TGIF, but Chris worked anyway

Friday

My sleep was troubled by hot flashes, but must have subsided at some point because I woke up at 8. I checked on the worms and the ferments. Chris told me that there were two more probiotic bottles in the insulated box he opened last night. Sigh. He got ready and went to work.

Jenni called to give me a list of things she wants from Jo-anns. She also wants two of each sprout. I listened to more talks on menopause nutrition. I checked Telegram messages. I learned from a comment that you can cook bacon and eggs in a paper bag on a grill. I made and ate breakfast. I put on an old bathing suit and read outside in the sun. I used the shed door to block the wind. I listened to an interview on China. I checked out Sharebay.org, which is like Ebay but is free. I tried calling Chris but his phone did not pick up. I read e-mail for awhile. The WHO submitted a proposal that would give the WHO the authority over every country's pandemic response. No more recommendations, but de facto law.

I called Chris again. This time I got through. He said he'd be back in an hour, but I thought it was too late then to go to Tooele so we decided to go tomorrow instead. Now having the rest of the afternoon free, I made seed crackers. While they were baking, I made more of the mixes for next time. Then I parsed out supplements for the next two weeks. It was a long involved process. Chris called back to say he was back at the office, but the colonel wanted him to go with him to Tooele to pick up pizza for a get-together at the colonel's house. Sigh. I said ok.

I went outside to pull up old tumbleweed stalks. I tried raking them, but pulling them by hand gave a better result.

I made and ate a salad. I added to the shopping list. I siphoned off the whey from the biggest ferment. I put a Tbl in each of 4 gallons of water. One gallon went to the charcoal bucket. The other three I took to the garden and dispersed them. I walked to the post office to pick up the mail. I listened to a presentation on autism and its increasing prevalence. Austistic children have a lot of co-morbidities, so their average lifespan is half of the normal.

I posted to my blog. I saw yet another meme for Johnny Depp so I looked up an article to find out what all the fuss was about. I called Chris and had trouble getting through. He said he'd be home soon. An hour later, I called again. He said he was just leaving. It was after 10 till he got home. I was fit to be tied. He listened patiently and apologized and gave his reason for staying late. I figured he had been drinking and the scent of his breath confirmed it. Then we watched two episodes of Gomer Pyle and went to bed.

Goat milk is so cheesy

Thursday

I got up at 7:30. I checked on the ferments, the worms and the plants. A moth came out of the worm bin. I chased it down but lost it on a bookshelf.

I heated a jar of goats milk, then added vinegar and let it form curds. I pulled out most of the whey with a quarter cup measure, then poured it into a seed sprouter and separated the rest of the whey from the curds. I read e-mail, then cheesed the other jar of goat milk, this time with lemon juice instead of vinegar. I think vinegar did a better job. I added some to the ferments.

I went through more e-mail. I learned that young tumbleweed sprouts are edible. I wondered if they would make a good FPJ fertilizer. I made breakfast and ate it while watching The Highwire. I paused it to read outside, then watched the rest. Someone suggeseted checking a site called farmmatch.com to find farms in your area.

I met Jenni at 4 to walk, then went to the library to get a book on CD. I headed home, waving at my neighbor who was at the ice cream social. I read e-mail until Michelle called. She told me about her efforts to get the U-Jam class going. She wanted to talk to Chris. I told her to write it all down.

After the call, I changed into pants. I went to the swap shop to lock it and visit with Tonja. She did a good job organizing things. Then I went to the community club to pick up pizza for Chris. Evelyn was there and asked for a sweet potato plant. Michelle was there, too and said hi. I took the pizza home and left it on the stove. I read e-mail. Chris came home from work. I mentioned that Michelle wanted to talk to him about U-Jam. He said his team told him she went about it all wrong.

I made a salad and ate it while listening to a presentation on menopause. I jotted notes for my blog and posted it. I made tea and we watched the original Heaven Can Wait. It was lovely seeing all the fabric in those rich houses and the gowns of the women at the dances. It ended at 11:30. I noticed a package that was delivered to our front porch earlier today. I also noticed the word 'refrigerate', so Chris opened it and I took the bottle out and put it in the fridge. Then we both went to bed.

Not one, but two

Wednesday

I was able to get up with no problems this morning. I turned on the router to look up one small thing, then noticed a sale and ended up placing an order, this gave coffee morning a late start.

After coffee morning, I cleaned the bathrooms and kitchen. I mopped the floor. I vacuumed. I examined all the ceilings for moths. We've killed one each day and I wondered where they are coming from.

I read outside in the sun. I stopped at the post office to unlock the swap shop door. I parked at the school. I chatted with Jenni, then met Michelle and we walked around the school block. She told me U-Jam was canceled. I gave her some of the pink stuff (a cleaner) to try on her windows.

I went home. I read e-mail until she appeared on my porch with two half-gallon jars of goat's milk. She said she had been up at the old chaplain's house trying to clean the windows with pink stuff. She invited me up to see the results, so I got in her car and off we went. The front window did not look improved for the cleaning it got. She took me around back where she had worked on a sunroom window. She had only cleaned half of it, but you could not tell it. Looking through the windows, we could see that the carpet had been ripped out. No clues to indicate what it will be replaced with. It was nice to see bulbs coming up and blooming.

She pulled up in front of my house and we chatted until her husband called. I got out and she left. I unpacked the box Chris brought home from the post office at lunch. I put the supplements away. I listened to This Week with Mary and Polly, then a

podcast by James Corbett on the health treaty that the WHO wants all member nations to sign. They haven't written it yet, but the signing is scheduled for this fall.

Chris came home late for supper. He asked me to pick up his pizza tomorrow because he will have a meeting in Tooele. I made tea and we watched three episodes of Gomer Pyle. He went to bed and I stayed up to read.

Three bags full

Tuesday

My back hurt when I went to bed last night so I put a lidocaine patch on. I don't think it helped. I had trouble rolling onto my sides. Chris got up at 4:30 to read e-mail and get ready for a workout. About 5:15 I had him bring me a towel to pee on. I also asked for an anti-inflammatory. He brought me one with two cheese sticks and some water. I ate one cheese stick and took the pill. He canceled his workout and went back to bed. He fell asleep while I tried to sleep. He got up later and got ready for work. I finally fell asleep and he woke me up so he could lever me out of bed with the backboard and go to work. Sigh.

He helped me get dressed and put on my shoes. He went to work while I bundled up and went for a walk with plastic bags and a reacher. In an hour I picked up 3 bags of trash just in our neighborhood. There were fewer pieces before the big mowers went through and cut down the tumbleweeds.

