Sunday
I got up around 8, no RLS (unless I slept through it). I did some Sudoku, then turned to my morning list. I did everything on the list. I ate the yogurts one spoonful at a time in order to identify the best tasting ones. I care more about health benefits than taste, but the people I share with apparently don't.
I made more breakfast mix and spice mix. I read out in the sun. I ate fiber gel and jotted notes for my blog. Chris took a shower and fixed his lunch. Then I made breakfast. After breakfast I got ready for church. I headed out, then turned around and came back for the cheese squares.
When I got to the chapel, I left the snack in the back and went up front to assemble my trombone. They were ready to start. And my music was nowhere to be found. The chaplain started the service with the giving QR code, and prayer and scripture reading. Then he gave his sermon on Pentecost. Afterward, Keli and I went up to play. I had to get the hymn numbers from her and play out of the hymnbook. It was much harder to read than the large print copies I use.
After the service, we chatted. Attendance was low and so most of the cheese squares were still there. We talked about VBS and then I went home to change clothes. Chris and I moved the tower garden outside. I watered the plants and some new gopher mounds.
I read e-mail. Chris made supper. I went to the garden to turn on the water. I tried to use an oscillating sprinkler but it didn't oscillate. So I put the old one back on. Jack had connected his hose to my bib so I stole some of his water pressure.
When I got home, supper was ready. I ate while listening to a podcast on exercising for people over 50. I read other things. I worked on my blog. I went back to the garden to turn off the water. I hooked up a timer, but could not get it tight enough so that it didn't leak during the off hours.
I went home. I watered the flowerbeds. I made tea and we watched one episode of Criminal Minds. Then we retired to our laptops. Eventually he went to bed. I stayed up to read before going to bed.
