The confusion over quotes

Tuesday

I got up while Chris was taking a shower. I went back to bed until he left. I got ready for the day, rinsed sprouts, etc. I checked e-mail. I watered the outdoor plants. I went cleaning at Diane's house at 10:15, not sure why I was late. I worked on the fridge and finished the cupboards. Jamie came to load up stuff in the garage for the swap shop. At 12:15, I went home for breakfast. Chris was there for a brief time, then went back to work.

At 1:40 I sat outside and read a book barefoot. Then at 2, I went to Saronna's house to play. But she wasn't home. So I put away my trombone and rearranged stuff in the hallway. I got a box from the post office for Diane's stuff. I packed it with her utensils and packing puff-its.

I went to the house to spray goo gone on a spot on the fridge. Then I went to the colonel's house for inspection. Two people arrived, but not the person with the paperwork. So we waited... Colly made a phone call and reminded him. But when he arrived, we had a discussion about the 4pm person before signing the pages. We ended up going over there to check that out. That person had a yard full of stuff and wanted to sign his house over to us. We cleared up the confusion and quoted him $800. His shed was locked and someone went for bolt cutters to open it. The head of Housing said we should reconvene at 3 tomorrow to finish the signing.

So the rest of us went to the dorm room for that inspection. It went well, then we found out that the locked shed was full of mice and trash and droppings. I texted Jamie and she said she would handle it. Yikes. I called Chris and he said not to clean it for any price.

Then I went to Diane's house to clean some more. I couldn't find my dust pan so I called Jamie and she came over. She had it upstairs. Then she said we should go through the 4pm's dumpster. So she drove us over there and we found a lot of stuff for the swap shop. She found lots of stuff for her too. I got a book of music. We had a nice chat with him.

Finally we went to the swap shop to drop off the stuff. The shop was full of stuff other people must have dropped off earlier today. Yikes! Jamie found a few things to take home. Then she followed me home to drop off the vacuum I found at 4pm's house. It needs cleaning. We agreed that there are perks to being the cleaners.

She left and I ate leftovers for supper, fielding texts from the ladies about crockpots. Michelle needs to borrow 7 of them. I worked on my blog. I made tea and played tunes on my trombone. We sat down to watched SG1. I dozed off during the second episode. Chris went to bed. I finally roused myself long enough to do a few stretches and turn in.

Memorial Day party

Monday

We got up before 8. I took supplements, drank hydrogen water, then brushed and swished. I rinsed the sprouts and changed water in the rootings. In the process of making milk for the kefir grains, I dropped the jar on the kitchen floor. It shattered, leaving grains and milk and glass everywhere. I picked up the grains and washed them off, then put them in a new jar and threw in some coconut milk to hold them over. I made up a cup of powdered goat milk, then poured it in. I also gave it a cube of frozen whey. Then I turned my attention to the floor.

After the mess was cleaned up, I headed out. But before I could drive away, I noticed my outdoor plants needed watering. So I did, at which time I saw a new very large gopher mound by the hose bib. I put the hose in and turned on the water. A soggy gopher crawled out and I 'rocked' it to its eternal rest.

I went to Diane's house about 9:35. I cleaned the stove. I put the burner bowls in ammonia water to soak. Jamie came to carry remaining food out of the kitchen. Michelle came to claim a rug and gather a box of rocks. I left about 11:45. I went home to find Chris had made fried rice with bits of red peppers.

We took the rice and walked to Erin's house. I expected cars and people, but it was quiet. We chatted with Revonna who was packing her car across the street. Then we went inside. There were a few people there but a lot more came later. And most of them had young kids. Jamie came with meatballs and folding tables. Chris went home for two camping chairs. The kids played inside at first, then went outside to jump on the full size trampoline. Near the end, I jumped too. She encouraged me to do flips but I decided the chance of a bad landing wasn't worth it.

The long countertop in the kitchen was laden with food, mostly side dishes. Someone brought a grill and the men grilled burgers and hotdogs. People ate as they wished and stood around talking and watching the kids. One man got in a big ice bath and the kids tried to get in, but couldn't take the cold.

We were wrapping up the conversation in order to leave, when Chris got his second wind and began telling stories. So we didn't leave until 4. When we got home, I sat to rest and check e-mail. Then I went to open the swap shop for Deb, drop off the sheet at the company house, hand Michelle $100 for buying Saronna a family pool pass, and to Diane's house to wrap her utensils and place them in a box to mail. I stayed to clean cupboards. I also watered her strawberries, hoping they will come back from last year.

After an hour, at 6:30 I came home, stopping to lock the swap shop. I worked on my blog post. I texted Tonja to see if she wanted any of the food left behind and she did. So I met her at Diane's house and she brought an insulated bag and got some food. She looked at stuff designated for the swap shop and said she could help me do it tomorrow or Wednesday. When I got home, I made tea and we watched two episodes of SG1. Chris went to bed and I stayed up to read more e-mail and listen to BWE music.

Pot luck picnic

Sunday We got up after 8. I took supplements, then brushed and swished. I rinsed the the various sprouts. I got a text that Erin wanted to go to the swap shop. So I got dressed. I watered outside until time to go.

I went to the swap shop and unlocked it. Her whole family went in. I looked around for a bit, then left them with instructions to turn off the lights. I went home and finished annoying the gophers. I put the formerly stained sheet in the washing machine and found some other things to throw in with it. I installed a rack for hanging brooms and such. I read some e-mail, then took the laundry out. Everything was clean except for the sheet. It had dust or something. So I put it back in the washer with a dingy cloth and some bleach.

I filled an egg carton with soil and wet it down. I found places for all the stuff I got from Diane. Then Chris asked for a haircut, so we went outside and I cut his hair. I wasn't satisfied with it, but he was. Then I made and ate breakfast, reading e-mail. I got dressed for church.

Saronna, Jenni and Michelle all texted me that they weren't coming. I reminded Jenni that it was potluck day. Anyway, in case no one else came, I stuffed dates with almonds and cashews as a dessert. Chris had made a potato and bacon casserole yesterday and he re-heated it today.

I threw my trombone and the dates in my car. I went to the swap shop to lock it, then on to church. I opened the chapel door for the traveling pastor. We went in and set up. Chris arrived with the casserole. At 1:02 we started the service with hymns. Jenni and her husband came in during the first hymn. So it was just the 4 of us. After a sermon from the book of John, I played another hymn at the end.

Then we sat the food on the little coffee table in the narthex and had a sort of picnic. Jenni had brought cut up fruit. We did not have drinks. We chatted about this and that and shared about Bryan losing his

boys to their biological father. Please pray for them.

