Just a quick note..

We got up earlyto get ready for the trip. I think we were on the road by 7 which was Chris' target time. It rained off and on most of the trip. We stopped for lunch at Subway, and later at a Hardees for a bathroom break. Our first stop in Pinehurst was Hit Point Hobbies, which was in a new place. Then we went to Lowes and Walmart to get a tarp and a cargo net. Then we checked in at the Holiday Express, which we believe is new since we moved away. Finally we drove to our old house to get some stuff from the shed and garage. I met the man who lives there now. The property had at least 5 trucks. The yard was covered in pinestraw. The garage was so full of junk that I could hardly look for what I wanted. Most of what we wanted was in the shed anyway. It took us awhile to get it out since the electricity is not working in there. Then we talked to Max and Hannah who live behind our house. They told us that Barbara and Bill had moved to New Jersey 2 weeks ago. They also said they hoped the people renting our house would move. When we were finished there, we went to visit Joyce and her husband. We had a nice chat to catch up. Then we retired to the hotel. I ate a few pieces of something that came in the Nuts.com order and am now posting to my blog from Chris' computer. I forgot to take pics of the property or of the people we visited. Will post something tomorrow.
