I woke early Monday morning. I found laundry in the dryer and folded it. I rewrote my Viome list with the updated results. A lot of the foods in the 'Minimize' list had moved to the 'Enjoy' list. But the 'Avoid' list still held almonds. cucumbers, chickpeas, bell peppers and garlic. Sigh. I did another clearing for almonds while listening to the depression summit. I printed out another copy of my supplement schedule. I lasered points on my cyst, which is either really small or gone. Then I made and ate breakfast and put a bin of fabric in the car,
I went to quilting. It was Birthday Monday, but not many ladies were there. I set the bin where others could look through it, but they didn't take much. I put borders on two quilts. I talked to the other ladies in the room. Our biggest conversationalists were not there. Afterward, I took the bin of fabric back to my car and went to the post office. There was junk mail only.
I went home. I ate a banana and some chocolate, then a dented can of soup I mowed most of the lawn, but the battery ran down so I plugged it in to recharge. I did not feel so good, so I took some charcoal. Later I tried to throw up, unsuccessfully. I sorted through a bag of batting and scraps, pulling out a few and saving the others for dog beds.
I listened to a Dr. John Gray interview. I paused it when Chris called. After his call, I watched one episode each of Royal Pains and Frasier. Then I started reading a book and couldn't put it down. Finally I went to bed without posting to my blog, thinking I would go directly to sleep. Ha.

Unloading fabric
I slept well, for awhile, but woke in the middle of the night. After that, I only dozed off and on. I don't think the bites were bothering me. When the alarm went off, I stayed in bed for another half hour before calling it quits and getting up.
I turned on the router. I took a shower and wrapped my hair up to dry while I checked messages. I took some supplements. Then I got dressed for church. I took the shopping list from the fridge and put excess grocery bags in the car. Then I drove to church.
I parked in the back this time so I could pass the bathroom before seeing anyone who might want to converse. The plan worked. I talked to Ron for awhile, then sat between Don and Cecelia. I don't know why she sat with me. She said she prefers to be one of the first to go to communion because some people get their fingers in the wine when they intinct.
The service was short, because the interim pastor has cut out some of the liturgy. Also, instead of a sermon, two people from Still Serving Vets came to speak to our congregation about what they do. They are our third quarter giving focus. After the service, I escorted Don towards the fellowship hall but he insisted he didn't need me. (This after I escorted him to the communion rail and back). So I let him go and spoke to Jeanne. Then I saw Cathy escorting him to the coat closet to get his rollator. I think he likes being escorted by younger women.
I got in my car and saw that it was only 10:50. Wow! I went to Publix for groceries. I was looking for split mung dahl for making kitchari, but did not find any. I bought the usual things and went home. I put the food away, changed my clothes and made breakfast. After eating, I carried one tub of fabric to the car. The next one was too heavy so I split it into two loads. Then I put my machine in the trunk and went to quilting.
I parked right in front of the door. I took my machine inside and asked if anyone could help bring in fabric. Two ladies jumped up: Tina and Laura. They each carried a pile of fabric and I took the last tub. Laura took it from me after she laid down her load. The ladies making quilts for vets were happy to get it. I set up my machine by Laura. Someone mentioned that a pile of quilts needed trimming and binding. Laura knew someone who wanted to do hand binding. So I trimmed a quilt, made binding and sewed it onto the top, leaving the other side for the 80+ year old lady who binds. Lynette came back from the ER with the lady who cut her ring finger with a rotary blade. She had three stitches. It must have happened before lunch because food was brought out and they each filled a plate.
I chose another quilt and trimmed it. I didn't get much farther than that, talking and such. Then it seemed everyone was packing up, so I did, too. Tina did some vacuuming and I did the rest. She had brought eggs from her hens and I bought two dozen, using up all my cash. I moved my car so Lynette could pull hers up, but then she didn't.
When I got home, I had a salad for lunch. I put on the next episode of some health documentary. I wanted to go for a walk, but it started raining. So I did some sewing, making another 16-patch block to finish a quilt top from yesterday. Apparently I can't count and only made 11 last week. Several times I thought it had stopped raining and went out, but it hadn't. I wrote a check and put it in the mail carrying an umberella. But finally it stopped long enough for me to walk around the circle. I was glad because my back was hurting a little from carrying heavy stuff, and it felt a little better.
I had some fruit for supper. Then I cued up Netflix. Chris called at that exact moment. We talked for awhile. He had gone out with Herberth this morning, then had to work in the afternoon. Then he had called his family who had arrived at the beach house. After the call, I watched two episodes of Royal Pains. One lady held a party for her dog and called it a Bark Mizvah. Ha, ha, ha.
