Wednesday
I woke up after 7:30. I got ready for coffee morning with exercises and music and supplements. I uncovered the outdoor plants. After meditating and tapping, I cleaned the kitchen and bathrooms. I washed dishes. I mopped the floor and vacuumed the carpets.
I watered the plants, inside and out. I rebaited the bucket traps with peanut butter. I dug up gopher mounds and put the dirt in low spots. I posted to three Facebook pages for the opening of the swap shop. It's Jenni's day but she is still out of town.
I read e-mail. I changed clothes. I took some cleaning supplies to the swap shop. I unlocked it, then got the mail, which I put in my car. Then I unlocked the furniture room and propped the door open.
I went back to the carpeted room of the swap shop and plugged in a vacuum. I went around sweeping, but wasn't impressed with the suction. However, the hose worked really well. Then I got out the swap shop vacuum. It picked up dirt much better, but the hose didn't work. Sigh.
Anka came in with her kids. I asked them not to make a mess. The son asked what I was doing and why. I went to the next room (uncarpeted) to dustmop. Her husband came in and I asked him if he could look at the vacuums, and he did. He figured out what was going on and fixed them.
I was going to wet mop the floor, but the kids were in there. So I went to the furniture room to sweep that floor. I found it wet. There were hoses on the floor and a mini-fridge, defrosting. I might not have cared much, but it was being soaked up by a mattress! Anka helped me move the mattress. I put a box under the other one. I got out my wet/dry vac and swept up what I could.
Then the whole pile of mattresses and bed frames started sliding down. I called Chris and he said he had just gotten back to post. I kept cleaning until he got there and he helped me prop them back in place. He also took the mini-fridge outside to finish leaking.
After he left, I finished sopping up water as best I could. I took my stuff back to my car. I turned off the lights and locked up. Then I went home, around 7:30.
I covered my plants. I worked on my blog. I made tea. When Chris was ready, we watched two episodes of WTR. Michelle stopped by with 4 quarts of goat milk. I paid her for them plus extra for stuff she bought for the German dinner.
After the show, he got ready and went to bed. I stayed up to finish listening to some interview. I heard the wind roaring outside so I went out to pull the tower garden up to the house., then I put on a sleep meditation and laid in the recliner. But it did not put me to sleep. Eventually I got up and went to bed.
