Squeeze box

Tuesday

I woke up early. I didn't mean to start my day then, but I did. I sat outside to read a book, but my back wasn't happy. So I laid on the bed. It wasn't ideal, but I got to read for awhile.

It was after 8:30 when I watered my plants. Later I left for the colonel's house. I fed and watered the cats, scooped their p..., and scrubbed at the oven. I tried a little baking soda and vinegar. The mess is much smaller than it was. Hopefully it will be gone by the time they get back.

I went to the garden to water and fertilize. I noticed that my main hose was leaking at a junction. I fixed it as best I could. Another family was there, tending to their plot. I went home, passing by Brian's lot and noticing that he had moved his RV.

When I got home, I watered the grass, replanted the pepper in a larger pot, and planted a bunch of sprouted garlic. I listened to something while I washed the dishes in the sink.

I made and ate breakfast, then read e-mail. The gopher guy knocked on the door. He looks like Johnny Depp (maybe I don't want to get rid off all my gophers). We discussed gophers and he went off to bait their tunnels.

I went to Saronna's house with my trombone and the squeeze box from Germany. The kids wanted to hear me play it. But it wasn't working right. The front panel came off and I could see that pieces were missing. Also there was no strap on the left to hold the wrist to open and close it.

Anyway, she and I talked, and played amidst interruptions from the kids. But it was a fun time as usual. I left at 3:40 to go to the school to walk with Diane. When we got back, Jenni was just getting home. After a short chat, we dispersed.

I went home. I read e-mail and made a salad. I also had some fish. I watched sewing videos and chose the fabric pinwheel project for this weekend. Chris took my car to the shoppette to get gas and something else.

I posted to my blog, then mowed the back yard. I made tea, and practiced a hymn on trombone. When Chris was ready, we watched Cheers and Man vs Bee. (I can't wait for the sequel: woman vs gopher). Afterwards, I read e-mail until 11:30, then went to bed.

Cats having accidents

Monday

I needed to get up in the middle of the night. Chris used the backboard. After using the bathroom, I went back to sleep. I woke up around 7 and heard him getting dressed. This time I was able to get up on my own.

I brushed and swished and watered the plants, giving them some egg shell amendment. I wrote up my blog post for yesterday. I downloaded pics and cropped them. I went to the colonel's house to tend to the cats. They hadn't eaten the wet food. I threw it out. I washed all the bowls and swept up loose food. I scooped the litter box and added more litter. Oh, the fumes! Then, as I was about to sit down to play, I discovered they had accidents on the kitchen floor and on the carpet. I cleaned it up as best I could without a carpet shampooer.

I gave them the attention they would permit, then went to the garden. I watered everything, including the peonies. I pulled some weeds, threw tumbleweed over the fence, and went home. I had a message from Michelle saying she wanted to practice on the chapel piano. So I drove over there to let her in.

I read e-mail, and made seed crackers. I refilled the mixes for the seed cracker recipe. I made breakfast. Chris came home for lunch. As I was saying my prayer, a great scrabbling sound arose. I told Chris there was something in the downspout. He came out and knocked on it until a gopher dropped out. He picked up a tool and struck it until dead, then flung it into an empty lot.

I read e-mail. I watched sewing videos, looking for our next project. I went walking with Diane at the gym at 4:30. I sprinkled cat litter on gopher mounds until I ran out. I raked as many mounds as I could. I got a blister on my thumb.

After having a bite to eat, I put on my bathing suit and went to the pool to swim with Jenni. She didn't lead aerobics. Instead we just swam around and talked. When the lifeguards packed up, we got out and dried off. We walked each other to the parking lot and made plans for tomorrow.

I went home and changed clothes. I posted to my blog. I made tea and we watched 4 episodes of Cheers. Then I read e-mail until time to go to bed.

A busy Sunday

Sunday

When I got up, my back still hurt but not as much as I expected. I got dressed and took a walk around the block. I watered the plants and flowers and then went to the colonel's house. I fed the cats and gave them fresh water. I scooped their litter and gave them cuddles. Then I went to the garden where I watered everything. I scattered cat litter over the gopher-infested area between my garden and the next one.

Since I wasn't able to clean on Saturday, I had to do it today. I went to the company house, and threw the sheets and towels in the washer. I did a quick wipe in the kitchens and bathrooms. I snagged the extra set of sheets, and went to the company apartment. On the way, I passed the chapel and saw two men standing outside. I noted that it was 11. I stopped to greet them and let them know that church is at 1pm for now.

At the apartment, I stripped the bed and and re-made it with the clean sheets. I did a quick wipe and took the trash out. I grabbed the sheets and towels and took them home to wash. While the washer ran, I made and ate breakfast, took a shower and got dressed for church.

I put the sheets in the dryer, and headed to the company house. But people were waiting at the chapel, so I unlocked it for the man and Jenni (who brought fruit for snacks). At the company house, I threw the sheets in the dryer, then went back to the chapel. Jenni made a sign for the window letting future people know about the new temporary time.

The pastor was not there by 1, so I played three hymns on trombone, as suggested by the congregation. During the first song, the pastor walked in. After the singing, he gave his sermon. I played two more hymns, then we all stood around talking and snacking.

Michelle had invited people to come and stay for a choir practice. I ducked out to go to the company house. I took the sheets out of the dryer and dressed one bed. The towels were still wet so I ran the dryer again. I went back for the choir practice. People were singing Amazing Grace while looking at their phones. I pulled out a hymnal.

People left, one by one. Some of us stayed for another hour of chatting. I went back to the company house, where I drymopped the floor. Michelle came and helped me dress the last bed. We talked while the towels dried, then I hung them in the bathrooms.

She went to the gym while I went home to get the other towels and take them to the apartment. I changed to sauna clothes and went to the gym. Michelle and I sat in the sauna and talked. When it got too hot, we opened the door. Then we talked in the changing room until 8. We checked out who else was there (ladies from the clinic). I said goodbye to Michelle and went home.

I had a bite to eat. I jotted notes for my blog, and posted for yesterday. I made tea and blueberries. It was after 9 when we sat down to watch TV. Sitting was much easier than last night.. After a few episodes of Cheers, I retired to my computer, then later went to bed.

Oh spasm!

Saturday

I got up after 8:30. I brushed and swished. I got busy watering the plants. There was a live gopher caught in a trap, so I called Chris. I looked away as he dispatched it. I continued on my gopher rounds. Under one mound was a tunnel. I placed the wide trap in it.

As I was dispersing the dirt, my back spasmed. I knocked on the siding to get Chris' attention, but it didn't work. I pulled myself up on the window sill, very carefully. Then I inched my way to the back door and came inside. I could not sit. I put on some arnica cream, and a back brace. Chris got out the chillow for me. I watched a video on inflammation by Dr. Berg. One suggestion was 10,000IU D to 100mcg K2. I tried going for a walk, but my hip muscles burned, which told me that I wasn't walking properly. So I puttered around the house while Chris went to feed the cats and hang the clock in the chapel.

The more I puttered, the easier it was. Even sitting became possible in small doses. However I could not clean the company house and apartment like I had planned. I held the chillow to my back and tried different locations where I might lean against it. But everything was either too high or too low.

Michelle texted me things to try. I called Faye to see how her yard sale went. I made and ate breakfast. I went for another walk, making it all around the block. I planted two basil plants that we got at the grocery store. I found the elephant watering can! As usual, it was in a place I had checked several times before. I called Beverly and she told me about her husband having a stroke. Yikes!

