Pineapple goat cheese

Tuesday

I did not sleep well due to hot flashes. Chris did not get called in the middle of the night. I heard him get ready for work at the usual time.

I got up about 8. I brushed and swished and got dressed. I puttered in the kitchen, then sat at my laptop. Because today is Giving Tuesday, I made a list of organizations that I have already given to this year, and looked in my e-mail for others that do things I would like to support. I got distracted a few times by e-mails from places that were extending their cyber Monday deals. I got a text from the lady selling the side of beef. She wanted to know which organs and cuts I wanted. So I had to check into that, not knowing what to ask for.

At noon I made and ate breakfast. Chris did not come home for lunch. At two I brushed the snow off my car and went to Saronna's house. We spent way too much time talking and not enough playing. She knows something about cuts of beef. She said her mother bought a side of beef and had the whole thing made into hamburger.

I got home around 3. Diane e-mailed about walking. Michele put on walking clothes. I jotted notes until time to go. Michele went with me. Tonja was there, so the four of us walked around the track for over 30 minutes. Then Diane left and Jamie called me. I talked to her for a bit, then drove home with Michele, still talking.

I went back to reading, then decided to go to the commissary for a pineapple. I heated the goat milk and, when it was ready to curdle, threw in blended up pineapple slush. The milk curdled immediately. Then I strained the curds out, first the big ones, then the little ones. I tasted the cheese and it was not sweet. When Chris got home, he tasted it, and said it was too acidic. So I threw in some baking soda and that helped, along with a bit of salt.

Jenni came over to meet Michele. She spent more time talking to me, but it was nice that those two did meet. She also met John briefly. I thanked her for the food she had me take from her fridge.

I cleaned up a little, then worked on my blog. I made tea. Michele and John went in the back, so Chris and I watched an episode of Pickard. I retired to my laptop to catch up on e-mail, then went to bed.

That house

Monday

I got up at 8. I brushed and swished. I washed dishes and wiped countertops. I cleaned the plastic pieces for the nebulizer and put it away. I watered the plants. Then I sat down at my laptop. I forgot to post to my blog yesterday, so I did it today. I also got ready for the next posting.

I made and ate breakfast. Chris came home for lunch with mail. He gave me a Thanksgiving card from MaryAnn. It had cats in masks. Michele and John enjoyed it too.

I went to a man's house for a quote, but he wasn't home. I called him, and he gave me the garage code. As we spoke, I went inside. It reminded me of an episode of Hoarders. I went upstairs. The bathroom lights didn't work and it looked like a black hole. The cabinets were empty and there was stuff everywhere. The cat came to investigate me and I scratched his head. I sent pics to Michelle, and later, Jamie. I needed their opinion on what to charge. I went home, and told Michele, who wanted to start cleaning. Sadly she will be gone by the time he gets back to town.

I looked at e-mail offers, then went walking with Diane. We noticed the new coat hooks up by the track. When we left the gym, it was snowing. I went home and had Michele and John look out the window. I went back to parsing offers. Chris came home early because everyone got an hour off and will go to work tomorrow an hour late because of road conditions.

I started reading articles. Everybody made their supper of choice. Chris cooked cranberry sauce for me. I had some turkey. I worked on my blog. I made tea and sat down with Michele and John as they were finishing up Ghostbusters. Then they went in the back. Chris and I watched an episode of Pickard season 2.

Chris went to bed in the livingroom because he expected a call in the middle of the night. I stayed up to work on e-mail, then went to bed in the usual place.

Finally chose a freezer

Sunday

I woke up around 8, having slept pretty well. I brushed and swished. Michele asked me for advice on the kimono she made. I looked into brands of freezers made in America. Some brands are made in America by Chinese-owned companies. Chris had questions about updating my character sheet to level 2. I did not have good answers.

Jamie wanted to take her niece to the swap shop so I went down to unlock it. I also left two boxes while I was there. When I got back, I looked at foot pedals, trying to replace the burnt out electronic one with a rheostat one. Electronic ones run $50. Chris wasn't sure they were interchangeable, so I found a used one on Ebay for $20.

Back to freezers: so many choices, prices, sizes to choose from.

I made and ate breakfast, then got dressed for church. I took cheese squares as a snack. When I got to the chapel, I laid down the cheese, set up my trombone and chatted with Saronna. Jenni came. I sat down and the service started. After the sermon about Jesus' first coming vs his second coming, Saronna and I played for the hymns. Then I chatted with Jenni, and then Randy. He said he could deliver and install a freezer if I bought it from Home Depot. He also advised getting a larger freezer because it will have a better compressor. I gave them a taste of the peanut butter fudge. Then I went home, stopping at the swap shop to lock it. When I got back, I continued looking at freezers.

LAter Michelle called to ask to be let into the chapel to re-decorate the tree. So I did and I gave her some peanutbutter fudge. I came back and tried to finalize a freezer purchase from Home Depot, by looking for a coupon. But none of them seemed to work. Finally I just bought at the regular price. If only buying a freezer was as easy as buying a foot pedal.

At 5 we sat down at our respective laptops to play the DnD game. I had a problem hearing John, Chris and Michele because their voices were coming through my computer and through the air, and there was a tiny time delay. Chris was able to mute on my laptop and that was better. In today's episode we explored the ruins of the old prison. We fought a disemboidied sword and struggled to open doors. We were beset by ghosts. But when we signed off, we were all still alive.

I started reading my ignored e-mail. Then Chris and I watched an episode of The Librarians. Later we stayed up late on our laptops, then went to bed.

Playing Dominoes

Saturday

I got up before 8. I read my book beside the HappyLight for over half an hour. Then I looked at freezers online, trying to find a better one for not too much more than the WalMart one.

Chris wanted to go to Tooele early, so I made and ate breakfast and he got the cooler ready. Michele went with us. We conversed instead of listening to the book on CD, so I did not fall asleep.

It took the usual hour to get to the grocery store. We shopped at the usual places plus Joanns. I needed some stuff for the next classes and there was a really long and slow checkout line.

Afterward, we drove back to the base, stopping at the post office for the mail. After putting the food away, I read articles, then resumed looking at freezers.

I stopped to made peanutbutter fudge. It took some time and it was messy. I did not have enough baking chocolate, so I added ground up cacao nibs. Then, I put the mixture into chocolate molds to harden. I turned on the oven and whipped up cheese sticks. But I read the time and temp from the recipe below it, almost burning it. When it came out of the oven, I cut some edges off and ate them. Then Michele came in and ate some.

