Stormy skies

After Chris left, I moved to the bottom of the bed. Then my phone alarm went off. I stayed in bed a little longer, but then got up to have a protein and h2 drink. I turned on the router and started a video, then paused it to go brush my teeth. I was going to water the grass in my bare feet, but when I checked, it was 53 degrees outside. It amazes me how drastically the temperature changes during the day.
I struggled with ordering another lab from my online practitioner or else finding a new practitioner since I don't feel any better. I wrote down the possibilities and then decided to cancel the test because the result wasn't worth $500. By then it was breakfast time. As I was eating breakfast, Chris came home for lunch. I stopped the audio I was listening to and chatted with him. Then I put on a video of Alex Anderson showing off examples of the last block of the month. Somehow when eating a packet of tune, I aspirated a piece. Blowing my nose didn't quite do it, so I rinsed my sinuses several time. It was a relief to get it out.
At 1:30, I went out to the shed to read. I found my glasses in the grass in front of the door. I didn't have my watch on, but it seemed longer than usual until I put the book down. I went in and listened to an interview with David Icke, then went to an interview with Aubrey Marcus. While it played, I set up my away machine in the dining room and made two masks with adjusters. Chris came home just as I finished them. He sent me a link to a short video interview that the garrison put out for others to watch on Youtube. He was awesome!
I picked dandelion and made a salad. It was windy outside, and the sky turned grey. I sanitized the masks and packed them in an envelope. Then I cleared some e-mail. I dashed outside to see if my car windows were up, and they were. I took a minute to clean up one gopher mound. The wind was blowing so hard that I brought the tomato plant inside.
I listened to another video until Chris was ready to watch TV. With my magnesium drink in hand, I watched two episodes of The Umbrella Academy with him. Then we opened two large boxes that were in the bedroom closet. But we left the unpacking for later. I wrote to my blog and got ready for bed.

Bread vs Omelet?

We slept in a little. I did not hear the morning sprinklers and, come to think of it, I did not hear them last night either. I got up to start with supplements. I brushed, swished, and took a shower. I went outside to check for gopher mounds. There was one on the side that might be technically the neighbors yard. I left it alone because the dogs were out and I didn't want them to start barking on a Sunday morning. The grass on the other side of the house did not feel wet, so I watered it.
When I came in, Chris had turned on the router. So I sat at my laptop and tried to catch up on the tapping e-mails that are accruing for the month of August. I checked periodically for the link to the Huntsville church service, but it wasn't up yet. I made and ate breakfast. We called Michele and talked with her for some time. It was a very lovely chat, but nothing on the job front.
Then we worked on the cauliflower bread. Chris put the two packages of frozen riced cauliflower in a double boiler. I called up the instructions on my laptop. We separated 10 eggs and I put them in the mixer till stiff. We used cream of tartar even though I had planned to use lemon juice instead. I put in a few ingredients while Chris crushed garlic and melted butter. Then those went in too. Because the step after beating the egg whites started with the word 'add', I added the the next things to the egg whites, but I was supposed to reserve the egg whites for later, in divided doses. Oh well. It said to line a loaf pan with parchment paper, so I did, but then the batter would not all fit in, so we got out another pan and divided the batter in half. Chris pre-heated the oven and I put the pans in to bake.
I watched the service from our church in Huntsville. Then I watched a short video of a dr, in Ireland speaking out about the lies of the gov't. I took the bread from the oven and Chris cut out a slice. It was surprisingly bread-like in texture, but more crumbly, at least when hot. Chris thought it needed cheese. 'Need' is such a strong word, but there's no going wrong with cheese. I ate a piece with some steak, and then with some cheese. Yep.
I had hurt my back earlier in the day just picking up a picture and handing it to Chris. Don't ask me why that was just the wrong thing to do, but apparently it was. I thought a walk would help, so we went for a walk. Chris picked some juniper berries off the ground and peeled the outside off to reveal the seed inside. When we got back, he planted them in a pot.
I listened to part of an episode of Exhausted. Then I went out to the shed to read. I could not find the glasses I keep in the bag with the book. So I read without them, which was harder. When I came in, I told Chris that my glasses, which I had yesterday, were gone. We looked high and low for the glasses, but could not find them.
I put a cord holder on one of my masks and it held. We put away the 'bread' and the remaining riced cauliflower. There wasn't much left of the first loaf because it was so good. We watched two episodes of The Umbrella Academy. Since we started watching early, we finished early. We were not interrupted by the sprinklers so I don't know what happened to them. I programed the Apollo for sleep, then wrote my blog post.
* With 10 eggs and 3 cups of cauliflower, it could have been an omelet. *

Socializing at the garden

Chris gave me a reason to stay in bed late. So, I truncated my supplement schedule. I brushed and swished. I looked for gopher mounds and watered the dry spots in the lawn. I watched episodes of “Exhausted”, a summit about the causes and treatments of fatigue.
Around noon I made breakfast. At 1:30 I changed out of my clothes into a bathing suit. I laid in the doorway of the shed and read for half an hour. When I went back inside to put my clothes back on, they were gone. I washed off and pulled out clean clothes. After dressing, I looked for Chris. I flattened a box and took it to the recycling bin outside. I noticed the Chris' car was gone. I figured he went to work or to the commissary. Five minutes later he arrived with groceries and a Swansons box. I unpacked the box while Chris pulled out steak, prepared it, and put it in the oven. I read e-mail, and looked up articles for a Facebook response. Chris called his parents and we had a little chat.
Around 6 Chris informed me that supper was ready. He made me round steak with onions and garlic, and quinoa. I added a my quotidian handful of nuts. After eating that, I picked dandelion and made a salad. When supper was over, we walked to the community garden. Walking around, I took pictures just for my blog readers. Then two ladies arrived and started picking vegetables in a plot. We introduced ourselves and had a conversation. They gave us a zucchini, a yellow squash, and a white squash. Since it had been a while since they picked, the veggies were quite large. Chris helped them carry the produce back to their car. Then we walked back to our place.
It was almost time for our sprinklers to come on. Chris put on the second part of the DVD called “11th Hour”. Apparently it is a TV show with Patrick Stewart and these are episodes. But there was only one left, so then we watched an episode of Umbrella Academy. After that, we dressed the bed with clean sheets. Then I sat down to write down my day, and get ready for bed.

Weekly shopping and quotidian activities

We stayed in bed late, and got up at the same time. He turned on the router while I took the first supplements. I watched part of an interview with Mantak Chia on London Real. I shortened my supplement routine to get ready to go to Tooele. I wrote some checks, then went to post office to mail them and buy stamps. While I was gone, Chris took a shower and got dressed. I filled a water bottle and packed a snack.
As Chris drove to Tooele, we listened to the next CD of the book Celebrity in Death. When we got to Luckey's, I ate part of my snack and put on the face shield that Carol sent me. It was breathable, but not comfortable because it came too close to my eyes. When I pulled it down a little, it came off my nose. Anyway, we shopped. There were no arrows on the aisles anymore. We got some of what was on the list. Then we went to Melanie's Nutrition. I bought a beet drink and tooth powder. Then we stopped at the farm stand and picked out 4 ears of corn. At Macey's, I picked up a surgical mask from the table at the front door. But the nose piece would not hold its shape around my nose. We got what was left on the grocery list, except for brain octane oil, which I will have to order. On the way home, we continued listening to the CD, then got into a heated discussion about the few mentions of its being set in the future.
We unloaded the groceries and put them away. It was about solar noon, so I laid out in the doorway of the shed for sun and reading. When I came in, we had more 'discussion'. Finally we watched a movie starring Patrick Stewart, which had something to do with cloning. Then I went outside to clean up two mounds, and treat them with castor oil mix. After that, I had a snack, and Chris started gaming online.
I called Dad and talked to him about things long past. Then I talked to Faye, who was with him. She was reading him a chapter of a book for Sunday school and it had lots of long words that seemed unnecessary to get the point across. One such word was 'quotidian'. I had to look it up. It was a fancy word meaning 'everyday, commonplace'. Ha!
After another snack, I finished my blog for yesterday and posted it. Then I took a walk to the community gardens. I checked out what was growing (kale, corn, tomatoes, squash, marigolds, zucchini, hot peppers, beans, sunflowers), and pinched a few seeds from a spent flower. I came home, and put the seeds in a pot. It occurred to me that I could go back in the morning to meet people and make friends.
I listened to more of the interview with Mantak Chia, Taoist master, channeling energy through breath, laughing, and other things I won't describe here. When Chris finished gaming (around 9:30), we sat down to watch an episode of Lucifer. For the first time, 'God' actually showed up, in the very last scene. Then I wrote to my blog, brushed my teeth, and got ready for bed.