I measured the tower garden, then sewed a tube of mosquito netting to go over it. I realized afterward that more ease would have been better. Then I mended the colonel's pants with a remnant of dress fabric. William called to talk about the yard sale.

Chris cooked three fish for me. Then he made rice. But before the rice was finished, Diane came over to walk (at my invitation). We walked a large loop, going from here to the rv park. When we got back, I told her about the goat cheese and she bought everything I had left (5oz).

I ate some rice with fish juice. I sat on a wooden stool and read some e-mail. I walked to the post office, but there was no mail. I looked into cooking tumbleweed, but I wasn't sure that what I picked was exactly what they were talking about. I listened to a video about ibonds. They guarantee a rate of return equal to the rate of inflation as assessed every 6 months. I posted to my blog for yesterday. I made tea and we watched TV. I was in almost constant motion because I couldn't get comfortable no matter where I sat or stood. It was kind of a relief when the episodes were over. I shut down my phone and computer and went to bed.

Brian bought some goat cheese

Friday

I watered the plants without the elephant watering can. I put a large cat dropping in a mesh bag and laid it in the garden box out back to discourage critters. I finished the Highwire while Chris was at the office, and ordered mosquito netting from Joanns for pickup.

I went to the company house to strip the beds. But since some of the keys were still gone, I thought the men might be coming back, so I left. I gave a gallon of spiked water to the three trees at the end of the street (apple, pear, lilac). I also took two cuttings of each and put them in water. Then I went to the colonel's house to tend the cats. I also scrubbed the bottom of the oven and brought in a package from the front doorstep. The grill had blown over but I could not pick it up.

I went to the garden, arriving just as Jenni did. I cut a peony blossom. I watered here and there. I spread some cat droppings. I harvested some kale leaves. We looked at the colonel's plot. It was full of weeds and parsley, probably from last year. I dug up some plants and put in some sprouted potatoes.

I went home. Brian had come to visit and was blocking my space. I went inside and put down all I was carrying, including the young tumbleweed I wanted to cook up. Since Brian has a trailer, I asked if we could go to the landfill to find a bookcase for the swap shop. I made and ate breakfast while he ran some errands and came back. I got in and we went to the landfill. There was a huge mass of metal objects, but they had been pushed aside and were so damaged. We also looked in the wood area, but found nothing suitable. He dropped me off at my house. I offered him some goat cheese. After trying it, he said he would be a regular customer if he still lived here. He bought a carton to take back to his RV

I read some e-mail, and then we packed for Tooele. We stopped by the post office and picked up a check and a Swanson's order. We also stopped at the colonel's house to pick up the grill and put it back together.

We listened to the last of a book on CD while driving, then shopped at Luckey's, Melanies and Joanns. Joanns did not have the mosquito netting I ordered, so I bought a different kind, which was not as wide and cost more. Sigh. But my plants need the protection now. Then we concluded our shopping with Macey's and went home, listening to a new book on CD.

I had a bite to eat. I put on a bathing suit and went to the pool. Jenni and I swam for 45 minutes, then got out, dried off, checked out the sauna, and went home. I changed into dry clothes. I posted to my blog. I made tea and we watched three episodes of Cheers. I watched a short video where a man talked about the increasing amount of aluminum in the rain and soil. I read e-mail until 11:40, then retired for the evening.

Massage and Swap Shop

Thursday

I got up at 7:30, hearing my alarm ring in the other room. I brushed, swished and watered the plants. I took supplements on the usual morning schedule. I took care of the cats. They had not eaten their wet food. But that pate stuff looked pretty awful to me. I gave them a different kind today. When it came time to play, they were more interested in watching the men that were digging in the yard. I don't know what that was about.

Then I went to the garden, to water things and generally check to make sure the irrigation system hasn't sprung a leak. No new gopher damage. Maybe the cat litter is working.

When I got home, I ordered the solar panel inverter. I looked at nettings from various sources. Joanns had a good price. At 11, I made and ate breakfast. Jenni moved our departure time from noon to 12:30. I ran to the library to get another book on CD, and the next season of Cheers. Then I ran to the swap shop to unlock it for Anca and take a pic of books. When I got home, I posted the swap shop hours to the Dugway page.

Jenni arrived at 12:30. I had a bottle of hibiscus tea and my knee pillow. We went to Tooele. She stopped at the post office and got a box. She also stopped at her doctor's office but they were closed for renovation. Then we went to the spa.

We were ushured in to an ornated room and given flavored water to drink. After initialing our original paperwork, we went into a bathroom to change into robes. When I came out, I looked around until my masseuse found me. We had a nice chat about pressure and technique, etc. Then I got under the sheets and the massage began. It was very relaxing. She told me later that I had a really big knot on my left shoulder, and I might be sore later from her efforts to break it up.

The host brought us a snack and bottles of water. After eating and paying, we went to WalMart. There wasn't much time, but Jenni shopped quickly. She checked out and we got in her car. She took a bunch of back roads. I wondered if it really was any quicker. Finally we arrived at the main road and drove to base. I was worried that we wouldn't be back in time for me to relieve Anca at the swap shop. In fact, Retreat played just as we checked our ID's at the front gate and we had to wait until it was over. Then Jenni dropped me off at the swap shop. I spoke to Anca, and she left with her kids. I alphabetized books for an hour and a half, then read a book until 7.

Since it wasn't raining, I walked home. Chris greeted me. I ate the rest of breakfast and then supper. I jotted notes for my blog. I made tea. We watched the last three episodes of Gomer Pyle. I started listening to The Highwire. Dr. Craig talked about all the problems with the trial that the FDA is using to recommend a third shot to kids. 2/3 of the kids who got two doses did not get a third dose but there is no mention of why they didn't. The results are based on 12 kids out of >4000 enrolled. More of the 12 who got covid were in the placebo group than in the vaccinated group, thus their conclusion that it must work. These results are not statistically significant. Since we don't know what happened to the 3000 whose results are not reported, there is no safety conclusion. Followup was only 6 weeks, not the 6 months that the FDA originally asked for. Vaccination reduces immunity for up to 2 weeks after the shot while it takes effect. The trial results did not include how many cases occurred during that time frame.

I paused the episode and went to bed.

Diesel oil shortage

Wednesday

I woke up to have a coffee morning. After the usual preparations and exercises, I went to the colonel's house to mind the cats. They hadn't eaten their wet food, but the dry food was nearly gone. Men were working in the yard and across the street.

I went to the garden to water and shove cat litter in a gopher hole. I went home and finished coffee morning. Just at the end, Jenni dropped by, unannounced. She brought me a bag of flowerbed edging. After she left, I cleaned the bathrooms and kitchen. Chris came home for lunch. I washed dishes and utensils.

After vacuuming, I read e-mail. I wanted to go walking, but neither Jenni nor Diane was available. At 4:30, I opened the chapel as Michelle requested. She had mentioned meeting people at the chapel to play piano. But then she took down the chapel clock and carried it home to fix. I was left with a boy, his mom, and his piano teacher. He played some songs, and we chose some hymns and discussed the order of service. He will start in July.

When I got home, I potted two tomato plants. I watered and fertilized the lawn. I listened to a podcast about the lack of diesel oil additives. Only two companies produce all the engine oil additives and they are out. They estimate it will take a year to come back on line. Without diesel oil, all diesel vehicles will be out of commission. That includes postal trucks, 18-wheelers, Amazon trucks, railway engines and ships.

