Baptism at the pool

 

Sunday

I got up around 8. I went through my morning list. I didn't practice much because Chris was listening to something. I ate yogurts and added milk to the ferments, then put them in the dehydrator to grow. I checked e-mail.

It was after 10:30 when I went by the kids house to pick up some empty boxes that I'd left. Then I went to the garden to weed. I picked a squash and some cherry tomatoes.

I went home, ate fiber gel, then read outside in the sun. I made and ate breakfast. I got dressed for church and took cheese squares with me.

I was surprised to see Eryne in church. The praise team sang 4 songs at the beginning of the service. Chaplain talked about the revival. He started his sermon at 1:45 and the band played hymns at 2:15. That didn't give us much time to go home and change clothes for the baptism at 2:30.

I had put on my bathing suit and a shirt and shorts. Then I headed to the pool for baptism. But Michelle and Casey had just pulled up to the chapel. They flagged me down to get the key. So I was late to the pool.

Chaplain and two of Janet's kids were already in the pool. Their dad read a scripture, then Chaplain asked them questions and dunked them backward in the water. The parents toweled them off. We all chatted by the pool while Jenni got changed into her suit. We discussed the up and downsides of buying a 5' inflatable hamster wheel. John said he could get one by next weekend – which is the last weekend that the pool is open. Then Jenni, John, and I got in the pool to swim. The water wasn't warm, but tolerable. Mostly we floated and chatted for an hour. When Jenni and I got cold, we climbed out, toweled off, and drove home.

I ate fiber gel and laid out on the front lawn. Then I came in and ate what Chris cooked, which was chicken soup, zucchini fried with onions, and rice. I checked e-mail and composed a message for the docket of HHS. Today is the deadline. I fielded texts from Michelle and John M. I worked on my blog.

I made tea and we watched the season ender of Criminal Minds. Then we both went to bed. I woke up in the night to shut down the router and put my phone to sleep and brush my teeth. I went back to bed, used the RLS treatments, and slept on and off till morning.

Saturday

It was a bad night. Some random pain sprung up and my mind wouldn't stop cogitating. I got up at 7:30 and went through the morning list. I rinsed the sprouts in a big bowl to separate the sprouted seeds from the ones that were not going to sprout – which was a lot! I also washed the carrot greens and stuck them in the dehydrator. I practiced and ate yogurt.

I looked up the next steps in the game and made notes. I went out to water plants and annoy gophers and eliminate the mounds. When I came in, I washed off, then Chris gave me a massage. Afterward, he took his shower and I took mine.

I ate fiber gel. I looked up the sewing project for today and made a template. I made and ate breakfast. I checked e-mail. I picked fabrics and sandwiched them. I came back to find out how far apart the stitching lines should be. Half an inch. I went back and did the stitching. I started cutting the rows apart and decided not to finish it so that the kids could see how it was done.

I took all my project stuff to the chapel. I set up a machine and got supplies out. Wendy arrived to help the kids, but the kids did not come. Michelle said they just wanted to watch TV. So Wendy and I talked for over an hour. Then we locked the chapel and left. I went to the Clark's house. I cleaned the fans, then the door of the stove. I swept and mopped my way from the library to the living room. I put the runners back down and vacuumed them. I tied up a few loose ends and moved my cleaning supplies out to the car.

I went home for supper and e-mail. Then I went back to the church for Project Night. But no one came. After half an hour, I went over to Michelle's house. She was putting highlights in the girls hair. I was exhausted and I think she was too, but she was taking caffeine pills. Isadora showed me her artwork.

Eventually I went home. Blogger sent me a message saying 6 of my videos would be deleted unless I went to some Google Takeout site and downloaded them, or something like that. Chris told me to find them myself and download them. Most were date-coded so finding them was easy, but one was not. I spent a lot of time looking for it.

Then I made tea and we watched TV. I went back to looking and then we dressed the bed with clean sheets. I finally found it and it was just a pic. No motion involved. I worked on my blog and got ready for bed.

Friday

I woke up early and waited for the 7:30 alarm. When I remembered that it doesn't ring on Fridays, I got up to find it was 7:50. I got ready for the day. I made egg salad from all the eggs I peeled last night. Chris sliced the bread for me. I packed egg salad, bread, 4 small bananas, and a bottle of water.

I went to Michelle's to put lunch in their fridge. Then the girls walked to their house while I drove there. I let us in. We worked on their room. Erin came over with the boys. A lady sent me pics of two dressers that she dropped off. The girls liked one of them. So I called Chris to come over and use Randy's truck to pick it up from the swap shop. Sophia pulled out of the truck the most enormous stuff bear I have ever seen. My heart dropped. Chris and Moira went to pick up the dresser. Erin helped Sophia and me prepare a space for the dresser. Erin unscrewed some hook racks. Chris and Moira carried the dresser in and set it down. Chris left.

