The debriefing

Monday

I got up and did the usual things. I don't remember how I slept. Probably not well. I made a Swansons order for the supplements that were running out. At 10 I got off my laptop to go cleaning. But the linings in my boots were bunched up. So I took the time to straighten them and glue them in place. Then I put on the other pair and headed out.

I used vinegar in the walls and soaked the filters. They were still greasy. I cleaned the inside of the fridge. After an hour and 45 minutes of cleaning in the kitchen, packed up. It was 10 degrees, but the roof was dripping.

When I got home, I made breakfast. Chris came home and wanted to expound on his feelings about conversations that happened last night. An hour later, I got to eat breakfast, Chris ate his lunch and went back to work. I read e-mail for awhile, then went to the gym to meet the ladies.

We walked around the track and talked. Jenni left first, then Diane. Finally Michelle followed me to the apartment and helped me carry out the trash. Then I went by Housing to schedule the inspection for the previous apartment. Then I picked up Sophia and brought her to my house. I had her count change, then we worked on her chapter 7 book test. After that, I had her clean the tub in the master bathroom. Chris came home from work. She finished and I took her home.

When I got back, I heated up steak and squash for supper. I also minced garlic and drizzled oil on it. I added some tiny potatoes to the beef and ate that. Michelle came over to talk to Chris about a job in Maryland. She stayed till 9, then I had to suggest it was getting late.

We watched episode one of Stargate SG1. Very violent. Chris went to bed but I stayed up to read e-mail.

Chris in church

Sunday

I went to bed late, then tossed and turned for hours. Partly I was worried about church. I sorta kinda lead the service, which is fine with just my friends, but having just invited the Utah National Guard, something a little more on target might be expected. And what if I don't have enough snack?

Finally, I got up, drank a little tonic water, and read a book for some time. When I got tired, I went back to bed, but sleep did not come and soon Chris was getting up to start his day. I made a plan to sleep in, and eventually I did sleep. I woke up and it wasn't bright out so I tried to go back to sleep, still pondering the issue of church.

I got up at 9:30. Chris was still here. He was supposed to visit the Shoshonee remembrance of the Bear River Massacre. But bad weather had canceled his plans. I asked him to come to church and he said he would.

I drank hydrogen water and peeled the parchment paper from the giant seed cracker. I broke it up into smaller pieces and put them in a container for church. I jotted notes for my blog for last night. I watered the plants. I read e-mail and listened to various talks.

I washed up and got dressed for church. I made breakfast and ate it. I grabbed the seed crackers and remaining cheese squares. I carried my trombone and guitar out to the car. Chris suited up and got in the passenger seat. We went to the chapel.

Jenni arrived at the same time. Chris carried the instruments while I unlocked the door. I put the seed crackers on the back table and kept the cheese squares in my handbag in case we didin't need them. I assembled my trombone. Chris called Maintenance to fix the hot water in the building. Randy walked in. When Chris' call was ended, we sang two hymns. Randy said the prayer, then asked us to talk about what we read this week. Michelle said hers, Diane talked, Jenni said something, and I talked. Randy made notes, then started talking about Genesis. It wasn't a sermon because people asked questions or made comments, which changed the direction he was going.

Then Jenni talked about a hymn and the person who wrote it. Then I played it on trombone as we sang it. Afterward I announced the snacks. And Diane specifically asked about cheese squares so I pulled the container out. But no extra people had come from the Utah National Guard. And Jenni suggested the cheese square be eaten with a seed cracker. So then almost all the cheese got eaten. Sigh.

We locked up and went home. It was cold, snowing and gusty. When we got home, we changed clothes. We harvested the small pineapple and ate it. I read e-mail for a bit, then heated up steak and squash. I crushed some garlic. When hot, I ate them together.

At 5 the game started. Our little team was jumped on by three giant spiders. I kept healing the injured but they got re-injured and I ran out of healing spells. We did vanquish them, then headed to the courtyard to set up camp for the night. But then three muddy skeletons came out of the lake and attacked us. So we fought again and I used a “turn undead” spell to immobilize them long enough that we could run to the town. We went back to the professors house where his daughter served us supper. Then we bedded down for the night and each had a nightmare.

After the game, Chris and I discussed it. Then I worked on my blog. I made tea and we watched TV. We finished season 5 of Jeannie. The last episode did not seem like a season ender, much less the end of the whole show.

Soon Chris went to bed. I stayed up to catch up on e-mail, then went to bed myself.

Preparing for taxes

Saturday

I got up before 9, having awakened often during the night and not knowing why. I drank hydrogen water, then spent quite a bit of time figuring out what I earned last year in cleaning and inheriting and cat sitting. I went through contracts, envelops, blog entries, etc. I called Faye and Kurt. Finally I handed Chris a list that might have been complete.

He gave me a coconut oil massage, then took a shower. When he was done, I took my shower. He got the laundry started. I whipped up a batch of seed crackers and put them in the oven. Then I made breakfast and ate it while looking at e-mail. I worked on collating my contracts and envelops to make a better system for next year. In response to a text, I walked to the swap shop and unlocked it. I also collected our mail, which wasn't much.

Michelle picked me up. We went to the barracks to deliver the cookies she had made to the visiting soldiers. I believe they are the Utah National Guard. But we couldn't find them. We had to ask around and finally someone told us they would put out the word if we left the cookies in the dining facility. So we left three containers of cookies on a table with signs about the church services tomorrow and Wednesday.

Michelle took me by the swap shop and I locked it. Then she took me home. She showed me a website on her phone where she intends to take certification courses. I went inside and she left. Chris was roasting squash. He heated some beef for me. When it was done, I added some of the tiny potatoes that I grew this summer. Then I crushed some pickled garlic and fresh garlic. I ate it after 10 minutes, along with some tomatoes.

I read e-mail and listened to short videos. Then I worked on my blog and heated tea. Reading what I wrote yesterday, I realized I had left aluminum filters soaking in ammonia water at the apartment. So I quickly threw on my coat and went over there to rescue them. But they didn't need rescuing because all the water had seeped out of the sink. And the filters were still covered in grease. So I filled the other side of the sink with hot ammonia water, put the filters in, and left.

When I got home, I apologized to Chris, who was sitting in front of the TV. On the screen it said “About Time”. That was funny, and also the title of the Netflix movie that came in the mail. We really liked it and I realized I had seen it before, although he hadn't.

It ended about 11. I read e-mail, waiting for him to signal it was time to dress the bed with clean sheets. But he did it himself and turned in. When I realized that, I shut off my laptop and went through my nightly routine, then went to bed.

Green jello?

Friday

I got up around 9, not having slept well. Too many hot flashes. I brushed and swished and drank hydrogen water. I watered the plants. I read a little e-mail, posted an ICE comment for yesterday, then got dressed and went to the apartment to clean.

I started on the kitchen cabinets. I soaked the filters in ammonia water. I scrubbed at tiny grease spots on the walls. Jamie stopped by. She looked around and we chatted. But she had to get back to her daughter. After she left, I threw out the food in the fridge. It was all dated 2021 and 2022. I washed the shelves in the fridge. They looked like green jello had exploded and dried.

At noon I went home. I left the apartment key out so Jamie could get it if she wanted to clean while we were gone. I made and ate breakfast while Chris went to the office to do his sit-rep. He came back about 2.