I had a few minutes to search for freezers again, then we all went to Michelle's house for supper, and to play dominoes. We had a good time. She sold me a jar of goat milk and gave me two gallons of vinegar. Also, we brought the foot pedal that stopped working and Casey opened it up. With a multi-meter, he was able to diagnosed it as fried. It was not the simple rheostat that I was expecting.

We got back home after 9. I practiced a bit, then made tea. Chris and I watched one episode of The Librarians, a DnD version. Afterward, I worked on my blog and Chris went to bed.

Birthday trip

Friday

I got up around 8. I brushed and swished. I read online for a bit, going through the Black Friday sales announcements I put some ice packs in the cooler. I watered some plants, noting that the Easter lily produced a tiny bloom. I trimmed dead plant stems from the tower garden.

When Michelle and Diane drove up, I took the cooler and got in her car. We chatted as Michelle drove us to Salt Lake City to the Desert Star dinner theatre. We were shown to our seats and given a menu. We all ordered hot tea. Then the piano man started playing. There were some introductory remarks, and the play began.

It was a spoof on White Christmas. It was very amusing. Very musical, with lyrics rewritten to match local and current conditions. Then they had more remarks to the audience, encouraging people to buy gift cards and season tickets. Afterward, the troupe sang Christmas songs and danced. When it was over, I remarked that the piano player would be very welcome at the chapel on Sunday mornings.

We put on our coats and went out to the car. We went looking for Trader Joe's because they sell turkey and sweet potato burritos only at Thanksgiving and John expressed a liking for them. The first Trader Joe's was closed, so we found another one. They had the burritos, and also the Japanese sweet potatoes that the CSM wanted.

Then Diane wanted to go to a sushi place, so we did. I did not order a bowl because there were too many choices to make. Kinda like going to Subway. And anyway, I bought jicama and hummus at Trader Joe's. We ate there, then went to Costco. They had freezers there, but I showed Michelle the one that Ravonna sent me, and it was cheaper from WalMart. So then we wandered around the store. Michelle picked out a bunch of stuff and Diane got one thing. I got a few things. We checked out. They would not take a credit card so I had to pay cash.

It was getting late so we drove back to the base, getting in after 6. Our number was up, and we got stopped at the guard station for a car check. That meant we had to get out of the car and wait while they checked everything for explosives or whatever. Brrr!

Then Michelle dropped me off at my house and took Diane home. I went in the house, and showed John the burritos, then put them in the fridge. I ate some nuts and cheese and seed crackers. I worked on my blog. John and Michelle went in the back and Chris and I watched two episodes of The Librarians.

I fell asleep during the second one. Chris covered me with a blanket. But I could not stay asleep. I got up to do my nightly ritual and went to bed. But I still couldn't sleep and Chris was up doing something. I took a supplement and went back to bed. Chris came to bed, and I tossed and turned for some time, fighting off hot flashes.

Thanksgiving

Thursday

I woke up before the alarm went off. Chris snuggled over and started getting frisky. But then his phone rang and the colonel said to meet him at the gym. So he put on workout clothes and left.

I got up later. Michele was in the kitchen. I watered the plants. I tried to close the vent louvers that were blowing on my tower garden, but I couldn't reach it even with a step stool. Neither could Michele. I read some e-mail, then told Michele we had to get ready for Turkey Trot. She got John up and they got dressed. Chris came back from the gym just long enough to pick us up for the Trot.

Around 20 people showed up. We chatted for a bit, then the CSM said a few words and Chris said a few words, and we all headed out, walking around the school block 3 times. I walked with various people at various times. At the end of the third round, we stopped at the school to meet the others. The colonel invited everyone up to his hill to look at the stars at 6:30.

When we got home, Chris and Michele put the turkey in the oven and worked on side dishes. I finished off the pineapple. Chris boiled the turkey innards and I ate them. I listened to The Highwire: autistic brains have more aluminum than alzheimer's brains. Humans never came in contact with aluminum before we started mining it and now it's everywhere. It affects Housekeeping cells in autistic brains vs the neurons in brains with alzheimers. There are no human studies of aluminum levels for safety.

I posted to my blog for Tuesday. The CSM posted to Facebook looking for someone going to town. Turns out she needed sweet potatoes and we had extra. So she came by and picked them up.

The turkey finished early. So we sat down to eat about 4:30. We had rolls and sweet potato casserole, and squash, and stuffing. No cranberry sauce.

After we ate, we bundled up warmly and went up on the hill where the colonel doused the lights to see the night sky. Michelle came with pots of hot chocolate and her husband brought binoculars and telescopes. He was very knowledgeable. But it got really cold and most people left before he got the biggest one set up. Even Chris, Michele and John left. But I stayed, first standing back-to-back with Michelle for warmth, then sitting in her car with the kids, playing word games. Finally Casey packed up and they took me home.

Chris and Michele were watching some boring Zoro movie. The pies had not been touched. So I got on my laptop to listen to James Corbett talk about gratitude. I also texted with Michelle and Silvia. Chris put dishes in the dishwasher while I mopped the floor. I worked on Wednesday's blog post.

I made tea and we watched one episode of The Librarians. He went to bed and I stayed up to read. I hit the hay before midnight.

Running around, here and there

Wednesday

I got up when the first alarm went off. I brushed and swished. I prepared for coffee morning. Michele and John either slept in or stayed in their room. I exercised, meditated, tapped, etc. By then they were up. I cleaned the bathrooms and then the kitchen. I made more spice mix. Chris came home a little early to make his lunch. He made a large pitcher of tea and then went to the commissary for drinks for John and Michele.

After vacuuming, I took my shower, then got dressed. I turned on my phone to see what messages came in. Michele was asking about songs for the Christmas program. I read articles and listened to short videos through links in e-mail. I explored some online sales.

I went walking with Diane at 3:30. No one else showed up so we were done early. I tried to put the phone holder on the vent in my car, but it wouldn't grasp firmly because the molding around it came out too far. Sigh.

I read e-mail, thinking that soon Michelle would be back and we would be working out. But she kept texting that traffic was holding her up. I thought Heather was going to text me about going to the swap shop. Finally at 5:30, Michelle was back. I met her at the gym and she had me work out on different machines than the ones I usually use.

Afterward, we were talking with the staff at the window, and I asked if the shirt issue had been resolved. She said no, because the extra box of shirts only held 6 or 8 and they were not the sizes people had ordered. There were other concerns as well and I tried to convince them that they needed to write it down or talk directly to the garrison manager. They seemed reluctant and afraid of reprisal so I called Chris and asked him to come to the gym so they could explain their issues to him. He basically said not to tell him directly, but to talk to the investigator that he just assigned to the issues I had told him about. They had some questions that he didn't want to talk about in front of Michelle and me, so we went in the gymnasium to give them some privacy.