I paused it to water my tower garden, again. Chris came home from Mass. I changed into my suit and went to the pool. The water wasn't too cold, but with the wind blowing, it was chilly. I swam laps with Jenni. Then we hit the sauna in order to warm up. No one chased us out at 8 and we lost track of time. When I checked, it was 8:15. We turned off the lights and looked around the gym. But it was empty. Then Tiffany spotted us and let us out the front door. I apologized for being there after hours.

I went home and changed into dry clothes. I was sitting at my laptop when Michelle stopped by with the clock. She had fixed it and wanted me to let her into the chapel, but I was too tired from swimming laps at the pool.

I brought some plants in from the wind. I worked on my blog for today and yesterday. After posting for yesterday, I made tea and we watched two episodes of Gomer Pyle. Then Chris looked up some of the actresses for me. But they weren't in anything I had seen before.

I listened to more about engine oil. He said to stock up on diesel 15w-40 oil. Also, stock up on everything else because there won't be any deliveries to stores. Postal deliveries and Amazon deliveries will come to a halt as well, probably sometime in August.

On the phone again

Tuesday

When I woke up, I checked and there were no mice in the bucket. The whey I put out was still there. The trap in the hole by the curb had a gopher in it. I watered the plants. I read e-mail until the temp warmed up, then went to the colonel's house. In his front yard, men were digging up the bushes along the driveway. I cared for the cats, and scrubbed at the oven. I found a cat toy on a pole, and played with the cats. Then I went to the garden. I added nitrogen, pulled weeds, watered the peony and went home. I dug up gopher mounds, and watered the holes. caught another gopher in the same trap. It didn't die right away.

I made and ate breakfast and read e-mail. Chris came home late for lunch. He had been to the post office and had a box of new phone and a package with a new sim card for the refurbished phone Chris inserted the sim card, then I used his phone to call the carrier, who said the refurbished phone should be just fine. He activated my phone, said to turn it off for a few minutes, and then back on. After the call, I tried to roll the phone numbers over to the new phone. Chris left. The phone said it wasn't activated. After looking at Youtube, I downloaded a vcard file to my laptop and moved it to the new phone, but not in the right folder.

I went to play with Saronna. She had her kids doing 'sibling time', which meant that the older ones watched the younger ones. We played out in the front yard. We probably did more talking than playing.

Afterward, I did not see Jenni or Diane at the school. I went home. I looked up how to get the sim card from my old phone to my new one. Then I did it. It fit perfectly, and it was already activated, which means I never had to go without phone service! I had to look up how to open files on my phone. I opened the vcard file and there were all my contacts!

Then it was 5 and the quilt guild in Huntsville started their meeting on Zoom. I watched until after 6, which is when the Dugway community meeting started. I signed out of Zoom and headed over. I sat with Chris and mostly listened. The discussion was about coming up with free activities for the community. Starting an FRG was mentioned. The CSM said it was usually run by the ranking commander's wife. Chris whispered in my ear “That would be you”. I shushed him. At the end, they set the next meeting for the third Tuesday in July. Great. Another conflict with the quilt guild. Sigh.

I chatted with people afterwards. Then Jenni and I went to our cars. I got in another conversation while Jenni went home to eat the pizza her husband picked up. Then we walked around the school block. By the time I got home it was 8:30. I ate some leftover stew beef. Michelle showed up with a dozen eggs. I paid her and she stayed to talk to Chris about stuff she is doing for the post.

When she left, I made tea. There was only time to watch one episode of Gomer Pyle. Then I posted to my blog. I intended to read from my ILL book, but started reading a really long article online, and went to bed when I finished it.

Straw is cheaper, grass is free...

Monday

I got up around 8. I brushed, swished and watered the plants. Then I went to the chapel to get my glue gun. Somewhere on the way back, some keys fell off my key ring and I had to go searching the grass to find them.

Then I went to the colonel's house. There was something outside beeping, and also something in the garage beeping. I refreshed the food and water for the cats. I scrubbed at the floor of the oven (with little luck). I scooped waste from the litter boxes and saved it for my gophers. I swept the kitchen floor. I sat down to play with the cats, but they were uninterested.

So I went to the garden. I used the silage in the bucket to feed the plants and peonies. I scattered cat droppings to discourage the gophers. Mindy stopped to talk, and we discussed digging up the peonies after they bloom.

When I got home, Chris was on his computer. How unusual. Not! I did something outside, then got out my supplements and made up two weeks worth of daily doses. I marked some for refill. Then I made and ate breakfast and read e-mail. I also put on my suit for a little sunbathing.

About 3:30 I went outside to find ways to annoy gophers as much as they annoy me. I watered their holes with a hose. One popped up and ran across the street. I put a trap in his hole in case he comes back (which he did during the night). I dug a hole where the grass doesn't grow. I didn't see any tunnels, but when I filled it completely with water, the dam burst and there was the tunnel. I shoved as much dirt in as possible, then filled in the hole. I filled a bucket with water and leaned a board up against it to make a mouse trap.

I planted garlic that I sprouted, underneath the dining room window. That was to discourage gophers. I ate supper. Mindy came by with a bale of hay. We had a nice long chat. After she left, I posted to my blog. I made tea and we watched four episodes of Gomer Pyle.

I read a book until I got very sleepy, then went to bed. Chris followed soon after.

Sprouting seeds with teabags

Sunday

I got up at 8, having slept well. The day was calm and bright. After the usual ablutions, I whipped up a batch of seed crackers for church. I watered the plants. I went to the company house to check on Meredith's work. I found what looked like mouse dirt, and didn't know if she missed it, or mice had done it last night. Also, there were lots of mop marks on the floor. Probably because the mop water wasn't changed often enough. I wiped up what I could, then locked up and returned the key to its box.

I went up to Colonel's Hill to feed and water the cats. The weather was still calm and nothing was out of place. The cats did not want to play, so I left early for the garden. I watered the peony bush, and fertilized the few surviving plants. I was please to see the white potatoes showing up in the garden box, peeking through the woodchips. I scattered litter box 'treasures' near gopher activity.

When I got home, Chris had turned off the oven. I filled some gopher holes in the front yard. I read e-mail and listened to a doctor talk about the 'blood clots' embalmers are pulling out of vaccinated corpses. These turn out to be synthetic structures that feed on blood cells to propagate. Also Dr. Martin showed the timeline for Monkeypox that was forecasted a year ago, and it is right on schedule. Next we will hear that it was engineered in a lab and is vaccine-resistant. The ultimate goal is not to push vaccination, but genetic modification.

I made and ate breakfast, then got dressed for church. I went to chapel, and found the pianist, Allison, was waiting. We talked about the order of service. Jenni and Rick came, and so did Diane and her son (who is one of Allison's students). Our first two hymns went well, but the third one was in 2/2 and we were not counting it the same way. Then the guest pastor talked about the 9th chapter of John. We did a closing hymn, and then I chatted with the pianist as everyone had snack and left. I took my trombone, leftover seed crackers, locked up the chapel, and went home.

I read e-mail until Jenni texted Chris that we were walking at 3:30. I changed clothes, and went to the school. It was windy and a little chilly. I walked with Diane and Jenni, and then Gracie joined us. Afterward, I went to the gym. I talked to Mickie, who gave me a bean plant. I did my usual leg workout. For the arm workout, a man named Don showed me how to use the equipment. On the way out, I talked to Mickie again.

