Molecular hydrogen and kombucha

Thursday

I got up around 8, having slept ok after having gotten up twice to pee. I brushed and swished. I read e-mail. I posted the dryer for sale to the Dugway Facebook page. I placed a Swanson's order, then realized I didn't get the deal they promised. So I tried to 'chat' and retract the order. But there wasn't enough time.

At 10 I put on my boots and went to the dirty house. I felt like Mr. Rogers taking off my boots and putting on my cleaning shoes. I could not find my little ladder so I used Jamie's ladder to finish scrubbing the ceiling and walls up to the outlet in the livingroom.

Then I went upstairs to work on one of the bedrooms. Jamie arrived and called out to me. So I went down to greet her. I gave her a lip balm and a solar flashlight keychain. Then we talked for some time. We worked a little on the bedroom. I did the closet while she did the window. She told me that the head of Housing said to leave the tub alone since it flooded the utility room and ran into the garage.

At noon I prepared to leave. We went through the garage and there were things we had to talk about the disposition of. We looked through the stuff left behind. Certain things she was very interested in having, so I said ok. There was a large chitboard covered in squares of carpet. Neither of us could figure out what it was for. There was a brand new pair of boots. She thought of throwing them out because they had been in the house, but I took them home to clean up.

I went home and Chris helped me unload some stuff from the car. Chris had taken the afternoon off again. I took off my boots and made breakfast. I watched The Highwire. Then at 3:30 I went to the gym to meet Michelle and Diane. Michelle brought me a bottle of water from her new filter device. This time we walked outside. It was pretty cold, but not windy. We chatted all the way and for half an hour afterward. I drank all of the water and it was excellent!

When I got home, I found a Facebook message from someone who wanted the dryer. I sent him a message and we agreed to meet tomorrow at the dirty house. I cleaned up the men's pair of boots, then went to the swap shop to deliver them and the three pairs of black pants which were not black enough for Chris' suit jacket. I stayed to talk to Tonja who said it was slow today. She said she had a snake to try on the washer that won't drain, Then a handful of people came in to look around. So I wished them well and went home.

Chris made soup and baked potatoes and choriso. I ate a bowl of soup with potatoes in it. I tried putting a hydrogen tablet in a bottle of kombucha to dissolve, and found out it is very much like mentos in coke. Don't try it unless you want to shampoo your carpet afterward.

I listened to several podcasts, then worked on my blog. I practiced my trombone. We watched Enola Holmes, on Netflix. It was an excellent movie. Then I took some melatonin and got on my laptop for awhile, then went to bed, with Chris.

Staying out of his way

Wednesday

I got up around 7:30, having slept just ok and woken early. I brushed and swished. I made coffee and did my special exercises. I watered the plants and changed the water for the rootings. I tapped and meditated. Then I cleaned the bathrooms.

As I was washing dishes in the kitchen, Chris came home for lunch. He said he took the rest of the day off and would try to stay out of my way. I vacuumed the house, then packed stuff for Michelle and Tonja. The seed crackers were still in the oven and not crisp, so I turned the oven to 170 and set the timer for Chris to take them out.

I went cleaning for 2 hours and 15 minutes. Mostly I worked on the vertical blinds, the walls and the livingroom floors. Michelle called and invited me to use the sauna with her. I stopped at Tonja's house to deliver a present, then went home for my sauna bag. It was not packed so I had to grab a suit and a towel.

Michelle was waiting at the gym. She talked to me while I did the leg and abs portion of the workout. After scrubbing ceilings and walls, I felt I had my arm workout already. Then we went in the sauna. We chatted and sweated. After almost an hour, we had enough, changed to regular clothes and went home.

At home, I listened to a podcast, and jotted notes. Jamie texted me a pic of a rat's nest that she found in the bathroom of the dirty house. I thought I had looked in that drawer, but apparently not. I told her I was almost jealous that she found all the 'treasures'.

After finishing the podcast and some Telegram messages, I worked on my blog. I made tea and we watched TV. We finished season 3 of I Dream of Jeannie. I wonder what we'll watch tomorrow night?

Chris got on his laptop for awhile, then bedded down on the couch. I stayed up longer to read Telegram messages, then I went to bed, too.

Little Drummer Girl

Tuesday

I got up around 8, not having slept well. My tummy had not been happy. I brushed and swished. I checked e-mail.

I went to the dirty house to clean for a little over 2 hours. I scrubbed parts of the kitchen ceiling and some baseboards, and the vertical blinds. I looked inside the patio box for plant pots but did not find the terracotta one I needed. Good news, the dirty house is now looking more like a normal house where the resident recently moved.

I got home around 12:30. Chris was having lunch. I made breakfast. His zipper pull broke and he asked me to put a paper clip on it. So I did, but it wouldn't stay hidden. He went back to work.

At 2 I put on my boots and went to Saronna's house with my trombone. Her kids were home from school. Her daughter got a special drum for Christmas. So she played with us as we did songs like Suzy Snowflake, Little Drummer Boy, and Do you hear what I hear?

I went home with just time to put my trombone up and get the diffuser to give back to Michelle. Then I went to the gym. Diane and Tonja were there, but Michelle was not. Tonja brought a friend who was visiting her. We walked around the track for over half an hour. Then we all went our separate ways.

When I got home, I went back to reading e-mail. I ate the last of some fish and some beef from the fridge. I listened to a podcast, made a Swanson's order, and a Water and Wellness order. When all the holiday sales are over, I can go back to normal browsing.

I worked on my blog, then made seed crackers. When they were done, I made tea and read until Chris was ready. Then we watched two episodes of Jeannie. He went to bed on the couch and I stayed up to read, then went to bed.

No pants for Chris

Monday

I got up around 8, having slept well, and then been awakened by Reveille. I brushed and swished. Chris watched movies on his laptop. He did not hear me when I got bundled up and headed out to the dirty house.

I spent 2 hours and 15 minutes cleaning in the kitchen. I scrubbed the windows and the ceiling and some cabinets and the freezer. But there is a lot more ceiling to go and I wished I had a real stepladder instead of a small kitchen one. The flies were landing on cabinets and cracks in the floor. So I wiped those again, even though they looked clean.

I went home for breakfast. I talked to Jamie. I opened two cards from the other day. One was from John's mom.

I went to Saronna's house to pick up her daughter for tutoring. I took her to the company house and we went through the bathrooms for stuff to throw out. I did some dusting. Then we worked on her chapter 5 test.

I returned her at 6 and went home. Chris cooked some steaks. I ate part of one with mushrooms, then made a salad. I listened to a podcast and pieced puzzles. I worked on my blog and made tea.

I practiced on trombone until Chris was ready to watch TV. We watched 3 episodes of Jeannie. Then we examined the three pairs of pants I got from the swap shop. But none of them matched the suit jacket, which was pin-striped. Seems like solid black pants would coordinate nicely. Sigh.

Chris went to bed and I stayed up to listen to a podcast. I took some activated charcoal and went to bed.

Christmas and games

Sunday

I got up around 8:30. Chris was already up and watching movies on his laptop with headphones. That was good because he couldn't hear me go in the kitchen. Otherwise, every time I go in the kitchen, he gets up and gets a drink, or whatever, and we have to share the space.

