I'll need more hymns

Sunday

I woke up in the dark thinking I heard Chris walking around. But then I discovered he was still in bed. It was the wind. I guess I went back to sleep. It was after 8 when we got up and found the back door slightly open. The house smelled fresh.

I watered and rinsed and stirred and practiced and mixed. I took pics of notes for the game. I wrote down instructions for colored pickled eggs. I made a batch of 3 red eggs, 2 yellow and 2 orange. Hopefully tomorrow I can work on green and blue.

I read messages and articles. I listened to the praise songs for this afternoon. I collected dead plant material from the sweet potatoes and the tomato plants. I trimmed the tomato plants and put the larger pieces in water to root. I ate fiber gel and laid outside in the sun. I came in and made breakfast. I ate what I could, then got dressed and took cheese squares to church.

At the chapel, I laid the snack in the back and picked up a bulletin. I went up front to assemble my trombone. I lost my glasses so I had to find a book to rest my feet on. When I got back from the library, Rod was sitting next to my seat. I greeted him and put my trombone together. Keli came up to start the praise songs. After singing three songs, the congregation went to greet each other. Summer told me how much her kids liked the yogurt and now she will make a gallon at a time.

Chaplain spoke on the book of Isaiah. He also talked about Holy Week and having services on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday – including hymns. I looked at Rod and he looked at me and said “this is the first you've heard of it?” So when the service was over, I asked the chaplain if he would like the band to learn some hymns for those days. Yes, yes he would. Ok then.

After helping Keli look for angel wings, I called Steve to turn on the sauna at the gym. I also texted John. I went home to finish breakfast and find some of last year's basil for Bryce who was proudly making his Nona's spaghetti sauce. But then John came over and we sat down with my character sheet to up-level it to 13. We ran out of time and I had to quickly change and pack for the sauna. John stayed long enough to update the numbers in the spells. I arrived late to the sauna, but was alone. I laid down and tried to sleep. Then Michelle arrived and we talked and sweated for awhile. It was after 4:40 when we got out and rinsed off.

I was in a hurry to drop off the basil, but Steve asked us to hold up a minute. He explained that the marines needed fans and wanted to make a post to that effect. But Michelle nixed that and said she could make some phone calls.

So I went by the chapel, let Bryce take some basil, and went home to hunt down our fan. Michelle came over to get it, but she said it was too far gone. I lent her the swap shop key so she could pick up that one. Then she left and we signed into the game.

I ate supper that Chris heated while the others signed in and began to talk. Finally we started playing. We went to a village where they were sacrificing someone's brother to a sea creature. We rescued the brother and killed the creature. We argued about what to do with the dead body. We took the brother to his sister in another city and she told us valuable information. Then we talked about what to do next.

After the game, I put on shoes and we went to the school to meet others for walking. But the only people to show up were John and Michele. So we walked the walk with them, then went home.

I worked on my blog and made tea.  We watched an episode of Criminal Minds.  I tried researching probiotics that create butyrate, but kept getting pop-ups telling me my computer was infected and I should click the links to fix it.  I restarted my computer, but that didn't stop them.  So I shut it down and went to bed.