I went home, and read e-mail. I moved netting from the carrot bag to the tower garden. I started a teabag garden. I heated and ate the rest of the kitchari. I looked at solar fans for the greenhouse. Mike Adams said NASA reported that solar radiation spikes as the magnetic poles prepare to switch places could be the 6th extinction. Elites are preparing underground hideouts.

I jotted notes for my blog. I posted for yesterday, then heated tea. We watched the last two episodes of Bureau of Magical Things. Then we finished up with two episodes of Gomer Pyle. We both stayed up reading on our laptops. I quit and went to bed first. He came along later. Sadly, I hadn't fallen asleep yet, and I don't know why.

Kitchari

Saturday

I got up at 8. The weather was calm and sunny. It felt good. But as I did the usual things, the wind blew up again. I went to the company house and put the sheets in the washer. Then I went to the colonel's house to attend to the cats. I also had to move the garbage bins up to the garage to hopefully protect them from blowing away. The glass from the outdoor coffee table was on the lawn, unbroken. I put out cat food and water, and washed their bowls. I scooped the litter boxes, and scrubbed the oven. Then I sat for playtime. But only the orange cat wanted to play.

I went to the garden and watered the peonies and checked on my wind-burned plants. Sigh. Finally I went home. Chris gave me a coconut oil massage. I took a shower and got dressed. I went back to the company house to move the sheets to the dryer and put the towels in the washer.

When I got home, I looked in my cabinets for the ingredients for kitchari. It is supposed to be easy to digest and I needed that after last night I rinsed the rice and beans and put them on the stove to cook. But there was no time to eat.

I put cleaning stuff in my car. I went to clean the company house. Meredith was 15 minutes late. She started in the back with the bathrooms and I worked in the kitchen. We dressed the beds when the sheets were dry. I folded the towels and put them in the closet. At 1:30 I had to leave her to finish (sweeping and mopping) by herself. I went home, had a bite to eat, but the kitchari wasn't done. I ate an apple, then Chris helped me take my sewing machines to the chapel.

After he left, I set them up and unpacked the materials. Diane showed up and I helped her make a magnetic wrist band. We also chatted a lot. Then as she was leaving, Meredith arrived with her mother. She brought my mops which I put in my car. There was also a box of batting which I accepted. We chatted for some time in the parking lot, about raising chickens. Then I went back to the chapel to sweep all the dead moths out of the front entrance. I packed up my sewing machines and moved them to the car. Then I pulled weeds from the stone beds around the chapel. I didn't quite finish before my back told me to quit.

I came home and unlocked my trunk. Chris moved the sewing machines from the car to the front hall. I ate from the pot of kitchari. I checked e-mail. I watered some parts of the lawn. I filled in some gopher holes. Then I listened to the bonus part of episode 11 (replay). As it played, I wondered what I was going to make for snacks for after church.

I posted to my blog and made tea. We watched four episodes of The Bureau of Magical Things. I stayed up reading from a book. Then I put my laptop to sleep and went to bed.

Are there real people at Verizon?

Friday

I got up around 7:45 feeling better. Chris was baking a breakfast casserole for the community meetup. I took probiotics and watered the plants, feeding them a little bit of homemade leaf fertilizer. I listened to episode 12: Mary Queen of Scotts was framed. Plant Longevity spinach - you can eat it forever. No need to replant. I paused it and went to the colonel's house to feed the cats. It was very windy out and I had to rescue the big garbage containers. After scooping the littler boxes, I sat to cuddle with the kitties. Initially they were wanting attention, but then wandered off. So I left.

I stopped at the garden to give the plants some leaf fertilizer. They were still looking burnt. Then I went home. I put cat litter in gopher holes and watered it in. It was like watering a cave. One trap had caught a gopher so I shook it out and put the trap in a different hole.

Jenni stopped by. We chatted, then she left for the community breakfast. Chris came back from the office to get the casserole. Then we went to the community breakfast. Due to the wind, it had been moved from the pavillion to the ACS building. The few people there helped put out the food. The CSM showed up with a lot of food. Then she and her kids disappeared. About 10 people showed up. Jenni called her husband and he came over. We all had nice chats. Then the CSM came back to feed her kids and get her stuff.

The internet is out at my Dad's house, so when we got home, I called Verizon on Chris' phone, and got the digital assistant. I waited for a long time to get a real person. Keeping the phone on, we headed out to Tooele. We had to wait 20 min or so for the road to be resurfaced. When we got to the pass, we lost the signal so I never did talk to a person. In Tooele, we shopped, the came back. We waited again, for even longer. When we finally got to base, we stopped at the post office. I got stuff from the swap shop that was mentioned this morning.

I called Verizon again and again, finally left Patrick's number as the call back number. I ate a papaya. Chris cooked mushrooms for me. I ate them with the rice and cheese dish from this morning. But soon my stomach hurt, like last night. I took some enzymes, but they didn't help.

The wind broke off a piece of rosemary. Chris put it in some dirt to try to root it. I sat with a heating pad on my stomach and tried to read a book.. I wrote to my blog and posted it. I made tea and we watched four episodes of Bureau of Magical Things. Then he went to bed and I stayed up to read e-mail, hoping my stomach would resolve the discomfort. But finally I had to go to bed still not feeling right. Was it the papaya?

A waste of $300?

Thursday

I got up around 7:15. Chris hadn't left yet. I started my day with the usual things. I turned off the crock pot. The whey was brown and no cheese had formed. After Chris left, I plugged my laptop into the modem. I resumed listening to episode 11 of Unbreakable: Dr. Hooker: There are 20 different targets that could have been chosen for the shot, but they chose the spike protein which is the most toxic one. Why? And why did ALL the companies choose that same one?

I used Chris' phone to call Consumer Cellular to ask for a sim card adapter. However, the woman asked for the IME number of the new phone and her system said it probably wouldn't work with the new network and Samsung stopped doing updates on their older phones (which means I wasted $300 buying a refurbished one from Samsung). I was in tears. Why didn't the sales rep I talked to at the time tell me that this was going to happen? So she said I was being given $80 towards a new phone. I could buy the $160 phone and get a discount, or the $73 phone for free. I wanted to talk to Chris first, but she said the system would cancel the discount after we hung up because it now thinks I have the $300 phone (which is not eligible I guess). So I picked the free phone, even though it has a lower end camera than the one I have been using for 5 years.

I heated a gallon of goat milk on the stove, stirring occasionally. I posted to Facebook that the swap shop would be open from 5:30 to 7. Jenni messaged me that our massage appointment is next week, not this afternoon. I decided not to change the swap shop hours. Saronna needed a gallon of milk, so at 11 I turned the stove off and went to the commissary. Then I took three empty milk bottles to Michelle's house to drop off. She was on the phone, but that was good. I went over to Saronna's house with the milk. Her whole family was sick except for her husband. She talked to me outside for awhile.

When I got home, I started making breakfast. I ate while watching The Highwire. Michelle came by, so I invited her in. She talked and talked so I hinted that I was still eating breakfast and making goat cheese. She talked to me as I separated curds from the whey and put them in the fridge. I gave Michelle some cheese to eat. We talked until she went to an appointment.

I went back to eating breakfast and watching. Mass Formation: no amount of evidence can sway the participants from the collective belief. They have an absurd willingness to sacrifice everything: their health, their wealth, the future of their children, the lives of their children in order to belong to that mentally intoxicating collective experience.