When they were done, we all went to my house. Chris fished out a wine bottle opener which I gave to Michelle, and she took it to the chaplain's house because they had requested one. Then he and Michele made pies. I helped a little, by heating the Karo bottles so they would pour.

Then I saw a message from Heather, so I ran to unlock the swap shop. I texted Saronna to see if I could deliver her bass case. She said yes. As I was putting on my coat, Chris exclaimed that he forgot to get whipping cream. It was 7 minutes of 8, which is when the commissary closes. So I went there first.

They were closing up the store. The man showed me where it was, and I picked up a nice-sized poinsettia, too. I paid with a minute to spare, then went over to Saronna's house and gave her the finished case. Her husband invited me to participate in archery lessons he will be giving in the spring.

When I got home, I gave Chris the cream. The four of us sat down to watch The Last Starfighter. We paused it several times to check on the pies. There were four: one pecan and three pumpkin. He said it took three shells to contain the filling from the recipe.

After the movie, I made tea and Chris and I watched one episode of The Librarians. I got on my computer for a little bit, then went to bed, thinking I had posted to my blog.

Finishing up the bass case

Tuesday

I got up soon after the 7:30 alarm. I brushed and swished, then ran hot water in the tub. I put in borax, washing soda, oxyclean and a Tide pod. Then I put the dark blue sheets in.

I made seed crackers. I worked on the bass case, machinesewing in black over the pink basting stitches. Some parts I could not get under my needle. Tonja texted me about unlocking the swap shop for Christina, so I walked down there and opened the door. I went to Housing and dropped off the Friendsgiving house key. Then I went to Jenni's house to get some food that she wanted me to have while she was gone. Michele helped me clean out the fridge. We moved a bunch of stuff outside and cleaned the shelves. I made and ate breakfast. Chris came home to make his lunch, but couldn't find the bread. It was outside.

After lunch, he took Michele to the commissary. When they got back, I helped Michele trim her kimono and set her up on my machine at the dining room table.

At 2, I took my trombone and the bass case to Saronna's house. She put Jonah (her string bass) in the case to see if it fit, and it did. She was very pleased, but I had a few small details that still needed addressing. We played Christmas music from a duet book. We picked some songs to play for the thing at church. Then her alarm went off, meaning she had to go get her kids from school.

On my way home, I locked the swap shop. At home, I drained the tub and put the sheets in the washer. Michele put on her shoes, and we went to the school to meet Diane and Michelle. The four of us walked around the school. Then Diane went back to work.

When I got hone, I put the sheets in the dryer. I read articles, then brought in the rest of the food before it could freeze. I worked on my blog. Then Chris came home from work, He and Michele worked to make supper in the kitchen. They ate while watching a movie called Zoro the Gay Blade. I made a salad and joined them. After the movie, food got put away, then we all sat in the diningroom and conversed. I handstitched both ends of the bass zipper.

John and Michele went to bed. I drank tea and took melatonin. I listened to a podcast while playing Solitaire until I got the last victory image. I jotted notes for my blog and went to bed.

Integrating routine and company

Monday

I got up soon after the 7:30 alarm. Michele and John were already up and making oatmeal for breakfast. I made cheese squares and they each had some.

I read my book by the HappyLight. I did not intend to spend all morning, or to finish it, but that's what ended up happening. So then I invited Michele to go with me to the library. John was taking a shower, so we went without him.

It did not take me long to find the next book in the series, but I introduced Michele to Melissa and we had a chat. Michele wore her regency dress and half-jacket that she'd made. When we got back, John said he was uncomfortable coming out of the shower to find everyone was gone and he had no way to contact them. (Michele had left her phone behind). Oops.

I made breakfast and they ate cheesy potatoes for lunch. I kept getting interrupted by phone calls. Finally the man who needed his house cleaned called. He said the movers arrived at the gate 45 minutes ago, but seemed in no hurry to go get them.

At 3:25 we all put on our walking shoes. We met Diane at the gym, but walked around the neighborhood. We had a nice chat and she seemed interested in Michele's sewing prowess. Then John wanted to go to the library so we swung by there. He picked out several books on paper and on CD. Melissa checked them out on my account.

When we got back, I listened to “Died Suddenly” and played Solitaire. Then I made a large salad for Michele and John. Chris was stuck in a meeting so I ran to the commissary for him. When I got home, I fixed a salad for myself. Michele came and fixed her salad. I got online, then Chris came home after a very long meeting with Dark Skies.

I ate some seed crackers while reading articles. Then I worked on my blog. The others were watching Buckaroo Bonzai, so I sat by them and basted a zipper in Saronna's bass case with bright pink thread.

When it was over, John and Michele went in the back. I made tea and waited for Chris. Then we watched one episode of The Librarians. Afterward, I read articles and then went to bed.

Visitors from Virginia

Sunday

I got up and brushed and swished. Chris showered and went to the airport. I got a call from the police. The man came over to get my info because the swap shop was unlocked. I told him that I left it that way so someone could drop off stuff.

I cleaned up here and there around the house. I made muffins. I made and ate breakfast. Chris came back with John and Michele. We talked for a bit. I put on my church clothes and went to the chapel.

I put down the muffins in the back. I got out my trombone and put it together. Just as I was felling like the only congregant, Simon and Diane came, then Michelle and Casey. A pianist came with her husband.

We sat through the praise songs, and the sermon. Then she went to the piano and we tried to play her selections, but she had different hymn numbers. So we ended up taking suggestions. It went ok. We spoke afterward and I thanked her for coming. I told her she could come play any time.

I went home. I changed my clothes. Chris was working on twice-baked potatoes. I ate some nuts and fruits. Michele showed me a Japanese robe that she was working on and needed to serge some edges.

At 5, we all signed into Discord for the game. At first we had trouble with the sound. Some people's voices were coming through, and some weren't. Finally we got that sorted out and John ran the game. The three hours went by quickly as we went to the tavern, interviewed a historian, the sheriff, the apothecariest, etc. Nobody seemed to know much. OR they just weren't telling?

After the game, we changed the sheets on the bed so I can boil the other ones. John and Michele went to bed. I worked on my blog, then we watched TV. I nearly fell asleep during the second episode, so we just went to bed. Then I heard John and Michele waling around, so I guess they didn't go to sleep after all.

