Finding out that they plan to renovate the swap shop

Wednesday

I got up around 8. I brushed my teeth and swished. I prepared for coffee morning with special exercises and rebounding. I meditated and tapped. I cleaned the bathrooms and kitchen. I watered the plants. I emptied the dishwasher and refilled it. I washed the extra dishes by hand.

I mopped and vacuumed. I took a shower. I walked to the post office to get the mail. On the way back, I walked up the back street and located the windshield cover that had blown away. Sadly it had mouse holes chewed in it.

I watched a video on menopause. I returned Steve's call. He had heard the swap shop was being renovated and thought we could donate everything to a local charity and just start new afterward. I went to the library to get more eggs to color. Then I stopped in Emily's office to ask her about the swap shop. We had a nice and informative chat.

I went home. I texted Isadora to see if she wanted to color more eggs. She did. So I went over with the eggs and markers. She showed me the cake she made. She was very proud. It was covered with flowers made of frosting. I commented it would look nice with a Barbie in the middle, like she was lying in a field of flowers. Well, Isa took me seriously. So after we colored the eggs, she wanted to go to the swap shop. Just then, Collie called to see if there was an iron in the swap shop. I told him I would look.

I took Isa and her dog to the shop. We went in. She found a Barbie and I told her she needed to wash it and maybe dip it in bleach. I did not find an iron. Then I took her home. As I headed home myself, I passed Michele walking home from work.

I got home right about 5:30. I got online to finish up the tapping meditations for Day 2. Chris came home with the chicken he had taken for the potluck. He was home for a bit, then headed to the chapel for Mass. I finished the meditations, read some other messages, then tuned it to Day 3.

I was listening to the first of Day 3 when Chris came home. We chatted for a bit. He wants us to go to the cake auction tomorrow and the couple's retreat in March – which falls on a sewing Saturday. I posted to my blog and made tea. We watched the season ender of Hamish McBeth. Later Chris went to bed. I stayed up to watch a tapping video and meditation. Then I read a book by the red lamp. Finally I got ready and went to bed.