I brushed and swished. I read e-mail. I made a new batch of nasal rinse and forgot the baking soda/salt mix. Wow, did that sting! But I added a packet and tried again and it was fine. I cleaned my ears with hydrogen peroxide.

I went back to listening to interviews and Christmas music. I put on my boots and took the compost out. I watered it down with whey that had spoiled. I put some frozen whey in a bowl to thaw for bread.

Chris got the turkey off the back porch and put it in the oven. I watched videos about spawning mushrooms while the bread kneeded and rose. I rolled it into 4 ropes and braided them. It rose again while I heated the oven, then I baked it. I ate some turkey, then pulled the bread out to cool and melted butter over it.

Around 3, Michele and John called. They are visiting his sister. We had a nice chat. Chris made cranberry sauce. I washed up and got dressed. I took a braided bread from the fridge and we went to Michelle's house for Christmas dinner. Chris brought the cranberry sauce and Michelle put it in a dish.

We sat down to a dinner of ham, potatoes, salad, bread and cranberry sauce. It was very nice and we had a lovely conversation. After dinner, we played a computer game from long ago, called Rubik's Playground. Chris didn't participate. He fell asleep on the couch, then later went home. The rest of us took turns trying to get all the balls to roll into the portal.

It got to be 9pm. Faye called to wish me a Merry Christmas. I let Michelle take my turn while I talked. Faye said she got her cast off but can't go back to work just yet. We talked about presents, those we got and those we decided not to this year. Tired out, we both hung up.

Michelle gave me two plates of ham and bread and drove me home. I greeted Chris who was listening to a movie with headphones. Then I worked on my blog. We did not watch TV, and I read Telegram messages until bed time.

Christmas Eve

Saturday

I got up around 8, having slept well and put my phone in the bathroom so it wouldn't wake Chris up. But he was already up. I brushed and swished. I read e-mail and listened to audio clips.

At 10 I got dressed and went to the dirty house with screwdrivers, a yardstick and a swish mop. I used the Phillips head to get the pet door insert out of the sliding glass door. I used the yardstick to see if anything was stuck under the lazy Susans. I used the mop to get dried up dirt off the floor. I also wiped the washer and dryer and took a pic of the dryer. I started it to see if it worked. I went upstairs to run the water and make sure the pipes weren't frozen. I also swept the bathroom and found the screw for the tub handle.

When I got home, Chris was waiting for the chaplain who wanted to borrow a rolling pin for his wife. When he came, we also gave him a loaf of braided bread. Chris gave me a massage, then took a shower. I took my shower, then made breakfast.

I went to open the swap shop for a neighbor. I found a white top. Then a man came in with some toys. I put stuff I found in bags away. I found three pairs of pants that might match Chris' suit. Altering them would be easier than patching the shredded ones I caught him wearing the other day.

Michelle came by the swap shop with the homemade deodorant I commissioned for Chris. We talked inside, then went outside and talked more. Finally I went home. I ate some fruit, read e-mail, then ate some turkey. I made a salad, and listened to a podcast on the end times I stopped it to get dressed for Christmas Eve service. Then Chris got dressed. I put a braid of bread in a gift bag and went to church.

When we got there, I gave the bag to Saronna. We chatted, then I went up front to sit. A group of three played The Christmas Song. Then the chaplain prayed, and preached a sermon on Chrismas. At the end, Saronna and I played carols from the hymn book. When it was over, we stood around talking and finally went home.

Getting out of the car, I cut my finger on the door handle. Chris put my trombone back in its spot. We changed clothes. I had to put a bandaid on my finger because it wouldn't stop bleeding. We made the bed with clean sheets.

I made tea, then we watched two episodes. I worked on my blog. I looked at e-mail till 11:30 and went to bed.

Cleaning and shopping

Friday

I got up around 8, I think. I had slept well. I brushed and swished. I met Chris in the hallway. He had my phone so he could shut off the alarms as they rang. Apparently he woke up early. I turned on the router and hooked my laptop to it.

I read e-mail. There were lots of sales. Sigh. At 10 I put on my boots and went to the dirty house. I changed into my worst shoes, then cleaned walls and ceilings and cupboards for 2 hours. I found two piles of fluffy white stuff in the corners of the lazy susan cabinet. I hoped it wasn't insulation.

When I got home, I made breakfast and ate it while reading e-mail. Then at 2, we got ready to go to Tooele. We stopped at the dispatch office to meet a lady who is making a quilt while she watches the monitors. We chatted for awhile. Then we headed to town, listening to our book on CD.

Once in town, we stopped at the bank, then went to Luckey's. From there, I walked to Melanie's. When I came out, we drove to Auto Zone for wd-40. (I read that spraying in on traps makes them more attractive to gophers.) Then we wrapped up our shopping at Macey's.

We were on our last CD, when we got back to base. We stopped at the commissary for some things that are cheaper there than in town. We ran into the colonel and he wanted to go to the swap shop. I had left it open for Jamie. We took our fruit and kombucha home and put it away, and the other groceries too. I ate the last persimmon, and read e-mail for awhile.

Then I got the roasting pan from the back porch and took some turkey out. After eating that, I made a salad. Chris watched a movie on his laptop. I called Jamie to see if she was done with the swap shop, but she didn't answer. So after watching a video, I went over there to lock it up.

Then I worked on my blog and heated tea. We watched three episodes of Jeannie. Then I got online to look up some of the guest stars, like Don Ho. I moved on to other searches, probably sewing ideas. Then I turned off the router and went to bed.

Where's the beef? It's here!

Thursday

I got up at 7:30, hearing my alarm go off in the bathroom. I had slept well. I brushed and swished. I checked e-mail and listened to podcasts. Then I got dressed and emptied the dirt from the vacuum. I took the vacuum to the dirty house and used it in the kitchen. Still lots of flies, dead and alive. My mind spent the time going over what happened yesterday and wondering if I should report it. Then I got a call that our half a cow would be delivered this afternoon. So instead of cleaning for 2 hours, I only did 1 ½ , then went home for breakfast.

When I got home, Chris was already having lunch. I told him about the meat coming. I washed the freezer out with baking soda water, which Randy had suggested. Then I made breakfast and ate it while watching The Highwire. It wasn't a great episode because Del was talking to some interviewer about things that happened this past year. They weren't saying anything new. So I went on to listen to other audios. I talked to Diane about what happened yesterday.

I kept expecting the meat guy to call on his way. But it got later and later. I plugged in the freezer. No one was available to walk, so I skipped that. Then Chris came home an hour early. Still no call. I ate turkey from out on the back porch and salad for supper. I listened to Christmas music and watched sewing videos for ideas for future classes.

Then the call came. We opened the garage and pushed the riding mower out. I moved my car from the driveway. I put frozen whey in a double boiler to melt. I assembled the rest of the ingredients in the bread machine. I needed to open another bag of flour. So then I had to distribute the rest into various lidded containers so bugs can't get at it.

Chris saw the truck come up the road. We opened the garage and turned on the lights. They backed the truck up to the garage. A young man jumped out and unloaded boxes of meat. Chris helped him. Then he was going to leave, but the older man got out and that's when I remembered that I owed him a check. So I ran inside to write it, then handed it to him. There were a few more boxes that the young man forgot. After unloading those, we thanked them and they headed out. Chris opened the boxes and took the packages of meat out. Then

we rolled the riding mower back inside and closed the door.

