Music and ink

Monday

I got up before 8. I brushed my teeth, etc. I took 4 lunge steps. I played trombone for a bit and did the F scale in really long notes. I made more fiber gel. I took supplements. I made a list of arm exercises from the video. I called up a video and peeled eggs while listening. I ordered some tests. I watched a tapping video and finished some others that were started. I worked on advertising band. I sent the photo I wanted to Michelle to see if she could get rid of the sunspot. She was subbing so couldn't do it right away. Therefore I used a meme instead and posted to all three Facebook pages.

I worked out how many yards Jamie would need to buy for her dress and sent her the figures. I worked on choosing hymns. Not as easy as you might think. I made a week's worth of supplements, I made and ate breakfast. I read more articles and such.

I went back to choosing hymns. I decided to fix up I Will Call Upon the Lord so that Saronna could play the antiphonal part. It took a long time. Then I printed out the two pages. However, the printer ran out of ink after ¾ of the first page. So I loaded them onto a thumb drive and went to the library to print them off. I chatted with Melissa and Mindy. Then Michele walked in. She headed straight to the puzzle table. I let her use my phone to text John who was supposed to be there. She invited me to join in, but I had only 30 minutes till band.

I went home. Chris came home to prepare his supper. I got my music ready. I looked at ink cartridges online. I went to the chapel. While I turned on the lights, Keli arrived. We played through the hymns. Then Janet came with Leiliani. So we played the hymns again, then turned to the Broadway book. We had just finished when Jenni arrived, so we did one more song. And Keli wanted to do When the Saints, so we did that too.

We ended practice there. Jenni stayed behind to chat. Then we shut off the lights and locked the door and went home. When I arrived, Chris put supper in the toaster oven for me. I finished up my ink order. I ate supper and worked on my blog. I made tea and we watched TV: one episode of Hamish McBeth. Chris went to bed soon after. I stayed up to listen to Day 1 of the Tapping World Summit. I also listened to one of the meditations and then went to bed.

Black pudding and hairy monsters

Sunday

We got up just before 8, thinking it was later. I brushed my teeth, then went to the kitchen to prepare for the day. I made a batch of cheese squares. I followed a presentation on using a rolled up towel to release fascia. I watched one on butyrate. I ate the cheese crusts. Then I made and ate breakfast and got dressed for church.

I took lots of cheese squares to church. I told Popken that Saronna was ill and we should pray for her. I assembled my trombone and put the music on the stand. Anca talked to me about giving her daughter flute lessons. Then the service started. We sang praise music. The chaplain gave a sermon on the roles of men and women. Then Keli and I went up to play hymns. I was surprised to see Sophia join us since Saronna wasn't there. We played our two hymns, the chaplain said a few words and the service was over.

I talked to people, then took the remaining squares home. I changed clothes and read e-mail. Around 4:30 I took the cheese squares to Saronna and stayed to talk a bit. When I got home, it was time for the family game. Chris had my supper heated in a bowl. I ate while chatting, then we played.

We were on a quest to find a lady's grandson. We traced him to his dance class and out to the gazebo where we discovered an undergound system of rooms and tunnels. We fought black pudding. And some hairy monsters. And finally a succubus. Then we found the boy fastened to an altar. I healed and fed him. And the game ended.

After the game, we talked with Michele about her job security. She is very worried. I worked on my blog. Chris said it was too late to watch TV. So I steamed 7 eggs. I left a bag on the door with empty egg cartons and $20 for the egg lady. I read a book in the recliner, but could not get comfortable because of my left leg. So I took the homeopathic restless leg tablet and went to bed.

The hike

Saturday

We got up late. I made the usual fiber gel. I read some e-mail and messages, then got dressed for hiking. I packed almonds and water. Jack picked me up at 10. We went to Five Mile. We climbed the 10K trail but didn't go all the way. When we got to the top, we sat on rocks and ate our snack and admired the view. He is a wealth of knowledge on geology. Then we retraced our steps back to his truck.

He brought me home at 12:30. I watered the plants, then made and ate breakfast. I helped Chris with taxes by naming our donations to charity and each of my cleaning jobs.

I went to clean Keli's RV at 3 and finished at 4:30. I was so tired. I sat for a moment to check e-mail. Chris put beef in the toaster oven for me. Then we went to the Primo machine at the post office to fill two 5 gallon jugs.

When we got back, I ate supper. I read e-mail and messages and made tea. I posted to my blog. We watched one episode of Hamish McBeth. We read on our laptops. At 11, I started my bedtime routine. Chris came back to help me dress the bed. Then we turned in for the night. I didn't think I would be able to sleep because my legs hurt, but I did sleep, about the same as usual.

Dental checkups

Friday

I got up around 8. Math Morning was canceled due to the usual attendees having said they weren't coming. I got ready for the day. I called the accordion shop in SLC. He told me that they charge $80 to inspect the accordion and do any small repairs that fit into that hour. Also, I ordered more glasses – for mid-distance and for reading.

I walked to the swap shop to talk to Summer about what issues the fire department had when they inspected. When I got home, I ate fiber gel, then made and ate breakfast. We got ready for our trip, stopped at post office, then went to Tooele for dental appointments.

Chris got his cleaning which took a long time. I got called in later than he did. X-rays were taken and the dentist did his exam. Then he went to inspect Chris while I got my teeth cleaned. But there wasn't much to do. Then we checked out.

We shopped at Luckey's, Melanie's and Macey's. We went back to base and shopped at the commissary. We went home and upacked the groceries. Jack texted me about the county extension agent AND wanted to know if I could hike with him tomorrow.

I read e-mail, then went to open swap shop. When she arrived, we chatted. Then I locked the door and left her there. I went home. I made and ate supper. I listened to news and pieced puzzles. I worked on my blog. I made tea and put in the usual amendments.

I took the tea and went to Game Night at Michelle's house. Of course she wasn't there. Casey had the game up. Cedric was playing with a friend and Isadora was in the livingroom. As I played, she showed me pics of clay figures she had made. Then she showed me artistic pics she had taken. And then she went to bed.

I continued to play Indiana Jones. Cedric helped. I finally figured out what Indy was supposed to do with the mask and he got the sunstone. Then we went to Algiers to figure out how to get something to trade the grocer to get a squab to give to the beggar who then gave us a balloon ride ticket. Once aloft, it was hard to control the balloon. We landed several places inadvertently until we found the dig site. Sophia promptly fell in a hole. Indy had to feel his way through the dark to find a generator, hose and empty clay jug. He siphoned gas from an abandoned truck and got the generator running.