A debate would be great

I got up at 7. I took the first supplements, then brushed and swished. I went outside to check for gopher mounds, but didn't find any. Chris had put the trash out, so I got the recycling and put it in the can. I vacuumed the house for the first time. I started with the filter of the air purifier, did the rest of the bedroom, the back hallway, parts of the sewing room, the front hallway, the livingroom and parts of the dining room. I moved a box off of the piano, and a few other things so that I could play the piano later. Then I emptied the dishwasher and vacuumed the kitchen. I moved boxes in the den and swept it as well. Then I made more chia/flax mix so I could get rid of a box in the pantry, making more room in there.
I put on an audio and made breakfast. I listened to part of Del Bigtree interviewing David Martin (featured in Plandemic) explaining how the factcheckers got it wrong. I laid outside for my daily dose of sun and reading. I finished listening to the interview where Dr. Martin refutes each factchecker claim, showing that they evidently did not read the articles they quoted in their entirety. Wouldn't it be great if these people would have debate, so we could hear all the points and counter points at once?
I was having supper when Chris came home from work. I went through more e-mail, then listened to another audio while sorting through sewing and quilting magazines. Then we watched two episodes of Lucifer, and went to bed, no blogging.

Fasting day

>I woke up on time, but stayed in bed until 8 because I was still tired. I made coffee and put on meditation music. I swished, exercised and drybrushed. I checked e-mail, then proceeded with meditation, tapping and detox. I made some bone broth and ginger tea, but I skipped breakfast. I cleaned all the utensils in the kitchen. I read more e-mail, and unsubscribed to things I don't have time to read. I read a book outside in the sun, and sweated in the shed. Then I took a shower. In the process of getting dressed, I tried on a bunch of clothing I hadn't worn in a while to find some for the discard pile. I was able to empty a box. One of the tops I pulled out was from a Korean second hand shop. Whoever wore it, had a perfume that just wouldn't quit. I soaked it in Arm n Hammer washing soda.
I watered the plants when I realized Chris hadn't come home for lunch. My phone didn't work because Atnt service was out in this area. I leveled some gopher mounds and poured castor oil mix in the tunnels. The gophers seem to be moving away from the house.
I watched a number of videos on installing window film, before I found one for curved windows. I got a small spray bottle from the laundry room and put water and dishsoap in it. I sprayed the oval window of the door and wiped it well with a microfiber cloth. Then I held up the roll of window film and realized it was not quite as wide as the window. Undaunted, I peeled the backing partway off. I pressed the top edge to the window and peeled off the rest of the backing, down to the lower edge of the window and cut it off. I also trimmed generously around the edges with scissors. I used the squeegee to get the bubbles out. Then slowly and carefully, I trimmed the edges flush with a box cutter. Not too bad. I tried to photograph it, but the camera was not seeing it as my eye did.
I wrung out the Korean top and hung it up to dry. I watched a bunch of short tapping videos, trying to catch up. It was past time for Chris to come home, but he wasn't here. I tried to skype Faye, but got a message that she was not online. I decided to skip supper.
I wanted to go to the post office to check for mail. To make the trip longer, I went up and around, then down the hill. Since Chris hadn't come home yet (6:45), I passed the post office and went to Chris' office building. His car was in the parking lot but the building was locked. I turned around and headed back to the post office. Before I got there, a car pulled up and the driver called me Good Lookin' and asked if I wanted a ride. So I accepted, and he took me to the post office, where there was no mail, at least not for me. Then he took me home. He told me he had a late meeting and then went out the front gate to see the ATnT people fixing something.
I sat at my laptop and read e-mail, then found myself watching Brad Yates and his wife, doing a live tapping session. So I stayed to watch. It went a little past 8. Chris had the TV ready so I made my magnesium drink and sat with him. It took us a long time to get through the first episode because Chris kept pausing it. The first time we had a discussion about Spanish looks vs Latin-American looks. Then he heard his phone alarm and got up to kill the boss and then to make himself a mexican drink. So I got up and did a few things myself. Then we finished that episode and he got up again. When he came back, we watched the second episode - or at least I did. His eyes were shut most of the time.
Afterward, I sat down to write my blog post and get ready for bed.

Raising the bar

Hot flashes were a problem again during the night, or it might have been early morning. I stayed in bed until about 7:15. I got up to take the first supplements, and then brush and swish. My back was not in great shape and kept warning me. I unpacked some clothing from a box, but did not try on much of it. I went outside to check for gopher mounds and I was greatly relieved when there were none. I was in no shape to dig them up. Since it rained last night, I decided not to water anything.
I went through my e-mail, looking for things to unsubscribe from. Around 11, a man came to install a safety bar in the shower. I showed him the bathroom and the placement of the bar. Then another man arrived, quite tall. I left them alone and went back to my laptop. When they were done, the first man asked me to sign a piece of paper, and then they left.
I made breakfast and watched short funny videos. Chris came home for lunch. When he indicated he hadn't gone by the post office, I finished my breakfast and headed over. But then I remembered the mask requirement and I didn't have one with me, so I walked home again.
After Chris left, two men came to fix the light on the garage door opener. One man talked to me while the other took the unit apart and replaced the bulbs. But the light still didn't work, so they have to order a part and come back later. I put on a bathing suit and laid outside on a lawn chair. I read and I sweated. Then I came in to get cleaned up and dressed. I finished watching a video and read an article. I called Faye to see how she and Dad were doing.
I unpacked a large box of scraps into smaller boxes that would fit on small shelves in the sewing room and closet. I unpacked a glass pitcher and smoothed out a bunch of paper. I arranged some things on top of the kitchen cabinets because I have nowhere else to put them. I took some things from the garage to the shed.
William called, and talked about Patrick. I picked some dandelion and made a salad for supper, and had some beef to go with it. Then I put on shoes and went to post office. Of course the sprinklers were on, and I got a little wet on the way in. I picked up a package, and went out the back door instead. I found a new path that avoided the sprinklers. When I got back to the house, Chris opened the package. It was my new teapot!
I read articles for a while, then made a magnesium drink. I watched two episodes of the latest season of Lucifer with Chris. Afterward, I reprogrammed Apollo for sleep, then put the phone in airplane mode. Then I posted to my blog and got ready for bed.

Monday, August 24, 2020

It rained!

I slept ok until the first hot flash hit. There was no sleeping after that, even though I got up once. The Apollo was out of charge so no help. I got up around 7:15. I put Apollo on the charger and reprogrammed it for relaxation. I made a protein drink and an H2 drink. I tried to unpack some lamps, but I couldn't get the heavier ones out. I smoothed the paper. I drank the drinks which were now ready.
I brushed and swished. I tried on a bunch of clothes from a box, and put most of them in the dresser, but some went to a donation pile. Then I went outside to water the dryer parts of the lawn and to look for gopher mounds. I did not find any.
I spent the rest of the morning tapping, until it was time for breakfast. I listened to more tapping audios as I ate. Chris came home for lunch and brought me an ad, which was all we got in the mail today. I was hoping for a new teapot.
I called William. He had gotten off work early to pick up some medication. I put on my bathing suit and laid on the chaise lounge in the shed. With the door open, the sun came in just right. I tanned both sides of me, and kept reading till I finished the book. Then I went inside and cleaned off all the sweat. My own sauna!
I got dressed again. I read e-mail and answered some, too. Melanie told me what the plants were that are growing in my lawn. I worked in the garage, unpacking a box and moving others around. When Chris came home from work, I asked him to move some things that were too heavy for me.
For supper, I had roast beef, and salad, plus a slice of watermelon and some blueberries. I texted back and forth with Stacey. We decided to try a recipe together. Well, actually, with Eric.
Chris said it was strange that he never found the AV cord that connects the DVD player to the TV. I went looking in every place I had seen cords. Back in the guest room where we upended the parts box, was where I found it. I handed him a flashlight and he hooked the player up to the TV and tested the connection to make sure it was working. Then he went back to his game.
I made my magnesium drink and told Chris I was ready to watch TV whenever he was. I unpacked scraps in the garage. Then I found him polishing his shoes. The polish smelled unpleasant and strong. We watched two episodes of Lucifer, finishing season 4 and starting season 5. It started to rain so I asked Chris to check my car windows. After the show, I brushed and swished and typed up my blog post before going to bed.