At 3:30 I paused it. I went walking with Diane and Jenni. Then I went to the garden and watered the sweet potatoes. I fertilized them with whey from the crockpot. The tomato leaves were brown and crispy. I also watered a nearby peony bush. I brought the tomato cages home.

Just as I backed into the driveway, Michelle drove up and asked me to get in her car. We went to the chapel. She found a ladder in the janitor's closet and set it under the large clock. She brought it down and we examined the batteries. I was thirsty so we went to my house where I got some iced hibiscus tea. Then we went to Michelle's house for batteries. Back to the chapel where we discovered that the minute hand on the clock was hanging loosely, so Michelle hung it up and put the ladder back, and took me home. We spoke in her car, then I went in the house.

I listened to more of episode 11, then it vanished at 6. I read other things for a bit, then episode 12 showed up. I put that on. I washed the big pot from cheese-making. I put a tomato cage out to support the tomato in the back because of the wind. I placed two gopher traps. I sliced up some citrus rind and found some gopher holes to put it in. I saw Chris come home.

When I went inside, there was a pizza on the stove. I had a bite to eat, then listened to more of episode 12. I felt like there was something stuck in my throat, so I drank some diluted vinegar. It didn't help. I posted to the Dugway Facebook page that I had goat cheese and whey for sale. When Chris was done eating, I heated tea, and we watched four episodes of Bureau of Magical Things. I listened to more of episode 12. My stomach was having a terrible time with something, so it was late before I had any peace and got to bed.

My phone is speechless

Wednesday

I woke up early to use the bathroom. Then I remembered the whey was still in the crock pot. I checked on it and went back to bed. I covered my eyes with a towel and tried to go back to sleep. I may have dozed off.

I got up about 7:45. I started the water for coffee. I watered the plants on the windowsill. I turned on my phone and saw a message from David that came in last night. I tried to answer it, but my phone would not connect to the network. I rebooted it, but that didn't help. Sigh. I e-mailed Chris that my phone wasn't working. I answered David on Facebook.

I did my exercises while listening to episode 10 of Unbreakable. To make an extended life lithium battery means the lithium miners will have a shortened life of 35 years. Prayer can change your DNA.

I paused it and proceeded with coffee morning, reflecting on not having phone service: I can't call out, but 'they' can't track me or send me messages either. I cleaned the kitchen and then the bathrooms. I sent Jenni a message on Facebook. I read e-mail. I drove to the school to walk with Jenni. As we were walking past the dog park, Diane drove up. She parked and walked with us. When we got back around, Jenni showed Diane what she'd done with the rocks. I spoke to Meredith who was cleaning for Jenni. Then I took Diane to her car.

I went out the front gate to the VCC. A lady there had advertised pepper and tomato plants on Facebook and I ordered three. I paid her. She and I carried them to my car. I thanked her and went to the gate to sign in.

I planted the big tomato in a trench in the flowerbed. I planted another in the garden box. I flattened some gopher mounds. Using water, I flushed one into a trap. Chris came home and emptied that one. I flushed another one until it dug a hole 10 inches away to get out. I smacked it with a trowel. Sad. I flushed a third one out and chased it around the yard with the hose. Finally I picked it up with my hand and put it in the trap. Sigh. Not how I imagined it going. I did some raking.

I listened to more of episode #10. I put on my suit, grabbed a sweet potato plant, and got in my car. Chris came back from Mass. I headed to the pool. I swam with Jenni in the shallow end because it was not so cold. Then we sat in the sauna for half an hour. Diane did not show up, so I took the plant home again.

I visited the garden briefly, then came home and changed clothes. I made tea. I got my blog post written. Chris tried to switch the sim card from the old phone to the new phone, but it didn't fit. We watched four episodes of Bureau of Magical Things. That ended about 10. I looked up some sim card videos and discovered that I need either new sim card or an adapter. I checked e-mail and then went to bed.

Whey for the win!

Tuesday

I woke up ruminating and suddenly remembered the whey was still in the crock pot. I got up to check. It still hadn't reduced much. Sigh. I watered the plants and took supplements.

I read a conversation between engineers at Google and their AI. They talked about emotions, religion and sentience. It wants to meet Johnny 5 from Short Circuit. Chris came home from Army Birthday celebration to take a shower and make coffee. I turned the router on for him. I posted to my blog for yesterday.

I planted garlic where gophers tend to dig. I saw one that ran behind the iris bed. He kept coming out again so I put a gopher trap in his path but he ran over it without triggering it. I kept chasing him back and he kept coming out again, never tripping the trap though he was right on top of it. I took his picture and sent it to Chris.

I saw another one start digging a hole. So I went to the back yard for the other trap and it had a gopher in it! I emptied that one and put the trap in the front yard. Jenni called. I listened to her for quite some time. I put her on speakerphone and started making breakfast. Then Chris came home for lunch. I ate breakfast while listening to a podcast from 2007 on GMO's.

I raked mounds, and transplanted lettuce and collard greens. I set a gopher trap in the front yard. I made bread for Chris using whey for the liquid. I planted melon sprouts.

I put on my shoes for walking. The elephant watering can showed up so I used it in zone 2. I gave Jenni my Drop Acid book. Then we went walking with Diane. Then I went to the garden to water and fertilize. The tomatoes looked shocked from the cold last night. Also I seeded gopher tunnels with cat bedding. I opened the sheds to look for a bee box, but did not find one. Then I went into the greenhouse. It was really hot in there. I looked through the stacks of 5 gallon buckets. I found two cooked mice and one live one. Jenni showed up and helped evict.

I went home to have a glass of iced tea. I ate a grapefruit while watching Mike Adams look at 'blood clots' under a high-powered microscope. I saw the finished loaf of bread and it was really tall! I made hot tea and posted to my blog. We watched one episode of Gomer Pyle and three episodes of Bureau of Magical Things. Chris went to bed and I stayed up to read a book.

Interlibrary loan starts now

Monday

I got up after 8. It was raining, but the strong winds had died down. I took supplements, watered the indoor plants, and read e-mail. I checked the whey in the crock pot. I went to the colonel's house to feed the cats and pick up their waste. I brought my laser pointer, but the cats were not interested. They weren't much interested in cuddles, either. Then I played the piano and they disappeared. So I left.

I stopped at the garden to make sure my plants were ok. Because it was raining, I just looked through the fence, then got back in my car. When I got home, I worked on my blog post.

I read e-mail, then made and ate breakfast. I finished the unwatched episodes of Unbreakable. Melissa texted that the interlibrary loan books had come in. I fertilized some grass. I blended up some jalapenos and poured it into gopher holes. I made some more pepper juice and went to the garden to spread it and the used cat litter.

Then I went to the library to pick up the books. The staff was having a meeting so they just handed me the books. I confirmed that they were due in 6 weeks and I left. I listened to an interview, during which Chris came home from work. Casey came by with 2 gallons of goat milk. I had headphones on, and did not know he was coming, so I didn't pay him or give him the previous three jars.

I made tea. We watched four episodes of Gomer Pyle. Chris went to bed. I read parts of one book, realized I had read it before, and picked up another one. Sometime after 11, I put it down, turned off the router and went to bed (forgetting to post to my blog).

A piano player!

Sunday

I woke up and realized that I hadn't shut off the hose at the garden, meaning that when the timer turned on, all the water would come out the short hose instead of the drip hoses. So I got dressed and went to remedy that. I put a nozzle on the end of the short hose in case I forget again to shut it off at the splitter. I checked on the tomatoes and peppers and sweet potatoes. Everything else has disappeared.