At 11 I shut it down and thanked Casey. I went home. Chris was still up, but we went to bed pretty promptly. Although I almost fell asleep, I became aware that my stomach wasn't digesting something well. When RLS kicked in, I got up. I took some charcoal tablets and a homeopathic tablet labeled for RLS. No more RLS and eventually the charcoal helped and I went to sleep.

Community Game Night

Thursday

I got up after 7:30. I got the fiber gel ready. I took supplements and checked e-mail. I made up more breakfast mix. Then I went to Bible Study, which was an hour later than usual. At 9:32, I sent a group text asking if anyone was coming. I checked the carpet to see if I got all the wax out. Then Anca arrived with two of her kids. Ginger came and finally Karen. We talked for some time and then read through two chapters of Mark.

When I got home, I read e-mail and Telegram messages. I taped a return label to a box and put the new glasses inside. I walked to the post office to mail the glasses back. I got in a long conversation with the clerk.

I broke away at 11:55 and walked home quickly. I made breakfast and ate while watching The High Wire. First they talked about autism and then they interviewed a biological dentist.

Jamie came by at 2. She wanted me to copy the dress she was wearing. And make it out of non-Christmas fabric. She changed out of it and we talked for some time. After she left, I measured the skirt – which was a circle, and jotted some notes about amount of fabric needed.

I unlocked the chapel before 4. I went home and practiced my trombone for a couple minutes. I also took 4 lunge steps. Chris came home from work. He was planning on going to the community Game Night and getting a pizza. I didn't want to go, but I figured I should.

We went to the club, arriving before 6. The colonel's family was there and they were discussing which game to play. I had brought Scrabble. Michele and John came with some games. I was fine playing with them, but figured I should play with people outside my family on community Game Night. John replied “Repeat after me – I am the garrison manager's wife. I can do whatever I want.” I wished he hadn't said it out loud. And anyway, its just the opposite. As the wife of a leader, I have to do what's best for the community.

So while Chris played a Star Trek card game with John and Michele, I played Jumanji with Karen, Noelle and Shannon. Then Karen got called to go get Saronna's kids because she had been taken to the hospital. So Erynne took her place.

After Jumanji, we played Scrabble but did not keep score. We played until every letter was on the board. Shaun stopped by to ask if I could clean his bedroom apartment for him. He was under the impression that on Monday he could just drop the keys off with me and move out. Shannon and I explained that there is a long checkout procedure and Housing has to sign off on it.

We went home. I put beef in the toaster oven, then worked on my blog. I made tea. I ate while we watched one episode of Hamish McBeth. I understood very little of the conversation because of their accents. Afterward, Michelle started texting me. Chris was on his laptop for a bit, then went to bed. Then I jotted notes for tomorrow and read.

Doom Patrol

Wednesday

I got up before 8. I prepared for meditation morning. I did the special exercises. I made up bottles of detox supplements. I read for half an hour. I meditated and tapped. I cleaned the bathrooms. I washed dishes and cleaned the kitchen. I vacuumed. I made impressions on a piece of styrofoam to hold capsules.

I watched Day 3 of a tapping course. I took a shower and got dressed. I read online. I watered the plants.

I went to the clinic to pick up Michele. I read a book til she came out. I drove her home and read while she completed her phone call. Then we went to my house. She helped me go through all the towels and sheets on the bed to see which I should keep, donate or save for a project.

Chris came home and made supper for him and her. We all got into a discussion covering several non-current topics . I left them to work on my blog. He had had some alcohol, so I drove her home. When I got back, we watched an episode of some superhero series, but it was really hokey. Doom Patrol. We decided we didn't need to see any more of it. Chris went to bed, but I stayed up to read a bit, then headed to bed myself.

Quoting for our next cleaning job

Tuesday

I got up after 7:30. I got ready for the day. I took 5g of vit C, but had no result. I read e-mail and Telegram messages. I watched online vidoes. I practiced my trombone and did some lunges.

I had a few bites of beef, then took 7g of vit C. No effect. I worked on my slide with water and oil to get it to move smoothly. I drank half of the fiber. I made and ate breakfast. I looked up accordion repair shops. I found one and it was in SLC. It was already closed for the day.

I went to the library to print off copies for rhythm class. But I ran out of time so I left my thumb drive there. I went to play with Saronna. We also chatted a lot. She gave me a keyboard for the swap shop.

Afterward, I went back to the library to get the last set of copies and my drive. Then I went to the swap shop to drop off the keyboard. When I got home, I took 10g vit C – and still nothing.

I read e-mail. I put a quart of whey on the compost pile. I logged into Zoom for the quilt guild meeting. Their program was to make quilted cards. So while they were doing that, those of us tuning in online went into a breakout room. We had a nice chat.

When we were brought back into the regular room, they were wrapping up the cards and starting show and tell. I heated beef in toaster oven. At 6:25 I shut it off and left the Zoom call. I went to a dorm room and talked to the occupant. After I looked around, I quoted him $450.

I went home and ate the beef. I got on another Zoom call, this one for tapping. During that, Michele called to ask me to pick her up from work tomorrow and take her home. I guess John won't be around? Then I went back to the Zoom call.

The call was over when Chris came home at 830. I worked on my blog. We watched one episode of Brokenwood. He went to bed. I stayed up to read by the red therapy lamp. RLS struck and nothing I did helped. Finally I rubbed magnesium on my legs, drank some tonic water and went to bed. It took awhile to fall asleep.

Climbing granite mountain

Monday

I got up at 8, I got ready for the day. I read some e-mail, then looked at hymns. I scanned two, cleaned up the copies, then printed them out. I made breakfast 2 hours early. Still, before I was done, Chris said it was time to go.

I put on jeans and a coat. I filled a water bottle. We got in the car and went to Michele's house. I thought they were both coming, but only Michele got in the car. Then we went out on the range to Granite Mountain. Michele wanted to find ancient shells. So we climbed and looked, but did not find any. She enjoyed asking her father to identify rocks and plants. I found a stone that looks like a giant thumb.

Then we drove by the testing tunnel. We also went to Camelback mountain, but didn't find much there either. So we headed back to English Village. We stopped at the commissary to get light bulbs for John. Then we took Michele home. Chris hooked up the washer and dryer with the new hoses. Not everything went according to plan. The appliances were larger than the planned space so we had to turn them wonky to be able to shut the doors.

Chris and I came home. I read e-mail and checked messages. The extension agent said he could come out on the Friday after Earth Day. I passed that info along. I looked for pics of worms from 2019. They seemed to be gone from my laptop and desktop. However, I found them in an e-mail I had sent to my brother. I watched an presentation on tapping. There was no actual tapping however. Then I finished watching a movie on homeopathic medicine.

