Sick and tired

Monday

It was a long night. I felt dry so I kept getting up to drink. But it was never enough. I heard Chris get up at 4:30. I heard Reveille play at 6:30, and Chris taking his shower at 6:45. After he left for work, I didn't feel like getting up, but there was nothing else to do.

I took a large amount of vitamin C and it made me feel nauseous. I was too tired to water the plants, so I sat and read. But even reading was painful. I forced myself to water the plants and move the sprinklers. Hopefully the in-ground ones will be on tonight. I tried to fall asleep in the recliner. I tried reading outside. I tried eating breakfast. But my stomach wasn't happy about it.

I laid out in the sun. I checked my file of headache remedies. I tried the hot feet and cool head. Nope. I tried taking ginger powder. Nope. I tried various essential oils. Nope. I took a walk to the post office to get the mail. It was all junk so I threw it out then walked home, slowly.

I took a hot shower. I laid on a towel in the back yard and read for hours. Chris came home and warmed up some supper for me. I ate it in front of my laptop. I finished listening to an interview, then read Telegram messages.

I worked on my blog, then made tea. We watched an episode of Criminal Minds. I forgot about reading the book. I put hot water in a washbowl with some eucalyptus oil. I put a towel over my head and breathed it in. But it didn't help. I made more nasal rinse and used it. But that didn't clear it out either. I read online for awhile, then got ready for bed. I used my big wedge pillow to keep my head raised. I dozed off a couple times, but always had a hard time going back to sleep.

Hot enough to cook an egg?

Tuesday

I got up at 8, having gotten up periodically to pee and drink. I took supplements and drank hydrogen water. Jamie called wanting to get the key to 611 for the inspection. So I got her share of the money ready. I put it in an envelop with the key. I went out to get the garage door opener. That's when she pulled up. As I was handing it over, some work trucks pulled up. The guys said they were going to clean the gutters on the three houses on this street. She hugged me and left.

I went in and read some more. Then I went out to water the potted plants. Thankfully, the in-ground sprinklers had come on last night so I did not have to water the lawn. I pulled out the nebulizer. I made a solution according to some notes I took awhile ago. I nebulized it, breathing in through the mouth tube. Then I switched to breathing in through my mouth and out through my nose to see if I could get the liquid into my sinuses.

I made more breakfast mix and drank mushroom electrolytes. I heard the door open and figured it was Chris, but it was Michelle! She had been allowed on post to state her case. Casey was with her. She thought it went well. She gave me three hugs, even though I told her I was sick. It was so good to see her and she will let me know when the decision is made.

I ate fiber gel and laid out in the sun and read for awhile. The sun seemed hotter than normal, so I cracked an egg in a non-stick pan and placed it on the front porch. We'll see if its hot enough to cook an egg.

I made breakfast and read e-mail. Then the internet went down. I read outside and finished my book. I came in and wanted to take a nap while listening to binaural beats. But they are produced through a website and the internet was still down. I laid in the recliner and managed to fall asleep anyway. As I awoke, I checked the time. Chris would be home any minute. I got up to check on the egg and he came through the door. The whites looked cooked but the yolk was more dried out.

Chris said he felt like he was coming down with something. I offered him the use of the nebulizer, but he fell asleep on the couch instead. I read more e-mail. I ate fiber gel. I looked at art projects using melted crayons. I ate some fruit and the chia seeds. I looked at more melted crayon art. I worked on my blog.

I made tea and woke Chris. We watched an episode of Criminal Minds and read a chapter of the devotional book. Chris went to bed early. I stayed up till 11, then put on BWE on the headphones and fell asleep in the recliner. When I woke up, I went to bed.

Clipping bushes

Sunday

I got up at 8. Chris was already up. I got dressed and drank hydrogen water. I turned on the sprinklers and moved them every so often. In between I prepared fiber gel. I watered the potted plants with fertilizer. I fertilized the garden. I parsed a week's worth of supplements.

Finally I ate fiber gel. I checked e-mail and messages. I made and ate breakfast. I got dressed and took cheese squares to chapel. I assembled my trombone and talked to the supply pastor. I was exercising my slide and pinched my finger. Later I noticed blood dripping from my hand so I went to wash it off. But some of it stuck to my trombone.

Keli wasn't feeling well so Janet took her place up front. After the praise songs, Bryce said a few things and then the pastor came up and gave his sermon. Then the band (minus Keli) went up to play two hymns.

After the service, people chatted and began to leave. I put away my trombone and made sure all the lights were off. I took the cheese squares and walked out with Jenni. We agreed to walk later. When I got home, I put on my suit and laid out in the sun.

When John texted me to join him on Discord, I came inside. We talked about updating my character sheet and spells for level 10. Then I re-dressed and Jenni came over. She and I walked around my neighborhood. I stopped here and there to clip bushes growing in the sidewalk cracks. Then she went home to get small bills to exchange for 20's.

Chris made mushrooms in the oven. Then he heated up meat and rice for me. The family signed into Discord for the game. We talked about what each of our characters did during 4 weeks of game downtime. I worked on my blog. I submitted orders for more supplements. I tried to keep up with the game and I think I succeeded.

After the game, I worked on my blog. I downloaded pics from my phone and arranged them in folders. I made tea and we watched an episode of Criminal Minds. Then he read a chapter from the devotional book. He went to bed, but I stayed up a little later, though not as late as usual since I wasn't feeling well. However, due to a headache and body aches, I did not sleep. So it was a very long night.

Sun Printing with kids

Saturday

I got up before 8. I turned on the sprinklers, then drank magnesium water, etc. I put on the Kaatsu bands and watered the plants. I moved the sprinklers. I watered the large gopher mound back into the hole, along with copious amounts of coffee grounds. I put a new sprinkler head on the shady side of the house. I went through a box of stuff left in the driveway and sorted what should go to the swap shop and what should go to the sewing class. I moved the sprinklers and came in to hydrate and check e-mail.

Chris and I went to fill up three big jugs of water at the postal building. I dropped off some tiny crochet hooks at the swap shop. Summer said they were ones she didn't have. We went home for a massage. After the massage, Chris took a shower. I laid outside and read, then took a quick shower.

Isadora came over to do the sun-printing project since she had to leave before class started. She made a sun print with feathers and a crocheted scarf. She left it with me as a class sample. I made and ate breakfast. I read messages, then collected items for class.

I went to the chapel for sewing class. But we didn't sew, we made sun printed pictures on fabric. I had the kids put their objects they brought on the fabric and lay glass over them, then place them in the sun for 5 minutes. Then they brought their pieces of fabric to the kitchen and I rinsed the light-sensitive chemical out and added hydrogen peroxide. Then we ironed them dry. I used glass from picture frames and two of the kids asked to keep the frames to display their art.

After they left, I went to 611 to clean for 90 minutes. I found a dead bird in the dryer vent and decided I was done. I texted Jamie and went home. I heated beef for supper, and added sweet potatoes and cabbage leaves. While eating, I read outside for over an hour.

I went to Project Night at 7. Sophia and Isodora came, but they did not want to have rhythm class. Casey sent up Tetris on the large screen TV. I played at least three rounds of Tetris. By 9, we had packed up and gone home.

Chris was still gone – gaming at Michele's. I made tea, and compared prices on EDTA. Chris came home, so we watched one episode of Criminal Minds. Then we put away laundry and dressed the bed. He turned in while I stayed up to blog.

Leak at the kitchen faucet

Friday

I got up at 8. I turned on the sprinklers, then prepared superfoods for the day. I watered the potted plants. I put the small tomato plant in a bag. With my Bible bag in hand, I went to the chapel for Bible study.