Erin had the boys come in and go through all their stuff to weed out and organize. We also swept behind the beds and put sheets on. They did the closets while I swept the library. Finally I pooped out and just sat till she was finished with their room. A hail storm spun up quickly, spitting large balls of hail the size of blueberries into my car and everywhere. Erin called her husband and he drove us back to Michelle's house. They left, but the kids and I ate egg salad sandwiches and bananas. Michelle did not come home by 2, so we all walked back to the house. She arrived just as we did. I let us in. She was dismayed by the enormous bear as well. It took up the whole livingroom. Michelle told me to go home, so I did. I ate some nuts while checking e-mail. I looked up a sewing project for tomorrow. I got started, then decided to go to the garden while it was daylight. I checked my tomato plant and found a bird inside the netting. Somehow it got out while I pulled off red cherry tomatoes and ate them. I did some weeding. Jack showed up and gave me a hug. We looked at his garden and he picked some zucchini, carrots and a squash for me. I gave him an onion and some hot peppers.

When I got home, I made up supplements for the week. Then I made the breakfast I would have had, had I been home at noon. I worked on my blog. I prepared for game night. I wrote up today's notes. I put some greens in a bag for Casey and made myself a bottle of tea. I drove over to their house. Of course Michelle was not there, since she was with the kids at the rented house. Casey called up the game and I played it using the notes I took. Jumping was still the hardest thing.

I ran out of notes at 11, then thanked Casey and went home. Chris was in bed. I got ready for bed and joined him.

Thursday

I got up at 7:30. I went through the morning list quickly. I started a loaf of bread, then put the dough into the fridge before I went to Bible study. I think I hardboiled some eggs as well.

I opened the chapel at 9, letting Diane and Karen inside. We talked about Saronna's situation until Eryne arrived. Then she led the study of Genesis 42. We discussed it and Karen had to leave. We also discussed cleaning Saronna's house.

So after we prayed, two of them followed me to her house and we cleaned the couch and behind the couch and other furniture on the same wall. Then we broke for lunch.

I went home and made breakfast. I put the dough in the oven even though it was still in the bread pan. I watched The Highwire. Michelle called and we talked for awhile, then I went to her house with two dozen eggs that Diane gave me.

Then she walked and I drove to Saronna's house. We talked and Karen came over with Moira. Moira helped me clean the ferret cage and shred paper for it. Then Aubrey came over. Michelle and Aubrey cleaned the remaining bathroom while I cleaned behind the stove and ran the dishwasher.

Michelle left to get ready for staying overnight with Saronna's kids. Another lady came to clean. So we discussed what needed to be done and I left her and Aubrey to it. I went to Michelle's house to pick up the Korean meal she had bought me earlier in town. I stayed to talk a bit, then I went home. I ate the Korean meal cold and tried to catch up on e-mail.

Eventually Chris came home from AutumnFest. I worked on my blog, then made tea and we watched TV. I read online. Chris went to bed. I peeled all the hardboiled eggs and cracked some that weren't hardboiled but were in the box labeled hardboiled. Then I went to bed.

Meditating and cleaning

 

Wednesday

I got up at 7:35, not having slept well. I did a few morning chores, then prepared for coffee morning. After four rounds of meditation, I started cleaning the bathrooms. Michelle contacted me about cleaning. In fact while we were still talking, she walked into my house. So I quickly threw on regular clothing and she took me to Saronna's house. We stripped the beds and started a load of wash. We discussed. Then she took me home and went to sub at the school. I finished my bathrooms and washed dishes. I took a steam session and a shower. I ate some yogurt with pumpkin seeds. I also made a bit of egg salad.

I went over to Saronna's house and started cleaning. But Michelle never came. She couldn't leave the dog alone. So I worked mainly in the kitchen. Also I swept and mopped floors and washed more bedding and tossed stuffed animals in the dryer. I emptied the dishwasher and restacked it, but there were things that could not go in. Michelle told me that the kids were talking badly about her at school and she considered that maybe she shouldn't be alone with them.

Around 6, I went home. I heated leftovers and ate supper while catching up on e-mail. I posted to my blog. I thought we would watch TV, but Chris was gaming online till 10:30, so then we went to bed.

Tuesday

I got up at 8, having slept through the night. I went through the morning list. I practiced the hymns plus Sleigh Ride. I texted Michelle and she was napping after not having slept well with Saronna's kids. So I checked e-mail, then dealt with the gopher mounds and set traps. Then she called just as I was heading to the garden. She was going to the school to check on the kids, then heading to the house. So I went to the garden and then came home and started breakfast.

