Apt, game, swap shop

Sunday

We got up around 7:30, thinking it was 8:30. He had slept well (even after all the sleeping he did yesterday) but I did not. I kept kicking off the weighted blanket because it was hot and impeded movement. My back did not feel good and I slowly made my way to the bathroom, then laid down again. But sleep was not going to come back.

I got up and took supplements. I read e-mail for awhile. I made cheese squares, breakfast mix, and supplements. I ate the crusts of the cheese squares. I read outside for 15 minutes, enjoying the sun when it consented to shine.

I made and ate breakfast, then got dressed. I packed up some cheese squares, and took my trombone to the chapel. I was please to see John again after 3 months. The service started and we sang praise songs. The chaplain spoke about the fall of Adam and Eve. Then Saronna, Sophia and I played two hymns. We chatted after the service. Finally I took my cheese squares and went home.

I changed my clothes, then went to the apartment. Jamie was there so we talked until Saronna showed up with her kids to empty the fridge. I worked on the scorched pan left behind. I decided to take it home to finish. I saw Jamie in the parking lot, so we talked. She wants to mow my yard. Then I went home. I heated up some ribs and sat outside reading with the weighted blanket. I came in and sopped up the juice with a piece of sweet potato. The game call started and we all chatted waiting for everyone to show up. I heard Jamie mowing our lawn. Then we played the game, fighting monsters and healing our brethren.

At 8, I went to the swap shop to open it for Casey. But he wasn't there, so I left it unlocked and went home. The game was still going so I participated as best I could. Then Casey texted that he had arrived and it was locked. So I ran down there again and unlocked it. He got his tripod and we couldn't find the crown Michelle wanted. So he went home and I locked it and went home.

The game was over. Jamie was still here, weedwhacking, so I gave her the weighted blanket from last night and warned her about the sprinklers. I jotted notes for my blog. I made tea. We watched one episode of WTR. Then Chris went to bed. I stayed up to finish an interview. I put off posting about band for tomorrow (little did I know). I put on a Youtube video for delta waves, adjusted my headphones and laid in the recliner. I don't know how long I was there before I got up and went to bed.

Sleeping issues

Saturday

I got up late, like after 8:30. I was still covered by the weighted blanket. Chris was sleeping on the couch after having run a 5am game. I brushed and swished. I took supplements and read e-mail. When I was ready for a massage, I found Chris sleeping in bed. After much deliberation, I woke him up. He agreed to the massage. So I spread the white sheet over my side and he proceeded. Then I took my shower and he took his.

I got dressed, then made and ate breakfast. I read e-mail and Facebook messages. Then I chose cleaning materials from the list I had prepared for Keli's place. I was missing two because they were at the apartment. So I went to the apartment and cleaned for an hour. I brought the two cleaners back with me. I went to Keli's RV and cleaned for her for an hour and a quarter. She paid me and I went home.

Chris was cooking a roast in the oven. I read messages from all sources. I looked through my Myst IV notes and realized that the puzzles I am working on are the last ones. Then the whole game is complete. After he pulled out the roast, I ate some of that, and finished off the ground beef. I also had some tomatoes and carrots. He roasted the rest of the small peppers and I ate some of that too.

I worked on my blog, then made tea. I found Chris asleep on the couch, so I went back to my laptop. Around 10 I woke him up to put the beef away. Then we both went to bed and he spread the second weighted blanket over me. It was pretty heavy and I wondered if it would affect my back.

Two weighted blankets!

Friday

Chris got up around 8 and took a shower. I got up later, not sure I slept any better for having the weighted blanket. Despite my fears that it would be too heavy, it seemed not to be heavy enough. I brushed and swished, washed up and got dressed. I put the blanket in a bag with the magnet stone and went to the chapel.

When I got there, Sophia and Wilhelm were waiting, with umbrellas. I unlocked the chapel and let them in. Since I am technically not allowed to be alone with them in the building, I stood in the doorway and waited for Saronna to arrive. Why they would choose to walk in the rain is beyond me. But the air was fresh and clear.

So we all went to the fellowship hall. I worked with Sophia while the boys played with the magnet. Then I worked with Moira while Sophia played School Bus with the other kids. At 10 they went home. I laid out my weighted blanket to ponder how to add weight to the outside. Then I noticed that some squares had broken stitching and the filling had fallen into the adjacent square. Sigh. I packed it up and went home.

I made and ate breakfast. I added items to the shopping list. Then we went to Tooele for a grocery run, listening to the book on CD. When we got back, we stopped at the commissary for a few last things. Then we went home to put up the groceries. Chris put beef ribs in the oven and I listened to an interview with Bryan Ardis: Ozempic (Wegovy, etc) is made from hila monster venom, and can paralyze the stomach and intestines for years after discontinuation.

I went to the apartment to assess the situation. Steve walked up with me, carrying my stepladder while I carried a tub of cleaners. I got the key from the lockbox and went inside. He came in to help open the windows. I thanked him and he went next door to his apartment. I walked through the rooms, noting what was left and whether it was trash. I picked up bits of trash from the floor. I looked in the fridge and texted Saronna. I put hot ammonia water in the meat drawer and loaded it with filters and burner bowls. I placed it in the oven. I cleaned in the kitchen.

I was about to go home when Jamie arrived. I showed her what I found. We went through all the swap shop stuff. She found some things her son would like. And then, we found TWO weighted blankets. Wished I'd seen them several days ago! So she carried the blankets to my car and I carried a small bag of pickings and something of hers. We walked to the parking lot and put stuff in her truck. She put the blankets in my car. And I went home.

I finished the mushrooms. The bacon was done as was the sweet potato. I ate part of the potato. We took the 5 gallon water jug to the refill station and refilled it. Chris did the lifting.

I worked on my blog in anticipation of Game Night. It took longer than I thought so I rushed out with the cheese and forgot the game notebook. When I got there, they were not to be found. The game was up, but I talked to the dog for a few seconds and it disappeared. So I sat until Michelle noticed me. Then Casey put in his password and the game came back. I gave her the cheese. We talked as I loaded the game.

Getting the color wheel was easy, but finding my way back to Serenia was harder. Then I followed paths to the old dream chamber and used the color wheel to decide where to put all the colored dots. It took some time, but got easier as I went. Then I could open the door and go inside. I explored inside and finally went up the stairs.

I found Yeesha strapped to a chair. She begged me to pull the silver lever to free her, but Achenar showed up and told me to pull the golden one because Yeesha was inhabited by Sirrus, whose body I saw in a life tube downstairs. I saved the game at that point. Michelle told me to pull the gold lever, so I did. Yeesha slumped backward, and Achenar said he would give a little extra life to the old flower, but I had to go into Dream and free Yeesha from Sirrus.

So I did. I was presented with a puzzle to organize lines of a conversation between Sirrus and Yeesha and to put them with the object they were associated with. Easy enough, except that you can only move a whole stack at a time. Then the top one drops off and becomes the bottom one of the next stack. Kinda frustrating, but doable. Michelle looked up hints and found out that there is a more difficult version in store when I finish this one.

It was after 11, so I shut the game down. However we continued to talk for some time. Then I went home. Chris was already in bed. I did my bedtime routine and took the first weighted blanket from the apartment with me to bed.

The Internet lied to me!

Thursday

I got up around 8, having slept pretty well. I put the egg boxes and money in a bag and hung it on the front door. I brushed and swished. I took supplements. I meted out pebbles for the third row of the blanket while listening to more of a podcast from last night. I did a 4th and 5th row, too. About 15 minutes per row. A few more rows and it got more difficult to handle.