Placemat day

Saturday

We got up late. I washed up and got dressed. I puttered in the kitchen. I scraped squash from the leftover rind. Chris gave me a coconut oil massage, then took his shower and went to the colonel's house. I cut fusible for the placemat class. I made a sample project. I cut fronts and backs. Tonja texted that she wasn't feeling well and would stay home. Bummer: she's the most experienced seamstress and brings machines and cutting boards.

It was after 12 till I finished cutting and gathering fabrics. I started breakfast and Chris came back from the commissary. He bought me melatonin. At 1:30, he helped me get three machines in my car. We went to the chapel and he brought them in. I set up the machines and put out the fabrics. I was both hoping for a good turnout, but afraid of a great turnout.

Saronna came in with her three kids. And all three wanted to make the project, even the 5yr old boy. Isadora came with them. Also Jenni came and a new lady whose name I cannot remember even though I heard it several times.

I had a hard time keeping up with everyone. They had to share three machines. I did most of the cutting and all of the machine re-threading, etc. At one point, the younger ones went to play while the machines were busy. One foot pedal just stopped working. ???

When the adults finished, they wanted something else, so two of them made tissue holders and Isadora made a bookmark. So the session went long. Jenni was last to leave and she helped me clean up. I had to call Chris to carry the last machine because it was so heavy. On the way home, I unlocked the swap shop for Tiffany.

When we got home, we brought all the stuff inside. Chris made brownies from scratch and asked me to call Michele and find out if she wanted pecans on hers. I had a nice chat with her. They are getting ready for their flight here tomorrow morning. I had the turkey leg for supper and sweet potato casserole. I thought it would be good with chocolate, so I ground up some cacao nibs to mix with the last bite. MMMM!

I worked on my blog after listening to an interview. I made tea and we watched two episodes of The Librarians. Then I listened to an interview while playing Solitaire until time to go to bed.

Friendsgiving

Friday

We stayed in bed late, getting up around 8:30. I got dressed and scraped frost off my car. I put cleaners in, and went to the company house. But everything there was just as I left it two weeks ago. The beds were made and the trash empty. So I dusted the coffee table and left.

When I got home, I opened the Joanns box from yesterday. I pulled out the fleece, cut the corners off, and threw them in the washing machine. There was stabilizer in there too, but I wasn't sure it was the right thing for placemats. Chris took a shower and went to the office. I looked up how to cook the squash we grew in the garden. But there seemed not to be a consensus on what it is called.

I cut two of the squashes in half, and put butter, cinnamon, and maple syrup on them. I roasted them in the oven for 30 minutes as the recipe called for. But I kept having to add time, to almost 2 hours. I washed dishes and utensils while it baked. I rinsed and patted the seeds, ready for roasting. I finished listening to The Highwire. When the squash was softish, I turned the oven down to 275 and put the seeds in. I scraped out the insides and mashed them with more butter. Then I heard the seeds popping in the oven and had to turn it off.

I put the squash in a casserole dish and put it in the oven to keep warm. Chris came back from the commissary with food. Some of it he put in the garage to keep cool. I read Telegram messages until time to leave.

Around 1:40 we drove up the hill to the Friendsgiving house. We brought the food in. I looked around to see what needed doing. No one was in charge, but everyone wanted to help. 2pm came and went. It might have been almost 2:30 before the chaplain said a prayer. And then no one lined up because they didn't know the traffic plan. CSM had to explain it. I waited a while to get in line, then went behind Diane. I let Kincie get in front of me long enough to get cheesy potatoes for her kid. Then I spent too long trying to sever a turkey leg from its body.

The rooms were really crowded with tables. 55 peopole had signed up, but more came. Melissa gave me her seat because she had to take her daughter to work. I sat and ate. When she came back, I got a chair from the garage for her. Later Chris got a chair for himself and ate with me. I went back for more turkey, getting the last of one and bringing over another whole turkey to take its place. It looked really good so I took a leg for later.

After a while, people turned to desserts, then slowly said goodbye and filtered out. With less crowding, ladies gathered in the kitchen to contain the leftovers. I gathered tablecloths and the men moved the chairs and tables to the garage. I hadn't noticed the big truck that pulled up to collect them. Michelle took the cloths home to wash. Chris took me and our food home to get cleaning supplies. He stayed home to talk to the colonel.

I went back with a mop, broom, vacuum and washcloths. Only a few people were left. I started dustmopping the floors. Soon only the CSM was left. And she had to leave. So then I vacuumed the rooms and started cleaning the countertops. She came back and helped vaccuum. Then Jamie stopped by. We had a little chat and she left with the CSM. I finished mopping the floors, and took all the remaining stuff out.

When I got home, the food was still out. I put the turkey leg away. I got online to catch up on messages. I ate some fruit and some of the sweet potato casserole. It got late, so I worked on my blog. Chris put the leftovers in the garage since the fridge was full.

I made tea and we watched two episodes of The Librarians. Then we read stuff on our laptops, and finally he went to bed. It got really late really quickly and I went to bed around midnight.

Making goat butter

Thursday

I got up about 7:15, not having slept well. Still out of melatonin. I wrote up a blurb for the next three sewing classes. That didn't take too long, but finding an image to post with it took far longer. How hard is it to find an image of a reversible placemat?

Anyway, Michelle came over to pick up cheese and two goat milk bottles. We talked for awhile, then the CSM called. Michelle left and I talked to Mauvet. She asked me to decorate for Friendsgiving. I went back to looking at images, picked one and posted the blurb, also sent it to Chris for e-mail distribution.

Then I searched for my coconut oil. I didn't find it so I had to open a new one. I washed the sweet potatoes and rubbed them with oil, then put them in the oven. I looked up a holiday roll recipe. It was old so I had to adapt it for bread machine use. I warmed whey on the stove as my liquid.

I listened to Endgame. When the sweet potatoes came out, I peeled and mashed them with the listed ingredients. Then I formed the rolls and let them rise. I met Michelle up at the Friendsgiving house. But it was locked, so we went to Headquarters to get the key. We returned to the house and went in to find 8 round tables set up. There were tablecloths there and they were a little wrinkled. Michelle took them home to wash, while I went home to finish my casseroles and rolls.

I made breakfast and ate while listening to Endgame, then The Highwire, then back to Endgame. When the rolls came out of the oven, I started another batch in the bread machine and texted Michelle and met her at the Friendsgiving house. I put my sweet potato casserole and rolls in the fridge. She brought the tablecloths. I had an iron and a towel, but could not make much of a difference. There were decorations, so we put some up and made arrangements for each table.

