I got up at 8:15, waiting for the alarm to go off, and then remembering that it had, but I ignored it. I took the first supplement, then brushed and swished. I soaked the sprouts. I lit the candle and put it in the bathroom. I looked at glass teapots on Amazon and at Target. The ones on Amazon are half the price of Target. I made a belt from a curtain tie-back.
I got a text that Judy was stopping by to bring me something. So I cleaned up, which meant mostly shoved stuff in closets. When I was done, it was messy to the untrained eye, but Chris would surely notice. I pulled wilted stems from the bouquet, and placed it on the coffee table. When Judy came by, she handed me a wooden foot pedal adapter that her husband made. I gave her money. She pointed out snow
flakes. They were hard to see, kind of like dandruff.
I took supplements on schedule. I made more spice mix. I looked at different brands of NMN. I placed an order for that and a teapot. I made and ate breakfast, then meditated for 15 minutes. I bundled up against the cold, and went for a half hour walk.
When I got back, I tried to call Chris to make sure he was going by the post office. I took the midafternoon supplement. Chris came home, having gone by the post office, but not finding any packages. He told me he was going gaming tonight. I called Dad. He said the caregiver left early. I called Faye. She was stopping for gas so couldn't talk. I did something, and then Faye called back. We talked about options for Dad when his physical therapy appointments have ended. I looked for senior balance classes near him. After the call, I ate a big salad for supper, and made vitamin water. I finished listening to some audios while sipping vitamin water every 5 minutes. I messaged with Gwenda for a bit, then listened to a tapping audio.
After that, I watched two episodes of Royal Pains, and used the massage ball on my shoulders and legs. I made up five days worth of detox mix, then washed my dishes. I started writing my blog. Gwenda messaged me again. Chris came home from gaming. I finished my blog post and got ready for bed. I have been doing a bit of yoga each night and that helps me relax.

Another broken pot
I stayed in bed, waiting for the alarm to go off. When I got up, it was 9. Clearly I failed to hear the alarm, or it didn't go off. I lit the citrus extract candle and put it in the master bathroom where the mold must be. I brushed and swished. I sterilized a jar and put some pumpkin coconut cream in it for the chiropractor. I read some e-mail. I put water in the teapot to heat and it leaked out. It was then that I realized it had a crack in it. It must have happened yesterday when I washed it. But why?
I saw a message from Pat but I could not tell if she needed a ride or not, so I called her. She said she had other plans. Then I had to rush out to see the chiropractor. Linda called while I was on the way, so I made a mental note to call her later. When I got to the office, I was right behind an older man. But for some reason, the assistant took me in first for the 'therapy'. She put electrodes on my back and strapped me to a table that stretched my spine for 12 minutes. I wasn't in any discomfort before, but had some afterward.
Then she put me in room 2 to wait for the doctor. I stretched my legs and arms, then sat down. When Dr. Bryant came in, I gave him the pumpkin cream and told him it needed cinnamon. He seemed pleased. I told him my neck was tight and I was grinding my teeth. He adjusted my neck and sphenoid on the horizontal table, and then adjusted my spine on the other table. My jaws felt better afterward.
I checked out at the front desk while he took the jar into the kitchen to eat the cream.
I called Linda back when I got home. We talked about the long weekend. I made breakfast. I checked on the candle and it had gone out. So I lit it again and put it back on the toilet seat.
Then I went to quilting. Lots of ladies were there because it was pot luck day. I set up my machine beside Melissa. I worked on towels, and listened to Pat talk, then chatted with others. At 2, I packed up, and went home. I took the mid-afternoon supplements, then went for a walk, checking for wild daffodils as I went. When I got back, I blew the candle out, then worked on the sleeves of the costume. I put on a podcast to listen to, but it kept stopping, which required me to refresh the page and try to find the spot where it stopped. When the sleeves were finished, I took the supper supplements, and ate bean soup (almost gone now), seed crackers, and an egg. I texted with Newegg which is where we ordered the laptop, hoping they had a solution to the interrupted podcasts. But after a lengthy procedure to prove my laptop was indeed purchased from them, the rep said I had to contact HP.
My tapping buddy came online at 7. We tapped for dental anxiety, and it went down a lot. Then Chris sat with me and we watched one episode of Call the Midwife. Afterward, Chris made his lunch and I sat down to write this blog entry. It was pouring down rain - again.