A lady called me to submit an order for an offer that expired. She didn't call from the number that I was given, but she knew the number, so I trusted her. And she knew the details of my order. She told me what it would be after the discount. So I gave her my cc number and she charged it.

At 10 I got dressed and went to the Community Club. My car seat was wet. I went upstairs and waited with Anka while the chaplain got the movie loaded. A few more ladies came and then he started the movie. It was called One Night with the King. I watched as the Amalakite queen escaped and somewhere, gave birth to a son, creating the line of Haman. Then, much later, the story of Esther being gathered up with other young women to the palace and the king making his choice.

At that point, it was 11:15. I slipped out and drove to the apartments. Jerry let me in and we talked. I offered him boxes so he could finish packing. Then the Housing people arrived. They verified that all the appliances were there. Then he paid me and we signed the cleaning contract. The ladies took pics of it and had other papers for him to sign. Then I put the key in the lockbox and set it on his door. He met me at the swap shop and I let him in so he could get boxes. Then I locked up. I gave him the code to the lock box and went home.

I made and ate breakfast while watching The Highwire. I also worked on the weighted blanket. I was half finished with the last row when the power went out. I tried running the handwheel, but that got tiresome. So I left it and went back to listen to more of an interview until the buffer ran out. Then the power came back on. I finished the weighted blanket and remarked that it was like carrying a sack of potatoes.

The internet did not come back on. I read other things until they also ran out. I jotted notes for my blog. Chris asked me to attend the closing ceremony for the Month of the Military Child. So I put on shoes and went over to the ACS building. Chris was busy talking so I went inside. Not many people were there. I spoke to each one then went into the library. Keli was there and we talked for some time. I heard Chris give the opening speech in the other room, then he came in the library to get the next season of WTR. That was good because I had forgotten all about it. He went back to the festivities.

After talking to Keli about the owls in the tree above her RV (she's so excited), I went to the main room. It was full of parents and kids. I saw Casey sitting in the back, so I moved in that direction. I passed the colonel and his family, but they did not respond. I sat and talked to Casey. Then Saronna came over. It was hard to hear over the din. Chris left to pick up a pizza. I thought he was coming back, but he didn't.

It was after 6 and the crew was cleaning up. So I went home. I heated leftovers and made a salad. Casey came to pick up Chris for Knife Night. I wrestled with the old desktop to get it in running condition again. Then I scanned some hymns and printed them out as big as would fit on the page. Chris came back while I was deleting all the black from the right edge.

I worked on my blog and made tea. We watched two episodes of WTR. Chris went to bed. I read for a little longer, then took my weighted blanket to bed. It was too light so I folded it in half. That was better.

Make a weighted blanket, they said.

It'll be fun, they said.

Learn from our mistakes and it'll be quick and easy, they said.

HAH! What do they know? They have rocks in their head.

The background check that isn't yet

Wednesday

I got up before 7:30. I made coffee and exercised. I read for half an hour. I meditated and tapped. I threw the not-yet-weighted blanket in the wash, along with some towels and potholders. I cleaned the bathrooms and kitchen. I washed the dishes and other utensils that I use everyday. I vacuumed, but didn't mop.

I emptied the vacuum cleaner. I laid out in the sun for 20 minutes. I talked to Jamie about finishing up our most recent house. I took a shower and got dressed. I went to the gym to meet Michelle. We worked out a little, then went for a walk and talked about stuff.

I went home and made a list of my past addresses. Then I put the serger in my car. I went to the library and gave the serger to Keli. Melissa showed me where Emily's office was. I knocked on the door and Shannon let me in. They were almost done.

Emily and I talked about the background check and getting into VMIS. Neither are quite ready. We also talked about the garden, lending closet, food closet, relaxation classes, cooking classes, etc.

After an hour, I went home. I opened a coconut and drank the water. I checked messages. I got out the kitchen scale and measured out 43g of pebbles into 11 jar lids. I taped a piece of paper into a funnel and used it to slide the pebbles into the channels of the weighted blanket. It seemed heavy after just one row. So I did the second row at 28 grams.

I worked on my blog. I made tea. We watched two episodes of WTR. Chris went to bed. I stayed up to listen to part of a discussion on dissolving the Federal Reserve.

My first try at installing a screen protector

Tuesday

I woke up early to use the bathroom, then went back to sleep. I woke up around 7:30. My hands ached, which puzzled me until I remembered eating canned food yesterday. And a jar of spicy salsa. I got up and got dressed. I brushed and took supplements. I put on some music and washed out all the dishes of sprouting carrots and celery and cabbage. Only one carrot survived. Most of the others are ready to be planted.

I watched a video on how to replace a screen protector. Same brand as the one I acquired. I thought I knew what I was doing. I took the case apart. I took the old layer off and laid it on the new one and cut around it (since it was for a different, larger, model). Then I washed my hands and followed the directions. But something went wrong and I had to pull off an extra layer, which was so strongly attached that it pulled the protective layer off. So I added a few steps of my own. The result was passable, so I reassembled the case.

I went to clean for 2 hours, working on floors, mopping, scrubbing and re-mopping. I came home for breakfast. I read outside for some period of time. I came in and listened to interviews.

I made a plan for a weighted blanket 11 sq by 13 sqs. I laid out the cooling blanket and marked off 4 inch columns. I started sewing the layers along those lines. Then my phone rang. It was Steve asking me to open the swap shop so he could do some work there after he got off of work. So I ran down there and unlocked the doors. I came back and finished sewing the columns. But they were too short, so I laid it out in a larger space and drew in the missing lines.

I walked down to the swap shop to talk to Steve. We had a nice chat. Then I walked home. Chris was already home. I heated leftovers and made a salad. I read e-mail as I ate. Then I finished sewing the channels in the blanket. I threw it on the washing machine.

I worked on my blog and made tea. We watched two episodes of WTR. I stayed up listening to 70's music after Chris went to bed. Then I went to bed, hoping to be more relaxed. But sleep was a long time coming.

My new kitchen helper

Monday

It wasn't a good night of sleep because I had to keep moving to get comfortable. Sigh. I woke up as Chris was getting dressed for work. I went in to rumination and when I came out, he was gone. It was almost 7:30.

I checked messages. I listened to videos. I tried to thread the serger. I wasn't sure how and I couldn't see the little holes well enough. I had to look for a video. I found one that was for a very similar machine. After watching it, I sent it to Stirling to see if he wanted to buy it. But no.

I went cleaning for 2.5 hours, mostly floors and baseboards. Then I came home for breakfast. I assembled the StirMate and used it to stir the goat milk until it was time to make cheese. I added the vinegar and left it stirring. Then I strained out the curds and collected three quarts of whey.

I walked to the post office for mail. I slid in a box that someone left outside the swap shop door. I saw that the barber shop was being painted. Maybe we'll get a barber soon.

I read outside, barefoot. When I came in, I looked through the list of requested hymns. I added the key signatures, then chose two that were alike. I wrote the numbers on the back of an envelop and put it in my purse.

I went to band at the chapel. I didn't have list of hymns. Hmmm. I played show tunes with Keli and Sophia. Then I picked the one hymn I could remember and we played that.

I went home, and worked on my blog while heating tea. I stripped a head of lettuce and planted the heel. Chris was doing laundry. We watched two episodes of Walker Texas Ranger. They added the theme song to the awful opening sequence and it was so much better.

Then we folded laundry. I read e-mail, then got ready for bed. Chris went to bed. I put on a sleep 'video' and listened to it while lying in the recliner. I covered up with my new cooling blanket. I was annoyed when ads would come on, so I got up and went to bed.