I washed dishes and took detox supplements. I vacuumed the den. I sat with my chillow and jotted notes. I checked my ferments. The one with rice had developed curds. I read e-mail. I made and ate breakfast. I looked up recently-arrived supplements to see what they are for. I tasted the curd and it wasn't great. I poured it out on the compost pile.

I took my trombone and went to Saronna's house. We played till 3:30. We started packing up and Wyatt came over to play. He and I played a little but then Saronna got a phone call, so we packed up and left. I parked at the school and knocked on Jenni's door. When she was ready, we walked around the block, talking.

Afterward, I went home. I read e-mail, and listened to a podcast. I posted to our Facebook page offering free sweet potato sprouts. I filled some six-packs with soil and watered them. I had leftovers for supper. I planted some strawberries that Diane had given me. I dug gopher mounds, then washed my hands. I called Faye to see how she was doing. Very well. I made a salad, and read e-mail, waiting for Chris to come home. Finally I texted him and he said he was leaving.

I wrote my blog post. We watched three episodes of Gomer Pyle. I read articles for a bit, then turned everything off and did my evening protocol. Finally I went to bed.

Pounding charcoal

Monday

Chris got up early to work out, then came back to get ready for work. I waited until I was sure he was gone to get up. I rinsed, brushed, swished, and started a detox supplement routine. I found two more dead worms. I wondered why they crawled out. If only they could speak to me...

I watered the plants. I read e-mail, including a documentary on the CIA. I called Brian to ask how best to crush charcoal. After the call, I tried a rolling pin, but I didn't have enough weight to make it work. So I hammered charcoal pieces, just like last year. Jamie came over with a farming friend to check out the rocks I have collected from the gophers.

I made and ate breakfast. I watched a video about the 3 sigma event in food production, i.e. food production facilities catching fire, or blowing up, or being hit by planes.

I read in the sun, taking advantage of the good weather. I pounded more charcoal. Then I went over to Michelle's house to wash windows. We only did one window, using the pink stuff. There was still mottling on the window. Sigh. We walked with Jenni around the school block.

I put a bucket of the charcoal from last year in the trunk of my car. I went to the garden and spread it around. I raked the gopher mounds, and got things generally flat. Using the rake, I forked tumbleweeds over the fence. But I still got tiny splinters in my fingers.

When I got home, I added milk to my rice water ferments. Michelle came by with a bottle of Pellegrino, which I needed for the bottle. She would not let me pay her. I gave her the jar formerly filled with goat milk and she said she would bring me more.

I made a salad, and read e-mail. I called Faye to see how she was doing after her mastectomy. Then I wrote an e-mail to let family know. I posted to my blog, made tea, and we watched several episodes of Gomer Pyle. Chris spent some time trying to get the little splinters out of my hand. Even dripping wax on it and peeling it off did not remove the offending bit of plant material.

I followed Chris to bed, but got up later to finish a podcast. My back was hurting when I went to bed, so I put a lidocaine patch on it and did a lot of tapping. Then I laid me down to sleep.

Sauna and dominoes

Sunday

We slept late. After the usual morning stuff, I made banana-oatmeal cookies for church. Then I took shower. I read e-mail all morning, then made breakfast and dressed for church.

I took the cookies to church. Pastor Josh gave the sermon. After the service, I opened the container and the kids were first in line. Sgt King spoke to me about the difficulty of getting hymns to play for church.

I took the remaining cookies and went home. I finished off the pineapple and the jack fruit, making space in the fridge. I changed my clothes, and read articles. Then I went to the gym to workout with Jenni and Michelle. Afterward, we sat in the sauna, chatting. After an hour we got out. Michelle played sample music from Ujam and showed me the moves. It was not for me.

I came home, and changed clothes. I ate leftovers for supper. I read e-mail, and jotted notes. We went to Michelle's house to play dominoes. We got there just after 6:30 with the remaining cookies. She had a fruit and cheese tray. She also brought out a dragonfruit and we shared that. We talked for a while, and then she got out the dominoes. The kids were in bed. The four of us played for an hour. We were going to leave at 8, but the conversation kept going and it was quarter of 9 before we left. She invited me to the Family History thing in Salt Lake City. She said I could look up all my relatives. I wondered if Yvonne had already done that.

When we got home, I heated tea and we watched two episodes of Gomer Pyle. While we were watching, the colonel texted Chris about working out at 5:30. So Chris went to bed after that, and I stayed up to post to my blog.

A quilting challenge

Saturday

We slept in. Chris kept getting texts about the gov't internet being down. He thought it was hacked. I was relieved to find the civilian system was still up.

I read e-mail, then got dressed and went to the swap shop at 10. The lady I opened it for said she had been waiting since 9. I could have been there earlier had I known. She brought a desk and I tried to help her lift it but it was too heavy. So we slid it on a piece of cardboard.

Afterward, I picked up my packages at the post office and went home. I opened them and pulled out the contents. I continued reading articles, then asked Chris for a massage. He gave me one, then took a shower. I made and ate breakfast.

Faye called. She was with Asha and Asha wants a quilt made of her mother's saris and her father's shirts. I thought it would be a shame to cut up a sari. She'll Skype me next week to show me the saris.

I read until 3, then met Jenni at the school. We walked around the block, taking a slightly longer route so I could look for a tulip that bloomed last year where a house had been torn down. But I didn't see it. I did see lots of trash, which I picked up and threw in the school's trash can. We had a nice chat and agreed to meet tomorrow at the gym.

I wanted to work outside, but it was chilly and windy. I read articles all afternoon. Chris baked brussels sprouts and chicken. I also ate pineapple and jackfruit. I fed sprout peelings to the worms. The wind had died back, so I turned the compost pile and raked over some gopher mounds.

I posted to my blog and made tea. We watched four episodes of Gomer Pyle. I wanted to go to bed, but it had no sheets. So Chris got the sheets from the dryer and we dressed the bed. Then we retired for the evening.

The Natural History Museum of Utah

Friday

Chris got up at 6 and woke me up just before he took a shower. I hadn't slept well and did not want to get up. But I did. Because of the night sweats, I showered just after he did. I got dressed and filled a water bottle. Then we got on the road to the natural history museum in Salt Lake City.

We arrived about 8:45 with a target of 9. However, there was nothing going on. After using the restroom and speaking with two ladies who are archeologists for Dugway, Chris introduced me to the lady who gave him the stuffed heart. She is a native american elder who is attending this yearly event. She had a walker and was sitting down, but those of us in the conversation were standing up. That was my big mistake. She was talking about interesting events in her childhood. (She and her brothers had quite a time!)

It was close on to 10 when we went upstairs to a conference room. I managed to sit down for a bit. But then we were divided into two groups and given a tour of the museum. I don't think we saw much though. One room on the 5th floor was circular and there was an inside and an outside to the circle. Artifacts were shown as well as modern crafts. Recordings of voices speaking their native languages and an interactive panel for learning a few words. (It didn't cooperate when I tried it).

