Tetris

Saturday

I got up hearing my alarm at 8. I got dressed, drank the usual and went outside to water the plants and scatter gopher mounds. When I came in, Chris was still asleep. I reset the clock on the stove and checked messages. I checked the Indiana Jones walkthrough video to see how they handled the dirigible. But this one took the biplane instead. It used arrow keys to control the plane. I had to hunt for one going through the zeppelin and when I found it, it was complicated. And it ended in him taking a biplane anyway.

I made and ate fiber gel. I made half a gallon of Pu-er tea. I posted to Facebook for Project Night. I made and ate breakfast. I put on my suit and laid out in the sun. Then I took a shower.

We went to the water machine at the post office to fill up two 5-gallon jugs. When we got back, I grabbed my purse and went to clean for the lady who got attacked by dogs. She and I talked, then I cleaned the doors and walls in the two bathrooms, then cleaned the wall oven, sink, and microwave. We shared some Ouzo and a Greek brandy. Oh so strong!

It was after 5 when I got home. Chris had supper in the toaster oven for me. I ate the rest of the fiber gel. I put the remaining tea into two bottles. I ate supper while listening to an interview, then put the linen yardage in a bag with a dress to copy.

I went to the chapel. Janet was there, scrubbing spots on the carpet. We talked about how the key to unlock the doors from the inside was gone. Michele arrived with her project and got started. Then I got out my linen, ironed it, and laid the dress on top. I traced it then cut it out. Janet worked on her bathing suit. Casey and the kids were there with a laptop. When I finished cutting out my dress and facings, he set up Tetris and I played it. Janet watched but did not want to play. After she left, Isadora sat by me. I topped out at level 8. Then she played, but didn't do as well. It was 9 by then, so we packed up and went home.

Chris was on the computer. I started folding laundry and he joined me. Then we watched one episode of Criminal Minds. We dressed the bed. He turned in and I worked on my blog.

Cleaning with Isadora

Friday

I got up at 8. I got ready for the day. I watered a few plants. I saw gopher mounds but didn't have the time for them. I ate some egg salad and put together some cleaning supplies.

I went to the house on 1st street at 9. I shooed the cat into the office. I texted Isadora because she wasn't there yet. I started cleaning in the kitchen. There wasn't much to do because she didn't want me to clean the stove, the microwave or the fridge. I headed home to get a mop. That's when I saw Isadora walking up. I told her where I was going and that she could get started in the bathroom. I went home and came back with a wet mop and a dustmop. I did the kitchen floor. I vacuumed around the living room and mopped that floor. I vacuumed the rug but not too close to the puzzle because pieces had fallen. The vacuum motor quit, but the light was still on. I had to go home and get another vacuum to finish. Isadora finished the bathroom. I pointed out the mirror and she washed it.

I went home and texted the lady. She asked how much and I figured it to be $95. I laid out, but the sun wasn't very hot. I made and ate a quick breakfast. I picked up Michele at her house. She drove us to Tooele to the dentist. After dropping me off, she went to Luckey's. I was asked to fill out the same paperwork I always fill out. Not just name, address and phone number, but also what diagnoses I have ever had. Plus forms to sign agreeing with their policies. Then I was taken back and put in a chair and laid back. The new dentist checked my teeth. After he left, the hygienist disappeared. I waited, then I went looking. She was cleaning someone else's teeth. So I waited some more. Finally she cleaned mine. I went to the desk to pay and saw Michele waiting for me.

We went shopping at Luckys. She'd already been, but since I was picking out aged cheese, she got some too. Which I ended paying for. Then we shopped at Melanie's. Again, she picked out something and I ended up paying for it along with my stuff.

There was a farm stand in the parking lot. I picked out some tomatoes and two peaches. Since peaches were $1, she asked if I had a dollar so she could buy one. Of course. Then I shopped at Macey's while she went to GNC. She met me in Macey's and we went back to the base. When we got to her house, I helped her carry stuff in and then I went home.

I put supper in the oven and read e-mail. I ate supper while watching a tapping presentation. I walked to the post office for mail. I watched another tapping presentation – or at least the tapping parts. I took supplements and cut up grapefruit rind. I called Tina to set up cleaning for tomorrow. I worked on my blog only to discover that I forgot the one for yesterday. So I did 2 blog posts.

I put tea in a bottle. I picked some cabbage leaves and put them in a container with some cheese squares. I realized the time was an hour later than I thought, due to the power outage that happened while we were in town.

So I hurried over to Michelle's house for Game Night. She wasn't there yet, but Casey had the game up. I played, using hints from my phone. I had to re-do some parts, but I made progress. I made it to the Zeppelin, but could not find my way through the upper passages without getting killed by Nazi's. I tried the bi-plane. It took several tries, then I made it into the air but did not know how to control the plane (arrow keys) so got shot down.