No other cars were there so I re-checked the text from Janet. Then I went in. She was in there with her kids, setting up. They had all walked. Other ladies came and we chatted, then read a short chapter from John and discussed it. It went long, and Jenni and Summer had to leave. I stayed to help clean up. We found candy wrappers and crayons under the heavy moving walls. But there were no men to help us move them.

I got home around 11. I headed to 611 to clean. I stopped at Self-Help and chatted with Richard after checking out another sprinkler head. Then I took the tomato plant to Janet and helped her plant it in a pot. We chatted, then I walked over to 611 and cleaned for 30 minutes.

It was after noon when I went home to make and eat breakfast. I made a shopping list. We went to the commissary and back home. Then we went to Tooele for organic food, and to shop at Melanie's. As we headed back to base, I nearly fell asleep. When we got to the front gate, I only had my expired ID. The guard accepted it but kept it. We went home. My current ID was in my car.

Chris put the groceries away. He called about a leak at the kitchen sink. I read e-mail as a guy came over to check it. The guy called a plumber, who was in SLC. I agreed to be home till 8:30. The guy left and Chris went to his game. I ate supper.

Jenni came over to walk. We walked near the house so when we saw the truck come, I could run home. And I did. I showed him the leak. I talked to Jenni for awhile. He fixed it, just needed tightening. After he left, we went walking again. I picked up some trash along the way.

Michele pulled up as we got back to the house. Chris had asked her come over in case the plumber was still here. We all chatted. After they left, I got ready for Game Night. I went to Casey's house. The kids were there and Cedric was being flamboyant. I took pics. I missed him.

I played Indiana Jones and the last crusade. He died a lot and had to be reloaded. Finally I went back to a previous save and worked my way back. I got to the third floor of the castle by 11pm. Then I quit the game, thanked Casey for letting me play and for the garlic that Cedric brought home from Oregon. I went home and worked on my blog. Chris went to bed, and I followed when the post was finished.

Sun printing

Thursday

I got up at nearly 8. I drank hydrogen water. The ground was dry so I turned on the sprinklers. I set the timer for 15 minutes. I looked at videos of sun printing to gain familiarity with the process. I moved the sprinklers and reset the timer. I watched more videos.

At 10 I turned off the sprinklers and went cleaning for almost two hours, finishing the kitchen. I went home to make and eat breakfast while watching The Highwire. It ended around 1:30.

I went back to looking at sun printing videos. I cut a piece of the treated fabric into 4. I placed some leaves on the fabric laying on cardboard. I put glass on top and left it in the sun for 5 minutes. Then I rinsed the fabric in the sink. I added some H2O2 to a pan of water and that really brought out the blue. I patted it with a towel, then ironed it dry. I took a pic and posted it with an announcement on Facebook for Saturday.

I laid out in the sun, but it crested the roof and I was left in shade. I watched more videos, this time using turmeric and alcohol or diluted acrylic paint. They work on a different concept and take longer, but they still work.

I checked out some Telegram videos. Then I put on my swim suit. I went to the Back-to-school pool party. I talked to the staff. I saw Chris in the gym and talked to him. Kenzie asked me to open the swap shop for her on Saturday. Then I went and swam with Jenni for over an hour.

I went home, and changed clothes. I put supper in the toaster oven. I read e-mail till it was hot. I watched Off-the-Record. Chris came in and we discussed several things. Amazingly, we were both on the same side of every issues.

I made tea. We watched an episode of Criminal Minds. Then I worked on my blog. He went to bed and I followed after I finished.

Interruptions

Wednesday

I got up before 7:30. I watered the plants and checked out some gopher mounds. I got ready for coffee morning. As I was reading, the electricity flickered. The timer was fine, but the CD player reset. So I restarted the music. I meditated and tapped. Someone texted me wanting to get into the swap shop. I told her I couldn't do it before noon. So I gave her Jenni's number and went back to tapping. Later I got a text from Tara asking me if I could open it at 11:15. I also got a text from the lady saying noon was fine.

I cleaned the bathrooms and kitchen. I went to the swap shop and unlocked it. I waited a bit. The salon lady's granddaughter came over to drop off something. So I went over there to thank her. Then I got into a conversation until a customer came in. The lady I was waiting for hadn't come, so I turned off the lights but left the door unlocked and went home.

As I was cleaning, I got a call from Emily. She found the door unlocked and the lights on. It seemed like someone had been there, so I told her to lock it. But an hour later, the lady called me to say she was going over there. So I jumped in my car and went to unlock it. She had a bunch of stuff to put in, then she left and I locked it and went home.

I finished cleaning. I laid out in the sun. I took a shower. I folded some wash cloths from previous cleanings. I read some e-mail. I went to the library to return a book, check out another book, make copies and pick up a carton of eggs. Then I stopped by Emily's office to thank her for calling me.

I took the eggs home. I went to Coyote Cove and parked in the driveway of the house we just had inspected. Then I walked over to Mustang to clean at 611. Their street was being sealed. Jamie was there. We talked a little, and cleaned a lot. 2 hours. Then I walked back to my car and went home.

I started hardboiling eggs. CJ messaged me about bringing eggs tomorrow. So I put some empty boxes in a bag on the front door. I ate three small eggs. Chris came home from work. He said there was no Mass tonight. Then he went over to see John and Michele.

I put on the Kaatsu bands. I finished steaming a third batch of eggs. I put another egg box in the bag. I hooked up the weed-eater attachment to the mower and cut down a stand of tall weeds in two places. Then I did some mowing. I put the mower away.

I called Jenni to see if she wanted to walk. Yes. So she put on her shoes and came over. The wind was whipping up, but we walked around the block, talking all the way. Then she went home.

I worked on my blog. I texted with Michelle and checked Telegram messages. I made tea and we watched one episode of Criminal Minds. Afterward, Chris went to bed and I stayed up to read messages.

Filling backpacks

Tuesday

I woke up early, not sure why. I got up when my alarm went off. I drank hydrogen water and took supplements. I went out to water the potted plants. I watered the grass alongside the house. I filled in the gopher holes from yesterday – first with coffee grounds and then with dirt. Since there were no new ones, the pellets probably worked. I spread the rest of the dirt on the lawn. I also spread the rest of the coffee grounds in places where gophers tend to populate.

I came in to check e-mail, but the internet was down. I refilled the Green Pastures bottle with the Rosita bottle because it was easier to dispense. I found replacements for the supplements that were running out. I sewed a little pocket on the back of my potholder and put in the magnet that it used to hang on. I ate some hardboiled eggs. The internet was back up, so I checked e-mail and read messages. I watched a video where soldiers posted video clips of themselves torturing and killing Palestinians and rejoicing over it. Sick.

I went to 611 for a signover. I was going to park in Michele's driveway next door, but her car was in it (instead of in the garage). The nerve! So I had to park on the street. I stayed to clean for an hour and 40 minutes, then went home for lunch.

After eating fiber gel, I laid out and read. Then I made and ate breakfast. I read e-mail. I went back to clean for 2 hours. Boy, that stove is greasy! And the dried grease that ran down the sides is impossible to get off.

I went home and ate the rest of the fiber gel. I put supper in the toaster oven. I changed clothes, then ate supper. Chris came home. I got in his car and we went to the Keech room. They were serving ice cream. We joined the volunteers who were filling backpacks with donated pens, pencils, notebooks, etc. When they were all filled, we went back to the main room to socialize and to welcome the new colonel and his wife. I talked to Jenni, then to Eryne and finally to Ria. Sounds like events are being planned.

All the tables and chairs got packed up. So we left. I traded money with Jenni, who had lots of ones and fives from bagging at the commissary. Since I get paid in 20's, it was nice to have some smaller denominations.

We came home. I ate cheese and frozen watermelon. I looked through my sewing files for the next sewing project. Finally I worked on my blog and made tea. We watched one episode of Criminal Minds. Later he went to bed, but I stayed up to catch up on e-mail.