When she called to say she was at the house, I headed over there. She exclaimed over everything dirty. Then we started on a bathroom. The bathrooms are small so after awhile, we were running into each other. I wanted to move to the other bathroom but she didn't want to be left alone. Really, it wasn't THAT bad. So I did the door and jams and stuff. Then we moved to the other bathroom. It was more crowded with personal care products. We didn't get that far before 3.

Then she went to the school to pick up the kids and run them somewhere for a bit. So I swept the floor and went home to finish breakfast. Then I met her back at the house. She got a neighbor to watch the boys while she and the girls cleaned the clutter in their room. I worked in the livingroom and then the kitchen, washing dishes.

I got a call from the lady I was supposed to quote at 5:30. So I dropped everything and drove over to her house. She showed me around her house and everything she had done. We agreed to meet again when she had everything moved out.

I called Michelle and she said they had eaten and were getting ready to head to the rented house. I drove over there and she was getting them packed with pajamas and clothing. I stayed after they left to wash dishes, but was hungry and tired so I went home.

I put supper in the toaster oven. I talked to Chris. I ate supper and had some sugar snap peas. Then Michelle called saying one of the girls was missing and could I check the house? So I drove over there and no one was home. So I went to the ACS building. All the lights in the Keetch room were on, and quickly got switched off. I called Michelle and we suspected that the girl might have gone there before the building closed and hid, then turned the lights on and read a book or used the wi-fi. So I called Chris to open the building and waited. But then Michelle called back to say the girl had been spotted walking to Michelle's house. So I called Chris and told him not to come after all.

I went home and worked on my blog. I made tea and we watched TV. He went to bed, but I stayed up to catch up on e-mail and piece puzzles.

Monday

I got up at 7:30, having kept awakening and reawakening during the night. I went through the morning list. I started cleaning my slide. Then Housing asked me when I was going to submit 403 for inspection. I thought it would take till Thursday to get the yardwork done, but when I met Bobbie over there, it was already done. So I scheduled inspection for this afternoon. She said Randy signed for the house next to Rod, and made arrangements to move the assignment over to Rod's house since that is where the bedding is and it hasn't just been freshly painted.

I went to the post office to mail the package from 403. But they did not have the forwarding address so I had to go home and get it. Amazingly it was $75 to mail. Yikes! I went home. I looked up previous band posts to identify the next meme in line. I posted to all three Facebook pages for band practice. I looked up hymns about prayer. I picked two, and one was not in my large print folder. So I went to the library to get a large print copy made. I stayed to chat, then left. I chatted with Tara on the way out, then went home.

I made and ate breakfast. I finished hemming a cleaning cloth for the slide. I went to 644b for inspection. They decided to do it after the kids had their 5 days there. Randy came over to inspect and then sign a paper saying there was no damage that he would be responsible for. I went to 403 to get the rest of my stuff out, plus all the cleaners they left behind. I did a last vacuuming and mopping of high traffic areas. Then I sat in my car waiting for the inspectors to come in.

When Bobbie and Sarah came, we went inside. Sarah took the pics. Bobbie and I talked, waiting for Collie, but he didn't come over. So then I went to the swap shop to drop off some stuff, including a toilet brush for the little bathroom. I went home and jotted notes for my blog.

I re-hemmed my cleaning cloth to be narrower. I finished cleaning the slides. I used a magic eraser and then 0000 steel wool to get the rust off. I re-oiled the inner slides and it worked much better.

I put supper in the toaster oven. I checked e-mail. Chris came home from work. I ate supper, then went to band practice. I emptied the trash cans until Jenni arrived. Then we played through the hymns and some Christmas songs. Michelle and Randy and Casey came to get folding chairs. Jenni and I talked for some time.

Then Michelle called to say she needed toilet paper and shower hooks. So I went to the swap shop to pick up the TV table that we forgot yesterday. I went home to get toilet paper and a shower curtain. I drove to 644B, arriving right after Michelle. So we went in together. I brought in the stuff I collected and some of the swiffer cleaning kit.

The kids arrived with Randy. Michelle quickly got them organized as to which beds were theirs and laid out their sleeping bags on the piles of blankets and sheets and comforters. Then she got them one at a time to take a quick shower while she instructed them on how to wash. This was followed by teeth brushing and music. Randy left, so I asked to be dismissed from Camp Michelle as well. I was tempted to stay, but I had no preparations. I closed the garage door and headed home.

I worked on my blog. I made tea and we watched TV. Chris went to bed, while I stayed up looking for a page on parasite cleanses and caught up on e-mail.