Then it was time for bed. I put on my new orange night gown. I started writing my blog post. Beverly sent me pics of a sewing machine that needed a cord and I went to look at my cords to see if I had a suitable one. I put my phone in airplane mode, and shut down the computer for the night. My legs were not itching so I looked forward to a restful night.

Quiet in the library
Last night was better, in that I got more sleep. Still itchy though. When I got up, I started reading e-mail, then remembered I had to do laundry. So I gathered up towels and clothes and pillowcases and sheets. They were washing while I read e-mail and listened to something. I made up 7 days of supplements from Dr. Jarvis. At 11 I made breakfast. I took the laundry from the dryer and folded some, put others on the bed.
All of a sudden it was after 12. I gathered up some projects and put my sewing machine in the car. There wasn't time to stop for gas like I had planned. I drove to the library where the modern quilt guild was having a sew day. First there was a meeting of a small group to discuss our QuiltCon submission. Then I set up my machine and dug in. I finished the quilt top in the picture. Then I worked on another patch quilt, but somehow part of it was missing. I cut borders to go on it, but they had to wait to be sewn. I made a backing for another quilt top. Then everyone was packing up. So I did, too. We put up the tables and chairs and took our stuff to our cars. They left. I wanted to experience the quiet of the library. So I went in the front door. I selected a book from a shelf and found a seat. I read for awhile. It was different than reading at home, but not as quiet as I had at first supposed. I put the book back and left the building.
I drove to the nearby dollar store. I found some paints and canvasses. Then I drove back to base. I stopped at the gas station and filled the tank. I pulled around to the curb where an elderberry plant is growing. I picked two stems of ripe berries. Then I went home.
I made and ate a salad for supper, sort of listening to a podcast. I paused it to take the weekend walk. I put on pants because the bugs seem to like me a lot. I guess they are looking for an organic meal, too.
I ripped some fabric off of a flat fold to make a new ironing board cover. I took another yard of something else and put the rest in a tub to donate.
I rubbed my bug bites with zinc oxide, in the form of the sunscreen I made last summer. It seemed to help, but it was very greasy. I watched two episodes of Frasier. Chris called on Skyped just as Frasier ended. We talked for an hour. Then I sat down to write my blog post, wishing it weren't so late.

The Lion King
I had a bad night. Getting to sleep wasn't so hard, but I kept waking up. It might have been the itching, but I think there was more to it. I put arnica cream on the bites and it must have helped.
I got up with the alarm. I brushed and swished. I meditated with Oprah and Deepak. I played the next episode of the Depression and Anxiety summit, but didn't learn much. Then I played the next episode of Betrayal. I remember him saying that glyphosate wasn't the only active ingredient in Roundup, even though it is labeled that way. I washed some fabric and two t-shirts. I opened the box that came a few days ago. It was a reclining lawn chair. It had no instructions for adjusting the back. It collapsed under me while I tried to move it to the right position.
Then I compared my latest Viome results with the previous ones. A lot of foods from the Minimize list got moved to the Enjoy list. I guess that's progress. I didn't have time to print out a new list. I got dressed and made breakfast. I ate it while reading e-mail. Then I wrote my last check to Housing and headed out.
At Housing, I dropped the check off with Patrick who was on the phone. Then I drove to the movie theater to meet Leanne. She got there just before I did and said Miry was coming. We went inside and bought tickets, then waited for Miry. When she arrived, we went to theater 9 and found our seats in the dark. The ads had already started, but we didn't care.
We watched the new Lion King. The plot was the same as the first, but the movie was less tame. It seemed a little less like a kid's movie. After the movie, the three of us stood in the hallway and talked. Then we all headed out.
I went to the post office. There was a yellow slip in my box. I stood in line to exchange it for a package. While the man in front of me taped a big box, the clerk went in the back and got my package. He must have remembered me and my box number because I hadn't given him the slip yet. Then I went to the library to return the previous book on paper and book on CD, and to check out replacements for both.
When I got home, I scrounged for lunch, remembering to take my lunch supplements. Although it had been a sunny day, all of a sudden it was raining hard. I looked for a new checkbook so I could write more checks. But the one I found started 5 numbers BEFORE the last one ended. The routing and account numbers were the same. Try as I might, I could not figure how that happened.
I ironed the fabric I had washed and some others that were wrinkled. I removed some things from my ironing board to make more room. I selected fabrics for a backing and cut pieces to fit, but did not sew them together.
The rain had quit so I checked the house mail. There was none. I took a walk around the circle and marveled at the cloud formations in the sky. When I got back, I fixed a salad for supper and added the last of the liver. I read e-mail. Dad called to thank me for the birthday card. He talked about other things, too. Then he thanked me for calling.
