New batteries were bad

Monday

I got up after 7:30. I took supplements and brushed my teeth. I brought in and filled the water jug. I turned on my laptop and the pop-ups were still there. They reappeared as soon as I x'ed them. There was no milk nor eggs in the cooler I left out, so I messaged the lady that delivers. I looked up pop-ups and was told to cancel permission for notifications. So I did.

I practiced and did squats. I posted for band and bells. I mended a pair of jeans.

I opened both of my watches and tested the batteries. They were dead. I tested the new ones and they were all partly discharged. I went to the WalMart website that I had ordered them from to make a complaint. But it sent me to their AI assistant who wasn't helpful. There was no listed way to contact them, so I had to Google it. I called their 1800 number and got a very nice guy with a name I can't pronounce who helped me submit a message to the seller (apparently not WalMart) to ask for a replacement.

I used blueberry juice in a pickling brine to color some blue eggs. But it turned out to be the same color as the beets. I looked up what else is blue and there is a tea that might work. I tried adding chlorella to some water to make a green egg. The green color goes away if I add vinegar so I didn't, but I don't think its gonna work well.

I ate fiber gel and laid in the sun. The lady delivered the milk and eggs. I came in and made breakfast and ate it while reading e-mail. I brought in the milk and started heating it. I worked in my sewing room and came out when I heard the temp alarm beep. I shut off the stove. I turned the oven to 180 and put washed jars and lids in there. When the milk cooled down, I added some to all the ferments in the fridge. I filled a jar and added some kimchi juice just to see what would happen. Then I heated the other half of the milk.

I made a waistband and encased elastic in it. I poured the milk into a half gallon jar and drank the bit that was left. I put all the ferments into the dehydrator. I ate the rest of the fiber gel, then ate some cold corned beef with cabbage and potatoes. Cold potatoes are a resistant starch. Chris came home from work.

Soon I had to leave for the chapel. Saronna and two of her kids got there at the same time. I got busy setting up the bells and Wilhelm helped me. Then we started playing The Sound of Silence without Keli. But then she arrived with 4 dozen eggs. We played through our hymns and other pieces. The bell players were really late and one didn't show up at all. So I dismissed the band 5 minutes early. Saronna and I went to help the bells. She wanted to play, so I directed. We all worked out the second song, much to my delight and surprise. I still think we'll need an extra practice.

They put their bells away and I cleaned up the music and the table. I took all my stuff and the remaining eggs home. I ate a pickled egg and read e-mail. Then I worked on my blog. I made tea and we watched one episode of Criminal Minds. I put my ferments in the fridge. The eggs had to go in the garage to keep cool.

I read with a frozen pack on my arm. I think its tendonitis. At 11, I shut down the computer and got ready for bed.