The cat came back

Sunday

I got up around 7:30. I had slept ok, but no better than usual. I took supplements and read e-mail. I whipped up a batch of seed crackers for church. I made more breakfast mix, then more spice mix. I read outside in the sun for a bit. When I came in, it was time to make breakfast. I also practiced the hymns for church. Then I got dressed for church.

I took seed crackers and the hymns and went to the chapel. When I walked in, the chaplain was practicing the pre-sermon songs. He noted that I was not carrying my trombone. I dropped everything I was carrying into a chair and ran home to get my trombone. I came back and assembled it and sat it beside me.

I talked to some people as they came in. I gave Ginger some pink salt to try. Then I sat down and he started the service. We sang three praise songs and he spoke from Genesis. Then I played two hymns and the service was over. Several people commented favorably on my playing. I asked Rick about Jenni. People ate seed crackers and wandered out. I left just ahead of Ginger.

I called Keli to say I was going to the swap shop. I opened the shop and got the furniture room key to open it. She came in and got the inversion table. She also had a serger and allowed me to take it and try it out on Stirling's behalf.

When I got home, I changed clothes. I read outside for a bit, then laid on the recliner and tried to take a nap. I gave up a little after 4. I read e-mail and picked up the house a bit. Then I put on my bathing suit and grabbed an old towel and headed to the gym. Michelle had the sauna warmed up. We sat inside and talked and drank liquids until we sweated. Afterward, I washed off in the shower and redressed. We agreed to meet later to work on the “B”. I went home.

I checked e-mail and listened to a discussion of financial coups. Still no word from Chris. I made a salad for supper. I cut up a pineapple and stored the pieces in the fridge. I put on some drops of progesterone. I worked on my blog. Chris texted that his plane had landed. I started watching Call the Midwife. It wasn't a story this time. It was clips of the actors saying their thoughts on things.

When darkness fully descended, I met Michelle at the gym. She had a jug of iron water. She gave me some for my mister. We watered a big B in the lawn. When I heard the concentration she used, I was shocked. I hope it turns out ok.

I went home to finish watching. Chris came back near the end, so I paused it. He unpacked and went to bed. So I finished watching, thinking it was the last episode. But it wasn't and another one started. So I watched that one, too, thinking it must be the last since it was labled Christmas Special. When another one came up, I shut it off and went to bed.

Oh the projects we'll make!

Saturday

I got up around 8, having not slept well. I took the last of the probiotic. I checked messages. I took the morning supplements. I looked for hints to the game. I parsed out a weeks worth of supplements, but I wasn't feeling right. I read more Star Trek memes before I realized I was wasting time. I searched for a reference to RLS in my notes but could not find it.

I took a shower, then made and ate breakfast. I listened to an interview with Dr. William Pepper, a lawyer who investigated the assassination of Martin Luther King. He died earlier this month. He had written a book giving evidence that was never heard before the trial in 1999. King did not die from the gunshot, but rather from being smothered in the hospital by agents as health care workers were being shooed from his room.

Sewing class: I went to the chapel and set up the room with two machines. Then I started working on a sample of the heating pad project. Saronna came with her kids. They all chose to make the stuffed airplane. I helped Willhelm, but the girls did pretty well all on their own. Sophia gave hers to Jedidiah, who was the one who requested this project.

It was over early, so I went home. Not much later, I went to the commissary. When I got back, I put groceries away. Then I read a book out in the sun. I came in and laid on the recliner.

I was almost asleep when the phone rang. Michelle wanted me to come over to record a short video clip for inserting in a longer video. So I put on my shoes and went over to 2nd street. We met at Saronna's house and sat in Michelle's car to make the clip. Then I went home.

I read some e-mail then heated ground beef for supper. Then I went to the chapel for Project Night. Summer and her mother were waiting. I unlocked the door and we went in. Summer set her kids up with headphones and a pad showing a movie. Stirling and Meryann came. They decided to do the heating pad project and brought a big container of rice. Casey brought his electronic project to work on. Summer's mother made the airplane and then the knot bag. (You see, the airplane was just a gateway project) Jenni brought clothes to alter. I looked at Summer's machine to get it running. But it was missing a bobbin case. I finished the heating pad and laid out some hexagons. The chaplain asked that I read a verse for Project Nights, so Casey volunteered one: 2 Kings, chapter 18, verse 27. I started reading it out loud but could not continue. Who knew?

Before 9, we packed up. I went home and took supplements, I rubbed some progesterone on my wrist. I watched an episode of Call the Midwife. Then I worked on my blog. Finally it was time to go to bed.

An unproductive day

Friday

I got up hearing the alarm at 8. My back hurt and my ears were ringing louder than usual. I took the probiotic, brushed my teeth and got dressed. I checked messages. Saronna still had sick kids so they are not coming to Math Morning. Sigh. I took the rest of the supplements. I fertilized the plants, then got some paper and went to the chapel.

I opened the chapel and set up for math. I had a book. I read for 45 minutes, then concluded that no one was coming. So I locked up and went home.

I checked messages. I looked through cleaning contracts to make sure the information was all there. I cross-referenced them with my notes file. I made an envelop for Jamie with her payment.

I made and ate breakfast while listening to Tucker interview someone about the migrant crisis. I forced myself to make decisions about sewing class, then posted for that and for Project Night.

Then I chose two hymns for Sunday, in the same key and copied them from the hymnal. I blew them up 130%, then cleaned off the dark stuff where the page couldn't touch the copier because of the spine. I printed it and drew in missing notes. Then I practiced them for Sunday. I went to Saronna's house and sat on the back porch with Sophia. We worked on some worksheets she had from math class. Although, somehow her math class is over now and … what do they do for the rest of the year?

After that, I went to the house to clean. I discovered that the only way to get the embedded dirt from the floor boards was to scrub it with a mesh-covered sponge dipped in ammonia water. Sigh. I did the worst parts, hoping my back wouldn't go out on me. Chris called from the convention to say hello during a break. Then I went back to cleaning.

At 6, I went home. I listened to a talk on parasites while I made a salad and heated some cubes of steak. After eating, I watched videos of putting on a screen protector. I am not sure the one I found fits my phone so I looked up a video on how to cut it to fit. Hmmm. Not sure I have the right tools for that.

I worked on my blog. I made tea. I prepared for game night. I took some cheese squares and the notebook and went to Michelle's house. I gave her the cheese, then read some jokes from the notebook. The game was on, so I loaded my latest version. I followed the notes in my book, over and over again, not getting a successful result. Michelle called up a walkthrough on her phone and I saw my numbers were out of order. It still took me a long time to get it right, but then the walkway to the ruined elevator opened up and I could go see the medallion with the clue to Serenia. But it had no colors on it! Arrgghh! Thinking I had gone through the world of Spire too quickly, I went back to click on things that were clues. But still, no colors.

Michelle talked about making a video clip parodying SNL parodying a movie I never saw. Then I thanked them and went home. I got ready for bed and slept in my usual spot but as far toward the bottom as possible.

Composing a post for Math Morning

Thursday

I woke up before 7:30 but did not get up till 8. I took the probiotic, got dressed, drank some hydrogen water. I checked messages online.

I went cleaning for an hour, but still didn't get grease spots off of the wall. I went to Housing to turn in the bracelet, then went to the club for Bible study. No one there, so I got up to leave. I spoke to Stirling and two ladies came in. So I sat down again. We discussed health issues for 25 minutes, then read and talked about the last two chapters of Esther. Then one lady told us how God's hand moved in her life.

It was almost noon, so I went to the post office and then home. I made breakfast and watched The Highwire. I also read e-mail and Telegram messages. Then I remembered that it was Thursday, the day I post for Math Morning and Sewing Class. So I went through all the sewing stuff I have saved on my computer and picked a project. I made a template and then a better one. I cut and sewed and stuffed. Then I took pics of the airplane.