I heated some beef in the toaster oven and ate it. Chris baked mushrooms. I jotted notes for my blog. Before 6, I went to the chapel. I got out the iron and a long extension cord. Saronna arrived and set her bass. Then the others arrived. So I put together my trombone and we played through the hymns, then Lord of the Dance, then Broadway tunes. We also tried When the Saints go Marching In, but didn't have a proper piano part.

I dismissed them at 8. As Saronna was packing up, I heated up an iron and used it to get wax off the carpet. Saronna was impressed with how well it worked. The paper towel soaked it right up. They left and I finished. I put everything away, and locked the chapel and went home.

I worked on my blog. I made tea. We watched an episode of Brokenwood. Chris went to bed. I stayed up a little later, but went to bed before 11.

Haircuts on base

Sunday

I got up about 8. I brushed and swabbed and rinsed and gargled. I went to the kitchen to make the fiber gel. But there was already some left in the fridge. Chris filled a casserole dish with beef and put it in the oven at 250. I whipped up a batch of cheese squares. As I cracked the eggs in, one of them didn't pierce the membrane but the shell came off. So I was able to peel about half before the membrane broke.

I turned the oven up to 350, then baked them for 20 minutes, then turned it back down. While they baked, and for some time afterward, I parsed supplements for the next 8 days. I read some e-mail, then drank from the fiber gel. I read some messages, then made and ate breakfast. I got dressed for church and put some of the cheese squares in a container.

Thankfully I had taken my trombone to church for Project Night and left it there. So I only had to take the snack to the chapel. I went up front to assemble the instrument. I talked to several people, and then we sang 3 praise songs. One I didn't know and the other two I had heard before (but wished I had heard more recently).

The chaplain started the service. He talked about how God created male and female. Afterward, the band played two hymns. He said a closing prayer. Then I reminded the band of Monday practice. I talked to Randy about the amp. Then Janet handed me the empty cheese square container. Its never been emptied on a Sunday morning before. After people left, the chaplain talked to me about Michelle. Then we made sure all the lights were off and we went home.

When I got home, I thought there would be time before my hair appt at 3. But no, it was 3 already. I threw a few more squares in the container and went to Michelle's house. She wasn't there, but the hairdresser was. She was cutting Cedric's hair. I gave Isadora the cheese squares to give to her mother tomorrow. Then I chatted with everyone until it was my turn to get my hair cut. Near the end, Saronna arrived with Sophia. When I was done, I paid and added $5 because she came so far. Then Sophia sat on the stool. The hairdresser put some kind of cream in between rows of hair. I chatted with Saronna, then went home to ask Chris if he wanted a haircut. But he said no.

The beef was ready, so he put some in a bowl for me. The game was canceled, so I read e-mail and messages and watched pieces of video and pieced puzzles. I put together an order for more supplements, taking advantage of sales.

I worked on my blog. I watched an episode of TQS, then ate a salad. I made tea, ready to watch TV when I suddenly remembered that Jenni wanted me to water her plants today. I had already put on my nightgown, so I redressed, then went to her house to water Jenni's plants and refill the jugs. Some were pretty dry.

When I got back, we watched one episode of Brokenwood. I might have dozed off during the 90 minutes. So I went to bed. We both did. I almost fell asleep, but he got up and left the room. Then I got RLS, so I got up and took some zinc. It wasn't immediately effective, but eventually I went to sleep.

Worksheets for rhythm class

Saturday

I got up around 7:30ish. I got ready for the day. I checked e-mail and messages. I drank a quart of vitamin C water. I looked at the Indiana Jones game video to see if I had missed anything last night.

I read e-mail and listened to interviews. I asked Chris for a massage and he complied. He took his shower and I took mine. He went to help hook up the washer and dryer for Michele and John. Then he came back with Michele to get the swap shop key because she needed a broom. John went into town to game and to get some hoses for the washer (even though we all remember seeing the hoses at one time).

I made and ate breakfast, then read more e-mail. I traced some of the heart templates on the brown and pink fabrics. I took a bottle of kombucha and sewing supplies and went to chapel, where I set up for sewing class. The project was a felt heart cookie. Summer arrived with her two kids. They cut out some hearts and I threaded needles for them to add sprinkles to the cookies. Summer's kids finished and went home. Moira finished her cookie, then freehanded a hotdog. Then she walked home. But Wilhelm kept not concentrating and spent a good 45 minutes getting very little done. He did finish right at 4 and they went home.

I went home. I checked e-mail. I looked for worksheets for rhythm class. Finally I put them on a thumb drive to move them to the desktop that was connected to the printer. I printed some out, but had to go over the staff lines with a pencil. Finally, I had just enough time to eat some beef before heading to the chapel.

I set up for Project Night. I left my trombone and music where I normally sit for church. No one was there so I played the piano. Casey and Cedric came in. I talked to them. Michele came in. I followed her to the fellowship hall and helped her trace a blouse. The Luna's came, but no one else. I roamed the room, helping out where I could, and checking the sanctuary for rhythm students. But no one came. Casey brought his Atari and wanted to use the large screen TV but we could not find the remote.

Michele left first, and then Casey and Cedric. The Luna's stayed a little longer and we had a nice chat. Then we packed up. They helped me carry stuff to my car. And we said good night.

When I got home, Chris was on his laptop. I made tea and we watched one episode of Brokenwood. Restless Leg Syndrome kicked in while we were watching. Then Chris and I dressed the bed with clean sheets. He went to bed but I stayed up to work on my blog, wrapped up in a bulky coat to induce a hot flash.

Indiana Jones

Friday

I got up before 7:30, having woken early and not been able to go back to sleep. I brushed and swabbed. I made more sinus rinse. I went to the kitchen to make fiber gel, etc. I read some e-mail and got dressed.

I went to the chapel at 9. The sidewalk looked innocent but was actually covered in ice. I had to walk very gingerly. Isadora was already there with Electra. The Clarks were right behind me as I opened the door. We all went in. I turned on the lights and heat.

We sat down to do math. I watched over Wilhelm and Moira. Isadora was there to help, but no one sat by her. Then Karen came. She brought me some embroidery floss for the project tomorrow and I helped her factor trinomials. Things went well enough. Then at 10 we all packed up and went home.

Chris was still home although I had thought he was going to the office. I read e-mail. I posted to Facebook for the sewing class and Project Night. I ran more vinegar through the old coffee maker until it was back to normal. Then I ran water through it.

I drank some fiber gel and took the supplements that go with it. I watched the videos that my online practitioner sent of him going through my test results. I made notes and then sent him an e-mail at the end.

