They're back!

Saturday

I got up around 8. I took the drops, then brushed and swished. I rinsed the sprouts and the mung beans which had soaked overnight. I cleaned up my blog post for yesterday. I watched a presentation:

Diabetes is caused by excess PUFA's in the fat cells. That's how they make lab mice diabetic in order to test new medications for diabetes. It is good to take charcoal, reduce soluble fiber and resistant starches, and eat more simple carbohydrates.

Chris took a shower and we went to Tooele. We shopped at the usual places then went back to base. We stopped at the commissary. We ran into Diane's husband who is selling their son's baritone. I ordered a case of kombucha because it is always sold out when we get there.

On the way home, we stopped at the post office. I picked up some air filters there. At home, we unpacked the car and put the food away. I made breakfasts and listened to a podcast while I ate. I also listened to several short audios on climate change and the importance of CO2 to plant life. One expert said El Nino has more effect on global warming than any emissions humans produce. The trees of the world absorb 2x the CO2 than humans are producing.

Brian and Johnnie texted that they had arrived and were setting up their RV. She needed sheets, so we went through the closet and found a queen set. Then we went over. They welcomed us. He showed us the new bells and whistles he'd added and the effective mouse trap. Then we sat inside and talked for hours. He told us of his experience with Chat GPT. I asked if it could write a song about quilting. It did, but there was no tune, so it was just a poem.

Tiffany texted to let us know that she'd had strep throat and 24 hours of antibiotics. I talked to Chris about it later and we decided not to go to her party tonight. Instead we took grocery receipts to Tonja for her app. Then we went home and fixed our own suppers. I read e-mail and listened to a podcast.

While I was reading e-mail, I saw a post on the Dugway Facebook page about a playground being vandalized. The pic looked like one of ours so I told Chris about it. He made me call the Dugway police. Then I read the comments underneath and near the bottom, someone said it wasn't on Dugway.

Chris left to help the colonel carry something. Then Michelle texted that she wanted to come over and show me something. When she knocked on the door, I noticed police cars outside. As I came out, Chris and the colonel were unloading stuff for the swap shop into our garage. The colonel asked me to clean his kitchen when he moves out. There was some discussion of other things, then he left. By then the police were gone as well.

So Michelle showed us a website she was building called KNOWbodys of Dugway. It is supposed to be a place to get answers about Dugway. I asked how come the colonel dropped his stuff at our house instead of taking it to the swap shop where I could open it for him? She did not have an answer to that.

She and I loaded his stuff into her SUV and dropped it off at the swap shop. Then she took me home. I made tea and Chris and I watched an episode of SG1. He went to bed while I worked on my blog. Then I read and went to bed.

Crystal River Hot Springs

Friday

I got up at 7. I took supplements, brushed and got dressed. I packed water bottles, and snacks and a mat, towel and bathing suit. At 8:30 I went to the company house to take the sheets from the dryer and put the towels in. Then I went to the gym to meet the van.

Erin and Tim and Brittany were there, as was the CSM. We signed consent forms. Jenni came out of the gym. We talked in the van until Kacei arrived, then we hit the road.

After 2+ hours of driving, we stopped at a Dairy Queen for lunch. I ate some of the food I brought. Then we continued on to the hot springs. When we got there, Brittany went in and bought wristbands for us. Then we went to the changing rooms and got in our suits. We headed to the pool area. Actually there were several pools of various shapes, sizes, depths and temperatures. All but one were fed from the hot springs and were high in mineral content. One was like a normal swimming pool. I was hoping it would be cold, but it was lukewarm.

At the back of the first pool we saw, there was a grotto behind a waterfall. It was a good place to sit out of the sun. The water was warm and shallow. I sat in there sometimes and explored the other pools at other times. Another big pool was hot and deep. Then there were some hot tub-shaped pools of various temps. So that's how we spent several hours.

Before 2:30, we headed to the dressing room to change back. We were quitting a little early because we didn't want to get sun-burned. I ate my pack of seaweed, then hopped in the van. When we were all gathered, Brittany drove us back to base. The ones in the back chatted together and I did Sudoku.

Once we were back, we parted ways. I went home and ate some seed crackers. I jotted notes for my blog. I read e-mail for a bit, then went to the company house to make the beds and clean the kitchen and bathrooms.

I got back about 8. After a few minor things, I took my water jug and went to Game Night at Michelle's house. Casey was still working on getting the game up and Michelle needed to vent. So I listened. When the game was on, I played it and we continued to chat. She gave me a few hints when I needed them.

At 11, I exited the game. We talked a little longer, then she carried the water out to my car and I drove home. Chris was already in bed, so I carried the water in. I unplugged the router and went to bed.

Getting a lot of little things done

Thursday

I got up when Chris left for work. After the usual supplements, and probiotic, I rinsed the sprouts. I checked e-mail, then looked at my yogurt maker to see if all the parts were there. I listened to a podcast named mental disorders are metabolic disorders. I tied a wet papertowel to the handle of the flyswatter and cleaned between the glass on oven door. It didn't get it all but it was much better. It was necessary to remove the drawer under the stove, so I vacuumed that space.

I tried shortening the foot extension on the inversion table so that the back support would be in the right place. But then so much of me was over the balance point that I found myself quickly upside down and had trouble getting upright again. I put some yeast in a bowl of warm water to proof. I listened some more, then paused it to get dressed. I took the envelop of money and went to the second street house for inspection. There were no problems. Jamie added up her hours. Mine were a little more, but I gave her half of the money anyway.

I made and ate breakfast. I read articles, then used the blooming yeast to make bread in the bread machine. I used the teal balloon from yesterday to get flakes out of the coffee grounds for next week. Jamie came over to do yard work.

I met Michelle at the school, and gave her the yogurt machine. I went walking, then we went to the End of Month of Military Child party. I talked to people. Charity gave me some pointers on packing for tomorrow, then Michelle drove me back to my car.

I went home, took drops, and read e-mail. Chris came home to change his clothes and wait for Casey to pick him up for Knife Night. I made a salad and ate a can of chicken. Then the bread was done, but it was still a short, dense loaf. Huh. I jotted notes for my blog.

I went to the company house to get the first load in the washer. I also scrubbed the toilets. I went home and put on an interview. I put some sunflower sprouts in a baggie for Jamie. I planted the peas in two places: the big pot out front and the old tomato spot beside the house. A gopher ran into a nearby hole so I got the hose to flush him out. But when I went to get a big rock, he ran away and I couldn't catch him.

I finished the interview and worked on my blog. At 8:45 I went to Jamie's house to drop off the sprouts, then I went to the company house to get the next load started. When I got home, Chris was back and on his laptop. I made tea and practiced my trombone. Then we watched one episode of SG1. I got on my laptop to look up one of the actors. Chris went to bed and I shut down a little early myself. I did some tapping about packing tomorrow, then went to bed.