Then the pastor followed me to the swap shop. He looked around for a bit and found a book. Jenni showed up and found some stuff. Then she wanted to go to Diane's house to look around. So I met her there and let her look through the kitchen. She got four bags of food.

We chatted a bit and went our separate ways, I went home to finish a video and check e-mail. I planted peas, beans and corn in an egg container. Later I went to the garden to plant some microgreens and cover the pipe that is leaking so it won't rust. I went home and checked my phone. No texts. I read Telegram messages. I emptied the dryer and folded the sheet. I put the contents back in my purses. I started a batch of LAB by rinsing rice and setting the water aside.

I made tea and practiced until Chris was ready. We watched two episodes of SG1. Then he went to bed. I stayed up to listen to some relaxing music, then I went to bed as well.

Smarter than your average garage door

Saturday

I got up around 8. I took supplements and puttered in the kitchen. I got dressed and went to the company house to throw the sheets in the washer. Then I went to Diane's house to lock it. While I was there, I looked around at all the stuff she left behind. One drawer was full of utensils. There was ammo in the garage. I took some food from the cabinet and the fridge, locked the house and went home.

I put the food away. I texted Diane to see if she meant to take the utensils and ammo. She said the ammo was for Jamie's husband and to take a pic of the utensils. I watered some plants, and covered the tower garden with netting to stop the grazing birds.

I went back to the company house to throw the towels in the wash. I went to Diane's house to take a pic of the utensils. I sent it and she asked me to mail them to her. I looked through more cabinet and found a few other food items. Then I left the house, pulling the door shut and locking myself out.

I texted Diane, asking for the code. She gave it, but said it didn't work. And it didn't. I walked around back but everything was locked. I called Jamie, then remembered that the garage door opener was at my house. I called Chris to bring it. Jamie came over and we talked until Chris showed up. The opener was dead, but Jamie opened hers and traded out the batteries. Chris went home just as the garage door opened. She and I were so happy!!! She took the ammo to her truck. We went through the house and identified things we might want. Then she took the opener home, I locked the door, and drove home. Chris gave me a coconut oil massage, then I took a shower. I went to the company house to throw the towels in the dryer.

I was home making breakfast when Michelle stopped by with two posters she'd made. We talked for a bit as I finished my breakfast. She also talked to Chris about the water aerobics class she is doing tonight. After she left, I ate breakfast in front my laptop and watched a video of someone playing DIG, the game that stumped me last night.

I rearranged the hoses and wound the longest one on the hose caddy. I went to the company house to take the towels out. I spent half an hour cleaning, then left the bathmats under some fans and went home to get the stains out of one of the sheets. I texted with Revonna who is in the process of moving.

I went to the garden to fix the soaker hose and pull weeds. Then I came home to have supper, which Chris made: rice, ground beef, and cilantro. After supper, I went back to the company house to clean the floors and put the bathmats down. They still weren't dry.

When I got home, I worked on my blog post, then made tea. We watched two episodes of SG1. I folded laundry then helped Chris dress the bed with clean sheets. He went to bed while I stayed up longer to listen to soothing music.

** Hmmm, fermented synthetic biology products. Like flavoring for that plant-based meat product. No thanks. **

My first day in the pool

Friday

I got up around 8. I puttered around in the kitchen. I made some orders to take advantage of holiday prices. I watered the plants, and rinsed the various sprouts. I meant to do my sewing, but caught up on e-mail instead.

Chris went to the office. I made and ate breakfast, and added to the grocery list. When he came home, we went to Tooele. We shopped at Luckey's, Melanie's, Cal Ranch, and Macey's, then went back to base. We stopped at the commissary. We took the groceries home and unpacked them.

Michele texted from the pool. I got dressed in my bathing suit and went over there. I talked to Mickie at the front desk. When I got to the pool, there were just a few people. We swam around and talked. Then we went to the front desk to see if Saronna's family had a pool pass cause we want to buy them one. Mickie wasn't certain.

The pool was empty when we left. I went home. Chris had baked cauliflower steaks. I ate supper, and read more e-mail. I answered CSM's texts about volunteers and hours as best I could. I worked on my blog and then went to game night with snacks.

Michelle loved the fruit/nut balls. I sat on the couch and played the game. I had to start at the beginning because Casey had it running on another computer. But I got back to where I was and went further. Michelle helped by looking up hints on the web. When 11 rolled around, I filled the container with water and then bid them goodbye. Casey put it in my car and I went home, passing the company house to see if they were there. Nope.

When I got home, Chris still had the light on in the bedroom. Probably reading. He turned it off before I had finished my pre-bed schedule. Finally I hit the hay.

All hail the Splash into Summer party

Thursday

I got up before 8. I did the usual, then started peeling the eggs Chris boiled. They peeled quite well. But it wasn't enough to fill a gallon jar, so I boiled some more. The small ones were ok but the large ones weren't done. So I got out the rice cooker and put more eggs in the steamer tray. I cooked them for 20 minutes, but it wasn't enough, so I put them back on for another 10 minutes.

While waiting, I looked up egg recipes. I worked on my blog post for yesterday. I searched previous posts for clues to how much time I spent cleaning the colonel's house. I came up with 7.5 and texted Chris. I made a pickling brine and covered the eggs. I also threw in some red beet slices.

I made breakfast and ate it outside lying in the sun. I came in and watched The Highwire. I wrote out a cleaning contract for Diane's house. At 1:45 I drove over there. I was just ahead of the inspectors. I chatted with Diane and her husband. Then we all signed the contract. Her husband gave me the keys, garage opener and the money, which I put in an envelop. I assured them that they could leave anything behind and we would take care of it.

I went home via the Housing office. I handed in one of Diane's keys. I also made appointments for inspections for the colonel's house and the apartment. When I got home, I finished watched The Highwire. I finalized an Azure Standard order. I listened to something as I eliminated open windows on my browser.

Suddenly it was after 4. I was missing the Splash into Summer pool party. I texted Michelle, but she didn't answer. I completed something on my to-do list, then headed to the pool. When I got there, everyone was leaving. There was thunder and lightning. I found Chris and talked to him, then the colonel showed up. And suddenly the rain poured down, bringing hail with it. We stood under a tent, talking about him getting the last few things out. Then we both made a quick b-line for our vehicles. By the time I got to mine, I was completely soaked.

When I got home, I took off my wet clothes and put on my nightgown. I read e-mail and tied up a few loose ends. Chris came home with pizza. I wasn't hungry. I listened some more interviews.

Then I wrote down what happened today. I made tea and we watched two episodes of SG1. Chris went to bed afterwards and I stayed up a little later.

Back in the Wednesday routine, plus a new timer

Wednesday

I got up before 7:30, after having had a terrible time getting to sleep. Was it the microgreems I ate? I turned off the heat and opened some windows. I prepared for coffee morning with exercises and such. I used the teal balloon to remove plastic flakes from the coffee grounds. It worked ok after multiple rounds.