We bundled up and headed to Tooele. Finally the temp got above freezing, which it hasn't done since last week. Chris timed our travel from the front gate to the near edge of Tooele for work purposes. We shopped at Luckeys, then I walked to Melanie's, Joann's, and Cal Ranch. Then we went to Macey's and headed home. We listened to the book on CD.

Chris had already been to the post office, so we went straight home. While he put the food away, I went to the commissary to pick up a few things that are cheaper there. I ran into some people I know so I chatted with them. Eventually I checked out and came home.

Chris helped me put away the food. He had roasted our home-grown small potatoes, so I had some of that and some pineapple. Not THE pineapple. Jenni called from Tooele just to talk. And she was well on her way to talking all the way back, when I told her I needed to hang up and eat. So she hung up and I had some steak and garlic. And I worked on my blog.

I filled a kombucha bottle with tea and went to Michelle's house. Her husband had the Rubik's game loaded on the big TV. Cedric was trying to play it and not succeeding. So he turned it over to me. My luck wasn't much better. I skipped that one and tried others. I had at least 2 successes. Windows went down and had to be rebooted. So I chatted with Michelle. Then I played around with a real puzzler until 11, and called it quits.

Michelle had made hundreds of cookies and printed a paper about church options to go with them. We made plans to deliver them tomorrow. Then I headed home. When I arrived, Chris was still up. I decided not to get on my laptop, but to go straight to bed, so that is what we did.

Bouncing like a kid

Thursday

I woke up to go to the bathroom and Chris was just coming in to take his shower. I don't think I went back to sleep after that. I waited until I was sure he had left the house. Then I got up to do the usual first morning things.

I read e-mail for a bit. Then I got dressed and prepared a cleaning contract. Chris came home early to fix a sandwich and headed out. I went by the posts office to pick up the mail. Then I went to the apartment building and sat in my car waiting for either Jamie or Michelle to show up. Neither did.

So at 11, I went up to the second floor. When I saw the inspectors in the doorway, I was relieved. I went inside and they did their usual thing. I presented the contract and they and he signed it. He put the cash on top and she took a picture of that. Collie said there was food in the kitchen. I did not go look. Man asked if he could leave his trash cans there and I said yes, we would take them to the swap shop. He gave me his key and I put it in the envelop with the cash.

Then we all left. As we got to the first floor, he called out that the apartment wasn't locked. So Bailey came with me to lock it (so I wouldn't have to walk by him alone). Then as we reached the first floor again, he called out that he had left some bags inside. Again, she went with me to unlock it and let him get his stuff. I locked it again and we all walked out. I went out front with her and talked until we saw his car drive away. Then I went out back to get my car.

I went to the library to return a DVD and get another one. Then I went to the first apartment to finish shampooing the shag carpet, leaving just the bedroom carpet for later. I went home for breakfast.

As I was preparing it, Jenni called to ask about church and what we could do in the absence of a chaplain. I finished breakfast and watched The Highwire. At 3:30 I went to the gym to walk. But there were bouncy houses in the gym and Michelle and Jenni were talking to parents as the kids played. I took off my shoes and went to jump. It was quite a workout. Later Diane came and we walked upstairs. It was 4:45 when I left.

I went to the first apartment to finish vacuuming and shampooing. I also pulled down the outdoor temperature sensor. Then I went home to get the key to the new apartment. I went over there to drop off the cleaning supplies. I also pulled the cut fruit from his fridge and took it home. I read the sell-by dates. I threw out the October and December ones, But two were dated today so I kept those and ate one.

Chris had come home from work and put steaks in the oven (even though he brought home his usual pizza). After eating the fruit and letting it digest a bit, I ate some steak with rice. I worked on my blog and fielded texts. I crushed garlic and ate it.

I made tea and we watched episodes of Jeannie. The DVD had two minisodes on it, which we thought were cross-over episodes, but they had nothing to do with Jeannie. Afterward, we got into an argument, resolved it, then he went to bed and I stayed up as usual.

Can't gag me with a spoon

Wednesday

I got up around 8, having slept reasonably well. I watered all the plants and rootings with a solution of egg shells in vinegar. Then I prepared for coffee morning. I was scraping my tongue when it occurred to me that the experience was different. I moved the scraper further and further back on my tongue and the gag reflex never kicked in. How long has that been going on? I wondered if I should be alarmed.

I made coffee, and did the usual exercises. I meditated and tapped. Then I cleaned the bathrooms and kitchen. Chris never came home for lunch. I put underwear in a washbowl to soak.

I looked up gag reflex, but didn't find much on not having one. Someone sent me a link to an interview with Dr. Michael Yeadon, a former chief science officer for Pfizer. He said that older people have lowered immune systems which don't respond well to new challenges, so why would we expect them to respond well to vaccines? The people that get benefit don't need it and the people who are at risk of death don't get the benefit. Flu vaccines don't reduce serious illness and death in the vulnerable. Vaccination is the wrong strategy for any new outbreak like this. It should always be early treatment.

At 3:30 I went to the gym. I walked with Diane, Jenni, and Michelle. Afterward, I worked out in the weight room with Michelle. Then I went to pick up Sophia. I drove her back to my house. She elected to clean before doing math, so I had her clean the tub in the guest bathroom. Then we sat down at the dining room table to work from her math book. She was more interested in questioning the word problems than in doing the work. One problem was about two guys that get different gas mileages and suggested dividing in order to compare the two. That made no sense to me and she wanted to know how old the guys were.

Chris came home near the end of tutoring. She packed up and I took her home, passing by the chapel where several cars were now parked. No lights were on. I dropped her off at home, then went past the chapel again. This time some guys were standing beside their cars. I asked if they were here for the Catholic service and they said yes. I let them know that the priest was on vacation for the month of January. They thanked me and I continued home. I told Chris about it and he said there were visitors on post. BTW, the holy family was gone but the stable was still there.

I snacked on ghee and read e-mail while listening to podcasts. Then I remembered the puzzle. I threw it in my purse and went to Charity's house to return it. Since I was already out, I went by the library to return season 4 of Jeannie. But the building was locked.

I went home, covered my windshield against the latest snowfall, and went back to e-mail. I worked on my blog. I made tea and practiced my trombone. We watched several episodes of Jeannie. Then he went to bed and I stayed up late to listen to podcasts and interviews.

Testing a tiny pineapple

Tuesday

I slept very well last night. I got up to have hydrogen water, brush, and swish. I worked on preparing supplements, but didn't finish. I went cleaning at 10. Jamie didn't show up. I went home for my vacuum. I also finished the supplements, then went back at 11. I spent most of my time vacuuming and running the carpet shampooer. I left at 12:15.

When I got home, Chris was already there. As he prepared his lunch, I worked on breakfast. I read e-mail, then at 3:30, went to the gym. I walked with Michelle and Diane until Diane had to go back to work. Michelle expounded on her interview, which went well, but the salary of the job offer was very disappointing, far lower that what was in the announcement.

I went home. I ate some beef and read articles. Chris came home and made his supper. I made tea and we watched episodes of Jeannie. I never did get to the library with season 4. Afterward, Chris tested the pineapple to see if it was soft, then went to bed. I stayed up to listen to some podcasts, but went to bed earlier than usual.