The sexual assault ribbon

Wednesday

I got up around 7, thinking it was later. I drank hydrogen water and took 4 drops of the mix Melanie gave me. I put on water for coffee. To get the plastic particles out of the coffee grounds, I looked for a balloon, but couldn't find one. I tried making static with a disposable glove, but that didn't work. However, rubbing a milk jug on my head, did. I held it over the coffee grounds and it picked up particles. Not all were plastic, and I had to do it multiple times to get most of the plastic. Sigh.

After making coffee and doing the lymph exercises, I started meditation and tapping. I also started the MMS protocol. When that process was done, I cleaned the bathrooms, then moved to the kitchen. I cleaned counter tops and washed dishes. Chris did not come home for lunch, which was good because I mopped the floor all the way to the front door. Then I vacuumed the carpets and took a shower.

CJ brought two dozen eggs by. But one tall one cracked on top. I read some e-mail, fretting over how my schedule is being hijacked today. Because of “Denim Day”, everyone is supposed to gather at the parade field at 4 in teal shirts for a picture in the shape of a ribbon. I tried on a pair of jeans, but there was no way I could get them on. So I put on blue pants. Then I met the ladies at 3 to go walking. I had to take that dose of MMS early.

When I got to the gym, I explained that I was in a bad mood. They didn't seem to mind. We walked the long way around and came out at the parade field, half an hour early. So we stood around talking. Diane had lots of teal t-shirts to give away. She also had teal balloons for everyone to hold in the picture. I waited until 4 to blow mine up because others were popping in the heat. Then I discovered it had a slow leak in it. So I had to get another one.

Around 4:15 we had enough people for a picture. There was a crane there to hold the photographer up high enough. After several shots, the people dispersed. Eventually Michelle and Tonja and I walked back to the gym. Tonja went home but Michelle and I stayed to work out. We did a free weight workout for upper body and used the weight machines for legs. Anca's husband was around, chatting with Michelle as I worked out.

When I was done, we all went our separate ways. I went home. I divided a dozen of the eggs into 3's, beat them, and put them in the freezer. Chris came home briefly to change clothes and check his game. Then he was off to the chapel to meet the colonel. I worked on my blog, then read e-mail. After he got back, I made tea and we watched several episodes of SG1. I looked up some of the characters that seemed familiar. Chris went to bed soon after, but I stayed up until almost 11 to take 4 more drops and to do a little yoga for relaxation.

Second street house is finished!

Tuesday

I woke up early and went back to bed. Later I felt Chris come back to bed. I checked my watch: 7:15. At 7:30 he got in the shower. I heard him blow his nose, then start retching. I asked if he was ok and he said yes. Later he told me that he accidentally ingested shampoo. After he left, I got up. I got ready for the day in the usual ways. I rinsed the sprouts. I checked e-mail. I made seed crackers.

I went cleaning at 10. I didn't get there until 10:45 because I stopped briefly at the post office, and then at the library. I returned a book on CD and got the next one. Melissa noticed me and came out to talk. So we did.

When I got to the second street house, I mopped the livingroom floor, then the kitchen floor. I took a bucket of hot water out to rinse one of the recycling bins, and refilled the bucket for the other bin. I didn't spend a lot of time, but they looked better. On the way home I stopped at Housing to schedule the final inspection.

I started making breakfast. As I sat down to eat, Chris came home for lunch. We spoke for a bit, then I went back to listening to something. The colonel called and asked if we could help watch the movers pack his stuff when the time comes. We said yes.

I went back to e-mail until 2. Then I took my trombone and went to Saronna's house. She was waiting for me. She told me about a public meeting that the heads were having at the church just outside the front gate. I had heard of it but thought it was just for the heads. She had a text flyer and sent it to my phone. Then we played various songs. Her husband came home and listened.

When we were done, I went home and put my trombone back in the house. I read some e-mail, then went to the gym. I walked with Diane and Tonja. Diane is selling her son's baritone. Afterward, I gave Tonja the two bags of ironed fabric. She says she has some more for me.

When I got home, it was nice to relax and look through Telegram messages. After awhile, Chris came home and started making supper. I told him about the public meeting flyer and he said it was ok to post on the community Facebook page. After posting, I made a salad and he made up some dressing to go on it. I continued reading as I ate.

I worked on my blog and made tea. We watched two episodes of SG1. He went to bed, and I stayed up to read e-mail.

What we do for fun at Dugway

Monday

I got up at 8. I got ready for the day. I checked e-mail. I listened to a podcast while ironing yards of fabric. At 10 I went to the second street house. I scrubbed the front door and did some window sills and blinds. Then I mopped all the floors except the kitchen and main living room.

It was noon, so I went home for breakfast. I made it and ate while reading e-mail. The chlorophyll got stuck in my throat again. Ugh! Chris came home for lunch. I put on an interview and ironed fabric until 3. It was a sunny day. I watered the plants I placed the bundles of fabric in two plastic bags for Tonja. I put some sprouts in a jar for Michelle. Just as I was about to leave for the school, it started to rain. So I went to the gym. Diane was there, but no one else. So we walked and talked.

When we were done, I headed to Michelle's house to give her the sprouts. The rain stopped and the sun came out. She wasn't home, but her son and daughter let me in. Her daughter helped me forward an e-mail to her.

Then I went to Saronna's house to pick up Sophia. I got caught up talking to her parents. Sophia got a book to read while waiting in my car. Then I drove her to my house. She didn't have a math book because her teacher had finished the book and apparently wasn't teaching anything else. That didn't make sense to me. I suggested that she didn't need any more tutoring, but she said she liked to come anyway. (I didn't think this was a forever thing). I had math books on hand and pulled something from one. After she completed it, we cleaned the front door and made mud to wash down a gopher hole.

At 6 I took her home. Then I took the back way to my house to see the school building which had started to be demo-ed this morning. (That's what we do for fun at Dugway - gather to watch the big machines knock buildings down).

I made a salad for supper and put the last of the beef on it. Chris made split-pea soup. Michelle came over to talk about various subjects. It was after 8 when she left. I ate a little soup while working on my blog. Then I made tea and we watched two episodes of SG1. Chris went to bed a little later and I stayed up till after 11.

The puzzle party

Sunday

I got up around 8. I must have fallen asleep pretty quickly last night. I woke earlier, but went right back to sleep. I took the drops again. I rinsed the sprouts really well. I brushed and swished. I sprinkled used coffee grounds over the roots of the microgreens, then sat down to read e-mail.