Afterward, I cleaned the bathrooms and kitchen. I was listening to an interview on my laptop. I paused it to run the vacuum, then Chris came home and plugged in the router. I was unable to get the interview back after that. He brought me a package from the post office. I laid out in the sun for a while, then came in to see him getting ready to go back to work.

I got dressed and checked e-mail. I got a copy of the church's monthly report. I realized I hadn't sent a check to the church lately. I read their past reports and it sounded like they are closing the church and selling off the property. I wrote a check for May and June and readied it for the mail.

I jotted notes for my blog. Revonna e-mailed me that she left some eggs on the front porch. I brrought them in. I stopped at the post office to mail the check, then went to the colonel's house to get a yellow stain out of his sink and take down hooks and stuff from the walls. Sadly, the cleaner seemed to make it worse. I called Michelle to help clean out the shed because my car wouldn't hold the bigger stuff. We loaded her car and then put a few last things in mine.

We walked with Diane and Jenni, carrying Diane's two new puppies. They are miniature dachshunds and so cute! Then Michelle and I went to self-help to return the colonel's yard tools. Everything else went to the swap shop.

We worked out at the gym, doing the usual routine. I came home to get a key, then went to an apartment to see how Jamie did. It was pretty good, but I re-cleaned a few things and went home.

I went to the garden to scatter coffee grounds and plant the microgreens. I asked the guy at the next garden if he could unscrew my timer for me. I had no idea how long a process I started. When he couldn't get it off, he got a friend with a pliers. They got it off and suggested I get another one plus a pressure reducer from the shed. So I did. I installed it myself, but it leaked. So his friend worked on it and ended up replacing the hose end twice. I got cold standing there because it got very windy as the sun started to set. It was 8pm by the time he finished. I did not stay to plant the microgreens. I just thanked him and left.

When I got home, I talked to Chris, then worked on my blog while Chris hardboiled the eggs for me. I made tea and we watched SG1 (Teal'c has hair now?) . Chris went to bed while I made up supplements for the week. Then I read some e-mail while Michelle texted me and went to bed.

** Notice how infants are being given vaccine doses equal to or greater then the doses for adults. What sense does that make? **

Pie Day

Tuesday

I got up before 7:30, having slept pretty well. After the usual ablutions, I read outside barefoot in the morning sun.

I went to the post office with the house documents. I mailed them with the UPS label and stayed to talk to the clerk. She has land and is willing to let me have chickens there. Not sure how that could work, but worth considering.

I went to the ACS building. I had to walk past the open double doors where a large meeting was going on. I tiptoed past as quickly as I could. I went into the library and returned a DVD and checked out the next season. Chris saw me from the meeting and came in to say hello.

I went cleaning at the colonel's house, 20 minutes late. I finished the kitchen, and whatever else I saw nearby. I went home for lunch. Then at 2, went to Saronna's house. We talked and played for an hour, then I went home.

I changed my shoes, then went to gym to walk with the ladies. It was a little stormy out. I gave some goat cheese to Michelle to pay for the goat milk. After walking, Jenni followed me home to pick up a pie.

I made and ate a salad, then went to the gym for the community meeting on the bleachers. Chris joined me. It was short, and then we moved it to the foyer so the volleyball players could play their regular scheduled games.

The meeting continued near the entrance, but with reduced attendance. Chris went home. I stayed a little longer, then Tonja followed me home to get her pie. I ate a grapefruit and worked on my blog. Then I heated the tea and we watched two episodes of SG1 season 8.

Chris went to bed and so did I, hoping to fall asleep early. But that didn't happen.v

Djimbe practice

Monday

I got up before 8. After the usual beginning, I read outside in the sun with my bare feet on the grass. When I came in, I picked out spent seed pods from a recent batch of sprouts. They seem to be rotting the sprouts.

I went cleaning at the colonel's house at 10. I did almost all the cupboards in the kitchen. I went home for breakfast. Jamie came by to get a key for an empty apartment to clean. Chris was home for lunch. I made and ate breakfast. Chris went back to work. I heated the goat milk and made cheese. I also made a batch of seed crackers.

I went to the school to walk with the ladies. Only Michelle showed up. I signed the pic she made for Diane. She and I walked around the streets where there was some shade. Then we stood by our cars and talked.

I went to pick up Sophia and her djimbe. We went to my house. I cued up music from Youtube and we practiced drumming rhythms. We took a break to clean, putting particular attention on the silly putty spot from last week. Then we went back to the music for a few more rhythms. I explained that we are now done with tutoring. I took her home at 6 and gave her mother a blueberry pie left from the colonel's house. I stayed to talk to Saronna and Randy about watering the apple tree with a hose from Cecelia's house.

When I got back, I talked to Chris. I ate some vegetables, not bothering to make them into a salad. Then I ate some fruit. I listened to a podcast on the death of Dr. Buttar. Then I worked on my blog and heated tea. We watched the last two episodes of SG1 season 7. That last episode was twice as long as usual, so it was late and we both went to bed.

Getting the big plants outside

Sunday

I got up before 8. I brushed and swished, etc. I checked on the microgreens and they were pushing the weighted container off! So I uncovered them and put them in the sun with a foil tray behind to reflect the light.

I read e-mail for a bit, then made dried fruit and nut balls. But what a sticky mess! It stuck more to my hands than to itself. I left out the honey because they were too sweet already. I rolled each one in coconut. But later decided they needed cinnamon. Cleanup was a chore, too.

I made and ate breakfast, then got dressed for church. I took some balls and my trombone. I was the first to get to the chapel, although Diane and her husband were right behind me. Apparently the chapel assistant is TDY. So we sat and talked until the pastor came from Tooele. He joined in the conversation. Then Jenni and Rick came with Michelle. After awhile, he started on his sermon. When he finished, I played a few hymns suggested by the congregants. Then he invited Diane and Singh up for a hands-on prayer for their new life in Virginia. We had snacks, and everyone went home.

I changed clothes, and Chris helped me dump out the sweet potato plant. I envisioned really big potatoes because it has been growing in the bag for two years. But they were disappointingly small. I saved the leaves for salad and put the stems in water to root. Then we dumped out the other pot, which should have had white potatoes, but no. They were gone and just three pepper plants remained. So I planted them in a box in the back yard. I had to water it really well because the dirt was so dry. Having the hose out, I watered other outdoor areas and some gopher holes, too.

Chris moved the tower garden outside. I went to the garden to plant the remains of the sweet potato roots. I discovered the water timer was out of power. So I went home for new batteries. But when I installed them and turned the water on, it sprayed out from the top and bottom of the timer! Some water went to the drip lines, but not all the way to the end.