I composed an announcement for Math Morning and spent way too long looking for a Star Trek math meme to go with it. I finally posted it about 6:30. I went over to Keli's RV and bought some filters from her for the vacuum that she gave me. When I got back, I decided it was a good day for a walk. So I took a bag for trash and walked over to 408 to bring the trash can in. But it was not at the curb. So I guess someone else rolled it back. Anyway, I picked up trash as I went and threw it in my trash can when I got home.

I texted with Michelle. I made a salad and ate it. I listened to Dr. Shiva talk about the system in place to oppress the masses. I worked on my blog for Wednesday. Then I watched an episode of Call the Midwife. Then I listened to some ethereal music while reading e-mail. I took the evening supplements and a half tsp of baking soda. Finally I went through my bedtime routine and crawled into bed upside down. I may have gotten to sleep a little sooner than usual.

Call the Midwife

Wednesday

I got up around 7:30. Chris had been gone a long time. I took the probiotic and made coffee. I exercised and drybrushed. I took supplements and read for half an hour. I did tapping and meditation. Then I cleaned the bathrooms and kitchen. I washed dishes, and emptied the dishwasher. Then I vacuumed and mopped. Chris did not come home for lunch.

I took a shower, then went walking with Michelle around her neighborhood. I dropped motor oil off at Housing and returned the house key. I drank coconut water. I stopped at the post office, then went to the library to return a book and pick up another one.

I went cleaning. I brought an iron but it didn't seem to do more for the red wax than the plastic scraper. I tried scrubbing with blends of baking soda. Still nothing. The only thing that worked was steel wool and that took EVERYTHING off including the finish.

I called Chris but he was already on his way to the airport. After a bit more cleaning, I left. I ran the garbage bin of the previous house out to the curb. I came home and read e-mail, listened to episodes of the tapathon challenge for weight loss.

When I realized it was almost 9, I went to Netflix and called up Call the Midwife. The next episode (its been years) came right up. I watched it. After the episode was over, I got ready for bed. I set up a sleeping spot across the bottom of the bed.

Then I remembered my blog. After posting, I recorded cleaning hours for the current house, wrote notes on it, wrote a to-do list, and made a list of what I would like to have on hand next time I clean Keli's place.

Then I did my bedtime routine, and slipped under the covers at the bottom of the bed. Sadly it was not more comfortable than my usual spot, but for some reason it did seem to stop the hot flashes. I laid awake for a long time contemplating it.

Michele prepares for an interview

Tuesday

I woke up around 6 to use the bathroom. Then Chris got up. He hadn't heard his phone alarm so he slept in. We stayed in bed until after Reveille. Then he took his shower and went to work.

I scooted to the bottom of the bed and went back to sleep, sort of. I got up around 8 and took the probiotic. Then I finished listening to a podcast with a lawyer named Todd Callender. I jotted notes for my blog, then watered the plants.

I stopped at Housing to schedule an inspection for 408 for after lunch. Then I went to 646 to clean for 2.5 hours. I went home for lunch. I pausing it before 1 to go to the inspection. I explained to the inspectors the things that didn't work, like the toilet and doorbell. I asked Connie about getting a tumbleweed baler to the garden. Then just before I left, I asked what to do with the used motor oil in the trash can. She said I could take it to self-help. So I went straight there, but Self-help was closed.

I went home and finished breakfast and reading e-mail. Then I went by the post office to pick up the mail. I went back to cleaning for 2 hours. I would have stayed longer, but I didn't want to miss the quilt guild meeting.

It was already in progress when I got home. I signed in to Zoom and let it play on my screen while I heated up some steak and made a salad. As I ate and watched, Chris came home from work. He cooked up some ground beef and called Michele to help her prepare for an interview for a job on Dugway.

I worked on my blog. Chris wasn't ready yet, so I read e-mail for awhile, then I made tea. We watched two episodes of Walker Texas Ranger. He packed his suitcase and went to bed. I stayed up to read e-mail, then went through my bedtime routine. I laid in bed and prayed for sleep.

Goodbye Brittany

Monday

I got up at 7, having been awakened much earlier and unable to go back to sleep. I mended three pairs of pants and laid them on Chris' bed. I went cleaning from 9:45 till noon. It was really dirty kitchen. Jamie was there, working upstairs.

I went home for a long lunch. I took carrots, jicama and avocado dip to the going-away party for Brittany at the gym. The "B" still hadn't shown up. I sat for two hours talking to Michelle and the others. I kept texting Chris, and finally he arrived. We both had to leave at 4.

I went to the barracks for a quote. He showed me around his apartment. Then Jamie arrived. She looked around, too. We went to the hall to discuss and came up with a price of $320. The resident seemed ok with that.

Jamie and I went to the house to clean. I left around 7. I went home and got the stove grill and took it to Keli. She gave me her vacuum because her husband bought her a new one.

When I got home, I ate supper, and made a salad. I worked on my blog. Chris showed me another hole in one of the pairs of pants I had just mended. I made tea. We watched an episode of WTR. I fell asleep on the couch. Chris turned off the TV and went to bed, forgetting his phone. At some point, I woke up and went to bed.

200 degrees

Sunday

I got up before 8, having slept just ok. Chris said he was feeling better, but he stayed in bed. I took care of stuff in the kitchen. I listened to a podcast on EMP's. I made more breakfast mix.

I finished printing two hymns for church, then substituted one in a similar key. I took a shower, then made and ate breakfast. I got dressed. I took cheese squares and my trombone to church.

We had three songs before the service. The chaplain talked about Nehimiah. He had people come up and read. Then Sophia came up and played with me. We did two hymns. Afterward, people chatted and went home. The cheese squares were gone. I ate a grapefruit, then read e-mail. I listened to interviews. The family game was canceled because none of John and Michele's computers were working.

I got ready for the sauna. It was 190 degrees when I went in. Michelle joined me and we talked as we drank water and sweated. It was 200 degrees when we got out. We were dripping wet and I toweled off. We chatted as we got dressed. Then I went home and took a shower.

My nightgown had holes in it so I went in my sewing room to patch them. Then I noticed a pair of suit pants and lots of socks on my sewing seat. Sigh. The seat of his pants was ripped and I looked for 'suit'able fabric to mend them. What I found were other pairs of pants that he wanted mended. So I went through them, mending as I went, hoping to find a pair that was unfixable to use as patching.

And then it was supper time. He heated up some steak and rice and mushrooms for me. After eating and texting Michelle about a video that got posted, I worked on my blog. I made tea and we watched a double episode of WTR. No wonder it seemed so long. But at least we didn't have to sit through the opening credits twice. Then we made the bed together.

Chris went to bed while I stayed up to read about the history of Israel and Hamas. Then I went to bed.

The oil is changed

Saturday

I got up after 8:30, having lain in bed awake for some time. Chris was back from his early morning game. I took the probiotic and turned on my phone. Jamie was asking if she could come get her money. I said yes, then quickly started to count it out. She came before I finished, and waited. I couldn't find one of the envelops so I didn't have it all. I just paid her for the apartment. After she left, I wrote it down, then found the envelop that was missing.

Then I jotted notes for my blog. I wrote a grocery list to see if we needed to go to Tooele, but Chris said he will be gone next weekend so I need to get enough for two weeks. I took a few things to the swap shop.

When I got back, Chris was taking his shower. However, before he finished, Casey came over to change the oil in my car. While he drained the oil, he changed the air filter. He was going to change the cabin filter too, but that turned out to be quite involved. We put down an old tarp before putting the old oil in the container that the new oil came from. But still, some oil got on the driveway.