Finishing the puzzle

Monday

I got up late after not having slept very well. I had RLS again and this time tonic water did not stop it. MP3 headphones helped. I got up around 8:30. I drank hydrogen water and poured some on a plant. I brushed and swished and all the usual. I read e-mail, then put on a podcast. I looked up ways to activate the vagus nerve and made a list. I also went through my collection of such things.

At 11, I went to the apartment to clean. I applied hydrogen peroxide, Dawn and baking soda to to the wall, and filled the sink with hot soapy water to wash the bins of the fridge. Then Jamie showed up with her daughter. While Jamie cleaned the bathroom for an hour, I talked to her daughter about ways to help curb a panic attack. And she told me all about the games she plays and her surgeries.

At 12:15, we all left. I went home to make breakfast. I ran out of supplement doses. I read e-mail for a bit, then put on a podcast and worked on the puzzle from Game Night. It was after 3:30 when I left for the gym. I put a check in the mail. I met Jenni and we talked as we walked. After walking, I went back to the apartment to finish the fridge. It made a wet mess because the sink was so small.

After 45 mins, I went home. I went back to piecing the puzzle. Chris came home from work and put sirloins in the oven. When they were done, we ate them with rice and salad. I finished the puzzle. Then I looked at sewing videos, before working on my blog.

I made tea and we watched episodes of Jeannie. Chris went to bed and I stayed up later, but not as late as usual.

Catching a poltergeist

Sunday

I slept in. Although I had used the magnesium oil liberally last night, I woke up with mild RLS. I didn't realize it at first, so I tossed and turned for a while before I got up and drank some tonic water. Thankfully the quinine in it kicked in quickly.

I got up after 9. It was snowing. I drank hydrogen water as I filled in my blog for yesterday. I brushed and swished. I read e-mail for 20 minutes, then Chris gave me a massage. He took a shower and then I took mine. I got dressed, then read e-mail for a bit. Charity came over to get the keys for the swap shop and she removed snow from our sidewalk.

I made and ate breakfast. I took my trombone and the remaining cheese squares to the chapel. As I was setting up my trombone, John arrived at the doors. He came in and sat down as we talked. I started getting worried, but then Diane came and afterward, Michelle came with her husband and daughter. Randy wasn't there yet, so Michelle called and said he would be there soon. So we played hymns and said a prayer. Then he walked in the front door. He said he didn't have a topic and asked for one. Diane shared something which gave him the idea to talk about how to talk about the message. He added in lots of historical details. Then I played 3 more hymns, and Casey said a prayer.

With the service over, we chatted over snacks about next week. Randy asked for people to submit topics and Michelle suggested we each submit something next week. They ate all my cheese snacks. Michelle had brought freeze-dried cheese squares and they were good, too.

When I got home, I whipped up a batch of cheese and put it in the oven. I read Telegram messages until it was time for the cheese to come out. I could hear Chris playing his game with voices in the other room. I continued reading messages and snacking. We folded the laundry and new towels until the 5pm game started.

Our intrepid adventurers, having rested and recuperated from the last attack, resumed investigating the prison. They found nothing more on the upper level, so they went back to the ground level. In the northwest corner, they found a laundry room with moldy piles of clothing. Two straitjackets came out and attacked two members of the group. Between the 5 of them, they managed to fight them off. Then they had to give healing surges to Xune, who was completely out. The next room turned out to be an infirmary. A poltergeist lived there and attacked Berian quite severely. It was more than Rose could heal. But she was able to capture the poltergeist in a ghost bottle. Then Vaunea took the lead into the next room, which was full of cobwebs. She threw in a piece of debris and giant spiders appeared, and headed toward the group. And the game called for time.

I worked on my blog. I made tea and we watched episodes of jeannie. Chris went to bed and I stayed up to listen to a podcast.

There's no Jesus like Snow Jesus

Saturday

We woke up slowly and stayed in bed late. When I got up, I drank hydrogen water and brushed and swished. I made more green mix. I cleaned up around the kitchen. I read e-mail for awhile, then made and ate breakfast.

At 1:30 I got stuff together for sewing class. Chris put the machines in my car and I carried the rest. I drove to the chapel, arrived just before Tonja. We went in together, then Chris came and brought the sewing machines in from the car. We set up for class. I wrote the instructions on the board, then I realized I had forgotten the sample hat.

Christina brought her two young kids. Isadora and Jenni came. But not Saronna and her kids. I had Isadora make a half-glove since she had already made the hat. She also made a phone pouch, all on her own. Jenni made a hat and brought her gown to be altered. Christina's kids each made a hat.

Michelle arrived late. We looked through the kitchen at the food the chaplain left behind. We talked about putting away the Christmas decorations that the chaplain's assistant wasn't doing. Jenni tried on her dress and I basted tucks in the shoulders.

They helped me carry the machines out to my car. We could see the holy family huddled in the snow under a small barn roof. When my car was packed, we went home. Chris helped me bring the machines in. I ate fruit, then went to the company house to check to see that it was ready for new habitation. No dead mice. I wiped away some fingerprints. I went home, and texted Jamie about shoveling the snow at the company house. Then I made a salad,. I heated some beef and minced some pickled garlic. I read e-mail until TV time.

I worked on my blog, then made tea. We watched several episodes of Jeannie. Then I spent almost an hour creating files and sorting all the pics from the sewing videos. Chris went to bed not long after TV time, and I stayed up to catch up on Telegram messages. I neither know nor want to know how late I went to bed.

Annnnnd, we're done with cats

Friday

I got up after 8. I brushed and swished. I tried on my dress for the 'awards ceremony' (because we can't have a ball). It seemed to fit. I watered the plants. I read e-mail for a while, then went to the apartment to clean.

It was cold and I turned on the heat. I brought back the little black rectangle that I thought was a timer, but it tells the time and temp inside and out. At my house, there was no outside temp showing, but at the apartment, there was. So somewhere there is a sensor, but I couldn't find it.

I spent an hour on walls and the blinds. Then I went home to ask Chris about the cats. He said they needed feeding. But when I got to the colonel's house, I could see someone had been there. I called Chris and he said to feed the cats, so I went in. There was no one there, and no cats. So I guess we're done with that.

I went home, then made and ate breakfast while reading e-mail and watching sewing videos. I made notes by taking pics. Around 2, we went to Tooele for the usual stuff. I went to Melanie's and spent some time talking to the ladies there. We got groceries and headed home. On the way, we listened to the book on CD. It was a continuation of a book from several books ago.

We stopped at the post office, then went home and put the food away and made supper. I had beef, pickled garlic and a salad. I continued watching sewing videos. Michelle started texting me, offering to let me come over and play the Rubik's game. So after finished my blog post, I kissed Chris and left.

It was close to single digits outside. When I arrived, the game was already on TV. I had brought the solution as a pic on my phone. Michelle helped me apply the text to the location of balls on the screen. And like magic, all the balls rolled to the exit. Beautiful!

So I played for several hours. Both Michelle and Casey joined in making suggestions. My watch lost time, and I was surprised to find it was after 11. Yikes! So I said my goodbyes, and headed home. I think it was 8 degrees out. Brr!

When I got home, Chris was just finishing up a movie on his laptop. I got ready for bed. He opened the cabinet doors under all the sinks to prevent freezing. I turned off the router and did my yoga stretches. Then I slipped into bed and settled in for sleep.