We paused in the middle of that to go walking at the gym with Diane. After walking, Michelle and I went to my house to get the pumpkins. Then we went back to the Friendsgiving house to finish the decorations and arrange the pumpkins on the sidewalk.

It was after 5 when I got home. The dough was over-risen, but I punched it back down. I made a salad, then formed the rolls and left them to rise. I cut some rosemary and took it to Diane, along with the rest of the oregano. Chris came home from work just before I got back.

I took two containers of goat cream from the fridge. They had been defrosting. I put them in the mixer. I was surprised how long it took to turn to whipped cream. Chris tasted it. Then I kept mixing and mixing, hoping for butter. That took so much longer and it kept splattering. Finally I filtered all the liquid out. When I mixed again, more liquid came out. Then I put it in a small container and mashed salt into it, pouring off even more liquid. Finally I had goat butter!

I took a pic. I baked the second batch of rolls and spread some of the butter on them. I put the butter milk in the fridge. It was pretty good, too. I posted the pic to Facebook. It sparked a conversation with an old friend. I perused Keepsake Quilting's sale and ordered some fabric and scissors. I posted to my blog and made tea. We watched two episodes of Librarians. Later Chris went to bed, and I stayed up a little longer. At 11:30, I called it quits and headed off to bed.

Extra cleaning

Wednesday

I got up around 8. I put coffee on the stove. I cut up ginger from the fridge and put it in the freezer. I brushed and swished. I went to the garage to rebound. I brought in some tomatoes that were starting to ripen and those that were rotting. I answered a text. I did my exercises.

I did my meditation and tapping. Then I cleaned the bathrooms and kitchen. I spent more time than usual, hitting spots I normally ignore. I washed the bathroom rugs and mopped the floors. I cleaned the toilet brush holders.

It was around 3 when I finally took my shower. Then I went walking with Diane at the gym. Jenni joined a little late, and Michelle came in just before Diane had to quit to go back to work. Diane and Jenni talked about cooking turkeys for Friendsgiving.

The rest of us stayed to work out in the weight room. Michelle had me try a new machine to work on my back. I might have overdone it. Then I went home for a warmer coat. Then I stopped at the post office for the mail. I proceeded to the commissary for sweet potatoes and kombucha, which I just discovered is cheaper at the commissary than in town.

I brought the groceries home, but forgot about them because my key ring fell apart and I couldn't find the swap shop keys. Thankfully when I went back for them, they were not frozen. Whew! Low temps have been in the teens all week.

I ruminated over what Michelle told me. When Chris got back from Mass, I told him, but he said he needed to hear it from the firsthand person in order to take action. We discussed that at length. I made tea and we watched two episodes of The Librarians. As usual, I listened to Endgame and then went to bed.

Stocking up on stamps

Tuesday

I got up around 7:30, having slept just ok. I ran out of melatonin several nights ago. I composed and sent an e-mail, then turned on the HappyLight, intending to read for half an hour. But it was actually more than an hour. Then I went to the post office to mail a check. While I was there, I heard a lady ask for holiday stamps and the postmaster told her he couldn't get any until he sold most of his inventory of regular stamps. He checked and saw he had to sell $300 worth, so I bought $96 worth, then went home and posted to the Dugway page that the price is going up in January and people should stock up now.

I put a tall mirror behind the tower garden so it would get more light. I made and ate breakfast. Chris came home for lunch. I listened to Dr. Jane's interview. I looked at the base case to see what condition it was in. It needed a seam mended and a new zipper.

At 2 I took my trombone and went to Saronna's house. They were all feeling better except for her husband. He went in the back and we played through Christmas songs, marking each one with an x or a checkmark.

She went to get her kids after school, so I went to Headquarters to talk to Revonna, but she wasn't at her desk. Then I went to the library to get the next season of I Dream of Jeannie. From there, I went to the CDC to inquire about the tree lighting ceremony, but she wasn't in either. Finally I went to the gym and walked with Tonja. Michelle joined us for the last few laps.

I went home, stopping by the swap shop to lock it. I put some cheese in a jar for Michelle. I made and ate a salad. I joined Zoom to watch the quilt guild meeting. But I had to leave it early to go to the Town Hall. Michelle had made treats, but they had sugar. I went inside and sat by Jenni. Immediately, the meeting started. Each department head had something to say and then they opened it for questions. I did my share of asking questions and making comments.

We took a short break, and then there was a meeting about unexploded ordinance cleanup next to the base. It was long and complicated, but the upshot was that they would take 2-3 years to collect data and then decided how to remediate it. Most people did not stay for the meeting.

So I talked to a few people, then went home, leaving Chris talking to other folks. I made tea and practiced. Then we watched two episodes of The Librarians. I tried to catch up on Propaganda Exposed, but it got too late and I went to bed.

The MWR meeting

Monday

I got up around 7:30, not having slept well. I washed up. I soaked dishes in the sink and scrubbed them. I emptied the dish washer. I watered the plants, put a form in an envelop and walked it to the post office to mail.

I went to a meeting at MWR that they invited me to. They discussed their plans for the next 14 months. They asked for suggestions, so I made a few.

When I got home, I made and ate breakfast. I closed a window on my computer but it wouldn't stop playing. I went on looking at other e-mail, but finally had to reboot to get peace and quiet.

At 3:30 I went walking with the ladies at the gym. I heard the chaplain's wife is being life-flighted out, but not why. I said a prayer for her.

I went home, and listened while playing Solitaire - I am on the last level. I investigated using hypochlorous acid on mold. I have the machine so maybe it would be ok to clean a moldy house?

I made a salad, and ate it while watching an episode of Endgame, thinking that I have seen this one before. I worked on my blog. I made tea and we watched several episodes of The Librarians. As usual, I listened to the next episode of Propaganda Revealed, then went to bed.

Sharing with Saronna

Sunday

I got up late. I made muffins, and then seed crackers. Chris gave me a coconut oil massage. Later I took a shower. I made up supplements for two weeks and set aside the ones that need reordering.

I made and ate breakfast, then got ready for church. I went to the chapel with my trombone. I chatted with the chaplain and his assistant. After the sermon, I played several hymns by taking requests. I chatted afterward, then went home.

I got stuff together for Saronna and her family. I went over to deliver the nebulizer and some quercetin juice that I made from grapefruit pieels. Then I went to Michelle's house to pick up two jars of goat milk. Since it was dated Nov 2, I immediately heated it. I read e-mail and kept an eye on the thermometer. When it got to 180, I added citric acid, then some vinegar to make sure it made curds. I read again as it sat to cool. Then I did a lot of filtering of curds. I washed the jars for Michelle to take back to the goat man.

