The War Room

I got up before 8, I got ready for the day, I put yogurt in a cheese cloth to thicken. I I went through a pile of denim pieces and noticed there were two pairs of jeans that were all cotton. I tried one on and it fit around the hips and waist, but was too long. So I shortened the legs. It also had a button fly which I didn't like. I went through the scraps to find a zipped fly. I took the zipper out. I cut off the buttons with a wire cutter. Then basted the zipper in. But when I zipped it up, the pull came off at the top.

I started playing The Highwire while I made breakfast. After eating, I looked up how to put the zipper pull back on. I had to take the lower guard off which I didn't want to do. I stitched across both ends to secure them afterwards.

At 2:45 I went to 60D for inspection. I wiped the window tracks which had collected a bit of dust. When the inspectors came, she had me sign the paper almost immediately. I encouraged her to look around. She found some brown dots in the toilet bowl. She flushed, but they didn't move. I wiped them with my cloth and they went away. Had someone been here and used the toilet?

Afterward, I delivered the head and envelop to Isadora's house. I stopped at the commissary for tomatoes, shredded cheese, blueberries and raspberries. When I got home, I made cheese squares in heart shapes. I made seed crackers in squares. I put the thickened yogurt in a jar.

I sewed in the zipper as well as I could by machine. I finished the job with a needle and thread. I listened to the two tapping meditations which were about to be replaced. Just as the second one was wrapping up, it disappeared and Day 4 videos came up.

It was 6pm. We went to the chapel for their movie night. There was a table with pizza and snacks. The chaplain said a prayer and people put food on plates and sat down. I wasn't hungry so I got a bottle of water and sat with Chris. Eryne joined us and then Karen joined her.

The movie was called War Room. It was pretty good. We chatted afterwards, and people pitched in to clean up. Then we went home. I started working on my blog. We went to fill our three water jugs. I finished my blog. Chris didn't to watch TV, so we played on our laptops and later went to bed.