Puzzles over games

Thursday

I got up around 8, thinking it was earlier. It was snowing, again. I brushed and swished. I scrubbed at the turmeric stains in my shirt, hoping they would come out easily. Then I left it to soak. I looked at fleece hat videos, trying to decide what to do with the fleece strips that weren't big enough. I had finally decided and was making the sample hat when Jenni texted about going to the swap shop. I didn't have time to take her, so I lent her the keys. I finished the hat, and Terri called. I chatted with her about getting the three of us together for scripture study.

Jenni came back with the keys, and I had her put on the hat so I could take its picture. After she left, there was no time to post the pic. I went up the hill to feed the cats. I did not have time to stay and play. I went to the apartment and started cleaning. Jamie came by with her vacuum. She moved the bed and the desk so I could sweep behind them. The layer of dust under the bed was opaque!

She left, and I vacuumed. I also ran the duster over the ceilings, walls and baseboards. Then I wiped the blinds in one room. Then it was noon so I went home. It was still snowing. After parking in the driveway, I put the windshield cover on.

I put on The Highwire, and made and ate breakfast. Chris came home late for lunch, and let me know that the base was closing early because of the snow. I finished The Highwire. And Chris went back to work. I finally remembered to post an announcement for the class to the Facebook page.

Jamie needed her vacuum back, so we met at the apartment. We moved the bed and desk back into place. Then we chatted and she left. I stayed to clean. I thumbtacked a wet washcloth to the wall to soften the yellow grease spots. Then I went to the gym to walk with Michelle. We talked the whole time, and afterward, standing in the snowy parking lot. She said she'd help me organized a Dugway Spa Day.

I went back to the apartment to check on the washcloth. I took it down and scrubbed the wall, but the spots did not come off. I cleaned the heating unit and then went home. Chris was already home, having closed the base early. He asked about going to Game Night. I worked on my blog and ate goat cheese. I made a salad.

When I finished eating, we went to the Community Club for Game Night. Unlike the other game night, there was only one game: Bunco. Not really my cup of tea. And since they got enough people to play Bunco, I went looking for a puzzle. The smallest one was 350 pieces and round. So while Chris played Bunco, I pieced the puzzle and talked to Jerry. We talked mostly about TV series we have watched. We've seen a lot of the same ones.

The Bunco game ended and people either went home or to the bar. Chris went to the bar. Then the karaoke started. People who have been drinking think they can sing. But then, Chris, who had not been drinkning, started singing. I won't say what I thought of it. Jerry suggested a pizza box to put the puzzle in since there was no way I was going to finish it anytime soon. It worked nicely. Then I gave Ravonna her present, and we went home.

It was snowing and Chris had to scrape the windshield so we could drive home. He said we night not be going to Tooele tomorrow. When we got in, I worked on my blog and he resumed some movie he was watching on his laptop.

How to take over the world

Wednesday

I got up about 7:40. I prepared for coffee morning. I took some time to water the plants and refresh the water for cuttings. I threw out the mushroom experiment because it didn't seem to be growing what I wanted. I also rinsed and dried off the change from the dirty house. CJ stopped by with two dozen eggs. And the man called to tell me when his final inspection would be next week.

While meditating, I heard Chris come home for lunch. I cleaned the bathrooms and then the kitchen. I gave him all the egg cartons so he could take them back to CJ. I vacuumed and mopped the floors. I took a shower. I put a carton of eggs in my car for Michelle. I went up the hill to feed the cats.

I went home to check e-mail. Then I went to the gym to meet Michelle. But she had a last minute meeting, so I worked out instead. Then Diane came just after 4 and we walked the track for over a mile. Then Michelle came by. So we discussed her meeting. I gave her the eggs and the milk jar.

When I got home, it was after 5. I listened to Mary and Polly discuss current news. Chris came home for supper. I finished the podcast from last night. I went on to one on gut health. When the clock struck 8, I started on my blog and Michelle came by to pay me for the eggs and goat cheese.

I made tea and we watched episodes of Jeannie, now from season 5. Chris went to bed. I stayed up to read e-mail. I watched An Early Warning Cartoon: How to take over the world (1930). It was short, but seemed oddly familiar. Then I did my evening stretches, and went to bed.

Quilt Guild

Tuesday

I brushed and swished. I watered a few plants. I put the cleaning contracts in order by date and set aside some blank ones for the next signing. I counted the change found at the dirty house: $10.71, and that was just my half. It was pretty filthy.

I read e-mail, then put on an interview while I cheesed the goat milk. I put some in Michelle's container and kept some for me. I made and ate breakfast. I grated the red off of a pomegranate and ate the arils. Chris came home from work and reminded me about the cats. I resisted going out because of all the snow and cold weather. He also brought a dozen eggs which were for Ravonna but she didn't want more eggs.

After 2, I went up the hill to feed the cats, rake their litter boxes, and play with them. Then I headed to the apartment. I cleaned for about an hour, noting a few things I wished I had brought. Then I went to the gym to meet Michelle. I gave her the goat cheese. We walked the track. Jenni joined us and told us all about her experiences at school.

When I got home, I pulled out some beef for supper. I sat down at my laptop to get on Zoom for the quilt guild meeting. For the program, the program person had breakout rooms where we discussed in small groups our goals for the year. She popped in and out to monitor what was being said. Then we got back together as a group, finished the meeting, had sew-n-tell, then chit chat until people had to go. It took almost 2 hours.

I made a salad, then Chris came in the kitchen to have a heart-to-heart. That lasted over an hour. Finally I got to sit down and write my blog post. I made tea and we watched Jeannie.

Then Chris and I went back to our laptops. Later he went to bed. I listened to part of a podcast, but it went late. I dumped the change in a tub with water and a bit of ammonia to soak overnight. Then I went to bed as well.

We are a two-car family again

Monday

I got up just before 8:30. I had gone to bed feeling nauseous, but woke up feeling fine. I drank hydrogen water, then brushed and swished. I read e-mail. Chris reminded me of the cats, so I dug out my car (it snowed overnight) and went up the hill. The cats were glad to see me. One set of cat dishes still had food so I wondered if that cat was feeling well. Also, one of the litter boxes had very little to scoop. Hmm. But no throw-up anywhere.

When I got back, I took a supplement, then read e-mail and Telegram messages. I made and ate breakfast. I kept reading messages and articles. I watched sewing videos looking for a good class project. It made me sleepy so I sat in the lounger and fell asleep, woke up and read from a book, then fell asleep again.

I heard Chris answer a phone call. I guessed that it was from the colonel. Then I realized it was 3:30. I jumped up and put on my coat and headed to the gym. Diane and Michelle were there waiting for Dispatch to unlock the door. Michelle gave each of us a tupperware container with a piece of cashew cheese cake (non-dairy). We put ours in our car. Then the guy unlocked the door so we went in and walked the track. Diane was so excited about her upcoming trip to Israel and told us all about it.

After 4 we quit and I went home to meet Chris. We got in my car and headed to Tooele. But he decided the pass was too dangerous so he turned around and we went to I-80. We listened to a CD on my little CD player. Precipitation was making everything slick. When we got to the dealership, Chris told me I could go home, but I told him I was going through the pass because it was the only way I knew. So he had me wait until he paid for his car (over $1000), then I followed him home the other way.