I finished containing the flour. The whey had melted so I added it and the proofed yeast to the machine and started it on 'dough'. I went back to reading e-mail until the cycle was complete. I pulled the dough out and divided it, then let it rest. Then I rolled it into ropes and braided them, put the whole thing on a cookie sheet and warmed the oven. I let it bake for 20 minutes or so while I worked on my blog.

After the bread came out, I heated tea and we watched several episodes of Jeannie. Then I spent an hour or so on my laptop before going to bed.

No more lone quotes

Wednesday

I slept well until I had to get up to answer the call of nature. Chris took a shower then went to work. I got up for good about 7:30. I watered the plants, brushed and swished, made coffee, exercised, etc. I finished with tapping and meditation about 11. Chris came home for lunch just as I started cleaning the bathrooms. He went back to work while I was cleaning the kitchen. I vacuumed and mopped.

I decided to do a detox bath. I washed the tub and took a shower. Then I ran hot water into the tub through the shower filter. But it took forever and the water cooled off as it rained down. I put the salt mixture in and dissolved it. I gave up on the shower and used the tap. But still it took a lot of water and I shut it off before it would cover all of me at once. Then I realized I had no way to time it from inside the tub. It got hot and I had to alternate putting my feet out, and putting my torso out.

After what seemed like a long time, I got out and dried off. I got dressed. I texted Michelle about going to the gym at 3. I read e-mail for a bit, then realized it was after 3. I put on my shoes and drove over there.

I was able to complete one circuit before 3:30. Michelle, Diane and I went walking on the track. I gave Michelle a solar lantern. When we were done, I went to the apartment building to see a guy's place and give him a quote for cleaning. He showed me around the apartment, which wasn't very big. He said some odd things. He showed me his underwear drawer. He invited me to sit on the bed and talk. He told me a story that ended up with bunnies going at it. I told him I had to go, and would text him know the quote later.

I went back to the gym. Michelle set up the weights for me and I did three more circuits. We talked the whole time. After even more conversation, I went home. But just as I took my coat off, Chris suggested going to get his weekly pizza and the commissary. I needed eggs, so I got in his car. He phoned in his order, then we went to get eggs. Then we stopped at the community club and waited for the pizza to finish baking. I talked to Rebecca, whom I hardly see since she got a job.

When we got home, he started eating the pizza. I finalized my Ebay order, adding a paint pen. Then I looked up a better recipe for cardamom bread. It would have been easy, but I wanted to use the whey, which was frozen. So I made a kind of double boiler with a measuring cup. It took a long time to melt. Finally it was in the bread machine and I sat down to work on my blog.

I took it out, divided it into three ropes, braided them and let them rise while the oven heated. Then I made tea and we started watching TV. I stopped to put the bread in the oven, and again later to take it out.

After Jeannie, Chris went to bed in the living room and I stayed up in the den to try to catch up on e-mail. It got late, and then I went to bed.

Questionable bread

Tuesday

I woke up early, with hot flashes and could not go back to sleep. I heard Chris come in to take a shower. I got up about 8. I brushed and swished. I checked e-mail.

I got dressed and headed to the dirty house. I stopped for the mail and there were boxes. I figured they should not be left in the car so I decided to go get gas and go home. But when I got to the gas station, I did not have my credit card. So I went home to get it and drop off the packages. In the mail, I found one not addressed to us. I got my blood spot test ready to to be mailed, and went back to the post office. I turned in the misdelivered mail and the UPS packet. Then I went to the gas station, and finally to the dirty house. I worked for an hour and a half. I cleaned behind the fridge, noting that the water line was slowly dripping. I pulled out the stove and cleaned behind it. I also did some upper cabinets and the drawers. In the top drawer was a package of Klondike bars. A melted pool had formed at the bottom of the cabinet, after touching every drawer in between. Sigh. Oddly, the flies were not interested.

I headed home for breakfast. I checked e-mail as I ate. Saronna messaged me that she couldn't play today. Just as well. I ate the burned innards from Sunday. I got out the jar of lipbalm and heated it over the tea pot. I got out the tiny pots and filled two. I put them in a baggie and went to the gym.

When Diane came in, I gave her one. We walked around the track and Michelle showed up. I gave her one, too. We walked till after 4. Then Diane went back to work. Michelle stayed to talk for awhile, till almost 5. She went home to meet her sister and I went home to make bread.

That didn't work out like I thought. First I had to clean up the spilled lip balm. Then Jamie called to talk about cleaning and the upcoming inspection. Also I had to eat the fruit that I skipped from breakfast. I reviewed my cart with Joanns, trying to get as little as possible, yet having a coordinated set(s).

Chris came home from work. I could not find the cardamom bread recipe in a book or in my blog file. But it was in my e-mail list. Ok, so I heated the milk, combined the other things and put it in the machine to kneed.

I worked on my blog. I heated tea. I beat the dough down and left it to rise again. We watched one episode of Jeannie, then I pounded it down again. After we watched a second episode, I rolled the dough into 4 ropes and braided them into a circle. I put it on a cookie sheet to rise while the oven heated. I put an egg yolk and cream mixture on it, then put it in the oven. When I took it out, it wasn't brown enough so I rubbed it with butter and put it back in the turned-off oven. I finalized my Joanns order, then took the bread wreath out. I didn't like the look of it and decided not to use that recipe any more. I went through some e-mail, then went to bed.

Out with the old

Monday

I woke up hearing Chris in the shower. I got up around 8. I made a list of things to do, then started doing them. I wrote a check to the church. I watered the plants. I made up supplements. Finally I pricked my fingers for a blood spot test. But it was so hard to get blood out! It was so odd because last week, when I found a cut on my hand, it would not stop bleeding.

I got dressed, collected a few things, then headed out. I mailed the check at the post office, then went to the dirty house to clean. I worked mostly in the kitchen, and a little in the bathrooms. Stove, fridge, floors: I couldn't stop.

After 3 hours, I went home for breakfast. As I ate, I read e-mail. I went to the gym, and walked with Diane and Jenni. I gave Jenni some homemade chocolates for Christmas. Then I went to Saronna's house and picked up Sophia. We went to the company house and worked on her math for an hour. A man called me to get a quote for cleaning his apartment. Then we went through the cupboards and identified expired food which we threw out. No dead mice this time.

I took her home, then went home myself. I put the expired food in the trash can. I greeted Chris, then finished my grapefruit from breakfast. I made a salad and ate it while listening to a podcast. Then I read a docusign real estate file and signed it. I wanted to use my trackpad, but it wasn't cooperating well enough. So I photographed my signature and used that.

I worked on my blog, then made tea. We watched episodes of Jeannie. I got very sleepy, so I closed my eyes and walked slowly to the bedroom and laid down. Chris turned on the air purifier and left the room. I guess he got on his laptop, then slept in the livingroom.

Hymn sing

Sunday

I got up around 8, not having slept well because my back hurt. I brushed and swished. I opened the package from the mail yesterday. It was mineral toothpaste and a tongue scraper. Chris rubbed my back with arnica spray. I watered the plants. I planted two things that had rooted. I finished reading my book while sitting against the PEMF mat.

