Free massage

I got up about 8. Since I spent all day Wednesday going to Tennessee, I moved coffee morning to Friday, that is, today. For my sewing requirement, I sewed strips of fleece end to end. Then I swished and made coffee. I rinsed the pokeberry fabric a little and put it in Synthrapol. I watched the second episode of the Home Remedy Summit:
Ashwagandha – stress remedy that takes two weeks. It reduces cortisol in studies. Headaches are caused by too much energy in the head. Certain herb combinations can bring the energy down. Feverfew is one example. Headaches can be caused by too much yang because yin diminishes with age. Try 30g of willowbark. Corydalis, poppy seed, yanhuso, ground red pepper on a cut, and cayenne are all pain relievers. Make an ointment of it. Noni root, and kava can be calming and sedating,
Fiber based solar cells work better when covered with pokeberry dye.
I put on some meditation music for tapping. I took niacin and did my exercises.
When I was done tapping, I started cleaning. I sprayed the bathrooms and kitchen with hydrogen peroxide and wiped it all. I vacuumed floors. I got dressed and had a seed cracker and 10 cloves of garlic.
Just before two, I left the house. I watered the plants and got in my car. I arrived on time at the Korean clinic. They showed me the fixes that had taken place since they submitted the letter I wrote for them. Then she wanted me to fix the bank app on her phone. Like I know anything about apps. She gave me her ID and password but it wouldn't go through. Finally I called the bank. A lady talked me through it and the app crashed. I had to use Dr. Hwang's laptop to access her account and change the password. Then I was able to get in with the app. Labor-saving device, huh?
Dr. Lee offered me a foot detox, which I gratefully accepted. He brought me a tub of water and the ionizer. While my feet were detoxing, Dr. Grace handed me her tablet and said to play beautiful music on it. I called up the Youtube audio of waterfalls and bird song that she liked before. Then she brought me a banana. Perfect. She talked to me until the foot bath was over. She said I should steam clean my mattress so my itchy scalp would get better. She also said I should change out mattresses every 3 years. Then she sat me in another chair and hooked up the foot massager and shoulder massager. After that, someone came in for acupuncture. When the 15 minute massage was over, I put on my shoes and picked up my purse. She gave me a box of onion juice packets to take along. I thanked her and went home.
It was just after 4. Chris pulled in a minute after I did. He had a package from Swanson. I looked in the house mail and found a DVD from Netflix. I unpacked the Swanson box. William called to update me on Patrick's new living situation. Chris made himself supper. I put a bowl of onion soup in the toaster oven to heat. Then I remembered that I forgot to eat breakfast. So I made and ate breakfast, then went for the bowl of onion soup. I listened to interviews while I ate.
As soon as I was done, I moved my laptop to the guest room and set it up for a skype call. My tapping buddy was already on. We tapped for issues around my visit to the dentist. She recommended Calc-fluor, a homeopathic remedy. It went almost 2 hours.
Then I took my laptop back to the diningroom. Chris and I watched four episodes of McHale's Navy. He went to bed and I stayed up to blog, and swish, put on supplement patches, and drink kava tea.
* I took notes by photographing the screen during the presentation. *

What are teeth made of?

