We finished cleaning that house

Friday

I woke up early because my hand had fallen asleep and I couldn't wake it up. I got very worried, and realized this happens a lot, but this was the worst it has been. I was afraid to go back to sleep and have it happen again. Finally I got up. I made lemon juice, posted to my blog for Wednesday, and listened to more of The Highwire:

Lawyer filed FOIA request for all clinical trials that FDA used to license flu shots for pregnant women. He had to sue them in court to get them to admit that they did not have ANY, and they have never licensed flu shots for pregnant women. There was only one study of Dtap and autism, and it shows an association. They didn't produce any evidence that any of the vaccines given in the first year of life do not cause autism. Those vaccines given to babies are only reviewed for 5 days for adverse reactions. The lawyer submitted a FOIA for vaccine trials that followed babies for more than a week, but the response was that they could not process that request.

I got to Rusty's house at 9, and started cleaning. Jaime got there at 9:30. She spent at least an hour going over stuff I had already done. Then she worked on the garage and the yard while I tidied up the kitchen and mopped my way to the front door. We wiped down the outside of the door jamb and divided up the stuff that Rusty left in the garage.

We finished just after 1. I made two trips home to carry it all. Chris helped unpack the car the second time. I left some stuff in the car for next week. I ate seed crackers, packed the cooler and we went to Tooele.

We shopped at the usual places. When I went to Melanies, I was measuring nutritional yeast into a bag when the bulk foods section started falling off the wall. It was exciting. When I checked out, I paid by credit card, then remembered it was Cash Friday. Oh well.

When we got back to Dugway, we stopped at the post office for mail, then came home. I put most of the food away, then sat at my laptop and ate jackfruit while catching up on e-mail. I posted to Facebook that the swap shop would be open tomorrow afternoon. Chris called his parents and we all had a nice chat. At 6:30 I went to Jenni's house, but her back was out and she didn't want to walk. So I went home. Later I made a salad, then heated water for tea. We watched two episodes of Person of Interest. I posted to my blog and jotted notes for the next day. Then I read e-mail for too long and went to bed after midnight.

Trunk-or-treat

Thursday

I got up around 8 and made lemon water. I looked in the guest closet to see what garb I had. I texted with Michele while reading e-mail. I went to clean at 9:15. I got a call from another potential customer. I cleaned walls and baseboards. I tried to vacuum the intake grill, but it was too dusty.

I came home for breakfast around 12:20. Chris was here with his Thursday pizza. We talked about garb. He wanted to wear his Mongolian cowboy outfit. I listened to part of The Highwire: Lots of doctors spoke against vaccinating children for covid because of all the unknowns, to the FDA. But the committee recommended it anyway. I paused it to go back to cleaning at 2:15. I cleaned until 4:15, mopping the floor in the bathroom and the dining room, and partly in the den. I mopped some of the kitchen where I had spilled my tea while cleaning the vent over the counter top.

I returned home. I had a bite to eat. Chris came home and changed into his Mongolian cowboy outfit. William called to talk about finding my stuff in Dad's attic. Then I got dressed in Scadian garb. We drove to the chapel, parked, and walked to the school.

Parents were setting up for Trunk-or-treat and the PTSO was setting up to serve food and sell baked goods. Chris and I walked around, looking at the progress and talking to people. Since we were on the judging panel, I noted those displays that had sound effects, an activity, showed creativity, or handed out something other than candy.

At 6 the judges were called over to the bus loop to judge costumes. I did not have checklist for that. Thankfully they called the children forward by age groups and we picked a 1st , 2nd, and 3rd winner from each group. But it was hard and they were all so cute. Then we did the displays. Again, it was hard to narrow it down to 3. Afterward we got into a discussion with the colonel and head of PTSO about having the next Halloween in one of the haunted buildings, like the old clinic.

I got a phone call from the man who called earlier to get his house cleaned next week. He gave me his garage punch code. I walked over to Jaime to see if she wanted to check it out this weedend so we could give him a quote. She wanted to do it immediately. So I gave Chris back his keys and she drove me over to my house to get my keys to open Rusty's house to get the address of the house to be quoted. We went to the address and punched in the code, but it didn't work. She went around back to look in the windows and discovered the back door was unlocked. So we went inside and looked around. The wood floors were bad, as were the toilets and the stove, but everything else was fine, and there were no carpets. We settled on a quote of $500.

She drove back to the school to find her kids. I called Chris (who had gone home) to come get me. Once home, I changed clothes and called the man back to tell him the quote. Then I whipped up a batch of seed crackers and put them in the oven. I made more mixes for next time, noting what I needed more of. I read e-mail until they were done, then turned the oven off and heated tea. We watched two episodes of Person of Interest. Chris and I fell asleep on the couch, so we just went to bed, no blogging.

The back-up

Wednesday

I got up after 8. I prepared coffee, went through special exercises, drybrushing, etc. I did my meditation and tapping. I cleaned both bathrooms and kitchen. I vacuumed the den, living room and bedroom. The Kirby wasn't picking up everything so I checked the beater bar. It was too high. I took the head off and opened it up so I could adjust the beater height. Then it worked great. My mop was over at Rusty's house so I didn't do the kitchen floor.

I read e-mail for awhile, walked to the post office to get the mail, then at 4, went to clean Rusty's house. I swept the second bedroom and shut that door. I cleaned walls and baseboards in the hallway and hall bath until 6. I went home to mop my kitchen and front hall. Chris was at Mass. Then I went to Jenni's house and we walked the mile around the school block. Finally I went home.

Chris was already there. He unboxed a terabyte drive that was delivered today. He said it was for me. He plugged it in and told it to save my data drive. I read e-mail until Chris asked when I wanted to watch TV. I made tea and we watched two episodes of Person of Interest. He paused the second episode to talk about work and our future. He wants to fly to Costa Rica to look at retirement property. I told him that due to vaccine mandates, if I went, then I couldn't come back. He said being stranded in the tropics might not be a bad thing. (He has a point).

Then we finished watching the show. I went back to my laptop. Chris went to bed and I posted to my blog.

No music today

Tuesday

I got up around 8, having slept pretty well. I made lemon water and read e-mail. I went to Rusty's house around 9:15. Later Jaime came over to help. I cleaned the big hall closet. She worked in the laundry room and such. I moved to the master bedroom. She brought her rug cleaner, but it didn't spray, and she couldn't figure out why.

I left her at 12:30. So I made and ate breakfast. Saronna left a message saying she could not play today. I got a text from Rusty asking how it was going and I did not know what to say.

I returned to the house around 2. I mopped the master bathroom floor so I could shut that door. I also finished the baseboards in the mbr and vacuumed it so I could shut that door too. I finished the small bedroom, but did not shut that door because I needed the light to see into the laundry room which had a burned out light. Then I worked in the second bedroom, cleaning walls and baseboards. Jaimie never came back.

At 5:30 I went home. I made a salad for supper. Then I drove to Jenni's house, passing Chris on his way home. Jenni and I walked around the block. Then I returned home. I had some cheese and tomatoes. I read e-mail until time to make tea. We watched two episodes, then talked about Chris' situation at work. Finally I brushed my teeth and went to work on my blog. Chris went to bed, and later, so did I.

Let it blow, let it blow, let it blow

Monday

I got up before 8, not know what time it was. I had not slept that well, possibly because I forgot the magnesium citrate last night. Anyway, it was so windy out that I turned on the router to look at the weather. There was a high wind warning for gusts up to 50mph. I made lemon water and listened to a talk by Dr. Fleming. He showed slides of the spike protein from the virus and from the vaccines. They were not the same except for the prion domain. The mRNA can get into our DNA, into all but three chromosomes.

Fauci is being questioned about cruel experiments done on dogs. Juggling is good for the brain. Training the physical part increases the mental function.

I cleaned the carpet in the den for two hours, then while emptying the vacuum cup outside, the door shut and locked me out. I walked home. Chris was gone, so I made breakfast. He came home for lunch, and said winds in Tooele were 70 to 90 mph.