We went to the third floor where kids were interacting with geology exhibits. I could not hear the tour guide. We could see the geology of the area and boney dinosaurs. There was a 9000 year old basket, and a woven rabbit coat.

Then we went to the 4th floor to see the labs, which were restricted to students and archeologists. They had a great system of motorized shelving, all back-to-back, but space can be made between any two rows. (If only I had that for my fabric!) There were also tables and equipement for cleaning and inspecting artifacts.

We reassembled in the conference room. We chatted with each other and then were directed to get a box lunch from the back of the room. Each one had a sub sandwich, chips, a cookie and an apple. Chris gave me his apple, and I gave him my cookie and chips. I ripped the top of the sub off and ate the rest. After more chatting, we said our goodbyes, and left. I wanted to see the rest of the museum, but was too exhausted from being on my feet so much.

We went to the asian market where we got jackfruit, kimchi, and kimbap. It was cold and rainy and I wished I had worn heavier footwear. Then we headed to Tooele, with much swearing at the GPS and traffic signs (or lack thereof). I tried to sleep as the book on CD droned on. As always, it was gory and descriptive. We stopped at the usual places to shop, then went back to base.

We stopped at the post office, then went home. We unpacked our groceries. I laid down for a nap but didn't quite fall asleep. I ate part of the jackfruit. I ate the last of some things to make room for the new stuff. I read e-mail and looked at Telegram messages. Finally I wrote my blog post for today and yesterday.

I made tea and we watched the bonus episode of Columbo, which featured Kate Mulgrew as Mrs. Columbo. I think it was a spin-off that got canceled. It featured creepy dummies and a psycho ventriloquist.

Chris finished up on his laptop and went to bed. I stayed up a little later, then retired.

Sharing the swap shop

Thursday I read e-mail, I made a larger hole in the bottle caps and finally created the water vortex. It was very satisfying. I checked my ferments to see how they were doing. Still not ready.

I made breakfast and watched The Highwire. They were over half an hour late getting started due to some technical issue. But it was interesting as always. Dr. Stefanie Seneff talked about her research into glyphosate and into the shots.

At 3 I went to the swap shop. Tonja was waiting. I opened it and we chatted for a bit, then I left her in charge and picked up the mail and went to the gym to join Jenni in walking. She wasn't there so I walked by myself. Then I went by the chapel to drop off the list of hymns. I went to the garden to pour 6 gallons of treated water. I had to move a lot of tumbleweeds and got splinters in my fingers for my efforts.

I listened to videos as I pieced puzzles and read articles. I put glue on my thumb and let it dry, then peeled it off. I think it got all those splinters out. I had leftovers for supper. I ate some goat cheese. Chris came home with a pizza. I went to the swap shop to lock up and chat with Tonja. She did a great job of organizing!

When I got home, I jotted notes for my blog. Chris told me about his visit to the natural history museum and invited me to go with him tomorrow for the second half. I made tea and we watched the last episode of Columbo. Chris went to bed and I stayed up reading e-mail. After doing my bedtime routine, I did a little tapping to help me go to sleep.

The haircut

Wednesday

I got up about 7:30. I puttered around then brushed, swished and made coffee. I put on the CD lineup. I started tapping and meditating.

Chris came home about 10, then left again, saying he wouldn't be home for lunch. But then he did come home for lunch. So anyway, I cleaned the bathrooms, the kitchen and the carpet. It was a sunny day so I read outside. I realized I finished the book on uric acid yesterday and thought “I'm out of books to read”. Then I looked around at all the bookshelves and had a good laugh. I found a book I started last year and read it in the sun.

I headed the goat milk, added vinegar and lemon juice. I stirred it and pulled out the curds. I put them in the fridge to firm up. Then I went walking with Jenni and Michelle. While I was talking to Michelle, the band leader pulled up and talked for me for awhile.

I went home and called Myra. We talked for some time. I put some goat cheese in a small container for Michelle. Chris stopped by the house to get something for Mass, then he was gone. Michelle came over to cut my hair. She used electric clippers on the back of my neck. For some reason, they were rough and left red marks that stung. But she did a good job on the hair. I gave her some goat cheese. After she left, I sat down to read e-mail, and write a blog post.

I made tea and we watched one episode of Columbo. Then Chris went to bed and I stayed up a little longer, then hit the hay myself.

No vortex

Tuesday

I got dressed, then took bromelain. I went outside to pick dandelion leaves in bunches. I picked through them to get the cleanest ones and put them in a milk jug. I weighed them, then added 1:1 brown sugar and shook the jug. Then I put it in a box to keep it dark. Let the fermentation begin!

I washed dishes sitting around the kitchen. I tried to glue two bottle caps together and drill holes in them. But the caps turned with the drill bit. I was able to poke a hole through by heating a metal chopstick on the stove. But the hole was not big enough to get a 'vortex in a bottle'.

The internet was not working, so I sent Chris a message. I also texted Saronna, but she said her internet was working. Eventually I discovered that I plugged the wrong CAT cable in. Once I switched, it worked fine.

I made and ate breakfast. I sat outside, sunning my legs. I made arrangements for that lady to run the swap shop on Thursday afternoons. I filled the 6 milk jugs with tap water and eggshell water. I put the watched DVD's in my car, along with my walking shoes.

Having prepped for the afternoon, I headed to Saronn'as. I tried to drop off the list of hymns at the chapel, but the door was locked. I proceeded to her house. We talked for half an hour, then played some Disney songs. Wyatt came over and we played from his book.

Afterward, I went to the library to return the DVD's and get the next seasons. Then I went home to change my shorts for pants and walking shoes. The wind had kicked up something fierce. I went to the gym and walked with Jenni. She introduced me to Judd. I went to the garden to pour the water on the garden, then home.

As I was checking e-mail, I realized the quilt guild meeting was in progress. I clicked on the Zoom link and watched end of the meeting and participated in the social time. Afterward, I made supper and salad. I listened to videos, then prepared my blog post. I ordered supplements, then made tea. It got late. I watched one episode of Columbo and then Chris came home from the airport. He unpacked and went to bed. I stayed up a little later and started my bedtime routine.

Starting the lactic acid bacteria ferment

Monday

Chris got up, puttered around, showered and left for the airport. I tried to stay in bed, but the doorbell rang. When I got there, there was a bag with 2 egg cartons in it, but she was gone.

I read some e-mail, then put on a video and stood in the kitchen peeling garlic to make pickled garlic. I peeled 4 fists to fill the jar. I comparison-shopped online. Some things aren't available. I made and ate breakfast, then sat outside in the sun, reading.