When I got home, I used the sweet potato leaves to make a salad with radishes and cucumber. I also had leftover fish for supper. Stirling came over to get the ramp. I looked up garden stuff, then cut the onion scapes and froze them.

I watched a video about the benefits of drinking carbonated water. Co2 is good for you! Then I worked on my blog and made tea. We watched two episodes of SG1. Chris went to bed and I stayed up to read a little more e-mail.

Cleaning AND sewing. Sigh.

Saturday

We got up around 8. I rinsed the sprouts, took Bach Flower Essence drops, and got dressed. I went to the company house to start the laundry. I went home and read e-mail. I went back 90 minutes later to move the sheets to the dryer and put the towels in the washer. I went home and asked Chris for a massage and he agreed. Afterward, I took a shower and got dressed while Chris mowed the yard. I met Jamie at Diane's house. We looked around the kitchens and bathroom and agreed on a price for cleaning. Then we moved all her swap shop stuff to the front yard for Jamie to collect.

I went home for breakfast, then to the swap shop to let Jamie in with Diane's stuff. We chatted a bit, then I went to the company house to move the towels to the dryer. Afterward, I ran home to get my sewing stuff. Chris followed me in order to carry the machines to the fellowship hall.

Tonja followed us in. We set up for our own projects and got started. Then Stirling and his wife arrived with pants to hem. But we got to talking. Stirling went home to get the flatbed of his machine and brought us alkaline water. His wife marked his pants with a hem line. I cut strips for a stack-n-whack. Tonja worked on placemats. But mostly we talked.

At 5, I called time. We packed up and moved the stuff to our cars. But they stayed to talk and I listened. Then I went to the company house to dress the beds and hang the towels. There was no time to clean.

Finally I went home about 6, to find Michelle was there talking to Chris about exactly what I was going to tell him. So I just listened again. Finally she showed me how the pink stuff works on the toilets. It did a nice job considering we didn't let it sit very long. She also brought me half a gallon of goat milk.

After she left, I read e-mail while Chris cooked mushrooms, quinoa, and fish for me. When I realized it was after 8, I worked on my blog, then made tea. We watched episodes of SG1, then dressed the bed with clean sheets. Chris went to bed right away but I stayed up a little longer.

Affidavits

Friday

I got up just before 8, having slept through the night. I did the usual daily morning stuff, then read e-mail until 10. I had planned to go cleaning at the colonel's house. But then I got caught up in trying to create and print an affidavit for a friend who lost his wife.

I was using an online form creator, but it wanted me to create an account and purchase a plan in order to print it out. So I took pics of the screen and typed it up myself. All was good, until I tried to draw a signature line. The word processor made it into a very dark line going all across the page and would not let me delete it, or type anything else. In my mind, I needed a different word processor. But Chris came to help and he got frustrated too, so he took my pics to the office to use a character reader on it.

While he was gone, I made and ate breakfast. Michelle texted, asking if I could pick up some pictures from WalGreens. I added that to the shopping list. Chris came back with the affidavit printed and also the seller forms for the sale of Dad's house. Both needed notarizing.

Chris packed the cooler and we went to Tooele. We stopped at Walgreens for her pics, then at the bank for notarizing. The second packet needed a lot of signatures AND some filling out. I didn't realize that so we just did signing. Then we shopped at Melanie's, Cal Ranch, and Macey's. I got a rake and two plants at Cal Ranch.

We went to the commissary when we got back to post. After getting a few more things, we went home and put the food away. I called Kurt to see how he filled out his forms. He hadn't yet. So I called William, who hadn't either. But his wife said she would do it early tomorrow morning and send it to me. She's a paralegal so she would know how, I guess.

I made a salad and ate fruit for supper. I read e-mail for awhile, then worked on my blog. I went to game night at Michelle's house and gave her her pictures. I played the game DIG while she and her husband took turns talking to me. It was hard to keep things straight. Then at 11, he carried out a big jug of filtered water to my car and I went home. Chris was already in bed. I rinsed my sprouts and did my yoga flow, then hit the hay.

Not now

Thursday

I got up just after the 7:35 alarm, having slept very well. I took the drops, drank hydrogen water, and brushed my teeth. I watered the plants and rinsed the sprouts. I took the morning supplements. I made up supplements for the week, and ordered more.

At 10 I went to the colonel's house to clean. I worked on the ovens and the master bath. I even took a shower in order to scrub the shower floor. At noon, I prepared to go home for breakfast, but Chris said he was coming up. So I kept cleaning. When he arrived, we went in the back. Things were getting very interesting, but then we heard a voice calling my name. So I quickly got dressed and went out to find the CSM crossing the street. She wanted to know how to clean grout. So I described how Brian did it with bleach water. Chris came out and said hi. Then we both got in our cars and left. He went back to work and I went home.

I made breakfast while listening to The Highwire. I got a late start so it was almost 3 till I finished it. At 3:30 I went to walk with the ladies. Diane showed up. We walked to Michelle's house to get her. The three of us walked and talked about Diane's new job and Kincie's death. After Diane left, Jenni came home. So we talked to her for awhile. It was almost 5 when I left.

I ate some fruit and looked up how to clean a ceramic oven and stainless steel appliances. I took a pic of my sewing machine and posted to Facebook that our sewing class this Saturday is a catch-up class because most people are going to the Hogle Zoo. (It's free this Saturday with military ID).

Chris came home from work with a pizza. I went up the hill to finish the oven and to shine up all the stainless appliances using Bar Keepers Friend liquid. After 90 minutes, I came home. I worked on my blog. I made tea and we watched two episodes of SG1. Chris went to bed and I stayed up to finish listening to some podcasts.

The Wednesday that wasn't

Wednesday

I got up before 8. I did the what constitutes the usual for a non-Wednesday. I started washing dishes, then went to colonel's house at 9 to get my cleaning supplies. I took them to Arzu's house and started cleaning her fridge. I took out all the shelves and bins. I washed each one and left it to dry.

Then I went to the apartment building and signed for one on the second floor. One of the inspectors offered to show me how to get the bins out of the colonel's fridge. So we went up there . He also told me the ovens weren't being replaced, so I needed to clean them. Which means I can't have the oven racks. (They are really nice racks.)

I went back to Arzu's house and worked in the bathroom upstairs. I also washed windows and window tracks. I went home for lunch and got my vacuum and some Mop-n-Glo. I went back to finish upstairs. I got to the bottom of the steps, then went walking with the ladies - Diane and Jenni. Then I went back to Arzu's house to finish vacuuming and mopping. I had to move the fridge and stove to mop behind them. I moved all my stuff and hers out to the garage and swept it. Then I mopped the kitchen and utility room.