I made and ate breakfast. I added to the grocery list. Then we picked up Michele and went to the commissary. Afterward, we took her home. She was going to go to Tooele with us, but only needed one thing so we agreed to pick it up. We dropped off our groceries and headed out, listening to the book on CD.

It nearly put me to sleep, but of course Chris woke me up to change the disc when it ran out. We shopped at Luckeys. Then I shopped at Melanie's while Chris went to Cal Ranch. We also stopped at Harbor Freight for a dryer hose, but they didn't have one. Then we went back to base. As we went through the front gate, we passed John on his way to Tooele to game.

I went back to reading e-mail and Telegram messages. I looked up how to play a recorder. Seemed so simple, but it didn't work last time I tried. Chris made his supper, then I made mine: carrot salad followed by beef, followed by sweet potato dipped in chocolate.

I worked on my blog. I caught up my list of VMIS hours. I poured tea in a bottle and added glycine and the usual.

I put on my coat and headed to Michelle's house. She wasn't there of course, but Casey was. The kids were in bed. We talked for some time, and then he put up the game. While I played, he was tinkering with an old Atari. He got it running and added memory. Isadora woke up and came out for a bit to watch me play, but then she had to go back to bed to get up early in the morning.

I got stuck several times, but managed to figure something out. So, I was still making progress when the clock struck 11. Sigh. But I shut down the game and thanked him.

When I got home, Chris was still up. We talked a little bit, then shut everything down and went to bed.

Valentine's Dinner

Thursday

I got up at 7:30. I brushed, etc and went to the kitchen to get things started there. I turned on my phone and texted Michelle to see how the handing out of valentines' at the front gate went this morning. Seemed awfully cold to me but she said it was fine. She also said there were two bags of cards and chocolates left over and could I take them to the commissary for the baggers. So I said yes.

I drank vitamin C water while checking e-mail. Then I got dressed and went to the chapel for Bible Study. No one was there. I turned off a light that was left on from last night. I checked for mice. Karen arrived. We sat and talked. Anca and Ginger came. So then the four of us chatted for almost an hour. Then we read several chapters from Mark and chatted some more. Till I got home, 2 hours had passed.

I read e-mail and tried to catch up. At 11:40 I drank the fiber gel, then waited a bit to make breakfast. I ate while watching The Highwire. Then I watched clips of RFK Jr being sworn in as Secretary of HHS.

I picked up the mail (for Michele). I went to Michelle's house to pick up the bags of chocolate. Isadora came with me to deliver it to the commissary. Then I took her home and talked to Casey a bit. He didn't think he could do Math Morning because he had a doctor's appointment but Isadora said she could help. I stopped at the chapel to unlock it for Keli. When I got home, I composed a message to the county extension agent to help with the community garden. I got Kenzie's approval then hit SEND.

I went back to reading messages. Chris came home early because of the snow. He took us to the library to find more stuff to watch. We talked to Melissa while we were there. When we got home, I made heart-shaped templates. Then I traced, cut and sewed the felt valentine cookie that will be our next sewing project. I took a pic of it. I posted an announcement to Facebook for Math Morning. I worked on my blog.

At 7 I got dressed up. It took me several outfits to find one that fit and matched Chris' tie. Then we went to the Community Club for dinner. They had a Valentine special with reservations. We had one for 7:30, but there was no one to seat us. We stood in the hallway for some time, chatting with a group of firefighters and Karen and her husband, thinking someone would come out and seat us. Karen, who had already eaten, told us to go on in because that's what she had to do.

So finaly we walked in and asked a passing server who told us to sit wherever we wanted. We sat kind of near Michele and John. Their reservation was for 7 and their meal did not arrive until 7:50. I am not sure when we sat down, but our food was faster. First salads, and then the entree, and finally cheesecake. The food was ok. The lighting was too low, but halfway through they put on music, which was nice. It was better last year.

Michele came over to chat, then she and John paid and left. When we were done, Chris paid and I walked over to the commander's wife and we chatted. Then Chris and the Colonel joined in. We chatted so long that my feet went to sleep. I guess my shoes are tighter than they feel.

Finally we went home and changed clothes. I made tea and we watched a third episode of The Magicians, finishing that DVD. We were both tired, so we just turned everything off and went to bed.

Saying goodbye

Wednesday

I woke up after 7. I got up when the alarm rang. I brushed and swabbed, then went to the kitchen to prepare for coffee morning. Michelle had given me some green coffee so I tried that. I did the lymph exercises and read a book for 30 minutes. Then I meditated and tapped for awhile, trying to work out the feelings around Michelle being kicked off post.

After that, I started cleaning the bathrooms, then headed to the kitchen to hear The Phantom of the Opera while I cleaned and washed dishes. Then I vacuumed the den and mopped the kitchen floor. I vacuumed the livingroom and hallways. I took a shower, then did the bedroom.

I turned my phone on and started getting texts. Jenni wanted to know about Michelle. Isadora gave me her phone number. Kurt had a question and Michelle invited me over. I read e-mail for awhile, then took the last of the cheese squares and went over to visit her.

She was in the bedroom packing. I sat and we talked as she packed. The kids were home, but playing with friends. She showed me the legal letters that she got, explaining that she was barred from Dugway and had to keep her distance from the colonel and his family. Interesting reading.

Later we sat in the living room and talked. I didn't want to leave her, but she felt this was God's plan. Casey was in the background and I got the feeling he might want some time with her. So I wrapped things up and left at 7.

I stopped by Jenni's house to set her kitchen faucet to drip. Then I went home. Chris was still gone. I had gotten a text from Steve, so I called him back. We talked about the swap shop. I read some e-mail and Chris came home with a pizza. We talked about this and that. He ate while I watched. Ha.

Eventually we decided to watch TV. I brought water with me. We watched the second episode of The Magicians. He wasn't happy with the first episode but the second one was a little better. After some discussion, we decided to give it one more try tomorrow night.

I got dressed for bed, then worked on my blog. Chris went to bed after 10, but I stayed up a little later.

Bad news

Tuesday

I got up after hearing the 7:30 alarm. I brushed, gargled, swabbed and rinsed. I went to the kitchen to make a quart of amended water (vit C and minerals). I messaged CJ and she said she was bringing 2 dozen eggs, so I put $8 in a bag and left it on the door.

I put on an interview to listen to while I made more breakfast mix and more spice mix. The missing camu camu was in the breakfast mix box. I used the Magic Bullet to make sure the mixes were totally and evenly mixed. But there was almost too much.