At 2, I opened the swap shop. Actually I was there early to pick up my mail. Then, as 2pm came and went, I got antsy because no one was there. But later several ladies came and two of them brought kids. The kids played with the toys while their mothers talked and looked through items in the shop. I met a new lady who is a quilter and wants to open the shop one day a week so people don't have to bother me when they want to 'shop'. She gave me her number and I wrote it on the back of the mail I picked up.

After an hour, I kind of herded them to the door. With much urging, the kids put the toys away. I locked up and went home.

I washed some brown rice and put the water in a separate jar to ferment. I wondered why the rice wasn't allowed to stay in the water. So I added more water to the rice and covered it to ferment in a different place.

I read e-mail for awhile. I filled 6 gallon jugs with water and added some eggshell water to each. I went walking with Michelle. Afterward, she talked to me for some time. Then I drove to her house where she gave me a bottle of oregano oil. I paid her for both the oil and the goat's milk. I went to the garden to apply the water. The plot in front of me had been raked and was ready to plant. Hmmm.

I went home and heated supper. I talked to Chris, who was just getting to his hotel room after his trip and several meeting. He was tired so we didn't talk for long. I posted to my blog, then made tea and watched one episode of Columbo. I read for awhile after that, then paused the video and went to bed.

Easter Sunday

Sunday

I stayed in bed late with Chris. While he took a shower, I added old potting soil to the worm farm so they would have more bedding. I read e-mail, avoiding the worst stuff, looking for the more inspiring pieces.

Our credit card company texted Chris about a suspicious charge. I don't know what was suspicious about it, but I didn't know about it. So they canceled the card. Now I will have to memorize a new one. Grrr!

I made and ate breakfast, then put on my Easter dress and got out my Easter hat. I could not find the blue shoes that matched, nor an Easter-ish handbag. So I used the one in shades of blue. I put the muffins in a bowl, wondering if there would be enough. Chris got dressed for church as well so I wondered if others who don't normally come would attend.

When we got there, Michelle drove up with a potted flower and a bottle of goat's milk for me. We left the plant on Chris' car and she put the milk in the church fridge. We chatted with the pastor while waiting for Jenni. Then the service commenced. I did not know the first two songs. The second one had a lot of fanfare in it. Then the fill-in chaplain spoke at length, and then we had one more song. Thankfully it was one I knew. Afterward, we chatted and snacked. Jenni had brought a veggie tray and Michelle brought strawberries and cake, and Diane brought cookies. Diane's husband took our pic out in the chapel yard. Diane gave us each a lily.

When we got home, I changed clothes. There were muffins left over, so I tried one with cheese. I read outside in the sun barefoot. I was tired and nearly fell asleep. I went to the gym for a workout, but declined to get in the sauna with the others. Steve was there, too, using the treadmill. He gave me a sandstone.

I came home and laid down but could not sleep. Chris had cooked ground beef and mushrooms, so I ate that, then made a salad. I read articles. I found out Chris is coming back on Tuesday instead of Wednesday.

I made tea. We watched two episodes of Call the Midwife. I read e-mail for awhile longer. Chris rinsed out the lower worm bin. We made the bed. I brushed my teeth, and continued reading. Chris went to bed, and later, so did I.

Sewing class

Saturday

I had a terrible night. My stomach was upset and I wondered if it was from the aspirin. I took charcoal just before bed, but it didn't stop the nausea. I slept in and got up about 9:30. I took detox supplements, then brushed and swished. I found dead worms on the floor. Apparently they are not happy with the climate.

I worked through e-mail. I sat with the Chillow (which was still cold from yesterday). I made and ate breakfast. I assembled a pile of stuff for sewing class. I picked out some rooted sweet potato shoots for Diane. I took a shower, and got dressed. Chris put the stuff in my car.

We each drove to the chapel and he unloaded my car. I set up the machines, and started making a bag. Then I realized that the interfacing was not in the pile. Jenni came and wanted to make gloves so I ran out to the car to get the material. Then Diane arrived. She made her bag as I finished mine. Then Jenni made a bag. I took pics of all the finished projects.

We went home. I changed shoes and came back at 4 to walk around the block. The three of us walked and talked. I went home and then walked to the post office, stopping to pick up trash. It was blowing out of the cans at the pavilion which were completely stuffed.

I jotted notes for my blog, then made flaxseed muffins. While they baked, I ate a dried egg yolk. I could not separate the yolk from the salt even by washing it. I tasted a muffin when they came out. It needed something, like a filling? I rubbed the tops with butter, which seemed to help. I ate leftovers for supper, and then listened to videos while reading messages.

I worked on my blog, then made tea. We watched two episodes of Call the Midwife. They were both heavy tearjerkers. Afterward, Chris went to bed and I watched a video by Dr. Tau Braun on snake venom.

Where did the internet go?

Friday

I did some tapping before I laid down. I must have slept well because I woke up late. I got up at 8:30. While I was preparing for the day, Chris logged on to a group call for work. I washed up and got dressed. I read e-mail quietly so as not to disturb him.

I found a piece of paper with info about my dad's trombones on it. So I typed it into my laptop in case I lose the paper. I had to look up the info to make sure the spelling was correct and to find an approximate year. Somehow I came across a video of a murderer tying a knife to a trombone slide and heading towards a woman tied to a tree. I did not need that image in my head so I closed that window.

I watched a video called “Where did the internet go?” She was sharing her screen as she typed search terms into Google. Although it proclaimed millions of results, when she paged through them, it would deadend long before she got to even 1000 results. Looking at those results, they were limited to only a handful of sources.

I made breakfast and ate it. Chris had gone to work and came back about 1:30. I put on shoes and filled a water bottle. Chris packed the cooler and we went to Tooele, listening to the book on CD. I fell asleep. When we got to Luckey's, I was groggy. We shopped, then Chris checked out while I walked to Melanie's. By the time I finished there, Chris was parked outside. We went to Macey's, then headed back to base. When we got there, we stopped at the post office before going home.

We put the food away, then I laid down. Later I went walking with Diane. Jenni was out in town. I readied an old package of strawberries to ferment. It called for 2% salt by weight. I put it in a zip-lock bag in the pantry.

I ate the rest of the apple, then read messages. I made a salad, and ate a pickled egg. I listened to This Week with Polly and Mary. I went outside to rake over gopher mounds. I put down some poison in one hole. It was nice outside.

I read more articles, then wrote a blog post. I made tea while Chris brought up Netflix on the media laptop. But there were no search results for Call the Midwife. That seemed very odd. I went to my laptop to get the e-mail Netflix sent saying there was another season for it. So Chris logged out of Netflix and back in. Then miraculously the show was there and we watch one episode. I brushed my teeth and listened to another interview before going to bed.