A few days ago I got a movie in the mail from Netflix. It was called The Adventurer. I watched it on the TV while sitting on the couch, surrounded by tubs of fabric. While I watched, I lasered a bunch of points. After the movie, I took my evening supplements. I called Chris but he did not answer. I put arnica cream on the bites and behind my ear. I laid down on the reclining lawn chair. My mind drifted until it came up with an equation and I had to find pencil and paper to solve it. Sadly the solution was not a practical one.
I queued up some waterfall sounds and got ready for bed.

Arnica cream helps
Last night I put on a Youtube audio of sleep music, again. I left the router on so it would play all night. I could just barely hear the music in my bedroom. It may have reduced the time it took to fall asleep. I woke up at 6, itching. I tried to go back to sleep, but when that didn't work, I got dressed and went for a walk. My alarm went off just as I walked back into the house.
I read e-mail and played the next episode of Pain Revealed. While listening, I used the cold laser stylus on one bug bite and the tick bite and a mole. I lasered multiple points around my right ear and thumb. I sat in the lounger with a heating pad between my legs to heat the bug bites. The voices droned on and I found myself falling asleep. So I laid down in bed, and the sleepiness went away. Sigh.
I examined the last of the fabric. I found several nylon Christmas door flags in the bottom of the tub. I put yardage aside for Renegades and the smaller pieces for the Monday group.
I got dressed. I made breakfast and ate it while reading e-mail. I tried to come up with a plan to use up a package of squares to make a quilt top. But somehow the numbers did not work out. I gave up and went to quilting. Leanne was there and I talked to her the whole time. We made a plan to see Lion King tomorrow. I did not get any sewing done.
When I got home, I ate some chocolate and nuts. I also opened a coconut, drank the water and scraped out the meat. Then I took another whack at making the different piles of fabric squares add up to a bargello top. Again, the numbers were off. So I just started sewing using the blocks that I was sure about. I made a number of strips. I laid them out on the bed to see what holes needed filling in. I had to cut another 4 squares, but then it all worked out.
I heated a pouch of coconut curry and put in chopped liver, then ate that. I was going to make a salad, but it was tapping time. So I texted my tapping buddy and she called me on skype. We talked first. I told her I was taking cat's claw for the tick bite and she said she was taking Repargen, which has cat's claw and maca in it. She says it eliminates the pain in her knees and grows a thin layer of cartilage. Interesting. I also take maca. Anyway, we tapped for having trouble falling asleep.
I wrote my blog post for later and scratched vigorously. I heated some water and dipped a spoon in it, repeatedly, tapping each bite until it stopped itching. Then I put lavender oil on each one. I watched an episode of Royal Pains and one of Frasier, thinking Chris would call at any minute. But he didn't. So I went through my evening routines. As I was cuing up an audio of babbling brook sounds, I heard skype. I answered the call on the desktop but it did not have a mic or camera so Chris could not hear me. I had to call him back on my laptop. We chatted for a little bit, then hung up. I went to bed with the brook sounds playing, but it was not so restful. So I got up and changed it to waves at the beach. Back in bed, I realized I had forgotten to post my day, even though I had written it already. I left it for morning.

Itching for relief
Last night I put on a Youtube audio of sleep music. I left the router on because the desktop is hardwired for ethernet. I could just barely hear the music in my bedroom. I don't know if it helps with sleep since the bites on my legs were so itchy that I had trouble sleeping. When I did sleep, I woke up scratching. I tried several things but nothing did much.
I woke up before my alarm went off. I tried to go back to sleep but that didn't work so I arose and soon heard my phone alarm in the next room. I used a hot spoon to stop the itching. I wish I had thought of it last night. I listened to the next episode of Pain Revealed. They mentioned stem cells again today, but also hyperbaric oxygen.
I took mimosa pudica every half hour during coffee morning, meditation and tapping. I washed dishes. I was going to mop the floor with a cheap sponge mop from a yard sale. But the mop head was too wide for the bucket. So I used the new string one from Publix. It cleaned really well and was easier to wring out that I supposed. I took a shower and read e-mail until my hair dried. Then I got dressed and went to see the Korean doctors.
It was raining when I left, but not so much when I arrived at the clinic. They were happy to see me. I showed her the tick bite. She wanted me to check on her student loan. As usual I had trouble logging into her account. Nothing had been done. I made a call and the rep assured me everything would be fine.
Then Dr. Lee offered me a foot bath. Dr Grace gave me the box of coconut curry packets that they bought but thought were too spicy. I put it in my car, then sat down for the foot bath. A lot of black stuff came out. Heavy metal, he said. Before I left, he gave me two of their special onions to treat the bites with.