I whipped up cheese squares and put them in the oven. I read e-mail for a bit, then mixed up a batch of seed crackers. I put them in when the cheese came out. I read for half an hour, then checked on the crackers. I reset the timer and the oven in case it had gotten messed up. The oven showed as starting at 180. Shouldn't it have been 275, like for the last 30 minutes?

I read e-mail while the baking proceeded. When I took the crackers out, Chris put in a turkey. I made breakfast and ate while listening to a bonus episode. Then I got dressed, filled a container with cheese squares and went to chapel.

After I walked in, I left the cheese squares on the back table. I unpacked my trombone and left it up front. I talked to Rick and others as they came in. Later Diane said a prayer, and then the bishop's wife went to the piano as Saronna and I took our places at the music stand in the center. People suggested hymns and we played for over half an hour. For Silent Night, the piano player had Moira come up and sing in sign language. Diane recorded that and (I found out later) posted it to the Dugway chapel page.

After the singing, we had cheese snacks and conversed. Then I went home. I checked e-mail. I listened to bonus episodes. Chris pulled the turkey from the oven. He brought frozen innards from a pot on the back porch and put them on the stove to cook. We got on Discord to play the family DnD game. I began to smell smoke. It was the water boiling away from the innards. I shut the gas off. Chris added water to the pan. We brought the air purifier into the kitchen. But it was quite a while before I could breath normally. And the roar of the motor interfered with listening to the others in the game.

This week, we put some ghosts to rest. We found another who was the wife of the warden and died of smoke inhalation in the fire. She was worried about her husband and told us where to look for necromancy weapons. We found them and divied them up. Then the game ended due to the time. I read some Telegram messages. I worked on my blog and made tea. We watched episodes of Jeannie. We both played on our laptops, then he went to bed in the living room. I stayed up too late and went to bed after midnight.

Sewing Stockings

Saturday

I got up late because Chris turned my phone alarms off so I had no idea what time it was. I brushed and swished. I looked at e-mail. I made a mixture of baking soda, salt and borax for a detox bath. I fixed his suit pocket and sewed rubber backing on the computer table pocket.

I adjusted my table to see if it would go low for a 5yo. Then I looked for something small enough to be a chair. I put some items away from yesterday, I bent down to look at the jar shelf and my back glitched. I took some supplements, then Chris gave me a massage and I took a shower.

I made breakfast and ate it while reading e-mail. Then I put together my stuff for sewing class. Chris helped me carry it all out to my car. I folded up my computer table and took it. We went to the chapel to drop it off. I went home again to get the practice sheets and another iron and pressing mat when I got back, two people were there. Thinking they were alone. They followed me in. Then other people came, like Diane and Saronna and her family. I set up the little table and found the perfect size chair in the nursery. I got one 5yo started sewing on paper.

The rest of the class was a blur of activity. Thankfully Tonja came with her machines I had brought my featherweight just in case. She and Jenni helped the kids with their cutting and sewing. I went from stitcher to stitcher, instructing, encouraging, and apparently asking for a Ferarro Rochet box to replace the one I fill with sewing supplies. Saronna's husband measured it and went to the commissary and bought a locking plastic container. I was surprised because I forgot I had asked the group.

Several people took pics of the class and finished projects. They helped me clean up and carry all the things to my car. We left the irons behind to cool. Saronna wanted to go to the swap shop, so her family and the new couple followed me there.

I unlocked the door and turned on the lights. Everybody looked around and the kids pulled stuff from the shelves to play with. After awhile, Randy suggested that Saronna should go walking. So he took the kids home. I locked the shop and drove Saronna to the gym. I texted the regular walking group to see if any wanted to join in.

She and I walked for some time and then Michelle showed up. She was talkative and that was fine. At 6 the man came in to say the gym was closing. Michelle said she would call Dispatch after we left. That turned out to be after 6:30, so Saronna and I had walked at least 90 minutes. Michelle took her home while I went by the chapel to make sure it was locked. The temp was 7 degrees. But when I got home, it read 4 degrees. Brrr!

I made a salad, and ate it while going through e-mail. I downloaded photos people took at the sewing class, cropped them and posted some to Facebook. My stomach felt hard and distended. I couldn't imaging what I had eaten to cause that. I worked on my blog, then made tea. We watched several episodes of Jeannie, finishing season 2.

Chris went to bed in the livingroom and I stayed up listening to an interview. Before I went to bed, I took 4 capsules of activated charcoal. By morning, my stomach was back to normal.

Shopping day

Friday

It was a rough night. I went to bed after midnight. Then Chris was making a lot of noise trying to breathe. I kept poking him but it didn't work this time. So I took my pillow and went in the guest room. But it was too bright, especially with the snow outside reflecting light in and the mirrored closet doors reflecting it back. I checked other rooms but they were bright too, even with the blinds down. Finally I went into the walk-in closet. It was dark and mostly quiet, just not very comfortable. Eventually his noisy breathing stopped (indicative of a lower brainwave state?) and I went back to bed and to sleep.

He got up while it was still dark. I don't know what woke him, but he woke me. I tried to go back to sleep, but finally got up about 8. I watered the plants with a dilution of hydrogen peroxide to kill the fungus gnats. I made a solution of eggshells and vinegar which will take a week or two to dissolve minerals for the plants. Then I washed up and got dressed.

After breakfast, we went to Tooele, listening to our book on tape. We shopped at Luckey's, then went to Melanie's. When I checked out, I discovered I left my wallet at home so I paid by check. Then I went to Joanns for paint pens. Same thing. I had to call the clerk to get a paint pen because they were locked in place. I guess shop-lifting is on the rise.

We shopped at Macey's for the remaining food, then drove back to Dugway. We stopped at the commissary for pomegranates before going home. We put the food away. Then I searched for sewing practice sheets online. I downloaded some and printed them out. I also printed a triskele sheet. It did not print out well and the printer insisted that the ink is almost gone. But I just put in a new cartridge a few months ago and we don't print much.

I made a salad while Chris baked fish and cooked mushrooms. I ate the fish and salad, and looked at items on ebay. Then Faye called. We talked about the real estate contract, and her broken wrist, etc.

After the call, I put food away and worked on my blog because it was 9pm. I heated tea and we watched two episodes of Jeannie. Chris went to bed on the couch, and I stayed up to look ate e-mail in the den. When I went to turn off the router, I noticed Chris was breathing quietly. Figures. I went through my bedtime routine and hit the hay.

Stress management class

Thursday

I got up at 7:40. It had taken a long time to get to sleep because Chris was breathing so noisily. I brushed and swished, then went out to the kitchen. I did some tapping for not wanting to work on the stocking. But I had to post before noon.

So I got out the fabrics, and checked the internet for patterns. I put one on a thumb drive and took it to the printer. There were only two ports and one had the mouse and the other had the printer. I unplugged the printer, inserted the thumbdrive, cued up the design to print, then exchanged the mouse cable for the printer cable. I never had to do that before and wondered how it was set up in the past.

I printed out the pattern in pieces and glued them together. I re-wrote the directions to make it a one-page thing. I cut out the two stocking halves, ironed stabilizer on, sewed them and turned them right side out. I cut out the cuff and some strips. I pinned the cuff and one loop of strip to the stocking and sewed it on. I pressed the final product, then laid it on the pile of fabrics and photographed it. I wrote the class announcement and attached the photo. After it posted, several people commented on it. One lady asked to bring her 5 yo. Sigh.