Chris made bacon in the oven, and ran his online game. I scrolled through fleece on Joanns website looking for stuff for the next class project. I listened to the next episode of Endgame, wrote my blog post, and made tea. I ate frozen watermelon while we watched two episodes of The Librarians.

Afterward, I opened the package from Faye which came yesterday. Confetti fell out everywhere. There was a birthday card, gift, and an estate form for me to sign. I signed the form and made copies of the packet. We dressed the bed. I finalized the Joanns order, listened to the rest and went to bed.

Cleaning the house on the hill

Saturday

We got up before 8:30. I read e-mail and finished listening to the episode of Endgame from last night. I read about stopping a headache with two questions: what color is it, and what does it taste like? I explored possible sewing projects for the next class.

I added the last of the goat milk to the LAB ferment, but discovered it had bugs in it. So I threw the whole thing into the compost pile. I got dressed, wrote a message in a card to John's mom. I put on coat to go to the post office, but just then Michelle and her husband stopped by to try a RAM stick on the computer. It did not work with the older computer.

After they left, I made and ate breakfast. I got cleaning supplies together and put them in my car. I stopped at the post office, then went up on the hill. I called Dispatch to open the door and they said someone was on the way.

When we got inside, they discovered that the water was off. After they left, I went home and filled three milk jugs with hot water. I brought them to the house. I swept the floors and scrubbed the toilets. I also scrubbed the counter tops. I did not mop the floors, leaving that for AFTER the party. I only needed one gallon of water. I packed up and went home. I called Dispatch to lock the house.

I watered plants with the extra water. I listened to podcasts while playing Solitaire. Chris bought persimmons at the commissary. I ate one and it was very astringent, so I put the rest on the window sill with a banana. I ate the last of the steak, plus a salad. I washed the nebulizer parts and put some juice in a jar for Saronna. I wrote my blog post, then made tea. We watched several episodes of The Librarians. I listened to the next episode of Propaganda Revealed, then went to bed.

The usual Friday

Friday

I stayed in bed late for some reason, not wanting to get up. When I did, I brushed and got dressed. I found a message from the Bird Bat Bee guy so I called him. He did not realize there is a 2 hour time difference. He talked for some time. I texted him Faye's number and e-mail. Jenni texted me. I deleted all the e-mail I won't read.

I watered the plants, then went back to Propaganda Exposed. The dental office called to reschedule for Dec 9th at 11am. That messes with my schedule.

Just before noon, I started making breakfast. Chris made his lunch. Afterward, we packed the cooler and went to Tooele. We shopped at Luckey's, Melanie's and Macey's. Then I went to the $ store for masking tape.

When we got back to base, we put the food away. I read e-mail while Chris cooked me a steak and mushrooms. I forgot to make a salad. I posted to my blog, then made tea.

We watched two episodes of The Librarians. Then I practiced my trombone. I saw that the desktop computer was back up with the new watch battery. I'm not sure all it's problems have been solved. I listened to Propaganda Revealed, then went to bed.

Needs a new battery

Thursday

I got up about 7:15. I thought Chris would be gone, but he had rescheduled with the colonel for 7:30. So we had some snuggle tine and he left. I read with the Happy Light for awhile, then got on the internet to peruse news and such.

I listened to podcasts, then made breakfast and listened to The Highwire. They were interviewing obstetricians about the rise in fetal deaths and abnormalities. I placed an order with WalMart. But for some reason, it listed most items to be shipped but declared one available for pickup. So I got on their chat and worked with an agent to get it all shipped.

At 3:30, I got my sauna bag together and went to the gym. Diane was waiting for someone from Dispatch to open the door. Then we went in and started working out. Michelle came and I let her in. After our workout, we went in the sauna to chat and sweat. Did both.

I went home and washed up, changing into clean clothes. Then I gave my car a sponge bath because it was covered in bird crap. I don't know how they did that much in less than 90 minutes.

Michelle and Casey came over. He took the old desktop computer tower apart and pulled the battery out. He also talked about the hard drive possibly being corrupted. Chris came back from a meeting in Tooele. We all talked for a while. Then they went home.

I posted to my blog, then we watched two episodes of The Librarians. Chris went to bed later, and I stayed up till 11:30 listening to some podcast.

Not in favor of home meetings

Wednesday

I got up after 7:30. But then Chris came back from the gym. As he got ready for work, I prepared for coffee morning. After he left, I did the meditation and tapping. Afterward, I cleaned the bathrooms and kitchen.

Chris came home for lunch. He told me he saw the guy who didn't answer his doorbell on Monday. I'm glad he's not dead. Then Chris' assistant called to say there was a meeting going on, so he dialed in on his phone. I had to stop vacuuming. So I washed dishes then took a shower. When I got out, he was gone.

I got dressed. I read e-mail until 3:30. I met Diane at the gym. We walked the track for half an hour. We discussed Friendsgiving, which she hadn't heard about.

I went home, read e-mail, then turned on the HappyLIght and listened to This Week with Mary and Polly. Chris came home with white containers of food, then went to the chapel for Mass.

I continued reading. Then I worked on my blog post about yesterday. I watched part of episode 1 of Endgame. Chris came home from Mass with a pizza since the Community Club will be closed tomorrow for Veteran's Day. I worked on my blog, then made tea.

We watched several episodes of The Librarians. I hope we have enough episodes to get us through till Monday when the library opens again. Later he went to bed and still later, I paused what I was listening to and hit the hay.

Community meeting

Tuesday

I got up at 7:35. No more sneezing or tickle in my nose. I washed up and got online. I deleted e-mail and listened to a podcast. He said that marine magnesium plus zeolites can detox 99% of cesium 137.

I fluffed guest pillows in the dryer. I cleaned up a space on the dining room table, and one at the desk where I plan my cleaning and planting.

I started making breakfast early so I wouldn't be in Chris' way, but he didn't come home for lunch. Saronna canceled our play date because her whole family has a bug. So I used the time to play trombone and work on an accompaniment part to “When the Saints”.

I went walking with Diane at 3. Afterward, I went to the school to drop off something for the food drive. Then I went to the post office for the mail. When I got home, I read e-mail and Telegram messages.

Chris came home from work. Faye called, I think. Then we got in his car and went to the Community Club. He got in line to order supper. I went to the far room to join those gathered for the community meeting. Some people were eating. Others had ordered and their meals were brought out. It started late because of that. Charity ran the meeting. We talked about Friendsgiving, and Turkey Trot, and the cookie swap in December. We had some new people and we all introduced ourselves. I stayed afterward to talk to people.