The house on the hill

Thursday

I had slept ok, but my back hurt. So I went for a walk around the block. I did a detox supplement regimen. I read e-mail with the Chillow in the chair behind me. Jenni came over with a covid test kit. But it was from China and for nasal swab only. So I didn't use it. But we had a nice chat. I gave her some vitamin D.

I renamed all my sewing photos in order to pick a project for Saturday. I watched another video on snake venom, then The Highwire. I chose a bag/basket project and pulled fabric and interfacing for it.

I was going to go out in the sun, but it kept going behind clouds. Finally at 3:30 I went to the gym to walk with the ladies. I thought it was nice enough to walk outside, but... Afterward, I went home, and posted to the Facebook page about the project, using the pic that came with the instructions since I hadn't made a sample.

Michelle texted me, asking me to come to her house. So I drove over there. She told me to get in her car and she took me up to the house on the hill. She had gotten the key from Housing. We had to clear some tumbleweeds to get to the door. We looked around. I had seen it before, but she identified things she would like to see changed. As we sat on the window seat, we talked about the possibilities. I still didn't want to move in.

Then the commander showed up, seeing an unfamiliar car in the driveway. He said they were going to change the flooring and the windows, and the dryer hookup. Then he invited us to his house to show me how to care for his cats when he goes on vacation. His house is really nice! And a lot newer.

Michelle drove us to Housing to return the key, just in time before they closed. We went back to her house and sat in her car while she assured me that she would like to take on this project (she is an interior designer) for free and she could help me make the best out of a situation that I didn't want.

I went home, and found Chris still gone. I listened to a QnA on the venom theory. Chris came home and made himself supper. He explained that they did not have the money to replace the old metal windows in the house on the hill. The carpet was a maybe. I ran to the library to return Gomer Pyle and get another DVD, but they were closed.

I jotted notes for today's blog and wrote up the notes from yesterday. We watched four episodes of Cheers. Chris went to bed and I stayed up to catch up on e-mail.

Time in the sauna

Wednesday

I had slept well, not noticing Reveille or Chris getting ready for work. As I headed to the kitchen, I stopped to check the worms. Many had crawled out of the main bin, into the lower bin. It had water in it and some worms had drowned. Sigh. I had to move the rest back to the main bin where the food and bedding were. I drained the water from the lower bin and wished them well.

I made coffee, did lymph-moving exercises, drybrushed, etc. I read a book for 20 minutes. I meditated and tapped. I took detox supplement, including H2. Then I started cleaning. Chris came home and warned me that a man was coming to fix the bathroom sink in 20 minutes. So I quickly cleaned that bathroom and took a shower. Then Chris left and met the man arriving. I cleaned in the kitchen as he worked in the bathroom and soon he was done.

I read e-mail, then started a Swansons order. Michelle texted while I was on the phone with Jenni. She was off base. I met Michelle at the school and we walked around the school. We also did another, warmer block, which took us by the apple tree and pear tree.

We talked until I got really cold, then I went home. I finished the order, and read articles until almost 6:30. Then I packed a bag and went to the sauna. Michelle was already in. We sat and talked for an hour. I brought water to drink. Heather talked to us a little bit before her workout. When our time was up, Michelle and I talked in the changing room, then again out in the parking lot. Heather came out to join us. But finally I got cold again and had to go home.

I took another shower and it really dried out my face. I read articles, and wrote a blog post. I made tea and we watched three episodes of Cheers. Chris wanted to get to bed early because he had to get up early to work out with the colonel. I stayed up to watch the third part of the venom theory, then went to bed. My back was not happy and I hoped it would be better in the morning.

Baking, and more cold treatments

Tuesday

I slept ok. I sprayed my nasal rinse tube with h2o2, thinking maybe I was reinfecting myself. I washed dishes in the sink. I collected filtered water for tomorrow. I laid on my PEMF mat and drank vitamin C water. I turned the salt lamp on. I even took some ivermectin.

I parsed two weeks worth of supplements, which took longer than I thought. Then I started making breakfast. Chris came home for lunch. He pulled out the bread machine and went back to work. I filled it and ran it. I read articles all afternoon. I skipped playing with Saronna because my nose was stuffed up, which makes it hard to play trombone. I put saved tomato seeds on a 6-pack of soil, and watered it.

I went to the swap shop to meet Jamie. I helped her assemble baby furniture so we could photograph it. She wanted to stay and work, so I let her, and I went home.

I mixed up a batch of cheese sticks, and put them in the oven. I ate the last of the pickled garlic and peeled another fist of garlic to put in the remaining juice. Chris came home from work, and made his supper. He steamed broccoli and cauliflower for me. I mixed up a batch of seed crackers. I ate some of the steamed veggies with shredded cheese, ground beef, and spicy condiments.

I posted to my blog while listening to a podcast on the snake theory and Ukraine. I made tea (with vinegar cause that is supposed to help with congestion) and we watched 3 episodes of Cheers. I listened to another interview comparing effects of Remdesivir to effects of snake venom. It got late and I went to bed.

Lights out

Monday

It was a terrible night. I could not breathe through my nose, and my lips were dry and sore. Although it is true that holding your breath will open your nose, it takes getting to the point of great discomfort for it to happen, and then it doesn't last.

I got up, rinsed my sinuses, took charcoal, then brushed and swished. Swishing is difficult when you can't breathe through your nose. I tried H2, sniffing eucalyptus oil, and taking packets of vit C. I searched the house for oregano oil, but did not find it.

I listened to the rest of the Defeat the Mandates event. They played my favorite song “God over Government”. I made and ate breakfast. Chris came home for lunch but didn't stay long. He took the flag back to the CSM. Kurt texted me about Mom's birthday.

When my friends started texting about walking, I got dressed. But I decided not to join them. Instead, I got fresh air by flattening gopher mounds. I used the shell/vinegar mixture to make mineral water for my plants.

I watched Stew Peters' interview Dr. Brian Ardis: In Latin, 'virus' means venom and 'corona' means crown. Elevated d-dimer levels is one possible sign of snake venom poisoning. King cobra venom causes kidney failure. Monoclonal antibodies are anti-venom. Antibodies in Wuhan genetic sequences are most like proteins in two snakes: king cobra and chinese krait. Venom in the mouth can cause loss of taste and smell for a long time. Unusually small number of smokers were being hospitalized with covid. Nicotine stops venom from paralyzing diaphram. Euthanizing drugs are same drugs used for intubation. A co-founder of Moderna is starting an anti-venom company called Ophirex to treat the neglected global threat of snakebites. He wants to use mRna technology to vaccinate people in rural villages. The company is funded by DoD, Wellcome Trust, and UN.