I had a few minutes to listen to Episode 11 from Brave while I made breakfast. I ate while listening to The Highwire. But all too soon, I had to get dressed, dig out my car and go to the community club for Diane's presentation on stress management.

It went ok. 20+ people came, which was more than signed up. There were technical issues with the microphone, TEAMS, her laptop and the slides. But she kept going. She called on me a number of times and I wanted to slink away. Chris came for a short while half way through. At one point my phone rang and I got stressed trying to locate it in my purse and shut it off.

It was over around 3. I asked if she wanted to walk, but she had to clean up. So I went home and texted to the group. But nobody was coming, so I went back to listening. I also ate cheese squares and fruit and nuts. Probably trying to make up for fasting yesterday.

As I was getting dressed for church, Chris came home with a pizza. He had a bite to eat and then drove me to the chapel. More people were there than usual, but mostly people who were participating and their families.

Michelle asked Chris to say the parts that the chaplain would have had. The chaplain was at the hospital with his wife. So Chris started the program, then Saronna and I played a piece. A man came in and sang acapella. A boy and a man, both with guitars played and tried to sing. A group of kids sang and took turns playing the piano. Saronna and I played again. A man sang a duet with his daughter. Then a boy sang with a guitar and a string bass. Michelle sang with the guitar player, but it did not go well. Kuddos to her for trying because it is very hard to sing when the melody is not being played.

Anyway, after the music program, people stood around talking and eating cookies. I spoke with Jenni and Saronna. Chris talked to some guys. Then we got in his car and went to the gym to pick up the guitar. The person who borrowed it had left it there. Then we went home.

I changed into my nightgown. I listened to more of The Highwire, then worked on my blog. I heated the tea and we watched several episodes of Jeannie. Chris went to bed and I stayed up to finish The Highwire. Their attorney was talking about all the FOIA cases they had won this past year and other cases against mandates.

The cleaning begins

Wednesday

I woke up hearing Reveille, then Chris taking a shower and getting ready for work. He went outside to dig out his car, and did mine as well. Then he came in to wake me up. I thanked him and he left.

I got up and started coffee morning, knowing I would have to pause it. I got an envelop and went over to the dirty house to sign the contract. Jamie was already there and the inspectors were not far behind. The house was a little emptier but lots of junk was left, including a table and chairs and a washer and dryer. And dirty dust bunnies the size of your fist. He wasn't ready, but he had the money and we signed the contract. Then Jamie called her son over to help the man pack the last of his things.

I went home to finish coffee morning and to clean the bathrooms and kitchen, and the rest of the house. God willing, my house will never look like that. I put the envelop with the money and the key in the desk. Chris did not come home for lunch. Jamie texted around 1 that the man was ready to leave. Later she said he left his coat, but when I checked, he did not want it. She found the washing machine was full of water. Well, he said it doesn't pump water out anymore. I should have guessed that he never emptied it.

I read some e-mail and Telegram messages. I had to reboot. I realized my watch was gone. I jotted notes for my blog. I went to the gym to walk with Diane. No one else showed up. After she left, I worked out in the weight room, trying to change out the heavy weights myself, but then had to ask for help.

After 3 circuits, I left. Since my watch was not in the car or my purse or any of the usual places at home, I figured it must be at the dirty house. So I went there from the gym.

I didn't see my watch on the counter, and the floor was a big mess. Lots of cleaning supplies left behind. I grabbed a broom and started sweeping the living room. I threw out the papers and wrappers. I picked loose change and pens and batteries from the dirt. I filled the tub with hot water and ammonia. I threw the burner bowls in there. I swept the kitchen and utility room. I scrubbed the counter top and the stove. I pulled a shelf from the fridge and scrubbed that. Tons of flies and I am not sure where they came from or what they are eating or where they are breeding.

Without my watch or phone, I didn't know what time it was. So when my back started to hurt, I left. That turned out to be 7, so about 2 hours. Chris wasn't home when I got there. I sat down to work on the next sewing project - stockings. Chris came home as I was hunting the fabric I got for them. I also spent time with a heating pad behind my back. Jamie started texting me from the dirty house. She found a desiccated rabbit under the stairs. It was probably there when he moved in.

I worked on my blog and then we watched TV. After several episodes of Jeannie, he went to bed. I stayed up to listen to episode 11 of Brave, but paused it at 11:30 to go to bed.

Giving him the bad news

Tuesday

I got up after the second alarm. I brushed and swished. I made some tooth powder from hydroxyapatite, baking soda, mineral powder, and xylitol. I'll try it tomorrow. I got dressed. I listened to Mike Adams and a few others while piecing puzzles.

At 9:30 I went outside to dig out my car. The back half was solid ice, but the snow on the front brushed off easily. I listened for a few more minutes, then headed out. I went to the post office to get the mail and unlock the swap shop. Then I met Jamie at the dirty house.

He let us in and we looked around. There was a lot less stuff, but the floors were still full of dust and dirt and loose change. The toilet was not black but still stained. The tub had very yellow stains. And it smelled like cat. We talked to him a little, then went to the E building to talk to the COC. She recommended that we not sign for the house until it is empty, and that we require all the money in cash up front. We knew he didn't have enough.

Then I went to the swap shop to drop off the key with Christina. When I got home, I started making breakfast. Chris did not come home for lunch. After breakfast, I took some cleaners and went back to the dirty house. Jamie and the inspectors were there.

I let Jamie do the talking since she was willing to give him bad news, like we are charging him $2000 and he had to have the money in cash. The Housing guy backed her up, saying it was a requirement for the house to be empty. Jamie and I went upstairs to look at the tub again. It was black in one place and yellow in others. I sprayed it with cleaner to see if it would come off. It didn't. Jamie took me outside while the head of Housing stayed to talk to him, presumably about getting a money order from the post office so there would be funds for a signing tomorrow. The rest of us talked in the parking lot and agreed to come back at 8 tomorrow morning for the signing.

I went home to eat some fruit and get my trombone. I drove to Saronna's house and we played some Christmas carols, deciding on What Child is This for Thursday night. I got texts on my phone about the ladies not being able to walk today. So I went home and read e-mail and listened to the tail end of a discussion on Goldbacks. It's like paper money with gold in it, so not fiat currency.

The quilt guild Christmas party was at 5, but I didn't sign in to Zoom. I worked on completing a Swanson's order with a deadline. Then before 6, I bundled up and drove to the Community Club for a community meeting. It was in the ballroom, but few attended. We talked about Friendsgiving and Turkey Trot and the upcoming cookie swap. Then we just chatted.

After the meeting, Brian and Johnnie came over to say hi. They were having dinner with a new couple. I spoke to Rebecca, then went out to my car. It was snowing again and the windshield was icing up. I brushed it off and drove home.

I made and ate a salad while listening to a QnA. Chris texted me several times. I ate some frozen blueberries, then worked on my blog. Chris came home from the colonel's house. I made tea and we watched one episode of Jeannie. He went right to bed and I stayed up. Even after I went to bed, I was awake for a long time.