When we got home, I picked some spinach and made a salad with eggs on top. I had a tasty salad dressing to put on it, but it hardens in the fridge. Hmmm. I read e-mail, then wrote my blog post. I worked on the music. I made tea, and we watched several episodes of The Librarians. Later I listened to an interview and played ASMR in the background. I went to bed about 11 as the rain turned to snow.

There was no answer

Monday

I woke up seeing some daylight and hearing Chris in the shower. I waited until after he left to get up. I brushed and swished. I heard the wind whipping the chimes something fierce. I started sneezing over and over, so I made a bottle of rinse and irrigated to get rid of the irritant.

Chris left a pile of socks in my sewing room and said he needed some for the rest of the week. I sewed 5 pairs of socks, and left the rest as unusable. I listened to podcasts. Chris came home for lunch. I made and ate breakfast.

I went to see a house for a quote, but no one answered the door. I went home and watched videos on Christmas ornaments for class. Faye called about estate stuff - seems to be going well. I watched a podcast on the dangers of radiation from ultrasound - more dangerous than a chest x-ray to the fetus, especially if the roller isn't kept in motion.

I put up the wheelbarrow and some other stuff and brought in the lawn mower battery. I walked with the ladies at the gym. I talked to Tonja afterward, then went home. I nebulized with silver to curtail the sneezing. I listened to a podcast. I ate an egg, then made a salad, picking spinach from the tower garden, plus some carrot tops and fresh rosemary.

Chris came home from work late. We talked about the man not answering the door and Chris said they could make a wellness check. Then he made his supper and washed the socks I mended this morning. I nebulized again because the sneezing came back. I made tea and we watched two episodes of The Librarians. Chris went to bed, and I stayed up till 11:30 listening to a podcast, then hit the hay and slept well.

DnD game #2

Sunday

We got up early according to the new time. We changed the clocks to reflect that. Chris turned on the router and I read e-mail and watched health videos.

At noon I made breakfast, then rushed to get dressed and went to the chapel with my trombone. I put snacks on the back table and got my trombone ready. Sgt Kent (the therapy dog) greeted me. I talked to the chaplain who was there with his boys. Michelle came and sat with me. We had praise songs, then the sermon, and then I played hymns that people chose.

Michelle stayed after the service to sing with some others. I went home, and finished a podcast. I changed to regular clothes. I ate the rest of the steak. Faye called to talk about estate stuff. Chris made some rice. We put antifreeze in our cars. I put the wheelbarrow almost away, but it was 5 so I came inside to join the DnD game. Chris mixed rice in with the steak juice and I ate that.

In the game, we went to a crypt in the graveyard and got some magical items, then went back to the professor's house. The next day we greeted some girls playing jumprope and singing a disturbing song. We also went to the local temple and asked to look at records of the fire that broke out at the prison.

It was over at 8. I posted to my blog and made tea. We watched an episode of Pickard and one of The Librarians. Later Chris went to bed, and I stayed up until 11, then retired as well.

Sewing class meets Birthday party

Saturday

We got up around 8:30. I brushed and swished and got dressed. I pulled fabrics for today's project. I cut up 4 cups of grapefruit peels and washed them, then put them in the crock pot to make quercetin, Chris gave me a massage. I started making breakfast, then took a shower. I looked at sewing videos as I ate.

I went to the chapel with my sewing gear. Chris helped to unload it. Tonja arrived as I went back home to get the sample project. We set up 4 machines. She brought some stuff I had left last time. The two girls arrived and I got them started on the jar openers. Their mother was home with their sick brothers. Sadly the girls were a little sniffley too. Jenni started on the nine-patch block.

Then the chaplain and his family came in with Michelle. They were having a birthday party for the 6 year old. They had pizza and cake and ice cream. We were not expecting them, nor they us. And It got quite loud when other kids arrived. The noise and the sick girls bothered Tonja and I felt somewhat responsible. Michelle's daughter came and made two sewing projects.

It took Jenni quite a while to finish because she kept sewing the block to the bag and catching the sides in the seam. So It was close to 5 by the time I got home. Chris cooked me a steak and mushrooms. I made a salad, and ate it while listening to podcasts. Injections with stainless steel needles causes some level of metal toxicity from the needle. The MRNA injections cause far higher toxicity from the needles than most other kinds of injections. Needles are not being manufactured with enough resistance to oxidation in possibly acidic solutions.

I made tea, and practiced a little. We watched episodes of Pickard, season 2. I squeezed the juice out of the grapefruit peels and poured off the liquid into a jar which went into the fridge. We dressed the bed with clean sheets. Then we played on our laptops for awhile. Chris went to bed first, and I came later.

Lots of family phone calls

Friday

I kept waking up throughout the night. I got up after 8. It was 20 degrees out. I got dressed, then brushed and swished. I drove to the company house. I spent 15min getting the laundry started and spraying down surfaces and toilets. I stopped at the garden to get some chard, but it was pretty frosty. When I got back, I listened to a podcast. EDTA was recommended for detoxing spike proteins. Myocarditis in children has gone from 4 cases in a million to 25,000 cases per million in Thailand. My computer got really slow so I rebooted.

I went back to the house at 10:45 and cleaned until 12:35, totally finished. I went home to make breakfast. Chris came back from the office. He ate his lunch, then we packed the cooler and went to the post office. I picked up the mail, then we drove to Tooele. We listened to the book on CD all the way.

First we stopped at the bank to cash my check which came in the mail. Then we shopped at Luckey's. While Chris checked out, I walked to Melanie's who was having a sale. I chatted with the people who work there. I picked out products, including EDTA, and paid for them in cash. The owner really appreciated that.

I took my purchases out to the car. Chris drove us to Macey's. We got the rest of our groceries, then went home. Michele called to ask if Chris could make her favorite dishes for John when they come. She also wants me to digitize and sew out some gaming emblems for them. I had to tell her that the computer which runs my embroidery software isn't working.

When we got home, we unloaded the car and put away the food, or the refrigerated food at least. Chris called his brother to wish him a happy birthday and he called his parents to see how they are doing. I whipped up a batch of seed crackers. I refilled some of the mixes, but realized I am out of sesame seed. How did I not know that earlier so we could have bought more?

We made and ate our usual suppers. I read articles from e-mail. I posted to my blog, then made tea. We watched the last episodes of I Dream of Jeannie, and one of The Librarians. I listened to podcasts for quite some time, then went to bed.