At 11, I saved the game and shut it down. I tried to say good night, but Michele was there and feeling talkative. So I didn't leave until 11:30. When I got home, Chris had just pulled in. There was an accident on the way back from the airport. We were both tired so we got ready for bed.

Finished the shampooing of the carpets

Thursday

I got up at 8. I went out to water and to level gopher mounds. There was no gopher in the trap I set yesterday. I dug it out and washed it off. I finished a tapping presentation from last night. I finished taking off the old waistband, and I put the new one on. I changed the serger thread to black and serged the bottom edge. I put it in a bag with the original dress. After more than 6 months, I was able to delete it from my to-do list.

I drank fiber water. I made more breakfast mix. I listened to the meditation that goes with the presentation. Then I made and ate breakfast. I watched The Highwire till the internet went down. I jotted notes for my blog.

I went to the signover next to Jenni. We all looked around. We signed the papers and they paid Jamie by Venmo. I gave Jamie her skirts, then came home for the lockbox. I read some e-mail, then drove over and put the lockbox on the house.

I went to the library to return a book. I looked at books in the back. I started reading one, but decided against it. I pulled out a second one and started reading. Myra called. I talked to her till after 6. I checked out the book and went home. I sent Myra a link I promised her.

I put supper in the oven, then vacuumed and shampooed some carpet in the hall. I ate supper, and walked to the post office for mail. I vacuumed and shampooed some more. I listened to the next day's tapping presentation. I messaged with Michelle a bit. I vacuumed and shampooed some more. I listened to the second presentation, then finished shampooing carpet. I listened to the accompanying meditation, then watched an episode of Call the Midwife. Without meaning to, I went to bed before realizing I hadn't done my blog.

Michelle returns!

Wednesday

I got up at 8. It looked like it had rained overnight. I watered the plants covered by the porch. I dealt with a large gopher mound and set a trap and bait inside. Then I prepared for coffee morning: supplements, dry-brushing, exercises, coffee. After meditating and tapping, I put the dishes in the sink and started cleaning the kitchen. Then I vacuumed and shampooed the carpet in the livingroom. I cleaned the bathroom and shampooed the den. I worked more in the kitchen and shampooed the bedroom.

I tried to lay out in the sun, but clouds kept going in front of it. Then it got too late and the sun was over the other side of the house. I deleted a bunch of e-mail. Then the internet went down. I took a shower and walked to the post office. Only junk mail. By the time I got home, the bucket truck had finished and the internet was back up.

I read e-mail. I started a tapping presentation - skipping through the talking parts and focusing on the tapping parts. I paused the presentation. I called Michele to see if she wanted a squash and a zucchini. Yes. I grabbed the squash and ran to the garden to pick the zucchini. I parked near her house. I dropped off the veggies and had a short chat. I asked her next door neighbor if they needed a rocking chair. No.

When I got home, I finished sewing on the waistband only to find that it didn't stretch in the lengthwise direction. I cut a new one on the stretch, and picked off most of the old band. (hard to see black thread on black fabric). I won't use the lightning stitch again.

I finished the presentation and worked on my blog. Michelle texted me from her home. I was surprised and happy to hear that. Then she came over. I was so excited to hear all about how the ban had been lifted and I wanted all the details. They said she would be on probation for 6 months. We talked for two hours and she went home about 11. I got ready for bed. I missed her so much.

Tapping World Summit

Tuesday

I got up before 8:30. I got ready for the day. I drank hydrogen water and mushroom electrolytes and lemon water. It looked pretty moist outside. I watered the plants on the porch. I dealt with a few gopher mounds. I was going to walk to the post office, but raindrops were appearing on the pavement so I drove. I mailed a check and checked for mail. When I got home, it still hadn't rained exactly.

I read e-mail. I ate some hardboiled eggs and avocado dip. I listened for the text sound but none came in. I tried sewing on a leftover piece of Jamie's fabric. Straight stitch was ok, but the zigzag stitch didn't stretch much. I looked up tension adjustments and didn't find what I was looking for.

I drank non-fiber water (no psyllium= no gel). Later I made and ate breakfast. I quartered the waistband and pinned it to the skirt. Then I went to Saronna's house with my trombone and music. We talked for some time, then played through the hymns and talent show entry.

I went home. I read e-mail. I watched a video on exercising for aging. I heated a rib for supper. I ate it at the computer. I walked to the post office, noting ant mounds along the way. I took the dead gopher to the garden. I found an ant mound in a secluded spot and laid the gopher down, hoping they will clean off the skeleton. I stayed to cut weeds in Jenni's garden.