Once we made the last turn before Dugway, I pulled over to put new batteries in my CD player. Chris came back to see what was wrong, but I told him to go ahead, that I knew the way from here. So he did. And I never caught up with him. I ran into someone going below the speed limit and was stuck from then on. Visibility wasn't good enough to allow for passing.

However, when I finally got through the gate, the guard told me he had stopped Chris for a random security check. Ha, ha. So I got to the house not long after he did. He pulled a roast out of the oven. We ate that, and I made a salad. Then I ate the 'cheesecake' made of cashews and gave Chris a bite. It was quite good. I watched more scrappy sewing videos as I ate. Then I worked on my blog post.

I heated tea. We watched several episodes of Jeannie. Chris went to bed right after that. I stayed up to listen to a podcast.

"No chaplain" does not equal "no church"

Sunday

I woke up in the middle of the night hearing Chris retching in the bathroom. I tried to go back to sleep but then RLS kicked in. I didn't recognize it right away. So it was a while before I got up and drank some tonic water. And it was gone!

We slept late. I was surprised to see it was nearly 10:30 when I got up. I drank hydrogen water and saved a little to brush my teeth with. Chris said he thought it was the turkey that bothered him, even though he said it smelled and tasted fine.

Women should fast during the estrogen phase of their cycle, not the progesterone phase. Fasted snack: full fat (if it doesn't raise your blood sugar) like avocado, nut butter. Break the fast with protein to build muscle.

I worked on my blog which I had written yesterday but forgot to post. I posted, amid texts from Michelle and Saronna trying to put together a service for today. There was no announcement from SGT King but he had told Michelle days ago that there would not be a chaplain this week. Saronna agreed to say a few words.

I made and ate breakfast while finishing a podcast. Chris was not feeling well and did not play his afternoon game. I put some seed crackers in a container. I got dressed for church, took my trombone and drove to the chapel. Michelle was already inside, playing the piano. We talked until Saronna and Isadora came in. Then the four of us talked.

For the service, Isodora said the prayer. Michelle played piano to my trombone for a hymn. Then Saronna read a scripture and talked about her experiences. We played another hymn and I said the closing prayer. Then we sat around and talked until almost 2, agreeing to do this again each time there is no chaplain available.

I went home and brought my trombone inside. Chris reminded me of the cats, so I went up the hill to feed them and take care of their other needs. They had not finished their wet food. I threw out the unfinished part and gave them the usual quarter of a can. I noted the flavor and resolved not to give them that one again. When I got home, I changed my clothes. I snacked while reading e-mail. Then I ate the last of the beef. Chris signed into the game, then Becca did. So I did, and we waited for the others.

When the game started, we were in the middle of a fight with animated skeletons and a stirge, which was sucking blood from Vaunea (Michele). Berian (James) was on the floor, like in a coma with ghostly chains around his legs. We fought and eventually I was able to trap the ghost holding Berian. The stirge would not die, even though we each attacked it over and over. Finally it limped away. Then we prepared to bed down for the night and recoup our powers.

I worked on my blog post, making notes for today and posting for Saturday. I listened to a podcast while checking e-mail. Then I made tea and we watched episodes of Jeannie, still season 4. Afterward, Chris went to bed and I stayed up to catch up on e-mail.

Seed crackers and the game

Saturday

I got up around 8. I threw out the biffido ferment. I washed the Berkey filter unit. It had what looked like green sludge on the filter, but when I wiped it off, it made the paper towel red.

I started checking e-mail. Michelle came over with a jar of goat milk. I paid her $5. After she left, Chris gave me a coconut oil massage. I rested for some time while he took a shower and got dressed. Then I took my shower and he started the laundry.

I made and ate breakfast while looking at e-mail. Then I went up the hill to feed the cats. But when I got there, I did not have the key. I called Chris but he said they were not on the table. So I went to the apt I signed for to see if they were there. They were not, but I took a few minutes to clean the handheld vacuum. When I got home, I found the key on the floor. I went back to the colonel's house. CSM's husband was carrying the colonel's Amazon package to the garage. I went inside to feed the cats. Kitty chow, kitty crap, then kitty cuddles. And then I went home.

On the way, Michelle texted me and we talked about meeting up. I worked on my blog. I pulled out frozen eggs to thaw while I listened to a video called Anedotals. It was about people who got the shots and experienced adverse events. But they are dismissed, ridiculed, shamed, gas lit, diagnosed as mentally ill, and refused financial help with medical bills. Those enrolled in the pharma studies who were too injured from the first shot to take the second one, were dropped from the studies and their adverse events went uncounted and uninvestigated.

I put the eggs in the Magic Bullet to blend. But it leaked a little and made a mess. I cleaned it up and made a batch of seed cracker dough. I spread it in a pan and baked it for an hour.

When they were done, I turned the oven off and left them in to crisp up. I went to Michelle's house to play the game with the balls on a chess-like board. Her husband had it all set up. But first she wanted to talk about Chris needing new suits, shirts, and ties.

And then we played the game. I thought I had the solution on my phone, but it didn't match. I gave up on #7, and did well on others. Casey got one and Michelle played a different game on her phone.

At 10:30, I solved a particularly tough one and called it quits. I thanked them and said farewell. I went home, where Chris was waiting for me. He and I dressed the bed with clean sheets. I put away my laundry. He went to bed and I stayed up to read e-mail, then headed off to bed myself.

Getting the car to town

Friday

I got up before 8. Chris was already gone, driving to Tooele to the car dealership. I brushed and swished. I watered the plants. Chris texted that his car had overheated going into the pass and he had called a tow truck. He asked if I could bring a heavy coat and gloves. So I put that in the car and also my CD player with extra batteries. I worked on the grocery list and packed the cooler. I turned the car on and scraped the ice from my windshield. Finally I headed out.

I drove to the pass and entered it, not seeing Chris. But as I got close to the middle, I caught sight of a tow truck with a white Chevy on top. I pulled off at the top parking lot to start my CD player, but discovered that the cord to the console was missing. Sigh. I pulled back on the road, and followed the tow truck into Tooele.

I waved at Chris as I passed the tow truck, then pulled into the Luckey's parking lot. I was half an hour early for the appointment. So I shopped at Luckey's, put the groceries in the car, then went to the GPS store. I had to wait in line, then told the lady what I wanted. She got her stamp and we went to a table where she watched me sign and then she signed. She got witnesses to sign. Then she gave me a packet with a plastic envelop on it to hold the Fedex label. I paid her the $20 and went to Luckey's to drop it off at their customer service desk.

I shopped at Melanies. They did not have the 5 gallon coconut oil. But I found other things to buy. Chris was at the dealership and had no word on his car. So then I went to Macey's, then to the dollar store. I shopped like a woman, taking my time to look at whatever caught my eye. I got a cord for my CD player.

I called Chris and he said come pick him up. So I drove to the dealership. He wanted me to come in to meet a family from Tonga, which is one of the nations that Marie is ambassador to. They were very impressed with him. I spoke with them, making small talk about weather and gardening. Then we left and Chris drove us home. I plugged in the CD player and we listened to old music all the way.

We went home and unloaded groceries. I put them away while Chris took my car to get gas, go to the commissary, and to the office for his sit-rep. When he got back, I had eaten breakfast and was listening to someone who published content on Howtube.com.

