The search for organic cotton thread

Sunday

I got up around 8. I drank hydrogen water, electrolyte water and took supplements. I sat at my laptop to read for awhile. I went outside to water and take down some gopher mounds. I whipped up a batch of cheese squares and put them in the oven. I drank lemon water and made half a gallon of pu-er tea. I cut up some lemon rinds and threw them in the compost.

I entered all my August volunteer hours in the VMIS system. I made and ate breakfast, then got dressed for church. I listened to the beginnings of the songs Keli sent. I took the cheese squares and hymn music to the chapel.

I got my trombone assembled up front. I talked to a few people. Then we sang praise songs (though not the ones that Keli sent me). Popken said a few words about donations. The chaplain said a few words about communion and we used the little packets for that. Then he gave a short sermon. So short, that the band went up to play and Saronna wasn't here yet. But I saw her walking up the sidewalk so we waited. Then we played our two hymns. I said 'Go in peace, serve the Lord'. The response is 'thanks be to God' but hardly anyone said it. Then we chatted and ate cheese squares and went hom.

When I got home, Chris said there was no game today because James couldn't make it. I changed my clothes, and laid outside and finished reading my book.

At 4 I went to the pool to meet Jenni and Joan. We swam for an hour and I got out to leave. Then Jenni wanted to do water aerobics. But I went home at 5. I ate fiber gel, and worked on tapping presentations that ended at 6.

I ate the supper that Chris cooked, and then did one of the new tapping presentations that started at 6. Afterwards, I went to my room to sew, but could not find my large cone of 100% cotton thread. Even the hand quilting thread had polyester in it. I found some old wooden spools in the garage. I looked them up to see if they were 100% cotton. Yes, but not necessarily organic. I looked for organic cotton thread online. I ordered one spool.

Then I worked on blog and heated tea. We watched one episode of Criminal Minds. I looked up one of the actresses. I looked up the linen that I bought from Joanns to see if it was organic. But the Joanns site would not let me look at the description. I think I finished a tapping presentation, then got ready for bed.