After Casey left, we went to Tooele for groceries. We shopped at the usual places. I was able to talk to Melanie and Dale. Then we went back to the base and got more groceries from the commissary. Finally we went home and put them all away.

I made and ate breakfast, then read e-mail. I looked up cooling blankets to see what they were made of. Then at 4, I went to Keli's house. She told me what all she wanted cleaned. Then I cleaned her bathroom, bedroom, kitchen and livingroom. RV's are small, but with so many surfaces to wipe. She paid me $50. I went to the post office on my way home. I picked up a Nuts, com box and some envelopes.

Chris had made bacon so I could make cheese squares. He also threw in a sweet potato. I heated up some steak and ate part of the sweet potato. I looked at the cooling blankets online and decided to buy a cheap one and turn it into a weighted blanket. I jotted notes for my blog. Chris said he wasn't feeling well and he went to bed. Later he asked me for more blankets because he couldn't stop shivering. I also brought him a heating pad.

I made cheese squares, then took the 5 gallon jug to the shoppette to refill. They have a machine that dispenses filtered and remineralized water for 50 cents a gallon. Michelle met me there and she carried the filled jug to my car, then followed me home so she could bring it in my house and set it up with the hand pump.

I gave her an empty milk jug. She washed the soap out of it and took it home to mix up an iron amendment. I took the cheese squares out of the oven and ate the crusts. I met her at the gym and we poured nitrogen and iron on the lawn in the shape of a B. That is supposed to green up the grass overnight. We'll see.

I went home. I checked on Chris. He asked me to turn the heating pad down. I read e-mail. I put the cheese squares in a container to go in the fridge. I listened a podcast on excess adrenaline, and then to some relaxing music.

Chris had suggested that I sleep in the guest room, so I cleared the bed. But then I remembered finding an RF field over the head of the bed, probably from the device behind the wall that transmits our power usage. I performed my nightly routine and slipped into our bed, well over on my side in case he has something communicable.

Working in the garden

Friday

I got up after 8. I washed up and got dressed. I took supplements and brushed my teeth. I worked on copying songs from the hymnal. I took some paper and went to open the chapel at 9 for Math Morning. I settled in the fellowship hall. Casey was the first to show up. He brought Cedrick. Then Sophia came in. As we started on her papers, her family came in. They each had something to work on. We finished Sophia's papers, then worked on multiplication tables until 10am.

They packed up and left. I locked the doors and went home. I parsed out a week's worth of supplements. I watered the plants. I made and ate breakfast. Michelle and Casey came by to look at the oil in my car. They said it needs changing. They left and I went back inside.

I finished breakfast. I poured bleach into the baggie with the gopher head. Then, just in case I got bleach on me, I took off my clothes and plunged them into a bowl of water. I redressed. I looked at weighted blanket videos.

I put on sturdy shoes. I threw a rake in the car and went to the garden. I had to fight my way through tumbleweeds to get to my plot. Jamie had dumped the leaves just over the fence. So I tried to rake them into the garden bed and spread them out. But it was wet and too tough for a leaf rake.

I heard my phone ring in the car. I made my way back to the car to see who called. It was Michelle telling me that she passed Chris on his way home. So I went home to make sure everything was in place. I covered up the gopher head.

Then I took the pitchfork and garden rake and went back to the garden. It was still a lot of work. But I spread the leaves out, sort of, and laid a tarp over them and weighed it down. I forked a bunch of tumbleweed over the fence. The wind blew some of them back in my face. I hate the prickly sticker things.

I went home to greet Chris, and have something to eat and drink. Then I went to the house to get more of my cleaning stuff out of the garage. I forked those tumbleweeds over the fence too, but some of them came back. Underneath the pile of tumbleweeds I found dog poop. So I cleaned that up. I also swept out the garage, or tried to. The wind blew it back in as fast as I swept it out.

I went to the new house we just signed for. I dropped off all my cleaning supplies. Then I went home to offload the garden stuff. I put the cleaning cloths and mop heads in the wash. I hung up my rinsed clothes. I jotted notes for my blog and posted for yesterday. Chris made flank steak and I ate that, plus the rest of the lettuce. I looked up hints for game night and discovered that I will have to play Spire all over again to get the info I need to solve the next puzzle. Grrr!

At 8:30 I went to Michelle's house. Casey put the game on and I gave them the dog nail groomer. I paid Michelle for what they spent on oil and filters. In the game, I finished lowering the water in the pond so I could get through the wooden door. Then I was confronted with the puzzle that needed the clue from Spire, which gets changed any time you reset or load a previous game. So its not something I can look up. I linked back and went to Spire. Michelle helped me look up the answers I had previous gotten for Spire since I had deleted all my clues.

I left around 11, having gotten to the spider chair and needing to set the crystals vibrating. I went home and did my bedtime routine before snuggling in for sleep.

Cashing the money order

Thursday

I woke up early hearing Chris in the shower. But he was gone before Reveille, so I don't know how early it was. I got up around 7. I checked the air purifier filters. I took the probiotic and checked e-mail.

I went cleaning: sorted recycling and trash. I went to bible study at the club. Then I went to the apt and cleaned windows. I went to the post office to get mail and cash the money order. But they didn't have the cash. I went home for lunch, then got a call from Steve that he was buying a money order with cash at the post office. So I ran down there to cash in mine. There was a box of stuff left by the swap shop door. A guy surprised me as I was getting the key. I swear no one was there and then he said 'hi'. I unlocked the swap shop and moved the box inside.

I went home to finish breakfast and The Highwire. Jenni wanted me to look at a stroller she got and see if I could sew the netting, but she did not show up at 2. I spent some time figuring out cleaning hours and such. Then I went to the inspection of the apartment. It passed. I went to the dusty house to clean again. I vacuumed part of the carpet that I shampooed. Yep, still pulling up dust. But it looked really clean. I mopped floors until after 5 and moved some of my cleaning stuff out.

I came home to change shoes. I heated up the last of the tongue for supper. I listened to some presentations. I wanted to go clean the house we signed for yesterday, but it just seemed too late in the day. I was tired and I tried laying down, but that didn't work. I took some stuff to the swap shop.

When I got back, I laid in the recliner and put on a talk on anti-aging. When it was over, I started reading the Bobbsey twins book. I was getting sleepier. Then my phone rang. It was Chris. We chatted a bit, then hung up. I started drinking tea with magnesium in it while I worked on my blog. I watched the last two episodes of Royal Pains on Netflix from the recliner. I was hoping to fall asleep, but no. Then I went to bed.

Another quilter makes the trip to heaven

Wednesday

I got up early and prepared for coffee morning. Chris had bathroom rugs tumbling in the washer. As I did my exercises, Chris came home to get his belt. I told him my urine was almost red and he said to keep an eye on it till tomorrow. I considered taking methylene blue to see if it would come out purple. I finished my exercises, then did rounds of tapping and meditation. No more red. I used a urine test strip and all the colors seemed to be right or close.

I cleaned the bathrooms and kitchen. I vacuumed the carpets. I went to a sign-over at 2. I talked to the inspectors about the current house and whether yardwork is required yet. Then I went to Housing to schedule an inspection for the apartment tomorrow at 3.

I went home to drop off the contract, then to the gym to meet Michelle and work out. We talked about having a going away party for Brittany on Monday. Beverly called to say Jane passed away. She was in charge of a quilt group in Huntsville. She was 95.

I went home to drink a coconut, then to the swap shop with the comforters I had washed. I checked the apartment and found the windows were still dirty. Then I went to the house to clean again. I vacuumed the stairs and the livingroom. Finally I used shampooer on the big carpet. I intend to vacuum again tomorrow. I took the trash can to the curb, but recycling can had trash mixed in, so I left it by the house.