Tutoring

Monday

I got up around 8. I brushed and swished. I came out to the kitchen. Chris was on his work laptop even though the base opened two hours late because of the storm. Everything outside was covered in snow and ice. I added some essential oil to the diffuser. I think it helped Chris sleep last night. I watered the plants. I dealt with the dirty dishes in the sink. I cut strips of corrugated cardboard and coiled them in a tuna can. I put Crisco on top and put it in a pan of water to melt the Crisco into the cardboard.

Chris kept coughing up clumps to spit out so his congestion was breaking up. Michelle texted me asking me to go along with her to distribute gifts at headquarters. I said ok. I put on my boots and went out to brush snow off of the thermometer. Then I put some peanut butter in the outdoor mouse trap.

When she showed up, I got in her car and we went to the command building. We walked around leaving small gifts in people's offices. Mostly people were not in. Then she dropped me off at home. I spent the time till breakfast reading an interview with Senator Nicely about agricultural practices.

I poured off the juice from the grapefruit peels and put it in the fridge. I made breakfast and ate it at my computer. I read that vaccine tracking systems are not regulated by HPPA, so your information will be stored and shared, even if you opt out because there will be noted on your record that you opted out.

The man with the incredibly dirty house called just after 3. He wants to sign the house over to me tomorrow afternoon. I wanted to get a hold of Jamie, but I had to run over to the gym. I met Diane there and we walked awhile before Michelle joined us. After the walk, I went to Saronna's house to pick up Sophia.

We went to the company house, where we were greeted by two dead mice in a sticky trap. We cleaned all the expired food from the fridge. Then we sat down to study her math book. We went through the first three chapter tests. She had to be home by 6 and I had her there with a few minutes to spare.

I went home. I ate a persimmon that was finally ready. I made a salad while heating the dressing bottle in a pan of hot water. I also had some of the beef from last night, and carrots.

I listened to audios, and then worked on my blog. I played some on my trombone. I made tea and we watched several episodes of Jeannie. Chris went straight to bed and I stayed up to listened to interviews.

Visiting with friends

Sunday

I got up after 8, and after thumbing my nose at 3 alarms. Chris was sleeping in the living room. I brushed and swished. I clipped dead leaves out of the tower garden and puttered in the kitchen until he got up. He said he was exhausted from not sleeping well due to coughing. Then I spent the morning reading a book by the Happylight while sitting against the PEMF mat.

At 11:30 I started making breakfast. Chris put a roast in the oven. He canceled his game. I finished breakfast with fruit, then washed up and got dressed. I cut up grapefruit rind and put it in the crockpot. I warmed up on trombone. I packed the seed crackers in a basket with a cloth napkin, and went to the chapel.

I was early. I put the seed crackers on the back table. The chaplain told me that he had no assistant to play the songs for the beginning of the service. I told him I would be happy to play some hymns. The lady who played piano several weeks ago came. She had four Christmas songs marked in her hymnal. So I picked two to play before the sermon. Michelle came with Mandi. We chatted for a bit until the service started.

The piano player played first and I joined in. Her playing seemed oddly hesitant for pieces that she had picked. But hey, more power to her for being willing to play in front of the congregation - small as it is.

After the hymns, the chaplain talked about gift-giving. Then the piano player and I took suggestions from the assembley. By then Saronna had arrived with her string bass. So it went really well.

I chatted with the chaplain's son after the service. Then I took my seed crackers and drove home. None of the German soldiers came so I didn't need all those crackers. It seemed really cold and windy. Michelle was close behind. She brought me some Nightquil for Chris and I gave her my bottle of desiccated liver for her anemia. Chris told me the evening game was canceled too.

I looked at e-mail, and some items on Ebay. Then I texted Johnnie, explaining that Chris was sick and asking if I could come over with goat butter. They said to come over, so I did, right after Chris got home from picking up his work laptop.

Their RV didn't have a doorbell so I knocked and she let me in. They were watching football and cheering for the red and white team. We chatted between touchdowns and passes. Brian really liked the goat butter. When it got on toward 6, they wanted to start dinner, so I left. When I got home, the roast was ready. Chris put on some quinoa to cook. I turned off the crockpot. I made a salad to go with the roast. I read e-mail for awhile. Michelle came over with a diffuser and set it up in the kitchen. I am not sure it will help Chris there.

I listened to a few political videos. I worked on my blog and drank strawberry kombucha. I moved the diffuser to the edge of the living room. I made tea and we watched two episodes of Jeannie. Chris went to sleep on the couch and I stayed up to read e-mail, then went to bed.

Seed crackers and more seed crackers

Saturday

I got up about 8, having slept ok. Chris wasn't feeling any better than yesterday. I puttered in the kitchen and watered the plants. I ironed fabrics from a while back. I watched sewing videos and took pics of those that might be good for sewing class.

I took a shower and got dressed. I made and ate breakfast, still watching those videos. I walked to the post office in my new boots. I got two packages and some envelops. When I got back, I took out the compost as well. I listened to a video on dental health. That prompted me to check out products with minerals and nanohydroxyapatite. After making some decisions, I placed an order.

I whipped up a batch of seed crackers. I couldn't find the cookie sheet, then remembered it was in the oven with most of the last batch of seed crackers. Sigh. While it baked, I made a salad, adding a few sprigs of plants in the house. I put some sage springs in water to root.

I watched videos and read Telegram messages. I wrote instructions for two of the sewing projects, and saved them in folder with their pics. I worked on my blog, then turned the oven back on to crisp up the seed crackers.

Chris was sleeping in the livingroom so I practiced in the guest room with the door closed. That didn't wake him so I checked to see if he was still breathing. Yes. After hearing him cough, I asked if he wanted to watch TV. We watched one episode of Jeannie. We made our bed, and then I made the guest bed.

Chris went back to sleep on the couch. I stayed up on my laptop until way too late, then put on some sleep cream and went to bed.

I would do wella to get to Tooele

Friday

I got up after 7:30. Chris was still asleep on the couch, so I proceeded quietly to do things in the kitchen. I read some e-mail, and took two supplements 30 minutes apart. I washed up and got dressed. Chris said he felt worse than yesterday and that I would have to drive myself to Tooele. I put gas from the gas cans in my car. One of the cans I needed Chris to figure out how to get the gas to go through the spout.

I packed some cheese squares and a bottle of water. I re-wrote the shopping list so I could easily read it. I scraped ice from my windshield. I found the key I meant to give to Christina. It was on the ground by the front door. Since there was snow on the road, I left before 10.

I don't have a CD player in my car so no book on CD. I sang Christmas songs to myself the whole way to town. I got to the dentist early. I had to wait a bit in the waiting room, then again in the chair. I turned down having x-rays unless they saw something to investigate. The dentist checked my teeth and said they were fine, just wear and tear. Later the hygienist came in and cleaned my teeth with a water jet. It felt like pressure washing. I joked that it came with a free facial as I wiped my face. She seemed to be on the same page of natural solutions as I am.

I paid the self-insured price so my 6-month visit will be free. Then I went to Luckey's to shop, then to Melanie's. I thought I would be picking up a 5-gallon bucket of coconut oil, but it hadn't come. But three bottles of salad dressing did. I got a few other things and paid cash.