Problematic Privacy Policy

Monday

I got up about 7:15. My left arm hurt really badly from some suboptimal sleep position. I used the faecal sample kit that the insurance company sent to check for blood. I got dressed, took supplements, etc, and went out to water. The in-ground sprinklers had done their job, so all I had to do was water the potted plants. That, and deal with new gopher mounds. I dug them up and put in poison pellets.

I filled out the paperwork on the sample kit and it said that by submitting my sample I was agreeing to their privacy policy. More like a no-privacy policy. I called my insurance company and they said the lab company didn't have much information to give away. They also said I could throw out the kit if I felt I didn't need the test. I read e-mail and articles. I cut up ginger root and froze it for future tea. I listened to more of a 4 hour interview with former presidential advisor who talked about physics and covert UFO material. He said the UFO's are attracted to atomic blasts and that's how they catch them.

Chris came home early to make lunch. He ran the dishwasher which I had filled. I ate fiber gel, then laid out in the sun for longer than I intended. So I was late making and eating breakfast. I listened to more of the interview and wore the Kaatsu bands. I are frozen watermelon. I chatted with the man working on a distant sprinkler. Jamie called at 2:45. I went over to check out the house. We found a few spots and cleaned them. When the inspectors didn't show up, I called. Later they came over, took pics, and signed the paperwork. They found a few things we missed.

Then I went to the swap shop to see Jenni. She gave me my thumb drive. She saw some bins there that she thought Michele would like. So I took a pic and sent it to Michele and she responded 'yes'. So we put them in Jenni's car. I went home to eat more frozen watermelon and have supper before band.

I took Keli's altered clothes and went to the chapel. She was already inside. Doc was there so we got started. Then Jenni and Janet came. Lastly, Russel came to listen and offer advice. We played through the hymns, Cabaret, Memory, and some Octoberfest tunes. I ended the practice and did some errands while Keli and Doc played through some praise music.

I went home to drink and drop off my trombone. Then I met Kenzie and Janet at the garden. We planted irises that Kenzie dug up from an empty house that had too many. The kids helped us plant. Then Kenzie and I went to see the other plots and discuss garden issues.

When I got home it was after 8. I ate chia seed water and worked on my blog. Then I made tea and we watched an episode of Criminal Minds. I dozed off so Chris didn't read from the devotional book. Later he went to bed. I finished the interview and checked e-mail. Then I went to bed.

Enduring the game

Sunday

Chris' alarm went off at 7 and he got up. I stayed in bed till 7:30. I got up and went out to see if I needed to run the sprinklers. But the ground looked damp. So I watered a few plants, and checked for something online. Then I joined Chris and we went to pick up Michele. Then three of us went to the gym. Michele and I worked out on machines. Chris carried weights up and down the hall. Then he and Michele used the treadmills. Finally we took her home and went home ourselves.

I watered the rest of the plants. I worked on the cover letter that Michelle wrote. I tried to keep it like she wrote it but with the few additions that were expected. I put it on a thumb drive.

I ate fiber gel, then laid out in the sun and read. Then I came in and made and ate breakfast. Afterward, I got ready for church. Chris took a shower. I took the cheese squares and headed to church. I had left the music and trombone there last night.

I left the cheese squares on the back table. I spoke to several people. I assembled my trombone. Chris showed up and spoke to some new people I saw in the back. I think they are here for the paving project. Later he joined me up front.

Keli led the praise songs. Then the visiting chaplain Jeff, led us in communion. He followed that with a sermon. Then Keli and I went up for the hymns. When Jenni and Leliani and Doc had joined us, I announced the first hymn and we played it. Then I announced the second one and we played that too. The chaplain said a few words and a prayer. That concluded the service. There was chatting all around.

After Chris left, I told Jenni that I wanted to show her the letter and see what she thought. So I took her home while her husband ran a quick errand. I put the thumb drive in the tower and called up the file. As she read it, her husband came home and read it too. His opinion was that we should let Michelle write her own letter. Jenni invited me to water aerobics.

I went home to hydrate and change clothes. Then I went to the pool to join Jenni. No one else had come so we had the pool to ourselves. We exercised and talked to the lifeguards. Then we got out, dried off and headed to the parking lot. There we got a good look at the cherry trees. They had so many tall suckers that it looked terrible. So I got a pair of clippers from my trunk and we cut down most of them. It was hard work so we didn't get it all done.

I went home. Chris was heating up supper for me. After we ate, it was time for the game to start. The others signed in. We chatted a bit about other things, then started discussing the game. It seemed to me that there was no action happening. They were discussing what the next move should be, how to handle this or that. There was very little dice rolling. I got bored and started looking at art videos to find something suitable for a community project. But after the game ended, Chris told me that we did indeed move the story line along.

We discussed that for awhile, then I made tea and we watched an episode of Criminal Minds. He read a chapter from the devotional book and we started answering the questions. We got off on a tangent and it sparked quite a discussion. I tried to explain the difference between two people having a conversation that moves in tandem, and two people conversing and butting heads. But he could not understand that. He thought we were doing the first but to me it felt like we were doing the second. Finally he went to bed and I sat down to write my blog.

Gopher mounds

Saturday

I got up after 7:30. Chris was getting ready to go work out with Michele. I got dressed, took supplements, etc. I went out to start the sprinklers, but I could tell that the yard had already been watered. HOWEVER, there were 4 new gopher mounds. So I watered the plants with the vinegar/eggshell fertilizer. Then I found a hole in one mound and dropped some pellets into it. I plugged it with the pellet container which is perfectly shaped for that. I scooped most of the largest one into a bucket. I found the hole and ran water into it. I washed all the remaining dirt back into the hole. Then it filled up.

I moved to the third hole. It took me awhile to find the hole, but it was big and deep. I ran water for some time. I washed the dirt back into the hole. I also washed a big bag of coffee grounds into it. And still it was not full. I wondered if the hole had an outlet to the aquifer. I guess if the tap water starts tasting like coffee, we'll know.

I dealt with the fourth hole and got rid of all the dirt. I went inside, where Chris was drinking coffee after his workout. I washed up, then read e-mail till he was done. He gave me a coconut oil massage, then took his shower. I waited a bit, then laid out in the sun and read. I heard him drive away. When I came in, I took a shower. When I dried off, he was back. No one had come to the game.

I ate fiber gel and read some messages. I worked on my blog. I made and ate breakfast. I put together the cleaning items I thought I needed. Then I headed out. Gary flagged me down as I passed his new house. We talked about viewing his old house and seeing what cleaning would be in order.

So I was late getting to Tina's house. She wanted me to clean the two bathrooms. But we chatted first. Then I put vinegar in the toilets to soak and cleaned the shower. Then I did the vanities and parts of walls. I also vacuumed the throw rugs which were full of cat hair and kitty litter. She paid me and we talked some more. Then we went down to the gate for her to show me how to close the two sides. I would have taken her back to the house but she preferred to walk. We chatted some more. She told me about how badly the dogs had attacked her. Finally I closed the gate and she walked back to the house.

I went home to hydrate and have fiber gel. Gary said he was at his old house, so I drove over there. I parked in Michele's driveway and walked next door. He and I walked around the house and looked through the bathrooms and bedrooms and kitchen. I quoted him $400 and said we would refund whatever we didn't use. We talked about the signing process.

Then he mentioned how the new house had a stain in the carpet. So I agreed to follow him over there. But Michele was coming to get me because she couldn't leave her garage. She and I talked to her neighbor for some time. Then I headed out and she went to the commissary.

I stopped at Gary's new house. He showed me the stain and it looked more like wear and tear to me. But I agreed that a shampooing should improve it. Then I went home. I drank water, then had supper. Chris had been slowroasting the beef shanks all day and they were much more tender. I also had zucchini and rice and a carrot.