I went to swap shop because Jenni texted that the furniture room key was not there. We looked and looked. Then someone said they'd accidentally taken it home. She was relieved. We chatted and I went home.

I jotted notes for my blog and chatted with Chris. I made tea and added magnesium. We watched two episodes of Walker Texas Ranger. We agreed that the opening sequence for season three was the worst ever.

Afterward, he packed for his trip and went to bed. I stayed up to read, then listened to half an hour of yoga nidra before going to bed. It didn't put me to sleep but it might have shortened the time it took to get to sleep afterward.

Cheese-making

Tuesday

I got up before 7:30. I took vit C, then the probiotic. I read e-mail. I put the gallon of goat milk on the stove to heat slowly. I took the supplements. I stirred occasionally and looked up automatic stirrers. I watched Telegram videos.

It was after 10:30 when the milk was ready to cheese. I strained the curds, then strained the whey. I put some in the freezer. I scraped the bottom for Michelle because she literally asked for it. I washed the implements and some dishes to take the burden off of tomorrow.

It was so close to noon that I just went ahead and made breakfast. I ate and read e-mail. I went to the house to clean. I went through a box of leftover stuff and consigned some of it to junk. I called Michelle and she came right over to help me move stuff to the swap shop.

Then Michelle and I went walking in my neighborhood while she told me stuff she heard recently. After that, we stopped at my house and I gave her goat cheese. Then we went to the gym to tell Brittany how sorry we are that she's leaving. We stayed till after 5. We decided to throw her a going-away party. Actually Michelle is going to do it since she loves parties and I can't seem to finish cleaning the current house.

I came home and ate a grapefruit. Then I went back to clean. It was after 7 till I got home. I threw the left-behind comforter in the wash because it smelled like dog. Well, everything at the house smells like dog.

I heated tongue in the toaster oven. I made and ate a salad, then ate the meat. I worked on my blog. I made tea and put the comforter in the dryer. We watched WTR. Chris got ready for bed. I put the comforter through another cycle and listened to a sleep session in the den.

The never-ending dust

Monday

I got up around 8. I took the probiotic, then checked e-mail. I listened to a presentation on hair as antennae. Fascinating! I collated all the cleaning hours for Dzyne and put them in the established format so I could figure out how much to pay Jamie.

I went to the house and spent 2 and a half hours cleaning, much of it vacuuming. I went over the same 3x3 area, pulling out several cups of dirt and dust each time. Odd.

When I got home, I made and ate breakfast. I talked to Chris. I realized I had missed the eclipse. I listened to an interview on cymatics: soundmadevisible cymascope. Then I went to the library for the next season of WTR, but Chris had already gotten it. I talked to Keli and she showed me her online auction. No one had bid on anything. I went home and came back with some goat cheese for Keli to try.

I went cleaning from 3:30 to 7. I vacuumed the livingroom carpet over and over again, still getting cups of dirt out of it. My arms are going to be sore.

I came home, and told Chris about the never-ending dirt. I made and ate supper, then worked on my blog. I made tea and practiced trombone. I asked Chris to massage my arms. He also put tea tree oil on the itchy spot on my head.

Then we watched two episodes of WTR. Jamie came by with the key to the apartment that she finished cleaning. After the show, Chris went to bed. I stayed up to read and listen to soothing music. But when I went to bed, Chris had just turned out the light.

7.7.7.7

Sunday

I got up after 8. I took the probiotic, then read e-mail for awhile before taking the morning supplements. I read articles on the benefits of hypocapnia, and the dangers of overbreathing.

I pumped out a quart of water from the new (to me) 5 gallon water jug. It took 93 pumps. Michelle sent me pics of water containers on Amazon and I said it was the pump that was the problem. I looked at pumps online. I jotted notes for my blog.

I made and ate breakfast. I got dressed for chapel. I took the cut-up jicama and avocado dip. As I was walking into the chapel, a guy asked if I take requests. I said yes. He wanted the song that ended with Glo-o-o-ria. I told him it was a Christmas song. I made a mental note to see if any other hymn had the same tune.

Inside, I put my food in the fridge. I assembled my trombone and warmed up with scales. The service started with 3 praise songs. I only knew one, sort of. The chaplain preached from Nehemiah. Then Sophia came up with her drum and we played two hymns.

The service ended and the congregation eventually ended up in the fellowship hall for a potluck. We had good conversation around the table. Then one by one, people took the leftovers and went home.

I checked the hymnal for hymns with the same meter 7.7.7.7, but none had the same tune as Angels We have heard on high. I went home, changed clothes, and read. I walked with Michelle around my neighborhood and picked up trash. We saw a dust devil flinging tumbleweed into the sky. It was pretty impressive. Michelle took a video and some pics. I found a dog flag.

Chris texted that the game was about to start. Michelle went home, I came in and sat down for the game with my updated game sheet. I have a new feat but I don't understand it. I took a pic of the dog flag and posted it to see who it belongs to. I pieced puzzles while the other gamers signed on and chatted – for an hour. Then finally we started the game: We went to court to argue on the beast's behalf. Then we questioned someone who was blinded in the fire. Finally we headed to the premises to search for clues.

After the game, I read jokes that Facebook kept showing me. I heated beef tongue while Chris warmed up the TV. We watched two episodes of WTR. I don't remember it being so violent – and those are the good guys! Then Chris went to bed and I stayed up to post to my blog.

She learns to crochet

Saturday

I got up at 8. I took the probiotic, then worked on the visor. I took out the elastic and put in velcro. Seemed like an easier option. I worked on yesterdays blog post. I watered the plants. I changed the water in the carrot and celery forest. I made up enough breakfast mix to last till next Saturday.

Chris gave me a massage. I took a shower and then he took his. I went to Kacie's house and spent an hour cleaning cupboards. I went home to make and eat breakfast. I read e-mail and Telegram messages, then got ready for class.

I arrived just before two. I set up a sewing machine. Isadora came with her father. She brought her dress and a sewing machine. I helped her with the dress between sewing sets of stack-n-whack hexagons.

We quit at 4. I invited her back for Project Night. I went home for a bit, then back to the house to clean. I only intended to clean for 1:30, but it was so deliciously dirty, that I couldn't stop. I finally tore myself away around 6:30.

I went home for supper. Chris had cooked beef tongue. I made a salad and ate it. I took the tongue with me to Project Night. I gave Isadora a taste. She loved it. Her father came. She wanted to learn to crochet. She watched chain-stitching on Youtube, but her hook was small and she was using embroidery floss, so there was no room to insert the double crochets. We pulled it out and found real yarn. I showed her how to DC, several times. She was so thrilled! In between, I worked on stack-n-whack hexagons. Casey built a sonar detector. Finally at 8:30 we packed up and went home.

I posted to my blog and made tea. We watched only one episode of WTR. We dressed the bed with clean sheets. Chris checked e-mail one last time, then went to bed. I stayed up to listen to a sleep hypnosis video. I am not sure how close to sleep I got before I went to bed.

Preparing for sewing class and Game Night.

Friday

I got up after 8. I took the probiotic, got dressed, checked messages on Facebook and e-mail. I took the morning supplements. Then I got ready for Math Morning and headed to the chapel.

I unlocked the doors and turned on the lights. Sophia came in first and sat down with her math book. I wanted to take a pic of her wearing the sun visor, but it was too big. So she took a pic of me wearing it. Then the rest of her family arrived. Casey came in after that, but had to leave early. I worked with Sophia on mean, median and mode.

At 10 we all packed up and went home. I posted to the Facebook pages for Sewing class, and Project Night. I checked messages from various sources. I cleared out Telegram messages. I made and ate breakfast while playing a podcast.