After lunch, Chris dropped me off at Housing. I signed out another key to Rusty's house. I walked to it and realized I hadn't brought back the filter for the Hoover. I started washing walls in the living room. There were spots on the carpet that I thought were permanent, but when I covered them with a damp cloth and used my iron to steam them, eventually they came off. I am not sure if they were gum or what. After hours of washing walls and baseboards, I started feeling sick. Then I realized that I was using ammonia in the water and a spray cleaner with bleach on the spots. Yikes! Actually, the best cleaner for the hardest spots was #0000 steel wool. So what if it takes a little paint off.

Around 5:30 I came home. The wind had died down and it started to rain. Jenni called to say she couldn't go walking. I didn't feel like walking either. I ate some cherry tomatoes and half a baked potato.

Articles of impeachment were filed against Biden. Yea! I watched a documentary on lead poisoning in children. It is still going on today. It is not just in paint, but also in playground soil. There is no safe level of lead. One teacher had his special ed class checked, and 100% of them had high lead levels. The brain damage is permanent.

At 8 something, I made tea. We watched two episodes of Person of Interest, then I read newsy stuff until I posted to my blog and went to bed.

The things you hear in church

Sunday

We woke up late. Chris gave me a coconut oil massage. I took a shower and got dressed for church. I read e-mail until it was time to leave. We drove to the chapel and had a few minutes to chat before the service started.

While we were singing the first songs, the colonel and his family came in. When the chaplain started speaking, he warned them that the subject matter was a bit intense for children. Indeed, it was about one of David's sons raping his half-sister. It was a bit intense for me.

After the service, we talked to the colonel's wife. Then Chris joined Brian in talking with the colonel. The colonel gave me some stuff for the swap shop. Then we went home so Chris could game with the voices.

I changed my clothes, then made and ate breakfast. I read e-mail while Chris gamed. I washed dishes in the sink. He put potatoes in the oven, then helped me carry the carpet cleaner over to Rusty's house. I read e-mail until time to go walking. I met Jenni and Grace. Then we walked around the school block. I saw extra pumpkins at Jenni's door and knew that Jaime had been there with the pumpkin wagon. I drove home and Jenni arrived soon after, bringing back my tallest shepherd's hook. I promised to see her again tomorrow for walking.

I went back to watching news videos. Later I made tea and we watched two episodes of Person of Interest. I fell asleep on the couch. Chris pulled clean sheets out of the dryer and made the bed. I posted to my blog and did some stretches, then went to bed. I did not use the headphones because I thought I could fall asleep faster on my own, but that was not the case.

Jaime is back ... with pumpkins!

Saturday

I got up around 8. I washed up and got dressed. I brushed and swished, then made lemon water. I read e-mail and checked the latest on Telegram. Nct04368728 at clinicaltrials.gov shows that the Pfizer trial doesn't end until 2023. The package insert on page 7 says the study was unblinded. Study arms each have different dosage. FDA approval for Comirnaty was for 30mg dose for all ages. A true informed consent form is 25 - 30 pages, not the 1 page so-called 'information sheet' that is being handed out at vaccination clinics. Drug companies cannot legally market drugs for off-label uses, but doctors are legally permitted to do that. Trial talks about 2 booster shots. CDC declared in June that the PCR test cannot tell between flu and covid and they are going to replace it in December. Pfizer and the Israeli govt are telling the people that they are not in an experiment.

Jenni and I cleaned from 10am to 1pm. I worried about Jenni working so slowly. We took a break at 1. I went home to make and eat breakfast. We met back at 2. I had to clean the walls in the den after she did because she didn't get all the dirt off. I told her how I was using the magic eraser and she did a beautiful job on one of the bedrooms. I finished the stove and fridge. We knocked off at 5.

I called Jamie from home and she came over with the pumpkin wagon. (She worked at a pumpkin farm this week). She invited me to get a pumpkin and I chose a small but unique one. Then we talked about cleaning. I gave her a tour of my house. I gave her the key to the second house and she went to check it out.

I put the last of the bean soup in the toaster oven. When it was hot, I ate it while reading e-mail. Then I jumped in the car to go walking with Jenni. We walked the mile around the school block. It was quite cold. Then we went home.

I washed and ate some lettuce and pineapple. I read e-mail until almost 9. Then I made tea and we watched TV. I looked up videos on carpet cleaning. Sadly I don't have mineral spirits to get the paint out of Rusty's carpet. I looked up how to shampoo a carpet with my Kirby, but I don't have all those special attachments. I thought I did. I jotted notes for my blog today and posted for yesterday.

The solution

Friday

I got up at 8. I brushed and swished. I made lime water because we were out of lemons. I plugged in my headphones to recharge, and spent the morning catching up on articles and interviews. Here are some of the things I noted:

All kids should be tested for troponin levels after covid vaccination to detect heart issues before symptoms of myocarditis occurs. Dr. Zach Bush has 10 to the 15 viruses in his blood stream. 10 to the 31 viruses in the world. Covid causes a hypoxic injury, antibodies don't help, and air pollution makes it worse.

PCR test only works on DNA and SarsCov2 uses RNA as its genetic code. Govt has a database of PCR test results and is making it available to countries around the world.

I made and ate breakfast and got the shopping list ready. I walked to the post office to pick up some Swanson packages. I placed a chair on the front porch and gave Chris a hair cut. Since the big boss is coming on Monday, I recommended a professional haircut. He said the one I gave him was fine.

He packed the cooler and we went to Tooele. We shopped at Luckey's, then Melanie's. She gave me a website to look at for starting a business. Then we shopped at Maceys and went home. As we were unpacking the food, I saw a text from Brian. When the food was put up, I walked over to their house. Brian showed me the tool he had made (from an allen wrench) to adjust the screw in the knob that controls the flame. He had me try it as well. They were both very happy to have that problem solved. He showed me the trailer that he added bells and whistles to. We talked about cleaning houses, and then I ran home because it was 6:30.

I drove to Jenni's house. Diane was there and we started walking. Jenni caught up. When we reached the one mile mark, we all split up and I went home. I used the new tool to adjust the flame on the smallest burner. I heated some split pea soup with sqeeky cheese on it. The cheese did not melt. I read more articles and then made tea. We watched two episodes of Person of Interest. Seems applicable to what's happening today. I read for a while, then posted to my blog. I discovered that I never hit 'enter' on yesterday's post, so I did that as well.

The problem

Thursday

I got up about 8. I made lemon water and checked my phone for messages. I cleaned the kitchen countertop (since I was not able to clean my own house yesterday). I turned on the router and checked e-mail.

Dr. Immanuel says people are dying the hospitals because they are not getting the right treatments. They are given Remdesivir which knocks out the kidneys, and they are given steroids for long periods of time which destroys immunity. This virus is completely treatable. One legislator is locked out of the building that contains his office (his key card no longer opens the door) because he hasn't presented vaccine papers. This was done by a sub-committee who did not bring it up for a vote. A flu comes on more quickly than a cold.

I texted with Jaime and Jennifer. I washed up and got dressed. I looked online for an implement to adjust the flame on a gas stove. I met Jenni at 10 and we worked on Rusty's house. At 11 I went to sign for another house. I came back and cleaned until 1:15. We broke for two hours for lunch. During that time, the gopher guy came and baited the fresh mounds. He kicked each one over to show it had been baited. But more mounds arose later.

Jenni and I cleaned again from 3 to 5. I went home to eat supper. I took a baggie of tomatoes to Johnnie. I asked Brian if he had a tool for adjusting flame, but he did not. They were happy to get the tomatoes. I am definitely planted them again next year.

I went home and ate more, then walked a mile with Jenni. I took her to Rusty's house to pick up the leftover food. I dropped er off at her house and then went to my place. I read e-mail, and listened to an audio until Chris came home. We had a small chat, I finished listening to the audio, then made tea. We watched TV, then got ready for bed.

3rd day of cleaning

Wednesday

I got up just before 7:30. I prepared for meditation morning with coffee, exercises and music. After two hours, I paused the CD lineup, then showered and got dressed. I met Diane at 11 at Rusty's house. She cleaned the bathrooms and I worked on walls, and in the kitchen. The tops of the cabinets were coated in dust and grease. She left at 3, and I continued until 5. Then I went home to get the DVDs we were done watching, and returned them to the library. I went home. I watched This Week with Polly and Mary: our govt bought millions of doses of vaccine for the 5-11 year olds ahead of authorization of those shots. They provide no benefit for kids.