Sunday

I started my day at 8:30. I went through the morning list. I practiced, then made a copy of the music. It wasn't quick. Chris gave me a massage. Then I took a shower, and made cheese squares. The first eggs I cracked didnt hold their shape so I cooked them in the microwave with a paper towel over. There was popping. When the one minute was over, I put it in for another minute. There was no more popping, so I opened the microwave. While I looked for a potholder, there was a very loud pop and suddently the dish was empty. There was egg all over the inside. I thought it was the funniest thing.

I made another copy. I pieced the copies together to make a one page hymn.  I ate yogurt, then watered outside. I set the trap. I prepared for breakfast, then made and ate breakfast.

I looked at a random verse generator, then got dressed for chapel. I packed up cheese squares and my trombone. Chris drove us to the chapel.

We had the normal progression for the service, although it went longer. Keli was ill, so Chaplain and Jenni did the praise songs at the beginning. Neil gave the sermon. Then Jenni and I played two hymns at the end. Then we chatted in shifting groups. I asked Bryce about noise-canceling headphones for Saronna to go from her house to the hospital in Salt Lake. He said he had some but they needed glue. We all said goodbye to the Praise team and the chaplain took them back to the hotel.

Chris and I went home. I changed clothes and ate the parts of breakfast that I missed. I sent out a bunch of texts. Randy said they tried such headphones and they only made it worse. I went to the garden to check the trap and water the tomato. I went to 644b to get the rest of my stuff out. There was a gray car with no license plate in the driveway, but the house was empty. I grabbed my stuff and went home. I listened to one last tapping meditation. I signed into Discord for the game. We played for 3 hours. Afterward, I took Chris to 403 to pick up the package to mail tomorrow. We also dropped off a package at Wendy's house.

When we got home, Michelle was waiting for me. I got in her car and we went to the swap shop to get lots of bulky bedding. We took it to Rod's former house. We made up 'nests' for each of the kids to sleep on. We also made a list of other things like shower curtains and toilet paper.

She dropped me off at home. It was too late to watch TV. We made the bed with clean sheets. I made tea and listened to a Highwire Plus episode on parasites. Yikes! Then I went to bed.

Day 4: barbecue

 

Saturday

I got up at 8, and went through my morning list. I leveled 4 gopher mounds, and watered the plants. I looked up bean salad recipes for the potluck later today. I went to the garden – more gopher mounds. I went to 403, passing Isadora. We chatted, then she cleaned bathrooms while I pulled weeds and raked gopher mounds in the lawn. The trash can smells like a dead gopher, so I left the lid up.

I took her home, then went to the commissary for cans of beans and a lemon. I made bean salad in a large covered bowl. I took it to the fridge in the chapel. I grabbed my stick vac and brought it home.

I made and ate lunch, then checked e-mail. I took the stick vac and microfiber cloths and went to Tina's house. We talked, then I vacuumed all the floors and carpets that I could. We talked some more, then came home and took a shower.

We went to the barbecue that had started at 5. But for whatever reason, we didnt start eating until 6.

After eating, Chris took me home. I took the forgotten yogurt and delivered it to Tina. We chatted a bit, then I drove back to base, the setting sun making it really hard to see. The guard at the front gate talked to me for awhile, then I went to chapel.

I had just missed the music portion. I sat with Chris and listened to the teaching. Later there was an altar call. Some people went there. Later the service ended with prayer. I talked to the other women.

We came home and I worked on my blog. I changed into a nightgown, made tea and read e-mail. Then I joined Chris already asleep.

Day 3, the chofar

 

Friday

We got up at 7:30. I went through most of my morning routine, then washed up and got nicely dressed. We went to the hotel to meet the praise team for a continental breakfast. Lisi and I did not eat. We all chatted and then went outside where Neil spoke a blessing and blew the chofar. Then we went inside for a Q and A. But it ended up being more of a prayer request thing. At 10 it broke up. Neil gave me the chofar to practice on for tonight.

Chris and I went home. He went to the office. I ate yogurt, then went to 403 to mop and to clip trees growing in the fence. When I got back, I ate fiber gel and practiced trombone. Then I made and ate breakfast. I had to reboot my computer to get rid of the green outlines. I watched two videos on how to blow the chofar. It seemed to go well.

Chris came home and made his lunch. Then we went to the commissary for groceries. When we got back, the mower was back in the driveway with a new part.

Chris didn't want to go to Tooele. I nearly fell asleep while we planned our anniversary trip. I laid down, but then jumped up to make yogurt for tomorrow and jot notes for my blog, and work on yesterday's post. Now I was able to add pictures to previous posts. I went to the garden to weed and check the gopher trap. On the way home, I thanked Richard for fixing the mower. He mentioned how much we needed rain. Later he said I was a saint and not to let anyone tell me different. I think I will remember that for the rest of my life.