Lillith who?

I got up about 7:30, took first supplement, and read e-mail until church started around 9. I watched the church service until someone turned their camera off. Then I got dressed and went outside to dig up gopher mounds. I also watered dried grass. I read e-mail, then made breakfast while Chris mowed the rest of the lawn. As I put breakfast together, I had to make more mixes and refill small containers. Chris put a roast in the oven at 250.
NYTimes said dental hygienists were most at risk based on how often and how close their exposures were. So I looked for articles saying dental hygienists got sick more often than other occupations, but there was nothing about that.
At solar noon, I laid out in the sun, reading. Then I moved into the shed for a real sweat. But I didn't sweat like I expected. When I came in, I changed back into shorts and t-shirt. Then Chris and I took some plaques to his office. He has quite the display there. But one box had a porcelain doll in it, instead of a plaque. I said he could set her out as Covid Cathy since her head was cracked. I don't know what he did with her when we got home.
I sat down to read e-mail and unsubscribe to a bunch of stuff because I am inundated with information and ads every day. I also answered some e-mail. Chris helped me cut up a watermelon. He made the big cuts and I sliced it up to go into bags in the freezer. I cut up the rind and threw it in the back yard where the grass needs water and nutrition. Chris cooked up a squash and a yucca. I looked up Harward farms to see where the produce I bought came from. Apparently they partnered with wSyngenta, Helena, and Bayer on their agri-spray page. Learning that did not instill my confidence in their produce.
For supper I ate some of the roast, the squash, and the yucca, plus the usual handful of soaked nuts. I put the remains of supper away. Then I proposed that we watch TV early, and Chris was amenable.
We watched two episodes of Lucifer. Then Chris looked up Lillith (presumably Adam's first wife). He read some of it to me, and then went back to his game. I sat on the couch and read more. She is mentioned in many ancient texts. Most of them paint her in a bad light. Then I retreated to my laptop to type up my day and get ready for bed.

The small turnout

I got up to take my supplements, then went back to bed. Chris gave me a coconut oil massage. Later I got up to check e-mail and take more supplements. I watered dry parts of the lawn and took care of some gopher dirt. I took a shower. It was after noon when I made and ate breakfast. I had half a banana afterward, then packed up my sewing stuff and a water bottle.
I asked Chris to put my machine in the car. He sat in the back seat because I had stuff in the passenger seat. I drove to the pavillion and he unloaded my machine for me. I put a box of quilting magazines on one table and set up my machine at another. The power strip was long enough for Johnnie to set up at the next table. But before Chris could leave, Johnnie arrived with a hand project and her husband was carrying a chair. That was at 1pm. The four of us talked for a while, then the men left on foot. Johnnie and I talked while she did some hand embroidery and I made two masks. I used the craft iron she brought. Just as I was taking a picture of the masks, Patrick called to ask something about my old laptop. I took the chance to remind him that his laundry belongs in his room, not elsewhere in the house. I ended the call when another lady joined us. She is with MWR. The three of us had a nice chat and came up with some ideas.
After she left, I realized it was after 4pm. I packed up my machine and notions. I was able to get everything into my car and I drove home. I was also able to unload it all by myself. I took the next supplement, and read and deleted some e-mail, getting the unread portion to below 400. For supper, I had some pork, and made a salad. I added some carrot greens that were hydrating in water. After that, I opened a young coconut, drank some of the water, and poured the rest into the fermented coconut milk. Then I asked Chris to put the recharged battery into the lawn mower. I mowed on both sides of the yard. I stopped to talk to my next door neighbor, who was also the lady from MWR. Then I continued mowing, not sure where the middle line between her house and my house was. But my back was hurting, so I put the mower away.
It was 8:30 and time to watch TV. I made my magnesium drink and we watched two episodes of Lucifer. I also took some melatonin and put on a sleep patch. After the second show, I put my clean clothes away and the two of us made the bed up with clean sheets. Then I sat down to write to my blog, and get ready for bed (with the Apollo).

The grocery run

I woke up initially hearing the sprinklers hit the windows. There was no trumpet-playing at 6:30, but the hot flashes set in so it was hard to go back to sleep. I did not notice Chris getting up, but he was gone when I got up, and surprisingly, it was almost 8. I went to the kitchen for a protein and H2 drink. I checked e-mail and wrote one to my brother. I got dressed, took quercetin and zinc, then brushed and swished.
We made our weekly trip to Tooele. I brought a book on CD and we listened to part of disc 7. I also brought a snack. We went to the bank and then to Luckey's and got some groceries. Then we stopped at the vegetable stand. I got corn, tomatoes and a watermelon. I stood there for a long time waiting for the lady to finish with a man who wanted to order boxes of certain vegetables to be picked up on another day. After that, we went to Melanie's Nurtition where I bought 2 lbs of brazil nuts. They were a good deal compared to online prices. I wanted to sign up for her herb walk, but she said there were too many people for that to be allowed right now.
Then we went to Macey's. We got bone broth and coconut milk and sprouts. But they didn't have the Suja that Luckey's has. And finally we went home, listening to the rest of disc 7 and part of disc 8. Chris has a CD player in his car so there were no battery problems. We carried the food inside and put some in our fridge.
I laid outside in the sun, reading, for half an hour. Then I came in and made breakfast. I ate it while reading e-mail. I wrote a long answer to Kurt's e-mail. I parsed out two weeks worth of practitioner supplements. Then I invited Chris to unpack with me.
We moved boxes around in the garage and unpacked some, and designated others for donation. I thought I could get all the Christmas stuff in one box, but even two wasn't enough. I wished I could store them in the shed, but it gets really hot in there and since the sprinklers get it wet twice a day, it is humid as well. (Hmm - maybe I could turn it into a sauna...)
At 6:30 we stopped for supper. I made a salad with salad greens and some dandelion. I also ate a small bag of blueberries. Then I went outside to mow more of the lawn. I mowed until the battery ran down. Then I called Chris to take the battery inside and recharge it while I put the mower in the shed.
I made a magnesium drink and sipped it while watching out the window to see the moment when the sprinklers across the street stopped and ours turned on. It did not happen right at 8:35 like it usually does. But just as Chris was pulling up Lucifer, the moment came and I enjoyed it, then sat on the couch to watch the usual two episodes. Afterward, I recharged the Apollo, posted to my blog, and got ready for bed.

Still not right

I got up before 7:30. I went outside to fix gopher mounds. The knitting needle I was using to find gopher tunnels was gone. I searched the yard to no avail, so I got out another one, a large white plastic one that I can't lose so easily. I watered the dry spots and spread grass seed on them. I also scattered the seeds that I've been trying to sprout for 2- 3 weeks now. Maybe they will do better outside.
When I came in, I shortened the elastic on an old pair of shorts. I could have replaced it, but a) the old elastic was sewn in, and b) the material was worn, too. So I just picked open the back waist seam and snugged it up a bit. I brushed and flossed. The floss went under the crown of #19 and it hurt. The dentist had assured me everything was fine and there was no gap. I want to believe him, but my intuition says something is still wrong. I called William to find out if Patrick paid him, and it seems he hasn't, but still promising to do so. Then I worked on combining all the little boxes of Christmas stuff into one larger box. That way I can find it at the appropriate time. I moved a craft room box, and unpacked the box under it. There was a box inside that was full of old photos, from high school, college, and the early years of our marriage. Michele sure was a cute kid.
Around noon I made breakfast and ate it while watching Del Bigtree live on Facebook. He interviewed two people, one of whom was the director of a new documentary called “Plandemic”. I paused the video at solar noon to laid outside and read in the sun. When I came in, I watered some of the plants, and put one in a large bowl of water to really soak.
I finished Del's talk. I looked at old pics, which brought back a lot of memories. I wondered if looking at old pics would help my dad feel like his younger self. Then I watched Plandemic. A lot of it I was familiar with, but there was some new stuff. I put on walking shoes and mowed in the back yard and side yard. I quit when my hands got sore from the vibration.
I checked e-mail again, then started digging out leftovers for supper. Chris came home from work. I asked him if he would have time to work on my sewing machine tonight and he said yes.
After supper, I read comments on articles. Then I walked to the post office to pick up any mail. I found a bunch of envelopes and one bag with supplements. I carried it all home and gave most of the envelopes to Chris. I put the lawn mower away, then made magnesium water. We watched two episodes of Lucifer, season 4. It's not my favorite season because it ends in a violent way.