Chris gave me a coconut oil massage, then we took our showers. I listened to an interview while ironing yardage. Chris went to work. I made and ate breakfast, then got dressed up. I took cheese squares and my trombone to church. The supply pastor got out of his car as I drove up. I had the key and he used it to let us in.

While he turned on lights and HVAC, I searched for a pianist's version of our hymn book and did not find one. I set up my trombone. I chatted with John. Jenni and her husband arrived. Then the pastor started the service. I played two hymns. The pastor gave his sermon about the holy trinity. I played three more hymns, suggested by congregants.

Afterwards, we chatted in groups. People snacked on cheese squares and headed out. I went home to change clothes. Then I went, at Rebecca's invitation, to her house to join a puzzle party already in progress.

It was a hard 1500 piece puzzle. The pic on the box did not show the whole thing so we had to guess at the top part. We had a good time. Then at 5, I went home for the family game, only to find out that John wasn't ready so it was canceled. Chris was making his supper, so I ate avocado dip with celery. I also had some sunflower sprouts, and rice.

I put on an interview and listened while I ironed yards and yards of fabric. Then at 8, I worked on my blog. I made tea and we watched episodes of SG1. Afterward, we made the bed with clean sheets. Chris went to bed not long after. I stayed up till aftr 11 reading comments on a tinnitus article.

The garden party

Saturday

I got up at 8, I rinsed the sprouts thoroughly and put some in a third container to relieve crowding. I listened to the rest of The Hightwire. A gut microbiome specialist was talking about testing people's microbiome before and after vaccination. She discovered the population of biffidobacteria went to 0, even in children.

I washed up and got dressed. I watered all the plants. I threw out the sugar cane - still no growth after 6 months. I listened to a podcast on a movie called The Last of Us.

I went to the post office. There were two packages, but I noticed one was not mine. So I turned it in and she checked to see if she had given them a package for me. Nope. Then I went to the company house to get the laundry started. There were only two dark things, so I put everything else in a white load and took the two darks home to wash with ours. I went home to drop off the towels and the package.

Then I went to the garden. There were lots of people there at the event, cleaning out their plots. I worked on mine and several people offered to help. Before noon they broke for lunch, which was hotdogs and hamburgers on the grill. I went to the company house to throw the sheets in the dryer. I went home to have a banana and I took our whites from the dryer and threw the darks in.

I went back to the garden. I helped the CSM with an unclaimed lot and the CDC lot. Her little girl helped and commented constantly. Finally it was just the three of us. We finished the lot and I went home. I noted that the lunch table was full of stuff and wondered if she had to clean it all up on her own.

I made and ate breakfast while reading e-mail. I watched videos on what to make with eggs. I opened the package and put the supplements away. I was so tired, but I went back to the company house to make the beds and clean the house. I did not mop because my mop is at the second street house. Sigh. But Jamie said it is finished except for the final mopping. I had to go back to the company house one last time to bring back the dark towels.

I was still tired. So Chris offered to drive me to the commissary. We went shopping for a few things that I didn't get in town. We brought it home and put the food away. I ate the last of the butter lettuce from last week. I also had some tomatoes and then pineapple. When I finished listening to New World Next Week, I worked on my blog.

I made tea and we watched episodes of SG1. Chris went to bed and I stayed up to read and listen. Befre going to bed, I took more of the drops that Melanie gave me.

The petroglyphs and the big fabric store

Friday

Chris' alarm went off at 6:30. I stayed in bed, so close to falling back asleep. I promised myself I could sleep in on Saturday. When Chris took his shower, I got up and washed up and got dressed. I packed up my stuff, getting it ready for the day. We spent a few minutes on our laptops, then packed them. Chris got a call from the colonel. Then we took our stuff downstairs and checked out.

We drove back to the Clubhouse. We parked around the corner and walked to the building. We kind of stood around for a bit. Then it was announced that the group going to the petroglyphs should go to the vans outside. The rest would be seated and wait for the Lil Feathers dancers. So we went outside. Some people got in a van. Someone with an SUV offered us a ride so we accepted.

It took over an hour to arrive at the site. There was nothing to mark it. Michelle and her family met us there. We stood around, shivering in the wind, waiting for the last van to arrive. There were small bags of nuts for snacks. I ate two.

We were told not to take pics because others might see them and find the site to vandalize it. Then the tribal elders went to look. Finally the rest of us walked up the hill. When the glyphs were pointed out, I was surprised how hard they were to make out. Probably wouldn't show up in a pic anyway. And, it seemed almost like it could be weather markings on rock. Except that no other rocks had those markings. We walked back down and stood around talking and trying to stay warm. Finally Michelle and I sat in her car for protection. I envied those who stayed behind to watch the dances and try beading and painting.

When the vans had loaded up, she and I headed out. I ate my pistachios while Michelle drove me to a large fabric store. Turns out it was mostly decorator fabric. We had fun looking though. I bought a few pieces of jersey. Then we went to Hobby Lobby. We looked at fabric, and a few other things. As we checked out, I realized I was very thirsty. Probably because all I had eaten were salty nuts. So we walked next door to the Red Robin and she asked for a cup of water. The bartender gave me one and I thanked him and we left.

Our next stop was half an hour later in Tooele. She dropped me off at Melanie's, which was having a Customer Appreciation Sale. While she went on to other stores, I talked to Melanie and Sheila about coming to Dugway. I also shopped for a few things I needed, but they didn't have everything. Then Michelle showed up in the store. I introduced her to Melanie and Sheila and we talked about having them come on June 2nd. Melanie showed me how to mix up Bach Flower Essences so I could see how it works and spread the word so we have a good turnout on June 2nd.

After I paid for my purchases, we headed back to base. When she dropped me off at my house, I brought my purchases inside, then got the bag of food from last night and handed it to her. Then I called Chris at the office to find my laptop. He said it was in his car. So I went to the parking lot and discovered that his car clicker was broken. I knocked on the door and he came out and used his regular clicker to unlock it. I took out my suitcase, laptop etc and put them in my car and went home.

I unpacked, then set up my laptop and turned on the internet. While I listened to Mike Adams and then Del Bigtree, I ate salad and fruit. I worked on my blog post for today and yesterday.

Then I emptied the water container and went to Michelle's house for game night. Her husband had it set up already. So I sat on the couch to play. He and she kind of watched, and chatted. She looked up hints when I needed them. I cleared a few games. Then I exited because it was 11pm. He filled up the water container and she carried it out to my car while I carried the two jars of sprouts. When I got home, Chris had already gone to bed. I left the water in the car and brought in the jars. I rinsed the sprouts well, then turned off my phone and the internet and went to bed.