Arzu drove up as I was putting stuff in my car. She didn't want the cleaners she had left behind so I inherited them. She paid me $20/ hr for the day. I gave her tips for the inspection tomorrow. We hugged and she left. I went home.

I was exhausted but went out to water the cabbages I planted yesterday(?). They looked dry. Having the hose in my hand, I watered some gopher holes too. In my head I was singing Maxwell's Silver Hammer. Then I went in the house to take a shower and lay down because I was so tired and achy. But laying down didn't seem to help. I heard Chris come home from Mass. I got up, put on a nightgown, and read e-mail. Texts about Kincie's death came through my phone. It hit us all hard. Then I worked on my blog.

I made tea and we watched two episodes of SG1. I listened to a podcast for an hour, then did some tapping and went to bed.

My few minutes of fame at Townhall

Tuesday

I got up about 7:40. I took supplements, brushed and swished. I wrote and typed up notes for the sewing class announcement at Townhall tonight. I planted a new batch of microgreens, and the cabbages rooting on the windowsill. I filled some gopher holes, too. Christine asked if I would open the swap shop for her substitute, so I did.

I carried the 5 gallon mouse trap up to the colonel's place and put it in the shed at 10. I cleaned the fridge in the garage for two hours, then came home for breakfast. I read some e-mail while I ate.

At 2, I went to Saronna's house to play. Her daughter was home from school. We enjoyed playing from the gospel book. Afterward, I came home to eat some fruit, then I locked the swap shop on my way to go walking with Tonja and Jenni. I stayed after to talk to Michelle who finally caught up with us.

Then I went home, and read e-mail and ate fruit, hoping the fruit would make me sleepy. I changed my shirt and went to the Town Hall at Headquarters. I sat up front with Michelle. After the main program, we each spoke about a different group that someone could participate in (sewing, walking, swap shop, gardening, etc) Alas, it was not being broadcast on Facebook and few people attended in person. Sigh.

Anyway, we stayed long after to talk to this person and that. I ended up talking to Michelle out in the parking lot after even Chris had left. Finally I went home about 8:30 and worked on my blog. We only had time for one episode of SG1 and it was the first of two-parter.

Later Chris went to bed and I did not intend to stay up, but found myself listening to something interesting while I played solitaire.

Cleaning the colonel's fridge and tuning a thumb piano

Monday

I got up before 8. I rinsed the sprouts and seeds. I read e-mail and listened to audios.

At 10, I went to the house formerly known as the colonel's house to clean. The cable guy was there, doing something outside. I cleaned the counter tops and started on the fridge. But I was unable to get the structure with the bins out to clean behind. So I called Michelle. Sadly I woke her up. But she came up and helped me get it out, clean it, and put it back. I was surprised that we didn't break it.

I left at noon to go make breakfast. Michelle went home, too, but came back later with the Pink Stuff to clean the ring in the toilet and the grease above the stove. Chris ate his lunch, then went over there to pick up the router and modem.

After eating, I read e-mail and listened to short videos. I planted some of the microgreens and covered them with a milk jug to keep rodents from nibbling on them. I also ran the hose into some gophers holes, but nothing ran out. I have to wonder how deep the holes go because I watered them for a long time and threw in all the dirt from the piles in my yard. And still they did not fill up.

I took the rest of the microgreens to the gym to give to Mickie. Then I went to the school to walk with Tonja and Rebecca. Diane couldn't make it. We walked around the school. Then I watered Jenni's plants and went home. I was hot so I drank kombucha and water.

Then I went to pick up Sophia. She was tired of doing math, so I told her it was ok, we could stop since we finished the 5th grade book. But still she sat in my car, until I finally realized that she still wanted to go to my house and do stuff. So she brought her coconut thumb piano. We looked it up online and tried to figure it out. We tried tuning it by the piano, but I couldn't tell if it was sharp or flat because it sounded so different. Then we went outside and re-potted some tomato plants. Finally I took her home.

On the way back, I stopped at one of the apartment buildings to do a quote. But I was in the wrong building. I called from his front door to find out it was the one in the next building. They are pretty much identical. So I walked over there and he was waiting. He showed me around his apartment. I checked the stove and fridge and tub and toilet and blinds. I quoted him $175 and explained how the sign-over process worked. We agreed on the plan.

I went home. Chris was cooking cauliflower steaks for me. I went out and mowed the back yard. It wasn't a great job. I discovered orange goopy stuff on the side of my house and wondered if Sophia put it there. Chris emptied the dead mice from the 5-gallon bucket trap. I ate the cauliflower and made a salad and had some fruit. I listened to Mary and Polly, then paused it to work on my blog.

We watched two episodes of SG1. He went to bed and I stayed up to finish a presentation. I did some tapping before I went to bed. I also wrote a list of things I didn't want to forget tomorrow which helped me fall asleep.

Mother's Day

Sunday

I got up around 9. I put away the laundry from yesterday. I did the usual and bustled around the kitchen, cutting up scraps and wiping spills. I whipped up a batter of cheese and eggs. I cut some onion stalks, diced them up and threw them in. As the cheese squares baked, I read e-mail. I looked up hints for the game I played last night. After 11, I started making breakfast. Chris let me listen to a message that Herberth had left, wishing me a happy mother's day.

I ate breakfast, then got dressed for church. I packed up some cheese squares for snack after the service. Then I took my trombone and headed to the chapel. When I got there, only the assistant was there. I unpacked my trombone and warmed up. Saronna and Michelle came. But the pastor was 20 minutes late. Turns out he got randomly selected for inspection at the front gate. I gave Swaran $50 for the baritone because that's all I had left. Then Pastor Chris started talking. And didn't stop until an hour later. He prayed, then Saronna and I and Sophia played three hymns. Everyone had some cheese squares, chatted a bit, then went home.

When I got home, Chris said Michele had called. So I called her back. She wished me a happy mother's day and we had a nice conversation. Just as I hung up, Chris said the colonel wanted to see us. So up the hill we went.

The colonel had his family there and they were cleaning the house. He had me go around to the rooms and see that they were clean. He gave us some beer that he couldn't take. Also stuff in the shed that needed to back to Self-help. After awhile I told Chris we should go and let them finish up. Unbeknownst to me, Michelle was across the street bringing CSM a treat for Mother's Day.

We came back to our house. I changed out of my church dress. I ate the last of the papaya and worked on my blog. I looked at gardening hacks. Chris worked on supper: mushrooms and ground beef. As I ate, I listened to James Corbett answer 100 questions.

I worked on my blog. I made tea and we watched several episodes of SG1. Chris went to bed and stayed up a little later to try to catch up on e-mail.