When I got home, I mowed the back lawn, then put the mower away. I got dressed up and we went to the chapel by 6:30. The service opened with praise music and a few hymns. The words projected on the screen were not always what the players were singing.

Then we stood in a circle up front. Neil asked me to play the chofar. The first notes went well. He asked to put a talith on me, but I wasnt comfortable with that. Then he tried the chofar, not so good. I tried again. Not so good this time. Stefani tried. There must be a trick to it.

Then we prayed for the world, mentioning as many countries as he could. We prayed up and down, right and left. Most of the other ladies sat down. I was in the center aisle, so I knelt down, but then my feet went to sleep. So when the prayer finished, Chris had to help me up. Chaplain wanted to pray for me and I said we should pray for rain. Then Neil had quite a story about praying for rain in Africa and it rained so much that they had to pray for it to stop so they could hold elections.

After the service ended, Chaplain brought out a lasagna that was left over from dinner. Chris and I delivered the lasagne to the Clarks. He quietly invited us in and we spoke in whispers. He told us about the house he is being given to house the children while his wife is in the hospital. Its the same house I just cleaned and will have inspected Monday afternoon. It was sad to see the young boys having to be so quiet (because any sound causes their mother a lot of pain).

We went home. I got ready for Game night. I drove over and gave cheese squares to Michelle. I played the game using all the notes I had, then explored where to go next. I exited the game at 11, but we talked till 12 about their Disney trip. Then I went home.

Day 2 of Revival

 

Thursday

I got up on time. I followed my usual morning list. I made up supplements for the week. I went cleaning, then stopped to open the swap shop by request. I went back for 2 hours. When I came home, I ate fiber gel, watered the plants, etc. I ate breakfast and watched The Highwire. I paused it to go clean again.

I went to the garden to pick onion stems and check the gopher traps. Nope. I stopped by Self-Help to tell Richard about the mower. He said he'd pick it up after work. I went home to wash and chop the onion greens. I put them in a container. I put shredded cheese in a container, and took both to the chapel. I put them in the fellowship hall with other toppings. Presently we gathered to say a blessing and line up to get tacos. I just made a salad with the meat and toppings. We – the praise team and ladies of the church – chatted together as we ate.

Then the chaplain called the praise team into the sanctuary for prayer. I went home to change into better clothes. Then Chris took me back. We sat for the Day 2 service. It was much better than Day 1. We sang praise songs and hymns. Most of the time the right words were on the overhead. Then the praise team pastor spoke at length. Finally, people were invited to come up to the altar to pray and be prayed for (or with). Then the chaplain ended the service with a prayer.

We chatted with each other and I spoke at length with Lisi who is from Brazil. We have a lot in common. When the chaplain started turning off the lights, conversations broke up and we headed to the doors. We agreed we would see them tomorrow for breakfast. Then we went home. I changed clothes and finished The Highwire. Then I worked on my blog. Suddenly I realized that I forgot to lock the swap shop. But I was already in my nightgown and figured the police had locked it anyway. Sigh.

Revival not off to a great start

 

Wednesday

I got up on time. It was cool out, so I delayed watering. I prepared for coffee morning. I meditated and tapped. I watered the plants and raked gopher mounds. I cleaned the kitchen and bathrooms. I laid out in the sun. I used my steam sauna, then took a shower.

After getting dressed, I went to the post office for mail. Then I proceeded to Rod's house to check the yard work. I spent 30 minutes picking up dog droppings and shreds of a cup that got mowed over.

I went home and ate yogurt. I signed up at Housing for inspection on Monday. I checked with Self-help, but Richard wasn't there. I went to the garden. I set both traps, then came home. I messaged John about cleaning. I made and ate egg salad, then went to 403 to clean. I worked on windows and blinds. John came later. He did all the fans and high stuff in an hour. It would have taken me longer.

I went home, jotted notes for my blog and recorded cleaning times. I ate some kimchi fried rice.

I changed into better clothes. We drove to the chapel for Revival. Chaplain introduced us to the praise team, who were not all from the same place. I guess he pieced it together. Then we sat for the service. I'm not sure what I expected, maybe Billy Graham and some hymns? The first hour was praise music, but the words on the screen rarely agreed with what he was singing. And there was no beginning or end to each song. I could not tell how many songs. Some singing here and there, random playing while he sang to himself or God.

But then a man played the piano and kind of made up the words. And another man preached. That I understood. Then we had time for people to come forward and be prayed for. There was a prayer list on the whiteboard.

Afterward, we chatted with the people behind us. Chris talked shop with some of the guys. And we went home. It was too late for TV. I went through the last tapping presentations. Chris cleared e-mail and went to bed. I stayed up to work on my blog.

