I got up when I heard the 8:30 alarm go off. Chris was already up. I got up feeling odd. I brushed and swished. I checked e-mail and finished an interview from yesterday. I ironed the peacock panel and laid it on a blue and green background. I looked at peacock panels online to find out what it looked like before it became my project. I found it and then looked at panel borders to get an idea of how to finish it.
Chris wanted to get potatoes and cabbage for the corned beef. I went shopping with Chris to get a shower cap. We stopped at the bank for cash. The teller told me that today was the last day that the lobby would be open. Starting tomorrow, only the drive-thru would be available. We proceeded to Publix for necessities and came home.
Chris readied the corned beef and accouterments in the oven while I chose some gold fabrics to match the peacock and practiced my trombone. I made breakfast while he worked on his laptop on the dining room table. I did not have my supplements to go with breakfast because I had run out. He made his lunch while I ate my breakfast.
When Chris was not making or taking work-related phone calls, I listened to an interview on hormones and sleep (progesterone). I went to the post office, but didn't find anything. I looked at infrared light bulbs on Amazon. I called about the sequential stimulator but was told it was past its useful life and that I could buy a new one for $1200 with a doctor's prescription. I decided not to.
I made up a new batch of supplements for the next 14 days. I also made a week's worth of practitioner supplements. Chris pulled the corned beef out of the oven and checked the carrots and potatoes to see if they were done. I put some in a bowl and ate it at my laptop. Later I made a big salad. I ate while looking for the best price to re-order supplements.
At 7 I moved my laptop into the guest room. I tapped with Nell for the frustration of being home-bound with my husband 24/7. Afterward, Chris and I watched two episodes of Call the Midwife. Then Chris went to bed while I stayed up to blog and get ready for bed.
* It was hard to match the colors because today was another rainy day and the light was bad. *