When I got home, it started to rain again. I listened to Donna Eden's presentation. I went outside to read a book of short stories. They were not very uplifting. The light faded and I went inside to listen to another tapping presentation.

Jenni texted that she wanted to trade ones for 20's. I paused the presentation when she arrived. After she left, I made tea and worked on my blog. I finished that presentation and another one. Then I watched an episode of Call the Midwife and went to bed.

Delivering the knife

Monday

I got up before 7:30 having slept pretty well. I cleaned up in the kitchen and washed some dishes. It rained pretty hard last night so I put off watering for awhile, then did those that the rain wouldn't have touched. I took apart the pill organizer and washed it. Then I had trouble putting it back together. I laid it outside to dry. Then I realized what the problem was and the caps went back on with no problem. I parsed out supplements for the following week.

I ate fiber gel and put on my bathing suit to lay out in the sun. However the sun wasn't very hot today. According to the weather report that Chris sent, it won't be hot anytime this week.

I came in and made breakfast. I ate it while watching videos that I had started days ago and never finished. Suddenly I realized it was after 1:30. I got dressed and put on shoes. I walked to the post office for mail. There wasn't much and it wasn't important.

I drove over to Mary's house for a quote. Jamie came over to examine the yard. Mary wasn't ready for the signover because the moving company had not finished their job. We quoted $700: $500 for the house and $200 for the yard which was really bad. She asked what she could do to lower the cost and we told her windows and baseboards. We both felt sorry for her and will probably charge less no matter what.

I went to the library to return a book. I checked out some DVD's and another book. Keli also gave me a carton of eggs. I went by Emily's office to see if there was a place for the band at Autumn Fest, but she wasn't in. So when I got home, I sent her an e-mail.

I picked hymns for Sunday. I finalized an order for more supplements. I wrote a check to help fund the moving of the Reber gate. I ate the last of the fiber gel. I heated a rib for supper in the toaster oven.

After I ate it, I headed to my car. But Jamie's husband was sitting in his truck blocking the driveway. I tapped on his window and he moved. Jamie came over to say hi. I went inside to get her 2nd skirt. Then I got in my car and headed to band.

Keli had opened the chapel so everyone was inside. We played through hymns and Cabaret and a few other tunes. We talked about future playing opportunities. Then we packed up and left.

When I got home, I showed Jamie my mower that has a weed-whacker attachment. She was delighted and wanted to play with it. While she was finishing up with the yard, I delivered Chris' knife to Casey who was going to take it to the knifemaster for refinement or something. He dug up a gopher. I took it home in a bag. I worked on my blog. I watched two episodes of Call the Midwife, then went to bed.

Lots of kids in church

Sunday

I got up at 8:30, surprised to see how dark it was. The sky was overcast and the temp was cool. I puttered in the kitchen and drank hydrogen water. I also drank a glass of mushroom electrolytes and checked messages. I played a song on my trombone. I whipped up a batch of seed crackers and put them in the oven. I went out to water the plants. When the seed crackers were done, I left them in the oven to crisp up. I made and ate fiber gel. I picked two hymns and sent the numbers to Saronna for her review. I listened to an interview. I made and ate breakfast, or at least the first part.

I got dressed for church. I put seed crackers in a tub. I listened to two of the three songs Keli had chosen for today. I drove to the chapel. I put the seed crackers in the back, noticing a large number of small children in church today. When I spoke to our fill-in chaplain, he said they were his grandchildren. The littlest one really wanted to examine the band stuff. But he was able to catch her each time.

We started the service with the three praise songs. Keli wasn't there so she must have been feeling poorly again. Then Bryce talked about giving and put up the QR code. Afterward, the chaplain took his place. He talked about the kids. He said he would be with us for the next year. Then he gave his sermon – our singular plural God. Then he invited us up to play. So all of us (except Keli) came up and we played two hymns. I ended the service with 'Go in peace. Serve the Lord. (Thanks be to God)'. Then Caleb announced Bible study at his house at 5:30.

We chatted after church. I packed up my trombone, but left it there. I took the seed crackers and went home. I read articles and listened to Mike Adams. I laid on the lawn and read a book. Jamie came and mowed my lawn.

Jenni texted about going to the pool at 4. I didn't feel like it, but I went anyway. We swam and talked until 5, then got out and went home. I guess she went to the Bible Study.

I took a shower and got dressed. I ate fiber gel. I read articles online. I put the contents of the plate from last night in the toaster oven. After supper, I watered the indoor plants. I watched part of the Indiana Jones walkthrough. I read outside again till the light faded. Then I came in and watched the walkthrough until it reached the part I was at Friday night. I paused it, and read other messages. I worked on my blog. I watched two episodes of Call the Midwife.