First massage in Utah

I woke up when the first blast of the sprinklers hit the bedroom door windows. I wondered why Chris wasn't up yet, but when I reached over, the bed was empty. I stayed in bed until 7:30, then got up to start meditation morning. I boiled water for coffee, and turned on the stereo system in the den. I turned it up really loud so I could hear it all over the house. I wrote my blog post for yesterday but did not post it until later. I did the special lymph-moving exercises. I meditated and tapped. I cleaned a bathroom and the kitchen. I changed the water on the sweet potato. I threw out the coffee grounds and watered some of the grass.
I made pre-breakfast, then read outside for 20 minutes before taking a shower. Then I made and ate breakfast. I unplugged the ethernet cable from my laptop and connected it to the deskt top. I got on the desk top computer to e-mail a sewing file to my laptop. But it was working so slowly that it took me half an hour or more.
Then I got ready for my trip by filling a water bottle and putting an ice pack in the cooler in case I went grocery shopping. I left just after 1:30. I arrived at Melanie's Nutrition about 2:25. I met Nancy and we chatted for a little bit, then she left the room and I disrobed and got under the blanket. She returned and gave me a massage. It was not as good as the one in Huntsville, and she didn't give me a knee pillow, but I will ask for one next time. After I got dressed, I paid her and promised to call again. I chose a package of spirulina from a low shelf. I also wanted magnesium citrate, but they didn't have it. So I purchased the spirulina and went to the dentist, which was close by.
I called to tell them I was there. Then I walked around outside until they called to tell me to come in. They had me sign a covid form (for the third time) and wait. I went out to get my water bottle and take my midafternoon supplements. I got called back and was soon seated in a dental chair. I closed my eyes and breathed until the dentist showed up. He examined my teeth and said everything was fine, that the pain was just inflammation and would resolve in 2 weeks - or they could give me a cortizone shot. I said I could wait it out.
On the way out, I stopped by the bathroom before my hour drive home. When I got to the car, I found the box of CD's for the book, selected the next CD and exchanged it for the one in the player. The old one was still spinning! Had it been so all the while? Well, on the way back, after 4 tracks, it stopped playing. I rolled the batteries around a little and got one more track, then nothing. I tried playing the radio but did not get much, so eventually I shut it off. I arrived at the base in silence. I showed my ID to the guard, then went home.
I changed the batteries in the CD player. I put the water bottle away. I took the umbrella from my car and put it in the front hall. I started having leftovers for supper and reading e-mail. Chris came home. He told me it looked like rain so I'd better put up my windows. Leaving my windows down always brought rain in Alabama but not in Utah - until I took the umbrella out. Hmmm. Chris pointed out how the water in the glass with the sprouting sweet potato was cloudy again. He suggested that I plant it, so I did.
I took an epsom salt bath because the massage lady suggested it. I put on my nightgown and made a magnesium drink. Chris and I watched two episodes of Lucifer, bringing us into the 4th season. It is my least favorite season. Then I posted to my blog and got ready for bed.
* Check out the thermometer - over 100 degrees. *

Two meetings at once

I woke up with or before hearing Reveille. I did not go back to sleep. At 7:30 I got up to start my morning. I decided to take some targeted time to tap on the pains in my teeth and behind my jaw. After the second supplement, I went outside to look for gopher mounds. I found a few, and dealt with them. I squirted some holes that were probably old and filled them with the gopher dirt.
Inside, I turned on the router and started looking at e-mail. I had over 600 unread e-mails. Should I just delete them because I don't have time to read them? So many other things to do around here. I moved empty boxes from the garage to the hallway. I took a few things out of boxes and put them where they might be found later. I cleaned the kitchen counter tops and the stove. It was hard to clean the stove because the particles would not stick to the washcloth.
I spent an hour taking vitamin C every six minutes. I used a different form than yesterday. Then I made breakfast. Chris came home for lunch.
After breakfast, I pulled more empty boxes from the garage and guest room. I collapsed boxes in front hall for David who was coming at 2. At 2:15 Carol called me on Facebook. While I was talking to her, David showed up. I let him in so he could gather boxes and papers while I went back to talking to Carol who made and sent me a sneeze guard. David let me know when he was finished and I thanked him. Carol and I finished our conversation.
I cut down into my 600 unread e-mails, knowing the number will go back up tomorrow. I wrote a letter and walked down to the post office. I took the long way back for exercise. I saw a gopher mound that had appeared next to my pail. I poured castor oil mix in the hole, and scooped up the mound.
I read e-mail until Chris came home just before 5. I started an audio, but in a few minutes it was time to sign into Zoom for the RCMQG meeting. It was so nice to visit with them and see their show and tell. Chris left about 5:40 to attend the Town Hall, which was being televised live on Facebook. So at 6, I pulled up the official Dugway page and looked for that meeting (or presentation). I did not know how to turn the volume down on the RCMQG meeting, and the volume was all the way up on the Town Hall. So I put my zoom meeting on mute and listened to both. The town hall was done 40 minutes later with no questions. The Zoom meeting went until 7:30 or 8. I manage to sneak in some supper while they discussed future plans.
I made up two weeks worth of supplements, and then Chris and I watched two episodes of Lucifer. We did something after that and went to sleep, leaving blogging for tomorrow.

Almost back in business

I first woke up when the sprinklers started spattering water on the doors to the back patio. Before they were done, reveille was blasted over the loudspeakers. I am not sure if I dozed off or not before my alarm went off at 7:30. I got up to take the first supplements, then brush and swish. I took down the hangers that were holding up the shower curtain and replaced them with roller rings. I took a shower.
As I was getting dressed, my phone rang. A man from Housing wanted to come over to check the outlets and see the shower where a bar should be installed. Sure. So I finished getting dressed, made the bed, then went outside to check for mounds. I saw one in the side yard and noticed a spray of dirt. So I snuck over there, hoping to catch the little critter in action. He wasn't there, but the hole was still open. I ran the hose into the hole, having heard that they run toward the source of the water. But he didn't come out. I scooped up the dirt into a bucket and poured a little castor oil mix in the hole.
Then the housing man arrived. He was one of the tallest people I have ever met. He quickly deduced that the outside outlets were tripped, and he reset them at the breaker box. Then he looked at the shower with the suction bar I had put up. He said he could order something and have it installed in a week.
After he left, I finished demolishing the gopher mound and spread the dirt in other holes. I found another mound in the side yard on the other side of the house. Again, the hole was still open. I put castor oil mix in it and removed the excess dirt, again spreading it in low places. The yard surface is very uneven, probably because of burrowing rodents. I don't think the gophers are alone because there are open holes with no dirt around them. But they all get castor oil mix.
I came inside and took the next supplements. I called the dentist office about the pain under my ear. They weren't too concerned but said I could come in Wednesday at 4. I turned on the router and jotted notes for my blog.
I decided to try my laser on the sore spot, and went looking for it. But I got side-tracked flattening paper and boxes. At 10:30 I sat at my laptop with a cup of water and vitamin C. I took 1 gram every 6 minutes for an hour. I found a thermometer and took my temp. It was 97.? which is normal for me. I got on the website for a massage team that works at Melanie's Nutrition and I booked a massage for the time slot before the dentist. Might as well have something to look forward to after an hour of driving.
I made and ate breakfast. Chris came home for lunch. I asked him to move a box so I could get to the tub under it. But when he did, the tub was empty. So I opened the box under the tub and there were bags of stuff from my sewing table, including masks and stuff to make masks. I sent a message to Cherry who had asked for masks. Then I put on my bathing suit and laid out in the sun and read a book. Afterward, I redressed and got back on my laptop. Cherry ordered 15 masks. I pulled fabric and took pics so she could see the options.
I unpacked pictures and mirrors so Chris' co-worker could have the boxes. I found a broken picture and took a photo of it and the box it came in. I put a chair and my favorite sewing machine in the sewing room. I thought I was back in business, but when I set up the machine, the thread guide was broken off in small pieces. I don't think it is a replaceable part. Sigh. Chris came home from work while I was eating supper. His co-worker came minutes later for boxes. He did not take but a small fraction of them. So I sent a message to the man who picked up boxes before. Chris cooked a package of mushrooms for me. I checked e-mail. The man responded that he could come back tomorrow to get the rest. Chris tried to glue the thread guide back together, but the pieces were so small that the PVC glue wasn't holding. He also glued the magnetic door stop for one of the cabinets. I cut off a piece of wood to support one corner of my cutting table so I could shove the tub of batting under it.
I made a cup of magnesium water while Chris finished up his game (though he never really finishes). Then we watched two episodes of Lucifer. Afterward, Chris went back to his game and I wrote down the events of the day. And then it was time for bed.

