for coffee morning. After exercising, reading, meditating and tapping, I cleaned the bathrooms and kitchen. Not many dishes to wash since Chris ran the dishwasher.

I checked e-mail, then prepared the sauna and steamed. I showered and cleaned up. I checked more e-mail, then made and ate egg salad. I went to the post office for mail, and to the library to get another book. I stopped at the gym to pay Davis and went to 211 to make sure we hadn't missed any spots before inspection tomorrow.

I went home. I raked and mowed in the front yard and the enclosed back yard. I jotted notes for my blog. I read e-mail. I looked up some questions on the internet. I made tea and we watched Criminal Minds. I watched the last half from yesterday and started another episode of Call the Midwife. I paused it around 11 and went to bed.

Sucessful inspection

Tuesday

I got up at 7:30. I checked the ferments. I practiced and exercised just a little – too sore from shampooing carpet yesterday. I caught up on e-mail.

I went to 650 for inspection at 10:30. I had time to double-check everything and sweep bee hives out of the shed. The inspectors showed up at 11. They looked around, found some red flecks in the toilet. Then we signed papers and chatted. I went home.

I ate fiber gel, then read outside in the sun. I came in to prepare and eat breakfast. I got a call asking how I would clean certain things. So I threw together a bucket of supplies and went to her house. I spent half an hour showing her how to clean, but she seemed unsatisfied.

I went to see Saronna. We played and chatted for an hour. Her 4yo carried my trombone out to my car. I went to 650B with a pumice stone to get those flecks off the toilet. On my way home, I dropped off the garage remote.

I read messages, then looked at electroculture videos. I ordered 4 sprigs of copper wire. I looked for a video of magnets on a glass of water to mimic something I saw online for $50.

Chris came home. We went to the gas station for 3 jugs of water and a tank of gas. We replaced the porch lightbulb, with Chris grumbling all the way about inconvenient fixtures.

I mowed some high parts of the front lawn and the strip by the road. I prepared pay envelopes for my crew. I worked on my blog and ate some sleep yogurt. I made tea. We watched Criminal Minds. Later I watched one and a half episodes of Call the Midwife and went to bed.

Processing the milk

Monday

I got up before 8. I started to get ready for the day. I brought in the milk and eggs. I heated half of the milk to 180 and let it cool. I poured out the jars of egg colors and washed them, then put them in the oven to sterilize. I cheesed the half gallon of milk left from last week. I blended up half the leftover sprouts and drank it. I heated the other half of the new milk. I pulled out all the jars of yogurt and decided which ones to feed and which ones to let go (based on health effects. I strained the pineapple scraps out of the vinegar and tossed them in the compost.

I ate fiber gel, then read outside for almost an hour in the sun. I came in to make breakfast. I ate while checking e-mail and messages. I steamed two batches of eggs. I put some of them in a jar of kombucha to ferment. I made breakfast mix.

At 3:30 I went to 211 to clean. John arrived at 4 to move the furniture around so I could vacuum and shampoo the carpet. Right after he left, Isadora showed up to clean the bathroom. We finished up about 7:30 and carried all the stuff to my car. She walked home and I drove home.

I brought all my cleaning stuff in from the car. Rod was there talking to Chris. I was really tired and didn't feel like talking. After Rod left, Chris got out the ham and I fixed a bowl of supper. I ate it while reading messages and watching NWNW. I posted to my blog for yesterday. Then I made tea and we watched one episode of Criminal Minds.

Easter Sunday

Sunday

I got up after 7:30. Chris came home from the Easter sunrise service around 8. He said it was well attended but cold.

I rinsed the sprouts and stirred the pineapple vinegar-to-be. I looked for ph paper to check the acidity, but all I found was the box that the roll came in. I checked e-mail, then looked for more ph paper to order. I found a few other items to order to get free shipping, then realized the paper read values from 5.5 to 8. But I needed a lower ph reading for vinegar.

I ate fiber gel, then read outside for too long.  I made and ate breakfast, then put eggs and sprouts on an aluminum sheet pan.  I got dressed and went to the chapel for bells practice.  John and Michele weren't there, so I called them. She said they forgot it was Sunday.  Arrgh!  So Saronna and Elizabeth and I practiced the songs until John and Michele arrived. But then it was time for the service to start. Chris had also arrived with the eggs and sprouts, which he put in the fridge.