Then I gathered my trombone, music, fabric for Jamie's skirt and kombucha. I went to the chapel and unlocked the door. Michele arrived just as I was unlocking the back door. She showed me what she wanted to make next. Then Jenni arrived with some clothes to work on. The three of us chatted through the evening. Michele helped me mark the fabric for the circle skirt. I also cut a waistband. She left about 9. Jenni and I packed up and chatted till after 9:30. Then we each went home.

I took supplements and worked on my blog. I forwarded an e-mail from Beadaholique to Jenni in case she wants to shop their going out of business sale. I put laundry away, then we dressed the bed. Chris went to bed, but I stayed up to rehydrate and finish my blog.

Thwarted game night

Friday

I got up before 7:30. I got dressed and brushed. I took supplements, etc. I turned on the sprinklers. I watered the plants. I got a few rounds of sprinkling in before I had to head to the chapel for Bible Study.

Janet and Summer were already there. Later Katie and Jenni joined us. We talked about water quality, then we read through the first chapter of John and discussed it. Summer and Jenni left. The rest of us chatted. Then I turned off all the lights, even the ones that shouldn't have been on. I also locked the doors which Janet found unlocked when she arrived.

It was almost 11 when I got home. I parsed out a week's worth of supplements. I ate fiber gel, then made more breakfast mix. So I was late actually making and eating breakfast.

After breakfast, I laid out in the sun and read for awhile. Then I came in. We got ready and went to the commissary for groceries. Jenni was there bagging. We took our food home and put it away. Then we went to Tooele for figs and organic fruit. Melanie's did not have what I was looking for. We got figs at Macey's, then headed back to base, listening to the book on CD.

I read e-mail while Chris cooked beef shanks. I wore the Kaatsu arm bands and went out to cut down weeds around a tree. When I came in, the shanks were done. I ate one, but there were lots of bites I couldn't chew. I put those back in the toaster oven to cook some more, and promptly forgot about them.

I prepared for game night. I made tea and took notes. I put on long pants. I went over to Casey's house at 8:30. The lonely cat greeted me. Since they were visiting Michelle, I turned on the TV and the raspberry pie in order to play the game. But the pie didn't respond to the game boy controller. I tried plugging and unplugging, jiggling this and that. But finally I put everything back the way it was and went home, locking the door.

Chris was surprised to see me. But he was willing to watch Criminal Minds. I turned off the toaster oven and we watched one episode. Then I worked on my blog. Later Chris went to bed. I stayed up to listen to BWE and piece puzzles.

Getting some sewing out of the way

Thursday

I got up at 8. I got ready for the day. I turned on the sprinklers and moved them around every so often. I even ran one in the back yard for a bit. I watered the plants. I checked e-mail and messages. I finished up several 'rabbit holes'. I ate a can of salmon. Later I ate half of the fiber gel. I put on my suit and turned off the sprinklers, then laid in the sun and finished my book. I turned on The Highwire and made breakfast. I ate as I watched. I put on the Kaatsu bands. I cut up stuff for the compost. I emptied the vacuum cup and tapped dirt out of the filter. I steamed the large kale leaves. I added figures for VMIS for July. I walked to the post office to get the mail. Only junk mail, sadly.

When I got back, I read messages until Keli came over. She tried on the dress and the shirt. The dress was fine, but the shirt had to be let back out at the hips. So I cut off the extra fabric on the dress. I drew a compound curve at the waist and stitched those seams again. Then I re-threaded the serger with light thread. It was a bear!

I serged the shirt seams and then the dress. Then I turned my attention to Jamie's next skirt. I cut out a band, stitched the ends, folded it in half longways, and quartered it. I sewed it into the center of the circle skirt. I threaded 1” elastic through it and stitched up the opening and all around the band again. Then I saw the fabric had gotten caught so I had to take some stitching out and redo it.

I texted Jamie that her second skirt was ready. I sat at my laptop to read. I ate fiber gel and worked on my blog. I put liver, sweet potato and kale in a bowl in the toaster oven. I read outside till it was hot. Then I came in and got the bowl and ate outside.

Later I made tea. We watched one episode of Criminal Minds, then read from the devotional book. Chris went to bed, but I stayed up to read.

Clearing up little tasks

Wednesday

I woke up before 7:30. I got up and brushed my teeth. I drank hydrogen water and went out to start the sprinklers. I watered the plants. I prepared for coffee morning. After meditation and tapping, I cleaned the bathrooms. I laid out in the sun and read. I took a shower. I washed dishes and cleaned the kitchen. I read e-mail. Eryne came over to borrow Hitchhikers Guide.

I hardboiled two batches of eggs, cut up and steamed 4 sweet potatoes, and made a batch of cheese squares. I washed all the turmeric root that Michelle bought me and let it dry. Then I cut it up and froze it in several bags. I walked to the post office to get the mail.

Soon after I got back home, Chris came home from work. He made his supper and ate in front of his laptop. I read the latest e-mail, then checked out the garden. I was there when the sprinkler came on. I tweaked it a little to make sure everything got covered and yet the pathways stayed dry. I noted that Jenni's plot was so full of weeds that her sprinkler could not reach the front row or the back row.

I came home. I went outside to read, wearing the Kaatsu bands. Then I worked on my blog. I made tea. We watched one episode of Criminal Minds. Chris went to bed, but I stayed up to listen to interviews and piece puzzles.

Water sampling

Tuesday

I got up at 7:30. I got ready for the day. I took a water sample from the kitchen faucet, then ran the faucet while I turned on the sprinklers. Then I took another water sample. I watered the plants, moved the sprinklers, etc. The paper towel was still dry, so the in-ground sprinklers had not come on.

I filled out the paperwork for the water samples. I used the chlorine test strip but I could not match it to the color chart because the little blocks were not an even color. I put the samples back in the box and put the Fedex label on the box. I read e-mail and checked messages. I hunted all over for Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, but could not find it.

I was going to go to the chapel to work on Kelly's dress and top. But that didn't happen. I peeled hardboiled eggs and put them in pickling juice. I ate three of them because they didn't peel well. Then I laid outside to read in the sun. But then I remembered Jenni said the Fedex truck would come to the commissary around noon and she would let me know since she was working there.

So I went inside where I could hear the phone. I made and ate breakfast. I read articles and finished a couple of interviews. I went to the library to make copies of music. Keli made them for me. I chatted with Janet.

Then Jenni called. She said there was a building where I could drop off the Fedex package but I didn't know where it was. She said she would come over at 3:30 and take me there. It was about three, so I went to the chapel to start work on Keli's clothes. I left at 3:30 and went home to wait for Jenni. While waiting, I scattered a bag of coffee around the front and side yard. Keli came by with two dozen eggs. I gave her a bag of coffee to make dinosaur eggs.

Then Jenni texted that no one had come in to take the next shift (of bagging at the commissary). I found a map and was going to take it to Jenni to point out the building. Then she called to say the Fedex truck was at the commissary right then. So I ran in the house and got the package. I drove over to the commissary and saw Jenni talking to the driver. As soon I drove up, Jenni left. I handed the package to the driver and she said it was acceptable. We chatted a moment and then we both left.

I went back to the chapel to finish marking and pinning and sewing. Then I texted Keli that I needed her to try on the clothes. I packed up, turned off the lights, and went home. I jotted notes for my blog. Chris came home from work and made himself supper. He cooked zucchini and rice for me. I read outside for while. When I came in, I ate those with half of the remaining liver.

I made tea. I noticed the sprinklers on so I went outside to observe. The ones along the house were not active. Then we watched one episode of Criminal Minds and read a chapter from the last devotional book. He went to bed. I read for awhile, then I got ready for bed, too.