I got up about 8. I brushed, drank some water, and sewed patches onto my nightgown. Then I brushed again and swished while checking e-mail and listening to the first episode called The Quest for Lost Medicine (Home Remedy Summit). I rinsed out the fabric in the poke berry bath. I put it in diluted vinegar and poured some more juice on it. I boiled some salt water and poured it in the garbage can outside.
I listened to an interview from the SIBO summit. I researched ingredients in the MI Paste that dentist sold me. I was not impressed, and decided not to use it – especially since I have the main ingredient as one of my supplements.
I boiled water for nuts, and also poured it in the water bottles to rinse them out. I found the bags of lemon cubes in the fridge and put them in the freezer where they belong. I am not sure how they got out of the freezer. I scrubbed the garbage can and rinsed it in the tub. Then I made and ate breakfast. I got dressed. I cut 6 one inch strips of the blue and yellow checkerboard fabric for the blue project and I headed out to quilting.
When I arrived, they were having lunch. I set up my machine. I cut border strips from dark blue fabric and started sewing them together. When all the blue strips were sewn on, I joined the checkerboard strips and sewed them on. When I got to the last one, I stopped to help Pat put pockets in the back of books that were being donated to our guild library. She gave me the stack of 15 books to take home and print labels for. There was also a folder of label paper and mock-ups of forms she needed to print.
Most ladies were gone by 2. Melissa came in after her long dentist appointment. She told us how the dentist drilled implants into her jaw bone to replace missing teeth. I thanked God I still had all my teeth.
As we packed up, we discovered that some people left their extra food there – a tray of watermelon and a fruit bowl. Christy asked me to take it all so I did. I put the watermelon between two foam plates and put that in a bag. I put a towel under it in the car in case the juice leaked. The fruit bowl went on top. I returned to her the rest of the checkerboard fabric.
When I got home, I brought the food in first. Then I went back for my sewing stuff. I ate most of the watermelon. I put the remainder plus the other fruit in a freezer bag and froze it.
I pulled the garbage can from the tub and put a clean liner in it. I tied up the garbage from the waste basket and put it in the larger one. I gave the plants a little water, thinking it was going to rain. I waited for Chris, but when he wasn't home by 4:45, I left anyway.
I went for a walk, hoping it would not rain on me. And it didn't. When I got back, Chris was home. He said he waved at me when he drove by me but I did not notice and kept on walking. Oh well.
I made and ate salad while listening to an audio. We called Michele to ask about her new job and the car she bought from her grandparents. That child has the luck of the Irish to be sure! Maybe it comes from being so lucky in parentage.
I finished reading e-mail. I looked at ozone generators online. I finished sewing the last checkerboard border strip on the blue quilt. I pressed it and trimmed the corners. I swished with xylitol. Chris ran the dishwasher.
It was after 8 when we sat down to watch DS9. As usual, we saw two episodes. Chris made his sandwich and went to bed. I stayed up to swish with calcium hydroxyapatite and write up the events of the day.