After little while, I took the car to go feed the cats. I also dropped some cleaning supplies at the new apartment so I can walk there while Chris is at work. I went to the garden to look for a terracotta pot, but did not find one. When I got back, I combed through e-mail and listened to podcasts. I fell asleep while Chris cooked two steaks. When I woke up, I tried them both and one was much better than the other. I think the one was freezer-burnt.

I kept reading e-mail. Michelle texted with me from the gym. I worked on my blog. I ordered sheets and towels from MyPillow. I had a hard time finding the size tag on the guest bed mattress.

I heated tea and we watched several episodes of Jeannie. I fell asleep on the couch. Later, I woke up and headed to my laptop to check a few last messages and go to bed. But sleep was hard to get.

Missed the notary by that much

Thursday

I got up around 7, couldn't sleep. I did the usual, then read a bit of e-mail before grabbing a cleaning contract and envelop and going to apt 212. The inspectors were already there, taking pics. I filled out the contract and got people to sign. Pictures were taken of the cash, then I put it in an envelop with the key. I locked up after everyone left.

I went to the library to drop off a book on CD and to pick up the next (and last) season of Jeannie. I gave Melissa a solar keychain. Then I went to the post office to talk to the post master about the chaplain's mail. He put a vacation hold on it until they get a forwarding address. I turned in the mail from yesterday and the keys. I went home and texted to the chaplain about the postmaster's instructions.

I put cleaning rags in the washer. The maintenance people came to replace batteries in the smoke detectors and check the appliances. The man fixed the door to the garage and the back sink stopper. We chatted about the gov't wanting to ban gas stoves. He agreed to call me when he went to the Mommy and Me room to do maintenance so I could come and wipe the fingerprints off of the door. He went walking around the outside of the house, then came back to tell me the water heater was leaking and they would replace it. Sigh.

I put the cleaning rags in the dryer and put my coat and microfiber cloths in the washer. I listened to Ruby's podcast and Polly and Mary. Then I started making breakfast and put on The Highwire. I snacked as it ran. I put the coat and stuff in the dryer. I went through my blo posts to see how many hours I spent on the dirty house. Around 31.

I went to feed the cats. Then on the way back, I stopped at the not-so-dirty house to pull the empty trash cans into the garage. I texted Michelle from there and went to the gym to meet her. We walked the track for almost an hour while she talked.

It was 4:30 when I headed home. I put a bowl with the last of the turkey soup in the toaster oven. I put some things for Revonna in my purse and went to headquarters. But she wasn't there because Chris gave everybody 59 minutes off. (No one gave ME 59 minutes off). Chris and Brian were talking on their way out. I told them my idea for posting poll questions to the Dugway page, and then using the info for a Family Feud-type game at either Game Night or at the Townhall.

Chris went to the club for his weekly pizza and I went home to rescue my bowl of soup. After eating, I took a few trinkets and went to the swap shop. I talked to Tonja who was having a slow night. We talked about future sewing projects that would require people to get a clothing item from the swap shop to upcycle.

At 7 she closed the shop and we went home. I told Chris about the maintenance visit today. I ate an avocado and watched a podcast. I worked on my blog. I made tea and we watched Jeannie. Chris went to bed and I stayed up to read the documents that needed to be notarized. I looked up notaries in Tooele. I was surprised to see online notarizing - not cheap. There was a UPS store by Melanie's that would notarize it and send it if necessary. I was able to make an appointment online, even at midnight. Then I went to bed.

Two successful inspections

Wednesday

I used my mp3 headphones to fall asleep. I slept pretty well, and got up about 8. I brushed and swished. I made coffee and did the whole detox routine. I tapped and meditated. Then I cleaned the bathrooms and washed dishes in the kitchen. The creepy guy called and said he had the cleaning money for me. I asked if he had made an appointment with Housing and he said no. I told him to call me back when he had an appointment for the official sign-over.

Chris came home briefly for lunch. I took a shower and got dressed. I looked for something on the computer, then had to get ready for two final inspections. First I went to the dirty house. I was early but the inspectors usually are, too. One was there taking pics outside. Then the others arrived. One pulled the stove out and we saw mice dirt and white fluffy stuff. It wasn't there when I cleaned behind it. So I guess the mice are still active. I cleaned that and a window track. Mostly they were very impressed with the condition of the house. One asked how long cleaning took and I said we hadn't figured it out yet.

So then I went up the hill to the chaplain's house to meet Jamie. She'd gone ahead to look for spots I missed last night (cause the house is so poorly lit at night. And it was creepy, too). We talked for a bit until the inspectors arrived. Then we hung around in case they found anything. But they didn't.

I went to the colonel's house to feed the cats. Then I headed to Housing to turn in the keys, but got a text from Diane about walking. I had totally forgotten. So I went home and got the mail keys and Jamie's portion of the money. Then I met Diane and Michelle at the gym. We walked outside since it was unseasonably warm. I stayed to workout with Michelle. She had me use a different set of machines and I got sore.

Then I went up the hill to check the chaplain's mail. There was a lot of it and I wondered if he had left a forwarding notice. I drove to Jamie's house and gave her her money. Then I went to Housing and handed in the keys for the chaplain and for the dirty house. From there, I went to Saronna's house to pick up a small container of slide oil that fell out of my case yesterday.

Finally I went home. There were more places to go, but I was tired. I texted the chaplain's wife. Chris came home while I vacuumed the den. I put the dishes away from earlier. I read e-mail and checked out a sale online. I went through my Telegram messages while listening to a podcast on Cardio Miracle.

I worked on my blog. I made tea and we watched several episodes of Jeannie season 4. Afterward, Chris went to bed, like around 10:30. I stayed up later.

Preparing for inspection

Tuesday

I got up about 8:30. After the usual 4 things, I listened to part of a podcast. I took a series of supplements for detoxification. Then I went up the hill to feed the colonel's cats. I checked on the chaplain's front door and it seemed stable.

Then I met Jamie at the not-so-dirty house. I mopped while she cleaned the garage and picked trash out of the yard. Then she left for my house. I finished mopping and followed her. At my house, she unloaded some white boards that the man left behind. Kind of like melamine shelving. Then she took the rest to the swap shop. I made and ate breakfast. I read e-mail for a little bit and all of a sudden it was 2pm. I grabbed my trombone and headed to Saronna's house. She and I talked mostly, and played a jazzy version of When the Saints go Marching In. Then her timer rang for picking the kids up from school. I went to the not-so-dirty house and got my mop. I found a few spots to scrub and soon I had to leave for the gym.

When I got there, Michelle and Diane were already walking the upstairs track. I ran up to join them. We walked until Diane had to go back to work, then Michelle and I walked some more. Finally I quit to meet Jamie at the chaplain's house. Only she wasn't there. It started raining. I called Jamie and she said she would come if I needed her. Then Michelle showed up with my stepladder. She came in with me to inspect the house. She talked as I found spots on walls to scrub. I found dirt in the screen door window but could not figure out how to get at it.

Eventually she went home to her family. I thought I was almost finished, but then realized the utility room hadn't been touched. So I scrubbed the shelves, walls and floors. I swept and mopped. I scrubbed the sink.

I noticed that it was after 6 and the community meeting had started. So I drove to the community club. By then the rain had turned to sleet and my head was wet when I walked in. I found a seat behind Chris. It was hard to hear Charity talking, but I cupped my hand behind my ear and caught most of the meeting.

