Game Night

Friday

I got up at 8. I greeted Cecily and took probiotics and supplements. I made a heart-shaped patch and sewed it on the banner to cover what the mice ate. Al and Cecily went to the commissary. Later I took vitamin C. I emptied a bag that a sweet potato plant had been growing in for 2 years. There were no potatoes underneath.

I made and breakfast. I compiled a grocery list. Chris and I stopped by the post office on our way to Tooele. We shopped at Luckey's. Then I walked to Melanie's to get a few things. When I came out, I looked for Chris' car and it was at Cal Ranch. So I headed that way, pausing at the dark, empty Joanns store to say goodbye.

Chris came out with a 4-way splitter but I wanted some 2-ways as well. So we went back. I picked out some baby plants and three splitters. Then we went to Macey's for a few things and headed back to base.

After unloading the groceries, I sat outside and read for 15 minutes. A study showed people lost an average of 1 pound a week doing that. I checked e-mail. I connected a splitter to the hose bib on the sunny side. I screwed on both hoses and turned on the one to the sprinkler. I set the sprinkler near the front yard and went in.

I sat at the table and talked to Al. Then Cecily and Chris brought food to the table. We held hands and said grace. Then we ate chicken, rice, salad, and broccoli. I went out and moved the sprinkler head. We chatted some more. I messaged Michelle. I worked on my blog.

I texted Casey to make sure he was still up for Game Night. I turned the sprinkler off and watered a few potted plants. I put tea in a bottle and picked up my game book. I headed over to his house. He was getting back from a 7 mile hike so I turned on the TV and the raspberry pie. He turned on the game.

I played Castle of Dr. Brain, starting from where I left off before. The robot puzzle was particularly difficult until I realized that the directions were cardinal from where the robot arm was attached, not from where the robot hand was currently located. Whew!

The other puzzles went pretty quickly until I got to the jigsaw puzzle. There was no picture to go by. It was slow going. Then I realized it was 11pm, so I saved the game and bid Casey goodnight. When I got home, everyone was in bed. So I drank my tea (which I had left in the car during the game) and took evening supplements. Then I got ready for bed.

EMS potluck

Thursday

I got up at 7:30. Ginger canceled our last Bible study because she had too much stuff to do to get ready for moving. Cecily was looking forward to going. So I checked e-mail. I looked at a window I had left open from last night, but I don't remember what it was.

At 9:30 I went to the garden to put straw around the fruit trees. I stopped at the gym to find out who had plot 16 so I could ask to hook to their water source. I also went by House #2 to check on the irrigation to the apple tree. Someone had shut off the water. I turned it back on and made sure it was coming out at the apple tree and the pear tree.

Then I went to 60C, just in time to meet the inspectors. It wasn't a final clean, so we got to ask questions about which things were going to be replaced or painted over. That way we know what to concentrate on. I started the self-clean cycle on the stove. They want it finished by Wednesday and Jamie said she could do it. It was after 10:30, so I just headed to 211. Some of the inspectors had gone straight over as well. We chatted until Collie showed up. Then we went through the usual procedure. I signed the papers and handed over the key.

I got home about 11. I ate fiber gel. I planted seeds in the tower garden and some other places. I asked Cecily about fixing the mouse damage to the communion banner. We agreed it should soak. So I laid it out with a wet soapy sponge on the pile of fecal mass.

I made breakfast and ate it while watching The Highwire. During that time, Saronna texted that she had to cancel our practice today. So I did not have to pause it at 2. I was going to eat the two hardboiled eggs that were still in my purse, but they had gone bad.

I sat outside and read for awhile. I went to Sherry's yard sale to get the mop I had seen before. Then I saw a pile felt and pipecleaners, so I bought those. Then I went to 60C to clean the oven, mop the kitchen floor and work on the window sill. I sprayed hyopchlorous acid on the stucco where the dogs had peed repeatedly.

I got back at 4:30. I was hot and sweaty so I took off my clothes and laid on the bed. Chris came home from work. He took the chicken out of the oven. He and Cecily packed wine and some leftovers. Finally I got dressed and went with them to the pavilion for the potluck to honor EMS workers.

Anca met me and pointed to a lady wanted to volunteer at the swap shop. So I went to talk to her and her husband. I told her about becoming a volunteer. Then we talked about hobbies and interests. I thought they might like to talk to John and Michele because he was into gaming and she liked writing fiction.

When they got up to get in line for food, I went to sit with Cecily and John. He had food, but Chris was bringing her food. I chatted for awhile, then went to get a plate. Forks seemed to be gone, so Michele gave me hers. I sat and listened to Chris talk to another John. A man told me how he treats his yard for gophers.

We went home when Cecily was ready to go. Chris went back. I read e-mail for awhile. Then someone texted me that they wanted to go to the swap shop tonight. So I went over there to unlock the doors. I was leaving, but saw her drive up so I went back in to make sure she knew the doors were unlocked. I wanted to lock them behind her but she seemed to want me to hang around so I did.

When I got home, I went outside to water all the plants. I checked e-mail, then started working on my blog. Chris came back from the potluck and got on his laptop.

Dinner at Michele's

Wednesday

I got up at 7:30. I prepared for coffee morning. I told Al and Cecily that I had a morning schedule to keep. Al spent the morning on hold with the IRS and then the call dropped. Cecily read a book.

When I was done with coffee morning, I cleaned the house and vacuumed the floors and mopped the kitchen. I also watered the indoor plants. I went to the garden and moved the hose to water different plants.

I went to the post office building to see the new hairdresser. She said Chris had been her first customer. I was like the 3rd or 4th . She cut my hair and trimmed my eyebrows. Because I'm over 60, it was only $15. We chatted until the chaplain came in for a haircut. Then I went home.

I made copies of Leavin on a jet plane. I read some e-mail, then took a break to sit outside. I came in at 4 when the giant voice system did its loud test. I read some more and worked on my blog. I took a push dose, then sat outside again to read. Suddenly I realized it was time to meet Keli and Saronna at the chapel, so I grabbed my trombone and went. Saronna wasn't there, but Keli was. We played through Leaving on a Jet Plane twice. She went home.

I went out to my car. As I pulled out, the priest was pulling in. I went home and took the catch dose. Chris was already home. He loaded his parents into his car and headed to the chapel for Mass. I got a container and walked out to the bale of straw to harvest some for mulch.

I saw Chris drive back. I thought he saw me. But when he didn't leave again, I went in. He was looking for my key to the chapel because the priest had forgotten his. So I told him it was the orange one. I spread straw on the pots of tomatoes, peas, and radishes. I came in to read. I sent a message about the new CDC recommendations to people on the list. I listened to part of an interview on heavy metals. I watered the outside plants and a gopher hole.

Then I drove to Michele's house. Al and Cecily and Chris were already there, having just left the chapel. Michele was serving dinner. She placed a pack of stretch needles by my place. She put a burger with cheese in front of each person. Then she remembered that it was my fasting day. I decided to eat because it was a special thing for us to have a meal there. She also served sweet potato chunks and a cut up zucchini. There wasn't much so all I had was the burger. It tasted really good because she had mixed in chorizo. But I think it didn't digest so well because later my hands hurt for the rest of the night.

After dinner, Chris and Al went back to get the cake and ice cream. They ate and we all chatted. When Cecily got tired, they got in Chris' car and he drove them back to our house. I took my car and stopped by the garden to shut off the water.

Cecily went to bed. I sat at my computer to check e-mail and Al talked to me for over an hour. Finally he went to bed and I stayed up to write about my day. Actually he came back several times to say one more thing. Then he went to bed and I finished writing. I realized I had not used the progesterone, but decided I was not leaving the bedroom again.