Council of Indian Nations

Thursday

Chris got up in the dark and went to work out at the gym. I heard Reveille and then Chris came to take his shower. After he left for work, I got up and finished packing. I added some non-clothing items to my suitcase. I put pistachios in a baggie. I got dressed and ate some cheese squares. Chris came home before 8. We packed our laptops and put everything in the car. Then we went to the Headquarters parking lot and moved our luggage to a gov't vehicle. Chris went inside and got the key. And we headed to SLC.

We finished the book on CD. He pulled off the highway just as we reached I-80. He programmed the GPS for The Clubhouse. Then we followed the directions until we got there. There was street-side parking, but it was completely full. We had to park a couple blocks over and walk.

We entered a very old building. The main hall was set up with long tables and chairs. We milled about, greeting people. We went upstairs to see the library. They had a display of old cameras. The book portion was small for a library. Then we went to the basement. There was historical stuff down there, too. Plus a big bathroom/changing room for each gender.

Back in the main hall, I found a seat. I talked to a few archaeologists, and then saw the CSM. She took the chair next to me so we chatted. Time dragged on. Trays of veggies, cheese and fruit were laid out. It was a bit early for lunch, but I had one plate. Chris had two: one of food and one of desserts.

After 2 hours, the meeting started. There were opening remarks. Then issues of the day were discussed. Hill Air Force Base, Tooele Army Depot, Utah National Guard and Dugway each gave a talk about what they were doing and how it might affect the Native Americans. The tribal elders weighed in and asked questions.

Mostly I kept my phone off, but checked it during breaks. I got multiple texts from Michelle. When the meeting was over, the MC talked about coming back for dinner and then tomorrow for either the petroglyph trip or the artistic line-up: dances, painting, beading, etc. I had already agreed to meet Michelle and her family at the glyphs. She also invited us to take some soaps provided by a native American business.

We went back to our hotel, following the GPS instructions. It took over 20 minutes because of traffic. I was going to dress for dinner, but Chris changed out of his suit and put on a polo shirt, so I did not change. We had a few minutes to check e-mail and such. Then we drove back to the Clubhouse for dinner, again parking on another street and walking back.

This time the main room was set up with round tables. We sat with some Dugway people and one tribal lady. Caterers brought everyone a salad and a honey bun. We watched a couple demonstrate native American dances and explain the parts of their outfits. The outfits did not seem to be constructed of items found in nature.

When the dancing was over, entrees were laid out on a table and tribal elders were invited to choose first, followed by younger tribal members, then military. Finally Chris and I went up. I got the vegetarian meal and Chris took the pork version. We had pear cactus juice to go with the meal. After the meal, they served crème brulee and mouse. I had the mousse, and Chris was too full.

Our table had a interesting discussion of what constitute cultural awareness. And it went on from there. The conversation continued after most people had gone. All the extra food was put into plastic boxes and left for whoever wanted it. I took some of each to give to Isodora who expressed an interest in the food provided by the native American caterer.

And Chris kept talking to the archaeologists. Finally I tore him away because we had to get the food refrigerated. So we walked back to the car, and drove to the hotel. It was cold enough that we left the food in the car. We went up to the room and spent some time on e-mail. Then Chris went to bed at 10:30 and I worked on my blog, then went to bed myself.

A little after I laid down, I heard a dog bark in the next room. And someone sushed it. Quiet. However, the bark came again. And they got more frequent. Long about midnight, out of frustration, I called the front desk about it. Several minutes later, someone knocked on their door. I didn't hear conversation, but after a bit, I heard barking outside. Eventually it all went quiet. Later I fell asleep.

A day for ironing

Wednesday

I woke up before 7:30. I don't remember hearing Reveille. I got up to start coffee morning and discovered Chris lying on the sofa, worn out from his workout with the Colonel. So as I got things started, Chris was getting ready for work. Sigh.

I did the special exercises, brushed and swished and oil-pulled. I sat with my PEMF mat for half an hour. Then I meditated and tapped for over an hour. I started a three-drop regimen of MMS.

I cleaned the bathrooms and started on the kitchen. Michelle rang the doorbell. She wanted to borrow the chapel key so she could practice the piano. I lent it to her and went back to washing dishes. Later CJ came by with two dozen eggs and I paid her.

When the kitchen was finished, I took a shower and then vacuumed. I set up my ironing board and iron. I went through my e-mail looking for something to listen to. I got out the fabric from over a week ago and started ironing.

At 3:30 I went to the gym with Michelle's plates from Easter. Diane and Tonja were there and Michelle came later. We walked the track for half an hour. Then Tonja and Diane left. Michelle helped me work out in the weight rooms. Then I went back to my car.

Having left my car doors unlocked , I discovered a pile of fabric in my passenger seat. Go Dugway! Actually, Tonja had dropped it off because she had washed it and it needed ironing, and I offered.

I went home, put on some interviews and ironed some more. Chris came home around 6:30 with a pizza. Then he took a phone call. I got one from Quensanta offering to cut my hair at 8:30. I stopped ironing to work on my blog.

At 8 I took my sprouts over to Michelle's house. She agreed to rinse them at the proper times while I am gone. We chatted a little, then I went to Quensanta's house. The dogs were not very welcoming! They scared the heck out of me. She had me sit on a chair and she put a cape on me. She asked me what I wanted but all I could say was 'whatever you think would look good'. She spritzed my hair and started cutting She also started chatting. After some time, I began to think she was making it take longer so she could keep talking. Which was mostly ok with me. But after an hour, I was thinking I should go home and pack. She finished up but we continued to talk. By the time I got home, it was 10pm.

Chris was on his laptop. We talked about tomorrow. I tried on a few pieces of clothing to find something nice that fits for the event. I also chose something for the hike to the petroglyphs. Then he went to bed. I stayed up to read a few last e-mails, then realized I hadn't any supplement doses left for tomorrow. So I made up a week's worth and went to bed.

The Neighborhood Meeting

Tuesday

I got up about 8. I washed up and got dressed, etc. I rinsed the sprouts, and emptied the dishwasher. I washed some dishes for breakfast. I called a neighbor for a hair appointment. I read e-mail. I submitted a public comment for Preventing Digital Discrimination.

I went cleaning. For two hours I worked on blinds, windows and window tracks in the living rooms. Jamie arrived around noon. We chatted, then I packed up my vacuum and went home for breakfast.

As I was putting together breakfast, I slurped a T of chlorophyl. And for some reason, it irritated a spot in my throat and I kept coughing to clear it. Chris came home and asked if I was ok. I used a spoon to scrape it, but it didn't help. Eating breakfast helped a little.