Setting traps in the garden

 

Tuesday

I got up early, hearing Chris get ready for work. After he left, I got up and finished a Sudoku puzzle. I went through my morning list. I made sure both gopher traps were set. I didn't have a trap for the one in the backyard so I buried some out of date tuna in one of the tunnels. It was awfully cool outside.

I ate yogurt, then went cleaning at Rod's house. I finished up the inside and picked up some dog poop outside. I stopped at the garden to water. I saw gopher mounds! I went home to eat fiber gel and to read in the sun. Then I went to the post office for mail and to open the swap shop. I proceeded to 403 to start cleaning there. I did the kitchen except for the fridge and started on windows and blinds.

I went home at 5. I ate fiber gel and read online for awhile. Chris came home and we both ate leftovers. We talked about the situation with Michelle taking Saronna's kids for 5 days during her brain surgery.

I went to Casey's house to get my slide, but he was asleep (I later found out). I went to the chapel to wipe the vinyl couches and it was obvious that someone had just done it by the smell. But there was detritus on the floor, so I handled that. Then I went home to get gopher traps and money. Because our sprinklers were on, I was only able to grab one trap. I called Casey and he said he was at the club. So I grabbed some cash and went to the garden. I dealt with the gopher mounds and watched my sprinkler come on. But it didn't oscillate for some reason. So I pushed it a notch every few minutes. One of my squash plants had all its leaves eaten off. Again. I set up the trap. Casey came over with my slide. I gave him the money. We chatted till it got dark. Then we both went home.

I rolled up the windows in my car and set up the ozone machine inside. I rolled the mower out to the driveway. I ate blueberries with chia seed. I watched one tapping presentation, then worked on my blog. I made tea and we watched TV. Chris went to bed. I stayed up to listen to stuff.

I woke up at 5 to use the bathroom. I think I woke Chris up and he went as well. But I went back to bed, while he went to prepare chicken – but it wasn't thawed enough. I got up before 8. I went through my morning list. I set the gopher traps.

Just before 10, I went to Rod's house. I cleaned baseboards and ozoned one of the bedrooms. Then I went to the garden and then home. Michelle called to say they had dropped my slide off at a music store. The store needed an hour to unclog the slide and was going to charge $60. Sigh. Ok.

Chris had cooked all the chicken. I put on my suit under my clothes. We went to the pavilion by the pool. We waited for other people to show up. A few did. Some even brought food. Chris had to go to the commissary for forks. I talked with Janet and Karen. I rocked Janet's baby. So cute!

It was after 2 when Chris took me home. I ate a grapefruit, then went back to Rod's house to clean more baseboards and to mop. I also worked in the bathroom that Isadora supposedly cleaned.

I got home a little before 5. I stairstepped through the last tapping presentation from yesterday. Everyone signed into the game. Chris kept them occupied until I finished. Then I made breakfast for supper and we played the game. We were attacked by bad guys and we fought them off. End of story.

Afterward, Chris and I went for a walk in our neighborhood. I went through the two latest tapping presentations, only stopping for the tapping parts. I looked at my Facebook messages, then worked on my blog. We watched TV, then retired to our computers. I went through the tapping meditations and went to bed.

Second game night - better than the first

 

Sunday

I got up before 8. I went through the morning list except for practicing. I watered the yard in addition to the plants. I made more spice mix and more breakfast mix. I ate fiber gel, then read outside. I came in to make and eat breakfast.

Saronna texted me that the rugs were working and she could use a third one. So I picked one out and had Chris drop it off at their house. Just as he left, Michelle came in. She had a sign up sheet for people to say what day they could bring a meal to the Clark kids. She wanted me to take it to the chapel.

We chatted and then she left. Soon Chris was back. I finished breakfast and got ready for church. I took the sign-up sheets and the cheese squares.

I drove to the chapel. I left the cheese snack and the sign up sheets on the back table. I told several ladies about them. I assembled my trombone and put the hymns on my music stand. The service began with the chaplain playing three songs on his guitar. I did not know any of them. They were not hymns.

I chatted with the chaplain after church. I went home and tried to catch up on e-mail. Chris made mashed potatoes. Michele and John came over. Rod called and we set a date for an escape night. Then the four of us walked to Gary's house with the mashed potatoes.

I wasn't expecting so many people. Gary put the food out in the kitchen. People walked around the countertops with plates and got food. I ate at a table in the diningroom with Michele and John and Mindy and her husband. Gary had a smoothie machine and what was in it was really good.

Later the four of us walked back to our house. John helped me level up my character for the game tomorrow. Then they left. I went to the garden to water, then to Rod's house to move the ozone machine and put the little stuff I found in a bag for someone to pick up and deliver to him.

