More sewing

Chris got up early to talk to the voices- something that hasn't happened for three weeks. I checked my e-mail, Skyped Kurt, and had breakfast. I sewed a baby quilt top from leftover squares. Then I took a break to vacuum the apartment. Mary Ann had asked me the other day if I had seen hide or hair of the cats. The answer is - more hair than hide. So I swept it up. I came across a very nice mp3 on the internet that was a free download, so I copied it to a CD. I also went back to my quilt entries to change the amateur pics to professional ones. But the site would only let me change the descriptions, not the pics. Darn! I went back to sewing. I made another baby quilt top, similar to the first. Then I heard fireworks! So I rushed up to the 19 1/2 floor window and stuck my head out to watch. It was great at first, but then the accumulating cloud of smoke hid all the best parts. I also remembered that last year the window was closed and I didn't open it 'cause then I could see all the way to the ground and it was scary how high it was. So I had to remind myself all through the fireworks not to look down. When I got back to the apartment, Cinnamon was miaowing. When I checked her litter box, it was full. I must have removed 5 pounds of 'used' litter. She sat serenely by, as if to say "YOU have to clean MY litter box, ha, ha'. I spent the rest of the evening reading a book called "Passages".
* I can't remember whose quilted item this is, or why I have a pic of it *