I ate some pineapple and a cucumber. Chris came home and proclaimed water falling from the sky. Not something you see every day around here. I ate mashed up pickled garlic. I read an article on big tech tracking. I wrote and posted to my blog.

The electricity went off around 8. Chris went outside to take pics of the snow. (The rain had turned to snow). He texted people to find out what is going on. I lit a candle in the bathroom. There was nothing to do. When daylight completely faded, I lit a candle in the diningroom. I lit a wooden skewer and got a gas burner going so I could make tea. But there was nothing to watch.

Apparently only half the base was out of electricity, so I drove around to see what areas were affected. It seemed the chapel was lit, but the RV park was not. So if need be, we could open the chapel for them. But then, just as we were taking bets on whether Taps would play, the electricity came on and it did play. Kind of odd that it went off at 8 and came on right at 10. Chris said they just needed to flip a breaker. Michelle texted me most of the time and offered us a place to stay if necessary.

Tv time was over, so I read e-mail for awhile, then went to bed.

The many ways to treat a cold

Sunday

I got up around 8. I was still congested. I mixed 12 g of vitamin C with several cups of water and sipped it. Then I brushed my teeth and swished. I followed that with another 12 g of C.

I spent the morning reading articles and sipping vitamin C water. I decided not to go to church because I am probably contagious. Chris' game started at noon. At 1, I started watching Defeat The Mandates in California. I texted Michelle that we were sick and would have to reschedule our get-together for dominoes. She brought over losenges and left them on the front porch.

I made breakfast late. Then I wanted to go outside in the sun, but it wasn't that warm. Michelle came over after 5. We walked around the block, and then went to the sauna at the gym. But there wasn't enough time left to really work up a sweat. Heather was there and we all had a nice chat. Then we got out and said goodbye to the lady at the desk. I think she wasn't happy that we were leaving a little after 6 because she wanted to be on her way home.

Michelle took me home, not worried about me being contagious. I invited her in and gave her a tour of the house. We sat on the couch and talked until Chris was done with his after-game chat. Then he joined the conversation. It went on until almost 9.

She left, and I made tea. it was too late for supper so I had a bowl of cherries and blueberries. We watched the last two episodes of Gomer Pyle and two episodes of Cheers. Then I wrote up my blog post and got ready for bed. However, I kept reading until it was almost midnight.

I guess it was my turn

Saturday

I woke up at 6, congested. I tried all sorts of things; vinegar and honey tea, hydrogen peroxide in ears, rinsed sinuses, vitamin C, etc. Chris gave me a coconut oil massage. I showered, and got dressed. I opened swap shop, and picked up the mail. I texted the lady who wanted to go to the swap shop that it was open.

I listened to an interview with Mike Adams on CHD.TV. I paused it when Michele called. She and I talked for a long time, mostly about fabric and sewing issues. Finally she talked to Chris, while I locked up the swap shop and picked up trash along the route.

I made and ate supper. Jenni called and wanted me to see her new car. I really didn't feel like it, but she was so excited that I went over there and made a fuss over it. She also told me about the prizes that Melanie was giving away at her shop in Tooele for Customer Appreciation Day.

I drank coconut water, and read articles. I wrote my blog post, then made tea and put frozen cherries and blueberries in a small dish. We watched four episodes of Gomer Pyle. We made the bed with clean sheets. I stayed up a little longer, then went to bed.

The dirtiest rug ever

Friday

I stayed in bed, hoping to go back to sleep. Finally I got up, and got ready for the day. I added some extra stitching to the star on the flag, widening it a little. I listened to a podcast by Dr. Berg.

I washed up and got dressed. Chris told me he had a sore throat. So I took extra precautions. I put hydrogen peroxide in my ears and avit C patch on my arm. I gave some C to Chris.

Chris went to work for his bi-weekly sit-rep, and I went to Steve's office. He helped me carry my appliances to its doorway. I vacuumed the small office thoroughly. Then I ran the carpet cleaner. It raised a cloud of dust. I went over and over the carpet but the water never ran clear. I lost count of how many times /i had to refill the water tank. I worked for two and a half hours, then decided it was as clean as it was going to get. I changed him $50, but he gave me $85.

I went home and Chris still not there. I made and ate breakfast. I listened to an interview on how Big Tech influences public opinion. I cleaned out the carpet cleaner and set the pieces out to dry. I put on a bathing suit and sat in the sun, reading a book.

I went to the post office to pick up the worms. I brought them back and considered how to make bedding for them. I kept putting it off until it was time to go walking. Then I rushed around, getting shredded paper and pieces of food for the worm farm, and then dumping them in.

I rushed off to go walking. But when I got to the school, Jenni wasn't home. I called Diane and she wasn't coming either. So I texted Jamie to see if she wanted to meet early. But she wasn't feeling well either. I went home, got a plastic bag, and walked around my block, picking up shreds of whatever the big mowers just ran over. When I got home again, I checked the worms, then made a salad for supper, using whatever was left in the fridge. I read e-mail and listened to interviews.

Then Jamie called and wanted to meet at the dog park. So I got ready and drove over there. She was throwing a small ball, which her dog would chase and bring back. But at the last minute, she would kick the larger ball and her dog would drop the small one and catch the bigger one. Amazing. We sat on the bench and did some tapping. I gave her cash for the last apartment we cleaned and she gave me back the keys to the swap shop. When her dog was tired out, we split up and went home.

I found Chris asleep on the couch when I got back. I jotted notes quietly for my blog. Then his 8pm alarm rang and woke him up. I posted to my blog, then made tea. We watched four episodes of Gomer Pyle. Then I caught up on the latest news and went to bed.

The Month of the Military Child

Thursday

I got up around 8. I rinsed and brushed and swished. I measured my fasting blood sugar. I experimented with an eyebrow pencil since my brows are going gray. It did not go well. I read e-mail and took breaks to swallow detox supplements and fix the star on the flag. I wasn't entirely happy with it.

I listened to a podcast on foliar feeding. To make leaf mold tea: soak a bag of smashed organic potato along with 1 cup of leaf mold in 4 gallons of water. Let sit until surface is covered in fine bubbles. Use immediately. Dilute 1 pint to two gallons for application to soil.

I harvested sprouts from the sweet potato and put them in water to encourage root growth. I made and ate breakfast. I started watching The Highwire. Chris came home for lunch. He said the flag fix was not good enough and suggested I re-do it.

I finished The Highwire, then read a book outside in the sun wearing a bathing suit. Afterward, I put on walking shoes and met Jenni at the school. We walked the usual route. Then I drove Jenni to the event, something to do with the month of the military child. Chris was there and introduced me to his new acting deputy. Jason said really nice things about Chris. They had bouncy houses and I asked if there was an age limit. Diane was there as the SARK. She seemed to think I might hurt myself. But I think the real problem would be stress incontinence. There was some kind of signing ceremony and there were cookies, which didn't interest me. Then I took Jenni home.