At 2 I went to Saronna's house to play music. We worked mostly on hymns, selecting two for Sunday. Then I went home to drop off my trombone. At 3:30 I met Tonja and Michelle at the gym. We walked around the track for half an hour or so. We sat and chatted a bit.

Then I went home and took a nap. I got up at 5:40 for a bite to eat. Chris came home and we went to the Community Club together for the neighborhood meeting at 6. It was nice to meet and talk about things. I gave Charity a pineapple plant. After the meeting I talked to Cecilia about the Townhall meeting coming up. I introduced her to a guy who wants to run a firearms class. I chatted with Revonna, too.

Finally we went home. I made and ate a salad. Then I heated tea and we watched two episodes of Have Gun Will Travel, and one of SG1 season 6. Then Chris went to bed and I stayed up to check e-mail.

The proof is not in the yeast

Monday

I got up at 8. I got ready for the day. Chris left the bread machine out, so I put in ingredients for a loaf. I tried to proof some yeast but it did not do well. I could smell the beef he had in the oven.

I sat down to read e-mail. I saw the postmaster had posted that someone left bags of stuff in his area. So I got dressed and ran down there. He must have moved it to the swap shop door. I peeked inside the bags to make sure they were not trash, then moved them inside the swap shop. At 10 I went to the second street house to clean. Chris called me at that moment so I had to add 5 minutes to my cleaning time. I worked on the windows in the back and in the front.

At 12:05 I went home for breakfast. I expected Chris to come home for lunch but he never did. I checked the bread machine and the loaf was small. I ate and read e-mail. The liquid around the beef boiled off so I turned the oven off. I took the meat out and put more water in. I made

some memes and sent one to Michelle. Then at 3:30 I went to the gym to meet Diane. We walked around the school block. Then I went to the second street house to do a few outside windows. Then I went next door to get Sophia and her math book.

I took her to my house and we cleaned my car including the trunk. I wiped and she vacuumed. Then we did math, or rather she did math. She had an assignment to finish. She spent the whole time on one problem. For that problem she had to draw a table and graph some points. But the numbers were large and her square of paper was in 8ths of an inch, if that big. She knew what to do so I didn't have to coach her. But wrestling to get the numbers in the table and on the graph was time-consuming.

At 6 I took her home. Jamie was cleaning next door so I stopped to talk to her for a few minutes. Then I went home. Chris was there, having supper. I ate some fruit and read e-mail. I worked on my blog. I put the meat away then made a salad and ate it.

I heated tea and we watched the last episode of SG1 season 5 and several episodes of Have Gun Will Travel. Chris soon went to bed and I stayed up to watch a film depicting the 'near' future. It was dystopic. Then I went to bed.

A private opening of the swap shop

Sunday

I got up between 8 and 8:30. I drank hydrogen water and took the first supplements. I brushed and swished, then checked e-mail. I watered the plants. I watched short video clips on making prepper stuff.

At 11:30 I started making breakfast. Chris took his shower. I ate while looking at e-mail and finished the last of the sunflower sprouts. Then I got dressed for church. I cut up my grapefruit peel. Then I grabbed the cheese squares and my trombone and went to the chapel.

When I got there, the fill-in pastor asked if I had a key. I said yes and walked up to unlock the door. We walked in and others followed. I unpacked my trombone and chatted with Jenni. Then Saronna arrived with her kids. One of her girls handed me keys they found outside. (They were for the fill-in pastor to let himself in).

When the service started, the pastor prayed, then Saronna and I played two hymns. The pastor gave his sermon from the book of John. Then she and I took suggestions and played two more hymns. Then we all stood around and talked for awhile. Michelle stayed talking to me for quite some time, like another hour.

Finally I took the leftover cheese squares home. I ate some of her cashew cake, then changed my clothes and shoes. I went to the swap shop to open it. But Tonja got there first. We helped the man carry in his items. Then we all had a nice chat. Michelle showed up with a few things. The man left. We talked for awhile then went walking around nearby blocks.

Finally we split up. I went home. I checked e-mail. Chris put the remaining ham hocks in the oven and I made a salad. I kept reading e-mail. Finally I worked on my blog post. Then I made tea and we watched two episodes of SG1. Afterward, he went to bed, and I stayed up to read.

'Tofu-ifying' is now a word

Saturday

I got up around 8, then got ready for the day. I replaced the water for things that are rooting. I rinsed the sunflower sprouts. I wrote two e-mails to tell Chris' staff about some ideas. I looked at e-mail and listened to some interviews.

At 11:15 I asked Chris for a coconut oil massage. He complied, then took a shower. Then I took my shower and got dressed. I made and ate breakfast. I got my stuff together for sewing class. Chris carried three sewing machines out to the car. Then we both drove to the chapel. He stopped on the way to pick up the mail.

I unlocked the door and he carried the machines in. Tonja was right behind him. He left and we started setting up. Before I set up the last machine, Sgt Richards came in with hers. Tonja helped her get it threaded and ready to go. I started writing the directions on the board. Jenni came next and then other kids arrived.

Saronna brought her kids. Three of them wanted to sew. I helped them choose their wedges. I helped Wilhelm sew his together. Tonja worked on making a sample bag. I helped the girls sew theirs. Isadora took hers home to finish, said she wasn't feeling well.

As students finished, I took their pics for posting to the album on Facebook. Tonja stayed late with me as I made extra circles. I was hoping the kids would make extra as practice, but none of them did. Tonja helped me clean up all the leftover wedges. Sadly they were not well cut, but for $1 at the thrift shop, they were good enough. Tonja took home the box of fabric that Sgt Richards donated.

When I got home, Chris brought in the machines. I finished listening to something, then made cheese squares. I used some chopped up onion stalk from the flowerbed. While they baked, I rinsed the sunflower seeds over and over. They are nutty and crunchy, but the clinging bits of seed husk are a little bitter. I ate bunch of the sprouts.

I watched videos of a lady tofu-ifying different kinds of seeds and beans. Pumpkin sees worked well, raw peanuts not so well. Then I worked on Telegram messages, then moved to working on my blog. I made tea and we watched episodes of SG!. Then we made the bed with clean sheets. Chris retired for the night and I stayed up to read.

Too much back and forth

Friday

I got up at 8:30, and got ready for the day. I mended two pairs of pants, one belonging to the colonel. Two pair of Chris' I deemed unfixable - a waste of good patching fabric.

I texted Jamie, then went to the second street house. She called and we talked. I sent her the man's number for a yard quote. I cleaned in the kitchen and the next few rooms. I cleaned for 1:25m, then went to start laundry at company house. No one was there.

I went home for breakfast, and listened to Tucker Carlson. I added to the grocery list. Chris prepped the cooler and we went to Tooele. We shopped at the usual places and came back. Then we stopped at the commissary and at the post office.

