I'm upset enough for both of us

 

Wednesday

I got up on time. I prepared for Coffee Morning still wearing the wrist guard. I exercised and meditated and tapped. I expected to hear from the first quote yesterday so I turned on my phone about 11:30, but she never called. I cleaned the bathrooms and washed dishes with a plastic bag over the wrist guard. I did not use the sauna in case she might call. I did lay in the sun for awhile since it was so nice outside.

I took off the wrist guard and showered.  I ate a bag of frozen watermelon which seemed to help my wrist. I checked e-mail. I used an egg from the yellow jar and one from the orange jar to make egg salad. Sadly both eggs were yellow. And only on the outside. The color did not seep in towards the yoke.  I sewed the waistband to the pants. When I tried them on, the waistband was too big. Sigh. 

Chris came home from work. He told me that Michele was notified today that her position is an overhire and will be eliminated. I was shocked! He changed clothes and explained more about it. Then John and Michele came over to hear more and ask questions. She has until Monday to decide if she wants to take the cash buy-out or sign up for the job they are required to provide – somewhere, doing something she is qualified for. Frankly I thought she'd be more upset. I guess they are resigned.

I worked on my blog. I made tea. We watched an episode of Criminal Minds. I prepared the sauna and steamed for 20 minutes. Chris was in bed when I got out. I cleaned up and showered and went to bed.