Flawless
I meant to get up early, but I somehow missed the first alarm. So I got started at 8:30 with brushing and two rounds of swishing. I made coffee, and looked for meditation music on the desktop computer. But somehow I got sucked in to reading comments on a Youtube video about Easter eggs in the first episode of Picard. Then I did my exercises, rebounding, and skin brushing. I listened to the same Oprah meditation twice because the first time it rained so hard that I missed several parts. Also, the next meditation would not play. I did some light cleaning in the kitchen, then took a shower. I took supplements from the first up to the vitamin C and fat soluble ones.
I jumped in my car and went to Beverly's house to pick her up. I dropped her off at her doctor's office, and went home. There wasn't much time so I ate seed crackers and took supplements, then went to Korean clinic.
Dr. Lee had a phone number for me to call. I called and had to wait. Finally a man listened to my story then put me on hold while he checked it out. Then he told me that the IRS was taking out money because the info was old, but it has been updated now so it shouldn't happen any more. I suggested Dr. Lee try sending a $10 charge through to see if deductions were still being taken out.
Then he had me reserve him a rental car at LAS. They are going to look at property in California. Afterward, he set up a detox foot bath for me. She talked to me while I sat there. I showed her the hard spot on the bottom of my heel and she said it was a corn and when it got bigger she would burn it off.. Maybe I don't have plantar faciitis after all?
The water remained clear like nothing was happening, but then she told him to add more water. After he did, the color started to change. She brought me ginger tea. She said making your own from a ginger root is not good. It might have mold on it, and you can't control the dosage. I didn't know you could overdose on ginger tea. She gave me a packet of seaweed, saying it was very expensive. Since she got it at the Asian market a few doors down, I wondered just how expensive it could have been.
I went home and found Chris there. I checked my messages and saw that choir practice was canceled because of an impending storm. So I went for a quick walk. The rain hit just before I got back so I ran home. There was a box on my chair so I opened it. It had a supplement in it. I put it away. I checked the house mail and brought it in. I marked one of them 'not at this address' and put it back in the drop box.
I took off the ends of the sleeves on Chris' kimono costume. I ate supper, which consisted of breakfast and bean soup. Then I cut some strips to add to the sleeves so they would be longer. I got the first one just about done by the time Chris was ready to watch TV
We had a disc from Netflix called Flawless, with Michael Caine. We watched that, listening to the pounding rain, and then I was surprised to see that it was after 10. Chris made his lunch and went to bed. I stayed up to write this post and take evening supplements.

Colloidal silver could be the answer?
It was after 8 when I got up. I brushed and swished. I got dressed and checked e-mail. I took all the supplements through protein. Then I went to quilting. It was raining so I was glad the machine was already in my trunk.
When I got there, I left the machine until I was certain it was needed. I went in and found the ladies sitting around two tables. I checked out the give-away pile, but there was nothing that caught my eye. Beverly gave me a bag of squares to sew for charity – when I have the time. We talked for awhile, then I helped Anita go through bags of wool scraps to judge their suitability for making scarves for the homeless. She and I trimmed the pieces into rectangles. Others were discarded to the dog bed pile. Susan took some scraps for embellishment, I think. One by one the ladies left. When the pieces were trimmed, Anita wanted to sew. But it was already after 11, so I said goodbye to her and the former science teacher.
When I got home, I finished the supplement regimen and made breakfast. I made up a week's worth of supplements from the practitioner. Beverly called to ask me to take her to an appointment tomorrow afternoon. I meditated with Oprah and Deepak. At 1, I left for church, stopping on the way to fill up with gasoline. The rain had let up enough that it was ok.
When I got to church, I noticed my odometer precisely on 14000. I went to the church office and entered the numbers in the computer and printed the reports. I shredded some extra copies of previous reports. Tim arrived and showed me how to print the yearly reports. Then we sat and stapled papers together and put address stickers on envelopes. But we did not finish because he had to go to the dentist. As he was leaving, Elaine showed up. She and I met in the garden room and did clearings for substances she brought. She mentioned swishing with colloidal silver and it made me think I could do something similar to kill the bacteria crawling under my filling.
We left at the same time. She went home and I went to the bank to make the deposit. When I got home, Chris was home, sitting at his laptop. I put colloidal silver on a Q-tip and placed it on my back tooth. I bit down on it to soak the filling.