Why my garden doesn't grow

Monday

I got up at 7:45. I drank hydrogen water and took supplements. I watered the plants and did other things around the lawn. I checked e-mail. I talked to Jamie about cleaning. I ate two eggs and went to the post office. Then I stopped by Jenni's house to show her the box Keli had given me. She picked all the yarn from the box and a bunch of the crocheted hangers.

I went to 628 to clean spots on walls, some baseboards and mop the den. I went home for fiber gel. I laid outside in the sun and read my book. I made and ate breakfast, I read e-mail articles and checked messages.

At 2:35, I went to 628 with a clean cloth for inspection. Jamie was there finishing up. I went in and looked around for any missed spots. The inspectors came, but Jamie told them she had covid. So they said to reschedule because they didn't want to come in the house after she'd been cleaning there.

They left. She and I talked. She got some crochet hooks from the box. I went to the swap shop to drop off all the hangers – some bare and some covered with crocheted yarn.

I went home. I read more e-mail. I laid on the lounge and read a book – so relaxing. I came in and ate fiber gel and cheese. Chris came home from work. I went to the chapel for band.

When I opened the chapel door, only Caleb was there, with an amp to try out with a guitar. I put away stuff in the fellowship hall to clear it out for the new chaplain. Finally Janet arrived with her daughter, then Keli. Mr Dent came, so we played for him and he commented on how are playing could be better. Jenni came even though it was her 35th anniversary.

After practice, Kenzie stayed to talk to me about the soil test report. The salinity was too high. She had a list of plants that don't do well in salt, and those that tolerate it. She explained that I needed to flood my garden with 6 inches of water to wash the salt out.

When I got home, I heated liver in the toaster oven with chopped peppers and some small cabbage leaves. I read more e-mail and Telegram messages. I wrote to my blog. I put a paper towel over one of the sprinkler heads so I could tell in the morning if the sprinkler had been on.

I made tea and we watched one episode of Criminal Minds. Then Chris read the first chapter of the 4th devotional book. He went to bed. I stayed up to read on my laptop. Then I got ready for bed.

Missing music

Sunday

I got up 7:45. I drank hydrogen water, and then water with minerals. I turned on the sprinklers, then watered the plants. I moved the sprinklers and dealt with some gopher mounds. I moved the sprinklers again, etc. I took supplements and cleaned up in the kitchen - generally put stuff away. I planted some sprouted stuff from the kitchen window.

I wore the Kaatsu bands. I turned off the sprinklers. I ate fiber gel, then laid outside for 20 minutes. I made and ate breakfast, then got dressed for church. Saronna messaged that she was not coming.

I took cheese squares to church. I discovered that my music missing. We picked other hymns. Then we all gathered to sing Praise songs. The visiting chaplain had communion, then gave the sermon. The band played two hymns and church was over.

I picked up the last of the paintings. I gave one to Bryce to deliver to Command. Jenni and I delivered two more. I gave Anca my cheese squares as well. We walked back to our cars and agreed to meet at 4 for walking.

I changed clothes. I talked to Chris. I read e-mail, and worked on VMIS hours for July. I jotted notes for my blog. Then I drove over to the school. I walked with Jenni up and down the streets. We stopped at Saronna's house to pick the music I left behind. When I got home, I drank kombucha to cool off.

I signed in to Discord for the game. We chatted for awhile and played the game. I don't think we got very far. During that time, I heated liver and greens in the oven. I ate at my laptop. After the game, I worked on my blog. We watched one episode of Criminal Minds. I put away the laundry that Chris had washed and folded. He went to bed, but I stayed up to read online. At 11, I went to bed.

Just when I thought I couldn't get any busier

Saturday

I got up before 7:30. I drank hydrogen water and took supplements. I turned on the sprinklers. I watered the plants and moved the sprinklers, etc. I made full-size cardboard templates of the pattern pieces that were marked 'cut on fold'.

I checked e-mail while wearing the Kaatsu bands. I went to 628 to clean for 90 minutes, finishing up the kitchen. Then I went home for fiber gel, and to take a shower. Then I made and ate breakfast.

While I was reading e-mail, Jamie called. She said she was sick and needed me to help more with the cleaning of 628. I went to the commissary for comestibles. I put them away, then hurried to the chapel for sewing class.

At first it was just Saronna's three oldest. I had them pick their fabrics, then trace the templates and cut them out. Then Jenni and Isadora showed up. So I got them started. Jenni repaired a laundry bag that belonged to her husband, then she started on the hat. Wilhelm could not stay on task, so I traced things for him to cut out. Then I sewed his crowns while he did the other layers. Only Sophia managed to finish her hat by 4pm.

As we started packing up, Keli came with a dress that she wanted taken in. She tried it on and I was going to pin it, when it occurred to me that it would be easier to just copy the width of a dress that fits her. So she took her dress home.

I went home to change clothes. Then I went cleaning again for 90 minutes. That made a full 4 hours for the day. I went home for a quick supper, then back to the chapel.

At first I was alone, then MeryAnn and Jenni came. As I was chatting with them, Isadora and Sophia came. They worked on Isadora's hat, which was just like mine since she picked the same fabrics.

Leilani came in to say she and her mother were waiting for rhythm class. So Sophia, Isadora and I went to the sanctuary. I had forgotten my class music, so we all played from Sophia's sheet (which she never takes home).

Just before class was finished, Keli came. I dismissed class. She brought her dress and a shirt (to be altered) along with a dress that fits. She gave me a box of yarn, needles, and project books. She also gave me a basket of similar stuff, then she left. I took the basket into the fellowship hall. We chatted and I help Jenni finish. Casey put Tetris up on the big screen for me to play. I made it to level 7.

Isadora finished her hat and then Jenni finished hers. I took pics of them. Then we started packing up. MeryAnn helped a lot. Isadora followed me out to my car to see the yarn in the big box. She selected a few and joined her dad in his car and them went home.

I went home and worked on my blog. I checked e-mail and messages. Then I listened to soothing music and pieced puzzles. After 11, I quit and went to bed.

Finished the project enough to take a pic

Friday

I got up after 7:30, not having heard the alarm. I had slept fairly well. I got dressed and went out to turn on the sprinklers. I drank hydrogen water and took probiotics. I moved the sprinklers. I turned on my phone. I watered the plants, which were not so dry now the the in-ground sprinklers had come back on.

I took my Bible and Chinese tea and went to the chapel. I was alone so I texted Janet, then went inside. I unlocked the doors. All the lights were on so I turned them off. Janet and two others arrived. We got tea, chatted, then finished the book of Luke and took a quiz. We chatted some more. Janet and Summer picked up their paintings. I showed Leilani the paint peelings, but she wasn't as fascinated as Isadora was.

I went home a little before 11. I ate fiber gel, then worked on the bucket hat. I finished the lining, then made and ate breakfast. Michelle called and we talked. She said her husband and daughter were meeting her in SLC for lunch. I assumed it was for her birthday.

I finished the hat and took pics so I could post the class on Facebook. I read e-mail. I laid out in the sun. I chopped up a bunch of purple cabbage. I threw it in a batch of cheese squares that are meant for Michelle. While the cheese squares were baking, I heard Jamie mowing outside. After I pulled them from the oven, I tried to get her attention but she had already started next door. I drove over to 628 to clean that kitchen for Jamie. I spent 2.5 hours and got most of it done.

I stopped by the garden to check the irrigation. Then I went home and ate fiber gel. I worked on my blog. I heated liver in the toaster oven. After eating, I prepared a bottle of tea. Then I got in the car and headed to Game Night. But just as I was pulling out, Jamie walked up from the back yard. So we talked about cleaning 628.

Then I proceeded to Casey's house. He and Isadora were there. I handed over the batch of cheese squares for him to give Michelle for her birthday. He had tumeric roots and dried cabbage for me. Indiana Jones was already on the TV. So I loaded the last saved game and started to play. After a while, I peeked at the notes I had taken with my phone. He called Michelle so she could participate in the conversation. But there wasn't much chitchat and she went to bed.