I peeled the eggs from yesterday. Some peeled well and some not so well. I jotted notes from the interview on sleep. I finished listening to another interview with the everyday spy guy.

I went to the ACS building to talk to Emily about the swap shop. She said it failed the fire inspection. We also talked about volunteers needing to be in VMIS. I showed her the gopher head.

I came home. I put away the eggs I found on the porch. I ate fiber gel. I made breakfast, then whipped up a batch of seed crackers and threw them in the oven. Then I ate. I read e-mail and listened to an interview.

I went by the post office to get the mail and to check for a missing tile in the ceiling of the swap shop. I could not find the missing tile. I continued on to Saronna's place. We played through the hymns and When the Saints Go Marching In. She found a book of rhythm instruction for me to use on Saturday night.

When I got home, I ran a cup of 50% vinegar through Chris' old coffee machine. I addressed some envelops and readied the cards to go. Michelle called to say she was being thrown off post by the colonel and had 48 hours to pack and leave. When the coffee machine finished, I ran it through again. Then I went over to Michelle's house with a jar of goat cheese. She told me she had been talking to someone and said not nice things about the colonel. Apparently this got reported to the colonel and now he wants her gone. Her husband came home with the bishop. The conversation continued. But then it got to be after 5:30 so I had to go home.

Chris was home when I got there and he was ready to leave. So I freshened up and got in his car. We went to the chapel where they were serving popcorn and drinks. We chatted with others, then sat up front. First the colonel and Summer spoke about FRG things, then the chaplain showed a movie about military couples talking about how they get through deployment and other challenges.

After the movie, people stood around chatting. Finally we headed out into the cold and went home. It was 8pm. I made and ate a salad. Chris made his own salad. He ran water through the old coffee machine. It wasn't back to normal, but it was better than when he put it beside the garbage can. I worked on my blog. We watched the first episode of Magicians. Later he went to bed. I stayed up to read, then got ready for sleep.

Too many towels

Monday

I got up at 8. I brushed, gargled, swabbed and rinsed. I went to the kitchen to take my supplements and drink water. I washed the utensils from cheese-making. I chose two hymns and played through them. I steamed 7 small eggs.

I read some e-mail. I opened the nut boxes and filled three containers with cashews. I refilled a small coconut oil container, and watched video of a 12yo girl who grows her own chickens and sells the eggs.

I made and ate breakfast. I put the eggs in ice water. I picked Michele up at the clinic and drove to 629 for the inspection. It went well. Then I went by Housing so Michele could return the keys.

After I dropped her off at the clinic, I went home. I read e-mail and listened to an interview. Maintenance came over to caulk the tub. While he worked, I cleared all the towels and sheets from three closets and organized them by size and purpose. Some sheets were not labeled with a size. Made in China. When the man left, the guest bed was piled high with linens.

I went back to my laptop to listen to an interview on EMF reduction. Chris came home and started his supper. I paused the interview to run to the chapel for band. Keli was there. We sat and talked for a bit until it was obvious that no one else was coming. So we practiced the hymns and some Broadway tunes. Then we locked up and left.

Keli went home. I realized I had left some music behind, so I went back into the chapel. I found the music and had one book to put away. When I got to the storage room, I saw a hole in one of the bags. I checked the mouse trap but there was no mouse. Then I was aware of a glow in the nursery. Turns out the TV monitor was on. I turned it off and went home.

Chris was at his laptop. We chatted. I drank the fiber gel. I put beef in the toaster oven. I made a salad. I said a prayer and ate while finishing the interview. I clicked over to another unfinished one. I pieced puzzles while listening.

Finally I posted to my blog and made tea. We watched the last episode of Atlantis. I thought there were more seasons, but no. Only two, which leaves the storyline hanging.

Chris and I stayed up reading till after 10. Then he went to bed and later so did I.

Cheese-making

Sunday

I spent some time awake in the middle of the night, but woke up around 8. I brushed and gargled and swabbed and rinsed. I drank water and checked e-mail. I started heating goat milk. I watched an hour presentation on muscle-testing. I worked on a questionnaire using muscle-testing. I put milk in the dehydrator to ripen. I heated more milk and added vinegar when it reached 180. The automatic stirring device came in very handy. I took supplements,

At noon, I made and ate breakfast. I got dressed for church. I checked the music, then took my trombone and cheese squares to church. I went in the chapel and laid out the cheese squares. I went up front to assemble my trombone. Then I greeted John M who has been gone for awhile. Keli asked me about kids costumes and I told her the LDS church might have some.

The service started with praise songs. Then the chaplain spoke about marriage. Then we played two hymns. Afterward, Jenni told us about being gone for two weeks. And there being a lot of subs in schools lately. Then we parted. I put away my trombone and took the cheese squares home. I meant to leave my trombone there, but I forgot.

I went home and pulled the ripening cheese from the dehydrator. It was finally ready. I changed my clothes, then scooped the curds. I watched a video on building hoop houses. I ate some cheese squares and pistachios.

At 5 the game started. Everyone got on Discord. Our little band fought against harpies and others. We bought armor and weapons and spells with the treasure we earned from winning the fights. Then we were engaged to find a missing boy.

At 8 we ended the game. I worked on my blog. For some reason it would not let me upload a pic so I had to e-mail the post in. That results in me having less control over the photo. Then I made tea. We watched an episode of Atlantis. Chris went to bed. I stayed up to read, then watered the plants and went to bed around 11.