I drove to the school. Diane was there but Jenni wasn't out. We knocked on her door then waited for her to get ready. The three of us walked around the block, passing the chapel just after they let out from Mass. Chris drove by and waved. I took Diane to Rusty's house. She picked up the pumpkin and some eggs and butter left in the fridge. Then we went to my house where she tried out my inversion table. I lent her my first foam roller and drove her home.

I made tea and we watched two episodes of Person of Interest. Then I read e-mail until I got ready for bed. I fell asleep without the headphones, but it took awhile. I dreamed of eating.

* It takes a lot of elbow grease to get this off. Only thing that scrapes it off is my thumbnail. Ugg. *

Second day of cleaning

Tuesday

I got up at 8:30. I brushed and swished. I made lemon water and got dressed. I went to Rusty's house to start cleaning. I worked mostly in the pantry. It was fairly easy until I got to the bottom where there were lots of stuck-on spots. Then I worked in the master bath cabinet and ceiling.

I went home for breakfast around 12:30. At 1:30 I went to Saronna's to play duets. After an hour or so, we were finished, so I went to clean for a few more hours in the kitchen and the ceiling fan in the den. I came home for supper, and soon it was time to walk. Jenni had said she had a meeting, so just Diane and I walked.

When I got home, I put some split pea soup in the toaster oven, then ran over to Rusty's to boil water. I put the hot water in the oven with a container of ammonia over it. Then I went home to eat the soup. I read e-mail for awhile, then made tea. I jotted notes until Chris was ready, then we watched TV, finishing the season of Dr. Blake. I posted to my blog and only read a little e-mail so I could get to bed at a reasonable time.

The contract

Monday

I got up about 8:30 thinking it was 7:30. I quickly got dressed and ready, then walked over to Rusty's house with a cleaning contract. I was early so I followed Rusty around as he showed me what he was leaving behind. Then the housing people came to check out the place. I spoke to Kristen. We signed the contract and Rusty gave me $800. I asked the people if I had to clean the 14 year old carpet since it needed replacing and they said yes in case they decided not to replace it. Uggh.

Rusty gave me a key and I went over to the housing office with the contract, but the lady said they didn't need to see it. Rusty and his family left. I went home for supplies then back over to the house. I pulled nails out of the walls and made a list of things I didn't have. I went back to get an iron to get the wax out of the carpet, and a cooler for the food in the fridge. I worked until noon, then went home for breakfast. I told Chris about cleaning the worn carpet and he told me to see the head of Public Works. I made breakfast and ate it while reading e-mail. One trucker made a video of himself saying the ports would not allow owner/operators in to pick up cargo, and most truckers are owner/operators.

I called and made an appt with Doral at Public Works at 3. I went back to Rusty's at 2 and cleaned in the bathrooms until time to go. I drove over to E building and talked to Doral, telling him about the carpet and the contract. Then I went back to cleaning until almost 6.

I came home to eat supper and rest. I was about to make a salad when I realized it was 6:30. I jumped in the car and drove over to Jenni's house, but no one was standing around, nor did I see anyone walking. I went home to get my phone and text Jenni. She asked if we could walk at 7, so I said yes and made my salad. I also put some cherry tomatoes in a baggie for her. I cannot eat them as fast as they are ripening.

I went to Jenni's house at 7. We walked around the block. She gave me a gallon of cleaning vinegar that she didn't want anymore. I drove home. I listened to an interview, then made tea and watched two episodes of Dr. Blake with Chris. Then I listened to a tapping audio while typing up my blog. I went to bed late and did not use the headphones.

Cleaning out the garden

Sunday

I got up and searched for the thing I wear around my neck, but it was lost. I went back to bed. I noted that the Air Doctor had red lights on. After Chris got up, I got up and made lemon water. I read e-mail, including a deposition by Dr. Jane Ruby detailing all the ways in which the mrna vaccines have not been properly tested or reviewed. I looked up books of duets for bass clef. I looked up the manual for the Air Doctor and was able to turn the red lights off. I washed up and got dressed for church.

We arrived during the first hymn. We took our seats, then stood and sang, sort of, not knowing the tunes. The chaplain spoke about King David losing his first son by Bathsheba. Afterward, I spoke to Eileen and then we left. Not many people had come and those that did left quickly. When we got home, I changed my clothes, then made and ate breakfast. I read e-mail, then ate a bowl of the split pea soup that Chris made. I looked up how to lower the flame on the lowest setting (for simmering). I tried it but my tiny screw driver was not long enough.

Late in the afternoon, I went outside to flatten some gopher mounds and bait the tunnels. Then I went to the garden to take up all the shoestrings that were used to tie up the tomato plants. I needed a fork to loosen the knots. I also picked up more of the large stones that I used to hold down the sheets, and put all the tomato cages in the gardening shed. As I was about to leave, Heather walked up and started a conversation. She left just before 6:30. So I rushed home to drop off the shoestrings, stones, and five gallon bucket. Then I headed to Jenni's house to join the ladies for a walk. Instead of going around the block, we walked to Rusty's house. He had put out 4 chairs and Grace wanted them. She called her husband to come get them, and we walked back to Jenni's house. Then I went home.

I read an article saying the federal mandate for businesses hasn't gone into effect yet. As soon as it does, many AG's are poised to sue. I made a salad for supper. I read e-mail until Chris was ready. Then I made tea and we watched two episodes of Dr. Blake. I swished while posting to my blog and reading more e-mail, then went to bed.

The wreath class

Saturday.

I woke up at 8. I did some tapping for not feeling like hemming pants. I made lemon water. I searched high and low for the three pairs of pants and found them in a bag on my sewing table. I noted the time, then started measuring and marking and cutting and sewing for about an hour and a half. Some of the narrowing work had already been done two weeks ago. I talked to Chris about how much to charge. Then I sent a note to the lady who owns the pants.

Chris gave me a coconut oil massage. My shoulders and hands really needed it. He took a shower and then I did. I got dressed and brought the sheets in. I made and ate breakfast. I went through my sewing class stuff to see what I needed. I assembled the wreath-making supplies, and cut and tied some tulle strips on. The frame was showing through so I found a box of fabric strips people can cover them with. Done with that, I read more e-mail.

Chris moved my sewing machines to the car. I carried everything else. Jenni was waiting when we got there. Chris moved the machines to the fellowship hall, then went to the commissary. Jenni and I set out the stuff we each brought. Diane came with her son. She made a wreath. Then Grace came and paid me for the pants. She stayed to make a wreath. Michele called during the class to tell me she had taken her machine in and was told it would be $150 to replace the belt and service it. So she bought a new machine from them. She also talked about making a pair of pants into a skirt. Ambitious daughter!

I tried making a wreath but did not like how it turned out. We sat and chatted until 4 then packed up. Diane went home early, but the rest of us went to the swap shop. Grace found something she wanted and she walked home with it. Jenni and I emptied boxes and laid out stuff and hung up clothes. I called Brian to come and get some boxes. After he left, we hung up clothes for awhile longer, then called it a night.

We went home for supper. I ate some cherry tomatoes and fish. Then I put on walking shoes and drove over to Jenni's house. The other ladies were waiting. We walked around the school block, chatting in pairs. Then we discussed all together walking again tomorrow. I drove to the garden and, with pruners, freed the tomato cages and the soaker hose. It went into my trunk. I also rescued three of my large stones. Then I came home.

I whipped up a batch of seed crackers. I ate some cheese sticks with guacamole. I hardboiled the eggs from the previous delivery. I listened to a talk by Dr. David Martin. He said the mandates are not lawful because no drug can be approved and mandated without an internal review board. Then Robert Breedlove spoke on Inflation as theft. No difference between counterfeiting and the govt printing money.

I made tea and waited for Chris. Then we watched one episode of Dr. Blake because it was too late for another. We made the bed together. Then I listened some more and posted to my blog.

Shopping day

Friday

I woke up remembering that I had promised to hem three pairs of pants. I got up and got on my laptop to see if dry ice would clean stains, but there was nothing to that effect. I finished the Dr. Malone interview and listened to another one. I took a break to do a few things, like spraying the stains on the sheets with lemon juice and vinegar as they hung on the fence in the sun. Chris took a shower and went to work. I washed up and started making breakfast while using a really long headphone cable. The laptop by itself was not loud enough. I was eating breakfast when the interview ended.