Game Night

Saturday

I got up around 8:30 with my head ringing after a night of little sleep. I was not happy about getting to bed so late and missing so many supplements and not having watered my sprouts last night. Don't mess with the schedule.

I used the toilet and it overflowed, even though I was standing there plunging as fast as I could. As soon as I screamed for Chris, it stopped. I clean up the floor and toilet. I sprayed everything with hydrogen peroxide. He washed the bath mats.

I rinsed sprouts and read e-mail, then worked on my blog for yesterday and the day before. Chris gave me a coconut oil massage and I took a shower and got dressed. I chose some cleaning supplies and went to the company house, expecting to strip the third bed and wash the sheets. But when I went in there, it was completely made up and the towels were untouched. So I collected towels from the master bath and the kitchen and threw them in the wash. Then I scrubbed the toilets and one tub. I vacuumed up drywall dust. (Someone had patched over the vent in the livingroom. ) I took out the garbage.

I went home to have breakfast, hoping the colonel would not call for me before it was finished. After 1, went back 1:25 to clean the house and mop the floors. I scrubbed a spot on the kitchen towel and left it to soak in the sink. Just before leaving, I rinsed it and threw it in the dryer. I got home about 3.

I asked Chris for help in printing the signature page of the real estate contract. We had to use the old desktop and it was slow. The copy it printed out was not great. I signed it, took a pic, and e-mailed that to the lawyer.

I was tired so I laid down. Michelle delivered some goat milk. I got up and used it to feed the kefir grains. Then I read a book until I fell asleep. Michelle and Casey walked over here with a gopher trap. He set it in the hole nearest the driveway. We talked for awhile, then they continued their walk and I worked on my blog and cropped pics.

It was after 8 when I got my affairs in order. I took the big water container over to Michelle's house for game night. It took Casey quite a while to get the game DIG to play. We talked the whole time. Then I listened to the game introduce the story line. I got past the first part to the asteroid, but then got stuck in some kind of game-in-a-game. No way to get out but to exit the entire thing. Casey restarted it. And I ended up in the same place. I did notice this time that the right arrow key rotates the tiny ship trying to land. But it always crashes.

I quit the game a little early (so the little ship could stop crashing), but continued talking to Michelle. Her husband filled the water container for me. At 11:30 we wrapped up the conversation and I went home.

Chris had already gone to bed. I turned off the router and did my yoga flow, then went to bed.

Star Party

Friday I got up before 8. After the usual getting ready, I sat down to read some e-mail. I went to Jenni's house to water her plants. They seemed awfully dry. I also stopped at the post office, but there was nothing important.

I went home and Chris was taking a shower. When he was done, we hit the road for Tooele, listening to our book on CD. We shopped at the usual places, then went back to base. We stopped at the commissary for a few more things. We ran into the colonel who was not having the best of luck with the movers today. He said he won't need us until 5 or later.

We unloaded the groceries, then I went to the company house to get the laundry started. There was a car parked on the street and one bedroom door was shut so I think someone was sleeping in there. The second bed was stripped and another was covered in rumpled sheets. So I stripped that bed and washed all the sheets together, then left.

I went home and called Faye. She said to expect a contract by e-mail and to print out the last page and sign it. I made breakfast and read the contract. I sent a message, then continued eating. I spent some time in the sun , then went to the company house to put the sheets in the

dryer and to make the one bed up with the spare sheets in case he came back to sleep. The third door was still shut, so I walked as quietly as possible. When I got home, I read more e-mail, I jotted notes for my blog. I ate some of my sprouts. I went back one more time to get the sheets out and dress the remaining bed. The third door was still shut. When I got home, I cut a bunch of onion stems. I washed them and cut them up and put them in a jar with ginger, mustard seeds, red pepper flakes, and garlic cloves. Then I heated a brine and poured it over them. I put the lid on and left it to cool.

Around 6, Chris left to go help the colonel and see about the setting up of telescopes by the Dark Skies people. The moving truck was still there and kind of in the way. At 6:30 I thought to have a bite to eat before going to the Community Club for the Dark Skies presentation at 7. But then I got a text from Chris asking me to bring a vacuum brush attachment for the colonel. So I changed into warmer clothes and just then he texted again asking for step stools to go with the telescopes. I gathered 4 and drove up the hill and went between the barricades to deliver

them. I took the attachment in the house and gave it to the colonel. We chatted for a bit, then I went down the hill to the Community Club. It was full of people. And people were going in and out from the conference room to the main eating room.

Dark Skies were giving their presentation on light pollution and ways to improve lighting. I sat in the near corner so as not to block anyone's sight. Around 8:20 the presentation ended and everyone left for their cars to drive up the hill, park near the blockade and walk the rest of the way. But Chris texted me asking that I bring a jacket for the colonel. So I went home to get it. Since I was hungry, I ate something and filled a bottle with tea. Then I headed out to the hill.

The line of parked cars looked long. I parked at the end and started walking. As I walked, I noticed breaks in the cars where I could have parked closer. Sigh. Chris came down the hill to meet me. We walked back up together.

The cul-de-sac was filled with telescopes and people. And a moving truck being loaded from the colonel's garage. I took Diane and Chrissy to see the panorama. We had a nice chat as it got dark. We walked back to the gathering. The light in the garage was annoyingly bright, but couldn't be helped. Michelle had brought some camp chairs for us to sit in. But Chris was out and about chatting. I sat with Michelle and Tonja and talked to them. Every once in a while I spotted an empty telescope and I looked through it. Orion's belt had already set, but we could see Venus and Mars and some galaxies far far away.

The event was open to the public so there were lots of people I didn't know. And there were lots of kids. Thankfully each telescope was supervised. Only one of the stepstools got used. When the colonel shut off the garage light, the lights on the truck seemed to get brighter. The temp dropped and I wished I had brought a warmer coat.

Tonja and Jeff left. Michelle and I went inside so she could use the bathroom. I spotted a drawer and medicine cabinet that did not get packed. The colonel had some questions about how clean he needed to get the window sills and base boards. He wants to come back tomorrow and have me clean in the kitchen while he works on the bedrooms and bathrooms.

So we went back outside. I stood close to Chris for a bit then said I wanted to go home. We loaded the stepstools into his car. The truck left. Chris stood around talking so Michelle gave me a ride back to my car. We carried another lady, too. She was from off post and Michelle tried to recruit her to the Dugway team. Then the lady drove away in her car and I drove away in mine.

I was horrified to see that it was 11:30. I brought in the tomato plants, did my exercises and went to bed. Chris showed up later and crawled in beside me. My mind went around and around and I could not sleep.

