Trying liquid rennet

Monday

I got up at 8. I got ready for the day. I practiced and exercised. I brought in the latest delivery of milk and eggs. I steamed a batch of eggs. I made egg salad. I heated half of the milk to 100 and put it in the dehydrator with probiotics. I texted Michelle that her half gallon was ready.

I went to 627 to clean whatever spots might be left. Some guys came over to fix the screen door in back and to replace a fan in a bathroom. I went up to vacuum after them and to make sure the bathrooms were as spotless as possible. I moved some cleaning supplies to the garage and put some in my car.

I went home for fiber gel, then took the cleaning supplies to 650, stopping at the post office for mail (which included a bottle of liquid rennet).  I left some cleaning supplies in a group for Davis. I also vacuumed the fans.

I went home again for lunch. I texted Davis. I made breakfast and ate it while reading e-mail and listening to a podcast on sleep.

I went back to 627 to vacuum and mop the floors again. Dirt and dog hair keep reappearing.  I moved everything outside and mopped myself out of the house. Some things went in my car and others got thrown away. I went to 650 to clean in the kitchen for 45 minutes, then went home.

I heated supper and played hymns so I could choose two for next Sunday. I did not have large copies of any of the Holy Spirit hymns. I ate supper, then took my trombone and music to the chapel for band. Keli didn't come, so the rest of us played the hymns for Sunday and a few others. The Broadway tunes weren't as bad as I thought they'd be without the piano part.

We packed up and went home. I put rennet in the milk, then went through Telegram messages and e-mail. I worked on my blog. I made tea and we watched an episode of Criminal Minds. I read cheese recipes in the Granddaughter's Inglenook cookbook. No mention of adding rennet, just scalding clabbered milk. Chris went to bed. I used the steam sauna, then dried it out and went to bed myself.