After eating, I worked on the final cleaning bill for the company. Chris got back around 2 from writing his sitrep. We went to Tooele and shopped at the usual places. I also went to Joanns for stabilizer. When we got back to base, we shopped at the commissary, then put the food away.

I read online. I looked for child-size hat pattern. Chris cooked beef tongue. Michelle came over to talk to Chris about an issue she saw. She also talked about providing activities to the firehouse staff to do while they wait for a call. I gave her goat cheese when she left.

I added extra rows of stitching to the visor brim. It didn't add as much stiffness as I had hoped. I ate traced one of Chris' hat brims to make a better pattern. It was smaller. I looked at more patterns online, then looked for Myst IV clues and took pics of them without reading them.

I went to Michelle's house. We chatted. I read some jokes that I got on the internet. I played the game: I tried to solve the dream puzzle, which will give me a clue to unlocking a door somewhere. But I gave up. There are only 720 possible solutions to the door puzzle and that seemed easier. With a little help, I was able to shut off the water to the pool in back of the old memory chamber. I used the harvester to push more water out. I found a tunnel, but there was a door at the end that I could not open. There was no handle, nor key hole. It had gear teeth around it and there was a large gear next to it, but no way to move the large gear.

It was after 11 when I shut it down. But the conversation continued until after 11:30. I think I was home by midnight. I got ready for bed and hit the hay.

Giving away food

Thursday

I woke up ruminating about my day. When I remembered the expensive probiotic, I got up (about 7:20). I took it. I swabbed my ears with hydrogen peroxide and the right one fizzed. I rinsed my sinuses. I sprayed the sprouting lids with hydrogen peroxide. When they stopped fizzing, I sprayed them again.

The black pot was sitting in the sink with burned milk on the bottom. I had tried everything yesterday to soak it off and to scratch it off to no avail. So today I got out a plastic razor blade. And by golly it worked, quickly and easily! I wished I'd thought of it yesterday before I scratched it with steel wool.

Chris came home to change clothes. Some ceremony requires (or allows) him and the colonel and CSM to drive a bulldozer. I asked if I could, but he said no. He left.

I rubbed coconut oil on my left elbow. It is a really dry spot that cream doesn't address. I never had such a dry scaly spot anywhere before. My right elbow is fine. I called Michelle for help with the bottles of alcohol. We agreed to meet at 10. I worked on this Saturday's sewing project, which is a sun visor. I went to the house at 10 to meet Michelle. I ran hot water in the tub and added ammonia, then shut the door. Michelle arrived. She found more bottles in the cupboard above the stove. Some of the bottles were flavorings, not actual alcohol. She wanted those. And she took some alcohol for cooking. Then she looked through the food and took things I thought Saronna would like to have. But, she should get something for being helpful.

She carried stuff out to her car. Then she followed me home. She carried the box of bottles into my house since it was too heavy for me. She also carried the five gallon water jug with pump dispenser. She said I could refill it at the gas station and she would help me if it gets too heavy.

After she left, I parsed supplements for a week. I made breakfast and ate it while watching The Highwire. In the middle of breakfast, Steve called to say he could pick up the clothing. So I put shoes on and met him at Kacie's house. There were three zippered bags of clothing in the living room. It smelled like dog so I figured the clothing probably did as well. I gave him the bags to take to town. We talked for some time. He gave me old jeans for future sewing projects.

I went home to finish breakfast and The Highwire. Then I worked on the visor, almost finishing it, trying to get it to fit. Then at 3 I went back to Kacie's house to clean, expecting Saronna at any time. At 3:30, Jamie came over. She came for a key, but went through the leftover stuff.

Then I got a call from a man who wanted a quote right away because he had to head out for work. So we got in her truck and went over there. It was pretty dirty and the toilets were stained. But there was no fridge or stove to clean. We talked about things he could leave for the swap shop. Then we conversed outside and came up with a quote of $640. He accepted and tried to call Housing for an appointment next week. They did not answer and I told him any time or day was fine except Wednesday morning.

We went back to Kacie's house and Saronna was there. I showed her what to look through and she did, taking most of the food, but not so much of the other stuff. After she left, Jamie went to the apartment. I cleaned behind the stove for half an hour, then went to the apartment to get my stepladder. I saw Jamie in the parking lot. We talked for a bit, then went up to the apartment.

I finished cleaning the kitchen while she worked on the bathroom. The man called to say he had an appointment to sign over the house on Wednesday at 11. I told him I couldn't make it. He said he'd try again on Monday. But Jamie called Housing, even though it was after 5 and they answered. She changed it to 2 on Wednesday. I called him back to tell him.

She left to pick up cleaning stuff. I finished the kitchen and carried supplies to my car. Jamie returned. We looked in the storage unit associated with the apartment and found three empty boxes. I put them in my car while she carried my vacuum and the Spinwave to my car.

I went back to Kacie's house to unload. I cleaned behind the fridge and scrubbed the front of it. I could not reach the cabinets above it. I vacuumed the living room rug, emptying the cup three times! It smelled better. I scattered baking soda over all of it, and put some in the cat room as well. I cleaned cupboards in the kitchen, then realized I was really tired. So I went home.

Chris was already home. I prepared a salad while he talked to me. We had a nice discussion of this and that, and I was sorry I was too tired to really enjoy it. We talked as I ate. I was going to photograph him in the visor for my sewing class announcement, but it didn't look right on him. We decided to do it tomorrow. It was after 9 when he left so I could write to my blog.

I posted for Math Morning, then made tea. It was 10pm, so we didn't watch anything. I sat in the recliner and read a book till after 11, then I went to bed.

Turning over the company house and apartment

Wednesday

I got up late, not having slept well. I prepared for coffee morning with exercises and coffee. I meditated and tapped. I cleaned the bathroom and kitchen. I washed dishes. There were a lot because of the cheese-making process.

Kacie contacted me, tired of cleaning and ready to move. I ran over there and looked around. They told me all the things they cleaned. I quoted them $250. She went to the post office to get a money order. I ran home for a contract while her husband called the inspection team. I came back and met the inspectors. They verified the appliances, then we signed the papers. I took some stuff for the swap shop.

I went home to finish my cleaning. I mopped and vacuumed. Then I went to the company apartment for inspection. I told them what was wrong. They verified the numbers on the appliances and furniture. Papers were signed. Then we all went to the company house. I unlocked the door. The inspectors inspected. I told them what needed fixing. Pictures were taken and papers were signed. No more company associated with the house.

I called Michelle and we agreed to meet at 4. I went home to pick and print out some hymns in large print for Sunday. I went to the gym and we worked out. I took some food to Saronna. Her arm was in a sling because her shoulder had started hurting. So she won't be playing on Sunday.

I took some stuff to the swap shop. Jenni and Commisary Kim were there. I got some old books: Hardy Boys and Bobbsey Twins, printed the year I was born. I dropped off the cat carriers and scale. I also put up a Math Morning poster on the bulletin board.

I went to Kacie's house. They were gone. I looked through all the stuff left in the kitchen. I emptied the trash. I picked out some things to bring home. There were bottles of alcohol and I didn't know what to do with them. I turned off all the lights, closed the windows, locked up and came home.

I put away dried dishes. I opened a young coconut and drank the water. Chris came home from Mass. He said to bring the alcohol home and he would decide what to keep. But I told him the box was too heavy for me to lift. Must be a dozen bottles in there.

He made his supper while I jotted notes for my blog. I posted for yesterday. I made tea and we watched two episodes of Walker Texas Ranger. Then Chris got ready for bed and I took the shower I forgot to take earlier. I wondered if it would help me sleep. I laid in the recliner and put on a sleep story. I think I did fall asleep when it ended. Later I woke up and went to bed and slept until Chris got out of the shower.