To fill or not to fill

It was almost 8 when I got up after doing visualizations and intentions. I brushed and swished and sewed fleece strips together. I took a shower and got dressed. I turned on the router and listened to interviews while I checked e-mail and looked at my vision board. I looked up in my blog how long I have been putting onion juice on my head. I rinsed out some aluminum water bottles. I filled four of the glass ones that got washed yesterday. I put some mineral drops or salt in each one. I shaved off some of the white hairs growing at the nape of my neck. I took the dried leaves off of the moringa stems and collected them in a baggie.
When 10am came and went, I called Beverly who said she was leaving her house in 5 minutes. I put my four water bottles in a handbag and drove to the church on Jordan. She had just driven up. I parked my car and got in her car. Then we were on our way.
She drove to Brentwood the same way Chris did two months ago. In fact, I think we got off at the same exit. But it was only 12:30 and we were looking for Stitchers Garden. We drove up one street and down another. She called her husband and he had his map ready. He gave her directions, which were hard to follow in lunch-time traffic. But eventually we found it.
It was full of fabric. The density approached that of my sewing room. But the lighting was better. On the other hand, it was so closely packed that much of it was hard to see. We looked at batiks, panels, texture prints, nature prints, blenders, etc. There was quite a selection. But all of it was the same price - $12.99. Fat quarters were more numerous than the stars. But when I brought bolt of red clapboard up and asked if it came in fat quarters, she replied no because she doesn't cut fat quarters any more. So I put it back. After much browsing, I selected two panels and two prints. I took them to the front desk to be cut. The woman moved like she was in pain. When she had cut the fabric and rung it up, she asked if I needed a bag. I had heard that she doesn't like to give out bags, so I said no. Beverly had nothing to buy, so we went out to her car.
I had given Beverly the address of the dentist and she punched it into her GPS. We followed its directions to the office, which was closer than we thought. We arrived 20 minutes early. I checked in and they took my picture. She and I used the restroom, then sat down to wait. It wasn't long before the hygienist came to get me.
She took me to an exam room. We talked about the proper use of ozone cream. I told her about my itchy scalp. She recommended a different product and maybe an ozone shot. Then she went to get the dentist. We talked and he suggested a third product. He put a swab in each side of my mouth to numb the gums in the back. I had a hot flash. Then he pulled out the ozone shot. He said I would barely feel it. Ha, ha, ha. I felt it alright. He pressed the plunger slowly, but the pain increased. When he pulled the needle out, the pain kept on going. He and the nurse said no one had had this reaction before. He decided no ozone shots for my scalp. Then I asked if the broken tooth with the filling could be remineralized. He had a topical remedy to suggest. He said it needed a crown, and then he was gone. I waited for him to come back and replace the filling. I had some questions, but the hygienist said her take on the conversation was that we had decided to leave the filling alone and just use the topical remedy for now. She gave me two substances, one for my scalp and one for my tooth. She walked me to the payment desk to pay. I felt lightheaded and confused. Should I have insisted on replacing the filling?
I paid, and went out to the waiting room where Beverly was stitching binding. We went out to her car. Using the GPS, she drove us to The Quilting Squares quilt shop. Retail therapy was what I needed. I wasn't sure how to feel about what happened at the dentist's office, and my jaw ached.
We went inside and looked around. Beverly said they had a lot less this time than last time. It was very nicely arranged, but there wasn't much to choose from. I picked up some fat quarters. The owner said she was closing the shop because the landlord had doubled the rent. But she was hopeful about a buyer who would relocate the business.
After I paid, we followed the GPS to … some place out of our way. She had shut it off early because her phone was low on power and we missed a turn. But we got it finally and found our way to Joann's. It was a big Joanns. We looked at all the fabrics, more than once. I checked out a few things in other sections. Finally I made some decisions. She got some of what I got. She texted Anita for coupons. Then we went to the checkout line. The lady scanned the coupons on Beverly's phone and I got $10 off my purchase. Then we went back to her car.
Dusk was falling. I had only one water bottle left and I drank it. She finished her bottle, too. I texted Chris to find out how his interview went. Fine, he said.
We went all the way back to Huntsville without a potty break. When we got to the church, I gave her some money for gas. Then we went our separate ways.
When I got home, I rushed to the bathroom. Then I started jotting notes for my blog. Chris qued up DS9 on Netflix and we watched two episodes. Chris looked up one of the actresses. Then he took the garbage out and put the trash can in the back yard to be cleaned. I put on a sleep patch. I swished and finished my blog post. I used the ozone cream and spit it out before I went to bed. Then I retired for the night.

