Delivering the knife

Monday

I got up before 7:30 having slept pretty well. I cleaned up in the kitchen and washed some dishes. It rained pretty hard last night so I put off watering for awhile, then did those that the rain wouldn't have touched. I took apart the pill organizer and washed it. Then I had trouble putting it back together. I laid it outside to dry. Then I realized what the problem was and the caps went back on with no problem. I parsed out supplements for the following week.

I ate fiber gel and put on my bathing suit to lay out in the sun. However the sun wasn't very hot today. According to the weather report that Chris sent, it won't be hot anytime this week.

I came in and made breakfast. I ate it while watching videos that I had started days ago and never finished. Suddenly I realized it was after 1:30. I got dressed and put on shoes. I walked to the post office for mail. There wasn't much and it wasn't important.

I drove over to Mary's house for a quote. Jamie came over to examine the yard. Mary wasn't ready for the signover because the moving company had not finished their job. We quoted $700: $500 for the house and $200 for the yard which was really bad. She asked what she could do to lower the cost and we told her windows and baseboards. We both felt sorry for her and will probably charge less no matter what.

I went to the library to return a book. I checked out some DVD's and another book. Keli also gave me a carton of eggs. I went by Emily's office to see if there was a place for the band at Autumn Fest, but she wasn't in. So when I got home, I sent her an e-mail.

I picked hymns for Sunday. I finalized an order for more supplements. I wrote a check to help fund the moving of the Reber gate. I ate the last of the fiber gel. I heated a rib for supper in the toaster oven.

After I ate it, I headed to my car. But Jamie's husband was sitting in his truck blocking the driveway. I tapped on his window and he moved. Jamie came over to say hi. I went inside to get her 2nd skirt. Then I got in my car and headed to band.

Keli had opened the chapel so everyone was inside. We played through hymns and Cabaret and a few other tunes. We talked about future playing opportunities. Then we packed up and left.

When I got home, I showed Jamie my mower that has a weed-whacker attachment. She was delighted and wanted to play with it. While she was finishing up with the yard, I delivered Chris' knife to Casey who was going to take it to the knifemaster for refinement or something. He dug up a gopher. I took it home in a bag. I worked on my blog. I watched two episodes of Call the Midwife, then went to bed.