Long talks

Tuesday

I got up after my first two alarms went off. I washed up and got dressed and brushed my teeth. I took probiotics, etc. I read some e-mail. I ordered some phosphatidylcholine. Alfred got ready and went to Tooele for a prescription. I went cleaning at 211 at 9:30. When I was nearly finished, I called Jamie to come over and get her stuff. When she did, she helped me carry my cleaning stuff to my car as well.

I went home and changed clothes. I put two hardboiled eggs in my purse. Then I met Ginger at the Community Club for lunch. Chris said to order the salad and it came with pieces of chicken, so I didn't need the eggs. Micheala was there, too, so we talked about the potluck on Thursday. When we were done eating, Ginger gave me a gift bag. It had the nicest Bible in it: large print, concordance, annotated, special features, etc. She told me about the difficulties she had getting it. She wrote my name and her name in it, along with today's date – ironically Chris's birthday.

She had to go, so we left. I went to the library to get eggs and check out another book. Anca was there and said they were having a surprise potluck for the chaplain after church on Sunday. Then I went to Housing to schedule inspection for 211. I scheduled a preliminary inspection for 60C in response to Housing's request for a completion date. Both are on Thursday.

I ate some nuts and talked to Cecily. Alfred came back from Tooele. He had a little trouble with the prescription, but the mission did get accomplished. I sat outside and started reading the new book. I jotted notes for my blog. I read e-mail. Faye called and we talked for a long time. Al and I looked at my vacuum hose but didn't see a way to fix it. I went to the garden to plant sprouted potatoes. They looked a little baked after sitting on the back porch. There was some water coming from the garden faucet, but it had no pressure behind it. I watered them, then put the hose in the middle of the garden and left it running.

I went home, arriving just as Chris and Al did. I read e-mails. Cecily talked to me about peas and tomatoes. She and Chris started working on supper. Cecily wanted a gravy boat so I searched through the china cabinet to find one.

I made fiber gel. Michele and John came over later with a cake. Then we all sat down to eat. We had beef shoulder and sugar snap peas and roasted small potatoes. Cecily hardly ate anything, but when Michele cut the cake, Cecily asked for a small piece. Chris handed out ice cream and Cecily had like 3 scoops. It was a really good chocolate cake that Michele made.

They left. Shannon came over to deliver a plant. She stayed to talk, which was really nice. Finally she had to go. We went back inside to find Cecily in her nightgown. She went to bed. Chris and Al and I stayed up to talk. Then Chris went to bed. We kept talking till almost 11 when Al went to bed. Then I worked on my blog before turning in.

Leavin on a Jet Plane

Monday

I got up at 7:30 hearing my alarm go off. I got dressed and took the usual supplements. I finished the video from last night. I deleted a bunch of e-mail. I watched part of the updated walkthrough from my practitioner.

I put on shoes and went to 211 to clean. I spent about 2 hours. I thought I'd be finished but there is still marks on the walls to be scrubbed. I went home. I ate fiber gel. Chris asked for a loaf of bread, so I got one started in the bread machine. I took a book and went outside to read for 15 minutes. When I came in, I made and ate breakfast. I watched video clips as I ate.

Cecily and I put our suits on and went to the pool. She got wet when a boy splashed his sister and Cecily scolded him. Then she said the water was cold and she got out. But I thought it was plenty warm. I swam around for half an hour or so, then I got out. I dried off and we went home.

I read outside and finished the book. I found a copy of Leavin' on a Jet Plane and wondered if we could get away with playing it in church for the chaplain's last Sunday. The copy was incomplete so I went to the internet to find the rest of it. But I got distracted by the walkthrough of Dr. Brain. I forwarded it to the current puzzle and started solving it on paper.

When I realized what time it was, I dashed off to the chapel. I got set up and then texted Saronna and Keli. They arrived a little later. We played through hymns and some fun pieces. We even played through Leavin on a Jet Plane. Keli was able to make up the rest from memory, but I couldn't do it. She thought she might have a copy at home. Saronna and I made a plan to have a sectional on Thursday.

I went home and made a copy from Jenni's clarinet book. Then we all sat down to eat and talk. We had rice and curry. It wasn't enough for me so I got two carrots from the fridge. Cecily cleared the table.

Al and I went out to check the oil in my car. He said it was low so Chris found some in his car and added it. Then Cecily headed to bed and wanted a blanket instead of a comforter. I got her a light quilt. Then Chris and I went to the water machine at the post office. The card reader still wasn't working, but I put dollar bills in and we got our 10 gallons of water. When we got back, Chris put them in the house.

I looked through my music collection for my John Denver book thinking the song was in there. But no luck. So I looked through other books and found it. I also found a book of America songs that I wanted to look through, so I brought it to the dining room table. But Alfred had some questions and then went on to talk about his family history until 10:30. He and Chris went to bed, but I stayed up to work on my blog.

My first coin

Sunday

I got up just before 8:30. I made fiber gel and took probiotics. I did more cleaning. Chris said we could take the stuff on the guest bed to the swap shop after his shower. But while he was showering, the Damours rang the doorbell. So I invited them in and we chatted till Chris came out, and then included him.

Michele came over to help us clean. I started making breakfast and Chris said we needed to take the stuff to the swap shop. So we did. When we got back, I finished making breakfast. I ate outside sitting in the grass. Then I finished the second part of breakfast and got dressed for church. Michele went home.

Chris took his parents to the chapel in his car and I took my trombone, music and cheese squares in mine. When we arrived in church, Chris introduced his parents to the people. I talked to Keli and Janet and they thought we could cancel band tomorrow. I said ok. Then I assembled my trombone. We sang the praise songs. Then Chaplain invited a bunch of us to come up. He mentioned our contributions to the chapel and gave us each a chaplain coin.

Then he gave his sermon and the band played their two hymns. The service ended and we all chatted. Saronna wanted to come to band tomorrow and Keli said she could come too. We all went home. I read e-mail. Chris and I went to the swap shop to drop off a comforter and bag of clothing. We tried to fill our jugs with water but the card reader wasn't working.

We went home. I walked to Sherry's house to see her garage sale. They are retiring. Jenni met me there. I found canvasses that would be great for the next paint night. Also a hose. Jenni found a bunch of stuff, even after having shopped there earlier in the day.

Michele and John came over for supper. I went out back to repot some tomatoes. I came in at 6:30 and Chris and Cecily had supper ready. We had asparagus, chicken with chorizo, mushrooms and something else. We talked around the table. Later I went out to water the plants and came back in. They were still talking. Cecily went to bed. Later Alfred went to bed. Still later, John and Michele went home. I drank my tea and took supplements. Chris went to bed while I worked on my blog.

Cleaning and uncluttering

Saturday

I got up a little late. I took supplements and made fiber gel. We both read e-mail. I went through the video of shoulder exercises. Then Chris gave me a massage and we took our showers.

I cleaned out the guest room while Chris worked on the dining table. Then I worked on what he left behind for me. Chris took out the tower garden and the sweet potatoes growing in bags. Michele came over to help. After she left, I ate lunch. Then I had to run to the garden to help Jenni.

I cleared clutter in the hallway, and in the kitchen. Chris started a game online at 5. I read e-mail. I sent Michelle pictures of the places that I uncluttered. I ate supper. Jamie came by with money. John finally answered and said they just got back from the pool and needed to eat.

I planted sprouted potatoes in flower beds and the box by the compost. I watered with the hose and watering can. I flooded a few gopher holes, but none came up.

When John texted back, I went to pick him up and headed to Casey's house. The cat was glad to see us. I checked the food and John refreshed the water. Then we plugged in the raspberry pie and played Castle of Dr Brain. We got pretty far. John did most of the puzzles I had done, then we did a few more together. We shut it down just before 11.