The chaplain prayed and then the band went up front to play the two songs. Janet and Leilani did a dance by the cross and the kid soldier rolled the stone away to reveal the message that Chris is risen. Then Rod read the scriptures and the chaplain gave his sermon on why he became a Christian. At the end, we sang a praise song.

There was food leftover from the sunrise service so Chris put the eggs beside it in the fellowship hall. But most people did not go down there. Summer organized an egg hunt on the church lawn so that's where most people went. John and the chaplain went to have some pickled eggs and sprouts. So I sat and talked to them and Popkin. Chris took the eggs and went home.

Later I stopped by the gym to turn on the sauna. I went home to eat my grapefruit and change. I also texted Michelle. I went to the sauna with a book. Sadly I had to wear glasses to read it. Michelle came in later and we talked until after 4:30.

I went home for the game. I unpacked my sauna bag. Chris had supper in the oven. So I ate that as we talked until John and Michele woke up and joined the game. Then we picked up where we left off last week.

After the game, John wanted to go for a walk, so we all went to the school and walked around the school block: pretty close to a mile. Those two were on their phones catching Pokemon the whole time. Sheesh!

Afterward, I made tea and we watched an episode of Criminal Minds. Then I worked on my blog.  It got too late to watch Call the Midwife.  I went to bed, but could not sleep due to RLS.  I got up around 1 and read a book by my red light.   I took some niacin and must have fallen asleep before the flush kicked in.

Hat decorating event

Saturday

I got up at 8. Chris was already up. I did the usual morning chores, like stirring the pineapple vinegar-to-be, but it should have been vinegar by now. Chris went to the Catholic service. I practiced and exercised. I checked e-mail. When he got back, he gave me a massage and we cuddled and talked.

When dressed, I ate my fiber gel. I collected up craft supplies that might be useful to decorate hats. I had Chris move some heavy boxes around so I could look for more. I brewed tea to feed the scoby that Michelle had given me.

Then I made and ate breakfast. Later I read outside because it was finally warm and sunny. It felt so good I almost fell asleep.

I came in and checked e-mail. I watched some videos. I posted for my blog for the last two days. I jotted notes for today. I carried most of my cleaning stuff to 211 and cleaned there for 2 hours. Then I went home to find Chris cooking ham. I helped with the garlic cream sauce for the potatoes. I texted John and Michele. They came over and we ate and talked. John LOVED the glaze on the ham.

Just before 7, I grabbed my bags of decorating supplies. John helped me carry them to the car. Saronna and her girls were waiting for me at the chapel. They helped carry bags in. I spread out the supplies on the tables in the fellowship hall and got out the hats. Several other people came, but they brought their own projects. I called Chris and asked him to bring me a glue gun that I forgot, plus a jacket. I thought he would send them with John and Michele, but he brought them himself. I was chasing down thread because it seems to have disappeared in the clean-up.

At 7:30, Elizabeth and Caleb arrived. So I went to meet them and set up the bells. When Keli arrived, we played through the two hymns for the following Sunday. Then Michele and John arrived. He laid down because he had eaten too much ham. But we got him back up so the bells could practice with the band. I dismissed the band and practiced with just the bells. After they left, I spent 45 minutes cleaning up all the hat-making supplies.

When I got home, we folded laundry, then made the bed. I rewatched a video on pineapple vinegar, then went to bed.

Good Friday

Friday

I got up by 8. I got ready for the day. I made up supplements for the week. I opened the chapel for Math Morning. Saronna brought her four kids. I sat with Moira and helped her go through missed problems while Saronna monitored the others.

Afterward, I went home. I prepared the sauna and steamed for 20 minutes, then cleaned up and took a shower. I ate fiber gel, read outside, then prepared breakfast and ate it.

We went to the shoppette to pick up a key for an apartment I am supposed to clean. Then we went to the commissary for the usual groceries. We also went to Tooele to get change for a $100 bill and to pick up some stuff for the hat decorating class. But the dollar store didn't have much.

When we got back, I went to 650 to finish the house and mop my way out. Then I went home. I put supper in the toaster oven. I made pickling juice and put the blue and green eggs in it. I got dressed for church. I read e-mail until the last minute, then jumped up to leave and Chris wasn't quite ready.

We walked in to the chapel late, heralded by Wilhelm who informed us that we were being waited for. The band played a hymn, the chaplain prayed, we played another hymn and sat for the service. The chaplain spoke about how Christ suffered in carrying the cross, being beaten, crucified, etc. It was graphic. There were readings. Then the band played again at the end. The service was not well attended: the chaplain, his assistant and the band members and their families. Again, we left in silence.