I went to the post office on the way home. Something for Chris and something for recycling. When I got home, I found a package on the front porch from Amazon. For some reason I never got around to opening it. I checked the house mail and there was the coldlaser that I had ordered. I used it on one of the bites and a mole. I boiled one of the coconut curry packets for 5 minutes and left it to sit while I dealt with other stuff that needed putting away. Then I poured the contents into a dish and added chopped liver. It was not bad at all. It did not seem spicy to me, which is why the doctors didn't want it. Then I made a salad and ate it while listening to something.
I sewed some squares together into 16-patches. I sorted through several of the fabric tubs in the garage. I separated out the yardage from the leftovers. There were lots of calicos and ginghams, and such. Not really my taste. One tub was full of patriotic fabrics. I figured I could pass that on to a QOV group.
At 8, I was still sorting fabrics. When I stopped, I put on Royal Pains. It was good, so I watched another episode. Just as I was about to queue up Frasier, Chris called on skype. We talked a bit while I rubbed my bug bites with a piece of onion. That did not seem to take the itch away. I used the laser pen again, on some bites and some acupressure points. Then it was time for bed.
* More heavy metals this week than last week. *

Three hearts and a tongue
Last night, I chewed up a plaintain leaf and put in on the tick bite with a bandaid over it. I meditated before I went to bed but I don't think it helped me fall asleep.
I woke up hearing the alarm and staying in bed until the sleep cycle was ended. I started the morning routine. Cathy texted me if she could come at 10:30 instead of 11:15. I considered how to rearrange my schedule, then texted ok. I washed up and got dressed. I had been putting stuff in my large mondo bag for Tuesday and now it was time to take it.
I went to quilting. The ladies were signing a card for Jane. I wrote something in it. Beverly arrived. I had a few things in my bag for her. Gwen showed me her stack-n-whack blocks. Anita got up to make some announcements and I got a text. Cathy said she was on her way to my house!
I left quickly and went home. But she was parked in my driveway and opening her trunk. I walked up to greet her, then went inside to open the garage door. She pulled 5 tubs of various sizes out of her car an d put them in the garage. Then she had to go back to work. I thanked her and she left. I grabbed one tub which was large but not too heavy and put it in my trunk. And I went back to quilting.
The bin held lengths of wool. Beverly helped me spread it on the table and invited the ladies to take what they wanted. One of the ladies suggested that we could use it to make scarves for the homeless, and the idea caught on. Most of them left after that. Several of us stayed to stuff dog beds. My job was to cut up t-shirts that were leftover from another group that cut strips from them to make jump ropes. We worked until after 12:30, but then I had to go.
It was 1 till I got home. I put out the recycling and made breakfast. I ate it while listening to Pain Revealed. I paused it at 2 to go to the church and record the offering on the computer. I was finished by 3. Elaine came over and she muscle-tested me for all the supplements I brought. There were some surprising results. Then she left and I went to the bank to make the deposit.
I still had energy left so I went to the farmer's market. I stopped at the meat place first. She came out with a bag of organ meats. I bought three hearts and a tongue. I gave her some glass jars to collect buttermilk for next time. Then I went to the goat farm stand to get pecan cheese. It is so good! I also got lettuce and peaches in other places.
Elaine had recommended Cats Claw as an anti-spirochete. So I stopped at Ruth's Nutrition to pick up a bottle. The lady there recommended treating the tick bite with colloidal silver. My next stop was the tiny Asian market that sells fresh young coconuts, and I got two. Then I went home.
I checked the house mail and found ads. I put colloidal silver on the tick bite and all other bites. I finished watching Pain Revealed. It ended with a doctor shoving a balloon up the patient's nose to re-align the bones of the skull. Then I started playing an anti-aging interview. It was complex and I needed a break, so I put on pants and mowed the lawn. Then I trimmed part of the yard by the fence. After that, I made a big salad for lunch/supper and had some pecan cheese. I went for a short walk around the circle to interrupt the cycle of eating.
I began to wonder why I wasn't opening all the tubs to examine the contents. I brought in one tub and looked through it while the interview played. I paused it when William called. Oddly, moments after he hung up, Chris called on skype. He was trying to apply for a job in Guam but the system was down. We talked about other things as well. After his call, I went back to listening to the interview and taking notes. But it was long and I needed another break. I watched an episode of Frasier. Then it was time for my blog but, because someone in the Monday group had suggested it, I watched the first episode of Royal Pains. It was actually pretty good and I think I have a new show to look forward to each night.
It was after 11 when I started writing my blog. I didn't mean to get to bed so late, but maybe now I can fall asleep faster.