Dinner with the Damours

<P>
  Saturday<P>
We got up before 8.  I brushed, gargled, swabbed and rinsed.  Then I went to the kitchen to take supplements and prepare water.  I worked on the blog I should have posted last night.  I also jotted notes for yesterday and then posted that too.  I added hours to my VMIS tracker.<P>
I checked e-mail and Facebook.  At 10 I asked Chris for a massage.  He said yes and I went back to prepare me and the bed.  When he did not come back, I went out and asked if he needed more time.  This led to quite a 'discussion'.  Took about an hour.  Then he gave me a massage.  Afterward, I took my shower and he took his.  <P>
I put eggs in the steamer, then I made and ate breakfast.  I called Michele and then John but neither answered.  So I drove over to 629 and no one was there.  So I went to 612.  Michele let me in.  We talked for a bit, then I drove us over to 629 to clean. We started upstairs and worked our way down.  I found places that needed scrubbing even though we did not get it dirty.  Like the tub.  I didn't do a full clean, but it was cleaner than it was.  We got the window tracks and baseboards too.  <P>
There was a bunch of stuff to move out.  Like all the stuff I used to set up the place thinking they would move in.  We took some of it back to my place.  I peeled eggs while Michele got a snack.  Chris was there and he was about to go to the commissary, so Michele went with him.  I went back to 629 with boxes to load up stuff and bedding.  I worked on the kitchen cabinets and stove.  This was dirt left behind from a previous tenant.  <P>
I was working on the stairs when I heard Michele unlocking the front door.  I threw open the door and shouted Boo.  It was the funniest thing!  I collapsed on the floor, just like rotflmao indicates.  She laughed too once she recovered from the shock.  Then we worked on packing the boxes and moving stuff to the garage for the final clean.  Michele mopped while I shoved everything in my car.  We left a cloth there for her to wipe up spots that the inspection team might point out. <P>
We went to 612.  John and Chris were literally making a bed.  She and I picked up a few things.  She made me a cup of tea.  Then she made rice.  The men came down and put the leaves in the table, which was not as easy as it should have been.  When they finished, they retired to the living room.  I set the table while she added kimchi, tuna, onion, diced peppers, corn and peas.  She filled plates and put them on the table and we all gathered round to say grace.  Then we ate and talked. <P>
After supper, they wanted to go to the gym.  But Chris and I said we could not exercise after eating.  So we went home.  We got the water jugs and went to the post office to fill them.  We also dropped off two boxes of stuff at the swap shop.  And I picked up our mail, although most of it was for John and Michele. <P>
When we got home, Chris brought in the water.  I started listening to a cheese-making video from the same site that showed me how to butcher and skin a goat.  After listening once, and hearing how she started with cultured milk, I put a quart of milk on the stove to warm.  I looked through my probiotics for an L-reuteri.  Then I added that to the milk to culture and put it on the stove.  I jotted notes for my blog, stopping to check in the temperature.  <P>
When it reached 90, I shut the gas off.  I let it set for awhile.  Finally I made tea.  While Chris turned on the TV etc, I poured the warm milk back into the bottle and put it in the fridge.  Then we watched an episode of Atlantis.  I helped him make the bed.  He went to bed while I brushed, swabbed and gargled.  I played a few hymns on my trombone.  Then I looked up Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis to see what I missed in the game.  I stopped it at the first step that we missed.  I jotted notes for my blog and went to bed.<P>

Indian food

Friday

I got up around 8. Chris was gone to some function associated with work. I brushed, gargled, swabbed and rinsed. The cold that had gone away has come back. But why? I put some hydrogen peroxide in a cup and soaked all my toothbrushes in it.

I got dressed, took supplements, and made fiber water. I put minerals and vitamin C in a quart of water and drank most of it, putting the rest in a bottle. I took the bottle with me to Math Morning. Karen was already there with Saronna's 4 kids. I worked with her and the kids kind of helped each other until Casey arrived. Then he worked with them.

BTW, Moira found a mouse in a trap and brought it to me. There was a baggie on top of the trash so I put it in there. Its a huge trash can and no one has emptied it in months.

I went home. I checked e-mail and Telegram messages. I made and ate breakfast. Chris came home from his function around 1. He had stuff to do so could not take me to Tooele. So I quickly made a grocery list and he dropped me off at Michele's house.

They weren't quite ready to go. I talked to Michele. Then John and I worked on resetting the garage code. We didn't get the keypad working, but the remote became effective. Then we piled in the car and headed to Tooele.

We chatted on the way, so I missed my Friday afternoon nap. John, who was driving, said a nap sounded good and he was going to try it right away. HA! Eventually we arrived at the bank at 2:30 for their appointment. But the lady was still working with a prior customer. Finally we got called back. I sat and listened while the lady helped Michele and John set up an account. It took a long time considering they had all the documents she asked for.

Afterward, we dropped John off at WalGreens for prescriptions. Then Michele and I went to Luckey's for groceries. She disappeared while I went to the bathroom. Her phone doesn't work here so I could not call her when I got out. John called to say he was ready. I picked up what I needed, then checked out. I found her sitting in her car.

We picked up John and then went to the Indian restaurant. They went in to get a table and I walked to Melanie's to get a few things. I didn't have my credit card so I'd had to pay cash at Lucky's and so I had less to spend at Melanies. Then I went to the restaurant hoping the kids were willing to pay. They had already ordered so we chatted for a few moments until the food arrived. It was very good, as before. I couldn't tell you what it was. Coconut lamb something. With rice and nan.

It was getting dark when we left. John and Michele's evening game got canceled because they were going to be late. So when they dropped me off, they stayed for a bit. Michele then went home. John helped me level up my character.

I prepared for Game Night, sadly forgetting about my blog. John and I went to Michelle's house. Michelle was asleep, but Casey was up with the kids. He called up the game: King's Quest. John worked at the keyboard, starting from where I left off last week. Using the map I made, he was able to pick up a few last things, climb the beanstalk, go to the leprechaun kingdom, get the scepter and shield, then go back to the castle. The king congratulated him, then conveniently died, leaving Sir Graham (the little figure who had all the adventures) in charge of the kingdom.

So, with that over, we looked at the other games in the directory. I picked Indiana Jones and the lost city of Atlantis. John had played it before but never finished it. There was a long introductory sequence to set the story, then we were left on a street. There was a presentation by a lady who might have clues, but the ticket taker would not let us in. So we went around back and tried to open the door. But he would not let us in. John figured out how to move nearby crates around so we could climb up the fire escape.

Eventually we got to talk to the lady and she insisted on coming along on the quest. She had clues and we found other clues. But at some point, there were no more clues and no more ways to combine the objects we had picked up.

It was also after 11. Michelle had gotten up and she gave me 4 quarts of goat milk. We thanked her and Casey and left. I dropped John off at his house. I went home and found Chris on his computer. I shut everything down and we went to bed.

Road kill

Thursday

I got up at 8:30 having spent too much time awake during the night. No particular reason. I brushed and swabbed and gargled and rinsed. Doing this twice a day has gotten rid of my congestion.

I went to the dining room to check messages on my phone and online. I took my morning supplements. I practiced my trombone by playing through hymns in the book. I stopped to scan and print two that I liked. I posted to Facebook for Math Morning.

I made breakfast and watched The Highwire as I ate. Then I remembered the eggs. Too late to pickle them, but I put 7 in the steamer and let it run. Later I put them in an ice bath to cool off.

After The Highwire, I went outside to rake gopher mounds. I found a package on the porch from Walmart. It contained earrings and the Cat6 cord. I hooked the cord up to my laptop to make sure it worked. I watched part of New World Next Week.

At 3:50 I paused it and went to the chapel to unlock the door for Keli. I knew Janet was coming, so I gave Keli the container that formerly held soup to give to Janet. When I got back, I resumed the video.