I took him home and went to my house. Chris was still up. So we both got ready for bed and turned in.

The blood draw

Friday

I got up at 8. I got ready for the day and took probiotics, etc. I called the medical office to make sure I could get a blood draw this afternoon. Then Chris said he was busy so we had a discussion about it. He finally said we should leave at noon to be back by 4.

I went to the post office for mail and got caught in a conversation. Then I went to 211 to clean for an hour. I went home to make and eat breakfast. Jamie came over to work on the lawn and William called to say the car was sold so Michele could cancel the insurance.

At noon we got in the car. Chris programmed the GPS. We headed to Salem, going through Eureka. Seemed like the long way around, but I texted Michelle and she said both ways take the same amount of time. We got there around two and the blood draw was pretty quick.

Then we headed back. There was no time for shopping in Tooele. We stopped at the commissary for the usual foods plus something for Al and Cecily. We put the food away at home. I sat outside and read for while. Jamie had done a great job on the lawn.

I ate fiber gel. I read e-mail then ate supper. Jenni called to ask me to swim with her. I finished reading and eating. I made more breakfast mix. Then I went to the pool to meet Jenni. She was already in. I got in and swam while she talked. I went home and changed into dry clothes. I went to the garden to water the young apple tree. I used two gallon jugs, alternately filling them and letting some water soak in while watering other things. So I am not certain the tree got 5 gallons. But I spent 45 minutes adding water. I also was able to rescue my hose from plot 1.

I went home. Chris was still out gaming. There was a chocolate egg in my purse that melted in the heat. I took everything out and washed the chocolate out. I put it in the washing machine. I made bathroom spray and then laundry detergent on the stove. I worked on my blog. Chris came home from his game around 10. We read on our laptops for awhile. He went to bed first and I stayed up till 11.

Pool opens today

Thursday

I got up at 8, so there wasn't much time to get ready for Bible Study at 8:30. I arrived on time, but no one else did. Jenni came this time and she needed to talk. So we all talked for awhile, then read from Luke, then talked some more.

After Bible study, I went home to change into cleaning clothes. I cleaned for over an hour at 211. Then I went home to make and eat breakfast. Saronna texted at one that she was meeting the principal at the band room. So I ran to the school band room. He was gone, but she and I looked through the music, hoping to find a set of patriotic music. We didn't, but we did get a set of beginning band books.

I ran home to change back into what I wore to Bible study. So I was a few minutes late to the dedication ceremony for the meeting room at ACS. It is now called the Keech room. A man named Keech spoke at length about his family working here. Then the colonel spoke and Brian spoke.

When the ceremony was over, we got to look at the artwork from the Dugway contest. Lots of kids entered, plus a few adults. I was one of them. The lady who won had done a very nice drawing of a soldier sitting on a bench with flag wings. But it didn't say “Dugway” to me. Not like the gopher skull encased in resin – which was supposed to be accompanied by a poster of a gopher, but it wasn't. So probably no one knew what it was. No name, no nothing. Just hanging from a tiny stand.

Chris and the colonel left immediately for the pool opening event. I stood around and talked to people and tried the cucumber finger sandwiches because the lady who made them wanted me to get some refreshments. Then I went home to change into a bathing suit and cover. I went to the pool and was greeted by the colonel. He said I missed him and Chris jumping into the pool fully dressed. I told him there wasn't enough time between events. (I heard the scheduling was his idea).

Anyway, I sat with Chris and Michele in the pavilion. Michele wanted to talk to the CSM's mother. So Chris went to introduce us. We made conversation about living in Seoul and Korean food. Then I saw Casey, so I got him to come over and talk. He lived in Korea for a few years as a missionary.

Isadora came because I texted. We had ice cones, then we got in the pool. However, she was soon off with her friends. I did a little swimming, but it was chilly and very chlorinated. So I didn't stay in long. I sat and talked to Michele and Chris. She went home because John wasn't coming. Soon Chris and I did as well.

I changed into dry clothes. I ate fiber gel, then sat outside and read. I had egg and cheese casserole for supper. I listened to more of The Highwire, hearing Jamie mowing the lawn. Then I paused it to work on my blog.

I filled a bottle with tea and put some cheese squares in a baggie for Michelle. I went to Casey's house at 8:30. I was expecting John but he didn't show up. I played Castle of Dr. Brain. I got through more puzzles than I expected and was working on a robot arm puzzle when the clock struck 11. I saved the game and turned it off. Casey showed me how to turn each component off. Then I said thanks and good night.

I went home. Chris was already asleep. I went through the usual bedtime routine and turned in.

Setting up irrigation - part 2

Wednesday

I got up at 7:30 to prepare for coffee morning. Chris came home before I was done to change clothes to go to Org Day. I finished tapping and meditating. I cleaned the bathrooms.

Michelle left a message to call her, so when I finished the bathrooms, I called. She had gossip for me about the colonel. I talked to her as I washed dishes. I finished the kitchen and did some vacuuming. I laid outside in the sun for awhile. Then I took a shower.

I went to 211 to clean for 1:45. Then I took two short hoses and went to the pear tree. I stopped at 60C to get my wrench. Then I passed Casey sitting outside with the kids. I got out the hoses and tried to hook them up, but I wasn't strong enough. Casey came over to help. He got the splitter in place and hooked up. When he went home for WD40, I turned on the water and discovered a leak in one hose. I went to my car for a plastic bag and some twine. But just then Randy and Saronna walked by with the kids. He said he had just the thing. So he went home to get a connector. He worked on it for some time. Finally everything was in place and both trees were getting watered. I set the timer. I put placards on the system to warn people not to mess with it.

When I got home, Chris was already at Mass. I took the long mutilated hose that we didn't use and put it near the shady faucet. The yard needed mowing, and it was full of sticks. So I raked and mowed, raked and mowed.

Jamie had been having a hard day and I know yardwork makes her feel better, so I put the rake and mower away and gave her a call. We talked through her tears, and then we were laughing. Chris told me that I had gotten a call from CC Fraud Prevention so I called them back and we discussed the issue.

When the call was over, I worked on my blog. Chris was sleeping on the couch. I made tea and we watched one episode of Longmire. Then we read a lesson from the book. Afterward, he went to bed and I stayed up to read articles.

Setting up irrigation for the fruit trees

Tuesday

I got up at 7:30. I got ready for the day and made fiber gel and took probiotics. I made HOCL with the little machine. It smelled kinda like bleach. I went to 211 to clean then remembered to check 108 to make sure it was ready for inspection. It needed another hour. How did I miss so much? I went back and forth between 108 and 211 to get the cleaning supplies I needed. I tried out the HOCL. I guess it sanitizes, but it didn't seem to clean up dirt any better than ammonia.

I ate fiber gel, then sat outside and read. I made and ate breakfast. I went to Saronna's house to play. Her husband joined in for one song. Then I dropped by 60C to give Jamie her share of the money from 108. I also scrubbed the bottom of the oven.

I went home. I put some compost accelerator on the compost pile. I put some in a container and filled all the jugs with water. I took them out to the garden. I watered the flower plants and garlic and the cherry trees. The accelerator went under the hay.

On the way home, I clipped a branch from the apple tree. At home, I cut it into sections and stripped the bottom of each section. I dipped them in rooting hormone and put them in a pot of new potting soil. I covered it with a plastic bag like a mini greenhouse. William called. He said he found a buyer for the Oldsmobile, willing to pay $500. I know that will make Michele happy.