Indy (under my direction) died several times navigating the German castle. So I saved the game and called it a night 10 minutes early. I thanked him and headed home. When I got there, I took supplements and went to bed.

Making the first half of the sewing project

Thursday

I got up after 7:30. I got dressed and went out to start the sprinklers. I made fertilizer and gave some to all the plants at home. I filed a report to ArMA because sprinklers were not coming on.

I made breakfast mix and parsed supplements for the week. I re-wrote Michelle's cover letter, then her husband decided not to send it. I ate fiber gel, and later made breakfast. I laid out in the sun. I wore the Kaatsu bands for the usual two rounds.

I went to the library for eggs and to ask what Keli needed done to her dress. When I got home, I hardboiled several batches of eggs. I tried to print the pattern for the bucket hat but the old computer would not boot up. So I went back to the library with my thumb drive. Melissa printed out the patterns for me. They were slightly larger than the 1” mark.

When I got home, I made copies. Then I cut out the smallest version and glued them to cardboard. I picked some fabrics, one was orange and the other had sunflowers. All the pieces needed to be cut on the fold. I fiddled with that to use up scraps and the least amount of fabric possible. I don't think the kids can (or would) do that.

I took a break to eat a supper consisting of liver and some greens from the tower garden. Then I sewed the 5 pieces of the outer fabric together and put it on my head. It did not look finished enough to take a pic. I made a salad. I searched for TTFD, a form of thiamine. When I found a version of it that didn't have silicon dioxide, I bought it.

I read e-mail for quite some time and listened to interviews. It was after 9 when I left the house and noted that the sprinklers were on. I went to John and Michele's house to put out food and water for the cat. I stayed to read a book for 30 minutes. Mostly the cat rolled around on my shoes and walked off.

When I got home, I read online for awhile, then went to bed.

One down, two to go

Wednesday

I got up just before 7:30. Chris had liver slow-roasting in the oven. I dressed and went out to start the sprinklers and water the plants. I came in and got ready for Coffee Morning, then went out to move the sprinklers. I could tell that the in-ground sprinklers haven't come on for a few days.

I proceeded with Coffee morning. After meditating and tapping, I cleaned the bathrooms and started on the kitchen. John came over with a key so I could check on the cat. Chris came home at lunch time to have lunch and take the liver out to cool. Then he left to pick up John and Michele and drive to the airport.

After cleaning, I laid out in the sun and read a book. Then I took a shower. I walked to the swap shop to take pics, and to pick up my mail. When I got back, I wore the Kaatsu bands while checking messages and reading e-mail. Anca texted that she was going to be able to open the swap shop this afternoon after all.

Jamie didn't show up, so I figured I had time. I called Isadora about helping me carry two 5-gallon jugs. But just then Jamie texted that she would be here in half an hour. I quickly picked up Isadora and took her to the water machine at the post office. I filled the two jugs and she put them in my car. Then I drove us home and she brought the water bottles inside. I offered her some paints that were donated to me, and took her home. She invited me to the pool later. I also gave her dad a bag of coffee grounds.

Jamie got to my house just before I did. I tried to pay her for previous cleaning, but she wanted me to keep it for making the skirts. I took her inside to my sewing room and she was impressed. I had her try on the skirt and she said it fit, so I sewed off the elastic and closed the band. She loved twirling in it. Then we discussed yard work and cleaning and other stuff. I gave her a bag of coffee grounds.

After she left, I came inside to jot notes and to check if I needed to do anything else. Michelle called and seemed to be in a bitter mood. Isadora texted that she was going to the pool. So Michelle hung up and I put on my suit and headed out.

Isadora was throwing a ball with a mother and daughter in the pool. They let me join in. We had a good time. Then, like 5 or 10 minutes before closing, Saronna came with her kids. Wilhelm joined in with us. I think the lifeguard gave us a few extra minutes. So when he called time, I got right out and dried off. The kids took a lot longer.

I went home to take another shower. I got dressed and read e-mail. Michelle called again, but in a much better mood. Then Chris called from the hotel, so I talked to him and Michele and John. Since they were on EST, I hung up presently.

I cleared some more e-mail, then worked on my blog. Finally I went to bed.

Third party inspection

Tuesday

I got up hearing my alarm at 8. I had used the headphones and think I slept well. It was cloudy and overcast. I got dressed and turned on the sprinklers. I drank hydrogen water and took supplements. I moved the sprinkler heads.

I looked for Happy Birthday in the right key for sax. But to get a reasonable one, I had to change the trombone and piano part to another key. I copied from the screen.

I put on the Kaatsu bands, then washed the greens from Jenni's garden. I peeled and ate two eggs. I cleaned a smaller jar and put the pickled egg juice in it. Then I put as many hardboiled eggs in it as would fit.

I ate fiber gel, then went to the chapel to pick up the extra canvasses. I returned them to ACS, and picked up my two flyers. I stopped at the post office, then went home and made breakfast and ate it. I jotted notes for my blog so I could cross those things off my to-do list,

I delivered a bag of greens to Casey. Isadora helped me place the large leaves on the freeze-dryer trays. Then I went to play with Saronna and Randy. We did the hymns first, then went on to Happy Birthday. Somehow the piano/trombone part was written wrong – not sure how I wrote it in F when the key signature was Efl. Anyway, we made some progress although I had to transpose down a whole tone on each note.

I went home. I read e-mail till a man came for inspection. He was looking for maintenance issues. Chris came home just after he got here and talked to the guy the whole time. I don't think he found any. Chris went back to work. I kept reading. I called Jamie about the fitting and we agreed on tomorrow afternoon.

I put rice and cauliflower and eggs in the toaster oven, then went out to mow the back yard. When I came in, the eggs were still not cooked, so I mowed part of the front lawn, too. Then I came in and ate supper. I listened to a tapping video. Anca messaged me asking me to open the swap shop for her tomorrow. I worked on my blog. Then we watched one episode of Criminal Minds and read the last chapter of the devotional book. Chris went to bed and I stayed up to read a little more online.

Assistant director?

Monday

I got up after hearing my alarm go off. I got ready for the day, then started the sprinklers. I watered the plants. I looked up the meaning of crispy leaves on strawberries (could be anything). Reading Telegram messages sent me down the rabbit hole of cars collecting data on their drivers and sending to the companies who then sell it.

I posted for band practice on the Facebook pages. I picked hymns for Sunday. I wore the Kaatsu bands while hemming the skirt for Jamie. I sent her a message to come for a fitting. I ate fiber gel.

I made and ate breakfast. I read e-mail. I laid out in the sun for 15 minutes. I went to the library to return some DVD's and pick up two cartons of eggs. I went by and picked up Isadora. I brought her to my house where she sawed down some small trees that are shading my sunning spot.

We went to the chapel to clean up after Paint Night. Some paintings still had wet paint under them so we propped them up on PVC fittings. We peeled up the dried paint that had dripped off the paintings. They had cool swirls. Isadora took some peelings home to decorate her fingernails with. She also took her paintings home.

I took her home, then I went home. I read messages and ate fiber gel. I checked e-mail. I made and ate supper. I mowed the worst of the backyard, then went to band practice. We got set up. Mr. Dent came in as we were playing through our first hymn. He helped us practice the hymns and “I Will Call Upon the Lord” and “Cabaret”. Saronna had to leave, but the rest of us stayed to play through it one more time. Then we chatted for awhile. Kenzie came to pick up her husband. Jenni took her back to pick up her painting, which was awesome! So was Jenni's.