I dropped the stuff in my trunk, having forgotten the cooler. I walked to Joanns, but the line discouraged me from getting fabric. There were no Christmas remnants. Then I walked to Cal Ranch, not sure what I wanted there. But when I saw the shoe section, I decided my shoes needed replacing. My feet were cold and a little wet. But they didn't have women's shoes, only boots. A lady tried to help me choose a pair, but I needed more time. (I hate shoe shopping). I tried on many pairs. I wanted a zip-up but they didn't have that. Finally I chose an 8.5 that cost $100. Yikes. But life is too short to wear uncomfortable shoes.

I checked out and drove to Macey's. My list was gone, but I think I remembered what was left. I checked out, put the food in the trunk and went to the $ store. That was fun, especially knowing that Chris wasn't waiting on me. I checked out there, too, and went home, eating cheese squares, then singing whatever songs I could remember.

I stopped at the post office on my way home. Chris went to bed, so I carried in all my purchases by myself. I put some of them away, but others would not fit. I read e-mail for awhile. When Chris got up, he put the rest in the fridge.

I put on my new boots and went to the commissary for pomegranates and kombucha. Chris wanted a chuck roast and limes. I also got persimmons. When I got back, I took scraps out to the compost pile, so happy to have warm, dry feet. I ate a pomegranate and Chris ate a lime. I looked for my Azure Standard order to double check the coconut oil, but it was nowhere to be found. There was a short reference to it in my blog, but no confirming e-mails.

I listened to an interview till 8, then worked on my blog. Chris decided he didn't feel like watching TV, so he went to sleep on the couch. That kept me from watching TV or playing my trombone. I tried to catch up on videos and articles. Then got ready for bed. I used a little of the DIY sleep cream. It might be helping.

LDS Christmas party

Thursday

I got up after 7:30. I brushed and swished. I turned on my phone and responded to some e-mails. I started watering the plants and my phone rang. So I talked to Terri for some time. She wants to start an online Bible study with Jenni and me.

After hanging up, I saw Chris had texted me that he woke up with a sore throat and wanted to stay home tonight. Knowing that, I swabbed my ear canals with hydrogen peroxide. The one on the right, nearest Chris in bed, crackled a bit.

I finished watering the plants. I took out the recycling. I wrote a schedule for taking the new supplements and took the one called Liquid Light. I listened to Russel Brand while reading Telegram messages, then took Fog Cutter.

At 11:30, I took the apple pectin. Later I made breakfast and watched The Highwire while I ate. I took 'notes' with my camera. Del went to a lab to see for himself the unusual white clots embalmers are finding. He also allowed his blood to be taken and smeared on slides. Then drops of four different covid vaccines were dropped on those slides and he examined each one under the microscope. The changes caused to the blood cells looked bad.

At 3:30 I went walking with Michelle. We had a nice chat. While she stayed to talk to the gym staff, I went home and ate a salad with tuna on it. Then I washed up, and changed clothes. I tried on a few shirts before I was satisfied. I cleaned my slide and oiled it. I went to the LDS church, with ice on my windshield. The heater dissolved it on the way.

I parked and took my trombone in. Randy was at the door so we exchanged a few words. I went in the fellowship hall and saw Jenni. We found a table to sit at. A man made announcement and Deb said a prayer. People lined up at tables of food. I had already eaten so I did not go. But later I saw barbequed ribs on Jenni's plate. She encouraged me to get some for later, so I put some between two paper plates.

Then the music started. First up were the children. They sang, some played piano, or bells. Then the youth sang. Christina sang. There was a father/daughter duet. Did they save the best for last? Saronna and I played two hymns, and the program was over. Deb played piano as the entire group sang some Christmas carols. I got teary because there was an old man there who was thin, stooped, with black hair, and had no teeth. He reminded me of my dad.

I put away my trombone. Several people said nice things. Saronna and I discussed tutoring for her daughter. She liked the idea that her daughter would help me with housework as payment.

The ice had reformed on my windshield during the event. I drove very slowly back to post. When I got home, I carried in the trombone and the ribs. I started to teat the ribs, then offered Chris a bite. After I remembered he was sick, I ate from the other end, then let him have the rest. I made tea and we watched several episodes of Jeannie.

Then I played on my laptop, and listened to a song called “Fall on your sword Dr. Fauci”. I worked on my blog. I got sleepy and went to bed.

The freezer is here!

Wednesday

I got up soon after 7:30. I took 2 DGL. I brushed and swished with coconut oil. I set up the coffee pot, etc. I did my exercises and drybrushing. I read with the HappyLight and the PEMF mat.

I did rounds of tapping and meditating. Then I cleaned the bathrooms and started on the kitchen. I finished up the fermented nut cheese and put it in the fridge. Before I could clean the stove, Chris came home for lunch and started cooking something. Sigh. I vacuumed carpeted rooms and dust-mopped floors. I emptied the vacuum cup. I stripped the bed in the guest room. I wet mopped the kitchen floor, then took my shower and got dressed.

I opened the box Chris brought home from the post office. I wrote down a list of the new supplements and the directions for taking them. (Cyber Monday deals). I looked to see where they would fit in the schedule.

I went walking with the ladies. They all showed up today. I gave Michelle the small jar of fermented nut cheese. We all walked, but then Jenni, Diane and Tonja left. Michelle and I kept going for a bit. Then her kids called, so we went downstairs. She talked to the staff for awhile, then went in the weight room and set up the machines for me. I got started while she talked to Brittany. When I finished in that room, I went to the other weight room. Michelle came in to talk a little more, then went home. I finished my rounds, then drove home myself, in the falling snow.

Saronna sent a message that they were leaving Tooele with my freezer. So I went in the garage and moved a few more things. I tried to start the riding mower so I could drive it out of the way, but it would not start.

I put on the latest episode of Brave, all about covid. I turned on the outdoor lights. I hoped Randy could start the mower because I am not strong enough to move it. My back was a little sore from the gym so I sat with a heating pad. I worked on my blog. Chris came home from work. He tried to start the mower but decided the battery needed charging.

As I was listening to something, Saronna sent me a Facebook message. They had arrived! Chris opened the garage door. The mower was gone so he must have pushed it out. Randy backed into the driveway and as close to the garage as possible. Chris helped him carry the freezer to its spot and unboxed it. He said not to start it for two hours and to wipe it down with bakingsoda water to reduce frost.

After they left, we pushed the mower back into the garage and turned off the lights. I made tea and we watched episodes of Jeannie. I read e-mail for awhile, then went to bed.

A dinner for the Germans

Tuesday

I got up before 8, thinking Chris was still here, but he wasn't. I washed up and got dressed. I checked e-mail. I sat against the PEMF mat while listening to episode 8. I ripped off the pocket from the stained shirt and replaced the pocket on the good shirt that had a hole. Then I whipped up seed crackers and put them in the oven. I picked up my book and read on and off.

I was supposed to go help box stuff, but he texted me that he was too tired. So I texted Jamie that we weren't going to do that after all. I replenished the bags of pumpkin and sunflower seeds that go in the seed cracker box. I put on the next bonus episode and looked up the recipe for nut cheese. I read e-mail, then put cashews and sunflower seeds in water to soak.

Before noon, I made breakfast and started eating when Chris came home for lunch. He reminded me that Ravonna speaks German, so I asked him to invite her tonight. I resumed watching on my laptop. At 3:30, I went walking with two other ladies. We had a nice chat, then Diane had to go back to work.