Chris came home with bags of salt for the water softener. While I was helping him, Casey came over to get the hoses from last year. Isadora came with him and got to pick through a bin of fabric. Then we took the hoses and a splitter and a timer to House #2. We hooked up the hoses and ran them to the trees. But the long black one was full of cuts like someone had mowed over it. Plus, it would not attach completely to the timer and leaked like a sieve. We could not fix that. Nor could Casey get it detached from the green hose. So we set the timer to water the apple tree and called it a day. Casey took me home.

When I got home, I made a carrot salad and added sprouts. I read messages. I worked on my blog. I made tea and we watched one episode of Longmire. Then we read a lesson from the book that the chaplain gave us. Soon Chris went to bed, but I stayed up to read.

Got kicked out of 60C

Monday

I got up around 8. I brushed, etc. I took supplements and checked the plants. Fiber gel was leftover from last night. Sigh. I picked hymns for Sunday and Father's Day. One of them needed to be scanned, cleaned up, and printed. I cleared up some of the clutter on the guest bed.

I went to the swap shop to drop off some shirts. I noticed the tables were covered in clothes and hangers. As I locked up, I saw the hairdresser setting things up in her shop, so I went over to chat with her. Then I went to 208 to prepare for inspection. I found a few spots that needed more cleaning. It took about an hour and I moved the remaining cleaning supplies to 211. There, I noticed that Jamie had moved in all her stuff from 108.

I went to Housing to schedule an inspection for 108. Then I went home to get the money for 212 and to eat fiber gel. I took the money to Jamie who was working at the barracks. We chatted a bit. Then I went to the library for eggs and the next season of Longmire, but she said Chris had already picked it up. I saw Tara walking the kids outside, so I stopped to talk to her about the swap shop.

I went home to make and eat breakfast. I also read e-mail. I sent a message to Emily. Then at 1:45, I went to 208 for inspection. Everything went well, although hangers were left behind. Collie did not attend. We all signed the papers. They left and I locked up.

I went to the swap shop to drop off the hangers. Then I went to Housing to return the key. Finally I went to 60C to clean. I did a little on the fridge, and oven. I finished the cabinet and worked on walls and floors. I also did the window tracks in the livingroom.

Just as I was getting started on the laundry room, Jamie came over to start cleaning the bathroom. We chatted about this and that. She wanted to me to leave because there wasn't enough money. I wasn't worried. She said I could come back after I finished 211.

I took most of my stuff and headed home. I saw Michele walking home and offered her a ride before I realized how full my front seat was. But she climbed in somehow and I took her home. Her neighbor remarked that I had a good car and that Cheverolet doesn't make them (Cruise) any more.

I went home for supper. Then I went to the chapel for band. We played through a bunch of hymns and two Broadway songs. Then my lips were done, so we packed up. I went to 211 to drop off the stuff from 60C. Then I went home.

I read some e-mail, then worked on my blog. I made tea and we watched an episode of Longmire. I stayed up to finish a podcast on leaky gut, and check messages.

The devil, you say

Sunday

I got up around 8:30. having slept pretty well. I took supplements and made fiber gel. I read e-mail and other articles. I made cheese squares, then read about hypochlorous acid. I have the machine that makes it and thought I might use it on the dirty house. I watered the plants.

I ate half the fiber gel. I made and ate breakfast. I got dressed for church. I packaged the cheese squares into a container. Then I took them to the chapel for church. I talked to Rick and to Kelly. Jenni came and sat by me. We sang the three praise songs. The corporal gave the sermon because the chaplain didn't come. Saronna must have had a sick kid because she didn't come either. Afterward the sermon, the band played two hymns and the service was over.

I went home, changed clothes, and sat outside several times, getting chased inside by short-lived raindrops. I read my book inside while Chris made a cheese, egg and spinach casserole. I checked e-mail, then we ate the egg/cheese casserole for supper.

John helped me level up on Discord, then the game started. Everybody logged in. Our characters were chasing a publican and devised a trap. He fell into it and Becca cast a spell over him so he would follow us around and tell us anything we wanted to know. That's when things got interesting. He admitted he was a devil, sent from another world to dominate mankind.

After the game, we folded laundry. I posted for the last two blogs and jotted notes for today. We watched the second half of the talk from Tuesday night. It was on a DVD that was handed out. By then, it was 11. So we dressed the bed and turned in.

Project Night now includes gaming

Saturday

I got up at 7, answering the call of nature. I took supplements and made up another weeks worth of dosages and combinations. I planted some squash seeds. Chris gave me a massage, then took his shower and headed out to pick up John and Michele for the Hogle Zoo.

I took my shower and got dressed. I ordered more supplements. I made compost accelerator and left it to sit. I jotted notes for my blog. I planted the cabbage from the kitchen windowsill to the tower garden. I put straw on the plants in the planter box as mulch. I put desiccated gopher parts in some bleach water to clean them.

I made and ate breakfast. I read e-mail. I planted the butter lettuce from the store. I made cardboard templates for the project. I sat outside and read for 20 minutes. Then I filled a bottle with water and went to the chapel.

I set out the sewing machines and templates. I set up the iron and put out scissors. I chose some fabric and ironed it. As the kids came in, I set the template on the fold and directed them to chose fabric.

We called Chris' parents to talk about their visit next week. Later I went cleaning for an hour. I was surprised that I could stop at an hour. I read e-mail, then we had leftover for supper. I went to the chapel for Project Night. I pulled up just as Michele arrived so we walked in together. I dropped my trombone off in the first row. Then we went into the fellowship hall. I turned on the lights. Other people came and started their projects. I put a needle for knits on one machine and sewed around the circle skirt, but it still skipped stitches.

Then I took Sophia and Janet into the sanctuary for rhythm class. We worked on the six line worksheet. Janet recorded us doing it once or twice. (Later she sent me the pics and video she took.) Then she left and Sophia and I rejoined the project group. I put away the skirt and replaced the needle. Casey put Super Mario on the TV. Cedric and I took turned playing. MeryAnn cut enough pieces to make 7 pillows. Her husband helped sew. Then they packed up the machines and iron for me. Casey called up Tetris and I really got excited. But it was 9pm. Jenni called to see if we were still sewing, but we were leaving.

When I got home, I forgot to work on my blog. I made tea and we watched an episode of Longmire, then read a chapter from the little books and answered the questions at the end. He went to bed and I stayed up to watch a video on composting.

Last Math Morning

Friday

I slept in till after 8. I got up to make fiber gel, take supplements, and get dressed. I went to the chapel for the last Math Morning. Saronna and her kids came. She told me that the teachers grade the assignments with a checkmark if completed, not by correct answers. She also said they teach the info on one day, and give the assignment the next day. It all sounded so wrong to me.

When I got home, I chatted with Chris. Then I made the neck pillow project. Chris went to get water and see the new hairdresser who was cleaning the 'shop', getting ready to move in. It's right next to the swap shop and down the hall from the water machine. I took pics of the sewing project and posted them on Facebook with the class announcement. I wished my sister a happy birthday.

I made and ate breakfast. I worked on the grocery list. We went to the commissary then took food home. Then we went to Tooele, talking all the way. He parked in front of Melanie's and walked to Luckeys. When I came out of Melanies, we headed back to base. We talked for awhile, then started listening to the book on CD.

When we got back to base and unpacked groceries, I sat outside in the grass and read. It was a beautiful warm sunny day. I filled some gallon jugs with water and went to the garden to water the plants I was told about. I question whether apple tree branches stuck in pots will root. I checked my plot and saw my hose was gone. But there was one just like it in plot #1. Hmm.

I went to 60C to clean for almost 2 hours. I didn't mean to, but it was so much fun to clean. I went home for supper which Chris had ready for me. I read e-mail as I ate. I called Chris over to see my new side tabs and we got into a 'discussion' when we tried to eliminate them.