Then I went to Michelle's house with my outer slide and some brisket that I got from Gary. Casey fashioned some piano wire into a hook and got some of the paper towel out, but the rest was stuck. Michelle and I sat on the back patio and watched Casey start the grill and cook chicken and hotdogs. They offered me some, but I was too full.

Then Casey put up the Indiana Jones game. Indy was still stuck in the large room with the moving platform. He died over and over again as I tried to make the jump. But eventually I made it. But the next jumps were just as bad. Casey was able to help and finally Indy got back up to where he started. Then I took over and made a great deal of progress.

But it got late, so I exited the game. Michelle made a strong drink of garlic cloves, ginger root and cayenne. She shared a bit with me and chugged the rest. Her face was priceless! Then she went to bed. Casey stayed up to talk. Then I went home, worked on my blog, and went to bed.

Saturday

I got up on time, went through the morning list. I tried to clean my trombone slide, and the paper towel got stuck in the tube. I checked e-mail. Chris gave me a coconut oil massage. Later I took a shower and used the new hair oil that Shelley sold me. I went to Rod's house to try some new cleaning products on tough spots. Then I turned on the ozone machine and went to the garden. I picked some peppers, and watered the far tomato plant.

I went home to make breakfast. Chris steamed a beet I picked last week. I ate while reading online messages. I tried to search ways to get a paper towel out of a trombone slide. Not many results.

I went to the chapel for Sewing Class. No one showed up except Wendy who came to help. We chatted for a long time. Then she went home and I went to Rod's house to reset the ozone machine.

I stopped by Self-Help. Butch was talking to Richard. He had extra fruit from the farmers market. He gave me plums and a cantaloupe. When I got home, I ate the cantaloupe. Chris made Cornish hen for supper and I ate that, too. I continued my search. I talked to Michelle. I texted Saronna that I could drop off some runners to help with noise in the house.

I went to the chapel and set up for Project Night. I vacuumed in the sanctuary and under the cushions on the couches in back. I put the vacuum away and went to the fellowship hall to find Casey playing a video game and Cedric on a computer. Casey pulled up Tetris and I played. But Michelle called and wanted him to come home. So they packed up and went home. I packed up from sewing class. As I was leaving the building, the chaplain was coming in to get flyers for Revival. We chatting for quite some time. Then we both left.

I went home. Chris was folding laundry. I saw a Facebook message from Saronna accepting my offer of runners. So I drove over there and left them on the porch. When I got home, I folded the rest of the laundry. We put it away and dressed the bed with clean sheets. Then we sat in the livingroom to watch the movie “Clue”. It was entertaining. I worked on my blog and listened to a tapping presentation on sleep. But my stomach was still working on the cantaloupe and I had a hard time getting to sleep.

Friday

I got up on time, feeling like I could use more sleep. But no RLS. I went through the morning list. I watered the plants and set the traps. I went to Rod's house to clean at 10. John joined me at 10:30. He did a lot in an hour, a lot of things that I can't reach without a stepladder.

I was home by noon. I prepared and ate breakfast. I made a shopping list. We went to the post office. Chris sat in the car while I went to pay Shelly. Lara was just leaving and the three of us talked. Chris and I went to the commissary and brought groceries home. I wanted to go to Melanie's for their Labor Day sale, but there was nothing I needed and I had other things to do.

I went to my garden and found that birds have been eating my cherry tomatoes again. I pulled off the black netting and re-did the configuration to make it harder for them to get into. Then I went to Rod's house to meet Isadora.

She cleaned bathrooms while I did windows and baseboards. Then I took her home and was home myself by 5:30. Chris got ready for gaming and left for ACS. I ate supper and checked e-mail.

I sewed a fabric cube and took a pic. I went through two tapping presentations, skipping the talking part and concentrating on the tapping part. THEN, I remembered to post the cube to Facebook for Sewing Class and to work on my blog.

I got ready for Game Night. I went by the chapel to put the cushions on the couches and made it nice for the Catholic service tomorrow. Then I proceeded to Michelle's house. I gave her some garlic and cayenne capsules. Casey had the game up. It was easy to pick the ammo and medicines I need to buy with the treasure found. Then I played the game till I got to a point where I could not make the required jump. Casey tried as well. I resolved to look it up.

Before I left, she gave me a container of kimchi fried rice. I took it home and put it in the fridge. I looked up the impossible jump and it certainly seems like the walkthrough has better jumping capability than my game. I went to bed.

Looking for a house

 

Thursday

I got up on time, having slept hard through the night. I went through the morning list and read the Chapter for today. At , I opened the chapel for Bible Study. It ran long. We talked about needed a place for Saronna's kids to go during her surgery.

I got a call from Michelle and went outside to take it. When I got back, they had disbanded, but a few were left. I set up the ozone machine and turned it on when they exited. I went home. I called Jack to see if we could rent a house for a week for Saronna's family while she gets brain surgery. He said no, then told me he would talk to Chris and get back to me.

