Planting the underground crops

Saturday

I got up around 8:30. I took supplements, then read e-mail and messages. I asked Chris for a massage and he agreed. Afterward he fell asleep. I took a shower. Then I made and ate breakfast. I read more e-mail. I watered all the plants. I flooded some gopher holes. A gopher came up and died for his effort.

I collected my old carrots, old potatoes and cut off some onion heads. I went to the garden to plant. But the water didn't come on. I watered with the jugs that were there, then took them home to refill.

I listened to an interview on Blushield products. Someone called wanting a hose from the swap shop. Since those were gone, I grabbed one from my shed and ran down there. He also wanted to look around, so I let him in. I got my mail, which was just a sewing machine part. After he left, Q came in to drop off stuff. Then I went home.

I went to the library to ask for Logan's Run, but she didn't have it. Then we talked about gardening. I went to the garden. I planted a carrot and some onion heads. I watered with the jugs. I checked the greenhouse for water, but that one wasn't turned on either. I checked the buckets for mice and didn't find any.

I went home. I put the part in the sewing machine and it worked. I finished the interview and listening to another one. I ordered a blushield device. I looked at rennet, trying to find a good one, without GMO's or animal stomachs, or TSP. I worked on my blog for Friday.

Since I didn't get Game Night on Friday, I prepared my usual tea and put it in a bottle. I also prepared cheeses to take. I went to Michelle's house. Her husband was loading Myst V on the TV. Michelle came out and we talked. Then I played and the three of us talked. I was able to make progress on three fronts in the game. But the last one was only because Casey made me stay late because I left early last week. Anyway, it was after 11:30 when I headed home. Chris was already asleep. I just got ready and went to bed, not bothering with the recliner.