We unloaded the food, then I went to the company house to move the sheets to the dryer and somebody already had. However the sheets weren't completely dry because they were all tangled together. I pulled out the ones that were dry enough and re-ran the others. I put the towels in the washer. I made the bed with the dry sheets and the extra set. After half an hour, I went to the second street house. I spent an hour doing walls and windows and scrubbing the baseboards.

I went back to the company house and waited for the towels to finish (why did it take longer than usual?) and put them in the dryer. I went home for supper. Chris had heated pork hocks. I also ate potatoes and sunflower sprouts. I ate some of the cashew cake from Michelle.

After 75 minutes, I went back to the company house. The towels were not dry. Sigh. I went home to finish an interview and work on my blog. Then I headed back to the house to fold or hang towels. Still no one there. Finally I went to Michelle's house for game night. I had a good time but needed a few hints. At 11, Casey filled my water container and I thanked them and went home. Chris was still up. So we shut everything down and went to bed.

The downside of a high-seed diet

Thursday

I got up at 8. I made up supplements and watered and fed the plants. I checked e-mail, watched a video on keeping teeth healthy. She recommended a low or no seed diet because of phytic acid. Yikes!

I cleaned at the second street house for 2 hours, scrubbing burner grills and walls and took a quote call. I started the self-clean cycle on the stove and went home for breakfast. Chris was home and handed me a box from the post office. I made breakfast and watched The Highwire. I ate some sunflower sprouts and posted the next sewing class to Facebook.

At 3:25 I called Jenni to ask if she wanted to walk. Then I sat down to read a book and fell asleep. She texted at 3:50 to meet at the gym. So I roused myself and drove down there. We walked around the track for half an hour or so. Then I went to the second street house to wipe out the stove since it was done self-cleaning.

That took about 15 minutes.

I drove to the quote appointment, arriving exactly at 5 and heard the trumpet playing. So I stood respectfully facing the speakers until it was over. The resident let me in and showed me around his house. It was pretty clean. I told him Jamie could quote him on the yard and bathrooms cause everything else was fine or easily manageable.

I went back to the second street house. I worked till after 6 on windows, blinds and walls. Then I went home. Chris was already there with his weekly pizza. I made supper and listened to Mike Adams interview Sayer Ji.

I worked on my blog and made tea. We watched two episodes of SG1. Chris checked his e-mail and went to bed. I stayed up till 11 catching up on the latest links.

Darien Gap

Wednesday

I got up at 7:35. I checked e-mail to see if I had a message from CJ. I checked my phone for the same thing. I deleted a bunch of e-mail. I had to throw out a set of sprouts that died. Very sad. Then I got ready for coffee morning. I had to blow bits of plastic out of the grounds first. Everything else went pretty well.

I started the MMS protocol with 4 drops at 11:30. I cleaned the bathrooms and kitchen. I washed dishes. Chris came home for lunch with a package from the post office. It was from Swanson's but did not contain the sprouting caps I ordered. I showered, I vacuumed. I made more seed cracker mix.

I got a headache so I cut back to two drops. Still no message from CJ about eggs. I reviewed options for making shoelaces. I liked the serger method, but the sewing machine method used a lot less thread - and we have multiples of them.

At 3:30 I went to gym to meet Diane and Tonja and Michelle. We walked and Michelle told us about her interview this morning which went really well. Michelle stayed after the walk to help me lift weights. Then we went to her house and she put tea tree oil on the itchy spot on my head. I stayed to talk.

When I got home, after 6, Chris was home. No mass tonight. I could hear the wind howling. I was still feeling off from the MMS so I didn't finish the protocol. I read e-mail and listened to an interview from a UN funded mass migration camp in Panama.

I worked on my blog and made tea. We watched two episodes of SG1. Not long after, Chris went to bed. I stayed up to read and finish watching the interview.

Second day of cleaning

Tuesday

I got up at 7:30, having slept surprisingly well. Was is because of the grounding cord I randomly used last night?

I got ready for the day. Then read e-mail and finished a Mike Adams interview with a guy who sells compost tea.

At 10 I went to the second street house to clean. I scrubbed the stove and parts of the fridge for 2 hours. I found the lost key - it was in the bottom of my cleaning bucket.

Then I went home. I made breakfast. Chris came home about 1 for lunch. I read e-mail and watched short videos.

At 2 I took my trombone and went to Saronna's house. I brought a book of songs from Jesus Christ Superstar. She hadn't seen the movie or heard the songs. But we tried a few. Most had a base line too low for the string bass.

Afterward, I walked next door to drop off a full bottle of hydrogen peroxide. Then I went home. I got a call from a man who wants to drop off stuff for the swap shop. We settled on 3:30 on Sunday. I ate a piece of the cashew cake from Michelle. I sprinkled some cocoa powder on it. MMMM

At 3:30, I went to the school. I met Diane, Jenni and Tonja for walking. Tonja had one of her cats in a stroller. We walked around the school block. I brought a bag for picking up trash. When we got back to the starting point, the ladies split up.

I went back to the house to clean. I finished the fridge and cleaned behind it so I could shove it back in place. Then I finished the oven so I could shove it back in place as well. I worked on the cupboards until 6.

I went home. Chris was having his supper. I made mine. Herberth called and we both said hello. I read e-mail and watched some videos. Then I made tea and we watched SG1. We snuggled on the couch and it turned into something else. That meant the evening routine went sideways: the sprouts didn't get rinsed, and the phone didn't get turned off. I did manage to switch off wi-fi and take melatonin.

First day of cleaning

Monday

I got up before 8. It took awhile because my back hurt from lifting one of the boxes. Then I got ready for the day. Putting on a shirt was easy, but putting on pants was trickier. I could not manage socks, but I got some footies and slip-on shoes. I watered the plants.

I sat against the PEMF mat and finished reading my book. It was after 10. I decided to go check out the house I signed to clean. I grabbed the key from the envelop, and took some cleaners out to the car. I had trouble getting in the front seat. I had to pick up my right leg and lift it in.

My first stop was the post office. I turned in the yellow slip for a package, then told the postmaster about the ants. He said he would report it and have the place treated. Then I went to the library to return the book and season 4 DVD. I also checked out the next book and got season 6.

Then I went to the house on second street, which is right next to Saronna. I saw her husband out raking so I walked over to talk to him. Saronna came out too. After speaking to them, I went to open the house and could not remember what I did with the key. Fortunately (or not), the front door was unlocked. So I went in and walked around the house and the back yard, assessing the condition. Then I started cleaning the refrigerator.

I took all the shelves and drawers out. I could not get the glass out of the shelves, so I ran hot water in the tub to soak them. I put ammonia water in the sink to soak the gas burner grates.

