The very long Project Night

Saturday

I woke up hearing Chris' alarm. He got up to prepare chili, which would then cook all day in the crock pot. I got up later. I made fiber gel, but not chia. I took supplements, then made a batch of breakfast mix and a week's worth of supplements.

Chris came home from Mass. I asked him for a massage and he complied. Later I turned on the steam sauna and used ginger essential oil. Afterward, I took a shower. Chris started the laundry. I folded all the little towels that I washed yesterday and hung up the wet ones to dry.

I made and ate breakfast. I read e-mail and watched part of a documentary on Gates. Then I took my sewing bag and went to the chapel for sewing class. I stopped at the post office to pick up mail. I ran into Melissa and we chatted a bit, then I hurried off to the chapel.

Wendy had just arrived. We unlocked the chapel and went in. Saronna didn't bring her kids because they were sick. But then Janet brought her daughter. So I helped her made an organizer out of the sunflower fabric that she picked. Janet took pics. Then they left. Wendy and I chatted as we locked up and headed out.

I went to 60D to clean. I texted Isadora and she came over, too. We spent about an hour. Then she got a head from home and we stuck it in the window as a kind of joke. Then we went home.

Chris was getting ready for John and Michele to come over for supper. I watched some videos on how to build small fires. I worked on my blog. John and Michele arrived about 6. John was wearing a mask because he wasn't feeling well. I had them sign the card for Rod. We all ate together and conversed.

At 7 I went to the chapel and opened it for Project Night. I laid down in the sanctuary until I heard voices in the fellowship hall. It was Casey, Cedric and Isadora. I chatted with them, then realized I didn't have my phone. So I drove home and got it, plus a box of patterns. When I got back, I laid out the remnants of my blue cotton sheet. I pulled out several patterns that included pants. I spent some time choosing one and altering it to fit. The Cleggs went home. John and Michele stayed a little longer, but they left before 9. I had so much laid out that I decided to stay until all pieces were cut. I had to undo the hem at the top of the sheet to have enough fabric to make the cuts. After cutting out the fronts and backs, I cleaned up, packed up, turned out the lights and went home.

Chris and I dressed the bed. I read the latest messages and finished my blog post.
