Monday
I got up after 7. Chris was still here. He quickly took a shower and dressed. I asked him to bring the milk and eggs in. Then he went to work. I made fiber gel, practiced, did squats in the sunshine. I sat with the lists of things I wanted to try with the milk. I made a few notes and put stars by the ones that were most important. I made a plan.
I heated half of the milk. I parsed it out into jars and inoculated each one differently. I put 5 of them in the dehydrator to cure. I put one in the yogurt maker because it reportedly needs 36 hours. Yikes.
I ended up heating all the milk and saving some to use with the starters percolating in the dehydrator. During all the heating and cooling of milk, I sliced up a pineapple and used that rind plus some frozen rind I had to start two jars of pineapple vinegar. All I have to do is remember to stir them every day for a month.
Revonna wanted some chairs from the swap shop so I went down there to unlock it and also picked up our mail. I ate half of the fiber gel. I woke up the old computer to scan some hymns leading up to Easter. It was hard to wake up, and THEN the scan feature didn't work half the time. What's up with that?
I made and ate breakfast. I finished off some containers in the fridge to make more room for yogurt. I read e-mail while listening to the Day 7 tapping videos. Then I went back to scanning hymns and cleaning them up. I put them on a thumb drive. I took egg cartons and headed to the library, stopping to lock the swap shop.
Keli printed out the music for me and we talked about which songs were best known by the congregation. Then I headed home.
I finished the tapping videos. I ate fiber gel, then it was time to head to the chapel to set up the bells. Wilhelm got there just after I did and he was thrilled to help set them up. I fixed up the table with padding and fleece and easels. He brought the bells and the gloves.
Then the band members came and we set up for practice. We played through 4 hymns, and a bunch of other songs. No bell players showed up. So when we called it quits, everyone else went home and I stayed to call the bell players and ask them to come tomorrow. Then I cleaned up and shut off all the lights and went home.
I put supper in the toaster oven. I sat down to listen to the first Day 8 tapping video. I ate while watching it. The dehydrator dinged and I checked those ferments. They were all firm!
When the video ended, I worked on my blog. I made tea and we watched an episode of Criminal Minds. I watched more of the tapping videos, then went to bed.

While
I was reading, Michelle called, saying she wanted to get into the
Keetch room to set up her version of a charcuterie board –
individual cups with a small bowl on top of each. It wouldn't be
transportable so she wanted to assemble it on site. I borrowed a key
and let her in. We chatted just a bit in the kitchen and then her
husband shouted boo from the room. I about hit the ceiling. They
laughed so hard. So after that I had to go home and change.