The bread fiasco

We got up about 7:30. My back was acting up and I wondered if it had something to do with using the inversion table last night. I started with supplements and swishing. I was doing something on my computer when I noticed it was a few minutes after 9. I tuned into the All Saints Lutheran Church service. The morning announcements were just ending. I sat through the whole service. The pastor gave a good sermon. I enjoyed seeing familiar faces during communion. I would have enjoyed singing the hymns but they were all unfamiliar ones. Jennifer played a recorder for one of them, which was a nice touch.
Afterward, I forced myself to concentrate on writing a post for the sewing event next week. I wanted to let people know that they were welcome to drop by the pavillion while Johnnie and I were sewing on Saturday to visit. I didn't want anyone to think they could drop by with their mending pile, or pants to be hemmed. I also scooped up three gopher mounds in the side yards. I guess I succeeded in moving them away from the front yard.
I got that done by noon, then worked on breakfast. Chris asked me to make him a loaf of bread. So I paused in making breakfast to add ingredients to the bread machine. We didn't have enough flour left, so he handed me a container of corn flour. I figured the gluten content would be too low, so I mixed the yeast, water and sugar in a bowl to let it do the first rising and increase the yeast. Then I threw all the ingredients in the bread machine and proceeded with breakfast.
After breakfast, I laid outside reading while getting my daily sunshine. (My condolences to those who are getting rained out in Virginia. Please send any extra rain our way.) Then I continued a Facebook conversation on masks and viruses. So many studies to read. When I needed a break, we took a walk to the post office, where we found one letter. Along the way, we saw a group of servicemen at the pavillion. They were not social distancing or wearing masks. They had a big smoker and a food table. There were 8 to 10 of them. I hoped they would not be back next Saturday.
When I checked on the bread, it was not mixing even though the arm was moving at the bottom of the pan. It was too dry. I tried adding water, but it wasn't mixing in. I asked Chris to get out the mixer with the dough hooks. There was too much dough to mix it all in one batch so I divided it into two batches. After using the dough hooks, I put it back in the bread machine, but it still wasn't mixing. I added more water and mixed by hand. I guess corn flour needs extra water. Finally I decided to let it rise in the oven and just bake it in the bread machine. So I turned on the oven for a minute, then put the bowl of dough in to rise. It seemed to be working, but later I decided to warm the oven up again. This time I forgot to turn it off after a minute. The 'ding' when it reached 350 caught my attention. I shut it off and opened the oven door, hoping it wasn't too late. Chris kept saying it didn't matter, however it turned out. So I leaving it in the open oven for a bit, I then put it back in the bread machine and let it run through the whole cycle.
For supper, Chris heated up some of the pork with onions and cabbage. While he did that, I called Faye to ask about the sore spot under my left ear. She said the dentist might have irritated it trying to move my jaw during the process of filling the cavity. She said the left side of my face looked swollen and suggested I take my temp in case it was an infection. I would have if I knew where our thermometer was. I didn't want to drive an hour each way to buy one. Then she called me on Skype so we could see each other. Dad came over to join her so I could see him as well. I unplugged my laptop and gave them a tour of the house as far as my ethernet cord would reach.
After the call, I ate some pork for supper, then made a small salad. I put topical patches on my face. Chris took his bread from the machine. It hadn't risen and was very lumpy on top, but he was unfased. I read e-mail and played Solitaire until it was TV time. Then I made a magnesium drink and a vitamin C drink. I drank the first one during the first episode of Lucifer and the second one during the second episode. Then I brushed my teeth and wrote up my day.

A little test run

We got up late. I noticed that the spot under my ear and behind my jaw, was very sore. I hoped I had just been sleeping on it wrong and it would clear up soon. Chris gave me a coconut oil massage. Then he went to play on his computer. I took supplements, brushed and swished. I read some e-mail.
Self-Help posted a pic of vegetables from the community garden. I was going to walk down there and get some. Chris and I looked in the water softener tank to see if we also needed salt. Yes, and quite a bit. So instead of walking, I took the car. I signed out two 40lb bags of salt from Self-Help and picked up a squash and a zucchini. When I got home, I backed my car up to the garage and opened the trunk. I let Chris know so he could get the bags out at his convenience.
I read e-mail and responded to some of Kurt's comments to my comments on Facebook. Because the conversations are so long, it is hard to find the comment I wanted to respond to. While my inner critic was pondering a comment on Facebook, I grabbed my sewing machine cart and headed to the pavillion. By the time my critic caught up with me, I was halfway down the block and it couldn't stop me. When I got to the pavillion, I set up my machine and plugged in the power strip. I was worried that the table was too bumpy for a cutting mat, but I was able to cut some 4 inch squares and two mask-sized rectangles. I added a row to a previously made charity quilt top. I ironed it with the mini iron, using it for the first time. I was not impressed. Then I made a Star Trek themed mask. The only trouble I had was with the wind. No one stopped to see what I was doing. Around 3:15, I packed everything up and rolled my kit and kaboodle back to the house.
I watched some short videos on mis-information, and the WHO hiring a PR firm to help with their image and message. It was the same PR firm that in 1990 got Nayirah to falsely testify that Iraqi solders pulled Israeli babies from their incubators and left them to die. I wonder what Hill and Knowlton will do for the WHO.
Because of something Kurt said, I looked up George Floyd's memorial services and looked for covid spikes afterward. The graph for Houston was kind of hazy and I did not see one for North Carolina. That was as far as I got. For supper I ate some of the roasted garlic cloves that Chris made. He also roasted the zucchini in strips and I had one of those, plus a tomato and some of the pork he had in the oven all day.
After eating, I called William to wish him a happy birthday. Then I looked at bathroom scales on Amazon. I wanted an analog scale because the digital ones were made of glass and most had bluetooth. But I had to settle for a digital without bluetooth. But then Amazon refused to mail it to my address. ?!?! I submitted the rest of my order because I need the new teapot.
Chris left the pork cooking until the juice dried up and the meat fell apart. I made my magnesium drink and we watched an episode of Lucifer. Then he put the meat away, and we watched another episode of Lucifer. Afterward, we dressed the bed with clean sheets and I put my laundry away. Then I sat down to write my blog post before going to bed. The spot under my left ear is still sore but maybe a little less so.
* Not an idea spot, but it worked. *

He got it in one shot - literally

Chris' alarm went off at 6:30. I was waiting for Reveille, but it didn't play. I guess it only plays M-Th. I got up, drank the protein and H2 drink, brushed and then swished in the shower. After dressing, I filled a water bottle (something I should do for every trip into Tooele) and put on some glutathione patches. Chris put the cooler in the car and we headed out.
We arrived 5 minutes early at the dentist. I called and they said to come in in 5 minutes. But I had to use the restroom, so I went in 3 minutes later. I wore a surgical mask and found it easier to breathe around. I had to sign a covid form saying I didn't have any symptoms and hadn't been anywhere. A young man showed me back to a cubicle. He asked me if I wanted nitrous, and I did, so he set that up. Then the dentist came in so I could ask him about what's in the filling and tell him to read the previous dentist's notes on anesthesia. He left, I relaxed, then he came back to do the shot in the jaw. It wasn't as bad as when the crown was put in. He left again and I watched Shark Week which was playing on the ceiling TV. He came back, did a little bit of drilling and left again. The assistant rinsed my mouth several times. The dentist came back to do the filling, at which point I was so numb and loopy I almost slept through it. He packed my jaw with cotton and left again. Later he came back to take it out, pronounce the procedure as finished, and he was gone. The assistant had me on just oxygen for a few minutes. When he sat me up, he took everything off and gave me a baggie with the NO mask in it. He said if I brought it back next time, the NO charge would be $5 cheaper. So I went up front and paid. I asked if I could have some NO to go. But she said no.
Chris was waiting in the car outside. I got in and we went to Luckey's for some groceries. They had turmeric root in with the ginger roots. I guess it was the same price because there was no label for the turmeric. We got a few other things, but not everything. Then we went to Melanie's Nutrition, where I got a beet drink. The farm stand had tomatoes and cantaloupe so I got a bag and one melon. Then we went to Macey's for the things Luckey's didn't have. On the way home, I had to hold the bag of tomatoes between my shins to keep them from going everywhere.
By the time we got back to base, I had taken all my morning supplements and was almost ready for breakfast. I made breakfast while Chris played his game. I don't care about the time he spends, but the charges really add up.
After breakfast, I listened to an interview between Matthew Mc, and Fauci. Kurt had suggested it. The subject of masks came up. Afterward, Chris moved Grandma's sewing machine into the dining room and held it up while I screwed the legs back on. We moved the inversion table into the master bathroom. What seemed small in the garage took up a lot of space in the bathroom! I asked him to move some boxes around for me, and then I unpacked some with clothing. A lot of it was stuff I hadn't worn in Huntsville so I decided to try each one on and discard those that didn't fit well or I just didn't like anymore. To that end, I unpacked our full-length mirror. Then I spent quite a while trying on tops. I did not try on winter stuff because it was just too hot. But I put cold weather clothing in a large suitcase for later in the year.
I ate corn and salad with lots of tomatoes.
I listened to an interview with Simone Gold, a physician and lawyer. She said that before HCQ, no FDA approved drug had ever been prohibited for off-label uses. France had it over-the-counter, but pulled it off their shelves on Jan 13th. In 2005 NIH said HCQ worked when given early for Sars-Cov-1. Sars-Cov1 is 78% identical to Sars-Cov2. She was censored for speaking in favor of HCQ. 100K Americans would be alive today if doctors were allowed to prescribe HCQ.
At 7”30 I went for a walk to the post office. There was nothing in our box, but it was a nice walk anyway. I dodged the sprinklers on the way in and on the way out. I really should go earlier, but then it's hotter.
I read e-mail until Chris finished his game and then we watched TV. I took the melatonin during the first episode of Lucifer, and by the end of the second episode I was falling asleep. So, we just turned off the TV and went to bed.
* A new lead to follow. *