It started breaking up after 7. I handed out all the little lip balms I had with me, resolving to get more from home. I talked to a few people about ways of getting rid of gophers. The new couple told me they bought a new sewing machine.

I headed out in the sleet and drove home. I put a bowl of turkey soup in the toaster oven and set it for 20 minutes. I ate carrots and a tiny orange. Then Tonja came over with her barber kit. She cut Chris' hair first and I discovered through their conversation that the party on Thursday had been postponed. Sigh. Then she cut my hair. And it was a relief. We chatted as she cut, and afterward. Then I swept up and she went home.

Chris pulled my steaming bowl of soup from the toaster oven. It was too hot to eat so I put some cool tea in it. After eating, I worked on my blog, then heated the rest of the tea. We watched several episodes of Jeannie. After that, I got on my laptop. He kissed me goodnight and went to bed. Then around 11:30, I hit the hay.

Rescuing stuff for the swap shop

Monday

I got up at 8, then went back to bed until 8:30. I listened to a podcaster while putting dishes in the sink to soak. I turned on my phone. I took supplements on a schedule. I watered the plants.

I read e-mail and telegram messages until Jamie came over with shelving that goes with the cinder blocks. Then we went to the swap shop to drop off some stuff. From there, we went to the landfill to find stuff we heard got thrown out. We rescued a couch, a table, a shelving unit and some plastic totes. She dropped me off and went home for lunch. I made and ate breakfast.

I went up the hill to feed the colonel's cats, then went to the dirty house. Jamie was there washing the over-the-door shelving. We divided up the stuff left behind and designated some for the swap shop. I loaded up my car and went to the swap shop. Jamie picked up her son and met me over there. The two of them unloaded the furniture while I wiped the dust and dirt off.

She went home and I got a drink then went to the gym. Only Michelle came so we walked around the track over half an hour, talking. Then I texted Saronna and went home. I had started eating leftover turkey when she texted back. I bundled up and went to pick up her daughter and brought her back here. We worked on chapter 6 in her book. She said she had to hand in the answers. But we didn't finish. I took her home at 6.

Chris came home from work while I was tutoring. He made himself a bowl of soup. I did not feel good after eating the turkey, so I took some digestive enzymes and some activated charcoal. I read articles on my laptop until my stomach settled down. Then I ate some salad and avocado dip. I covered my windshield.

Faye called and talked about the Florida sale, then had questions about the dirty house. I hung up with her and Michelle called. She wanted to give me the opener to the chaplain's house. I told her she could do it tomorrow, but she said she was right outside my house. She told me about the doors on the chaplain's house not staying closed. Then she went home.

I worked on my blog, made tea and we watched Jeannie. I stayed up to listen to a podcast and Chris went to bed.

Our own version of church

Sunday

I didn't sleep well, but I don't know why. I don't know when I got up. I did the usual, then went to make cheese squares. But I only had one egg. I asked Chris for his eggs and he said they were hardboiled. So I sat at my laptop to find out the conversion rate for freeze-dried eggs. Then I remembered that there were frozen eggs in the freezer, so I got out a package to thaw.

I was listening to a podcast when suddenly it hit me that I had not fed the colonel's cats. So I quickly dressed, and drove up the hill. I found the cats doing well, though their wet food was gone and the dry food and water were diminished. I rectified that and scooped the litter. Then I played with them for a few minutes before leaving.

I stopped by the dirty house to check it out. I met Arzu and said hello. Her dog sniffed me. Then I went home. I resumed the podcast. I got a text that church was canceled. I took a bunch of enzymes and set the timer (after replacing the battery). The eggs were thawed, so I beat them and made cheese squares. While they baked, I made breakfast. Michelle texted about having our own version of church.

After breakfast, I took cheese squares out, but they were too hot to pack up. I got dressed and went to the chapel. No one was there, so I played two hymns on the piano. Michelle came with her husband, then Saronna's daughter and later Saronna. Michelle said a prayer, and her husband said a few words, like a thought for the day. Saronna and I played again. We had a discussion, then went home.

I read e-mail all afternoon, then had a bowl of soup. I joined the online Damour roleplaying game. We played for three hours, investigating rooms at the prison and getting attacked by undead skeletons.

It was after 8 when we all signed off. I read e-mail briefly, then worked on my blog. I made tea, and watched several episodes of Jeannie. Then I watched videos on my laptop on how to calculate square roots by hand. It seemed like a convoluted process. I went to bed still thinking about it.

Another big sewing class

Saturday

I got up after 8, then did the usual readiness routine. I whipped up a batch of seed crackers, refilled some mixes, and made two weeks worth of supplement doses. After that, Chris offered me a coconut oil massage and I accepted. Then he took a shower and I followed with one of my own.

I got dressed and worked on breakfast. I ate while reading e-mail and listening to an interview with a special forces guy working at the border. He said it is dangerous, both for citizens and for the border crossers.

I got the fleece fabrics together and packed up my sewing machines. I grabbed an empty case for one machine and found out that there was already a machine in there! I don't know where it came from, but I took it to class. Chris loaded them in the car, and unloaded them at the chapel. When we got to the fellowship hall, it was full of the decorations from the sanctuary. He helped me clear space for the sewing class, then walked home.

Tonja came and helped me set up. Two ladies came with their kids, and Saronna's daughters came. Also Michelle's daughter and Jenni. I drew the instructions on the white board. Then I helped people cut their fleece strips to make scarves. Isadora didn't want a scarf so I had her make the hat. Then she decided to make a scarf for her dog. Sigh. After everyone was done, I tried tying knots in each fringe strip and I liked it. Then I wished I had had the kids tie theirs in knots.

As usual, too much time was taken in re-threading machines. I think they need a block of instruction on how to cut thread. But nothing broke. A few seams had to be redone because the person sewed with the presser foot up. Sigh. So much wasted thread.

And then Jenni and Tonja helped me pack up and carry the machines to my car. I locked the chapel and we all went home. Chris was cooking turkey soup, so I had a bowl of that. I also ate some nuts and muffins and blueberries. I read e-mail until time to write my blog entry.

I made tea and we watched a DVD from Netflix called Free Guy. It was amazing! We both loved it. Chris probably got more of the gaming references than I did. But we both agreed it was awesome!

We made the bed with the sheets Chris washed today. He went to bed, and I bedded down later.

The Community comes together to clean

Friday

I got up after 8. Chris was already up. I drank hydrogen water, then brushed and swished. I washed up and got dressed. I read e-mail.

I went up to the colonel's house and fed the cats. I walked over to the chaplain's house where men were moving boxes onto a truck. I greeted him, asking if there was anything I could do. The mover heard me and suggested I move some heavy furniture to the truck. Ha! Bryan gave me the house keys, and we chatted. Around noon, I went home.

Chris was gone, probably to the office for a meeting. I made and ate breakfast. I read e-mail. Chris came back around 2 and we talked about going to the commissary. I added to the list and we went. We stopped at the post office for mail, then went to his office. I sat impatiently while he booted up his computer and did a bunch of typing.

We finally got to the grocery store. We shopped for the usual things, but the commissary doesn't have them all, which is why we usually go to Tooele. But driving conditions were not good today.