When I got home, I mixed up some plant spray using milk. The milk was bad so I tried to filter out all the lumps. I sprayed the garden. I also hung the sign Michelle made. I picked Jenni's cabbage leaves which she said she didn't want. I also picked some mint. When I got home, I sprayed my outdoor potted plants.

I worked on my blog, made tea and we watched one episode of Criminal Minds. We read from the devotional book. Chris went to bed. I stayed up to message Michelle and to post about picking up the dry paintings.

Reber Reunion

Sunday

It was after 8:30 when I got up. I took supplements and got dressed. I went out to turn on the sprinklers and then to water the plants. I turned on my phone. I moved the sprinklers, then whipped up a batch of cheese squares. I used 4 small eggs, bacon and red peppers. I moved the sprinklers again. The cheese squares came out dark. I washed up and dressed for church. I put cheese squares in a small container. I took my trombone and music to the chapel and got them set up. Then I came home and made breakfast.

I used the Zoom link sent by the reunion secretary at 11. A couple other people signed in that way as well. In the chat, she said it would be another 20 minutes. So I had time to eat my breakfast. I could see people at the reunion finishing up their meal.

Then the business meeting started. They started calling out the sons of Jonathan. I wanted to indicate which son we were the descendant of, but I couldn't get the camera to work. Chris came in and helped me. It was the external camera that came on, not the built-in one.

Anyway, the main discussion was over rebuilding the entrance to the Reber cemetery. Quite expensive since we didn't do it years ago. And it has to be moved because the current owner of that land doesn't want it rebuilt where it is. Lots of accidents happen near there because of the sharp turn.

After the meeting, they turned the sound off. Faye came up and waved at me. Kurt never made an appearance. Then the other Zoom people signed out. So I signed off as well. I had a few moments to taste the cheese squares before I headed to church.

When I got to the chapel, I laid the cheese squares in the back and went up front to play my trombone very very softly as a warmup. I chatted with Keli. She said there were girls that go snooping through the kitchen during the service. Then she went up front to get the service started with three praise songs.

I walked out during the third song to check. The three girls were in the fellowship hall messing with the paintings from last night. I yelled at them quietly but intensely and they left quickly. I went back to finish the song. Saronna passed me in the hall and said I had her full support.

Then Popken introduced the supply chaplain for today – from Fort Carson. He got up and spoke about the importance of staying connected to Jesus. He compared disconnection to a smart fridge when the internet goes down.

After his sermon, the band got up and played two hymns. Then I dismissed the congregation. I talked to Saronna and Keli and Jenni. Later I asked the doctor if the base clinic was testing for MTBE or styrene. He said no, only PFAS.

I took the cheese squares and went home. I read messages. I changed into my suit and laid out on the grass. Chris cooked mushrooms in the oven. At 5 the game started. We all signed into Discord.

We finished exploring the giant's castle and we looted what we could carry. Then we locked the doors and set guards so we could sleep through the night. However, Astrid convinced the dragon to be her mount. They flew out to find the giant Queen. Astrid came back to wake Gravewarden to sneek into the camp and slay the queen. Then Astrid and the dragon terrorized the camp so all the guards and ladies maids would run away. She came back and got totally drunk and fell asleep, which is the condition we found her in when we woke up.

After the game, I worked on my blog post. I made tea and we watched an episode of Criminal Minds. He went to bed and I stayed up a little later to read and close some windows before going to bed.

Fluid Paint Pour

Saturday

I didn't fall asleep last night till dawn. Wearing headphones helped, so I should have done it much sooner. The combination of rumination and restless leg didn't help. I brushed my teeth, dressed, and turned on the sprinklers. I drank hydrogen water and took supplements.

I watered the plants, and moved the sprinklers. I put aside a few more things for Paint Night tonight. I texted the lady I was going to clean for. Chris gave me a massage. Then he took his shower and I took mine. He went to a game at the library.

I mended a sheet. I read messages and ate the last egg. I put 7 eggs in the steamer. I ate fiber gel. I laid out in the sun for 15 minutes. I made and ate breakfast. I read more messages.

I got ready for cleaning. I drove out to Lincoln Hwy. Her gate was open, so I just drove in. She had a whole house vacuum so I didn't need to lift mine up all those steps. I spent 2 hours cleaning rugs with cat litter on them and a few spots in the kitchen. And we chatted some. She wants me to come back again.

She paid me and I drove home. I read e-mail. Later I ate fiber gel, read some more and then heated up a steak in the toaster oven with rice and cauliflower. Finally I went to Paint Night.

Janet had agreed to meet me and help me set up. But when I got there, Jenni and another lady were there too. And a good thing that was. Setting up took more time than I thought. I was still mixing paint when the first people arrived.

We had them sit at the 8 places that canvasses were laid out. I gave my opening speech. Several had not watched the posted how-to video. Then they got started pouring paint into their cups and dripping that on the canvas. It was messy so we had wet paper towels on hand. But lots of people either came early to help or stayed late to help. I was never shorthanded. Parents who brought their kids helped.

We had a second seating at 8 and were not quite ready. I had poured extra paint for the first group, but they used most of it so I had to refill some colors. The original bottles were empty so I had to substitute the closest shade from the paints in the back. I mixed them with glue and water to be the right consistency for pouring.

Then as they finished, I realized we were running of out plastic-covered places to put them to dry. So we had to wipe up some of the paint spilled on the class plastic. They was kind of a shame since the puddles were works of art as well.

There was paint left over and I couldn't bear to through it away, so I let Moira and Isadora do another painting. Still paint left, so I did one as well. Then we threw out the cups. I told the ladies to leave everything else to dry and I would come back to pick up stuff later. We shut the door to the fellowship hall and put a chair in front of it to keep people out during the drying process.

I locked up the chapel and came home. I made tea. We watched one episode of Criminal Minds. I put my laundry away. We made the bed together. Chris went to bed while I stayed up and worked on my blog. Then I went to bed.

Preparing for Paint Night

Friday

I woke up at 8 hearing my alarm go off. I got dressed and turned on the sprinklers. I drank hydrogen water and took supplements. I moved the sprinklers and watered the potted plants.

At 9 I took the last Chinese tea and went to the chapel for Bible Study. The tea came wrapped like chocolates. I unwrapped one and put it in a tea cup and poured hot water on it. It did not steep quickly, and was still in round form at the end. We read through a chapter of Luke. Then Janet had study questions for us.

Afterward, I started setting up for Paint Night in the fellowship hall. Jenni helped me paint the corners of the canvasses. We also set out the paint colors and the scale and the large sheets of plastic to protect the tables.

When I got home it was time to make and eat fiber gel. I read messages, then made and ate breakfast. I added to the grocery list. When Chris was ready, we went to the commissary for groceries. After unpacking them, we went to Tooele for whatever the commissary didn't have. I also shopped at Melanies.

When we got back to base, I read e-mail and had supper, including a salad. I listened to tapping interviews while piecing puzzles. I figured out when each person should arrive at Paint Night, then messaged each of them. I posted to that effect on the Facebook pages and encouraged anyone else to message me to sign up.

I took pics of cheat notes for Indiana Jones, and worked on my blog. I made tea (with the nugget of tea left from my tea cup in Bible Study) and went to game night at Casey's house. I played Indiana Jones until Michelle called. Casey set up his device so she could see the game screen. She talked me through the end of KQ5. Then we talked for the rest of the evening. I went home at 1130. Chris was still up and we went to bed. But for some reason, I did not sleep.

ACS 60th birthday bash

Thursday

I got up at 7:35. I took supplements, drank hydrogen water, and went out to start the sprinklers. I watered all the potted plants. I moved the sprinklers. I checked messages. I moved the sprinklers again.

I went to the ACS birthday celebration. At Summer's suggestion, I took flyers for my events to put on the FRG table. I talked to people here and there. I picked up a few things from the tables of organizations handing out swag and info. I sat with Jenni in the grass outside. I played in the bouncy house when I found out there was no age limit. I went inside to witness the cake-cutting.