I went home for breakfast. I read e-mail and finished some videos I had started yesterday. At 3:30 I went to the school to meet Michelle for walking. She helped me search my car for the key, but with no luck. We walked around the school block. Then Jenni showed up. We talked to her for awhile.

Then I went to pick up Sophia and took her back to my house. We sat at the dining room table and did chapter 11 math for awhile. Then she helped me moved the big box in the hallway to the garage. We rearranged cleaners on the shelves. She put fabric in the washer and helped fill a big box with all the bags of donated yarn and fabric. Then I took her home.

I read e-mail until 7:30. Then I made a salad for supper and worked on my blog. I made tea and we watched two episodes of SG1. Then Chris went to bed and I stayed up past 11 listening to a podcast.

Nice weather

Saturday

I got up at 8:30, glad the company house was finished and I didn't have to go back. I got ready for the day and watered the plants. I uncovered the microgreens and moved them to a window sill because they were large enough.

Chris gave me a coconut oil massage, then took his shower. I took mine, then made and ate breakfast. I read e-mail for a bit.

I went through the donated fabric and pulled some pieces. I texted Tonja, and she came over to see the fabric. We talked. We tried the electronic sewing machine again. It made a nice left-hand stitch, but rarely responded to finger pushes to change the stitch.

We went for a walk and picked up trash. Later she went home. I read a little more e-mail, then put on my wire-wrapped headband and raked gopher mounds outside in the sun. I removed the gopher trap and stirred up the compost pile. It was amazing to think that the weather was so cold and snowy on Monday and Tuesday that we had to close the base. And now I am doing yardwork in a t-shirt.

I watched a bunch of hydroponic videos. Many of them used a hole saw to make a line of holes in a piece of covered rain gutter. They filled the gutter with liquid fertilizer and put the plants in the holes.

I had some beef and mushrooms over quinoa for supper, and then made a salad. I worked on my blog. We watched two episodes of SG1. Then we made up the bed with clean sheets. He went to bed and I stayed up reading articles and then putting some sunflower seeds in a dish to soak.

What was the coin for?

Friday

I got up around 8:15, got ready for the day. I read Telegram messages: one guy showed how to construct a voltage generator with a series of magnet-copper-paper-zinc-magnet stacks. A stack the size of a cigarette produced 25 volts.

At 11, I went to the company house to get the laundry started. There was personal laundry in the dryer. I went home and listened to an interview on women's problems, then made and ate breakfast. At 12:45 I went back to the company house with laundry baskets. I emptied the dryer and moved the sheets over, then put the towels in the washer.

I went home and finished breakfast. I made a grocery list. I finished listening to Jordan Peterson interview Mike Lee (Utah senator) about the war in Ukraine.

Chris came back from the office and we stopped at the post office, then went to Tooele. We shopped at the usual places and I got some potted flowers for the ladies. Then we headed back. We stopped at the commissary for a few things, and went home.

I rested a little while, then went back to the company house to finish up. There were two men watching TV. I told them I was there to clean and to let me know if they needed anything. They left and I made the beds and cleaned the bathrooms and mopped the floors.

When I got home, Chris had made me beef and mushrooms. The colonel had stuff for the swap shop so Chris told him to come over. I made and ate a salad while I read e-mail, and listened to This Week with Mary and Polly. I paused it when the colonel arrived. Chris helped him bring in bags of fabric and really thick yarn. Then Chris opened the garage and all the rest of his stuff went in there. Silly me, I thought we were all going to the swap shop.

When he left, we went back inside. Michelle had texted me to come over for Game Night. So I gathered my empty water container and tea and went over. Her mother was visiting, so we chatted a bit. Then I played and solved 4 games over the course of the night. After the third game, a coin unexpectedly showed up on the “You Win” screen. But I clicked 'next game' too fast and missed whatever text went with it.

Anyway, at 11, I got ready to go. Michelle wanted to talk, but I picked up the full water container and edged my way to the door. We did chat a little, then I put the water in my car and went home.

Chris was still up. I was going to go to bed, but remembered that I hadn't done my blog. He went to bed while I typed furiously. Then I retired too.

** I don't remember learning this in history class. At least the gov't had to pay for the gold that was turned in. Hope it doesn't happen again. **

Signing early for a house

Thursday

I got up at 8, having slept fairly well. I got ready for the day. I changed the water in the rootings. I sat down to read e-mail. I learned that putting lemon oil in hot tea is good for detox, and myrrh oil is for detoxing liver and excess estrogen. Another interview mentioned Longitudinal interferometry (whatever that is). He said seeds will germinate better if the electrical field is centripetal. Therify.net

I put the fabric from the thrift store in the washer. I filled out a cleaning contract, and wrote a check to church. I made breakfast, and put on The Highwire. After Chris left, I set up the ironing board and ironed as I listened.

When finished, I took the cleaning contract to the house on second street. I parked next door in Saronna's driveway because the moving truck was in the way. The Housing people weren't there yet. So I chatted with the resident and her mother. When the ladies arrived, we chatted with them. Then we signed the cleaning contract and postdated it for Saturday.

I put the money and keys in an envelop. We chatted a bit more, then I went home. I wasn't home for long. In 10 minutes, I had to leave for the gym. I signed up for the trip to the hot springs later this month. Then I walked the track with Diane. And we chatted. Afterward, I went home.

It was too nice a day to stay inside, so I got a plastic bag and went walking around picking up trash. Finally I found myself at the swap shop. I walked in with Jeff, Tonja's husband. I noticed lots of new stuff. I mentioned a freezer that was outside our neighbor's house, so Jeff drove us over there. He looked at it, but said the hinges were bent and it was not worthy of the swap shop. So I thanked him for bringing me home. He went back to the swap shop.

I resumed listening to The Highwire's interview with Neal Degrasse Tyson. Chris came home from work with a pizza. He told me he wants me to attend a tribal gathering in two weeks. Actually he wants me to attend a two-day event that the garrison is hosting this year. Sigh.

I finished that interview and listened to shorter audios while piecing puzzles. I heated some beef and rice for supper and ate some salad fixings. Then I worked on my blog.

I made tea and we watched two episodes of SG-1. Later he went to bed, and then I got ready, did my stretches, and hit the hay.

Quest for the Cures

Wednesday

I vaguely remembered Chris taking his shower. I got up at 7:30 and the tub was wet. I must have slept well because my back hurt from staying in the same position for too long. But it worked out as I got ready for the day.

I made coffee and did special exercises to promote lymph movement. I meditated and tapped for some time, with the CD music in the background. Then I cleaned the bathrooms and started on the kitchen. I put vinegar in the coffee pot to get the coating of minerals out. I washed out the sprout containers and started another batch.