I worked on my blog and made tea. We watched one episode of Longmire. Then we went back to our computers. I read and jotted notes for the next blog post. He went to bed but I stayed up watching a video on raising food in a grid-down scenario.

Where is the paint scraper?

Thursday

I got up before 7:30 to start getting ready. Anka had asked if we could start at 8 instead of 8:30 because she had to be at the school early. So I made sure I got to the chapel by 8 even though it meant not making fiber gel. However, they were late, so I brought in my vacuum and cleaned the sewing storage room. When I finished, they were waiting in the sanctuary.

We chatted for awhile, then read from Luke. And we chatted some more. I started to clean some more, then remembered the bag. I ran home to put the bag of money and boxes out for the egg lady, but the eggs were already here. I put them in the fridge. I went back to the chapel to clean the couches. Then I took my vacuum to 60C.

While I was having trouble opening the door, I got a call for an emergency signing, I had a contract in my car so I drove over to the apartment. The occupant was moved out but the cleaner didn't come to the signover and they couldn't get ahold of her. So they called me. He said he was quoted $150, but I charged him $350 because the tub and sink were stained and dirty. I had to call Jamie for her Venmo info and he paid that way. We signed the contract and we all left. I went to 208 across the hall to get my carpet cleaner and carry it downstairs to my car. Later I would realize that I should have moved it to 211.

Michelle called me and we talked about the hairdresser and other topics. I texted Chris that the lady was trying to get someone to talk to about getting access to the beauty shop. Chris asked if she could call him, so I texted Michelle to give her the number. Then I went to 60C to clean for an hour.

I went home for breakfast. I watched the Highwire. I paused it to sit out in the sun for 20 minutes or so. I finished The Highwire. I checked a few other things, then went back to 60C to clean for 2 hours.

I needed my paint scraper and thought it must be at 108. So I called Jamie and she said it was open. I went there to get stuff I had left behind. There wasn't much and no paint scraper. I went up to 208 to look again. Still no paint scraper. I went home to drink and potty, and pick up some plastic bags.

I picked up some ammonia and vinegar and headed to 211 to get things soaking. Jamie was there outside so we talked, but then Casey called. So she and I walked upstairs to 211. The call ended with me agreeing to have game night tonight instead of tomorrow. She brought me some pumice stones, the cheap ones. I got the toilet ring soaking in vinegar and the tub soaking in ammonia.

I went to 60C and worked for another 35 minutes. Then I went home for supper and to prepare for the game. I went to Casey's house with cheese squares for Michelle and a tomato plant for him. I had a bottle of tea for me. Cedric stayed up to watch me play Dr. Brain. I worked on programming a robot to pick up stuff. I also spent time solving the Expert level of a modified version of Tetris.

At 11, I went home. Chris was still up. I got ready for bed and we both turned in.

Swap shop, swap shop

Wednesday

I got up at 7:30. I cleaned up a little in the kitchen. Then I started the coffee. I did exercises and took supplements. I read for half an hour sitting against the PEMF mat. I did several rounds of tapping and meditation.

I cleaned the bathrooms and started on the kitchen. Chris and Michele came by to get my car. They took it to the gas station and filled the tank. Then they dropped it off and went back to work.

I got a call from maintenance wanting to get into the swap shop to replace a ceiling tile. So I threw on some old clothes and went there to open it. They propped the door open and I locked it again so I wouldn't have to go back.

I resumed cleaning. Then the phone rang again. It was Shannon saying she and others were trying to get into the swap shop. (I thought that was Emily's group). So I went back to unlock it again. Shannon and I talked about where things go and what they could do while volunteering. Steve asked for the key so I could leave and he would lock up. So I gave it to him. I went home and finished cleaning. I took a shower and put on clean clothes.

I sat outside and read for 15 minutes. It was really windy so I didn't stay out any later. I came in and looked at a couple of messages. I posted for Math Morning, the last one for this school year. I watered the plants. I put the dishes away and got the oven racks from the dishwasher.

I got a text from Chris saying they were at the chapel. I had forgotten. So I jumped in the car and headed over. The chaplain and Chris and I had a nice session. He gave us some devotional books to use together each night. The Catholic priest came in to get ready for Mass. I went home. I switched out the vacuum cleaner in my car for the one in the house. After doing a few more things, I sat down to clear out e-mail.

Chris came home from Mass. We chatted. I worked on my blog. I picked a project for Saturday. Might be a little involved. I made tea and we watched one episode of Longmire. Then we did one of the devotionals from the book that the chaplain gave us. I showed Chris the piece of metal scrubbie stuck in my finger. He fished it out with a pin. It was a long painful process. Then we both got ready for bed. I read a few more e-mails and hit the hay.

Finally getting started on 60C

Tuesday

I got up at 7:30, having laid awake praying that the strong winds would not kill our plants. I got dressed, brushed, and took supplements. I made more breakfast mix. I checked e-mail and other messages. I made fiber gel. I took out the trash because it smelled like fish (which we haven't had in a long time).

I went to 60C. As I looked around and took 'before' pictures, I laughed and laughed. It was so delectably dirty and I couldn't wait to get started. I cleaned for 45 minutes, then went to the swap shop to hang clothing with Jenni.

I went home for breakfast. At 2 I went to Saronna's house. We played through the hymns for Sunday and one of the Broadway songs. Then I went to 60C to clean for 90 minutes. I stopped at 208 to get more cleaning supplies before going to Housing to schedule the 208 inspection for Monday at 2.

I went home to pee, then went to Terry's house for quote. Jamie showed up soon after. We looked around and it looked pretty good. Just the windows and carpets. We conferred and took an average of $150. They accepted pretty readily. I headed home for a quick bite.

Chris came home and took me to the chapel for the BSRT event, which was a video. The guy was a pastor and he was talking about men vs women. He injected lots of humor. In the back, the chaplain had pizza, popcorn and drinks.

When we got home, I ate a cucumber. I read messages, then worked on my blog. I made tea and we watched one episode of Longmire. Chris went to bed and I stayed up to read.

Re-filling the swap shop

Monday

I got up at 7:30. As I was getting ready for the day, I heard the door close. I went out to find Chris had come back to make a sandwich and pick up his laptop. I finished making fiber gel, etc. I read e-mail and other messages.

I went to 208 to clean. John was going to carry my carpet shampooer up the stairs, but he was late so I carried it up myself. I scrubbed the inside of the toilet again. I moved a coffee table out of the way and started cleaning.

John showed up about 10:15. He moved the furniture in room A to one side while I worked on half of room B. Then he moved room B furniture over to the shampooed side while I worked on Room A. Back and forth. Then he left and I finished up the doorways with extra passes because of the extra dirt. I packed my bucket with supplies and carried them to my car.

I went home and made breakfast. I ate some of it outside. At 1, I went to the swap shop to help carry all the stuff back in. John came and carried heavy stuff. I got a cleaning cloth and wiped shelves as they came back in. We got it all in, but not necessarily arranged. I started hanging clothes and realized it was late.

I went to 52D for inspection, but it was over and it passed. Then I went to the library to return a book and pick up a box of eggs. I got home at the same time Jenni arrived. We chatted while I changed shoes. Then we walked to the post office. Jamie showed Jenni what we had done at the swap shop. I picked up the mail. We walked back to my house. She stayed to chat. She was upset about being told she couldn't sub for that school anymore.

She went home at 5. I ate fiber gel and supper. Then I went to band. Everybody showed up. We played hymns for Sunday and a few that we don't know when we will play them. We also played from the Broadway book.