And the doorbell rang...

I woke up when Reveille played and went back to sleep. I woke up again when the 7:30 alarm went off, and went back to sleep. When I woke up at 7:50, I got out of bed. I made a protein drink with molecular hydrogen. I saw the recycling overflowing, so I got dressed and took it out to the curb. I also broke down the box that the hose was in and put that with the recycling. For some reason it was growing moths.
I pulled out one shelf of the shelving unit I made in Korea. I walked around the house, looking for a good spot to erect it. There was a good space in the master bedroom closet, but it was full of boxes. So I started unpacking. I needed more clothes anyway. I did several rounds of NAET because my head is itching again. I'm scratching my head trying to figure out why it came back.
I fiddled with PVC pipes I found in a bag. I assembled my quilt frame so I would know which PVC pieces were extraneous. I put together two 'ladders' for the sides but the shelves were too big to fit them. Hmm. A man came by doing the census. I told him Chris had probably done it online. He asked a few questions, mostly about this address, then he left.
I started mixing a batch of seed crackers, when the doorbell rang again. It was a guy come to fix the sprinklers. I told him the sprinklers came on last night, but not for two or three nights before. He said the RF repeater was down for a while. So the sprinkler systems are controlled by radiofrequency signals. Gaaah!!! Is there no end to the electrosmog around here? I also hinted that I could salvage some sod from a house that will be torn down. But he said if the maintenance crew sees sod missing, they will report it. (Really? Like don't they have bigger fish to fry?)
I finished the seed crackers and put them in the oven. Then I made breakfast and ate it while listening to the CD's on the stereo.
Chris came home for lunch. But before he could finish making his sandwich, the doorbell rang again. It was the police coming to inspect our vin numbers. Gotta love that they came to us, rather than us showing up at the police station. I went out to see what was going on. Chris pointed out another gopher mound, which I swear wasn't there this morning. I finished my breakfast.
I looked up old pics on the desktop computer, hoping to find more shots of the PVC shelving unit. I put ozone cream on a dental pick and applied it to tooth #19. It seems to be helping. I looked for our two-drawer nightstand. I gave up when I couldn't remember why I was looking for it.
I put on my bathing suit and read outside for half an hour. When I came in, I didn't feel good. So I laid down for a few minutes, then drank a glass of water. I looked at magazines that I was contemplating giving away and selected a stack I could part with.
Armed with spray and a bucket, I dealt with the latest gopher mound. I used a knitting needle to find the hole, then poured the liquid in it and scooped up the extra dirt. When I went in, I unpacked more boxes, some from the garage and some from the livingroom. I stopped to eat some pork with the sauce Chris made. Then I had some seed crackers, and a can of tomato soup. I looked through my blog for my DNA test because I couldn't remember the name of the company. But I did not find it.
Chris came home from work and immediately sat down at his laptop to play the game. I flattened paper and moved some things from one box to another and to some other places. I emptied another box! I checked e-mail, and then put my walking shoes on. We walked to the post office to pick up a package. But there were TWO packages, both for me. As we walked back, he picked up a dime and a penny from the street. Of course when we got home, he put them on my laptop while I opened the boxes and took the supplements out.
Then I made a magnesium drink and saved the melatonin for later. We watched two episodes of Lucifer, then I posted to my blog. Taps was played over the loudspeaker at 10pm. This is a new and unappreciated thing.
* I took pics of some quilts in the magazines before adding them to the donation pile. *

To sprinkle or not to sprinkle

I got up around 7:30. I checked the lawn to see if it was wet, and only the back yard was wet. So the morning sprinklers did not water the front lawn, which is looking a little yellow. I washed my coffee pot in anticipation of coffee morning. But it slipped a little in my hands and hit the side of the porcelain sink which put a crack in the pot. Grrr! I simmered coffee in it anyway.
I turned on the router so I could post to my blog for yesterday and check e-mail to see if Fire and Kettle fixed the cart problem on their website. They had not, and asked me to just e-mail them my order. I texted the Huntsville dentist to get some info on how she numbed my tooth (after 5 tries) so that my new dentist can get it done in one or two injections.
I swished twice, and did special exercises for moving lymph. I put music on the stereo on the den thinking I would hear it in the bedroom, but it was very faint, even though those rooms share a wall. I tried using a boombox stereo in the bedroom, but the packers had disconnected the speakers. I reattached them, but only one worked. Afterward, I watered the grass and threw out coffee grounds. I cleaned the kitchen and bathrooms. I lost steam by the time I got to the kitchen, so it was more of a lick and a promise. By then it was 2pm. I made and ate breakfast and listened to an audio.
Johnnie and I came up with an idea for an outdoor sewing event. I walked to self-help and got a bag of grass seed, and the number for base operations. We had a nice discussion of what's available and for how long. Also, learned they have free veggies from the community garden. I walked by the pavilion to check out its suitability for sewing. The chain-link tables might be too bumpy for rotary cutting. I walked home. I called base operations and gave them my list of things to be done.
Then I jotted notes for my blog.
Chris came home at almost 6. He got out the pork and we both had some. Then I made a salad, but did not bother gathering dandelion. I ate the salad, some nuts, and some frozen blackberries while watching several short videos showing how small are the percentages of people infected with CoVid if you eliminate NY and NJ. Add all the red hot states together and they have fewer deaths than NY + NJ despite having four times the population. I talked to Chris about the sewing event. He said he would ask someone tomorrow to make sure it's ok.
I connected up the hose and watered the side yard and part of the front where it was yellowing. I came in about 8 and asked Chris to lift a vaccuum cleaner out of a wardrobe box. He did, and I found another piece of a CD rack in the box. I added it to the base and the rack finally stood up straight. I looked up a pic of the shelving system I had put together in Seoul. I was hoping to use it here, but it seems dependent on having a divided closet to add stability.
I made a magnesium drink and we watched two episodes of Lucifer. At 8:35 I heard the sprinklers come on. Sigh. I took a melatonin capsule between episodes. After the second show, I took the last supplements, and sat down to write to my blog.
* Half of the population could be immune to the C virus. *