When I got home, I made salad: mixed greens, tomatoes, radishes, olive oil, vinegar, powdered spearmint, spices, and cheese. I tried one of the dried egg yolks. It was very salty. I cut up the remaining radishes and put them in pickled juice.

I read articles, then cleaned out the back seat of my car and put the vacuum and shampooer in there. I responded to a request to open the swap shop on Saturday. Chris came home with pizza.

I went looking for Steve's office - turns out it was only 3 minutes away, so I was back in 6 minutes. Chris was leaving for some event which was next door to Steve's office. Just as he left, Jamie drove up. She had donations in her truck. I picked out a glass bowl that was perfect for scrambling eggs. I gave her the keys and she took the rest to the swap shop.

I read articles until Chris came back from the end-of-the-exercise party. I wrote my blog post, then heated tea. We watched four episodes of Gomer Pyle and looked up some of the actors. My digestive system was a little uncomfortable, and I wondered what part of the salad was the problem.

We both read e-mail and I headed to bed first. But by the time I finished the nightly routine, he was already in bed.

The situation

Wednesday

I got up late. I prepared for coffee morning. I meditated and tapped. I added H2 to the line-up, and listened to the CD's.

Chris came home for lunch with a package of supplements and flax/chia seeds. I cleaned in the kitchen and bathrooms. Brian called to chat. I got a text from the CSM that she needed an embroidered star on a flag fixed.

I vacuumed. I soaked my feet in epsom salts while reading a book. I took a shower, dressed and put on walking shoes. I walked with the other three ladies. Michelle told me about a problem she had and didn't know who to tell. I went to Headquarters and met the CSM. She gave me a flag with an incomplete star on it. I took it home to fix. I walked by Chris' office on the way in and on the way out, but he never noticed.

I read Telegram messages while listening to This Week with Mary and Polly. When Chris came home, I discussed Michelle's situation with him, and whether or not I am attending some function tomorrow. Then I made tea and we watched four episodes of Gomer Pyle. He went to bed soon after and I stayed up to listen to a commentary.

Vinegar and eggshellls

Tuesday

I got up late. After the usual morning routine, I took the roasted egg shells from the oven and put them in a baggie. Some went into a jar which I filled with distilled vinegar. I left them sit and the concoction frothed as the vinegar released minerals from the shells. The froth died back after awhile. The directions say to leave it sit for a week.

I read news articles. I came across a recipe for flax bread, which I want to try when my flax order comes in. I made and ate breakfast. Chris came home and put chicken in the oven at a low temperature.

I rested my right wrist on a bag of frozen lentils. I rubbed pineapple peel on my arm and forgot to wash it off. But it didn't make the skin on my arm look any better, which it did do on my face.

At 2:30 I went to Saronna's house with some egg white muffins leftover from Sunday. We played music and she took breaks to tend to the kids. Wyatt came over after school. He did a good job on the B flat scale.

When I got home, Jamie rescheduled our meeting so she could concentrate on swap shop items for the Ukraine refugees. I did more research online. I ate fruit, then Chris came home and pulled the chicken out. He said Faye wanted me to call her. He cooked mushrooms while I chatted with her. Then I called Kurt to tell him her news. Chris warmed up rice in the mushroom juice. I made tea and we watched four episodes of Gomer Pyle. We both stayed up. I went to bed first, and Chris stayed up to write an e-mail.

Another carton of eggs

Monday

I did not want to get up. My inner world seemed so much safer than the outer world. But eventually I did. After the usual first morning stuff, I read articles. One article explained that during Prohibition, the federal gov't ordered the poisoning of industrial alcohols, products stolen by bootleggers and resold as drinkable alcohol. This program killed at least 10,000 people in it's effort to get people to stop drinking.

Around noon I made breakfast. I watched a video on using a refractometer to find brix number. He also mentioned soaking egg shells in vinegar to get the nutrients out. Then somehow I was looking at FPJ, or fermented plant juice, which is part of KNF, or Korean Natural Farming.

LAB: 1 cup fermented rice water to 4 cups raw milk. Add 2-3 T raw sugar or molasses to keep for 15 days. 1Ml of LAB to 1 liter of water as seed soak. Drench soil in winter.

I noticed my mobile data was turned on, again. I keep it off so I wonder how it gets turned on. What else is getting turned on?

CJ came by with a carton of eggs. She took the bag of empty egg boxes that I left on the door. But she did not ring the doorbell, so when I spotted her, I had to run out with cash to pay her. We had a short conversation.

I put on walking shoes and went to the school. I walked with Diane, Jenni, and Michelle. We paired up for chatting purposes. Afterward, Diane went back to work and the remaining three chatted. Then Michelle went home and I went into Jenni's house to see her plants. I offered her a pineapple top once it roots and she accepted.

When I got home, I whipped up a batch of seed crackers with the new eggs. I made more ingredient mixes for the seed cracker box. I also refilled some of the containers in the breakfast box. I arranged egg shells on a baking sheet and put it in the oven with the seed crackers. I hardboiled most of the remaining older eggs. Jamie called and wanted to meet tomorrow afternoon. Chris came home from work. He wanted to take me to the community club to eat since they bought extra food for people who are here temporarily. But then that fell through. So I made a salad and ate the eggs that cracked during boiling.

I read articles and listened to some videos while piecing puzzles. I also jotted notes to my blog. After posting for yesterday, I made tea. We watched Christmas in Connecticut, courtesy of Netflix. After a bit, Chris went to bed and I stayed up to finish watching something.

Egg white muffins

Sunday

I got up late. I read e-mail while resting my right wrist on a bag of frozen lentils. I made more green mix. I fixed breakfast and listened to an interview on soil health.

I got dressed for church (with my left hand). I put a few egg white muffins in a container. Saronna and Diane said they weren't coming so I figured it would just be Jenni and me. I arrived early, and the guest pastor wasn't there. I gave a muffin to the chaplain's assistant and he really liked it. Then the pastor arrived, but he didn't want to eat before the sermon. Diane came with her whole family. She and her husband each ate a muffin. Then Michelle and her family came. I wished I could run home for more.

We all sat down for prayer, stood for singing, then sat for the sermon. Afterward, there were 4 muffins left: the pastor got two and Jenni and her husband each got one. As long as the pastor got some, I was happy. We agreed to meet at the gym at 4:30.

I went home and changed my clothes. I put on my bathing suit and sat out in the sun, reading the book on uric acid. When my skin turned pink, I came in and read in a chair. I checked some e-mail, then got ready for the gym.