I checked on the latest house but it was locked. I went home. I read messages and listened to an interview. Jamie came by for spot cleaner and the lock box to use on the newest house. I worked on my blog. I made tea and we watched one episode of Longmire. I worked on VMIS hours. Chris went to bed. I read for awhile, then got ready for sleep.

Mother's Day brunch

Sunday

I got up before 8. I brushed my teeth and took supplements. I took a biffido probiotic to avoid lactobacillis triggering leaky gut symptoms. I whipped up a batch of cheese squares. However, instead of grabbing the turmeric, I grabbed the homemade spice mix. I also forgot the parmesan cheese. Chris had already put it in the oven by the time I remembered. But I took it out, spread the grated cheese on top, and threw it back in the oven.

I read e-mail for awhile. John texted that he and Michele were coming over to cook us brunch at 10:30. So I got dressed and sat outside and read for 45 minutes. Then I came in. I ate the cheese crusts. I read more e-mail. I played through our morning song. Then I sat at the piano and played old tunes. John and Michele came over. He asked if I had veggies. I went out to cut some onion tops and radish leaves. John made me an omelet. I ate and played. He made one for Chris as well.

At 12:15, I got dressed for church. At 12:30 I took my trombone and the new cheese squares and headed to the chapel. Keli was practicing the praise songs. When she was done, the band gathered up front. Saronna gave her rendition of things she says when getting the kids ready to go to church. It was very amusing. Then we played Get Me To The Church On Time. The amended lyrics were on the screen and Jenni sang. People clapped when we were done.

We came down, and then we all sang the praise songs. The chaplain showed some video clips for Mother's Day. He gave his sermon. Then he had two boys come up front and get roses to hand out to the ladies of the church. He also had two boxes of chocolate-covered strawberries. He gave one to the oldest mother (Keli) and one to the youngest mother (Laura).

We went home. John washed the dishes. Chris and Michele went for beer. I changed my clothes. J and M went home. Chris followed them to help them reassemble a desk that was given to them by someone who was moving. I read e-mail. I went by Housing to water the plants but I didn't see any there. I stopped at their house to drop off a sprinkler head and I closed their garage.

I went home to have supper and start the game. Jamie came over to get the riding mower. Sadly the battery was dead, so they went home for a jump pack. We left the mower out for them. The game started and we began to play.

We were attacked and we fought them off. Then we saw a noble woman and her retinue being evicted from her house. We offered her lodging in return for answering questions about the town. The next day, we spoke to an old farmer about the publican who had foreclosed on the noble woman.

When we were done, the mower was gone. We chatted about the game. Then we looked for screws for the desk and located some that would work. I worked on my blog. I put stuff in the bread maker and started it. I made tea and we watched one episode of Longmire. Chris went to bed, but I stayed up to read and to make a Swansons order.

The cadillac of massage chairs

Saturday

I got up after 8. Chris said he heard the 8am alarm go off. I hadn't. I got up to do the usual. Then I read e-mail for a bit. I asked Chris for a massage and he complied. Then he took his shower and I took mine.

I ate fiber gel then sat outside and finished reading a book. I made and ate breakfast. I read articles. At 2 I went to the house to clean the one bedroom. The windows were dirty, but fairly easy to clean. However the baseboards looked easy to clean but the crud would not come off. I even scrubbed with a metal scrubber. I spent all of the two hours that he paid me for. I had hoped to do some work in the kitchen.

I went home to hydrate. I went to 208 to work on the bathroom for 45 minutes. When I got home, I ate the rest of the fiber gel and some of the onion/egg mixture from last night. I laid down to rest. Then we headed to Eryne's house for a game night. We passed Housing and Chris went in to tell the guy that he could leave the flowers outside till Monday.

Jenni was already there and preparing to play Pente. So Chris and I sat down. We chatted for a bit and another couple came. So we all played Pente. Then we played a round of Scrabble that we brought. I don't remember the name of the next game, but each person got their one deck of cards and laid them out like solitaire, but then had to put cards in the middle of the table as well. We all played at the same time instead of taking turns. I gave up. Oh, Nertz.

The couple left. The rest of us listened to Chris tell stories and explain how the Army works. Then we got up to go. Eryne mentioned her massage chair. So I had to try it. It was awesome! Therapeutic grade. Jenni tried it too. They gave me the leftover treats to take to church tomorrow. We went home.

I took the evening supplements, skipping the supper ones that I should have taken before we left. Chris and I made the bed. I worked on my blog. I did a little reading, then got ready for bed and turned in.

Making a circle skirt

Friday

I got up around 7:30. I made fiber gel and took supplements and got dressed. I made up a week's worth of supplements. I took Jamie's material and went to the chapel at Math Morning time. No one came, so I got out the sewing supplies and worked on a circle skirt. Chris called to ask where Michele's birth certificate was. I went home and searched. I could not find it, but I had a scan so I printed that out. Then I went back to the chapel. I got the waistband on, but the stitching wasn't good. Sewing with paper on top helped a lot, but there were still skipped stitches.

At 11:30 I went home. I drank half of the fiber gel. I checked e-mail, then made and ate breakfast. I worked on a shopping list. We went to the commissary for what we could get that was on the list. Then we went to Tooele for the rest. I shopped at Melanie's but didn't have enough cash so I had to pay by credit card. We got organic produce at Macey's, then went back to base, listening to the book on CD.

Chris told me to text John that we were home. I sat out in the yard with a book and read. When John arrived, he came out back. He handed me cash to replace the cash I had lent them. He also said they wanted to take me out to dinner on Sunday. I said we didn't have any places open on Sunday, but he said they would take me to Tooele to the Indian restaurant. We discussed timing between church and the family game. It just might work.

I went inside and found Michele was here too. We chatted. John helped me level up my character. Chris had them register for gaming sessions at the next convention. I picked all the onion tops that were going to seed, and some radish leaves. I started chopping them up.

Jamie came over to try on her skirt. John and Michele left. Jamie was happy with the skirt. Then she and I worked on getting her into the VMIS system. And, surprisingly, we succeeded. She was very happy.

After she left, I finished chopping. I put them in a fry pan with water to cook down. Then I scrambled some eggs and stirred them till they fried up. With a little seasoning, it was pretty good.

I read some e-mail and worked on my blog. I filled a bottle with tea and took some magnesium. I put a piece of chocolate and some seed crackers in a bag. I went to the one room place. I went in and put paper towels soaked in vinegar on the window tracks. I looked around to see if anything else needed cleaning.

Then I went to Michelle's house for Game Night. Casey was making kombucha. I gave him the baggie. He pulled up the game. I resumed from where I had started – in the middle of a difficult puzzle. The lack of granularity made it difficult to see. I guess I spent too much time on it. When it was done, I proceeded to other puzzles. Some didn't seem to work right. Isadora helped with those. Finally Casey got up and did something that made me look at the clock. It was just after 11. So I saved the game and exited. We said goodnight and I went home. Chris was still up. I jotted the evening notes to my blog and went to bed.

Swap Meet

Thursday

I got up after 7:30. I made fiber gel and took probiotics. Bible Study got moved from 8:30 to 8:45. So I had a little extra time to get ready. I watered the plants. I peeled some eggs. Then I went to the chapel and unlocked it. No one was there, so I took a cloth from my car and dusted the piano. Then I had to wash the cloth out. When I got back from that, everyone had arrived. We sat and chatted a bit, then read from Luke, then chatted some more.

I went home to hydrate and eat half the gel. Then I went to the Spouses Appreciation morning. I built and decorated a bird house and chatted with other ladies who came in later. Then I left there and went to 208 to clean for an hour.

I went home at noon and made breakfast. I ate while watching The Highwire. He interviewed an Amish man who retooled his factory to make canning lids because there was a shortage.