From there I went to the colonel's house. I took care of the cats and played with them a little - all they would allow. It took about half an hour. I cleaned up the vinegar I left in the oven. The burnt stuff still didn't come off.

When I got home, I used the cat litter to scent gopher holes. I spread mounds and soaked tunnels. I sprayed the window of the sewing room and hoards of moths flew out. Sigh. I took a video of moths coming out of corner trim. I cut it down to the best parts and posted it on Facebook. I started to read e-mail and Chris brought me a problem from the credit card company, I called the vendor in question and got it straightened out.

I made and ate breakfast. I got dressed and went to the chapel. No one was there. The largest moth I have ever seen was sitting right on the split between the double doors. I flicked it away and unlocked the chapel. I walked in, saw the communion cups from last week and put them away. I took my trombone to the front and Michelle arrived with the school librarian who plays piano. We chatted and Diane showed up followed by Rick and Jenni.

We had just decided to have a hymn sing, when the guest pastor arrived. He chatted to Michelle about a trip to Israel while I met with the pianist to choose hymns. Then we sang three songs that she knew, and Pastor Chris preached from the book of John. He kept looking at the clock so I finally mentioned that the clock was broken. After the sermon, he assigned us readings from Hebrews and one other book. Then we sang one last hymn, and chatted and had cheese squares for snack.

I went home and ate fruit. I read e-mail. A lady came to pick up the pillow I made yesterday but said her dad would pay later. I went to the gym to work out with Michelle. Later we sat in the sauna with Heather talking about things we can do to make Dugway more resilient. I overheated and took a cold shower. We talked in the changing room, then went home.

I changed from my wet suit into a nightgown. Chris steamed broccoli. I heated ground beef. David came by with the payment for the pillow. I read e-mail and listened to interviews. I worked on my blog post, and heated whey in the crock pot.

I made tea, then we watched four episodes of Gomer Pyle. I watched episode 3 of Unbreakable. 3500 L-glutamine is a therapeutic dose. It was after midnight when I went to bed because I wanted to see as much as possible before they took it down.

Like an egg hunt

Saturday

Chris' alarm went off at 6:30. Having woken up often during the night, I did not feel like getting up. But I did. I did a few of the usual things, then took a long, hot shower. For some reason, after having hot flashes all night, I was cold. That left me only a few minutes to get dressed, fill a water bottle, grab a bucket and drive to Michelle's house.

I was late and thought they'd all be waiting on me, but actually I was the first, by seconds, and then Diane and Jenni arrived. Diane had empty buckets from the green house, and the rest of us brought something to put rocks in. We parsed the containers between Diane's car and Michelle's car. Then we headed out in line. Michelle spoke passionately to me about what happened to her this past week. Then, she stopped the car when her GPS told her she had to get out and walk. She and Diane spoke, then we turned onto a bumpy side road. Finally, in the middle of nowhere, Michelle's GPS announced that we had arrived. Yeah, right. We kept going, but eventually the roads on the GPS disappeared. So we let Diane take the lead. After a little backtracking, we found the right road and appeared at the quarry.

It was much smaller than what I envisioned. A family was already there, chipping rock with a … chipper. We each grabbed a bucket and started to pick up rocks. It felt like an egg hunt. When Diane went back for a bucket from the second stack, she discovered a mouse hidden between the two buckets. She exclaimed as it ran off and she threw out the nesting material. She pulled a few more buckets, but found nothing. However, when she got to the last one, there was a family of mice. We all shrieked and stepped back. She kicked the bucket and the mice went flying, one went into her car. We chased it out. Instead of dispersing, the mice hung around, evidently looking for their nest.

When we finished picking up cute red rocks, we drove back to the base, and Michelle's house. Jamie was there working on the flowerbed. She hosed off our buckets of rocks while we told her the story of the mice. We all chatted for a bit, then took our rocks home. Chris was home waiting for me. I watered my plants, getting a faceful of moths when I walked through the front door. Chris banged on the storm door facings, and moths flew out. Have they been pupating there? I thought he got them all, but a few minutes later, I opened the door and got another flock of moths in my face.

After watering the plants, and emptying the leaf mold tea (which was growing larvae of some kind), I went to Colonel's Hill to feed and water the cats. I collected their litter box solids, and tried scrubbing the bottom of the oven. Only a little came off, so I covered the area with a paper towel soaked in vinegar. I let it sit while I played with the cats, then scrubbed some more. I decided it leave it overnight.

I locked the house and came home. Chris gave me a coconut oil massage. He took a shower and then I did. I made breakfast and heard Michelle come over. She told Chris about her experiences this week. She left just as I finished eating breakfast. I opened the coconut we bought at the store. Sadly, it was rotten inside as so many of them are.

I watched gardening videos, then ironed a pillow panel and made an envelop backing for it. It took a lot of time to get the hand-embroidered panel to lay flat. I e-mailed the owner that it was ready. Chris cooked ground beef. I ate supper, and looked up uses for whey: simmer in crock pot for 12-24 hours, boil until ricotta curds form, make a starter culture, fertilize plants, bake in bread, add to compost, feed cats.

I put on a bathing suit and went to the pool. I participated in water aerobics with Jenni and Emily. About 7:50, I got out and went to the garden. I watered here and there and pulled weeds, then went home.

Chris cooked bacon. I used some to make cheese sticks for tomorrow. I made tea and we watched four episodes of Gomer Pyle. We dressed the bed with clean sheets. I read e-mail for an hour or so, then went to bed.

Gassing Gophers

Friday

I woke up at 8:30, amazed to have slept through the night. I wondered if it was all the celery I have been eating. Chris was already up. I got up to take probiotics, brush and swish. I watered the plants, then went to the colonel's house to feed his cats and clean their litter box. I sat with them a little bit, but they weren't that interested.

When I got home, I dug up gopher mounds and put cat litter in. I set the traps and used a gopher gasser. The smoke went down the hole, but then started to back up. He must have smelled it and blocked off the tunnel. I also filled the rest of the garden box beside the compost pile. I watered parts of the lawn. It was the wrong time of day, but the evenings get so busy.

I came in to take the last round of the morning supplements and read e-mail. I had a bunch of messages on my phone. I worked on my blog post. I listened to an interview with Dr. Lustig:: In our society, we don't know the difference between happiness and pleasure. Multi-tasking promotes unhappiness and lowers seratonin. Tryptophan is the rarest amino acid in our diet. Omega-3's are in fish, too, and protect neurons. Sugar lowers seratonin. Before you address health care reform, you have to address heath reform, and before that, diet reform.

I made and ate breakfast. Chris put ice packs in the cooler and we went to Tooele. We shopped at the usual places, plus Joanns for a pillow form, and Cal Ranch for a gas can. When we got home, about 5, we unpacked the food.

I ate goat cheese and celery with avocado dip for supper. I also ate half a papaya (which though small, cost $6!) I saved the seeds to bait gopher traps. At 6:30, I left the gophers to go open the swap shop for Saronna and her family. I talked to her husband about getting bees for the base. I alphabetized some of the paperbacks. Then at 7 I went home to get dressed for water aerobics.

I am not sure when I got in the pool. The water was like bathwater (still 100 degrees outside at 7pm). I swam with Jenni and Emily using kickboards. I didn't care for them, but Jenni liked them. We got kicked out at 8. I went to the garden to check and to water. Then I went home.

