I got up around 8. Chris was not in bed so I assumed he went to work. I washed up and got ready for the day. I went to address a birthday card and realized the envelop was too dark blue for the ink to show. So I hunted for blank labels and couldn't find any. I wrote the address on a white piece of cardstock and cut it out with fancy scissors. I glued that to the envelop and finished the process. During that process I heard a throat-clearing and found that Chris was sleeping on the sofa.

I posted to Facebook announcing band practice tonight. Mrs. Popkin had given me some matchbooks so I prepared a stink bomb for the gophers. Chris got up and started coffee. I watered the plants with a weak whey solution.

I went to 60B to clean. Only the bathroom was left so I worked on that. But what I had to clean with wasn't strong enough, so I went home to get a pumice stone and some scrubbies. I also found some more ammonia. I picked up the puzzles and music. I went to 602A to get the tub soaking in ammonia. A man came by to replace the filter and Corporal Popken drove by. I helped him carry the fire pit to his house. I drained the hose by the front door and put it in my trunk. I went by Self Help to return it but they were closed. Then I went to the library where I made copies of some music and dropped off the puzzles.

Finally I went home for lunch. Chris still wasn't feeling well. I read e-mail and other messages as I ate. Around 2:30 I went back to 60B to finish the bathroom, mop the floors and sweep out the shed. Then I packed up my cleaning stuff and went to 602A to drop it off. However the red car was still there. So I parked in 602B and unloaded my supplies, then I parked in the street.

I worked on the worst part which was the sliding glass doors. They were full of mud and dog prints. I also scrubbed the nearby walls. Then I went to Jamie's house to pick a pumpkin. We chatted about her dog that had just been put down. She agreed to mow the lawn at 60B so we could have an inspection.

I went home, passing Self Help. I asked the lady there if she wanted the hose back and she said no. When I got home, I asked Chris about the hose and he said he would speak to his team. I heated ground beef and potatoes in the toaster oven. I relaxed and read messages until it was ready, then I ate my supper.

Immediately I had to get my music and head to the chapel. I was a little late and they were all crowded at the door waiting. I let us in and I texted Jenni. Then I assembled my trombone, and everyone found their place. We went through the two hymns for Sunday. Jenni showed up with her tambourine. We played through Christmas music. Michelle showed up and started taking pictures. Steve came and left me some ammonia and a pair of jeans to fix.

I invited Michelle to sing along and she really enjoyed it. It got late and Saronna had to take her kids home. Those who remained, finished the list of Christmas songs. Jenni left. I brought in some sticky traps from 60B and we placed them around the chapel. Then Keli left. I was too tired to go home. Michelle stayed to talk to me. She was looking up red dresses for our performance. Finally she offered to carry most of my stuff out to the car so we could both go home.

Chris was still up when I got home. I read messages and listened to short videos. Then I started working on my blog. He went to bed. I listened to the wind as I typed. I made tea. I read more e-mail, then went to bed.