Shelves and kites

I got up around 7:30. I brushed and swished. I washed up and got dressed. I sprayed the newest gopher holes with castor oil mix. I scooped up the extra dirt and used it to fill old holes. I raked the rest flat and fluffed up the grass.
I went into the garage and found the plastic pieces to the saw horses. I assembled the saw horses, then got the smaller piece of plywood from yesterday and drew 11 inch segments with my quilting ruler. I didn't find goggles, so I wore my computer glasses. I used the jigsaw to cut on the lines. My cuts were not as straight as I hoped. I cut off two shelves and put them in the living room bookcase. I put glue on my thumb to pull out tiny splinters. I filled the shelves with language books, then realized the book case was not in it's final position (which has other stuff in it right now).
I made and ate breakfast. Chris came home for lunch and I asked him to move a box for me. I laid out in the sun, reading, for 30 minutes. I read some e-mail and unpacked more books and quilting mags, mostly in the den. I moved smaller boxes around in the sewing room, but couldn't lift the heavier boxes which were on my table. I finished looking through old pictures and put them all back in the box. I cut two more shelves, and this time used quilting gloves to prevent more splinters. One went in the living room and the other went int the den.
The doorbell rang and it was a man from Housing. He said a man was coming to fix the RF. (Say what?) I found out that the smart meter has an antenna on it and the antenna wasn't communicating with the tower. The man needed a step stool, so I lent him one. I checked e-mail while he reoriented the antenna and then returned the steps. We had a nice chat about housing stuff.
The cardboard shelves I made did not work well in a 26.5 inch bookcase, so I cut them down with the jigaw (so much easier than using scissors), to 18.5 and put them in the entertainment center to hold CD's and the Playstation. No bowing at all!
It was after 5 when I stopped for supper. I picked dandelion and made a salad. I had some pork with sauce. Then I wanted frozen berries but we were all out. So I drove to the commissary. They didn't have any organic berries so I settled for the regular. I chatted with the clerks about masks. On the way home, I stopped at the post office and picked up a package.
When I got home, I noticed it was windy. So I got out my kite and tried to fly it in the back yard. The wind was so gusty that the kite swooped around like mad, then dove into the ground, over and over. I moved to the side yard, which was a little better, but not much. I put the kite away and waited in the back yard for the sprinklers to come on. I wanted to see if a certain patch of weeds was being watered. But they never came on. I wondered if something was broken, or if the water was diverted elsewhere.
I made a magnesium drink, and took melatonin. We watched two episodes of Lucifer. I fell asleep on the couch, so afterward I just went to bed.

The answer to gophers?

I woke up thinking about seeing the dentist today. I was going to arrive early, but wondered if they would make me sit in my hot car until my appointment time, and what if they were running late? I had filled out the paperwork yesterday and decided not to enter my SSN or DL numbers because neither Chris nor I could think of a reason for them to need that info.
I got up to drink some protein powder with molecular hydrogen and set the Apollo on 'heal and rebuild'. Then I brushed and swished and washed up. I stepped on the scale and it indicated that I lost 10 pounds. I kinda doubt that so I got out two 10lb weights. They did not register as 20 lbs. Maybe it's time for a new scale.
I turned on the router. Even though I had restarted my laptop last night before putting it to sleep, apparently it rebooted again and dropped all my open windows in Edge. Grrrr! I looked up how to get them back, and what I found was more along the lines of preventing it from happening next time.
I listened to audios and sorted through old pictures, reliving good times. I found a croquet set in a box in the garage. I wondered if it was the answer to my prayers about gophers. I made and ate breakfast. I checked e-mail. Xylana messaged me that she'd send me a pattern of her own making for what she called a 'sneeze shield'. She said it was easier to breathe through. I checked the front lawn and saw a new gopher mound.
Chris came home for lunch. I asked him to get a box down from a high shelf in the fabric room for me. I checked the contents and labeled it in large letters so I wouldn't have to check it again. Then I read a few more things online before getting ready to go to the dentist. Just at that moment Faye started texting me from her dentist office. I got in my car and headed to Tooele. I had my CD player but it would not play. I think the heat killed the batteries. I made a decision to check the time along the way. It took 45 minutes to get to the outer edge of Tooele, but I forgot to check again when I arrived at the dentist. It must have been another 5 to 7 minutes.
Anyway, I texted them from my car and they said to come in. I was glad I didn't have to wait in the car. I handed over the filled forms, signed a CoVid form, and sat in the waiting room. Soon I was called back and was seated in a reclining chair. There was a TV on the ceiling. The dentist came in to introduce himself. I told him about the root canal on #13 and the pain in #19. He had the assistant x-ray #19. Then he checked it and said the margins were soft and there was decay, but no absess. He drilled out the temp filling in the root canal and filled it with … something else. He also ground down some high spots on #19. After he left, the assistant helped me make another appt to have tooth #19 fixed. She also had a paper showing the costs for today and the next appt. I rinsed my mouth out several times because there was sediment left. Then I went to the front desk to pay and sign up for their self-insurance program. Whereas their website said $19 a month, they charged me for the whole year.
Then I drove through town to Home Depot. I had never been that far down before. I was looking for shelving. I put on my mask but kept finding I had taken it off without thinking. I talked to a nice man who helped me choose wood in the form of a 4' by 4' sheet. He cut it into two pieces for me and put it in my cart. I walked around the store, enjoying being out of the house. Eventually I picked up some corner brackets and batteries for the CD player. I paid at the front, and put the wood pieces in the back seat of my car. I started the CD player, making sure it came through my car speakers. Then I started the drive home.
It was uneventful except for the winding roads, and my car not shifting up like it should have. It doesn't seem to do that on the straight parts. I got back to post a little before 5:30. I made a salad for supper and picked some dandelion to go in it. I ate the salad and was about to get some pork, when Chris came home with ingredients for barbeque sauce. So I listened to some audios on my laptop while he cooked it up. Then we each had some pork with sauce on it. Mmmmm. So good I ate more than I should have.
I made magnesium water. We watched two episodes of Lucifer. Chris got the wood out of my car. I got dressed for bed and sat down to write my blog post.

Faye from the Fox Reunion

I woke up when Chris got out of bed. I am not sure if I dozed off again, but I think I stayed awake until I got up. I got up about 8, and started taking supplements. Chris said he'd shut off my alarm so I could sleep. Then he started mowing the lawn. (Who is he and what has he done with my husband?)
I brushed and swished. I showered and dressed, always in the usual t-shirt and shorts. Chris brought in the mower battery to recharge. At 9 I watched our Huntsville church service. It was nice to see familiar faces.
I read e-mail until time for breakfast. I made and ate breakfast while Chris had lunch. Then we walked to the post office but there was nothing in our box.
Just as we came in the house, Faye called from the reunion to get Michele's address. She wanted to Skype me so others could visit with me, but her tablet wasn't cooperating. I made up a gopher spray with castor oil and dish soap according to a recipe online. I sprayed or poured it down the holes I could find, which were either obviously open, or apparent when pushing a long screwdriver in the ground near mounds. After emptying the bottle, I met our neighbor and let her dogs sniff my hand. Hopefully they won't bark at me so much.
I went inside and read e-mail to cool off. I looked up the location of Home Depot in Tooele so I can get more shelves to replace the ones that are obviously missing. I found places for some stuff in the garage. I tried on some old clothes, put some in donation, and others in the trash. Chris asked for the handtruck. But by the time I found it, he had carried a big box to the shed by himself.
I spend some time responding to posts on Facebook regarding masks and hypoxia. Then Chris pulled out the pork and we had supper. I ate the last sweet potato to make more room for the other foods. I found more more stuff to put away. Frankly there is a lot that I just don't know where to put. I found places in and on the sideboard for glassware on the dining room table.
I read e-mail again. I watched an episode of TQS. Then I made a magnesium drink and we watched two episodes of Lucifer. Afterward, I wrote up my blog post for today and got ready for bed.

Meeting Brian

I woke up when Chris got out of bed, but I don't know when that was. He came back later to shower and dress. He kissed me before he left to take my car to the dealership. I got up to do the usual morning things. I read e-mail between supplements. Around 10 I went outside to mow the lawn. I discovered another mound had shown up. I got the bucket and scooped up the mound. That is when I noticed the grass was still wet. So I parked the mower, and tried leveling ground in other places. I went back in for the next round of supplements.
I came across the term 'sado-mask-ism' and 'faucism' in one of the articles I read. I read that N95 masks are for contaminated environments (the outbreath is not filtered) and surgical masks are for sterile environments (not designed to keep viruses out, just large droplets in).
Chris came back with my car, which now had a front license plate holder. Still no front license plate, though. Chris also had some groceries, including a pork roast, which he prepared and put in the oven. I made and ate breakfast.
Chris re-nailed the back of one of the book cases, which then went into the sewing room. We moved things around in the sewing room to make room for the cutting table. I found the cutting mat in the garage. We unpacked a few other boxes there, too.
We went to visit Brian and Johnnie. They showed us their RV - really big! Then Brian explained how he traps gophers. It's NOT a have-a-heart kind of trap. Johnnie uses the leaf blower to disperse the piles of dirt. Then they invited us inside for conversation and drinks.
When we got home, I mowed part of the lawn because the grass was now dry. It was exhausting and hot work. The ground was rough and the blade ran into something several times. Finally I'd had enough for one day and put it back in the garage.
The pork was cooked, though not falling apart. Chris put some in a dish for me. I ate it at my laptop and finished the corn and carrots and had some frozen berries. He put the pork back in the oven to cook longer.
I took things out of boxes in the garage and found places for them in the house. I found the water pitchers I was using with the Berkey. I flattened paper, made the magnesium drink, and flattened more paper.
Around 8:30, we watched two episodes of Lucifer. I reset the Apollo for sleep, then sat down to write about my day.