Last night I had to reboot my laptop because all the sound was gone. When I brought Edge back up, I was able to get those tabs back. Well, today I tried to get back the open tabs from Waterfox and they were all gone. Sigh. Chris still hadn't come home by 2, so I started making cheese sticks. He showed up just before I cracked the eggs, and was ready to go to Tooele. So he packed the cooler and I jotted one last thing on the list and we went.

We listened to the book on CD. When we got to Luckey's, we found a few things there, but the lines were long to check out. So I let Chris check out while I walked to Melanies. There was a guy giving out samples of supplements. So I accepted some. I got what I could remember from the list and wished I had gotten the list from Chris. After I checked out, I put my stuff in the car (which Chris had moved closer to me), and went to Joanns to look for floral wire. I also got some red tulle. Then we went to Macey's. Chris asked me for the list and I said he hadn't given it to me. But neither of us had it. So we got what we could remember. As he stood in line, I walked over to Harbor Freight to get a new trowel, but their's were not impressive. So I went to the $ store. I got two more wreath forms. But no trowels, or scissors or garlic press. And then we went home.

We stopped at the post office but there was no mail. We unloaded the food. Chris put fish in the oven to cook. I was going to finish making the cheese sticks. As he was getting a beer from the fridge, a door shelf fell out and there was beer and broken glass all over the floor. He told me to not move and he picked up all the glass and mopped up the beer. (He was not a happy camper). Then I beat 3 eggs and divided it into the two batches of cheese. I spread one on the parchment paper and put it in the oven to bake (same temp as the fish). I mixed up the second batch and mopped the floor.

Then I listened to a gardening audio until the timer rang. I took it out, but it was kind of stuck to the paper. So Chris moved it with the paper and I put a fresh sheet on and baked the other batch. Last time I baked it all at once, but in two batches I get more of the crispy edge.

When the fish came out, I ate some of that, then bundled up to go walking. I drove over to Jenni's house and parked at the school. Diane was there. We knocked on Jenni's door, but she didn't answer. So we went walking by ourselves. Diane told me all about dog sledding and other things in Alaska. When we got back to my car, I gave Diane the eggs and I went to the garden to pick up plastic jugs and the soaker hose. As I was trying to detangle it from the tomato plants, Jenni walked up. So I walked with her around the same block and left her at her house. I ran toward the garden as far as I could, then walked the rest of the way. I put the garden stuff in my trunk and went home.

I sliced off another strip of cheese, and put the fish away. I jotted notes for my blog. We watched the last episode of Person of Interest and the first episode of Dr. Blake. I read a few articles and went to bed.

Fun with dry ice

Thursday

I got up around 8 and made lemon water. I brushed and swished. The sheets in the washer were still not clean. I sprayed them with hydrogen peroxide and washed that load again. I read e-mail and started watching This Week with Polly and Mary. I paused it when the washer finished. Still not clean. I made up a bottle of Dawn and hydrogen peroxide. I sprayed two sheets and washed only those. Then I sprayed the sheets that are waiting their turn. I mended the bag and pinned the seat cover strap for later.

I made and ate breakfast while watching The Highwire. Pfizer is coming out with a drug that works like ivermectin but costs $700 for a 5 day treatment vs $40 for ivermectin. I paused it when Chris came home for lunch. He brought in a package from the front porch which had dry ice in it. I looked up fun things to do with dry ice. There was also fish in the box which went into the freezer. I checked the sheets and they were still dirty, like with loose dirt. I hung the sheets outside to dry so I could shake them off. I listened to several other videos. Michele called, still having trouble with her machine. We investigated together and decided that she needs to take it somewhere.

I looked for an appropriate pic of a tulle wreath, then posted about the class to the Dugway Facebook page. I went outside to sweep up all the nails and staples from the wood. Then I dug up the largest gopher mound that we've had yet. I had quite a time finding the tunnel, but when I did, I gave them plenty of bait and dog feces.

I spread the cherry tomatoes from the garden out to ripen. There are so many it was hard to find places for them all. I put some in a bag for Jenni. Also, I laid out the sweet potatoes, white potatoes and onions in the garage to cure.

I put the bag of tomatoes and two dozen eggs in the car. I went over to Jenni's house to walk. I gave her the cherry tomatoes and she gave me a bag of slightly larger tomatoes. Diane did not come. Jenni and I walked around the block, having a normal chat. Then she showed me all the wreath stuff she bought at the dollar store for the class I am giving on Saturday. She didn't need to do that. Afterward, I drove past Diane's house, but wasn't sure in the dark which one it was, so I went home.

Chris was home with a pizza. I put some dry ice in a jar of hot soapy water and watched the smoky bubbles come out. I read e-mail for a while and had some of Jenni's tomatoes and a tiny slice of his pizza. Then I made tea and we watched two episodes. I read more, then posted to my blog. I listened to part of an interview with Robert Malone, then went to bed.

Vaccinating during a pandemic creates superbugs. Risk benefit ratio for young people doesn't justify jabbing them. Recent studies suggest it may not justify jabbing older folks either. Natural immunity is more protective and longer-lasting than vaccine immunity. Govt threw away laws and regulations in order to address crisis more quickly. Dr. Malone got the Moderna vaccine early on because there were rumors saying it might help with long haul covid, but he developed stage 3 hypertension, RLS, narcolepsy and other symptoms associated with the vaccine. New data suggests not only does the vaccine not help with longhaul covid, it causes more adverse events in people who were previously infected. Current mRNA vaccines are not matched to the current strain so the efficacy info is old. Also they don't last very long, they are not effective at preventing infections, and vaccinated people carry the same viral load as unvaccinated people, so there is no reason to mandate the vaccine. Vaccines hide symptoms. The vaccinated who get infected but don't know it, will the superspreaders. Even with 100% masking and vaccination, all we could hope for is to slow the spread because Delta is so much more infectious and the vaccines are 'leaky'. In 1984 it was entered into the Federal Register that any information that would lead someone to not get vaccinated would be suppressed, whether true or not. The Pope and Fauci have quite a close relationship. Fauci will never say he made a mistake. Vaccines are being used as leverage by pharma companies and governments. A story went viral of a hospital full of patients who had taken ivermectin, but when the hospital was asked, they said it wasn't true. Drug companies have rigorous terms about using their vaccines. You have to promise not to test them, and to hold them harmless if anything goes wrong even if what they gave you was rubbish. Dr. Malone suggests getting your vit D level checked. Supplement it now. 450,000 excess deaths due to suppression of early treatments including ivermectin and HCQ.

New shelving for the swap shop

Wednesday

I think I slept pretty well. Chris was gone when I woke up. I prepared for the usual meditation morning with coffee and exercise. I put on the CD lineup, skipping the first CD. I read for 20 minutes with the Happylight, then meditated and tapped. Then I started cleaning. Chris came home for lunch before the music ended.

I was cleaning in the kitchen when Brian called. He wanted me to go to the landfill with him to offload the bad wood and see some shelving that he noticed was there last week. He gave me half an hour, so I got ready, then continued cleaning until I saw his truck drive up. I ran out to meet him. I got in his vehicle which was towing a shallow trailer. We went to the landfill and threw out the wood onto a very large pile of excess wood. Then he drove over to the metal pile. There were a number of metal shelving units that had been thrown out. Most were very shallow, but we picked out 5 which were 8 to 10 inches deep. Together we got them on the trailer. We also found some extension ladders which were missing a rope. We took the best of the two.

We went back to my house for the swap shop key and a dolly/trolley. Then we went to the swap shop, which is in the post office building, and found stuff to hold the doors open. Then we used the trolley to get the shelving units into the room I intended to set them up in. We took a break during which I went home to get water and use the bathroom. He went home to get tools. After some discussion, we decided to make a square with the 4 eight-inch units. I had scavenged some screws from the site and Brian brought more. I did my best to help or stay out of the way as he bolted the units together. There were some bent parts which he knocked into place with a hammer. Then we moved an existing shelf, and put up the 12 inch unit. It made a mess but we were both tired. He took me home and dropped off the trolley.