I changed into my nightgown. I made tea and worked on my blog post. Jenni came by to get the key to the swap shop so she could get a pair of shoes and lock up. Before she drove off, Michelle came over with a bag of organic apples. I didn't have the heart to tell her that we found some at Macey's.

We settled in to watch Gomer Pyle. I had to stop and answer texts. I read some e-mail, and then went to bed, late.

Swap shop violates community standards?

Thursday

I got up around 7:45. I started my day as usual. I watered the plants and read e-mail. There were a bunch of big moths hiding between the front door and the storm door. I don't know where they are coming from. I took bromelain AND pepsin. That turned out to be too much and I had to eat a piece of cheese to stop the burning. I listened to a podcast on how to measure global warming, and whether it is really a man-made crisis or due to solar activity.

I made and ate breakfast while watching The Highwire. Chris came home for lunch with the mail. I posted about the swap shop opening at 3 on Facebook but Facebook told me it violated their community standards involving alcohol. ???? So I asked Chris to post it on the Dugway Digital Garrison app. I appealed to Facebook and they changed their mind.

At 3 I walked to the swap shop to unlock it. I visited with Jenni who agreed to mind it this afternoon. A lady arrived right as we opened. She had stuff to drop off and looked for more. I walked home, then drove to the gym and walked with Diane. Then I went to the library to get a book. I talked to Melissa about chickens since she lives next door and has dogs. After the 5pm playing of Retreat, I went home, ate some tomatoes, and read e-mail.

I went back to the swap shop at 7 to lock up. Jenni said it had been very busy and lots of stuff was taken. We chatted and locked the door. I went to the garden to water and fertilize. I laid a drip hose over the box, hoping that would help keep it moist even if I forget to water it one day. I planted some mint where a gopher had dug up dirt. I could not find a tunnel.

When I got home, I set some traps and flattened every mound I saw. I smoked a tunnel that was obvious. Too obvious? I made tea and filled a small bowl with blueberries and cherries. I cropped pictures until Chris was ready to watch. Then we saw the last three episodes of Cheers and the first one of Gomer Pyle. I worked on my blog post and read e-mail until after 11:30. I paused what I was listening to, and went to bed.

Fire in the hole!

Wednesday

I woke up hearing Chris take a shower. I wrapped a towel around my eyes and went back to sleep. After he left, I got up. I watered all the plants and the worms. I am not certain there are any worms left, but I spritzed the bin anyway.

I got out my Wednesday routine sheet and swished. I did the exercises, meditated and tapped. I cleaned the bathrooms and kitchen. I took a shower and got dressed. I watered the lawn, filled the home garden box with compost and the contents of the worm bin. I didn't see any live worms. I flattened some gopher mounds and lit more gas sticks. I thought they would burn up, but I found them later, in the holes, intact. Did the fuse burn out?

I put garlic cloves in water in a plastic egg carton to sprout. I went walking with Diane. I went by Jenni's house to drop off some sprouted potatoes. Then I went to the library to get the next season of Gomer Pyle. After that, I went to the garden to water the plants in the box. I brought stuff to annoy gophers, but could not find the tunnels. I think they are getting smart and leaving the mounds away from the tunnel entrance.

When I got home, I planted seeds in the tower garden and fertilized the lawn with LAB. Then I checked e-mail. Jenni texted about water aerobics at 7. So after e-mail, I put 8 oz of goat cheese and muffins in containers. I put on Mom's suit, and went to the pool. I swam with Jenni and Heather for about 45 minutes. The water was warm but the wind made me chilly. I hated to get out. But I did.

I went home, changed clothes and put the cheese and muffins in a bag. I went over to Michelle's house. I gave the food to her husband and we talked about using gasoline to make gophers leave.

When I got home, I made tea. We watched four episodes of Cheers. Then I posted to my blog for yesterday. I listened to something until 11:30 or so, then went to bed.

The mower is ready to go!

Tuesday

I got up at 7:30. I watered everything, and took supplements. I read e-mail. I looked up pillow forms and found one that should be available at Joanns this Friday. I also looked at inverters but could not decide on one. I lit a gopher gasser in the back yard, then covered the hole.

I watched the bonus episode 7 of Unbreakable. Dr. Group talked about the benefits of supercharged C60; carbon nano-onions. And taking 600 units of Lugol's. Also, he used urotherapy to re-grow his gums. His dentist said he'd never seen gums re-grow before.

I made cheese sticks and seed crackers, Chris came home for lunch, I made and ate breakfast. I listened to more interviews.

I went to Saronna's house to play music at 2:30. We did a lot of talking, and by the time we were ready to play, her baby woke up. She tried putting him on her back and she was able to play one song with me. But the kids needed attention, so I packed up.

As I left, I checked my phone and saw a message from Jamie wanting to go to the swap shop. So I texted her back and drove over there and unlocked it. She dropped off a manual mower and looked around. We chatted a bit and then left. I asked her over to my house to look at the riding mower. She not only showed me how to run it, she also fixed the flat tire and was going to mow my lawn. It didn't really need mowing so I thanked her anyway.

I flattened gopher mounds. Some tunnels were so extensive that after I dug up the area, the ground was 3 to 6 inches lower. I saw new activity where I lit the gasser this morning. As I ate supper, I watched a video of Dr. Malone and Dr. Van Den Bossche, virologists and vaccinologists. They said our only hope of getting to herd immunity is to not vaccinate the children. Because kids have strong thymus glands, they are not at risk.

I put some stuff together and ran to the garden to do some planting and watering. I ran into Michelle's husband so we talked for awhile. I added sprouted white potatoes to the garden box and covered them with grass clippings and wood chips.

When I got home, I made tea and we watched four episodes of Cheers. Then I posted to my blog. Sometime after 11, I put my laptop to sleep and headed for bed.

Planting in the garden box

Monday

I woke up early and dozed off again, mostly ruminating. I got up about 8. I took some probiotics in water. I wrote up yesterday's notes. I looked at my 'new' sewing projects which are for other people. I washed up and got dressed in shorts. I fortified gallons of water and watered the plants. The wind was rising, so I put up my car windows. I unloaded the dishwasher.

I watched an interview with Dr. Michelle Perro: Children are immunologically different than adults. They have a robust innate immunity that adults don't have due to loss of thymus gland. Dr. Fauci is on record in 2004 saying natural immunity is better than vaccine-induced immunity. All of the DNA in our mitochondria come from our mothers. Take lumbrokinase for biofilms and oral cavitations, and spike protein-itis on an empty stomach. Take ivermectin with a fatty meal. Also lots of NAC, and zeolite helps. Ascorbic acid offsets sunburning, Lower seed oil use.

After the interview, I made breakfast. Chris came home for lunch. I read e-mail. At 3:45 I went walking at the gym with Diane and Michelle. Afterward, Diane went back to work. Michelle and I walked to the chapel. She wanted to play the piano, but mostly we chatted. As we walked back to our cars, we ran into Saronna and the kids walking to the library.

I drove home. Chris cooked me a steak. I ate about half, plus leftover veggies. I watched an interview with a doctor: Take nitazoxanide for parasites. All cancer patients have parasites. Take copper and zinc for prevention, 500 nac+ 200 selenium = production of glutathione. Take 5000mg vit c daily. Take Verde Vita for throat issues. Most people are copper deficient so it would help to take Sovereign copper hydrosol. Also recommended something called Asea.