While watching, I put all my saved seeds on a plate and sorted them. I took half the apple seeds and put them in a bag of dirt which I then sealed and put in the fridge for May. Hopefully they will sprout.

I found some netting in my sewing closet. I cut a square equal to the size of the box fan. Then I took off the broken side, covered it with the netting and secured it with the broken side and the screws. Almost good as new.

I watched a video on road kill. He explained how to judge the freshness of the meat and how to skin a deer. It was a goat he was working on and the way he did it, there was no blood.

Chris came home from work with a pizza. I made a carrot salad for supper. I worked on my blog. Then we watched an episode of Atlantis. He went to bed and I stayed up to read.

The long discussion

Wednesday

I got up around 7:30. I brushed, swabbed, rinsed and gargled. I prepared for Meditation Morning. I exercised and read for 30 minutes. I meditated and tapped. When that process was over, I cleaned the bathrooms. I stripped the guest bed and put the sheets and mattress cover in the wash.

I worked in the kitchen, wiping counter tops and washing dishes. I checked messages on my phone and online. I vacuumed the den and mopped the kitchen. I took a shower and got dressed. I trimmed my hair. I swept the hall, diningroom and livingroom.

I watched some videos from e-mail. There was a nice one on how to make sandals from an old tire. I put the sheets in the dryer. I scrubbed burner bowls and set them up to dry. I pulled out the two trays of chocolates and put them in a container in the fridge. I folded laundry.

It was unusually warm (for February) so I went outside to poke holes in gopher tunnels and pour pellets in. But it was windy, so I did not light the smoke bombs.

I played my trombone. I went through some hymns in an alternate hymn book and made some copies for future Sundays. I drank vitamin C water while working on my blog. Chris came from work, then went to Mass.

When he got back, he went to change his clothes. When he came out of the bedroom, he was just livid that I hadn't folded his socks when I folded the rest of the clothes. It made him feel that he wasn't important to me and that I didn't respect him. I figured there had to be more to it. So we had a long discussion. So long that we didn't have time to watch TV. I took my evening supplements and brushed, swabbed, gargled and rinsed. Then I read a few last e-mails while he went to bed.

The half hair cut

Tuesday

I got up around 8. I brushed and gargled and rinsed and swabbed. I could smell meat that Chris had in the oven on low temp. I made a quart of water with vitamin C and minerals. I played my trombone. I listened to an interview with the CEO of EverydaySpy. He talked about things he learned in the CIA and how to apply them to business.

I read e-mail. I made and ate breakfast. Chris came home just long enough to make a sandwich, then he went back to work to eat with Michele.

I went to Saronna's house to play. We played through a number of hymns and When the Saints go Marching In. Randy gave me some gopher poison and three gas sticks. Afterward I took my trombone home. I picked up the library book.

I parked in front of Michelle's house. In a few minutes she was home with Isadora. She invited me in. I sat while she cut my hair, but she didn't take much off. Then she got ready to go in town for exercise classes. Isadora wanted help with her math. So she and I went through her practice test. Then I asked if she wanted to help me get water and she did. So she and her dog got in my car. I drove to my house to get a 5 gallon jug and a rolling cart. Then we walked to the post office. I filled the jug. I also unlocked the swap shop and moved inside some stuff someone had left outside the door.

She put the filled jug on the cart and pulled it behind her. I carried Electra's leash for awhile, but then Isadora took it back. The cart kept falling sideways so she just picked up the jug and carried it so the rest of the way. I had her leave it on the front porch and I took her and the dog home.

When I got back, Chris was home. I asked him to bring the jug inside. He was having supper. I ingested the rest of the fiber gel. I listened to the rest of an interview, then ate some of the meat Chris had cooked today. I worked on my blog. I made tea and we watched two episodes of Atlantis. Then he went to bed and I stayed up to read e-mail.

Problems with chocolate

Monday

I got up around 8, but I heard my alarm at 7:30. I brushed, gargled, swabbed my ears and rinsed my sinuses. I made a quart of amended water. I could not find the camu camu powder that I have been using, so I used blueberry powder. And vitamin C and trace minerals. I sipped it while watching an interview.

I made a breathe jar out with essential oils for congestion. I left it sit for awhile because it wasn't as strong as I remembered from last time.

I tried to take pics of a video on making a potholder, but my camera keeps taking pics with a bit of movement. I don't know how to describe it. So I have to specifically choose 'portrait' to take a still pic. I tried going into camera settings to see if anything there got changed, and I saw 'allow nearby devices'. I unallowed it and then I couldn't take any pics at all. I looked it up on the internet and apparently lots of people have discovered this and are very unhappy about it. They downloaded a different app called Open Camera. I may have to do that.

I walked to the swap shop to unlock it by request. I walked back and ate half of the fiber gel. I picked two hymns about families and scanned them into the computer. I made breakfast and realized I hadn't taken the morning supplements. I ate breakfast while reading e-mail.

CJ hadn't brought me any eggs last week. I found some scrambled eggs in the freezer. I thawed them out and cooked them in the toaster oven. I read more articles. I cleaned up the hymn copies and printed them out. I played them and realized I had printed the same one twice. I printed out the other one and played through it. I took the early morning supplements.

I heated a bag of chocolate chips in a double boiler. I took dehydrated sweet potato sticks from the dehydrator. I started dipping them in the chocolate, but all of a sudden the chocolate seized up, like water had gotten in. The only thing I can figure is that it was steam from the double boiler. I put in more chocolate and some ghee.

Chris came home and heated up his supper. I threw some short ribs in the toaster oven. I finished painting the potato sticks with chocolate and did some banana chunks and then small rounds of banana mixed with coconut flakes and cinnamon.

I ate and went to band at 7. I unlocked the chapel door and let everyone in. Janet's son Bryson gave me a container of soup that his mom had made. She noticed I had the sniffles yesterday. Randy came with his trumpet. But I didn't have trumpet music and he was still relearning the notes. The rest of us played hymns and Broadway tunes. Then they packed up. I turned off all the lights and locked the doors.

I went home to eat the soup. I shared some with Chris. I worked on my blog and posted to it. We watched one episode of Atlantis season 2. Afterward, I watered the plants. Chris went to bed, but I stayed up to read e-mail. I finally got it down to 1200 unread e-mails.

Still not enough vitamin C

Sunday

I got up at 8, hearing my alarm but not seeing much daylight. I got up to make vit C water and drink it in quarter cup per 6 minute intervals. I started with 2g per quarter cup and when that did nothing, I upped it to 3g per quarter cup. And that had an effect.