I checked my phone and saw that Jenni and Michele had called. So I called Jenni back. She was shopping for wreath stuff. Michele was having trouble with her sewing machine and I gave her my best advice. Then I put a shovel in the car and went to the garden. I dug up all the sweet potato plants. Only two, the very first and very last, had potatoes. I also found 2 white potatoes and a handful of small red potatoes. These were from plants I haven't seen in months since they got covered up by bigger plants. Then I started picking tomatoes. I picked them all, except for the soft ones that probably got frozen. I filled a bag, a medium size planter and part of a very large planter. Just before I left, I dug up a bunch of onions that Jenni had told me I could.

It was 6:15 and I wondered if I should wait for the ladies to arrive for walking. But I was cold, so I went home and made hot tea. Chris was there and helped me take the dirty sheets from my trunk, plus all the veggies I had picked. There wasn't time to drink the tea so I poured it into a kombucha bottle and drove back to the garden. The ladies were already there. As we walked around the school block, I held the super hot bottle to my chest to keep warm. When it cooled down enough, I drank it. We came back around to Jenni's van and stood talking. Finally we all went home.

Chris was still gone to the colonel's house for supper when I got back. I put half the sheets in the washing machine. I made a Swansons order. I read e-mail and watched videos. I jotted notes for my blog. At 11pm, Chris still wasn't home. I called him and there was no answer. I moved the sheets to the dryer and started putting more sheets in the washer. I heard something and went to check. Chris was home. He told me how wonderful I was and that the colonel said so too. Chris gave me two items that the colonel wants mended. Chris also brought home 4 dozen eggs from the lady who raises chickens and cattle on the side. He spoke for some time. I finished putting sheets in the washer and added borax because the sheets were still stained. I took the dry ones from the dryer. I posted to my blog, stretched, and went to bed.

Reclaiming the wood

Tuesday

I got up before 7:30, hearing the wind and worried about the pillowcases blowing off of the tomato plant. I got dressed to check and it was fine. I read e-mail and articles. Johnnie called to tell me to look outside. It was snowing (although it did not accumulate).

I watched a video medley of interviews with doctors : numerous reports of myocarditis in younger people, damaged heart cells replace themselves with scar cells, so those people will have that damage for the rest of their life. Only 25% of vaccine stays in the arm. The rest travels through the blood stream, attaching to blood vessel walls and making spike proteins. The spikes make the vessel wall rough, so platelets have a harder time getting through, especially in capillaries. Therefore clots are inevitable. He tests his patients with D-dimer within one week of vaccination, and 62% show evidence of clotting. It causes damage to tissues that cannot regenerate. Miscarriage rate of women vaccinated in first trimester goes from a normal of 10% up to 80%. Spike antibodies are in the blood, not in the lungs where the virus starts corrupting the cells.

I parsed out supplements for the next two weeks and then made and ate breakfast. At 1:30 I went over to Saronna's house to play trombone to her string base. It went fairly well. Afterward, I went to the garden to check on the plants. They had survived. But I took the sheets off of the squash because they were not big enough to pick and were rotting at the ends.

I moved some stuff in the garage to make room, then re-parked my car to leave the garage entrance clear. Brian came by with his trailer. We went over to Diane's house to pick up the wood from the moving crates. Her husband helped Brian load it. Then we went back to my driveway. I thought we would just unload it, but Brian said we should sort the wood based on condition, and take out nails and staples. This was a bigger job than I expected. We rescued some flat pieces and some 2x4's. The rest went back on his trailer for a trip to the landfill. Some of the edges were so full of staples and nails that we set up the table saw and cut those part off. Chris came home from work, changed his clothes and went over to the colonel's house for supper. After Brian left, I put the 2x4s in the garage, swept the driveway and closed the garage. There were still nails to be picked up, but I was so tired I could barely stand up.

I ate supper and read e-mail, and listened to interviews. I washed off the red mark that the chisel left on my arm and put ozone cream on it. I sat against a heating pad as I jotted notes for my blog. Chris came home before 10 and we watched one episode. I posted to my blog and read e-mail, then went to bed.

Releasing stuff from the swap shop

Monday

I woke up hearing Reveille, but went back to sleep. Then I heard the 7:30 alarm, and dozed until the 8:30 alarm. I got up, having slept well - no RLS. I watered the plants. Chris turned on the router. I read about inhaling a mist of H2O2 to kill viruses in the lungs. The same site (Earth Clinic) noted the experiences of lots of people who get sinus trouble after eating ice cream. It is thought to be something in the 'natural flavors'. From the site I made a list of things to try next time I get RLS.

I went to the garden to uncover the tomatoes and pick up the water container. Back home, I checked my phone and saw a pic of the sweet potato Johnnie had just dug up. I texted back then started making breakfast. When she replied, I put some tomatoes in a bag and went over there. Brian was outside so I asked him about picking up some wood for me. Then I went to the door. Johnnie let me in. I gave her the tomatoes and we talked for awhile. Brian came in for water and joined the conversation. He wanted to go to the swap shop so I agreed to meet him there after breakfast.

I jogged home and finished making breakfast. I read e-mail as I ate. I texted Johnnie, then walked out toward the swap shop. She and Brian picked me up on the way. I let them in with my key and he went through the boxes and made a pile of stuff. We all carried stuff out to his car. They drove home and I walked back.

Chris was ready to go. I put a few more things on the shopping list and we went to Tooele, listening to the book on CD. In addition to the usual places, I went to Joanns and the dollar store. I got wreath forms and tulle for class. In Luckeys, people were buying flats of soup. Because of snow? Then we went home. I brought the food in and we put it away. Then I boiled water and poured it into jars which were inside padded plastic containers. They were more padded than yesterday to stop the heat from leaking out so fast. I also got two old towels to wrap them in. Then I dressed warmly and went to the garden. I placed the boiled water containers, picked as many tomatoes as I could, then covered it all up as best I could. I could see the wind blowing the sheets out of place, so I went home for more sheets and safety pins. I went back to the garden and covered the open spots as best I could. Then I gave them over to God and went home.

It was almost 6:30. I sent Jenni a message saying it was too cold to walk. I brought in a bunch of outdoor potted plants. I had some leftover fish for supper, plus seed crackers with mashed avocado. I read articles, updated my mp3 tracks, then made tea. Chris was dealing with impending weather influences on job opening times tomorrow morning. Snow is expected. So we got a late start on watching TV. But he still elected to watch two episodes of Person of Interest. Then we dressed the bed with clean sheets. I listened to a few interviews, then posted to my blog and read for a while before going to bed.

Flights are being diverted for pilots or passengers having chest pain. A pilot died during flight and had told the copilot that he just got his second shot. Unjabbed crew say they don't feel well when working with jabbed crew.

More stuff for the swap shop

Sunday:

We got up just before 9. I had slept fairly well, but woke up several times during the night for no discernible reason. I drank a lot of water, then brushed and swished. I washed some dishes and wiped the countertops. I read e-mail. I watched a video as a lady took a magnet to the beach and it scarfed up what I thought was black sand. She thought it was graphene oxide from masks thrown into the ocean.

I checked the weather. By Tuesday it will be in the low 20's. Bye bye tomatoes. I watched an 8 minute video which consisted of various farmers explaining that the govt was paying them 1.5 times what their crops are worth to destroy them, and refusing to pay subsidies if they don't destroy them. One man said he got a letter from the govt instructing him to dump oil on the roads of his farm. He called for confirmation and was told to follow the letter. Another man said he was given two options: destroy it himself or let the govt spray agent orange on it. So he mowed it under. Another man showed the USDA letter and their binder of instructions on how to destroy his crop.

I showered and dressed, then went to the garden to uncover the tomatoes. When I got back, I read some more, then we got in Chris' car and went to the chapel. Mike, the guitarist, told me how he had mixed me up with the mother of one of his students. He has hardly ever spoken to me before so I did not pay attention to the countdown. When the chaplain started speaking, I rushed to get to my seat beside Chris. The colonel and his wife sat behind us. As usual, we sang three songs, and then the chaplain spoke about King David and Bathsheba. Afterward, I talked to Johnnie, and Chris talked to the colonel.

As we drove home, Chris said the colonel had stuff to drop at the swap shop. So I changed clothes and walked over to Rusty's house to get the key back. We talked for awhile. When I got back, I made and ate breakfast, and read e-mail. I drove my car back and forth over where some large gopher mounds had been to collapose all the tunnels, then put the dirt in the low places.