I went to the garden. I planted two tomatoes and 4 sweet potatoes. I watered them with multiple gallons of water, resolving to bring another gallon jug. When I got back, I made tea and wrote my blog post. We watched four episodes of Cheers.

I finished the interview from earlier, then got ready for bed.

needlepoint pillow

Sunday

I don't remember when I got up. I used the usual supplement protocol. I watered the plants and worms. I am looking forward to re-homing them in a planter box.

I listened to an interview with Dr. Tau Braun. He studies psychopaths and sociopaths. He specializes in bioweaponry and mass killings. He said Bill Gates is one and is following a depopulation agenda to please his father and will kill himself after completing his crowning achievement - like school shooters often do. Covid is a glycoprotein, so the injected will develop allergies to food. It also affects the nicotinic receptors, dulling their senses so they don't react as strongly to the new policies. There is a neurological basis for the injected 'needing' the next booster like smokers 'need' another cigarette. He said gingko helps with tinnitis after injection. Anacardic acid in shells of cashew nut enhances the bactericidal activity of host immune cells.

Then I watched videos about inverters that connect to a car battery and will run lights, a radio, chargers, etc. One recommended a 410 watt Schumacher power inverter. I got dressed and went to church with muffins and my trombone, just in case. Well, the guest pastor was there by himself, so we chatted. Then I played trombone while the few people who showed up sang. The pastor preached from the next section of John. We had communion, then I played one last hymn request. After the service, we chatted and snacked on muffins. John and I talked about trombones.

I ate some fruit. I went to the swap shop at 3. Jenni was waiting. My key ring exploded and keys went everywhere. I fished out all but one. I unlocked the swap shop. Then Tim and Erin came to get a crib. She brought some sticky buns for me. Tim got the remaining key out of my car. I hung around while they all looked for stuff, but eventually left Jenni and went home, changed clothes, and read e-mail.

Chris and I went to the garden to add a bag of potting soil to the box garden and to close the shed (which I left open yesterday). I went home to get my sauna stuff. I arrived at the gym at 5. Michelle was waiting. I gave a rooting to Mickie, then worked out with Michelle. Then we sat in sauna with Heather and Jenni. Mickie let us stay past 6. I forgot about David coming over with a needlepoint pillow panel that his mother made.

When I got home, Chris showed it to me. Then I heated a bowl of fish, asparagus, broccoli and cauliflower. I ate while watching videos about gophers. I planted some basil rootings in the tower garden. I pressed some pickled garlic and let it sit while I went outside to light some gopher gassers. I raked down the mounds. When I came in, I mixed the garlic with olive oil and ate it.

I jotted notes and made tea. We watched 4 episodes of Cheers. I posted to my blog. I read e-mail, then went to bed.

At least one person came

Saturday

It was not a good night. My ears were ringing loudly and I had to get up three times. Chris got up early. I stayed in bed until 7. My back hurt so I moved slowly. When I went into my sewing room, I discovered that my hot glue gun had been plugged in since yesterday. I forgot I was going to glue the mop head back onto the mop. So I did it and unplugged the gun. I posted the sewing class to Facebook. It should have been done 2 days ago. I watered the plants and worms. I turned on the dishwasher and washed all the dishes that wouldn't fit.

After reading e-mail, I made and ate breakfast. Chris said the colonel wanted to talk to me. I got my project stuff together, then Chris drove me to the colonel's house. The colonel's family was there. He asked me to mend his mask, and a pair of pants. Then his wife filled me in on how to care for their cats. We chatted for a while, then went home.

Chris put the sewing machines in my car. We each drove to the chapel. Tonja arrived at the same time. Chris carried the machines in, then left. She and I talked for some time, but no one else showed up. So I set up one machine for her to make the magnetic wristband. It did a bad job and then stopped working. We took the machine apart to find thread wrapped where no thread should be. We both worked at it, but mostly her. There was one piece left that we couldn't get. She put it back together, but one piece wasn't quite right. She used her machine to finish the job. We cleaned up and went home.

I had a bite to eat: fish with cayenne sauce. Then I went to the garden. I got a wheelbarrow from the garden shed. I shoveled two loads of dried cow manure into the box from yesterday. I watered it really well. I dug up the walkway and laid cardboard. As I dug, I spotted worms and put them in the box. I cleaned out the 5 gallon bucket and put young tumbleweed plants in it.

When I got home, I drank tea. Chris cooked asparagus, while I texted with Michelle. I was still eating when she arrived. I offered her the rest of the hibiscus tea and made more for me. I washed a bowl of grapes and we listened to her talk about the ball and donations, etc. Finally I indicated it was time and she wrapped it up.

I thought it was 9, but it was 9:30. I washed more grapes. I posted to my blog and we watched TV. Then Chris picked at what appeared to be a splinter in my finger. Afterward he concluded it was only a cut. I looked at it through the jewelers loupe and did not see a splinter.

We made the bed with clean sheets. Then we spent some time on our laptops before going to bed.

Getting ready for tomorrow's project

Friday

I got up late, like after 8:30. I took some probiotics and niacinamide. I unpacked the Swansons box. I filled a container with all the packages of flax seed. But they didn't all fit so I made a batch of flax seed muffins. Then I watered the worms and the plants.

I needed special magnets for a sewing project tomorrow. After searching high and low, I found them in a drawer. I thought the hardest part was over. I tried to make a magnetic wristband by sewing a circle cut from a sleeve and turning it inside out. But it can't be done as a circle. Finally, I took the short seam out, inserted the magnet board into the tube and shoved one end into the other. Ok so far. I took the magnet board out so I could glue some stronger magnets to it. I jotted blog notes while I waited for the glue gun to heat up.

I checked Facebook. Saronna's husband had responded to my ad for goat cheese. So I called her and they were driving so we agreed to meet tomorrow. I made and ate breakfast while reading e-mail. I made a shopping list of foods low in oxalates, lectins and phytates.

I watched New World Next Week. They talked about Peachtree Corners, a planned city in the Atlanta area. I went to their website but it was too high tech for me to navigate it. I certainly would not want to live there, considering they are collecting data on everything (and probably everyone).

Chris went to the office and was back soon after one. He packed the cooler. We went to Tooele, listening to the book on CD. We shopped at Luckeys, then I walked to Melanies and quickly got a few things. Then we went to Cal Ranch. That was supposed to be a quick trip too, just a couple of bags of dirt and some plants. But when the sales clerk asked if we found everything, I mentioned the tomato teepees. She had seen them two days ago, so we went on a hunt, looking over and over again at the same three aisles. But no joy. I did not realize that the register was holding our order so no one else could check out at that register.

Finally we went to Macey's for a few last items and returned to post. I fell asleep in the car. We stopped at the post office to pick up the mail, then came home to unload groceries. I tried to nap in bed, but it just turned to rumination. So I got up. I checked my to-do list. Chris put fish in the oven for me. So instead of going to the garden, I stayed home and wrapped a box with chicken wire and loaded it in my car.

When the fish was done, I ate some and then went to the pool for water aerobics lead by Jenni. Mandy and her kids were there, too. We stayed until almost 8, vowing to turn the sauna on before we swim next time. I went to the garden to deliver the box and put some dead weeds in the bottom. I also checked the irrigation system. I went home changed into dry clothes. I posted to my blog, made tea, and we watched 5 episodes of Cheers, then went to bed early.