Natural dye experiment

As usual, once I almost fell asleep, the ozone cream had liquefied and ran into my throat, waking me up. I got up to spit it out and went back to bed.
I got up at 7:45. I brushed and swished and sewed the last strip to the block. I pressed it and trimmed it down to 9.5 inches. I turned on the router, deleted a few e-mails, then sewed fleece strips together to make balls of 'yarn'. I ironed the dyed fabric. The colors were too pastel for my taste. I drank water, then washed up and got dressed.
About 9:40 I went to quilting. I gave the completed block to Anita. I showed off the quilt top made of blue blocks. There were give-aways on the table. I picked up some muslin and batting. I sat by Anita while we talked and I crocheted. When I reached the end of one ball of fleece, I hand sewed the beginning of the next ball to it. I finished all I had. Beverly never showed up. I had left my phone at home and wondered if she tried to call. When most of the ladies had gone, I went home, too. I skipped the kimbap after hearing in an interview that a lot of places add flour to the rice to make it sticky.
When I got home, I ate a tomato with garlic cloves. Then I made and ate breakfast while an interview played. I washed out five kombucha bottles. I added milk to the kefir. I boiled 5 eggs and ate one while talking to Dad. I printed out a page to record the offering on.
When I left, I went to my bank to deposit a check and get cash. Then I went to my church to count money. It went well and I had no problems. Beverly called to say we were still on for tomorrow. When I had finished printing the reports, I went to the church's bank and waited in line a long time to make the deposit. From there, I stopped by the farmer's market to buy a beef heart, lamb heart and ox tail and milk.
I went home the long way, but should have taken the parkway. I checked the mail, nothing. Chris was home, but he didn't find any mail at the post office either. I boiled some water and added it to a bowl of leftover onion soup to warm it up. I read e-mail as I ate. Then I went for a walk. I took my sling handbag which had a ziplock baggie in it. I stopped several times to add poke berries to it. I was gone almost an hour.
When I got back, I made and ate a large salad. I put an old pot on the stove. I mixed ¾ cup of salt with 3 quarts of water, as per the instructions in an article. I turned the burner on and put the fabric in. It took a long time to boil, so we watched two episodes of Deep Space 9. Then I turned the burner off. I drained most of the salt water. I put in an amount of white vinegar and poured berries over it. I left it to cool and soak. I swished while writing up my blog post. I let the ozone cream sit on the gum site while I collated recyclables for tomorrow. Then it was time for bed.

Blue blocks in one piece

I heard my alarm go off, and started my visualizations. I got up to start my morning routine, but decided to pay Chris some attention. Then I brushed and swished. I sewed two strips to the block in progress. I read e-mail. At some point I made and ate breakfast. Then I got dressed and went to quilting.
The ladies were having lunch, so I sat with them. Some left and the others returned to sewing. Several were working on the charity block. The black fabric I brought wasn't big enough so I borrowed some from Dinah. I socialized with Cindy and Leona while I found a pleasing arrangement of the blue blocks and sewed them together. I pressed it while Bertha and Rebecca packed up. They waited for me to pack up and we all left together.
When I got home, there was no Chris. I figured he went to a movie. I sewed some fleece strips together and then paused to audition blue fabrics for borders for the blue blocks. I took pics of all the possibilities and deleted the ones I was sure I didn't want.
I vacuumed the sand from my suitcase. I rinsed out dyed fabric and laid them on the washing machine to dry. I ate some onion soup, then went outside to trim the yard with grass shears.
When I came back in, Chris was sitting at his laptop. He had gone to work. I made a salad, then ate some dates with coconut flakes. I listened to a podcast on dental health. I looked up poke berry dye recipes until Chris was ready.
Then we watched the first two episodes of Deep Space Nine. I don't think I had ever seen them before. I rubbed pieces of onion on my scalp while we watched. Afterward. I looked up some of the actors. I started washing the dried onion juice from my hair and then remembered that I was supposed to leave it in over night. I swished with tooth powder and xylitol while I typed up my blog. Chris made his sandwich and went to bed. And then it was my turn. I stuck a sleep patch on my arm. I put ozone cream in my mouth, and on my scalp. I was not looking forward to choking on it again as I fell asleep.
* This is the current block in progress. Almost ready to be turned in tomorrow. *