Chris got a text from the colonel. We drove over to his house and Chris helped him load the truck. I spoke with his wife and she gave me a book to read. Then I followed them to the swap shop. Chris helped him unload. She helped me move a table into the other room. Rusty had left things nicely laid out. The colonel wanted to walk around the post office complex and see what services used to be there (like Subway, barbar shop, mommy and me class, credit union, etc, )

When we got home, Chris cooked beets in the rice cooker and fish in the oven. I ate supper and read e-mail. Then I went to the garden with hot water. I picked a bunch of tomatoes, then covered the vines with sheets, leaving the container of water to heat it. The ladies arrived and we walked around the block, talking. But soon after that, we went home. I read articles online, then made tea and we watched two episodes of Person of Interest. After that, I posted to my blog for Saturday, then listened to another interview. Dr. Lyons-Weiler said the spike protein is cytotoxic.

On the way home

Saturday: We slept in. RLS did not bother me. We got up after 8. We washed up and walked to the lodge for breakfast. Standing in line, Chris asked me for a $5 so he could get ones. But I didn't have my wallet. So when we left after eating, we did not leave a tip. We paid with a hotel voucher.

We packed up, then read e-mail until 10:30. Then we moved our stuff to the car and looked around the room to make sure nothing was forgotten. We left the card keys on the dresser and shut the door.

Chris programmed the GPS in his phone and we headed out. We listened to more of the book on CD. Actually there are five books in the CD set, which is good so we didn't run out. His GPS messed up several times, but we made it back to base in 4 hours. We stopped at the post office. Chris went in and came out with a pile of packages as well as mail. Then we went home. Chris' first stop was the bathroom. I was glad to be back in a place with two bathrooms. After my pit stop, I unloaded as much of the car as I could. I opened the packages from the mail, and put away food from the trip. I also unpacked my suitcase. I looked around our property and saw that it had rained and there was an explosion of gopher activity. Sigh.

I boiled water and put it in a bubblewrap-lined container. I took it to the garden and put it among the tomato vines. Then I covered them with the sheets, which were soaked from the rain. I crossed my fingers and went home.

I called Johnnie to let her know we were back. She sounded like she had been napping, so I did not talk long. Then I called Diane and Jenni to see if they wanted to walk at 6:30. I ate some seed crackers with salsa, then jotted notes for my blog.

I arrived at the garden just as Diane was walking up. Soon Jenni drove up as well. The three of us walked around the school block and back to the garden. We kept talking for awhile and I got cold. Then we dispersed.

When I got home, I read more e-mail. Then I made tea and we watched two episodes of Person of Interest. Afterward, I brushed my teeth and listened to part of a presentation on the vaccine research, then went to bed about midnight.

Vaccine doesn't stay in the arm like it was supposed to, trains your system to find spike so well that your system is less able to find variants, saves lives from covid but takes lives through side effects.

A trip to the pool

Friday

We woke up around 8. Chris showered and got dressed and went to the lodge for the breakfast buffet. I stayed in the room and made my own breakfast. I watched The Highwire episode from yesterday:

From the Jan 2020 meeting of the WHO: Dr. Heidi Larson, anthropologist, director of vaccine confidence project addressing the WHO: We're in a very fragile state now. We've shifted the world's population to dependency on vaccine-induced immunity. We don't have a choice but to make that effort. We need much more investment in safety science. Another doctor said we don't add adjuvants to vaccines because we want to, but because that makes them work. They are also what adverse events are attributed to. Adjuvants ramp up immunogenicity, could they ramp up the immune system in a bad way? Adjuvants give a different response depending on the antigen they are given with. So we should do these studies with adequate size and strength to find systemic adverse events. We need to invest in better biomarkers, better understanding of how these things work so we can better understand adverse events as they come up. But long term studies might show associations with symptoms that are coincidental. Q: safety of multiple adjuvants from different manufacturers given at same time? A: the current vaccine schedule makes it difficult to tease that out. We have started an initiative to look at these types of questions. Chief science officer: “We cannot overemphasize the fact that we really don't have good safety monitoring systems in many countries and this adds to the misconceptions because we aren't able to give clearcut answers when people ask questions about deaths due to a particular vaccine...”

From ACIP meeting: until we have a study of covid vaccines in pregnant women, it's use should be considered off-label. ICAN filed a FOIA request for studies of flu and tdap vaccines in pregnant women and the response was “We have no records responsive to your request”. We have no data on the safety of giving several vaccines as once, so our policy to to give them in different limbs.

We spent most of the afternoon on our laptops. Then I went looking for my pool pass. I could not find it anywhere. So I packed a purse and asked Chris to take me to the lodge (as it was raining). He took me there about 4. I changed in the bathroom there and then grabbed a towel and put my stuff in a chair by the pool. The hot tub was full of kids. So I swam laps for awhile, about 14 I think. There was some space in the hot tub, so I sat in for awhile. But I could not see the bottom which made me think the water was dirty. Also the chlorine smell was heavy. I got out and swam 16 laps. I sat in the hot tub again, and when I got out it was 10 till 5. I swam two more laps in the cool pool, then went to the bathroom to change. It was not well set up for that, having no place to sit or hang things.

I headed toward the front door of the lodge and met Chris coming in. We got in line for dinner and were soon seated. I got the hot bar, which cost more than salad bar, but I wanted to try the pecan pork. Sadly, it did not taste like pecans. Chris got the soup and salad bar. As we ate, he read something on his phone. Finally we got the check, paid, and left. Chris drove to the gas station to fill up for tomorrow. Then we went back to the room.

I ate half a banana, then checked e-mail again. I made tea and refilled my water bottles. At 8:30 I paused what I was watching online and ate the second half of the banana. When Chris was ready, we watched one episode of a new drama called Sisyphus. Then I posted to my blog and we watched a second episode before going to bed.

The long and winding road

Thursday It was a long night. First my left leg woke me up with RLS, and hours later, my right leg did the same. I tried everything I could think of, including tapping, energy clearing, lymph-moving exercises, and a banana. Sitting up in bed seemed to help. And standing up, I felt no twinges. If I were 7 of 9, I could sleep standing up. For once, it might pay to be assimilated.

We woke up around 8. Chris showered and got dressed and went to the lodge for the breakfast buffet. I stayed in the room and made my own breakfast. I listened to a whistleblower from Pfizer explain an internal memo asking employees not to talk about the fetal cell line used in laboratory tests for the vaccine program. Chris came back from breakfast. He opened a can of coconut milk for me with his p38. I added it to my jar of fermented coconut milk.

Around 10 we got in the car and drove out to Rainbow Point. We could see more than last time, but still not to the rim of the Grand Canyon. On the way back we stopped at some other lookout points to take pics. Then we went to Sunset Point. From there we walked the Queen's Garden trail. It was less than 5 km, and since I had just walked a 5K with no problem, I thought 'no problem'. But the trail went down into the ho-do's and back up the other side. It was beautiful scenery, but I was wiped out at the end.

We walked back to the car and drove back to our room. Although we skipped lunch all week, I felt I needed something. So I ate slices of cheese and seed crackers. Then I laid down to nap. Actually I had to nap sitting up, but still it was nice to sleep. I woke up at quarter of 5. We got ready and walked over to the lodge for supper. I got the soup and salad buffet and he got the country fried steak. Our waitress was from Bulgaria. Afterward, we walked back, stopping at the rock shop. An older man was cutting open a geode and explaining all the shades of rock and crystal inside. There were many fascinating rocks there, but ultimately what do you do with them?

We walked back to the room. I made tea and read e-mail and memes. We watched two episodes of Lucifer. The last one was clearly the end of the show for all time, so Chris looked for something else we could watch tomorrow. Then I downloaded 75 pics from my phone. I cropped most of them. I posted to my blog for yesterday.

Our 31st anniversary

Wednesday I felt ok when I went to bed, but then RLS kicked in with the other leg. But after awhile I fell asleep and slept pretty well. In the morning, I got up and took a shower. Then Chris took his shower and I started making my breakfast in case not having it was leading to RLS. I encouraged Chris to go to breakfast at the lodge by himself. I did not have a bowl big enough for the breakfast mix so I used the tin coffee pot. I ate and read e-mail. I washed out the coffee pot. I looked up quick and easy wreaths online because a lady on base wants to attend a wreath class. The best one I saw was weaving burlap ribbon onto a coathanger frame. Cheap and not too time-consuming. Not all that pretty but people can add whatever decorations they want. Also saw wreaths made from cutting up sweaters. We have sweaters at the swap shop. But those use a wire wreath form.