It worked too well

Thursday

I woke up before the first alarm, dreaming I was teaching, but it wasn't math. I got ready for the day, and then read e-mail. Jenni texted about the swap shop. I broke down boxes while waiting for her. She put bags of stuff in my car and asked me to water her plants for the weekend.

I read more, and looked through The Great Patriot Buy-cott book to find good companies to buy from. I listened to an interview where Ben Greenfield said he eats his protein for lunch and his carbs for dinner. That helps him sleep. So I made my usual breakfast and started watching The Highwire. I ate a piece of steak as well.

I paused the video to fill out a cleaning contract. Then I met Diane and Tonja at the chapel. I unlocked the door to the fellowship hall and we used the dolly there to transport the boxes of food to Tonja's vehicle. I returned the dolly while they went to the swap shop. Then I drove over there to unload what Jenni put in my car this morning. I also helped bring in boxes of food.

At 1:30 I went home. I listened a little longer, then went up the hill to the colonel's house with the contract. Housing was already there. Movers were packing boxes. We chatted then signed the contract. Brian gave me the house keys. I jokingly asked him why he was in my house. It took him a moment to get it. He showed me the irrigation system that he put in. He also showed me the panorama pic that was installed on the gazebo to identify each mountain and hill that can be seen from that location. I noticed the fan out there was missing a blade. He said it was a good thing it wasn't his house anymore. Touche.

I went home to listen to a little more Highwire. Then I went to the school to meet the ladies. We walked around the school, stopping to talk to the visiting parents of a resident. When we got back to the cars, Diane left. Michelle and I went to the gym for my weekly workout. But we stayed long after to talk.

I went home to have supper. Chris went to meet the colonel at the club. I made a salad and then ate some fruit. I got very sleepy. Michelle wanted me to go to karaoke at the club, but I declined. So I went to her house. At my request, she clipped off a skin tag on my shoulder. It hurt, but did not bleed. I was very glad to have it gone. We talked for over an hour. Her husband came back from exercising at the gym. She invited him to go for a walk, so I headed home. Chris was back from the club. I made tea and we watched an episode of SG1. Then he went to bed. The sleepiness wore off. I stayed up to read Telegram messages and to post to my blog.

Checking out a baritone

Wednesday

I woke up from a dream hearing my 7:30 alarm ring. I stayed in bed till the grogginess went away. I felt much better than yesterday. Then I prepared for coffee morning, with exercises, etc. Then I cleaned the bathrooms and kitchen. Because I washed dishes yesterday, I had few today. I also watered plants and changed the water for cuttings.

I vacuumed the house, then took a shower, Chris came home - but not for lunch. Maybe just a break from work? I took the vacuum cleaner cup out back to empty it into a plastic bag. I read e-mail for awhile and listened to an interview while I read an article about electroculture.

At 3:30 I checked my phone and drove to the school. There was a message from Chris asking me to go to the colonel's house to talk about the sign-over. So I walked with the ladies around the school. We stopped at the chapel to talk to Sgt King about the non-perishable food in the fellowship hall. We want to take it to the swap shop and he said it was ok. He will be leaving at the end of August.

When we got back to our cars, Diane handed me a baritone that she is selling. It has no mouthpiece. I went up the hill to the colonel's house. We talked about how things are going and the sign-over tomorrow. Then I went home. I used my mouthpiece to try out the baritone. I ate the rest of the unflavored gelatin. I listened to more gardening videos.

Chris came home briefly, then went to the chapel for Mass. I went to an apartment to give a quote. The place was pretty clean except for blinds and window tracks. I quoted him $150. We had a nice chat, then I went home.

I brought the tomato plants inside. Chris came back because there was no Mass tonight because the priest had something else to do. So I have to wonder who was the priestly-looking guy with Sgt King this afternoon? I went back to reading articles. I worked on my blog.

I made tea and we got an early start on watching the usual two episodes of SG1. Chris went to bed not long after. I stayed up to read and listened to short videos. Then I went to bed.

A new tens unit

Tuesday

I got up before 7:30. That spot on my groin still felt sore, like having a bandaid ripped off. Or like sore hair follicles when you have the flu.

I listened to RFK jr talk to Dane Wiggington from geoengineeringwatch.com. He had a lot of good points. Partly it had something to do with VPD. I was washing dishes so I didn't hear everything he said.

I ran to swap shop with the extra cleaners from yesterday and to open it for Shiloh. I came home and posted swap shop pics on Facebook. I think I sat in the sun for a bit? Then Faye called around 11:11 to talk about buying Dad's house. I made breakfast, the ate fruit in the sun. I went back to the internet. Chris came home briefly, and left again.

At 2 I went to lock up the swap shop, then over to Saronna's house to play. We picked a few songs from a gospel song book, and when the Saints go Marching In. Then she had to pick up her kids and I went home to change my shoes.

I walked with Diane and Tonja and picked up trash. I went home, and listened to Mike Adams. At 5 I went to the gas station and read a book until Chrissy showed up. She had a tens unit for sale. I made sure my pads fit it and she showed me how it works. I paid her and we parted ways.

I listened to another Mike Adams interview while reading the unit instructions. Chris came home from work. I heated leftovers in the toaster oven and made a salad. After eating, I worked on my blog. I made tea and we watched two episodes of SG1. Later he went to bed, and at 11, so did I.

Hemming pants

Monday

I got up around 7 when Chris was getting ready to leave for work. I had a little difficulty getting out of bed because of back pain. After doing the usual first things, I read a book while sitting against the PEMF mat. Sadly my back only got worse. I stood for a minute in the sun.

Reading was putting me to sleep so I laid down for 45 minutes. Feeling better, I whipped up a batch of seed crackers. I put on an interview and hand-stitched a hem while sitting in a regular chair. I took the seed crackers out of the oven.

Chris came home from work. I started making breakfast. I ate it while reading on the internet. Chris went back to work. I listened to another interview while I finished handsewing the hem in the other pant leg. I sat out in the sun for awhile, then came in.

I stopped at the library to get the next season of SG1, then went walking with Diane. We both picked up trash. There was lots because it has been very windy. When we finished our walk, I picked up Sophia and brought her to my house.

She wanted to do math last, so we got boxes of cleaners from the garage and sorted them, consigning some to the swap shop pile. Others joined the ones on the bookcase in the hallway. Then we did some math from a 6th grade math book. It seemed like a review of 5th grade math. I took her home before 6.

When I got back, Chris was making steak. I put the hemmed pants in a bag and hung it on her door, then walked back. I had steak and rice for dinner, then made a salad. I pitched Chris the idea of having an automatic movie night at the club when power goes out. (It has a generator). I'll even donate a bag of popcorn.

I worked on my blog. I made tea and we watched the next season of SG1. He went to bed a little later and I stayed up to read and to listen to an ASMR video.