It ended before 2. I put on my bathing suit and laid out in the sun with a book. Later I came in and got dressed again. I walked to the post office to get the mail. Then I went to 208 to clean for another hour.

Just as I finished cleaning, I got a phone call from a man who wanted me to clean his window sills because they didn't pass inspection. So I went over to give him a quote. I went the back way because of all the fire engines, etc. That turned out to be a drill. When I got to his house, he showed me his bedroom. I looked at the window sills and the baseboards. I quoted him $50. He said he would turn in his key on Monday. I said I could clean it over the weekend so it would pass. He paid me on the spot. I went home. I marked down the cash and what it was for. He called to say the Housing office wanted me to be at the inspection. Would Monday at 3 work? Ok fine.

I went home to get stuff from the garage for the swap meet. I picked out cleaners that I won't use and fluid/chemical stuff that can't go to the swap shop. I had boxes and bags of stuff. I took them to the picnic area behind the gym. There was one lady there with some clothes. We chatted. Others arrived with some stuff. Some people took cleaners. Someone took the Round-Up. Yea! After awhile the others went home. They had children to feed. It wasn't yet the end time that was posted. But when Steve offered to help me pack up, I accepted.

After loading up, I went to Self Help to get flowers. They had advertised flowers for Mother's Day. Each house was allowed 4 flowers, but they came in 6-packs so he had to cut them apart. I got 4 marigolds. We talked about the extras, which were going to sit in the hot garage from Saturday evening till Monday afternoon.

On the way home, I unlocked 208, then went home for supper. I read e-mail and worked on blog. I went outside to water the outdoor plants. I made tea and we watched one episode of Longmire. I listened to an interview on The Great Taking, where banks are using YOUR assets as collateral. Since they are the protected class, they get the assets first when things go wrong. Should be illegal.

I wrote up today's notes, then went to bed.

Final meeting with practicioner

Wednesday

I got up before 7:30. I prepared for coffee morning. I drybrushed and exercised. I read for half an hour. I meditated and tapped for a couple hours. Then I cleaned the bathrooms. I took a shower and got dressed. I vacuumed.

I sat at my computer for a Zoom meeting with my online practitioner. It went for almost 2 hours. It was a wrap-up of our time together. Now I have the final instructions to follow.

I went outside to water the plants. Then I sat and read for a bit. I took some washed fabric to the chapel. I met Chris and the chaplain there. We had a marital counseling session. Then Chris left. I chatted with the chaplain about lights left on last week. The priest came in, followed by Chris. I went to the fellowship hall, got out the ironing board and iron. I ironed both pieces of fabric. Then I left by the nearest door to avoid interrupting the Catholic Mass.

When I got home, I took a shovel to the back yard. I dug up three gopher mounds till I found a tunnel. I chucked in some gopher pellets. Then I got on my computer to catch up on e-mail. I listened to part of a parasite call. Sadly I missed the best part because I forgot to account for the time zone.

I worked on my blog. I made tea. We watched one episode of Longmire. Then we had a “discussion”. So we got to bed late.

Working on our Mother's Day song

Tuesday

I got up before 8. I got dressed and took supplements. I checked e-mail and phone messages. I sent the lyrics to the chaplain to make a slide for Sunday.

I went cleaning at 9 in 208 for 2 hours. I nearly finished the kitchen and 2 windows. I went home for a Zoom meeting featuring tapping. After that, I made and ate lunch. I read outside. Then I went to Saronna's house. We chatted. She did her spiel about getting kids ready for church. I wished I had a copy of the lyrics. We played three hymns and then Get Me to The Church on Time.

I went to the library to return a book and check out the next one. I gave Keli two empty boxes and she gave me a box of eggs. I went cleaning for 90 minutes. Then I went home. Keli came over. I gave her cleaning stuff and bedding for her son. We went to the swap shop storage and she found two things. We tried to look in the connex, but someone had locked it. We went home.

Chris was home and starting a load of laundry. He found some fabric I had in the washer that I forgot to put in the dryer. Oops. I heated up some ground beef and quinoa. I also ate a large carrot. I listened to interviews and pieced puzzles. I worked on my blog. We watched one episode of Longmire. I washed dishes and read e-mail. Then I got ready for bed. But for some reason, I could not sleep and laid awake for hours.

Up and running on ARMA

Monday

It was almost 8 when I got up. It had been a rough night and I don't know why. Outside it was overcast. I got dressed and took supplements (although I missed some). I contacted Jamie and she said 212 was NOT ready for inspection. She offered to reschedule so I agreed. I read e-mail, then went cleaning for two hours. The former occupant came over to get the scarf I found on a top shelf.

After 2 hours, I went home. I made fiber gel. I logged into ARMA and called the lady back to say I was able to get in. I made a request to have the sprinklers looked at.

I made and ate breakfast while reading e-mail. I worked on lyrics for Mother's Day. I chose two hymns for Sunday. I sat outside for 15 minutes. It wasn't raining, but it was windy. I went to 108 to clean for half an hour, then I carried half my cleaning supplies up to 208 and cleaned there for an hour.

I got home after 5. I ate the fiber gel. I read some e-mail. Chris came home from work and started cooking ground beef. I headed to band at the chapel. Keli was there playing from an old book. It was so nice to hear the old tunes. Eventually Jenni and Janet came. We played through the hymns for next Sunday and another hymn. Then we worked on Get Me To the Church on Time. I handed out two copies of the lyrics. Jenni and Leilani agreed to sing them on Sunday.

We ended on time, but stayed to chat. When I got home, Chris had supper ready. We ate and read e-mail. I made tea and we watched one episode of Longmire. Then we read for awhile. He got ready for bed and I stayed up until 11, then got ready for sleep.

Expecting sun, got rain

Sunday

After having gone to bed so late, I got up at 8:35. I got ready for the day. I threw a load of rugs and cleaning cloths in the washer. I read articles and messages. I threw a dark load in. I found a recipe for compost accelerator.

I ate the last chicken leg and took ground beef from the freezer. I drank half of the fiber gel and made a batch of breakfast mix. I made and ate breakfast, then got dressed for church. I took the remaining cheese squares and headed to the chapel.

I dropped the cheese on the back table. I went up front to assemble my trombone. Janel told me about her idea for Father's Day. I put water on my slide then sat down. We sang praise songs. The chaplain gave the sermon, and then the band played two hymns. We talked to people. When I was ready to leave, the cheese squares were gone. I guess the kids liked them.

I went home. I texted Jenni about going walking but she didn't want to. It was sunny so I took some methylene blue and read for half an hour, then went out and sat in the lawn. But all too soon it started to sprinkle. Huh? So I went in. I listened to one gardening video after another, then realized it was raining hard and my car windows were down. I ran out to put them up.

I finished the video, dozing off. I switched over to e-mail. Chris texted me when his plane took off and again when it landed. I put the ground beef in the fridge. I ate some cheese for supper and made a salad with sprouts and butter lettuce.

I read and listened. It was too wet to do anything else. I worked on my blog, then I started watching Call the Midwife. Chris came home. We talked. I finished watching. We changed the sheets on the bed. He got ready for bed. I read a bit more, then finished the shoulder exercises and watered the plants, then got ready for bed.

Shoveling scat

Saturday

I woke up early, hearing what sounded like people in the house, opening doors, etc. I finally got up to check and there was no one. I went back to bed. I slept again, but woke up hearing noises again. It was time to get up anyway, so I did. No one was there, but I could hear artillery firing, which sounded a little like a door slamming.

I brushed my teeth and started taking supplements. I checked messages and listened to interviews. I whipped up a batch of seed crackers and put them in the oven. I made more of the mixes that go into the seed crackers. I peeled the remaining eggs and put them in the pickling juice.