When I got home, I cleaned a space in the garage, and unpacked boxes from the post office. I changed clothes and we went to the LDS church just off post. Michelle and Tiffany had set up a dinner for the German army guys. I didn't realize it was a sit-down dinner/buffet with announcements and singing afterwards.

While I was eating and talking to Johnnie, Michelle said one of the guys requested a guitar, so she and I went to my house to get the one I never play. I went in the garage and hoped it wasn't chewed on or frozen or something. But when we got back to the church, Michelle handed it to the requestor and he seemed happy with it.

The Army commander said a few words, then led a ceremony for a member who got promoted. Then the party broke up. We got into several conversations before we left, and I invited the Germans to come to church on Sunday. Only later did I think about how much snack I would need to bring.

We drove back on post. I jotted notes for my blog. We watched one episode of Pickard. Then I perused e-mail for an hour or so, and went to bed.

Only on Dugway

Monday

I got up around 7:30. My ears were ringing more loudly than usual. I discovered that I hadn't turned my phone off overnight. I puttered in the kitchen. I put ingredients for the sleep cream in the hall bathroom for later.

I sat with my PEMF mat and Happylight. I alternated reading a book with listening to an episode of some documentary series that I haven't had time for all week. There were two bonus episodes with it, so that took all morning.

I made and ate breakfast. I ate fruit while watching podcasts. At 2, I went to an apartment at the owner's request. I had seen his apartment before. He did not ask for a re-quote. We talked about him moving out in January and signing it over to me. I threw leftover squash casserole in the compost, as well as a moldy batch of LAB. I went back to reading e-mail. A man called to ask me to help him box up his stuff. I went to the gym to walk with Michelle. I was trying to get a hold of Jamie and coordinate boxing. She had promised to help Heather. But in the end, she said she'd come tomorrow.

We went to the chapel. I unlocked the door so Michelle could put away ornament boxes. I ended up talking to Jamie and Heather in the street in front of the chapel. (Hey, it's Dugway) We were there long enough to have to stand and face the music for Retreat. Soon after that, we all went home. I made cheese squares, then went back to my laptop. I added movies to my Netflix queue. I listened to How to Talk to Your Legislators so they will Listen. Chris came home from work. I listened to a podcast on the future of humanity, according to the plans of the elites.

I worked on my blog, then made tea. We watched an episode of Pickard and one of Jeannie. Then I went back to my laptop to listen to a set of interviews before getting ready for bed. For the sleep cream, I crushed the powder with the back of a spoon to make a finer powder. But when I put it on, it still felt like the consistency of facial scrub.

Canceled

Sunday

I got up around 8. I brushed and swished. I emptied the dishwasher. I made a strip with a pocket. The long part goes under my laptop and the pocket holds the ends of charging cords, headphone, and a flosser. I rolled the chocolate balls in coconut and packaged them for church. As I was reading e-mail, one told me that there would not be church today because the chaplain was sick. Michelle invited me to come at 2 to practice for the Christmas program.

I made and ate breakfast at the usual time. I read e-mail and listened to podcasts. I got dressed and went to the chapel with my trombone. I had to let the others in.

Only women came and we had a good female bonding session. Just a little singing and discussion of the program. But we didn't leave until after three. The school librarian was there and she said the state gave her $3000 to buy books but stipulated that some of them had to feature girls with girls or boys with boys - if you know what I mean. I was shocked.

When I got home, I had some leftovers, getting ready for the game at 5. But when 5 arrived, the game was called off. Sigh. I messaged Johnnie, who was now in town. I wanted to invite her over, but Chris was not up for visitors.

I continued listening to interviews and piecing puzzles while they played. At 8 I worked on my blog. I made tea and we watched Jeannie. Afterward, I listened to an episode of some 9-part series and went to bed. That's when I wanted to use the DIY sleep cream but was too tired to hunt the ingredients and implements to make a small batch.

Sewing class

Saturday

I got up just before 8, having slept ok until being awakened at o'dark hundred when Chris got up. I brushed and swished. I got online. Chris took a shower and went to a meeting. I made a sample ornament for class. It was not as easy as I thought it would be and I had to stop to watch videos at times. Having unearthed my Christmas scraps, I looked for a scrrap ornament. I made one of those.

Chris came back from the office. I followed him into the bedroom and he gave me a coconut oil massage. Later I took a shower and got dressed. I made and ate breakfast. I got my sewing stuff together and Chris carried the machines out to the car.

We drove to the chapel. I opened the door and he carried the machines in. The table by the outlet was full of boxes of food. He moved the boxes to another table. Then I asked him to go to the post office to see if the new foot pedal had arrived. I started setting up and Tonja came in with her machine. Chris called to say there were no packages at the post office.

She and I finished setting up. She worked on previous sewing class projects in order to catch up. It was after two when Jenni and Isodora arrived. They did the folded fabric ornament, then Tonja made one. We might have finished before 4, but we sat around talking, then packed up. They helped me carry stuff to my car.

I went home to drop it all off. Then I went to the company house and checked each item in the fridge for Best By dates. I threw out everything labeled for 2021. And the dead mouse. When I got home, it was dark. I ate some leftovers from the fridge instead of snacking on nuts. We have a ton of leftovers. I watched sewing videos. One was on how to make plastic 'fabric' by ironing plastic bags. That turned into making 3-D solid objects with super glue and baking soda and graphite.

It was after 8 when I stopped the progression of videos and worked on my blog. I made tea and we watched Jeannie. I got sleepy, but got on my laptop to see who played Roger Healey. Then I read other things and went to bed around 11:30.

Making my own version

Friday

I got up around 8. I brushed and swished. I rinsed my sinuses with citrus drops because my head has been itching again since I went into that dirty house. I dug out my car (it had snowed again) and went to the company house and saw that no one had been there. But there was a live mouse caught in a sticky trap.

When I got home, I found a new jug to put my homemade laundry detergent in because the old one had developed a leak. I saved the liquid from the bottom of the bag and got new bags to put the jug in.

Chris was getting calls and texts relevant to the suicide. I texted Diane and Michelle and Jenni. Jenni wanted to talk, so I called her. We talked about a number of other things, too.

Chris took a shower and went to the office. I read e-mail and fielded texts. I looked at versions of flower pot heaters and resolved to buy tea lights. I clipped the long sugar cane into 4 parts and put them all in off-gassed water. I changed the water in the rooting pots. I made and ate breakfast, refilling mixes as necessary. Chris came back from the office. When I finished eating, I addressed the grocery list. Then We packed the cooler and headed to Tooele, listening to the book on CD.

We shopped at the usual places. I went to Melanie's and told her about the ingredients in Somnium and how I wanted to make a cheaper version (2oz for $150). She helped me pick out alternate ingredients. After that we went to Macey's and then headed home.

After we put the food away, I sat down at my laptop with fruit. I listened to interviews and news clips while piecing puzzles. I worked on my blog. I made tea. We watched like 4 episodes of I Dream of Jeannie. We both fell asleep during the last one. So when I woke to a silent TV, I got ready for bed slowly to not disturb the soporific feeling. I mixed together some of the stuff I bought today and dabbed it behind my ears. The particles from the GABA capsule were too big, like in facial scrub. Chris came to bed as well. It took me a long time to fall asleep.