Chris came back from breakfast. He said it was cold outside. He suggested we take the shuttle to the visitor's center. But we would have to wait in line outside. Hmmm. We read e-mail for hours. We walked to the lodge about 3:30. We waited for the shuttle and then rode it (overpowering with the smell of disinfectant) to the visitors center. We walked around looking at native american exhibits and geological displays. We watched the movie, which talked about the geological and human history of the area. They said the night sky is particulary good in Bryce Canyon. I looked at shirts, but my size was sold out. Chris talked to one of the employees about their federal housing.

Then we went across the street, and caught the shuttle back. We walked to the general store. I found a t-shirt in my size and Chris found bananas for me. They had quite a collection of foods and other things campers would need. Then we checked out and went back to the room. I watched videos about the latest news.

Then we got dressed and walked to Ebenezer Barn and Grill for dinner. We reserved seats yesterday and indicated which meal we wanted. They were all the same except for the meat. I got salmon and Chris got the vegetarian, which meant that he had a baked potato instead. Sides included baked beans, coleslaw, and mashed potatoes. I picked up a dessert so Chris could have an extra. We were seated with a nice older couple having their 3 month anniversary. As we ate, the live band played country music. Most of the songs I did not know, nor could I tell what the words were. If we were sitting up front, we would have been blasted by the speakers. There was an electronic screen behind them which was showing old west scenes and advertisements. The last song was Country Roads. It made me cry because I remember playing it with Dad on the stage of Chrysler Hall.

I walked back with Chris, chilly. I made tea, and we watched one episode of Lucifer. Then I drank the tea and took melatonin. I jotted notes for today, and posted for yesterday. (I forgot to mention that William called twice today. His anniversary was yesterday).

A walk in the clouds

Tuesday: I had a hard time getting to sleep last night even after nodding off in front of the TV. RLS kicked in. I used the headphones and ran through the track twice. Finally I turned over and folded my legs under me, which dampened the sensations. I am not sure when I got to sleep, but I woke up several times to use the bathroom and went back to sleep.

My alarm woke us up at 7:30 and Chris asked me to turn it off for the rest of the week. I stayed in bed while he showered, then I washed up and got dressed. It was raining so we drove to the lodge for the breakfast buffet. I got scrambled eggs and oatmeal. We didn't talk much as we ate. Then Chris left to use the restroom. I stayed a little longer, then left and went to the general store to look around. Chris found me there.

We went to the desk to sign up for the virtual tour. The new lady waited to talk to the experienced one who said to just go over there. So we walked over to Soaring Southern Utah building. There were 4 sets of motorized chairs with goggles. We had a choice of two experiences: soaring over canyons, or a rollercoaster ride. It was only $16 each for both so we got the two. We strapped into a set of seats and put on goggles with headphones. Soon we were soaring in a helicopter over canyons and waterways. Unlike watching TV, you could look up, down and around behind. I could see the helicopter blades above me and moving landscape where my lap should have been. It made me laugh.

Then, I was sitting in a wooden chair, staring at a table in a saloon, seeing playing cards. When the program finished initializing, a man was sitting across from me. He told me that a great treasure had been hidden in a cave. Many had gone looking for it, but no one had ever come back. Then I was in a wooden cart on a train track going into the mountain. Strangers were calling out warnings. Rats ran through the tunnels and one popped up into the cart! It soon disappeared. Skulls floated around, skeletons were here and there. Montezuma's head warned us of impending doom (in English even!). The tracks went way up and steeply down and all around. The seats were moving along with it, but the lack of g-forces gave me just enough slack not to be scared. Unlike the helicopter ride, there wasn't a cold wind blowing, but the sound was too loud. Finally we went through a treasure room, and then out of the mountain. The view changed suddenly into the same saloon room as before. There were gold coins sitting in front of me and the man across the table ordered me a drink from the barkeep. I was expecting him to congratulate me on being the first to come out alive, but he didn't.

After the 'ride', the lady took our headsets off. I mentioned the wind and the volume. Chris said he felt a little nauseous. We went back to the lodge to check out the old timey photo place. They had a rack of clothing and boots to dress up in, but I did not feel like dressing up and Chris wanted to lie down. So we went back to our motel. Chris laid down while I jotted notes for my blog and posted for Sunday. While he slept, I read articles and watched videos. One was of a piece of pork covered with Pepsi. In less than 3 minutes, parasites crawled out. Ewww!

Dr. Zandre Botha (live and dried blood analyst) showed slides of what she found in the blood of vaccinated people with symptoms, and in a vial of vaccine. She and a colleague had similar symptoms after working with vaccinated blood. Dr. David Martin, who is also a patent lawyer, says there is nothing new about the virus or the vaccines or treatments, tech was patented 30 years ago. An order of magnitude more patents for covid than for H1N1 or ebola. $191B was funneled through Fauci's fingers since he became head of NAID and yet allergies and infectious diseases have risen 60X. Moderna was on record for violating the Bayh-Dole Act 141 times when Fauci picked them to be the front runner last year. No medical treatment under trial can be compelled upon the population, and this trial doesn't end until 2023. Social Security runs out of money in 2028. So does the drug industry because SS is paying for the drug dependency of this country. We can find no excess death evidence for 2020 in the life insurance claims filed. In fact, fewer claims were filed in 2020 than in 2019. A bigger morbidity than mortality event. Fauci is pushing for a universal childhood influenza vaccine. There is no clinical evidence that such a vaccine is necessary. Because older people will be sicker, they will deplete SS even faster.

Dr. Ruby says the CDC wants owners to jab their pets (even though chance of transmission is low) but not to mask them because it is bad for them.

We drove to the Visitor's Center. But the parking was limited to an hour and there was a line to get in. I guess lots of people wanted to do that on a rainy day. So instead, we drove out to Rainbow Point. There wasn't much to see because of the fog. We took a few pics and breathed in the clouds. On the way back, we stopped at several lookout points. Again, we could not see much and the weather was in the 40's. I wished I had brought warmer clothes.

When we got back, I read e-mail for a bit, then we ate Chris' leftover chicken and ribs. I contributed cherry tomatoes from our garden. Then we went to the buffet for dessert. Chris got the dessert buffet and a piece of pecan cheesecake for me. It was so good that I considered having a “When Harry Met Sally” moment. But I didn't want to embarrass him. I had about 6 small bites, each savored as long as possible. Chris ate some and we took the rest back to our room. It was raining again.

We played on our computers for awhile, then I made tea. We watched two episodes of Lucifer. RLS set in, so I looked up diet and RLS. Healthline said it had to do with iron levels, and maybe potassium. So I ate two bananas and some almonds. I posted to my blog, then read until time for bed.

Monday The night was long because I couldn't sleep. My ears were ringing loudly, even though the place was quiet. I ran the headphone tracks three times. I watched the clock turn to 3 am. I got up and covered digital displays in the room, but then the light around the window seemed brighter. I stacked up all the pillows so that I was sitting up in bed. It was fine for awhile, but eventually I pushed them away and laid prone.

I was sleeping when my alarm went off at 7:30. I tried to go back to sleep. Chris suggested we could check out and find another hotel. We washed up and got dressed. I took some creatine monohydrate which is supposed to mitigate the effects of not enough sleep.

We walked across the street (longer than it sounds) to the main lodge and got in line for breakfast. There was an Indian lady behind us who was there by herself so we invited her to eat with us. We ate from the buffet and had a nice conversation with her. She was about Michele's age. If she were in India, her mother would be nagging her about getting married. Afterward, Chris went to the bathroom and I looked around the lobby. I got a key card to the pool and went to check it out. Chris found me there. We checked out the virtual canyon tour, but they were too short-staffed to run it at the moment. We walked back, pausing at the rock shop to talk to a couple there. We took pics of them and they took pics of us. Finally we completed our walk to the room at the motel.