I went home for breakfast. I started watching The Highwire. Jamie called me from Germany. We talked until I had to leave for a sign-over at 1. I went to 403, signed papers and chatted with the resident and Bobbie. When I got home, I called Jamie back and we talked till just after 2. Then she hung up and I went to 644 to clean for 4 hours.

I went home. Chris took a brisket to Gary. I filed and ironed a gopher ball. When he got back, he put meatloaf in the toaster oven, I watered, then came in and ate supper.

I picked up the ozone machine from the chapel. I went walking with Michelle. We talked about our frustrations. When I got home, I started another Sudoku puzzle. I made tea and we watched TV. I asked Chris how we get to 'yes' and he told me. Then I worked on my blog and finished another tapping presentation.

Mower needs repair

 

Wednesday

I got up before 7:30, feeling like I hadn't slept at all. I did a few morning things, then prepared for coffee morning. After 4 rounds of meditation, I cleaned the bathrooms and kitchen. I mopped and vacuumed. I laid out in the sun. I used the steam sauna, then took a shower.

I ate yogurt, then checked e-mail. I ate egg salad. I went to the post office to check mail, then proceeded to the chapel to move the ozone machine. Finally, I went to Self-Help to discuss the mower. He said he would stop by after work.

I went to the garden, then Rod's house to get things soaking and set out the router. I went home, chatted with to Chris. I listened to a podcast.

The Self-Help guy came by to look at the mower. He replaced the filter which had fallen off. When he started the mower, it made quite a racket. He said he'd have to order a new chute. We chatted. I noted that the sprinklers never came on. I put the mower away.

I went back inside, and jotted notes to my blog. I went outside to water the bare spots. I posted to my blog and made tea. We watched TV. As I left the livingroom, I felt like I had stepped on a piece of glass. Chris couldn't see anything in my foot. Later I pulled a splinter out of my foot, but in a different spot. Hm. I cleared two tapping presentations, and one meditation, then went to bed.

Tuesday

I got up before 8 when nature called. I worked on the morning list. I went out to water plants and deal with gopher mounds. I also cleaned up the sticks and dirt on the sidewalks. Ok, not all the way to the border of our property, but I have to save some energy for later.

I spent an hour entering volunteer hours into VMIS for August. I went to the chapel to move the ozone machine to a new spot. I went to the library for books and a movie.

When I got home, I made and ate breakfast. I walked to post office for the mail. I laid out in the sun and read. Later I went to a sign-over on Pinyon.

On the way back, I stopped at Michelle's house for a chat and for the art that Isadora made for me. It was after 5 when I went to the garden to fertilize and water.

I went home. I ate fiber gel and made up supplements for the week. I ate soup for supper with hardboiled eggs in it 'cause there wasn't much meat.

I mowed the side yard and part of the back. I stopped when the mower made a terrible noise that I didn't understand. I put it back in the shed.

I listened to presentations from the Tapping World Summit. I worked on my blog, then made tea. We watched an episode of Criminal Minds. I looked up some of the actors. I finished the presentations, then went to bed.

Monday

I got up after the 7:35 alarm. I finished a puzzle, then started the morning list. I reset the gopher traps. I chose hymns for next Sunday, then posted for band and revival.

I went to the garden to water, to weed, and to pick any ripe cherry tomatoes. I went to the chapel to reset the ozone machine. Then I went to the library for copies.

When I got home, I ate yogurt and read. I made and ate breakfast. I read messages. I mowed till my hands hurt. So I put the mower away and came in.

Later I went to post office for mail and back to the chapel to reset the machine. I watched a video on humming. It made me sleepy so I laid on the floor.

Then the phone rang. Rod wanted a re-quote. So I drove over to his empty house and let myself in with the garage code. I walked around and examined the house. She did a lot of cleaning but not as thorough as will be required for inspection. When I got home, I called them to quote a lower price and ask them to weedwhack the back yard before they return the trimmer.

When I got home, Chris had supper on the stove. I ate a bowl of it and a hard-boiled egg. I went to the chapel for band. Keli arrived at the same time as a new family. The dad brought a guitar but we didn't have guitar music. The little boy wanted to play drums. His mother helped him find the beat. She also sang one of the songs.

When practice was over, we talked. The dad helped me set up the ozone machine in the computer area. We talked some more and he told me all about his flying lessons. Then we each headed home.

When I got home, I took supplements and ate chia seed with blueberries. I finished a podcast and worked on my blog. I made tea and we watched TV. I looked up some of the actors that seemed familiar. I spent the rest of the evening going through Day 1 presentations of the 18^th Annual Tapping World Summit. And finally – bed.