I got there a little late, just as Jenni drove up. Diane was waiting inside. We worked out in the second room. Michelle came and she worked on the machines in the first room. After half an hour they went to the sauna. I got my gym bag and joined them. We had a nice chat in the heat. We continued to chat after getting out of the sauna, at which point Heather went in. I left a muffin for Heather.

I stayed late to chat with the lady at the desk. Then I went home. I ate leftover fruit and such. I washed a napa cabbage and put it in the leftover kimchi juice. I read e-mail and listened to Dr. Berg videos. I made tea and we watched four episodes of Gomer Pyle. I rested my wrist on a bag of frozen lentils again. I got dressed for bed, then read e-mail for awhile. Chris went to bed soon after TV, but I stayed up till 11:30.

The greenhouse

Saturday

I got up around 8. I prepared for the day and read e-mail. At 10 Chris gave me a coconut oil massage. I took a shower and got dressed. I wrote a check to the church.

I went to the swap shop. A group of people were there with mostly kid stuff. They were moving in a day or two, but hung around to look at things. Jamie arrived before they left. Then she went home for more bags. She was collecting things for Ukrainian refugees. When she got back, we sat in the coat room and tapped together. Around 12:30, we finished up. She wanted the swap shop keys so I handed them over. I went home for breakfast.

I talked to Faye to find out when her mastectomy will be, but it isn't scheduled yet.

Chris put a sewing machine in my trunk and followed me to the chapel. I set up for sewing class. No one came, so I cleaned in the kitchen. The stainless steel fridge was hard to clean spotlessly. Diane texted that she was coming over for rocks.

I went home and collected rocks from various places around the yard. Diane came over with 5-gallon buckets. We half-filled them with rocks I have collected from gopher mounds. We went to the greenhouse by the garden. (One of the gardens was planted already! ) She had cleaned it up and covered the floor with red mulch. We made a rock path. I donated a shower curtain from the last apartment to cover the gardening table. We went back to my house for more rocks. After spreading them, she took me home. She gave me a package of strawberry starts.

Jenni texted about walking, so I suggested in 10 minutes. I put on my shoes and drank tea. I showed up at her house and we walked around the school block. I brought a plastic bag for picking up trash. I was surprised how much there was considering I had just done it a few days ago.

When I got home, I made a salad and read e-mail. I ate pineapple and noticed my mouth was bleeding. I checked online, and found out that bromelain digests protein, which is what the inside of my mouth is made of. Then I looked up pineapple facials, hair tonic. I rubbed pineapple peels on my face. I wondered if it would be good for that itch. But if it digests protein, it would break down my hairs.

I wrote down the events of the day. We watched four episodes of Gomer Pyle. Chris gets such a kick out of it. Then I read e-mail while Chris warmed up the sheets. I listened to an interview on soil. I expected to help him make the bed, but he did it on his own because my right hand is hurting. We both stayed up late, then went to bed.

Iridology

Friday

I got up before 7:30 to watch episode 12 of Covid Secrets plus the bonus episode. It was over 3 hours worth of content, but I discovered the player had an option to play it at 1x, 1.25x, 1.5x, and 2x. That allowed me to go through it faster. Jamie called and wants to meet tomorrow. I had breakfast made by 10 and finished eating by 11. I also dressed and made a shopping list.

Chris had gone to work and the commissary and was back just in time for us to go to Tooele at 11. We listened to the book on CD along the way. We stopped at the bank to cash a check, then went to Melanie's. Chris dropped me off and went shopping by himself. I sat with Melanie for an iridology appointment.

She took close-up pics of my eyes, both pupils and whites. Then she had me fill out an intake form while she examined the pictures and made notes, frequently referring to a book. When I was done, she explained what iridology was and my results. We had a very nice discussion and then she gave me the three things I most need to look out for.

I shopped in the store, then checked out. With points, I bought a cheese snack. I went out to the car where Chris was waiting. We shared the snack on the way home, listening to the CD.

We stopped at the post office, then went to the house to unload groceries. Chris put most of them away. I checked e-mail, and answered texts from Michelle. We agreed to meet at the gym for a workout. I went outside to disburse gopher mounds and collect the stones for Diane. Then I prepped a sauna bag and headed to the gym.

When I got to the gym, none of the ladies were there. Thinking they were just late, I went to the cardio room to use some of the machines. Still no one showed. Afterwards, I went to the car for my sauna bag. I turned on the sauna and put on a suit. I sat some and stretched a little. Finally near the end, Heather came in. We had a nice chat before the gym closed and we had to leave.

When I got home, I ate some leftover veggies for supper. I read articles and listened to some podcasts. I made tea. We watched four episodes of Gomer Pyle. Chris went to bed and I stayed up to write to my blog, and put instructional pics on my phone.

One way to get rid of tumbleweeds

Thursday

I got up late because it was overcast and the daylight looked to be earlier. I rinsed and brushed. I resumed listening to the QnA. Phosphoric acid (Phosfood) and A-C carbomide are good for kidneys. He called out the leadership of the Catholic church for their 'social justice' program and for changing the catechism to eliminate the second commandment.

I ate a spoonful of coconut oil to see if I digest fats well. It was somewhat problematic. I made breakfast, and ate while watching The Highwire:

There are 10 new bills in Cal. pushing lockdowns and passports. The FDA is approving booster shots without going through their advisory committee. There are 2 protests coming up: VisforVaccine, and DefeattheMandates.

Chris came home for lunch, and put fish in the oven. I read outside in the sunshine. I listened to This Week with Mary and Polly. I took fish out of the oven at 3:15. I put on my shoes and went walking with Diane and Jenni. I took a plastic bag for collecting litter. That's how I found a patch. It had velcro on the back and numbers on the front. They told me to give it to my husband. So after the walk, I drove to Chris' office. I gave the patch to Charity who was training the new office manager. She was going to give it to the police.

I went home and read more articles. Chris came home with pizza. After supper he went to watch the controlled burn of tumbleweeds. I could see it at a distance from our house, both the flame and the smoke.

I wanted to go but I had 'homework'. I looked through all my files for a good project for Saturday. I couldn't choose between a basket or a hat. I decided on the hat because I found the right fabric for it. I pulled several fabrics for the project and posted a pic and write-up to the Dugway Facebook page. Then I worked on my blog.

It was dark, but Chris wasn't back yet. I made tea. It was upwards of 9 when Chris came back. He drove me down the street for a better view of the fire. He showed me a pic of a rabbit that ran out of the flames (and died).

We watched 4 episodes of Cheers. I got very sleepy so I went right to bed. Chris stayed up for a little bit, then came to bed. I had trouble falling asleep, so we snuggled. But the hot flashes put an end to that.