We went home. Chris put the food away while I opened the mail. Then I grabbed a mop, broom, and stepstool. I went to the chaplain's house where the movers were still clearing the house. But now a bunch of community members were there, cleaning. And their kids, mostly playing with the therapy dog. Michelle led me around, showing me what had been done and asking my opinion on what had been done. Eventually I picked up a cloth and sponge and cleaned what others had missed.

The movers finished and the chaplain said goodbye and headed to town. He left a lot of cleaners behind and the community let me have first dibs before they took what they wanted. The rest went to the police or the guards.

After a while, the people with kids went home. Ah! Then I worked on the halfbath and utility room while two ladies vacuumed. I quit in time to go home by 6, leaving them to lock up. Chris had leftover turkey in the oven, which he pulled out for me. I ate some turkey and made a salad. I finished a podcast, then worked on my blog.

I made tea and we watched several episodes from season 4 of I Dream of Jeannie. We read e-mail afterward, then Chris went to bed. I stayed up a little later before I retired for the evening.

** I keep hoping we will hear that the shots aren't as bad as some people thought they would be. But the new info comes out, it only gets worse. **

The Reber Genealogy

Thursday

I got up before 8. I drank hydrogen water, then brushed and swished. I looked at fleece scarf videos. I wanted something with at least a little bit of sewing, but only one layer. Nope.

I made a sample and posted it to the Dugway page to advertise the class. Then I read e-mail for a bit. Michelle called. She was cleaning the chaplain's house. I called Housing to find out when the mold inspection for my house was and he said between 1 and 2.

I made and ate breakfast while watching The Highwire. I paused it when the doorbell rang. The inspector looked under the sinks and in the tubs, but found no mold. He had a list of questions he had to ask. One was do we have a basement? I said no but the gophers are working on it.

I watched a little more of The Highwire, then went to the Housing office to sign the paperwork to transfer the chaplain's house to me. But no one had the keys. I went up the hill. No one was at the chaplain's house so I went to the colonel's house and fed the cats. I walked through the chaplain's house and noticed the oven cleaning cycle was on. I looked through cabinets and drawers to see if anything got missed, like the spices in the kitchen.

I went home, stopping at the post office, and then called Michelle. She had gone home. Then Mickie called me about the swap shop. Then I went to the gym to walk with Diane and Michelle. Afterward, I went home for ammonia, then to the chaplain's house. I filled the tubs with hot water and poured in the stuff. I shut the doors and started cleaning the kitchen. Michelle showed up and cleaned with me. And we talked.

Finally I went home. Chris heated up some soup for me. He showed me a geneology chart that the LDS church printed for him today on some tour he took. He also had a Damour chart, but it was missing a lot of names. I opened the package from the mail, it was another foot pedal. I tested it to make sure it works.

Then I listened to the rest of The Highwire. Michael Yon talked about the coming famine. Faye chatted by Facebook. I worked on my blog post.

I made tea, covered my car, we watched the last episode of Ancient Apocalypse where he posits the theory that near the end of the last ice age, the Earth was hit by a series of debris from a comet and that produced great floods and ash. An advanced society here was destroyed. Then we watched an episode of Wednesday. That was better than I thought. I stayed up to finish The Highwire and Chris went to bed.

Preparing for inspection

Wednesday

I got up before 8. I turned on the CD player and made coffee. I did my exercise routine, drybrushed and rebounded. Then I did several rounds of meditation and tapping. Chris came home early for lunch. After he left, I cleaned the bathrooms and the kitchen.

I boxed up a lot of the supplements and stuff because a team is going around to each house to look for mold, like in kitchens and bathrooms. So I made a point of boxing everything under the sinks so it can be easily pulled out and put back.

I watered all the plants and changed the water for things that are rooting. I listened to an interview with Dr. Kheriaty. He said some of the same arguments used in Nazi Germany to justify the things they did are being used again today and he finds that very concerning.

I took a shower and Jamie came over with the cinder blocks from the very dirty house. We stacked them in the garage. Then I went to the gym to walk with Jennie. She had a stye and said her face was puffy yesterday. Yikes!

I went home to vacuum and mop and to try to clean the laundry room. There was dried soap on the floor, so I cleaned as far back as I could, but my arm was not long enough to get it all.

Finally I sat down to check e-mail. My January goal is always to unsubscribe from at least one thing a day to cut down on all the e-mail I get. Someone posted to Facebook that there was ice in front of the mailboxes on their street. I wondered why they didn't just throw some salt down.

I was waiting for Jamie to call me back so we could finish getting stuff out of the no-longer-dirty house. When I heard the text, I drove over there. We looked at the stuff in the garage, not sure what to do with it. But it was getting dark and my brain wasn't working its best. We scrubbed a whiteboard to get all the writing off. I scrubbed the countertops where we had had cleaners. But we really didn't get anything done. So we went home.

I parked and covered my windshield. I met Chris leaving to go to the colonel's house. I wanted to get salt and spread it on the ice, but then didn't want to uncover the car again. So I told myself I would do it in the morning. I checked e-mail and listened to a video while testing pens from the dirty house. Almost all of them worked. Then I tested the batteries. The multimeter said they were dead, but the simpler tester gave me a green light on most of them. Then Chris came back and said the colonel wants me to feed the cats for a week starting tomorrow. Will I remember?

I worked on my blog posts for yesterday and today. I heated green tea, and took megnesium. I practiced my trombone, then we watched two episodes of Ancient Apocalypse. Each archaeological site had ties to astronomical events. So his theory is that a comet hit the Earth and started the ice age, wiping out some advanced society. Then he went to bed and I stayed up for an hour or more.

Senate hearing on covid vaccines

Tuesday

I got up after the 7:35 alarm. I drank hydrogen water and brushed. I read e-mail, then started listening to the Senate hearing on covid vaccines.

At 10 I paused it and went to the dirty house. But when I got inside the garage, the door to the house was locked. It made no sense. I went home to get the key. I stopped at Housing to ask about signing for the chaplain's house. Jamie texted me about the locked door. Instead of responding, I drove over there and unlocked it. Neither of us knew how it got locked.

We both worked on the utility room because everything else was done. The head of Housing called me about the chaplain's house. After two hours of cleaning, I headed home for breakfast. I stopped by Housing to set up appointments for final inspections.

There was a large pile of boxes on my chair, signifying that Chris had been home. I made and ate breakfast. Chris came back, apparently not having had lunch earlier.

At 2, I hunted down my dad's copy of Winter Wonderland. I took the other Christmas book and trombone and went to Saronna's house. She had a child home sick. But we still talked and played Winter Wonderland and Let it Snow. Seemed appropriate given all the snow lying around.

At three she had to walk to the school to pick up her other two kids. I went to the library to return the books that John checked out. Melissa showed me their new carpet, which is why they were closed for a month. I didn't care for it, but it was ok. I checked out the next season of Jeannie.

Then I went to the gym and waited a few minutes for Diane. No one else came so we walked the track and talked by ourselves. She said the carpet wasn't finished yet and the installers were nowhere to be found.

When I got home. I finished listening to the senate hearing. I ate fruit, and created invoices for November and December for cleaning the company house. Chris came home from work and heated a bowl of soup for me. I read e-mail and wrote my blog post.

I made tea and we watched three episodes of Ancient Apocalypse. Then Chris went to bed and I stayed up to listen to a prepper interview.