On the way home, I stopped at the post office. I picked up a package and took it home. I ate fiber gel, then worked on a new batch of breakfast mix. Then at noon, the doctor called to go over my bloodwork results. I was surprised because the appointment is scheduled for tomorrow. But he insisted that his staff contacted me to change the appointment for today. So I put down what I was doing and we talked about the results. It was nothing important so I didn't understand why his staff insisted that I talk to the doctor.

I made breakfast and ate it while watching The Highwire. I put on the Kaatsu bands and did two sessions with arms and then with legs. I put on my suit and laid out in the sun for 15 minutes. Then I worked on dividing up payments for cleaning. I made up an envelop for John and one for Jamie.

Steve came over with coffee grounds that he picked up in Tooele. I put them by the iris bed. I went to the library to check out videos to watch. I stayed to talk to Melissa. When I got home, I found a dozen eggs on the front porch.

I read messages, and watched videos posted on Telegram. I ate fiber gel then worked on my blog. I re-posted for Paint Night and Project Night. I made and ate a salad. Then I made tea. We watched two episodes of A Fine Romance. We read a chapter from the devotional book and answered the questions at the end as best we could. He went to bed, but I stayed up to order supplements.

Delivering baby clothes

Wednesday

I got up to take supplements and swish. Kenzie came over with her little boy and infant. She looked at my plants (in pots, the ground, the tower garden and window sill). She gave advice on watering and said she would look up on the extension website.

After she left, I started coffee morning. While reading, it occurred to me that I hadn't watered the plants, only the lawn. So I watered and moved the sprinklers. After tapping and meditation, I started cleaning the house. I found a part of breakfast that I forgot to eat yesterday, so I ate it with the chia water that I also forgot to eat. I took a break to lay out in the sun for 15 minutes, then I took a shower and got dressed.

I wrote Jack's name on a piece of paper and took it to inspection. I put it inside a cupboard. Then I wiped at the floor until the inspectors came. Jack was not with them. I signed the papers. Jamie came over, but they did not ask her to do anything with the yard, so she left.

I went home. I finished cleaning the kitchen and washing the dishes and mopping the floor. I read e-mail and messages. Steve called to tell me that he was resigning next month.

Michelle called to ask me to deliver some tubs of baby clothes to a pregnant lady. The hairdresser had brought them and didn't know where the lady lived. I didn't have room in my car so she called Casey. I met him at the swap shop. We walked next door to the beauty shop and Shelly showed us the stack of three. Casey grabbed one, I grabbed one and a young girl grabbed the last one. We put them in Casey's car.

By then, Michelle had called around and found the lady's house. It turned out to be Michele's next door neighbor. I knocked on the door and talked to the lady while Casey brought in the tubs of clothes. She was happy to get them.

Then Casey called Michelle to tell her it was done. While she was on the phone and we were heading back, we passed Michele walking home from work. She asked if we were on a date. Casey said 'no' but Michelle yelled from the phone 'Yes'! Michele promised not to tell the garrison manager.

Casey dropped me off at my car and went to work. I went to the swap shop to see if Anca or Ria wanted to come to Paint Night. They did and Anca was bringing her daughter. Ok.

I went home. I looked up MBTE and styrene to see where they come from. MBTE is a fuel additive so often comes from leaky underground storage tanks. I listened to some tapping audios. Chris came home from work and then went to Mass, and came home an hour later. I worked on getting the payment from 109 and 648 calculated and divvied up. I texted Jamie for her hours at 147. I also caught up on VMIS hours as I nibbled on dried blueberries.

I made tea and we watched two episodes of A Fine Romance – a British comedy. It wasn't all that funny. Then he read me a chapter from the devotional book. We answered the questions. He went to bed. (He and Michele work out at the gym at 5am). I read some more e-mail. Then I got ready for bed and turned in.

New avenue of cleaning

Tuesday

I got up at 7:30 and went out to sprinkle the lawn and water the plants. While the sprinklers were running, I looked at Pinterest for memes, then moved the sprinklers. I parsed supplements for a week. I called the doctor's office looking for blood test results. They texted it to me, but the doctor wanted me to schedule a call. So I let them schedule one on Friday.

I went to the post office to pick up the mail, then to 147 to clean from 11 to 12. Jamie came by, finished the bathroom, then took all her stuff away. At noon I went home for breakfast. After eating, I laid out in the sun.

I went to Saronna's house to play at 2. We played and talked till 3:30. Then I went back to cleaning for 90 minutes. I finished the house and went to Housing to schedule the inspection for tomorrow.

I went home for 30 minutes, then drove to the chapel to wait for John. He took me to meet an older lady off post who was recovering from a dog attack. She has 6 cats. She needs someone to help clean. She showed us around her house, including her sewing room. I agree to come Saturday afternoon. We stayed talking to her till after 8.

John took me back to my car. I went home. I had a bite to eat as I worked on my blog since it was so late. Then I made tea and we watched the very last episode of Longmire. I didn't think the ending fit the way things had been going up till then – a little forced. It was too late to read from the devotional book, so Chris checked e-mail and went to bed. I did some online reading and hit the hay too.

New band director?

Monday

I got up at 7:30 to turn on the sprinklers and water the plants. I also checked messages. Then I went to 147 to clean for 2 hours. While there, Casey stopped by to give me some papers that Michelle wants me to have.

I went home before noon to made breakfast. I laid out in the sun. Later I went back to 147 to clean for 2.5 hours. Isadora came over to help for roughly an hour. Her dog did not want to stay outside so she called Sophia to come and take Electra for a walk.

I went home around 5. I ate fiber gel and read messages while supper heated in the toaster oven. After eating, I went to the chapel for band. I invited Kenzie's husband to come and share his talents. He went to music school but graduated with a degree in chemistry. But he was able to listen to us and make suggestions as if he'd been doing this for years.

After band practice, I stayed to clean the kitchen with Janet till 8:45. I came home and jotted notes for my blog and made tea. We watched one episode of Longmire, and read one chapter of devotional book. Chris went to bed while I worked on my blog.

Tipsy for no reason

Sunday

I got up around 7:30. I went out to start the sprinklers and water the plants. I checked messages online. I asked Chris for a massage. Afterward, I took a shower and then he took one. I made fiber gel and ate half of it. I went out and cut off parts of a tree that is growing in the fenceline and shading out my porch recliner during the time I want to lay out. I made and ate breakfast. I read e-mails.

I got dressed for church. I took the container of cheese squares and headed to the chapel. When I got there, I laid the snack on the back table. I assembled my trombone. The service started with praise songs. Then the visiting chaplain from Carson gave the sermon. The band played two hymns.

After the service, I talked to Saronna, and then John asked me to meet him at 5:30 on Tuesday to go see a lady who needs cleaning and has fabric to give away. Kyle gave me a baked good from his wife.

I took the few remaining cheese squares and went home. I sliced the baked good in half. It was bread wrapped around a savory filling. I ate half and gave half to Chris. I read e-mail. I laid out in the sun for 20 minutes. I read more messages. Then I went to the garden to pour on some fertilizer.

When I got home, family members were signing on for the game. First we chatted, then we got into exploring the giant's cave and defeating the guards. I pieced puzzles as I played.

After the game, we folded laundry and made the bed. I was feeling tipsy, but I hadn't drunk anything except one kombucha. I measured my blood sugar and it was only 131. I worked on my blog. We watched one episode of Longmire. It was late so Chris just went to bed. I took the bedtime supplements and wrote up my blogpost for today and caught up on volunteer hours. That was when I realized that I had skipped posting for last Monday. How did that happen? I tried to recreate it as best I could. Then I went to bed.