When we got home, we had a 'discussion' about how I handled being late. So I was late preparing for game night. When I got to Michelle's house, we chatted for a bit before I played the game. I followed my notes until I came to a part where I needed a remote that I didn't have. So I had to replay that part and asked Michelle to look up a few things. It was after 11 when I saved the game. But we chatted for another hour before I left. When I got home, I got ready and went to bed.

Maundy Thursday

Thursday

I got up before 8. It was raining again. I rinsed several jars of sprouts. I blended up a carrot and boiled it for more orange color for pickled eggs. I added beet juice to the red jar.

I went to Bible Study with yogurt. We chatted, read two chapters and talked about them. Afterward, I went to 650 to clean for an hour, then went home. I ate fiber gel, and read for 20 minutes. I made breakfast and ate while watching The Highwire until it glitched and was gone. I waited for it to come back on, but it never did.

I got my shoes wet pouring out SBO on the flower beds. I left the shoes to dry in front of a portable heater. I got a text for a quote so I stopped at the post office then ran over to the apartment and looked around. I texted back a price, then went home.

I read e-mail. I sliced up a pineapple and ate some, put the rest in the fridge. Chris came home from work early. He called in his pizza order. Later he went to get it. I refreshed The Highwire screen and was able to watch the rest of the episode. I wrote up my notes on the parasite cleanse. I jotted notes for my blog.

I got dressed for church. We went to the chapel at 7. The chaplain had set up 3 tables in a triangle. Pita bread and a cup were at each place. The band played two hymns, then we sat and read, and listened while he explained the last supper. Then we took a bite of pita bread and a sip of juice at the proper time. When the service was over, he asked us to leave in silence. So Saronna and I packed up our instruments but left them there and walked out.

When we got home, I ate a bowl of ground beef. I checked e-mail, then made tea. We watched Criminal Minds. Then I watched Call the Midwife and went to bed.

Her job is safe now!

Wednesday

I got up at 8. I prepared for coffee morning. I did 4 rounds of meditation and tapping. I cleaned the bathrooms and kitchen. I washed dishes. I checked e-mail. I used the steam sauna and took a shower. I started another batch of sprouts. I walked to the post office because it was finally sunny: just one piece of mail and it was for Chris.

I made egg salad with old colored eggs. I went to 650 to clean for an hour and 15 minutes, finishing the upstairs and some baseboards downstairs. When I got home, I ate some yogurt. I finished reading outside. I sat at my laptop with something cold on my arm while I read e-mail.

Chris came home from work. He looked for but could not find the shorts he was wearing this morning and I could not find them either. Then he told me that Michele was informed today that her position was no longer an overhire. I was so happy I started to tear up.

As I went back to listening to a podcast, Chris talked to me on and off. I worked on my blog. I made tea. We watched one episode of Criminal Minds. I watched Call the Midwife at my laptop and went to bed.

Coloring fresh eggs for Sunday

Tuesday

I got up at 7:30, not having slept well. I got ready for the day.  I pulled out all the jars of colored eggs.  I checked to see if the colors had penetrated the white. The green eggs were blue inside. Anyway, I hardboiled more eggs and made three of each color. I put some of the original colored eggs in a clear brine to see of the color comes out or if it changes in any way.

I went cleaning for 90 minutes. I came home to have fiber gel and read outside for 20 minutes. I made and ate breakfast. I watched an episode of Call the Midwife.

I went by the chapel and picked up my trombone and the easels.  I went to Saronna's house.  We played and two of her kids drummed along.  Afterward, I went to the library to return the easels.  Then I went to 650 to clean.  Sophia and Moira showed up to clean baseboards.  Sophia worked upstairs and Moira worked downstairs.  I mopped floors.  Sophia picked up the golf balls in the back yard and they went home.  I mopped some more. It was after 5 when I left.

When I got home, I ate the rest of the fiber gel and walked the neighborhood picking up trash, hopefully before it gets mowed. Chris came home from work and made his supper. I put leftovers in the toaster oven. I read e-mail and messages. I ate supper. I worked on my blog. Took notes on parasite cleanse, I made tea and we watched an episode of Criminal Minds.  I started a batch of sprouts.  I worked on VMIS hours, then went to bed.