Mysterious mounds

I got up a little late because I woke up early and tried to go back to sleep. I did not wake during the night, which was good. I got up to brush, swish and take supplements.
Chris wanted a haircut so he went to get a chair and I went to get the hair kit. First we went to the back porch, but the sun was too bright. So we tried the front porch, but the outlet didn't work. We ended up in the garage. He asked me to cut it with the 1/8th inch attachment. I thought it was way too short, but he insisted that's what he wanted. So I started the razor and cut off most of his hair. Then he said the top should be longer. Oops. I tried to feather in what was left of the top so there would not be a definite line between scalp showing, and scalp not showing. It wasn't great, but he was happy with the cut.
Then he swept up the hair. He helped me free the vacuum from it's place behind stuff in the garage. He also freed the inversion table and helped me set it up. He got out the lawn mower, too, and put it in the shed where I could get at it.
Chris also wanted to register our cars at the place in Tooele. So after I had breakfast and did a little arranging in the sewing room, he got his sheaf of papers with the titles and we headed out. We were half way to Tooele when Chris remembered my car registration was still in my car. So he turned around and we went back to get it. We'd have been further along but had been caught behind a cement truck going up the mountain.
Anyway, we got the registration and headed again for Tooele. The GPS helped us find the general area. We parked at one building and walked across to another. We stood in line at the registration office, only to find when we got to the window that we needed VIN inspections on both cars before we could register them. She gave us the forms and said the police could do it.
We left and went to Wells Fargo to open a checking account. It took a lot longer than I thought it would. Chris and the banker spoke spanish to each other, and Chris told him stories involving foreign languages. While we were sitting there, the dealership called to say the front license plate holder for my car had come in. Chris set up a service appointment for tomorrow at 9.
When that was done, Chris typed the dentist's address into the GPS and we continued down Main Street less than a mile. I took a pic of the place when we got there. I was going to go in and get the paperwork so I could fill it out for next week, but the sign on the door said to call from your car. So, I called from the car. The message said they were closed. But as Chris started backing up, a man and several women came out from behind the building. So I walked up and asked if I could have the paperwork and one of the ladies went back and got the intake form for me.
Lucky's was across the street so we went there and shopped for groceries. I found organic tomatoes and apples there, but no bone broth or organic coconut milk. Then I went to the nutrition store and got a few things that I ordered but will take too long to get here. I also got a beet drink because I was so thirsty.
Then we went to Macey's for the milk and broth. William called, so Chris took the cart and I walked outside so I could talk without the mask. When Chris came out with the groceries, I followed him to the car. He loaded the bags and put some things in the cooler, which wasn't so cool by this time. And we headed home.
Going through the mountain, I lost phone signal, and then we lost radio signal, but not at the same time. When we got to post, we stopped at the post office and got our mail. Then we went home and put the groceries away. I had forgotten to put bananas on the list so Chris went to the Commissary to get them, but that place closes early on Friday. He went to the shoppette instead, and got beer.
For supper, I ate a cob of corn and I made a salad including dandelion I picked from the back yard. After supper, I dug up mounds of dirt that appeared in the lawn and were going to impede the progress of mowing. The dirt was loose like an ant hill, but no ants came out when I scooped it into a bucket with a trowel. Nor were there any tunnels in it or under it. Just yellowed grass. I filled the bucket many times and emptied it in a depression in the back yard. I stopped before the sprinklers were due to start. I wondered if the mounds would reappear tomorrow.
We watched two episodes of Lucifer. I recharged Apollo so it wouldn't run down during the night. I took Chris in the sewing room to describe my difficulty in arranging the furniture. After some discussion, Chris came up with a working solution. Then I sat down to write about my day and get ready for bed.
* Kurt wanted a pic of the base from a high elevation, but it is all so flat (at least until you get to the mountain, which is too far away). *

Finding photographs

I slept in because I was up so late. It was around 8. I rinsed my sinuses and took the first supplement, then brushed and swished. I realized the trash and recycling hadn't gone out, so I gathered them up quickly and put them at the curb. I checked e-mail and watched a video of a doctor talking about how the new mRNA vaccines will change your DNA and the ramifications of that. Also, there was a video of Dr. Bhuttar talking about how his son got autism after a second round of vaccines, but through heavy metal chelation, he fully recovered.
I continued to take supplements on schedule. I researched supplements and put together some orders, including some vinyl window covering. It took most of the morning. Chris came home late for lunch. He put a pot of water on the stove to boil, then had to go back to work. I put in the 4 ears of corn, then made and ate breakfast. I listened to Del Bigtree interview doctors who were wondering why a discussion of all possible treatments of infection are being discouraged. I also ate two of the ears of corn because they were so good.
I unpacked here and there. I glued another cardboard shelf together. William called about the new air conditioner. I flattened a bunch of paper. I rearranged things in the sewing room so I could put up the cutting table. But there won't be room for the ironing board. Just when I thought I'd found all the fabric, I opened another box and there was my collection of grays. I was in there when Chris came home from work, but I didn't hear him come in.
For supper I ate a piece of beef, and some blueberries. I walked around the outside of the house, assessing the suitability of kite flying. Chris made and ate his own supper, and played his fantasy game. I found a box of photos in my sewing room. They were from our shower and wedding and places we'd traveled.
We went for a walk to Housing and back to test the time. It was the same as to the commissary. When we got back, I made my magnesium drink. We watched three episode of Lucifer, taking us into season 3. Then I sat down to write my blog post, and program Apollo to help me sleep.
* This is the book case that needed extra support for the shelves. *

The experiment

I woke up early, hearing the sprinklers come on. Then I remembered that the morning ones soak the back porch. I rolled out of bed and went out the back to rescue my project. Thankfully the cardboard was dry. I went back to bed and did not get up until after Chris left for work.
Since it was Wednesday, I chose to have a meditation morning, with tapping and coffee, and special exercises. I didn't clean much afterward because my vacuum is somewhere in the garage. I took a shower, and checked e-mail. I glued the cardboard pieces together with liquid glue because the spray glue did not work well. Then I laid outside and finished one book and started another. Then I came in and made a pile of smoothed out packing paper, which I folded up and stuck in a box. I took down some boxes to make more room. David came around 2. He had some wood for making the supports that I asked for. I had figured he'd cut them at home, but he didn't. So I unpacked a box of tools and handed him a saw. I found more saws (electric and hand) while he finished the job. Then he took all the paper and boxes from the front hallway and loaded them in his truck. Whew!
I made and ate breakfast while listening to a video that two PPE experts put out. They were not in favor of mandatory masking for all. They said the reason doctors and nurses can wear masks all day is because the air flow exchange is greater in a hospital than in your home plus the temp and humidity are monitored and controlled. They said no one should be required to wear a mask without proper instruction on how and when to wear and what kind of mask for the kind of task.
While I was listening, Faye called. She said she bought a new air conditioner for Dad, but was sweating the wait for the installer to call and make a date. Dad lost power for awhile during the storm. The commissary called to say that nothing I ordered the other day was available from Hill Air Force Base.
I parsed out vitamins for the next two weeks so that I could place an order for whatever was running out. I placed the cardboard shelf in the book case and put books on it. I was a little disappointed. I made a salad for supper, picking dandelion and leaves from the greens in pots out back. And then Chris came home. He called Becca at the beach and she passed him on to James. We talked to James, and Cecily, and Michele and Mike and Al. Then Chris had his supper while I flattened another stack of paper. At 8 we walked to the commissary and back to see how long it takes.
When we got back, we watched two episodes of Lucifer. Then I looked through my hard drive for more pics of Chris. It got really late. I e-mailed the ones I found, then wrote up my blog post and got ready for bed.
* Not as sturdy as I thought. *
* From looking through my posts in Korea and Huntsville, there was a lot more stuff worthy of pics than here at Dugway. *