I made cheese squares and finished the vit C water. Estimate: 68g. I made more breakfast mix, then made and ate breakfast. Michele and John came over. I got dressed for chapel. We chatted until I was late.

I went to the chapel, realized I had forgotten my music, and came home to get it. I went to the bathroom one more time, then back to the chapel. They were just starting the praise music. I stood with everyone else to sing. After the three songs, I handed the hymns to Keli to look at. The chaplain gave his sermon about family. We played two hymns, one about family.

Keli said she had to work late tomorrow so we scheduled band for 7pm instead of 6pm. I didn't get to talk to Todd and Melanie. But the chaplain talked to me for some time after the service.

I came home from the chapel. I hung up my dress and Chris gave me a coconut oil massage. Then he took a shower. I just put on my night gown. Chris made supper for me while I read e-mail. He put gas in my car while I ate.

We played the family DnD game. Basically we fought some Gnolls. We killed one and the rest surrendered. We went into town to sell off our booty. On the way back to the major town, we ran into an idk awful thing and killed it. The magician that conjured it up made insulting remarks and fled.

After the game, I placed an order for cat6 cable, earrings, and a gooseneck clamp. I worked on my blog. I made tea and we watched one episode of Atlantis. Then we dressed the bed with clean sheets. Chris went to bed. I read e-mail till almost 11, then got ready for sleep, forgetting to take the bedtime supplements.

Condiments and rhythm class

Saturday

We got up late. I did the usual first morning stuff. I made a quart of vitamin C water and drank ¼ cup every 6 minutes. I got online and was watching a video on making a turtle mop when my internet connection dropped. Chris helped me parse it out and the problem turned out to be the cat5 cord. So he and I worked together to put a new end on it. But that didn't work and he didn't want to do the other end. He looked up cat5 cords and said we could get a 50ft one from WalMart for $10. So ok.

There wasn't time for a massage. I made and ate breakfast. I finished the turtle mop video and took some pics in case I want it for a class project later. I steamed three sweet potatoes, cut them into sticks and put them in the dehydrator.

Michele and John came by to pick up stuff. I took a shower and got dressed. Then I collected felt, floss and templates for class.

I took the stuff and headed to the chapel. I unlocked the doors, turned on the lights, and set up the space. Summer came with her two kids. I showed them the condiments we were making for sandwiches, like mustard and ketchup, mayo, peanut better and jelly. Her little girl decided on ketchup and mustard. Then Sophia and Isadora came in talking about a gopher. So I went out to see it. By the time I got there it was dead, so I picked it up by the tail and dropped it by my car.

I went back in to help the little girl get started sewing. Then another lady came and she and daughter worked on making the sandwich. Sophia made a mustard and ketchup item, then headed out. Isadora didn't make anything and I think she left a bag with a dress in it. The other lady stayed and we chatted for a while. Then she took her daughter and the project home to finish. I stayed to look through the Catholic hymnal and pick out some rhythms for class tonight.

I went home. Chris was pulling the beef ribs out of the oven. I jotted notes for my blog. All of a sudden, my keyboard stopped working. The trackpad was fine so I figured I had accidentally turned the keystrokes off somehow. So I texted Michelle. She looked up some things to try but they didn't work except for bringing up the on-screen keyboard. It was slowgoing, but at leat I could look for answers. I texted Kurt, too, but he didn't reply for some time. And then not on the topic.

Anyway, I ate supper, then sat and read a book by the red light lamp until it was time to go. Thankfully I finished the book which is now overdue. I packed up my computer and a few things, then went to the chapel for Project Night.

I unlocked the doors and turned on the lights. Leilani was right behind me. We talked and then her mother and siblings arrived. I talked to them in the chapel as we got ready for rhythm class. I walked into the fellowship hall to see it full of people working on projects. That was heart-warming. Then I went back to the sanctuary to lead class. We beat through some one-liners in the Catholic hymnal. It went well.

After class, I went back to the hall to see what the others were doing. I took my laptop to Casey. He looked up something and suggested holding the shift key for 8 seconds. When that didn't work, he told me I'd have to reboot it. And, as much as I didn't want to do that, it worked.

Then I talked to Jenni and MeryAnn. Everyone finished their project and went home except Jenni, although MeryAnn and Stirling stayed to help clean up. Finally we turn off the lights, locked the doors and went home.

It was all but 9:30. I made tea and we watched one episode of Atlantis. Then Chris went to bed and I stayed up to work on my blog post. I was feeling congested, so I was going to go right to bed, but got caught up in watching videos of a man who cleans up people's yards that are really bad.

Getting the hours straightned out

Friday

I got up around 7:30, but didn't hear the alarm. I got ready for the day. I read some messages, then got ready for Math Morning. I checked to see if anyone on Facebook enjoyed my math blurb, but there were no comments.

I went to the chapel to set up. Casey arrived and we chatted. Then Saronna came with her kids. Moira and Wilhelm sat by me. They both had trouble with their times tables. We discussed how we could set up a game where they could buzz in (like Jeopardy or Family Feud) to answer multiplication problems. It was almost 10 when Randy came by with a breakfast casserole. He offered me a piece but it had pancake mix in it so I declined.

When I got home, I read messages. I finished sewing the ketchup and mayo samples. John and Michele stopped by to pick up some stuff. I searched the house for yarn needles, knowing I had some in a small box with straws for a project from long ago. But I didn't find it. I made up supplements for a week, then made and ate breakfast.

I made a list and we went to the commissary. We unloaded the groceries, then went to Tooele. We shopped at the usual places and I went to Joanns for more felt and floss and needles.

When we got home, Jamie gave me her hours and I computed her portion of our cleaning income. I made a salad, and Chris cooked eggs for me. As I was eating, Jamie came over for boxes and packing materials. Afterward, I updated our cleaning contracts to reflect what we did and what we got paid. I read messages and e-mail for a bit. Faye messaged me and we had a nice chat. I also worked on my blog. Then I got ready for Game Night.

Casey and the kids and their friends were there when I arrived. Casey had moved the game to the raspberry pie, so the saved games were not saved any more. I got Cedric to get the little man over the bridge to the castle, talk to the king, and then come out the other side. I took it from there. As I passed certain squares, I jotted notes on a map. I saved here and there so I wouldn't have to go all the way back. Once the map was complete, I knew which squares to avoid. A lot less dying that way. However, the bird dropped me in front of a hole, and I had to fall in. Then I offered cheese to the rat but he got me before I finished.

It was 11, so I shut down the game. Michelle and I talked a little longer and then I went home. I got ready for bed and slipped under the covers as Chris got up to use the bathroom. I spoke to him when he got back, and he was startled because he hadn't heard me come home.