Getting rid of the bike and grill

Tuesday

I got up before 8, my ears ringing loudly. I took the probiotic and used the new meter to check for electrical, magnetic, and RF fields. Even the airtube headphones were putting out a field.

I read e-mail and listened to a discussion. I went to the company house to make sure everything was in the right place and their stuff was gone. Some of it wasn't. Then I went to the library to make copies of music for the next band night. I moved the vacuum from the company house to the new apartment. I removed some left behind food and baggies, intending to give them to Saronna. I took stuff to the swap shop. I went home.

Michelle wanted to go walking so I met her at the gym. We walked the track for half an hour. Then we went to her house and juiced the other half cabbage. We drank more than a cup each. She gave me a gallon of goat milk and I gave her $10 plus a promise of cheese.

I went home to make and eat breakfast. I poured the four quarts of milk into the large black pot and got it simmering. I read e-mail as I ate. When the milk was hot enough, I poured in the vinegar to make cheese.

Someone messaged me wanting to go to the swap shop. So I ran down there and opened it and went home again. I skimmed the curds from the whey and filled two jars. I also poured the whey in bottles to freeze. Then she messaged wanting to know if there was a file cabinet in the furniture room (which wasn't open). Also, the company said they didn't want the second grill. So I went to the house to take a pic of the grill. Then I went by the swap shop to open the furniture room and take a pic of the file cabinet. Then I went home to message the pic of the cabinet to the lady and to post the pic of the grill on the community pages. The lady went and picked up the cabinet.

I went to the new apartment to clean in the kitchen for 2 hours. When I got home, there were messages about the grill. I saw Kim's first so I told her to go get it. Then I saw others and was not sure what order they were in because they were on different pages.

So then I had to get rid of the bike in the shed. I wasn't sure what condition it was in and if I could ride it home (since it would not fit in my car). So I called Michelle who has an SUV. She said Casey would meet me over there. So I went back to the company house to check out the bike. There was a plastic strip coming out of the front tire. Casey arrived and told me it was shot. So he took it over to the dumpster and left it in front. I hope someone will see it and take it. Then I saw Kim and her husband checking out the grill. We spoke for a few minutes, then I went home.

I worked on my blog and made tea. We watched two episodes of WTR. One of the episodes had the Spiderman actor in it. Chris got ready for bed. I looked for a sleep story, this time to play low but without headphones. I put it on low, but maybe it was too low because I didn't fall asleep and was straining to hear it. After it ended, I went to bed and had more trouble sleeping.

Taking my new appliance for a spin

Monday

I got up after 8, having slept well after I finally got to sleep. The ringing in my ears was louder than usual, however. Could it be from the headphones? I took the probiotic, brushed my teeth, read e-mail for awhile, then took the regular morning supplements.

At 10 I went to the company apartment to meet Jamie. But she wasn't there yet. So I washed the windows and blinds, then used the new Spinwave on the kitchen floor. It seemed to do a good job, but was it any better than mopping? She finally showed up.

We talked for a bit and we went to the assigned storage unit to see what was in it. There was old barracks furniture, trash, and a thing for a truck. She took a pic and sent it to her husband to see if he could identify it. But no. We went back to the apartment. She went out for a smoke. I finished the kitchen floor and tried it on the bathroom floor. I took pics before and after. I left it for her and headed out. I passed her and Carey and stopped to chat. Then I went to the company house to mop the livingroom floor. I did part of the kitchen floor too.

Then I went home for breakfast. Chris was not home, but had been. I made and ate breakfast. Michelle invited me over for cabbage juice. I had already eaten, but what the heck. I loaded a vacuum in my car, plus a cleaning contract. I went to her house. She juiced half a purple cabbage. It was just over 1 cup. She split it three ways and her mom joined us in drinking it. We had a nice chat until quarter of three.

I went to the new apartment, meeting Jamie in the parking lot. The inspectors were already there, waiting for the occupant. When he showed up, we went inside. We looked around. The inspectors noted the furniture and appliance numbers. I filled out the contract. He gave the money to Jamie and she counted it. Then I put it in an envelope with one key. Everybody signed and he left. Jamie and I went to the company apartment to get all our cleaning stuff and move it upstairs to the new apartment. The inspectors were gone.

I put the Spinwave in my car. I went to the library to give them the green vacuum. We chatted about band. Then I went home. I covered a router-sized box with RF reflective fabric. It cut down on the radiation. II went to the company house to use the Spinwave on the kitchen floor. It did a decent job, but it definitely does not pick up any bits of dirt or hair. I may have to vacuum again. I tried it in the livingroom too. It left swirly marks. Hopefully they are gone after it dries thoroughly.

I went home for supper. I jotted notes for my blog. I printed out some pages for band. But only the first page printed properly. The next ones were lines here and there. But scanning showed a perfect image. Why didn't it print that way? I ate some rice and beef for supper, then headed to the chapel.

Saronna and I showed up at the same time. Keli was already there. We played from the Broadway tunes book. It was nice and will be even nicer when we get copies made. Then we all went home. I made tea and jotted notes for my blog. I prepared some blueberries for eating in front of the TV. I put the box over the router. We watched two episodes of WTR. I looked up some characters on IMDB. Chris went to bed. I stayed up to choose a bedtime story. I listened for awhile, thinking how uncomfortable the recliner was, then went to bed.

Easter

Sunday

I got up around 8. I took the probiotic. I got out my Easter dress and ironed it. I tried to get a spot out, but it wouldn't go away. I got out the matching hat and blew off any dust. I read some e-mail, then took the morning supplements.

Chris gave me a massage. I took a shower and then he took his. I watered all the plants. We talked about what new feat I should choose for my character. I made and ate breakfast. I got dressed for church.

I took my trombone, cheese squares, and a box of baking soda to the chapel. I talked to the chaplain, then put the box in the janitor's closet because it smelled so badly. The faucet was dripping but I could not turn it off.

The colonel came with his wife. Jenni was handing out hats. I realized my music was at home, so I ran home to get it. I passed Michelle on her way in. When I got back, I gave some to Keli and sat the rest on the music stand. Then I sat with Chris and the chaplain started the service with three praise songs.

He gave a long Easter message. Then he invited us to play: Saronna, Sophia, Keli and me. We played three hymns, almost too much for my lips. Then he ended the service. Michelle announced snacks in the back. She had brought the meringue cookies and a loaf of sweet bread. Jenni had brought chocolate oatmeal cookies. I thanked the ladies for playing. I tried some of the meringue cookies. Most people left. We hat ladies had our picture taken. Then Jenni said she had a plant for me. She went out to get it and I went to my purse to get the shiny bathbombs I had bought. I gave her one and she gave me a lily! I gave one to the chaplain for his wife. I gave one to Saronna and to Michelle.

Chris went straight home, but I stopped at the swap shop to open it as requested. But no one was there, so I left it unlocked and went home. I had a Facebook message asking about it and I told her it was unlocked. I gave Chris the last bath bomb for the colonel's wife. I changed my clothes. I cut up a plastic lid to make an 'arm' to replace a broken one in my trombone case. It really should have been wood, but I didn't feel like getting out wood cutting tools.

Chris roasted cauliflower in the oven for supper. We had leftover beef as well. I read e-mail for quite some time. I put on some sleepy music to audition for tonight. I worked on my blog. I posted to Facebook for band tomorrow night. I made tea and we watched two episodes of WTR. Later Chris went to bed, and I stayed up to find some soothing music to listen to. I played a podcast in the background. It didn't put me to sleep so when the podcast ended, I went to bed.