After some downtime, we went to the lodge to buy tickets to ride the shuttle bus. But they told Chris he could just use his army ID and we could get on for free. We waited for the shuttle and talked to ladies at the bus stop. We rode the bus into the park, got off at the second stop and walked around the rim. We stopped to take pics and to talk to people. We met people from all over the US and the world. He practiced his French and Korean. I asked them what lockdowns were like in their country.

We rode the bus back from the next stop, but when we got to the park entrance, the driver talked about sanitizing the bus and said we could cross the street and get on that bus. But that entailed another ride through all the stops of the park. Finally we came out to Ruby Inn. We got off so that bus could be sanitized, and we walked back to our room which wasn't all that far away.

I tried to take a nap, but each time I was about to nod off, Chris' phone would beep or tweet or ding. Finally I got up, put my shoes on, and ate the last bite of pork left from yesterday. I jotted notes for my blog and then we walked over to the lodge for supper. Chris got the ribs and I got the soup and salad bar. The salmon soup was salty and the tomato basil was fine, but thin. We skipped dessert. The bill was almost $50. Then we checked out the pictures in the hallway of the canyon. They were just gorgeous. So were the pieces of polished petrified wood. But you could buy a car for what they charged. I went into the native Indian store. I looked all around and bought a dream catcher with feathers. Then we walked back to the motel.

We got dressed for bed even though it was too early. We watched three episodes of Lucifer and I nodded off. So Chris turned off his computer and shut off the lights and we went to bed (before nine).

Travel to Bryce Canyon

Sunday: I got up before Chris did so I could pack. Thankfully I have a cheat sheet for the suitcase part. So the supplement part is the hardest. I packed the pre-breakfast box, the breakfast box and a snack box. I parsed out supplements for the week. I looked at my blog for last year to see what I did then. Apparently I just packed oatmeal. I took a shower and got ready for church. I thought of a few more things to pack, and mixes to make more of. I went to the garden to uncover the plants. Finally we went to church. Because it was the first Sunday of the month, we picked up communion cups on the way in. Then the commander sat behind us. It was his first time on a Sunday. After the opening prayer, we sang songs, then heard the sermon. We had communion and one more song and it was over. Then we had some fellowship time. Rusty told me he had stuff for the swap shop so I agreed to meet him there in 20 minutes. Eileen explained she got the shot to make her mother feel better and he symptoms were mostly gone. Then we walked out and went to our respective cars. When we got home, I changed clothes and took the washed coats to the swap shop. Rusty was not there, so I left the door unlocked and headed home. But we passed on the way, so I gave him the key. Chris suggested we could just leave the shop unlocked so people can go in to leave stuff or pick stuff up whenever they want. I had reservations about that. I made and ate breakfast while skimming e-mail. Then we packed up and got in the car. Chris set the GPS and we were off. We played the book on CD. I nearly fell asleep. Traffic was light. But the GPS kept hanging up so Chris was not thrilled. After 4 hours, we pulled in to a Bryce Canyon hotel spot. We unpacked and scouted for restaurants, then went across the street to the Cowboy Buffet. We had to wait to be seated and were given a paper menu to look over. I had my mind mostly made up before we were shown to a table. Chris got the half chicken and I got the charbroiled pork chop. I was hoping it would be like my mom used to make, but it was way too thick for that. Chris had to help me cut it. We checked out the buffet for another time. Then we got a to-go box and went back to the motel. I heated water for tea and read e-mail. Chris read e-mail, then hooked his laptop to the TV so we could watch Netflix. We watched two episodes of Lucifer. Then we cuddled for a while and he went to sleep. I went out to his car to get my headphones to listen while I wrote my blog post.

Fun Run and sewing class

Saturday I got up at 7:30. I washed up and obsessed over what to wear since it was 40F and I expected lots of wind, but it would warm up. So I wore jeans and a t-shirt, and a long-sleeved shirt and a scarf. I put a bottle of coconut water in my fanny pack. Jenny showed up a few minutes early, so I ran out, grabbing a coat.

But it wasn't cold or windy I did wish I had brought sun glasses.. We got there in time to sign in and use the restroom. We had to pin a number to our clothing. Jenny decided to do the 2K walk, so I walked the 5K with Diane. It took a little over an hour. We started at the back of the line but runners kept passing us. I don't know if they started earlier and did a longer route, or what. The trail started off flat, then got rugged over the mountain. But we did fine, even the steep parts which were scary. When we got back to 'civilization', we slowed down and talked about going home, but then I realized that we hadn't crossed the official Finish line. So we ran to it and our numbers were recorded. Chris met me there and introduced me to some guys from Australia. I expressed my sympathy for their extended lockdown. We passed a table with fruit and water. I got a banana.

Then I went with Diane and she drove me home. She wanted to see the house, so I gave her a tour. She said maybe someday they will want a bigger house like we have. I mixed up a batch of seed crackers and popped them in the oven. Then I made up more seed batch mixtures for next time. I jotted walking notes for my blog so I'll know for next year. I made and ate breakfast. Chris came home long enough to take a shower and put sewing machines in my trunk. Then he went back to the event.

At 1:40 I went to the garden to uncover the plants - something I had intended to do earlier in the day but forgot. Then I went to the chapel to set up the machines. Diane came and made a pumpkin out of 6 football shapes. Jenni came and made one by covering a roll of toilet paper. Then a lady came with three pair of pants that she wanted hemmed and narrowed. Jenni encouraged her to make a toilet paper pumpkin and she did, then left with her husband. I started working on the pants while Jenni worked on an apron. Then we packed up and she helped me carry stuff to my car.

I went home, forgetting to go by the post office. Chris was not home. I listened to a very long interview with RFK jr:

Some other vaccines also decrease symtoms that the person does not know they are infected so they spread it inadvertantly. Autism has gone up 6 ot 700% since 2004. Institute of Medicine says 15 studies CDC has never done the studies it needs to do. Independent scientists have done the studies showing the link between autism and vaccines. Provax people say autism was always here, just diagnosed differently, but then where are the 60yr old autism patients? 70% of polio cases are vaccine strains (couresy of B Gates). Kids in Congo were given so many injections that it came out in their stool and spread to others. African govt threw out Bill Gates after he tested HPV vaccine on their girls with devastating effects to 2600.

I dealt with three gopher mounds. I called Johnnie to come over for me to show her how to water my plants while we are gone. She stayed for a chat. After she left, I ate two pickled eggs for supper. I finished the interview, then went to the garden to cover the plants. Hopefully they won't need covering again for a week. I stopped at the post office on the way home, but there wasn't much to pick up.

Back at home, I read e-mail. I repacked some things in the food box. Then I made tea and we watched two episodes of Person of Interest. I watched some short videos, and worked on my blog. Then I read a new book and went to bed.

Cheese with hot peppers

Friday: Chris got up and went to work. I got up about 8:30. I made myself get stuff ready for the pumpkin project. I noticed two new gopher mounds. Then I read e-mail until 10:40. I went to the garden to uncover the plants, then to Saronna's house to play trombone. I waited until she fed the baby, then we played stuff from Pirates of the Carribean. Other kids came over to play with her kids and one of them offered to go home and get his trombone and play with us. But we were kinda done by then. Her husband came home around noon and offered me some 'skillet' which was a breakfast mix he had made. He also offered me some hot sauce he had made. He left and I put some on a plate. I tasted it before adding sauce, which was good because afterward I couldn't taste anything but the sauce. It was hot!

I went home to make and eat breakfast. I dealt with the gopher mounds in the back yard, then went back to reading e-mail and following links. Chris came back from work. We chatted, then I walked to the post office to get the mail. There were two packages for me, which I put in my hand bag. When I got home, I put the bag down and promptly forgot about it.

I read e-mail. Chris cut up the hot peppers we grew while I beat 3 eggs. He threw in the pieces and I added three kinds of cheese. I flattened the mixture on a baking sheet and baked it at 350. Then broiled it to singe the cheese.

I went to the garden at 6:15 to water the plants and cover them. Diane showed up so we walked. When we got back to the garden, Diane found a strange bug. We both went home, then she sent me a text with a link to an article about it. A common name for it is Jerusalem cricket. It looks like a cross between a bee, a cricket and a cherry tomato. I ate a can of olives, then made tea. Jenni texted me about going to the event tomorrow. We watched TV, then I read and went to bed.

* A little too much broiling *