I thought it was too dreary a day to go for a walk, but changed my mind when I had to go outside to empty a bag of dried herbs. So I walked around the circle, which helped pass the time. When I got back, I added some things to my Swansons cart. I finished sewing the band on Chris' costume. I decided to hem the yellow foundation garment. I pulled out a piece of purple for that. Then I took a break to eat supper – mostly bean soup and a salad. I messaged back and forth with Gwenda, then went back to sewing.
When Chris was done with his game, I prepared some magnesium water and drank it while we watched two episodes of Call the Midwife. In the second one, Jenny's love interest dies and she is heartbroken. The reverend mother tells her that God is not in the events but in the response. Hmm.
After the show, Chris tried on the costume for me. I felt the sleeves were too short, but was not certain I wanted to put in the effort to insert more fabric. Then he went to bed. I stayed up to blog and get ready myself.

A visit with the dentist
I got up a little after 7, surprised to see it was so early. I got a head start on supplements. I brushed and swished. I dressed in green because Gwenda said she was going to wear David's favorite color today. I had to look up some of the supplements to remind me why I was taking them. I finished making 14 days of supplements. I swept the kitchen, and texted with Faye. She sent me a pic of the service. I went outside for better reception so I could download the pic. What a nice sunny day it was! No coat necessary. I talked to Mary, who was on a long trip. I made breakfast, and vitamin water for the day. I listened to podcast for awhile, then carefully brush and flossed breakfast away.
At 11 I went to the dentist. I read a book in the waiting room. When I was called back, she led me to a room with a small cup of germ killer. I waited until she left, then pretended to swish with it. I poured it out. She came back with a back massage unit, which she put on the chair. After I sat down against it, she covered me with a blanket and brought me a warm neck pillow. For some reason I did not have any hot flashes. She prayed with me for my cousin's family. Then she took x-rays, and cleaned my teeth. Afterward, the dentist came in for a look. I knew she was going to suggest a crown or two. She said there was enough bacteria under the filling to show up on the x-ray. We discussed my concerns about getting a crown. She did not think it would get infected like the first one did.
After she left, I was taken to an office. I straightened the pictures on the wall until a lady came in with a printout of recommended treatments and associated costs. We talked for some time. I agreed to the treatments and we went round and round trying to fit the dentist's schedule to mine. Finally we agreed on something and I left.
It was after 2. I headed to quilting, but on the way decided it was too late plus the day was too gorgeous to be inside. I went home, changed my shoes, and went for a walk. My foot bothered me very little. When I got back, I opened the doors. I saw a missed phone call from the dental office. They had to move the next appointment. Then I sat in the back yard and read my book, almost finishing it. When I went inside, I found Chris sitting at his computer. I greeted him. We talked. It was a little early for supper, but I put something together anyway. It was such a nice day and I didn't want it to end.
I pinned a purple fleece strip to the costume and started sewing. The sewing foot pushed the fabric so much that I had to take the pins out before I got to them. The strip wasn't long enough so I added another one. I was surprised to see that it was not the same width as the first. So I cut an inch off of the first one. When both were sewn to the front, I threaded a needle and started sewing the back down.
When Chris was ready, we sat on the couch and watched two episodes of Call the Midwife. It was an emotional rollercoaster as usual. Chris held me while I cried. Finally I told him he could go to bed. I took supplements and wrote my blog post, then got ready for bed.

Flowers for David
I knocked over a glass jar in the bathroom last night and it shattered. Chris swept it up with a dustpan, but I had to vacuum to make sure we got all the pieces. And still there were more. Finally I went to bed.
My alarm woke me at 7:30. I shut it off and got up to get ready for church. I chose a green dress first, then decided on a longer one with a black background. I started listening to a podcast while taking supplements. I headed out just after nine.
When I got to church, the organ was playing and I thought I was late for choir. But only a handful of men had assembled. Several people offered their condolences. I noticed the flowers were very pretty. Then more ladies came. Roz was sick, but Jennifer insisted that she stand with the rest of us and mouthe the words. After running through the song several times, practice was over. I took a pic of the flowers. Barbara mentioned that they were nicer than usual. She offered her condolences as well.
I was holding up pretty well until I read the note in the bulletin about how the flowers were in memory of David Wagner. Somehow seeing it in print brought the tears on. Don decided to walk across the sanctuary to say hello to Jennifer. So I took his hand and made sure he didn't fall.