No luck at the bloodmobile

I got up around 8:15. I drank water, swished and sewed one strip. I washed up and got dressed. Since I used the sleep patch last night, I waited until this morning to put on the vitamin C patch. I drank some more water. I washed out my footies and left them to dry. Then I went to church.
I got stopped on the way for speeding. I did not argue with him, but remained calm and quiet. He did not charge me this time, he said.
I proceeded to church and was not late. I sat in my usual pew but Don was not there so I was alone. So I could have sat with Jennifer, but I didn't think of it until after the service started.
We had a supply pastor and she did not know quite how we usually do things. So there were a lot of moments when we were not sure whether to stand or sing or what. One of the videos I had watched recently suggested blessing seven people a day with what you want for yourself. So during the passing of the peace, I silently blessed everyone with strong, healthy teeth.
After the service, I went to talk to Jennifer. She told me about the farmer's market that she went to on Cook Avenue. A young girl asked her to buy donuts as a fund raiser for her school. Later, when I was talking to Mary, the girl and her sister approached Mary for the same reason. I did not want to buy donuts, but I looked for a few bucks to make a donation. But all I had were big bills after the farmer's market on Thursday. Then I went to the office to get a new list of envelop numbers. I put it where I count money. Tim came in to talk to me so we had a conversation there in the office. I walked out talking to him and to Susan.
There was a bloodmobile in the parking lot of the church. I have such good blood that it seemed selfish to keep it to myself. Thinking it might be good to test my needle phobia, I went in. I couldn't think of any reason my blood would not be acceptable, but when I offered, they refused to take it because I hadn't eaten today. They thought I might pass out giving blood. I argued a little, but no. They had snacks, but it was all processed carbs.
Then I was going to call Chris to meet me at Publix, but realized my phone was still at home. So I went home. I changed clothes, and ate a fat bomb. And we went shopping.
When we got back, we put the groceries away. Chris hardboiled eggs and started making chicken soup. I ate some cashews with butter, then made and ate breakfast.
I read part of an old book online called Woe unto you, Lawyers.
Beverly texted me and I called her back. We talked about threading her serger. I sorted fleece strips for another rug. I cut more strips after the call. I washed dye from two pieces of fabric I had soaking for weeks.
I put on a cooler shirt, and went for a walk. I picked berries, primarily poke and put them in a baggie. On the way home, I licked my hands so they didn't look like I had just come from a murder. I washed my hands well at home. The soup was ready, so I ate a bowl of it and my daily handful of nuts. Later I made a salad, and ate it while listening to an interview on gums: There is healthy plaque and unhealthy plaque. Oil pulling gets rid of too many bacteria. Any bleeding of the gums is bad.
It was after 9 when we watched the last two episodes of McHale's Navy on the DVD. Then we watched an episode of Good Witch, the series. Now that I have seen the movie that the series is based on, it makes more sense. Actually there are 5 more movies that I haven't seen yet. I typed up my blog post and got ready for bed.

Vision board

I don't know when I got up this morning, but it started in the usual way: brushing, drinking water, sewing. Chris already had the router on, so I dived into e-mail. At some point, Chris decided to give me a coconut oil massage. Saved him $80.
Later I made and ate breakfast, and also ate a tomato and 10 cloves of pickled garlic. I looked for a Pinterest board for healthy teeth and did not find one. So I made a Pinterest page of smiles featuring perfect teeth. I added lots of pics of old movie stars when they were younger to get (hopefully) smiles of natural teeth and not dentures or crowns. I added some blog pics to my sewing page.
About 4, I ate some lunch. I repaired underarm seams in Chris' orange shirt. I read more e-mail, trying to catch up to where I was before I went to the beach. I listened to health audios while playing Solitaire. I peaked at my vision board of toothy smiles.
I took a walk to the back of the neighborhood, looking for anything new flowering, but nothing was. When I got back, I watered the plants. I mowed the lawn in the other direction 'till the mower slowed down. I plugged the battery in to recharge. I checked the mail, but the box was empty. I took a shower and put on my nightgown. Then I made a salad for supper. After eating, I rested on the couch until Chris finished whatever he was doing. Then we watched 4 episodes of McHale's Navy. Afterward, Chris and I put clean sheets on the bed. Then I swished with sesame oil while I typed up my blog post for today. I put on a 'sleep starter' patch that includes magnesium and melatonin and hoped to fall asleep easily.
* this is a flowering vine that Beverly and I saw on Tuesday. I don't know what it is. *