Chris came home for lunch. He said he needed to go move some stuff from the colonel's house to the curb for bulk pick-up tomorrow. He invited me to go along and see if any of it was suitable for the swap shop. So after I took the 12:30 dose of MMS, we went. However, the colonel's wife was home and said she would put it out tonight. We chatted with her for a bit, offering help with anything she needed, then Chris dropped me off at home. I finished vacuuming and read e-mail. Then I took a shower. I went walking at the gym with Michelle and Tonja. Michelle was quite upset about not finding a job. After the walk, she instructed me on working with weights. We chatted the whole time.

It was after 5:30 when I got home. Chris was there, but then left for the chapel. I watched an episode of Quest for the Cures: juice veggies, throw out the pulp and blend in fruits (because fruits have soluble fiber).

Chris came home from chapel. He made his supper. I started listening to the next episode of Quest for the Cures. Then I posted to my blog and made tea. We watched two episodes of SG-1. He went to bed. I finally watered all the plants and made up a week's worth of supplements.

Second day of telework

Tuesday

I got up before 8. Chris had already gone to the office. There was another layer of snow outside. I got ready for the day. While listening to an interview, I wrapped a headband with copper wire. I watched a video on making tofu from pumpkin seeds.

Chris came home early for a short lunch. I kept reading. I looked up prices online to compare the price of making seed crackers vs price of making cheese squares. Seed crackers are cheaper. I made and ate breakfast.

At two I got dressed, and took my trombone to Saronna's house. Her whole family was there because it was spring break and her husband was off of work. I chatted with her and her husband. Then she and I played a mix of songs. We talked until it was time to walk. He lent me his season 5 of SG1.

I met Diane at the gym. The doors were locked, so we walked outside. It was cold but not windy so it was a nice walk. When we got back to the gym, she left and Tonja called me. She and Jamie were picking up some bulk trash that was actually good enough for the swap shop. (Bulk trash pick-up was rescheduled from Monday to Thursday).

When I got home, I listened to whatever was next. Chris came home for supper. I made a salad and ate it with the last of the batch of sprouts.. Later I had some cheese squares with bacon. MMMMM. I worked on my blog.

After posting, I took the chillow over to Saronna's house so her husband could use it. I threw in some lidocaine patches as well. We chatted a bit, then I went home. I heated tea and we watched two episodes of SG1. Not too long after that, Chris went to bed. I stayed up a little later.

I looked up the Chinese organ chart and found out that 11pm to 1am is the gallbladder time and 1am to 3am in the liver time. So I took some liver and gall bladder supplements before I went to bed, thinking it would help me sleep better during that time. But if felt like the capsules were stuck in my throat. And no matter how many times I swallowed, even with water and then kombucha, the feeling would not go away. I did some tapping and waited it out.

Max telework

Monday

When I got up, I saw that it had snowed. Although the base was closed and everyone was on max telework, Chris went to the office, where he was very productive owing to the absence of people clamoring for his attention. I got ready for the day, then read e-mail. And then it snowed again.

Chris came home for a quick lunch. I continued to read e-mail and forgot about the time until sometime after noon. I made and ate breakfast. Michelle texted me the number of a lady on post who can cut hair. I jotted some notes for my blog. I cut up peels for the compost.

After reading more articles, I made a self-watering microgreens container. I put some seeds in dish of water to soak. I sewed 8 pie-shaped wedges from the thrift shop into a circle. It did not turn out well so I think they were not cut accurately.

I read e-mail and listened to interviews for the rest of the afternoon. Snow continued so we did not walk at the gym. 'I downloaded all my pics for the last several days and cropped them. 'I wrote a letter to my senator about the RESTRICT act. Michelle said she and Saronna did not come to church yesterday because they weren't feeling well.

Chris came home from work. He cooked mushrooms for me. I made a salad. Later I posted to my blog, then heated tea. I practiced a little, then we watched the last two episodes of Season 4. Sadly, the base will remain closed again tomorrow so no library and no season 5 :(

Chris went to bed. I stayed up to read, then put the soaking seeds in the microgreens container, and went to bed.

Back in the game again

Sunday

Chris woke me up at 8. I lazed in bed for a bit before getting up. After the usual stuff, and replacing some breakfast mixes, I washed a few bowls and set them to dry. I mixed up a batch of cheese squares and popped it in the oven. I listened to more of an interview while looking for a source of sonic gopher stakes that will sell a huge amount at a discount. Then I pulled the cheese out. I cut off some of the crusty edge and tasted it. Chris tasted some as well. I was not impressed by the batch, and went back to reading e-mail.

I made breakfast a little early. Chris took his shower and got dressed. Then I washed up and put on my dress that looks like palm fronds. I packed the cheese squares in a container and headed out to the car. Chris brought my trombone.

We arrived just after the minister and his assistant did. It was the youngest of the three, and his assistant who plays guitar. We followed them in. I put the snack on the back table and went up front to assemble my trombone. Chris chatted with them, then Diane arrived with her son.

The service started with singing from lyric sheets. Jenni arrived with her husband. Then we had communion, and then the sermon. Afterward, I played two hymns on my trombone. I invited the guitar player to play along, but he said he couldn't read music. Then we all talked and had snack and went home.

Chris and I changed clothes. I seeded a papaya and ate it. I read e-mail until 4. Chris had an online meeting to discuss the weather tomorrow and concluded that they wou9ld just close the base for the day.

Then I connected with Terri on Zoom. We were expecting Jenni but she didn't sign in. Then we tried connecting through Google. We chatted until after 5, then hing up. There was no sign of the evening game, so I called Jenni to see if she wanted to go for a walk, and she said yes, so I agreed to drive over there.

However, just then Chris said the game was on. Sigh. So I logged in to Discord and told the team I would be half an hour late and to start without me, but they decided to wait. I drove over to Jenni's house and we walked around the school block. The temp was reasonable, but the whipping wind made it feel cold. I picked up trash as we walked. When we were almost done, Jamie pulled up and talked excitedly about her new hearing aids. Jenni joined in. I really didn't have anything to offer on that subject. So after a bit, I excused myself to go home and back to the game.

When I got home, Chris was pulling slow-roasted bacon out of the oven. I ate some with cheese squares while chatting with the team. It was John's birthday so I sent him birthday wishes. Then we played for two hours, going back to the prison and searching the few unsearched rooms left. We got attacked several times, but easily bested everything thrown at us. And then the game was called for time.

I worked on my blog and made tea. We watched two episodes of SG-1. I was falling asleep, so I went to bed. Chris laid down by the time I finished my stretches. I think I fell asleep a little sooner than usual.
