Clean bill of health from the dentist

 

Friday

I woke up early but stayed in bed trying to do some mental programming. I did not sleep well, partly due to RLS. I got up at 8 and did my usual morning routine. I went to the chapel at 9 for Math Morning. Randy came with the kids. They did not seem interested in their math. I helped Jedediah count chairs, but he got very wiggly after half so we just went back to the fellowship hall.

It was after 10 when I called time. We packed up, locked the doors and turned off the lights. I went by the post office to check for mail, but there was none. Then I went home. I ate fiber gel and started making tea. I washed out my bowl and was drying it when it slipped from my hand and shattered on the tile floor. Not a fan of tile floors. Chris helped me clean it up.

I made breakfast. Chris went to the commissary. I ate while reading an article on the energy inside a seed. I jotted notes for my blog. He came back and we headed to Tooele. I think I fell asleep for awhile. He dropped me off at the dentist while he went shopping.

I showed them my new insurance card. Later I went back to the chair. The hygienist scheduled my next appointment, then took x-rays. Thankfully I had a packet of vitamin C in my purse. I swallowed that before the x-rays. After that, she cleaned my teeth. Later the dentist came in to check and said everything looked good. She gave me some samples of probiotics for teeth. Due to our new insurance, I did not have to pay.

Chris was waiting in the outer room. He took me to Melanie's. I had a good time chatting with the ladies there. One was a master herbalist and she recommended yarrow tea for increasing sweating. Afterward, we bought windshield wipers, then headed back to base.

When we got back, I made some yarrow tea, then went in the sauna for 20 minutes. I drank most of the tea inside the tent. I don't think I sweated sooner or more. Anyway, I cleaned up afterward and took a shower and got dressed.

I made notes for my game. Chris went to his game. I made and ate supper. I got ready for my game. I took a jar of sleep yogurt to Janet's house. She invited me in for a bit. Then I went to Michelle's house to play The Lighthouse. Casey had it up on the screen. But for awhile, there was no one in the room. Michelle was laying down. Later Casey came in and I played the game, referring to my notes. But eventually the notes ran out and I got stuck. Then Michelle came out to talk. We talked till 11:30, then I went home.

Chris was fast asleep. I ate some sleep yogurt and got read for bed. Sleep seemed near, but it still took awhile to fall asleep.