Rachel texted me that she had picked up the load of manure and was on her way to Dugway. She said there was a website for the farm. So I looked at it and saw that if you order enough, they will deliver it for free. And, it is already composted, so it is ready for immediate use.

I got dressed for shoveling. I texted McKenzie to let her know it was composted. I read the article she sent me on how to use it. I went to the garden a little early and the truck was waiting. I showed them where to put the pile of aged manure. No one showed up to help shovel, so they did it and I helped as best I could. After we finished and were sweeping out the last bits, Casey arrived. I paid her. After some chatting, the couple and their grandson left. I put the broom away and got a shovel out for Casey. I took half a bucketful for my compost and left. He got a wheelbarrowful for his garden.

I went home, ate fiber gel and took a shower. Then I made and ate breakfast. I got ready and went to sewing class. Only Saronna's kids came to made the mug caddy. But they did ok. Sophia did really well. We embroidered names with the thrift store embroidery machine. It was hard to program because of the touchscreen, but then it did fine.

I went home. I sat outside and read for awhile. I went into eat the rest of the fiber gel and to heat chicken for supper. I hardboiled two batches of eggs. I ate a carrot while waiting. Chris called to see how things were going. I ate the chicken, then took my trombone and went to the chapel for Project Night.

Sophia was waiting for me. She had chosen an extended hexagon quilt to work on. No one else came for Rhythm class so she and I did it alone. Then I got her started on cutting strips for the hexagon quilt. Casey loaded Mario on the Atari and hooked it to the large TV. I played Mario for awhile, getting a little further than last time. Then we each packed up to go home. However Sophia just took her fabric pieces with her. I had to clean up the ruler and cutter and mat. I also put away all the notions and class fabric. Casey carried the embroidery machine to my car. We locked the chapel and went home.

I drove to Michele's house and put out more food for the cat. I laid on the bed and read a book. The cat laid with me now and then. After too long, I went home. I checked e-mail and watched an episode of Call the Midwife. I looked up how to earn extra credit points with the Dr. Brain game. It was almost midnight and I was about to go to bed when I remembered my blog. I jotted and wrote, posted and went to bed.

Dealing with dead gophers

Friday

I woke up before 7:30, but didn't want to get up. When I did, I brushed my teeth and got dressed. I went to the kitchen to make fiber gel and take supplements.

At 9 I went to the chapel for Math morning. Casey came as well. We worked with the three kids. The adults chatted and tried to keep the kids on target.

Afterward, I went to 108 to clean for an hour. I went home to hydrate, then picked up Isadora and brought her to my house. We 'rescued' some gopher skulls from bodies that had been frozen and thawed many times over the winter. The flesh came off easily. The smell was awful, but we stuck cotton balls with cinnamon oil in our noses. Then I took her home. I went home to make and eat breakfast. I posed for Project Night. Then I went to Keli's RV and cleaned it. She paid me immediately after.

I went home, I sat outside and read. I came in and hydrated. I walked to the post office to get the mail. I checked e-mail and messages. I sent a thankyou e-mail to the extension agent. I looked through my grocery list and seemed to only need fruit. But I took my book and went to Michele's house to make sure their cat had food and water. I had to refill the food. I laid on the bed and read the book. The cat visited me several times. When I finished the book, the commissary was closed. I went home.

I worked on my blog. I heated some chicken for supper. I made tea and watched an episode of Call the Midwife. I checked e-mail again, then went to bed.

The cleanest that tub has ever been

Thursday

I got up after 7:30. I took probiotics and electrolytes. I made vitamin C water. I drank it to take the morning supplements. I started making up the week's supplement doses. Then I threw on some clothes and went to the chapel to unlock the door for Bible Study. Ginger was not far behind me. No one else came, so we chose to read from Isaiah. We also chatted about this and that.

Afterward, I went to 108 to clean for an hour and 45 minutes. Then I went home to ingest the fiber gel and finish parsing out supplements. Then I made breakfast and ate it while watching The Highwire. I was going to pause it for inspection at 2, but it ended earlier than expected.

I headed to 620. The inspectors were already there and sitting on the floor. They said they had written my name in the dust, and I was supposed to find it. I suggested the fans and they said no. So my second guess was the top of the fridge. Yes. I pulled a cloth from my purse, wet it, and wiped what I could. It was over my head so I could not see it. Jack took the cloth from me and got it properly wiped. It occurred to me later that I could have pushed the fridge to the counter top and jumped up that way to clean it.

Anyway, I waited around until they had a paper for me to sign. Then I asked Collie about where to place the manure when it comes on Saturday. He and I walked over to the garden and he showed me where would be good. He also showed me that they are making sidewalks to the garden gate. Nice. We walked back to 620 and our respective vehicles.

I went home. I sat out in the sun until Jamie came to clean the tub. We talked for quite a while, then she cleaned while I worked on the sewing project. When she was done, I was impressed with how clean it was. She would not take money for it because she wanted my help on another house that she underbid on because the lady was have troubles.

After she left, I finished making the mug caddy. I used the thrift embroidery machine to stitch a name on grosgrain ribbon and attached it to the caddy. I put stuff in it and took it outside to photograph. Then I posted several announcements to Facebook. I peeled two eggs and put them in the pickling juice.

I read some messages, and then posted for Math Morning. I ate fiber gel, and put steak in the toaster oven. I sat outside for 20 minutes while it heated up. Then I came and ate it.

I read more messages and listened to some interviews. I watered the newly potted plants. I posted to my blog. I went through more e-mails. I made tea. I made a to-do list for tomorrow. I watched an episode of Call The Midwife. Then I got ready for bed.

Planting the newest starts

Wednesday

I got up at 7:30 to start coffee morning. Sadly the coffee pot fell off the counter top and I had to clean up all the shards of glass. I washed and used my backup pot that was for watering plants. I exercised and did all the other usual coffee morning stuff. I meditated and tapped. I took a break to check my phone and Jack had sent me a message that Rolondo was looking for a cleaner. So I called Steve to get the number and called Rolondo and set up a time for a re-quote. His signover was at 3.

I finished up and cleaned the bathrooms and kitchen. I washed dishes and vacuumed and mopped. I took a shower and got dressed. I took table scraps and coffee grounds out to the compost pile.

I got in my car and noticed that all the windows were down a bit and it had rained this morning. I drove to Housing to schedule an inspection for tomorrow. Jack told us a funny story. I went home for a contract, then went to 208 for the quote. He had his stuff out except for a TV that wasn't worth shipping. I told him he could donate it to the swap shop. I lowered his quote from $450 to $300.

I went to 108 to clean till 3. Then I went back up to 208 for the signover, then back down to clean some more. Then I went to see John. He showed me where they keep the cat food and box. He wants me to check on the cat several times while they are gone. He also gave me a key to get in.

I went back to 108 to continue cleaning. A little after 5 I went home. I hydrated, then sat on the lawn to read till about 6. Then I checked e-mail briefly. I mixed up some potting soil and compost and used dirt to make up pots to plant peas and strawberries. I figure I can replace the peas with tomato plants when they are done.

Chris came home from Mass. I finished potting and filled a gallon jug with water. I left it sit for 30 minutes, then used it to water the newly potted plants. Then I sat down to delete most of today's e-mails and read a few others. I worked on my blog. Waterfox covered the 'post' button with a message to update or dismiss. I didn't want to update until after posting. So Chris showed me how to update even after the message went away.

I made tea and we watched one episode of Longmire. He said he was getting up at the usual time, working out, then taking a shower. Then going to get John and Michele to drive to the airport for a gaming convention. He promised not to wake me up. He went to bed and I stayed up to read.