After we got back to our pew, I gave him an envelop and he put cash in it. Then the service started. Lars did the announcements. And Don L led the service. During the sermon he wanted us all to sing the chorus of a song called “We'll meet again” popularized by Vera Lynn. That brought on more tears.
After the service, Paige came over to say something sympathetic. Her husband Tim was right behind, moving the offering to a safe place. Somehow he got near the flowers and they fell down. Although they looked like they were inside the vase, they were actually in foam in a shallow dish on top of the vase, and precariously balanced. The two of them picked up the flowers and took them to the small kitchen in back. I went to the other side of the sanctuary to take a pic of the sister bouquet. I asked Jennifer if she would like to have them and she said she could divide it up and take some to each nursing home she visits this week. I took the first one with me to my car and perched it in the front passenger seat. Then I drove home.
At home, I changed clothes and then we made a shopping list and went to Publix. When we got back, we unpacked the groceries, and ate some ham. I wanted seed crackers but they were all gone. I put my sewing machine in the car and went to Renegades. But I needn't have bothered with the machine. Some ladies were putting binding on quilts, but I was recruited to help cut batting. And there were a lot of quilt tops with backings that needed batting. After two hours, we had gone through two big rolls of batting. I vacuumed the fellowship hall while the other ladies packed up the fabric and tables. Then I went home.
I took the midafternoon supplement and went for a walk. I decided to walk through the woods to see what might be flowering. Nothing was, but I got a twig in my eye. When I got back, Chris didn't see any scratches, but I washed it with soap and water anyway. Then I sat outside and read for a while. I also left the doors open because it was in the 60's. When I came in, I laid down for a bit but never quite fell asleep. When I got up, I ate some bean soup, and a little of the yogurt. I made a batch of seed crackers. I made Chris a loaf of bread. I also blended cooked pumpkin with coconut cream. It was quite tasty.
Then we watched the first episode of Picard. CBS wanted us to subscribe to watch the second episode, so we watched Call the Midwife again. I did not realize it was going to be an extra-long episode. Chris went to bed afterward and I stayed up to blog.

Tag, I'm it
I got up about 9, and took the first supplement. Then I got some coconut oil and went back to bed. Chris gave me a full-body massage. It was great, but then I forgot to brush and swish.
I spent the next hour writing checks and putting sympathy notes in cards, then addressing and stamping them. I made a donation on Faye's behalf in memory of our cousin David.
I checked e-mail, got dressed, and made breakfast.
After eating, I loaded my machine in the trunk, and headed out to Sew Day with the Modern Quilt Guild. I brought the box for collecting dog bed scraps. I took Holmes to Pulaski to Oakwood and soon I was there. I rolled my machine inside the store and the sales man pointed out the classroom where the guild was meeting. I set up beside Vicki. The project of the day was to make nametags. I walked around looking at what others had done. Lunch arrived and the ladies gathered to eat. I talked to Vicki for awhile, then went to the notions table and selected some fabric. Diane had written my name on a piece of paper so I stitched through the paper onto stabilized fabric. Then I added borders and a backing. Vicki and her friends kept me entertained as I worked. When the name tag was finished, I made tops for towels. They found that funny because it looked like something else to them. All too soon, it was time to pack up. The store closed at 3. But right across the parking lot was a thrift store for the Downtown Mission. I walked through it hoping to find seam binding or trim. When there wasn't any, I drove to the Humane Society thrift shop. They had lots of fabric and yarn and stuff, but no seam binding. So I went to one more thrift shop. I found a small piece of gold gauzy fabric. The lady asked for 10 cents but I gave her a dollar.
Finally I went home. I took the mid-afternoon supplement. I asked Chris to get me a box from the garage. Sadly it was not the box of trims. I don't know what happened to it. I put on a podcast and experimented with how to attach a band to the costume. I handsewed some yellow netting to the raw edges of the costume. Then I ate ham and salad for supper. Afterward, I cleared stuff from my cutting table into a box. Then I laid out the soft purple fabric. I finally had enough room to make a cross-wise cut.
Then Chris finished his 8pm kill. We sat on the couch and watched two episodes of Call the Midwife. It was, as always, an emotional experience. Chris had laundered the sheets earlier in the day. So after the show, I put on the pillowcases and he put on the fitted sheet. Then we dressed the bed with covers. I took another round of supplements, brushed and swished, and wrote my blog post. Then it was time to get ready for bed.