Searching for the key

Thursday

When I got up, I found the colonel's key on my keyboard, attached to a napkin. I brushed and swished. I pulled fabric from my stash for the next project. Terri texted at 8:58. I had forgotten our call, so I called her. We talked for about an hour. I finished my nine-patch block and pinned it to a bag. I took a photo and posted the class on Facebook. The whole thing took way too long because of a bad pre-filled bobbin.

I made and ate breakfast while watching The Highwire. I paused it when Diane texted that the repair man was waiting for me at the Colonel's house. I was told that the call would come from the gate so I could meet him there. Anyway, I threw on shoes and grabbed the key and my handbag. I drove up to the hill, where the man was waiting with a police escort. The police left and I tried to open the door, but I didn't have the key. It wasn't in my pockets or my purse or my car.

I left him there and drove home. I didn't find it there either. I searched everywhere that made sense and even places that didn't. I realized my swap shop keys were gone as well. I called Chris, but he didn't answer. I texted Diane and she said to call Dispatch. So I did. They said they would show up with a key, So I drove back to the colonel's house. And I waited. I prayed in tongues. Finally it occurred to me that Housing might have a key. I called Michelle, but she didn't answer, and then Dispatch showed up. So I got out and accompanied the repair man inside when the door was unlocked. I showed him the washer and he got to work. I texted the colonel. And I texted Michelle, explaining the problem. Then the door bell rang and the officer wanted me to fill out a report. So I did. The repair man left, saying he had to order a circuit board. I went out to give the report to the police. Michelle showed up with the key! I told her to follow me home and explain how she found it. So we left, but she had to go home.

I watched a little more of The Highwire, then went to the gym to walk. Diane and Jenni were there. Tonja was minding the swap shop. We walked for 15 minutes and then Michelle came. She explained that she went in my hallway and noticed the paper napkin that the colonel's key was attached to hanging out of a plastic bag. Huh!? There was no way to explain it, but I was so glad she found it. Diane went back to work, Jenni went home, Michelle and I talked a little longer, then each went home as well.

I had a bite to eat. I finished The Highwire. Chris came home from work with a pizza. I worked on my blog while listening to podcasts. I made tea and we watched TV. Then Chris tried to carry me to bed, but that didn't work out too well. We both fell asleep with the router and lights still on.

I need more notice!

Wednesday

I got up after 8. There wasn't much daylight and soon it started snowing. I did my exercises and made coffee. I tapped and meditated. Then I started cleaning. I did the bathrooms and the kitchen. I washed most of the dishes in the sink.

The snow continued. After vacuuming, I took a shower and got dressed. At 3:30 I went to the gym to walk with the ladies. But only Michelle showed up. First we discussed the trip to the hot springs. Then Michelle and I walked around the track above the gym for almost an hour. She told me the latest on several topics.

I took her home and we talked some more in the car. Mostly about Thanksgiving. Then I went home, stopping at the post office to pick up the mail. When I got home, I opened two packages: one was yards of black zipper tape, and the other held two shower filters.

Chris came home from work and made his supper. He said Michele and John are coming here for Thanksgiving. (When was he going to tell me?) I think I need at least 6 months clean-up time ahead of arrival.

I looked through items on a website called Azurestandard. They have stuff in big packages that they deliver to a drop-off location, in this case; Melanies. I found two things and looked for more.

I made tea. I wrote my blog post. We watched episodes of Jeannie. Chris went to bed. I stayed up to listen to something and got to bed very late.

Playing with Saronna

Tuesday

I think I heard the 7:30 alarm, but got up around 8. I had had a hard time falling asleep and surmised that it was the lavender milk tea. I brushed and swished, then checked e-mail. I nebulized, and rinsed my sinuses.

At noon I made and ate breakfast. Chris came home for lunch. He made cooked fish for me. After he left, I mowed in the back yard and put the mower away. I took my trombone and went to Saronna's house. Faye called on the short ride over. I texted the BBB man about his fee.

Saronna and I talked for a bit and then played Christmas songs. Her little boy loved it. I meant to ask for her bass case before I left, but forgot.

I went home, and texted with Michelle. Then I went to the gym and walked with the ladies. Everybody made it today. Tonja gave me bags for sewing class.

I went home. I read articles and listened to a podcast. At 4:55 Faye called again. I talked to her as I drove to the gym to meet Michelle. I did three circuits,: arms, legs, and core. We talked for a bit, then she and her daughter went to volleyball at 6.

I went home and picked up listening to the podcast. Chris came home earlier than I was expecting. He brought three pomegranates from the commissary. I had to pause it while listening to him talk.

I picked spinach and made a salad. I worked on my blog and made tea. Since I played so much with Saronna, I did not practice. We watched several episodes of Jeannie. He read more e-mail and went to bed. I stayed up to listen to parts of other podcasts with ASMR going in the background. I went to bed and had no trouble sleeping.

Halloween

Monday

I slept through Reveille. I think I woke to the 7:35 alarm. I got up around 8. I brushed and swished. I did some nebulizing and rinsed my sinuses. I re-soaked Chris' shirt and put hot water in the bucket. I watered the plants. I listened to podcasts while washing the cheese-making implements.

Chris came home at 11 for lunch. He pulled out the bread machine, so I filled it and ran it. I got a call rescheduling my 1pm for next Monday 'cause the movers didn't come. I called Jamie to tell her.

I made and ate breakfast. I went to the apartment for the inspection. It was fine but they were talking about the house they'd just seen (which I am going to see next week). They said we needed to charge at least $1000, if not $1000 each. Yikes! I can't wait to see it.

I signed paperwork, then went by Housing to drop off the keys to the apt. I went home. At 3:30 I met the ladies at the school and walked around the block. I went by the library to get the next book in the series. I told her we were watching The Librarians and she said they already had it so we didn't have to buy it. Oh well.

I went home, listened to part of a podcast. I turned on the porch light. I put on some garb and sat outside with a bowl of toys. My neighbor came by with her little girl. After they left, I picked pieces of weed off of the fencing around a flower bowl. Later I got a book to read. By 7 it was too dark to see. So I went inside and left the bowl out. But then I saw some kids on the porch so I went out and they had each taken one of each kind of toy - not what I had in mind. So then I brought the bowl in and waited for kids to knock. A few did. Saronna's kids did, and Jamie came by with her young teen. After they left, I turned the light off.

I worked on my blog. After publishing, I made tea and used a packet of lavender milk tea that Tonja gave me. I practiced my trombone. We watched an episode of The Librarians, and one of Jeannie. Afterward, I listened to a podcast, then went to bed.