New recruits for sewing class

Sunday

There were blips in the night from Chris' phone and then it rang around 7. I was afraid it was work, but it was Herberth keeping Chris up to date on his trip to the U.S. I stayed in bed late. Chris came in to wake me up at 8 but I was already awake.

I got up to work on the muffins. I heated honey to add to the mix, then poured the mix into the mini muffin form and spent some time getting all 20 about equal. And it was time to bake.

I jotted notes for my blog and posted for Friday. I read e-mail. I had to keep adding time to the muffins. When they were finally done, I took them out. Then Chris gave me a coconut oil massage. I took a shower and then he took his. I made and ate breakfast. I got dressed for church.

I arrived at the chapel with my trombone, and a container of muffins. I said 'hi' to Sgt King as I walked in. I assembled my trombone and took it in the fellowship hall to warm up. Russ followed me and asked what he should do with the salad that he brought for the pot luck. I showed him the fridge and told him that we only have pot luck on the last Sunday of the month.

I went back to the sanctuary. I saw Jenni and told her we missed her at sewing class. Russ said he wanted to come to a sewing class so I told him when the next class would be. Then the service started with the guitar guy playing three praise songs, two of which we had never heard before. Then Pastor Josh gave a talk from the book of John. Then Saronna and I played a few hymns chosen by the congregation.

After the service, I talked to Russ and the other new guy (who also wants to come to sewing class). I chatted with Saronna then we both headed out, making sure the doors were locked.

I went home and changed clothes. Chris was gaming. I threw in another load of laundry. I hung up Chris' shirts. I worked on eating a slab of jackfruit. Stirling came over with a pair of pants that he needs hemmed by Tuesday. I finished the jackfruit and cut it up for the compost. I put on my shoes to go walking to help my back. As I went out the front door with two plastic bags, someone called my name. It was Erin in the park across the street. I walked over to talk to her. We talked for some time and I gave her one of the bags for her trash. Then I walked around collecting trash in nearby yards and street. I threw all the trash in the bin outside.

It was almost 5 when I finished. I ate some leftovers. The various Damours signed into Discord. Chris helped me to sign in. we found ourselves in a dungeon, beaten up from the last fight. We took a short break to restore some healing powers. I cast a Comrade Succor spell to help those who were worst hit. Then we moved into the north tunnel. We investigated the room on the left and had to fight a headless skeleton. Then we went forward through the portcullis and had to fight “The Lopper”. He was tough but we prevailed. Then we investigated a hole in the floor with weapons and gold pieces in it. John called the game early and assigned us experience points.

I listened to podcasts from Telegram messages. Then I worked on my blog and posted for Saturday. I made tea and we folded laundry. Then we watched episodes of Have Gun Will Travel. After that, we made the bed with the laundered sheets. Chris went to bed and I stayed up a little longer.

Kids love bags

Saturday

I got up just before 7, having been awake for awhile. Like yesterday, it took a while to fall asleep and I am not sure how much I got. I went out to the kitchen to start the usual. I read e-mail while swishing. Then the power went off at 8. Chris took a shower and we went to Tooele. We shopped at the usual places. Macey's had big tomato plants so I got two. Then we went home, listening to our book on CD.

I got really sleepy, so when we got to the commissary, I slept in the car while Chris went inside. He also stopped at the post office, but there was no mail. When we got home, we carried the groceries inside. Chris put them away while I laid down.

He came back to the bedroom when the power came back on just before noon, all as scheduled. I got up and made breakfast while he boiled eggs. I read e-mail as I ate.

At 1:20 I chose some fabric and got my sewing stuff together. He loaded the machines in my car, and we went to the chapel. He carried stuff in and I set up the machines in the fellowship hall, making sure each machine was threaded and had proper tension.

Tonja arrived and wrote instructions on the board. Saronna and her kids showed up, and another boy. We cut the fabric, and helped them sew. Isodora came late with pajama pants to finish. Jedidiah was so cute as he put pins back in the pin cushion. Jen helped move the machines back to my car. It took longer than usual, so we went home late.

I sat down to read e=mail. The power blipped, so I decided to make muffins before something worse happened. Well, the power went out again before I cracked the first egg. But, being hopeful, I went ahead with the recipe. Chris lit a burner with a match and cooked mushrooms. I went to Tonja's house to grind the flax seeds and give her reciepts.

She remarked how happy the kids were with their new bags.

When I got home, I ate some mushrooms, and mixed the flax in with the eggs. I read outside till the light faded, then suggested we take the popcorn maker and a movie to his office. So we did. However the movie wouldn't play on his work computer so eventually he went home and got his laptop. We watched “Interstellar”. He turned off the lights.....

It was over at midnight. We packed up and went home. I jotted notes for my blog. Then we went to bed.

** He loves his job of collecting pins. **

The game is finished!

Friday

I got up before 8, not sure how well I slept. I know I listened to two rounds of the BWE before turning off the headphones. I did the usual first stuff, then listened to podcasts. I went to the company house at 9 to start the laundry. I searched the house for towels that weren't in the pile. It looked like their personal stuff was still here.

I went home, read more e-mail and articles, and went back to put sheets in the dryer and towels and bathmats in the washer. The bathroom light was on and I thought I turned it off. I went home. After more reading, I made and ate breakfast, then went back to dress the beds and put the towels in the dryer. I hung up the bathmats to dry.

At home, I put sheets in my washer, and wrote invoice for April and emailed it. I made a grocery list. I read e-mail until Chris came home from writing his sitrep. He was frustrated that it took longer than he anticipated. He asked if we could go to Tooele tomorrow morning instead. Since the power is scheduled to be off until noon, I agreed.

I went back to the company house to finish the towels and take out the trash. My back was bothering me so I didn't do any cleaning or vacuuming. The personal items were gone. When I got home, I went for a walk to the swap shop and back.

I read an article on planting by the phase of the moon. Plant beets, potatoes, etc now, and above ground veggies during waxing moon. I played audios and puzzles.

Finally I had supper at 6. I watches a video on deep fakes. It is distressing to see how easy technology makes fake videos seem completely real. I worked on my blog, then listened to an interview on fasting before menopause vs fasting after menopause.

At 8 I took the water container and a baggie of sprouts to Michelle's house. Casey was getting the game up on the monitor. She and I talked for a little while till it was up. The kids were still up so I chatted with them, too, and they made suggestions on the game. With a little help, I won the last 3 games, not realizing that was the end. But when the lights flashed and a trophy appeared on the screen, it was an exciting moment. But also a little sad.

It was also 11pm, so we wrapped up our conversation, and I took the full water container home. It was too heavy, so I left it in the car. I came inside, turned off the router, and got ready for bed.
